00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.580 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.360 Welcome.
00:00:06.140 It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz.
00:00:08.520 Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:09.500 This is also going to be the Ben Ferguson Podcast,
00:00:11.560 and many of you are going to hear this on radio stations as well.
00:00:14.780 This is moments after the presidential debate.
00:00:18.660 Senator Cruz, I didn't think it could actually be this bad.
00:00:23.520 It was worse than even I think either of us could have imagined,
00:00:27.220 and now the Democratic Party is screaming,
00:00:30.480 replace the president.
00:00:32.000 Well, you and I are sitting here.
00:00:33.640 It is 10.17 p.m. Texas time.
00:00:35.980 It is 11.17 p.m. East Coast time, the night of the debate.
00:00:39.560 The debate just ended, and I have to say,
00:00:42.200 we have just witnessed what I believe is the most consequential presidential debate in U.S. history.
00:00:47.720 Sometimes debates change things.
00:00:50.020 Sometimes they don't.
00:00:51.000 I believe tonight's debate changed things fundamentally,
00:00:54.680 and I believe the odds have now skyrocketed.
00:00:58.300 I believe the odds are north of 80%
00:01:00.740 that the Democrat Party will remove Joe Biden from the ticket and replace him,
00:01:05.880 and I believe they are likely to replace Joe Biden with Michelle Obama
00:01:09.880 because Biden did so disastrously badly tonight
00:01:13.500 that Democrats across the country are in utter free fall and complete panic.
00:01:18.880 We're going to break all that down tonight.
00:01:20.100 Yeah, and by the way, this was a prediction that you made on this show
00:01:24.940 back in September of 2023
00:01:28.060 that the Democratic kingmakers could bring in Michelle Obama.
00:01:32.400 We'll break all that down.
00:01:34.000 I want to tell you real quick about our friends
00:01:35.540 at the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews,
00:01:38.660 and as Israel's ground campaign against the Hamas terrorists is continuing,
00:01:42.760 the IDF announced that it expects to have complete control
00:01:45.660 of the southern Gava city of Rafa, a Hamas stronghold within two weeks.
00:01:50.840 Tensions continue to rise in Israel's north
00:01:53.540 as there are constant rocket attacks from Hezbollah
00:01:56.600 that have been fired at Israel.
00:01:59.140 Troops have been injured.
00:02:00.340 Sirens have been sounded in neighborhoods along the Lebanon-Israel border as well,
00:02:04.440 and that is where your help comes in.
00:02:07.600 You look at what is happening right now,
00:02:09.880 and they need your help in Israel.
00:02:12.480 Since the terror attack on October the 7th,
00:02:15.440 anti-Semitism has been on the rise,
00:02:17.860 not just in Israel, but here at home in the U.S. and around the world.
00:02:21.580 And that is why I've partnered with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews,
00:02:25.640 and today I am coming to you to ask that you stand with us and IFCJ.
00:02:32.840 This pledge is simple.
00:02:35.160 We are asking Christians to stand with their Jewish brothers and sisters
00:02:38.700 to never be silent to show the Jewish people they are not alone,
00:02:42.940 that they have God and Christians on their side.
00:02:46.300 For the month of June, we're asking Christians to sign the pledge,
00:02:49.860 which will be delivered to the President of Israel
00:02:51.900 to show that Christians in America are not only standing in solidarity,
00:02:55.620 but they are speaking up as well.
00:02:58.100 So let's take a stand today
00:02:59.760 with the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews
00:03:02.080 to let the Jewish people know that they are not alone
00:03:05.060 and we stand proudly behind them.
00:03:07.300 To sign the pledge, all you have to do is go to supportifcj.org.
00:03:12.800 That's supportifcj.org.
00:03:16.000 To take a stand today and stand with the people of Israel,
00:03:19.380 supportifcj.org.
00:03:21.980 Senator, I want to get to some of the highlights,
00:03:25.400 but even before we get to the debate,
00:03:27.800 I think the most shocking part is what happened directly after the debate.
00:03:33.960 This was the first thing that America heard on CNN,
00:03:38.080 the host of the debate.
00:03:39.320 It's into the debate and it continues right now.
00:03:41.820 It involves party strategists.
00:03:43.980 It involves elected officials.
00:03:45.420 It involves fundraisers.
00:03:46.900 And they're having conversations about the President's performance,
00:03:49.740 which they think was dismal,
00:03:51.240 which they think will hurt other people down the party in the ticket.
00:03:54.000 And they're having conversations about what they should do about it.
00:03:56.980 Some of those conversations include,
00:03:58.460 should we go to the White House and ask the President to step aside?
00:04:01.260 Others are, other of the conversations are about,
00:04:03.840 should prominent Democrats go public with that call?
00:04:07.100 Because they feel this debate was so terrible.
00:04:09.800 They do say, in moments in the debate later,
00:04:12.500 the President got better and got his footing.
00:04:14.420 But then at the end, even his closing statement was a little halting.
00:04:17.260 The contrast between the two candidates.
00:04:19.140 Let me be clear.
00:04:20.020 None of them, and a lot of Republicans,
00:04:21.960 don't think Donald Trump had a great night.
00:04:23.280 Donald Trump broke the fact-check machine more than I can count tonight.
00:04:26.480 That will be on the record as we go forward.
00:04:28.600 He refused to answer some very specific and direct questions
00:04:31.360 about his conduct, about January 6th and what all.
00:04:33.860 So that will be dealt with out there.
00:04:35.700 And sometimes there's a parallel universe
00:04:37.380 between the political elites and the American people.
00:04:40.860 It would be nice to see what the voters say.
00:04:42.780 But I can tell you, it started minutes in.
00:04:44.500 It started with the first couple of answers.
00:04:46.440 And it has continued throughout the night from a,
00:04:48.260 oh my God, oh my God, oh my God,
00:04:49.700 to what do we do about this.
00:04:51.240 And it involves very senior people in the Democratic Party,
00:04:54.320 including elected officials, saying we have a problem.
00:04:57.760 We have a problem.
00:04:59.240 They're moving actively right now to replace Joe Biden,
00:05:02.660 saying we've got time before the convention,
00:05:05.220 which is exactly what you predicted on this show nine months ago.
00:05:08.800 Well, let me say, what you played just there,
00:05:12.560 I agree with half of it and I disagree with half of it.
00:05:14.620 What I do agree with is that Joe Biden did unbelievably badly,
00:05:19.400 that the degree of dementia he is facing right now,
00:05:24.900 it has escalated to a point that it is unrecognizable.
00:05:28.420 And I think there are a great many Democrats
00:05:30.300 who are looking at this saying,
00:05:32.240 we cannot nominate this man.
