00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.700 Guaranteed human.
00:00:04.560 Senator, nice to be with you as always.
00:00:06.800 Joe Biden thought it was a good idea this week to head to a college campus,
00:00:10.080 give one of those grand commencement speeches,
00:00:12.100 and throw Israel under the bus in the process all to gain votes of young people.
00:00:16.640 Well, it really is sad.
00:00:18.240 Every day, every week, we see the Democrats getting worse and worse.
00:00:21.340 They are abandoning Israel in the droves, and they are embracing Hamas,
00:00:24.780 and they're doing it because they think they get political advantage.
00:00:27.140 They're doing it because that's where their radical base is.
00:00:29.820 We're going to talk about that, but we're also going to talk about legislation that I filed this week
00:00:34.340 to force every Democrat in the Senate to vote and to choose between Israel and Hamas.
00:00:39.860 Where do you stand?
00:00:41.060 We're going to force them and get them on record.
00:00:43.220 We're also going to talk about major legislation that I'm filing today, actually, in the U.S. Senate
00:00:47.860 concerning IVF, in vitro fertilization, protecting IVF.
00:00:52.620 IVF is an incredibly powerful technology that has enabled millions of parents to have children,
00:00:58.280 and right now the Democrats are engaged in a lot of political deception and attacks
00:01:02.760 suggesting IVF is in jeopardy.
00:01:05.740 I'm filing legislation today to ensure that IVF is federally protected no matter what.
00:01:12.840 And finally, we're going to talk about the Trump trial.
00:01:15.000 We're going to talk about the absolute circus that is unplaying in New York
00:01:18.980 and the fact that the media is getting nervous.
00:01:21.080 They're getting scared that their planned kangaroo court might not turn out the way they want.
00:01:28.660 We're going to get into that as well.
00:01:30.280 I want to tell you about our friends over at Blackout Coffee.

00:03:09.800 Senator, let's really get into this week.
00:03:11.680 I think it's fair to say that Joe Biden proved to the American people
00:03:15.160 there is nothing he's not willing to do to undermine Israel
00:03:18.720 if it means getting the 30, 35, and under vote that is upset with him over standing with Israel early on
00:03:25.460 to stick with him through Election Day.
00:03:27.820 And it got a lot worse this week.
00:03:30.100 Well, that's right.
00:03:31.460 The Democrats more and more are captive of the pro-Hamas wing of their Democrat Party.
00:03:36.440 And pause for a second and reflect on how utterly insane it is that there is such a thing as a pro-Hamas wing of a major political party in America.
00:03:46.480 But that's the simple reality.
00:03:48.300 And young people in particular, look, this is the consequence of our universities being twisted and taken over by the radical left,
00:03:58.200 taken over by the cultural Marxists who are poisoning our young people.
00:04:02.460 It's what I wrote about in my latest book, Unwoke, How to Defeat Cultural Marxism in America.
00:04:07.240 But these young people are being taught that Palestinians are victims and that Jews are oppressors
00:04:13.740 and that the answer is violence and revolution against the so-called oppressors.
00:04:19.160 And it's absolute vicious lies.
00:04:21.680 But unfortunately, in the Democrat Party, it seems there are no adults.
00:04:25.400 There is no one who will actually stand up and point out there's not a moral equivalency
00:04:30.500 between Hamas terrorists murdering civilians and raping children
00:04:34.680 and the IDF attacking and killing terrorists to protect civilians.
00:04:41.060 Those are not the same.
00:04:42.860 One is evil and one is good.
00:04:46.120 There is no Democrat.
00:04:47.260 Joe Biden's not capable of that clarity.
00:04:49.620 And so instead, he went this past week to Morehouse College and take a listen to what he had to say.
00:04:57.000 Innocent Palestinians caught in the middle of all this.
00:05:00.500 Men, women, and children killed or displaced in the spite and desperate need of water, food, and medicine.
00:05:08.440 It's a humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
00:05:11.720 That's why I've called for an immediate ceasefire.
00:05:14.980 An immediate ceasefire to stop the fighting.
