00:21:54.420 And they're doing a pretty good job of that.
00:21:56.740 They're saying her name over and over and over and over again.
00:22:01.340 They're trying to prop her up.
00:22:04.040 However, D.C. insiders are saying there's, quote, deep fear inside the Democratic Party that Kamala Harris is Walter Mondale 2.0, who lost in a landslide to Reagan after campaigning on tax hikes, which they have now put out there.
00:22:20.020 And they worry that actually Kamala may be worse because you're dealing with tax hikes plus record inflation plus government price controls, communism that she said we need.
00:22:32.500 And not even Mondale campaigned on that.
00:22:36.580 That is still the fear behind the scenes.
00:22:39.160 Just to put it in perspective, by the way, Mondale, when he campaigned, inflation was 18% back then in the early 1980s.

00:23:08.320 You know, if you look at, number one, this election, this election next year in 2025, most of the 2017 tax cuts are expiring.
00:23:20.340 Donald Trump has said if he's president, he will extend those tax cuts and we will need a Republican House and Senate.
00:23:27.120 If we have a Republican House and Senate and Donald Trump in the White House, we will extend the 2017 tax cuts.

00:23:36.000 That's what I'm arguing for is not just extend them, but have even bigger and bolder tax cuts that will help working families, help job creators, help turn the economy around.

00:23:50.140 On the flip side, Kamala Harris has said if she is president, she will allow the tax cuts to expire.

00:24:19.780 This is also the first time in your and my lifetime since Walter Mondale that a major party presidential nominee has campaigned on massive tax increases.

00:25:28.620 Walter Mondale lost forty nine states.
00:25:32.760 The only state he won was his home state of Minnesota, and he almost lost that one.

00:31:52.960 But there was some reporting that came out night, too, and it said VP Kamala Harris held an event 90 miles away from the DNC on the night the party's two most popular figures, Barack and Michelle Obama, campaigned on her behalf.
00:32:07.360 And a source familiar with the DNC planning tells Fox that the choice was made out of sensitivity and respect for, quote, Joe Biden.
00:32:16.240 Obama's are still not on the White House good side, quote, unquote.

00:32:22.980 A source familiar with the situation said, quote, it would not be helpful to their relationships, quote, unquote.
00:32:29.840 Fox is told this plan came together to avoid the optics of Harris still serving as Biden's VP,
00:32:35.880 appearing alongside one of the figures he views as responsible for driving him out of office, driving the end of his reelection bid.
00:32:44.000 At the very convention, which was supposed to be his his only weeks ago, quote, we are in tricky territory, the source said to Fox.
00:32:54.140 Now, I find a little bit of hope in this because you mentioned the media.
00:32:58.720 You mentioned everything's supposed to be kumbaya, but there's still a lot going on behind the scenes.
00:33:05.340 There are still people, by the way, and I tweeted this out when I was watching Michelle Obama and she came out.
00:33:10.340 I said, go and compare the crowd noise and the excitement when Michelle Obama walked out to when Kamala Harris walked out.
00:33:19.300 And they love Michelle more than they love their president for their candidate for the White House.

00:33:26.600 And you and I 11 months ago predicted, number one, that Joe Biden, the Democrats would throw him off the ticket.

00:35:56.240 He literally demonized Republicans for 31 minutes and then called for unity.

00:36:10.280 And by the way, I'm still waiting for somebody in prime time to say they're glad that Donald Trump is alive and wasn't and wasn't assassinated.

00:36:19.640 No, they're trying to completely erase that gas, gaslight that and just completely erase it from public consciousness that it even happened.

00:36:33.960 I haven't seen a lot of American flags of the Democratic Convention, except if they're being burnt outside of the DNC.

00:36:49.560 We've had a second perimeter wall that's had to be put up because of the pro-Hamas, pro-terrorist protesters.
00:36:54.740 We're able to break through the first wall yesterday and the Chicago police, you know, for Democrats, they're all about defund the police until they need to protect their convention.
00:37:06.060 And many of the Democrats are being protected by these police are the same ones that have been demonizing and attacking the police.
00:37:13.020 One of them, by the way, is Kamala Harris.
00:37:14.560 Let's not let her off the hook for that.
00:37:16.500 And we also found out from that from the people in charge.
00:37:20.380 They said, don't worry if it's a misdemeanor.

00:42:07.560 It's why the word Trump is the most frequent word uttered at the convention, because that's what they're all unified.

00:42:19.640 Those two things are going to motivate a lot of Democrats.
00:42:22.380 And we got to make sure that the American people are focused on the issues, focused on the policy, focused on the substance, focused on the utter failures of Kamala Harris and Joe Biden's policies and how they've hurt the American people.