00:05:33.820 He is not capable.
00:05:35.220 He doesn't know what's going on.
00:05:36.280 In a second, we're going to play a couple of clips that show that.
00:05:38.300 But it was, I will say,
00:05:41.380 as badly as I thought Joe Biden was going to do,
00:05:43.440 he did worse.
00:05:44.400 It was stunning.
00:05:45.640 I've never seen a debate performance this bad.
00:05:48.660 But the part I disagree of what you just played
00:05:50.660 is I think Donald Trump had hands down
00:05:53.300 his best debate performance he has ever had in his life.
00:05:55.840 Look, I've stood on that stage with Donald Trump
00:05:57.900 about a dozen times.
00:06:00.200 And I've seen him, and sometimes he's had good debates,
00:06:02.660 sometimes he's had less than good debates.
00:06:04.700 Tonight, he did exactly what,
00:06:06.760 earlier this morning,
00:06:08.380 you and I did a special podcast preparing for this debate.
00:06:11.100 And what you and I talked about that Trump needed to do
00:06:13.800 is be calm,
00:06:15.880 be measured,
00:06:16.960 be under control,
00:06:18.480 not interrupt.
00:06:20.480 Joe Biden,
00:06:21.480 let him hang himself.
00:06:23.420 Give him the airtime to talk.
00:06:25.640 And Trump did that spectacularly.
00:06:28.760 He was restrained,
00:06:29.940 even as Biden was saying ridiculous things.
00:06:33.240 He was restrained.
00:06:34.400 He was calmed.
00:06:35.140 He was matter of fact.
00:06:36.520 He prosecuted the case.
00:06:38.520 And Biden couldn't handle it.
00:06:39.920 Biden repeatedly was screaming,
00:06:42.420 you're a liar.
00:06:43.020 You're lying.
00:06:43.740 I mean,
00:06:44.620 he was,
00:06:45.800 there were moments,
00:06:47.580 look,
00:06:47.980 it's clear,
00:06:48.560 we talked before about the meds.
00:06:50.220 They had him on meds.
00:06:51.460 They put him on different meds from the state of the union.
00:06:54.120 He was not nearly as amped up as he was at the state of the union.
00:06:58.340 But when Trump poked him and he got angry,
00:07:01.980 Biden couldn't respond other than just screaming,
00:07:05.020 liar,
00:07:05.380 liar,
00:07:05.720 liar.
00:07:06.000 And he returned to the state of the union,
00:07:08.780 old man on his front porch screaming,
00:07:10.880 get off my front porch.
00:07:11.840 He had moments like that,
00:07:12.900 but,
00:07:13.560 but that's not even the dominant takeaway.
00:07:15.380 The dominant takeaway is this is a man who doesn't know what's going on here.
00:07:19.920 I want to play the clip early in the debate where he just completely loses his train of thought.
00:07:27.320 And this is the answer at which I think people all over the country said,
00:07:31.520 Oh,
00:07:31.800 this guy's just not there.
00:07:33.440 Give a listen.
00:07:34.440 Excuse me with dealing with everything we have to do with.
00:07:38.640 Uh,
00:07:39.820 look,
00:07:40.880 if we finally beat Medicare,
00:07:45.740 we finally beat Medicare.
00:07:49.220 Uh,
00:07:49.700 I mean,
00:07:50.460 Donald Trump's response was quote,
00:07:52.400 I don't,
00:07:53.200 I really don't know what he said at the end of that sentence.
00:07:56.520 I don't think he knows what he said either.
00:07:59.820 And Biden gets lost and,
00:08:02.200 and,
00:08:02.320 and Trump counters with what he counters to that is.
00:08:05.240 And by the way,
00:08:05.960 the question had nothing to do with Medicare.
00:08:07.520 Like the word Medicare comes completely out of left field.
00:08:10.480 It's the only thing he mentioned.
00:08:11.640 He's just like,
00:08:12.080 we finally beat Medicare.
00:08:14.880 And then Trump came and said,
00:08:17.180 well,
00:08:17.380 he said at the end,
00:08:18.320 uh,
00:08:19.120 he beat Medicare.
00:08:20.180 He beat it to death.
00:08:21.300 Give a listen to Trump's response.
00:08:23.460 Play the next clip.
00:08:24.700 All those things we need to do.
00:08:26.260 Child care,
00:08:27.160 elder care,
00:08:27.980 making sure that we continue to strengthen our healthcare system,
00:08:31.540 making sure that we're able to make every single solitary person eligible for what I've done.
00:08:37.520 been able to do with the,
00:08:38.920 uh,
00:08:39.420 with the COVID,
00:08:40.940 excuse me,
00:08:41.420 with,
00:08:41.600 um,
00:08:42.720 dealing with everything we have to do with,
00:08:45.120 uh,
00:08:46.340 look,
00:08:47.400 if we finally beat Medicare.
00:08:52.140 Thank you,
00:08:52.760 President Biden.
00:08:53.540 President Trump.
00:08:54.980 Well,
00:08:55.420 he's right.
00:08:55.780 He did beat Medicare.
00:08:56.980 He beat it to death.
00:08:57.760 And he's destroying Medicare because all of these people are coming in.
00:09:02.060 They're putting them on Medicare.
00:09:03.460 They're putting them on.
00:09:04.700 I mean,
00:09:05.300 you hear that.
00:09:06.260 He just stopped.
00:09:07.600 Didn't know what he was doing.
00:09:08.980 And if you look at the look on his face,
00:09:11.120 Senator,
00:09:12.000 Joe Biden actually looked lost and was looking around like,
00:09:15.420 what am I doing?
00:09:16.080 And where am I?
00:09:17.540 His brain was frozen.
00:09:19.340 It,
00:09:19.540 it,
00:09:19.740 it short circuited throughout the time.
00:09:22.260 I'll tell you,
00:09:22.700 Joe Biden did badly when he wasn't talking,
00:09:25.860 when he wasn't talking,
00:09:26.800 the look on his face was a look of confusion.
00:09:29.500 Listen,
00:09:29.860 anyone who's ever dealt with,
00:09:31.200 with an elderly parent,
00:09:32.320 an elderly grandparent who,
00:09:33.560 who's dealing with the loss of their faculties knows that look.
00:09:37.740 My,
00:09:37.940 my grandmother,
00:09:38.700 my abuela,
00:09:39.260 whom I love,
00:09:39.960 she,
00:09:40.080 she had Alzheimer's.
00:09:41.000 I,
00:09:41.140 I,
00:09:41.420 I've seen,
00:09:42.660 I've seen what happens.