00:05:17.580 To be clear, he's saying, Israel, stop defending yourself.
00:05:21.020 Stop killing the terrorists that came after you.
00:05:23.780 You know where many of them are.
00:05:25.060 You're continuing to try to find them and kill them
00:05:27.120 because you understand that they're going to keep coming after you if you don't kill them.
00:05:31.680 They've declared war on you.
00:05:32.960 And he's saying, hey, ceasefire.
00:05:35.120 And it's really a talk to Israel, not so much Hamas.
00:05:38.220 Well, it's actually a talk to American radicals.
00:05:40.620 It's a talk to young people.
00:05:41.820 Great point.
00:05:42.080 And listen, Joe Biden, you listen to what he just said there.
00:05:46.800 You know, if someone didn't know anything, they'd be like, gosh, why did Israel attack those poor, helpless people?
00:05:52.960 Well, there was this thing called October 7th that somehow doesn't seem to be very relevant to Joe Biden or the Democrats' calculus,
00:05:59.460 where Hamas terrorists deliberately carried out the greatest mass murder of Jews in a single day since the Holocaust.
00:06:07.500 They deliberately targeted civilians.
00:06:09.700 They targeted children.
00:06:11.160 They mutilated corpses.
00:06:13.340 It was horrific.
00:06:16.100 Those Hamas terrorists are monsters.
00:06:18.740 And Israel responded quite naturally, quite rightly, by saying it was going to utterly eradicate Hamas.
00:06:26.460 Understand, Israel is not attacking civilians.
00:06:28.560 Israel is attacking Hamas terrorists.
00:06:31.000 Now, there are civilian casualties.
00:06:33.940 Those civilian casualties happen because Hamas wants them to happen, because they use human shields.
00:06:39.680 They use Palestinian civilians.
00:06:41.740 They hide the terrorists.
00:06:43.440 They put their headquarters in Gaza in the basement of a hospital to use Palestinian mothers and babies as human shields.
00:06:50.100 They put missiles in the basements of elementary schools to use Palestinian children as human shields.
00:06:56.780 And it is Hamas that wants Palestinian civilian casualties.
00:07:02.160 Why?
00:07:02.660 Because useful idiots like Joe Biden and the rest of the Democrat Party and the rest of the liars in the corporate media will then say what Joe Biden just said,
00:07:11.200 which is Israel is the bad guy.
00:07:12.720 And Hamas lies a lot.
00:07:15.060 And I think that's part of what people really need to understand.
00:07:17.620 Hamas lied about the attack on the hospital, for example, early on.
00:07:21.280 And they said that Israel bombed the hospital.
00:07:23.320 We found out it was a rocket that Hamas shot and a rocket that basically misfired, landed in the parking lot, blew up in that parking lot.
00:07:30.040 Thank goodness it didn't actually hit the hospital itself.
00:07:32.780 Yeah, it was reported there were 500 casualties in the hospital.
00:07:35.400 It turns out there were zero.
00:07:36.560 I understand zero and 500 are often confused.
00:07:39.300 It was reported that Israel fired the rocket.
00:07:41.740 That's kind of sort of right, except it was actually Palestinian Islamic Jihad.
00:07:44.920 Yeah.
00:07:45.440 And actually it was fired from inside Gaza.
00:07:47.680 And understand, look, Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad, they don't have technology.
00:07:51.960 So Israel uses smart bombs, bombs that are targeted so that when they're aiming at a terrorist, they hit the terrorist.
00:07:58.480 Hamas does not.
00:07:59.360 Hamas fires thousands and thousands of rockets that have no guidance.
00:08:03.260 Yeah.
00:08:03.440 They're basically a tube.
00:08:04.420 That way is Israel.
00:08:05.160 A tube with some propellant and some explosive and often shrapnel to kill civilians.
00:08:10.160 And they'll fire it up in a general direction.
00:08:13.120 But a substantial percentage of the rockets Hamas fires end up hitting Gaza because they don't know where it's going.
00:08:20.160 They're just throwing them in the air.
00:08:21.660 And by the way, they're also not aiming at military targets.