00:09:44.060 It was clear.
00:09:44.980 He didn't know what was going on.
00:09:46.800 He was just confused.
00:09:48.540 And,
00:09:49.060 and even his most passionate defenders,
00:09:54.120 they,
00:09:54.500 they,
00:09:54.660 they,
00:09:54.780 they can't defend them.
00:09:56.020 All right.
00:09:56.160 Maria Shriver.
00:09:57.840 I just saw this kennel Kennedy.
00:10:00.440 Yeah,
00:10:00.980 I just saw this.
00:10:01.900 I love that you saw it.
00:10:03.060 Blue blooded Democrat,
00:10:04.640 Democrat royalty.
00:10:06.520 Let me read you what she just tweeted moments ago.
00:10:09.460 Quote,
00:10:10.280 I love Joe Biden.
00:10:11.820 I know he's a good man.
00:10:13.200 I know his heart is good.
00:10:14.640 I know he's dedicated to our country and is surrounded by good people.
00:10:17.980 Tonight was heartbreaking in many ways.
00:10:20.660 This is a big political moment.
00:10:23.420 There's panic in the democratic party.
00:10:25.580 It's going to be a long night.
00:10:28.260 It's going to be a long night.
00:10:28.280 The Democrats have lost Maria Shriver.
00:10:31.060 That's a problem.
00:10:32.840 Well,
00:10:33.020 and listen to Abby Phillips,
00:10:34.560 Abby Phillips saying this on CNN as well.
00:10:37.260 In the moments afterwards,
00:10:38.720 this is how she described how bad it was for Joe Biden.
00:10:43.180 And just to co-sign what John is saying.
00:10:45.300 I mean,
00:10:45.440 the panic that I am hearing from Democrats is not like anything that I have heard in this campaign so far.
00:10:51.580 And a lot of it has to do with,
00:10:53.060 first of all,
00:10:53.340 there was a deep frustration about Trump's lies.
00:10:56.200 I mean,
00:10:56.340 he lied a lot tonight,
00:10:57.640 but the problem for Biden was that Trump was able to take some sometimes incredible falsehoods and turn them into some kind of argument.
00:11:07.080 Whereas Biden's answers were in a lot of cases,
00:11:10.320 was not coherent,
00:11:12.140 deeply problematic,
00:11:13.180 that he was not able to take pretty straightforward answers and answer them to the.
00:11:21.520 That's CNN.
00:11:22.600 That is CNN,
00:11:23.500 who's saying the Democrats are panicking and Biden's answers were in a lot of cases not coherent.
00:11:28.960 All right.
00:11:29.500 Play Van Jones.
00:11:30.720 Van Jones.
00:11:31.320 This is the hard left here.
00:11:32.520 He's on CNN.
00:11:33.980 Listen,
00:11:34.240 here's what Van Jones had to say.
00:11:35.480 That was painful.
00:11:39.360 I love Joe Biden.
00:11:40.620 I work for Joe Biden.
00:11:42.660 He didn't do well at all.
00:11:45.600 He did not do well at all.
00:11:48.340 It's like a funeral.
00:11:49.620 It's like you're watching a funeral in real time on CNN.
00:11:53.100 This is their instant reaction.
00:11:54.760 These are the first voices that America heard after the debate.
00:11:58.220 Drudge Report,
00:11:58.900 for example,
00:11:59.420 which used to be pretty conservative,
00:12:01.120 Senator.
00:12:01.660 Now they really hate Donald Trump.
00:12:03.380 Their headline right now is Operation Replace Biden.
00:12:07.480 Dem Scramble with 130 days to go.
00:12:11.540 Debate catastrophe.
00:12:13.860 Which brings me back to,
00:12:15.320 let's go back to nine months ago.
00:12:17.720 Nine months ago,
00:12:18.860 September the 18th,
00:12:20.480 you and I had this conversation.
00:12:22.860 And by the way,
00:12:23.420 there were a lot in the media and there were a lot of other people in Washington that said you and I were crazy for having this conversation.
00:12:29.280 So let's play the clip.
00:12:30.640 So here's the scenario that I think is perhaps most likely and most dangerous.
00:12:38.400 In August of 2024,
00:12:41.540 the Democrat kingmakers jettison Joe Biden and parachute in Michelle Obama.
00:12:47.660 And I want you to pause and reflect on this.
00:12:52.060 Oh,
00:12:52.240 I'm pausing and I'm reflecting as we said,
00:12:54.420 and so is everybody else listening right now.
00:12:56.540 I view this as a very serious danger.
00:13:00.920 I'm smiling right now because it terrifies me.
00:13:02.960 And I also could totally see this happening.
00:13:04.760 So Michelle Obama,
00:13:06.080 number one,
00:13:06.840 you don't infuriate African-American women,
00:13:09.860 which is a critical part of the constituency that Democrats are relying on to win.
00:13:14.280 But number two,
00:13:15.660 you avoid the problem.
00:13:17.040 If you pick from any of the four,
00:13:18.600 the other three are pissed because they're all to some extent peers.
00:13:23.760 They're rivals.
00:13:24.480 They're all jabbing knives at each other.
00:13:26.800 Michelle Obama,
00:13:27.820 because she was first lady,
00:13:30.000 has the ability to kind of parachute in above all four and say,
00:13:35.040 Hey,
00:13:35.180 we're not picking among any of you.
00:13:37.160 You guys can all fight it out next time.
00:13:39.300 You're all going to be on the same level.
00:13:41.380 We're coming.
00:13:42.500 This is the Obama's saving the day.
00:13:44.560 And I think in terms of a solution that unifies Democrats,
00:13:50.800 there ain't nothing like that.
00:13:53.880 I also think Michelle is not all that eager to run for president,
00:13:58.140 but to parachute in in August of 24,
00:14:01.400 a couple of months before the presidency and suddenly wake up and be president.
00:14:05.520 Not a bad,
00:14:06.200 not a bad gig.
00:14:06.900 It's not a bad gig at all.
00:14:08.080 Now,
00:14:08.360 would she do it?
00:14:09.380 I don't know.
00:14:11.000 I've,
00:14:11.440 I've met Michelle,
00:14:12.700 but I don't know her personally in any meaningful way.
00:14:15.620 I don't know if she would do it.
00:14:17.420 I do think Barack Obama is already running the Biden administration.
00:14:22.760 I think he is already the puppet master behind this Biden White House.
00:14:26.900 I don't think Joe Biden is the decision maker.
00:14:29.700 And so when I see the media turning on Joe Biden right now,
00:14:33.740 I think the odds of Michelle Obama parachuting in in August of 2024 have risen dramatically.
00:14:43.840 And that ought to scare the hell out of anyone who,
00:14:46.520 who is unhappy about the direction this country is going and doesn't want us to go even crazier in an even worse direction.
00:14:54.100 September 18th,
00:14:55.600 Senator of 2023,
00:14:56.880 we had this discussion.
00:14:59.060 And even right now on MSN.com,
00:15:02.580 the headline is,
00:15:04.200 we beat Medicare.
00:15:06.320 Biden freezes mid answer before being bailed out by moderator.
00:15:10.860 And then they go on to talk about,
00:15:12.700 that was a total disaster by the sitting president.
00:15:15.860 And Democrats are running to replace Joe Biden.
00:15:18.600 So they're not even having the conversation behind closed doors.
00:15:21.280 They're having it out on national TV right now and in the news.
00:15:26.200 Well,
00:15:26.760 and Ben,
00:15:27.360 what you've just played is I think as,
00:15:29.020 as good a,
00:15:29.860 a promo for this podcast as you possibly could have.
00:15:33.780 What we are facing right now,
00:15:35.600 we predicted on this podcast nine months ago in September of 2023,
00:15:39.360 we were among the very first voices to do that at the time.
00:15:42.140 It made a bunch of headlines and you're right.
00:15:44.100 People thought we were bat crap crazy.
00:15:45.820 Let's be clear.
00:15:46.620 They thought I was back,
00:15:47.740 bat crap crazy.
00:15:48.580 I shouldn't say we and stick you into that.
00:15:50.300 Um,
00:15:51.080 you were there while I was making that prediction and they were like,
00:15:54.140 Cruz has lost his mind.
00:15:55.700 And,
00:15:56.180 and,
00:15:56.340 and,
00:15:56.600 and by the way,
00:15:57.420 in terms of predictions,
00:15:58.500 we also at the outset of COVID laid out all of the evidence that COVID
00:16:01.920 originated in a Chinese lab in Wuhan.
00:16:05.040 When,
00:16:05.600 when CNN and ABC,
00:16:07.460 CBS,
00:16:07.840 NBC were suppressing that news,
00:16:09.440 when Facebook and Twitter were suppressing that news,
00:16:11.500 we were laying out the evidence then.
00:16:12.920 And this morning before the debate,
00:16:15.620 our analysis of the debate,
00:16:18.020 I predicted unequivocally,
00:16:19.640 Donald Trump is going to kick Joe Biden's ass.
00:16:22.880 That was my prediction.
00:16:24.180 That is exactly what happened.
00:16:25.700 It was the title of the show.
00:16:26.780 And there were not a lot of people predicting that,
00:16:30.220 but,
00:16:30.400 but I,
00:16:31.500 number one thought Biden would do terribly,
00:16:33.260 but number two,
00:16:34.860 if Trump could remain controlled and he did that,
00:16:39.000 he did that in an excellent way.
00:16:40.500 I'm going to call president Trump tomorrow and tell him it's the best debate
00:16:43.500 he's ever done.
00:16:44.320 And,
00:16:44.800 and I've been there for a lot of them.
00:16:46.380 He,
00:16:46.540 he was measured.
00:16:47.620 He was controlled.
00:16:48.680 He was fact-based.
00:16:50.140 He laid out the case,
00:16:51.340 even his response on,
00:16:52.760 on Medicare.
00:16:53.320 Let's take the one we just played.
00:16:55.140 It would be easy to be starky and say,
00:16:58.140 okay,
00:16:58.360 this guy is like,
00:16:59.460 that answer is incoherent.
00:17:01.960 What Trump did was even better.
00:17:03.740 There said,
00:17:04.220 I mean,
00:17:04.620 look,
00:17:04.780 he said he actually did,
00:17:05.780 did beat Medicare,
00:17:06.860 which was obviously a weird brain short circuit.
00:17:10.260 And he said,
00:17:10.920 the reason he beat Medicare is because he's let,
00:17:13.300 millions and millions of illegal immigrants into this country.
00:17:16.720 He's putting them all in Medicare,
00:17:17.680 which is going to bankrupt Medicare.
00:17:18.840 And that was a major message that Trump is hitting is that the invasion
00:17:22.220 at our Southern border is also bankrupting Medicare and social security.
00:17:25.760 I think that was a smart decision to lean in on that.
00:17:28.620 Joe Biden had no answer.
00:17:29.800 He had no response all night long.
00:17:33.060 As Trump laid out the case,
00:17:35.000 you caused the inflation.
00:17:36.940 Joe Biden had no response to that.
00:17:38.540 As Trump laid out the people who are being murdered all across this country
00:17:42.300 from criminals and insane asylums.
00:17:44.400 When Trump would say,
00:17:45.420 look,
00:17:46.060 Venezuela is emptying their jails and sending us murderers and rapists and
00:17:49.420 child molesters and lunatics.
00:17:51.180 You saw Joe Biden just looking confused.
00:17:53.680 He had no response.
00:17:54.600 He didn't dispute it.
00:17:55.860 He had nothing to say in response on foreign policy.
00:18:00.380 And we talked about this again in,
00:18:02.000 in this morning's podcast,
00:18:03.920 Joe Biden just said,
00:18:04.900 well,
00:18:04.980 if Trump's president,
00:18:06.600 Putin will invade all of Ukraine and all of Europe.
00:18:08.940 And Trump is like,
00:18:09.700 what utter crap?
00:18:11.040 When I was president,
00:18:12.080 Russia didn't invade one square inch of territory anywhere on planet Earth.
00:18:16.480 And by the way,
00:18:17.400 he did under Barack Obama and he did under Joe Biden.
00:18:19.980 You were so weak that that's why Putin invaded.
00:18:23.620 And it,
00:18:25.480 Trump did an excellent job of prosecuting the case.
00:18:29.620 And Biden was utterly incapable of responding.
00:18:34.240 And,
00:18:34.340 and,
00:18:34.580 and I think you are seeing,
00:18:36.220 seeing Democrats freaking out.
00:18:39.040 Now,
00:18:39.160 I believe there are two things.
00:18:40.660 Well,
00:18:41.080 let me,
00:18:41.260 let me say a couple of things.
00:18:42.260 Number one,
00:18:42.720 let me tell you why I believe it'll be Michelle Obama,
00:18:44.740 because you're going to see today and tomorrow,
00:18:47.120 all sorts of discussion.
00:18:48.520 You're going to hear Gavin Newsom.
00:18:50.780 You're going to hear all sorts of other names.
00:18:52.920 Let me ask you this.
00:18:53.980 I think if they do it,
00:18:55.320 what's the pitch?
00:18:55.980 Cause it's going to start with Barack Obama,
00:18:58.400 who was just leading Joe Biden off stage.
00:19:00.840 Remember?
00:19:01.460 Yeah.
00:19:01.620 And everybody saw it like he was an elderly old man at all folks home.
00:19:04.660 And I'm not saying that to be mean.
00:19:05.800 I'm just being honest about it.
00:19:07.760 And clearly he witnessed how bad it was.
00:19:10.220 Then does,
00:19:11.440 is he the guy that has to look at Michelle tonight going,
00:19:13.840 I do it,
00:19:14.380 but I can't,
00:19:14.860 I've already been president for eight years.
00:19:16.320 It has to be you,
00:19:17.200 honey.
00:19:18.760 Well,
00:19:19.200 let,
00:19:19.340 let me break it into two pieces.
00:19:20.660 Let me tell you why it has to be Michelle.
00:19:22.980 It has to be Michelle because of Kamala Harris.
00:19:25.980 Kamala Harris is the VP.
00:19:28.080 If you push Joe Biden aside,
00:19:30.340 Kamala's next in line.
00:19:32.020 The people who say we want Gavin Newsom,
00:19:34.220 you know what?
00:19:34.900 If the Democrat party pushes an African American woman aside and replaces her with a white guy,
00:19:40.920 their party implodes.
00:19:42.760 They cannot do it.
00:19:44.060 They are bean counters.
00:19:45.980 And,
00:19:46.040 and they are faced.
00:19:47.900 It's actually what forced Joe Biden to pick Kamala in the first place.
00:19:50.680 He backed himself into it.
00:19:52.440 He doesn't like Kamala.
00:19:53.600 And the problem Democrats are having that now is they're looking at Joe Biden.
00:19:56.980 They're saying,
00:19:57.440 Oh my goodness,
00:19:58.540 this guy cannot be our nominee.
00:20:00.420 And they look at Kamala and they recognize she's a terrible nominee.
00:20:04.340 And if she's the nominee,
00:20:05.860 they know they'll lose.
00:20:07.540 And so their problem is the only person on planet earth who can push Kamala Harris aside
00:20:14.260 is Michelle Obama,
00:20:15.680 another African American woman who stands on a different footing as a former first lady.
00:20:21.640 Now,
00:20:22.240 what are the impediments that stop it?
00:20:25.820 The impediments are twofold.
00:20:27.520 Number one,
00:20:28.000 Michelle says no.
00:20:29.080 Number two,
00:20:29.740 Joe Biden says no.
00:20:31.560 On the Michelle says no,
00:20:33.600 I think you're going to have Barack coming to her.
00:20:35.420 I think you're going to have a lot of Democrat kingmakers coming to her.
00:20:39.640 And the pitch is going to be Michelle.
00:20:41.060 You need to save America.
00:20:42.800 Michelle,
00:20:43.320 we need you.
00:20:44.340 Michelle,
00:20:44.680 if you do not step forward,
00:20:46.100 Donald Trump is going to be president.
00:20:47.780 Michelle,
00:20:48.140 you are the only person on planet earth that can save the world from a Donald Trump presidency.
00:20:53.280 And listen,
00:20:53.840 people perceive Michelle Obama as somewhat nonpartisan because she was,
00:20:58.580 she was a first lady in first ladies kind of stay out of politics.
00:21:01.600 I think she is more radical than Barack is.
00:21:04.620 I think she is an ideologue.
00:21:05.980 I think she is a leftist.
00:21:07.400 You remember when,
00:21:08.180 when Barack Obama was running and she talked about his getting elected was the first time in her life.
00:21:13.320 She was proud of her country.
00:21:14.580 I think she embraces hardcore leftism,
00:21:17.800 but a lot of people don't know that.
00:21:20.180 And,
00:21:20.340 and so the pitch to her is going to be save America.
00:21:23.880 And then the pitch to Joe Biden,
00:21:25.820 she's got to say yes.
00:21:27.380 Number one.
00:21:27.940 And then two,
00:21:28.620 Joe Biden has got to agree to step aside.
00:21:30.580 And I think you're going to see in the coming days,
00:21:33.440 you know,
00:21:33.740 you played my prediction from September of 2023.
00:21:36.060 The only thing I might've gotten wrong is I said this,
00:21:38.940 that this would happen in August of 2024.
00:21:40.940 It may be July of 2024.
00:21:42.640 I may have been a month off in the timing because this debate,
00:21:47.000 I think changed the fundamental terrain.
00:21:49.980 Canadian women are looking for more,
00:21:52.040 more to themselves,
00:21:53.100 their businesses,
00:21:54.060 their elected leaders,
00:21:55.000 and the world are open.
00:21:55.940 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the honest talk podcast.
00:21:58.940 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:22:01.160 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:22:02.460 And in this podcast,
00:22:03.520 we interview Canada's most inspiring women,
00:22:06.000 entrepreneurs,
00:22:06.820 artists,
00:22:07.480 athletes,
00:22:08.100 politicians,
00:22:08.800 and newsmakers,
00:22:09.700 all at different stages of their journey.
00:22:11.880 So if you're looking to connect,
00:22:13.680 then we hope you'll join us.
00:22:15.120 Listen to the honest talk podcast on I heart radio,
00:22:17.460 or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:22:19.200 Let's also talk about,
00:22:22.800 there was two moments that I think really speak to the demise of the cognitive
00:22:27.580 client of Joe Biden.
00:22:29.320 And,
00:22:29.880 and it was subtle,
00:22:30.940 but significant.
00:22:32.120 And I want to get your reaction to it.
00:22:34.780 There was one moment when he was asked about social security and he gave a
00:22:40.380 very,
00:22:40.760 very short answer.
00:22:41.760 And then the moderators looked at him like,
00:22:43.140 what are you doing?
00:22:43.800 You still have,
00:22:44.440 I think they said 84 seconds left or something like that.
00:22:47.660 There was another time he was talking about African-American voters,
00:22:50.360 African-American community and African-American issues.
00:22:52.960 And they're like,
00:22:53.560 sir,
00:22:53.980 you still have like another minute and X number of seconds,
00:22:56.660 60,
00:22:57.020 64 seconds left.
00:22:58.660 He couldn't even,
00:22:59.800 and by the way,
00:23:00.220 he spent eight days at Camp David preparing and he could not fill the two
00:23:03.820 minutes with an answer.
00:23:04.520 The two minutes on two vitally important issues like social security,
00:23:09.240 any politician should be able to fill for two minutes.
00:23:11.920 In fact,
00:23:12.400 you should be able to fill these were not subtle.
00:23:14.260 These were not gotchas.
00:23:15.320 These were obvious questions.
00:23:16.680 He had nothing to say.
00:23:18.880 He was scared.
00:23:20.640 He,
00:23:21.000 he,
00:23:21.340 he,
00:23:21.620 he was a deer in the headlights.
00:23:24.880 So you said deer in headlights.
00:23:27.160 Let's go to the next conversation that's being had right now.
00:23:30.960 And I'm sure it's being had at the white house,
00:23:33.320 at the EOB,
00:23:34.620 at the campaign headquarters,
00:23:36.120 who goes to the president first and says,
00:23:39.440 step down.
00:23:40.040 And,
00:23:40.200 and then you're also dealing with a guy that's very stubborn though.
00:23:43.940 Like he can just,
00:23:45.080 can't he just look at them and say,
00:23:46.080 I'm not going to do it.
00:23:48.280 He,
00:23:48.640 he,
00:23:48.900 he is absolutely stubborn.
00:23:50.560 I think it is Barack Obama.
00:23:51.940 I think it is Nancy Pelosi.
00:23:53.000 I think it is Chuck Schumer.
00:23:54.320 I think it is every leader in the Democrat party.
00:23:57.140 It's not Kamala Harris.
00:23:58.200 Kamala is not allowed in the room,
00:23:59.360 but I think it is.
00:24:00.920 And they go to him and their pitch to him.
00:24:02.880 They say,
00:24:03.280 Joe,
00:24:03.540 you were an historic president.
00:24:04.880 You saved America from Donald Trump.
00:24:06.820 You wanted to be the next FDR.
00:24:08.680 I think they will,
00:24:09.320 they will appeal to his vanity and say,
00:24:10.940 you are the next FDR.
00:24:12.640 You are consequential right now.
00:24:15.580 If you stay in the race,
00:24:16.800 you risk undoing your entire legacy and giving that legacy,
00:24:20.940 going down in history as the man who made Donald Trump president.
00:24:24.380 If you stay in this race,
00:24:25.740 it will be your fault that Trump is president.
00:24:28.160 I think they'll appeal to his vanity.
00:24:30.240 And,
00:24:30.260 and,
00:24:30.440 and look that that is,
00:24:32.740 I think to Joe Biden,
00:24:33.760 a really powerful pitch.
00:24:35.200 Look,
00:24:35.540 you,
00:24:35.660 you look at the debate tonight.
00:24:37.140 He said things at one point,
00:24:38.500 he said during Trump's presidency,
00:24:40.620 we had a thousand trillionaires,
00:24:42.640 by the way,
00:24:43.000 there are no trillionaires on planet earth.
00:24:45.020 And another point he said during Donald Trump,
00:24:47.380 we had 50% unemployment.
00:24:49.460 No,
00:24:49.900 that is wildly wrong.
00:24:52.120 At another point,
00:24:53.220 he said he created Joe Biden created hundreds of millions of jobs.
00:24:57.400 Mind you,
00:24:57.740 there are 330 million Americans.
00:24:59.520 And apparently he's created hundreds of millions of jobs.
00:25:01.920 So more,
00:25:02.500 more jobs than there are working Americans.
00:25:04.820 Like it is.
00:25:06.980 Every answer was a problem.
00:25:09.140 At another point,
00:25:09.740 he said the border patrol endorsed me.
00:25:11.680 Let's be clear.
00:25:12.200 The border patrol union immediately tweeted out to be clear.
00:25:15.140 We have never,
00:25:16.020 and we'll never endorse Biden at every stage.
00:25:19.180 And what's interesting,
00:25:20.040 he was also trying to insult Trump.
00:25:23.820 Yeah.
00:25:24.260 And Trump didn't take the bait.
00:25:26.280 Yeah.
00:25:26.500 And that was smart.
00:25:27.880 It was really,
00:25:29.360 and actually,
00:25:30.400 when Trump poked Biden,
00:25:32.560 Biden freaked out.
00:25:33.560 He,
00:25:33.680 he couldn't not take the bait.
00:25:35.780 And so the contrast,
00:25:36.700 and I,
00:25:36.820 and I'll say something else.
00:25:37.660 You mentioned African-American votes.
00:25:41.200 Trump's numbers are surging in the black community.
00:25:43.480 And I think tonight he made a very hard pitch for black voters and,
00:25:47.280 and his most significant pitch.
00:25:48.640 He had a lot of points about how bad Trump,
00:25:51.180 how bad Biden has been for the African-American community.
00:25:54.060 Talked about inflation,
00:25:55.020 how it's hammering black families,
00:25:57.180 but then he also tied it to illegal immigration.
00:25:59.840 And he said,
00:26:00.460 look,
00:26:01.160 the,
00:26:01.340 the,
00:26:01.540 the,
00:26:01.800 the millions and millions of illegal immigrants that are coming into this
00:26:04.460 country,
00:26:04.760 they're taking jobs from black Americans.
00:26:07.460 That is a powerful argument.
00:26:09.480 That is an argument.
00:26:10.440 And by the way,
00:26:12.160 Biden had no response to that.
00:26:13.760 It was silent.
00:26:14.640 It was on the substance.
00:26:17.220 Trump prosecuted the case and,
00:26:19.720 and,
00:26:19.900 and Biden crashed and burned.
00:26:22.380 And,
00:26:22.640 and in fact,
00:26:23.220 the wall street journal,
00:26:24.180 just sent out their key takeaway,
00:26:27.400 their,
00:26:27.580 their story that they wrote tonight,
00:26:29.100 and it's now 10 47 PM.
00:26:31.280 And,
00:26:31.860 and,
00:26:32.000 and their headline is Biden crashed in first debate with Trump.
00:26:35.740 That's not an editorial.
00:26:36.800 That's the news headline in the wall street journal,
00:26:39.740 because it is just objectively.
00:26:42.140 If you watch the Hindenburg explode,
00:26:44.560 you don't say Zeppelin landed tonight.
00:26:48.040 Great point.
00:26:49.140 Want to talk to you about my friends at black hour coffee.
00:26:51.500 The world is up in flames.
00:26:52.940 Bidenomics is a complete and total disaster.
00:26:56.020 And the reality is there's a lot of companies out there that are still going to try to prop him up.
00:27:01.740 There's a lot of woke liberal coffee companies out there that are going to still give incredible amounts of money to Joe Biden and other Democrats running for office.
00:27:11.340 That is one reason why I want you to know about blackout coffee,
00:27:14.740 because they were created by a group of conservatives that said,
00:27:18.000 Hey,
00:27:18.400 we're a hundred percent committed to conservative values.
00:27:20.860 We're not going to give our money to these woke companies.
00:27:22.520 And we're committed to conservative values from the sourcing of our beans,
00:27:26.540 the roasting process,
00:27:28.180 customer support and shipping.
00:27:30.680 Blackout coffee,
00:27:31.720 they truly embody American values.
00:27:35.000 And then here's the other big thing.
00:27:37.140 You get a premium cup of coffee every single day.
00:27:39.720 I start my day at 7 a.m.
00:27:41.040 on the radio.
00:27:41.700 I have to have a great cup of coffee,
00:27:43.500 not an average cup of coffee.
00:27:45.020 I want an amazing cup of coffee.
00:27:46.920 And that is what I get from blackout coffee.
00:27:49.080 I get a premium cup of coffee every single morning.
00:27:53.400 I want you to try it.

00:28:15.780 Use the coupon code verdict for 20% off your first order.
00:28:19.240 Be awake, not woke,
00:28:21.140 and get the best cup of coffee,
00:28:22.440 a premium cup of coffee every day.
00:28:25.120 Blackoutcoffee.com slash verdict.
00:28:26.840 Promo code verdict for 20% off your first order.
00:28:29.480 Let's also talk about those that have been lying.
00:28:32.780 The media center has been lying.
00:28:35.680 Congressmen have been lying.
00:28:37.740 Staff members have been lying.
00:28:39.940 They've been going on TV telling you
00:28:41.620 that Joe Biden can run circles around me.
00:28:43.980 The White House press secretary saying over and over again,
00:28:46.460 saying there's no cognitive decline here,
00:28:49.100 saying that he's in perfect health.
00:28:50.580 This guy is a beast.
00:28:52.280 He's jacked up.
00:28:53.660 Aviator Joe.
00:28:55.040 Now they're all actually having to admit they're wrong,
00:28:57.740 but no one's going to, I think,
00:28:59.040 hold them accountable for that.
00:29:00.300 They're just going to run out there and say,
00:29:01.560 clearly it's time for him to step aside,
00:29:03.360 step aside,
00:29:03.940 step aside,
00:29:04.580 which is also weird
00:29:06.180 because if you're not cognitive,
00:29:09.140 you don't have the cognitive ability
00:29:10.720 to be president in the future,
00:29:14.060 right,
00:29:14.420 and they're saying he can't be the president
00:29:16.420 come January again,
00:29:17.940 then when does the 25th
00:29:21.080 and does that even come up
00:29:22.360 because you're admitting
00:29:23.160 that he's basically incapacitated now?
00:29:25.940 Yeah, listen,
00:29:28.820 we have seen reporters
00:29:30.400 and we've seen Democrats
00:29:31.600 lying about Joe's mental capacity
00:29:33.260 for a long time,
00:29:34.700 and nobody fair and objective
00:29:37.040 who watched tonight
00:29:38.080 could conclude anything other than
00:29:40.260 this is a man who is seriously mentally diminished.
00:29:43.240 You know, it's interesting,
00:29:43.960 Andrew Yang,
00:29:44.700 who you remember ran for president
00:29:45.740 against Joe in 2020,
00:29:47.620 he tweeted out tonight,
00:29:48.800 quote,
00:29:49.480 look,
00:29:50.220 I debated Joe seven times in 2020.
00:29:53.300 He's a different guy in 2024,
00:29:55.340 hashtag swap Joe out.
00:29:59.280 That's from one of the alternative,
00:30:03.060 one of the other candidates
00:30:04.580 who ran against 2020
00:30:05.720 from a prominent Democrat.
00:30:07.200 Two of the top trends
00:30:08.580 that were trending tonight
00:30:09.440 right after the debate
00:30:10.320 were dementia
00:30:11.640 and Michelle Obama.
00:30:14.040 Now, that's bad news
00:30:15.340 if that's what's,
00:30:16.820 what is trending.
00:30:22.040 And all right,
00:30:22.760 I want to wrap up
00:30:24.160 tonight's pod with this.
00:30:26.120 I'm going to do something
00:30:27.120 I have rarely,
00:30:28.140 if ever done,
00:30:28.920 I may never have done this before.
00:30:31.020 I'm going to praise CNN.
00:30:33.160 This morning's debate,
00:30:35.240 you and I both thought
00:30:36.300 Jake Tapper and Dana Bash
00:30:37.920 would do a terrible job.
00:30:39.380 They both hate Donald Trump.
00:30:40.820 They both have become hard partisans.
00:30:44.040 CNN did an excellent job tonight
00:30:45.720 with this debate.
00:30:46.340 Jake Tapper
00:30:47.360 and Dana Bash,
00:30:49.380 that was the best
00:30:50.260 debate moderation
00:30:51.860 they have ever done.
00:30:53.100 They asked good questions.
00:30:54.840 They asked substantive questions.
00:30:57.060 They didn't make
00:30:58.220 the debate about them.
00:30:59.280 One of the interesting things,
00:31:00.500 no one is debating
00:31:01.360 about the moderators.
00:31:02.820 Bad debate moderators.
00:31:04.380 When Chris Wallace
00:31:05.280 debated,
00:31:06.340 moderated,
00:31:07.080 the whole debate
00:31:07.560 was about him
00:31:08.100 because he wanted to be
00:31:08.840 right in the center of the show.
00:31:09.780 When Candy Crowley
00:31:10.680 from CNN
00:31:12.060 was the moderator
00:31:13.480 between Obama
00:31:14.660 and Mitt Romney,
00:31:16.340 she made it all about her.
00:31:18.420 Jake and Dana,
00:31:19.500 they asked good questions.
00:31:20.740 They moved subjects along.
00:31:22.420 They would press the candidates
00:31:23.900 but not in a jerky way.
00:31:26.220 They'd just say,
00:31:27.120 I asked you
00:31:28.100 the following question.
00:31:29.100 You have another 60 seconds
00:31:30.140 to answer it
00:31:30.680 when they didn't get
00:31:31.200 their questions answered.
00:31:31.980 That's a perfectly reasonable thing
00:31:33.600 for a debate moderator to do.
00:31:36.140 I've been in multiple debates
00:31:37.680 that each of them
00:31:38.360 have moderated.
00:31:39.500 I think they both
00:31:40.560 were incredibly sensitive
00:31:42.020 to everyone laying out
00:31:43.820 the facts
00:31:44.260 that they have shown
00:31:45.260 wild bias
00:31:46.320 and tonight,
00:31:47.940 tonight they didn't
00:31:49.080 and they did an excellent job
00:31:50.400 and I think that was
00:31:51.140 a service to the country.
00:31:52.680 I have to ask you
00:31:53.280 one other question
00:31:54.240 because everyone's asking
00:31:55.700 it in their head right now.
00:31:57.600 What is the likelihood?
00:31:58.180 Hold on a second, Ben.
00:31:58.960 You didn't respond to that
00:31:59.900 and since you're
00:32:01.100 a former employee of CNN,
00:32:02.560 I'm not going to let you.
00:32:04.300 Ben, you have 62 seconds.
00:32:06.120 The question is,
00:32:07.120 do you think
00:32:07.560 Jake and Dana
00:32:08.780 did a good job?
00:32:09.760 I think they did
00:32:10.620 a decent job
00:32:11.500 and here's why
00:32:12.100 I'm not going to give them
00:32:12.700 as much credit as you did.
00:32:13.880 You ready for this?
00:32:14.780 All right, good, good.
00:32:15.760 But I'm going to make you answer it.
00:32:16.980 I'm not going to let you
00:32:17.760 wiggle away.
00:32:18.560 Fair point.
00:32:19.500 Here's what I'll say.
00:32:20.400 I think they were in
00:32:21.740 as much shock
00:32:22.500 as we were going,
00:32:23.540 holy crap,
00:32:24.300 I'm watching an incapacitated
00:32:25.880 president of the United States
00:32:27.160 of America
00:32:27.740 and they were caught
00:32:29.300 so off guard,
00:32:30.140 they said,
00:32:30.560 just stick to the script,
00:32:31.320 just stick to the script,
00:32:32.060 just stick to the script.
00:32:32.820 Like, it was a default mode
00:32:34.740 because it was such
00:32:36.120 a glaring disaster
00:32:37.460 with Biden
00:32:38.840 that no one,
00:32:40.040 none of the moderators
00:32:41.260 were honestly paying attention
00:32:42.620 to Donald Trump
00:32:43.360 or anything else happening.
00:32:45.060 But Jake and Dana
00:32:45.800 were more measured
00:32:47.920 than I've ever seen them.
00:32:49.000 They were deliberately controlled.
00:32:51.460 They knew that half the country
00:32:53.440 viewed them as wild-eyed partisans.
00:32:55.920 Look, we played this morning,
00:32:57.960 Jake,
00:32:59.580 analogizing Trump
00:33:01.100 to Adolf Hitler.
00:33:02.300 Yes.
00:33:02.860 And I still believe that too he is.
00:33:04.340 I think,
00:33:05.980 he believes it,
00:33:07.500 but tonight,
00:33:08.500 that didn't come out.
00:33:09.780 And so,
00:33:10.320 if we're going to criticize him
00:33:11.500 when he's not doing a good job,
00:33:13.760 I will say,
00:33:14.580 I was impressed
00:33:17.000 that they did their job tonight.
00:33:19.000 They were having the biggest
00:33:20.220 political train wreck
00:33:21.860 in American history
00:33:23.260 and they were in it
00:33:24.260 and it was like,
00:33:25.160 I don't know what to do.
00:33:26.900 How do you triage this?
00:33:29.320 And so,
00:33:30.080 they got rid of some of that.
00:33:31.980 I think if Joe Biden
00:33:33.120 would have showed up,
00:33:33.880 jacked up like he did
00:33:34.700 at the State of the Union,
00:33:36.660 I think it would have been
00:33:37.360 a completely different debate
00:33:38.300 from the moderator's standpoint.
00:33:40.020 But I think they saw
00:33:41.160 what everybody else saw,
00:33:42.380 which was,
00:33:42.760 we have a president
00:33:43.840 that is incapacitated
00:33:45.180 and the whole world
00:33:46.040 is watching it now
00:33:46.880 and no one can stop it.
00:33:48.680 There was no one
00:33:49.640 to step in
00:33:50.380 and lead him off the stage
00:33:51.640 like Barack Obama
00:33:53.100 did two weeks ago,
00:33:54.080 which brings me back
00:33:54.920 to that question
00:33:55.660 that everyone's asking.
00:33:57.940 How quickly
00:33:58.740 will we find out
00:33:59.840 if the conversations
00:34:00.900 with Joe Biden
00:34:01.900 are going to work
00:34:03.060 to get him to step aside,
00:34:04.540 number one,
00:34:05.540 okay?
00:34:06.300 And number two,
00:34:08.160 how quickly
00:34:09.280 do Democrats
00:34:10.300 have to fall back in line
00:34:11.940 and stick with this guy
00:34:13.400 if he doesn't
00:34:15.020 decide to step down?
00:34:16.180 And those are the two
00:34:17.000 most important questions
00:34:17.900 maybe the entire night.
00:34:19.740 Three weeks.
00:34:20.700 21 days.
00:34:21.860 This happens
00:34:22.380 or doesn't happen
00:34:23.060 in three weeks.
00:34:23.860 I think you're going
00:34:25.880 to have massive chaos
00:34:27.140 following this debate.
00:34:28.540 You're going to have
00:34:28.940 massive panic.
00:34:29.780 People are going
00:34:30.160 to go to Michelle Obama.
00:34:31.180 People are going
00:34:31.620 to go to Joe Biden.
00:34:34.520 I don't think,
00:34:35.960 given the train wreck
00:34:38.580 that happened tonight,
00:34:40.220 I don't think they'll wait
00:34:41.520 until after the Democrat convention.
00:34:43.240 I think they feel
00:34:43.920 a panic right now.
00:34:44.920 I think they're going
00:34:45.520 to want Michelle Obama
00:34:46.700 to be the keynote speaker
00:34:48.260 at the Democrat convention,
00:34:49.520 not Joe Biden.
00:34:50.480 So I think we have 21 days
00:34:52.040 for this to play out.
00:34:53.360 And look,
00:34:54.620 over the course
00:34:55.360 of the last year,
00:34:56.400 I've handicapped this.
00:34:57.760 I initially laid it out
00:34:58.720 as a possibility.
00:34:59.720 I then shifted
00:35:00.440 as the Democrats
00:35:01.280 and the media
00:35:02.260 were starting to get nervous
00:35:03.680 about Joe Biden.
00:35:04.600 I shifted to about 50%.
00:35:06.060 As we sit here today,
00:35:07.600 I put the odds
00:35:08.440 at north of 80%
00:35:09.580 that Michelle Obama
00:35:11.240 is the Democrat nominee
00:35:12.320 on the ballot
00:35:13.300 in November of this year.
00:35:14.920 There it is.
00:35:15.860 This has been fun.
00:35:17.320 It's shocking.
00:35:18.360 It is crazy
00:35:19.120 to watch this debate
00:35:20.280 in real time.
00:35:20.940 Never watched anything like this.
00:35:22.820 It's also fun