00:08:25.140 It's not like they're aiming in Israel and saying those are soldiers, let's shoot at them.
00:08:29.740 They just fire them in the direction of Israel.
00:08:31.940 And their view is if I'm killing Jews.
00:08:34.080 It's good.
00:08:34.880 It's a good rocket.
00:08:35.880 Hamas is happy if we are murdering Jews.
00:08:38.620 Well, and Hamas lies about their numbers.
00:08:40.340 Yes.
00:08:40.720 John Kirby at the White House this week, he gave numbers.
00:08:43.940 He was asked about numbers.
00:08:45.400 Numbers that have multiple times been proven to be lies from Hamas about their casualties, civilian casualties specifically, trying to turn the world against Israel.
00:08:53.380 And yet he's taking these numbers as if they are truth.
00:08:56.880 Take a look at him at the White House.
00:08:58.560 I have a question about the death toll in Gaza.
00:09:01.460 Does President Biden have confidence in the casualty numbers coming out of Gaza?
00:09:05.360 The president watches this very, very closely.
00:09:08.940 And you've heard him talk about the more than 30,000 people that have been killed.
00:09:14.540 And he said the majority are women and children.
00:09:17.660 He's also said that's unacceptable.
00:09:18.980 And as we've maintained time and time again, the right number of civilian casualties ought
00:09:24.180 to be zero.
00:09:25.260 But in terms of, you know, what specific number we're quoting or citing on any given day, I
00:09:30.900 mean, we're doing the best we can working with the Israelis to ascertain the scope of
00:09:35.000 the civilian suffering.
00:09:35.840 But it's obviously immense.
00:09:37.160 Has his confidence in the numbers coming out of Gaza increased since late October when
00:09:40.980 he said he had no confidence in the numbers?
00:09:42.700 You've heard the president talk about the numbers and talk about the concern.
00:09:46.980 And the most important thing, aside from obviously how tragic that is, is what we're doing to
00:09:53.380 alleviate and help improve conditions in Gaza, including through this temporary period of
00:09:58.580 the day.
00:09:59.180 This is how much they're pandering.
00:10:00.580 It was the numbers are terrible.
00:10:01.820 We don't trust them.
00:10:02.620 They're lying to us.
00:10:03.500 But now, well, we need these numbers to be somewhat high so we can justify demanding a
00:10:07.800 ceasefire from Israel.
00:10:08.620 Well, you know, it's interesting as you listen to John Kirby, have you noticed that Corrine
00:10:12.700 Jean-Pierre has been utterly sidelined?
00:10:14.660 Yeah.
00:10:15.060 That she's a terrible liar.
00:10:17.020 And I'll give Kirby credit.
00:10:17.900 He's a much better liar than she is.
00:10:19.360 He's much more skilled at it.
00:10:20.860 He sounds more reasonable as he's sitting there repeating Hamas's propaganda.
00:10:26.140 And he says, well, you've heard Joe Biden do it many times.
00:10:29.140 Yes, that's the problem.
00:10:30.520 Joe Biden amplifies Hamas propaganda.
00:10:33.400 And that is part of the strategy.
00:10:35.420 That's something we've talked about on this podcast a lot.
00:10:37.540 Hamas's strategy.
00:10:39.200 They are not strong enough alone to defeat Israel.
00:10:42.320 Their strategy is to put out lies and also to use human shields to have Palestinian civilian
00:10:48.000 casualties that Hamas wants.
00:10:51.080 In fact, when Palestinian civilians try to flee harm's way, Hamas will stop them and say,
00:10:54.920 no, we need you there to die.
00:10:57.400 And the reason they do it is they know the useful idiots will repeat it.
00:11:02.260 Look, listen to Joe Biden back again at his commencement address.
00:11:05.880 What rights do the Palestinian people have?
00:11:10.400 I'm working to make sure we finally get a two-state solution.
00:11:14.020 The only solution.
00:11:15.660 The only solution, Senator.
00:11:17.500 So the only solution is if the terrorists are involved, they got to have their own state.
00:11:21.960 And we got to keep saying this no matter what Hamas does, no matter how horrific the next
00:11:26.200 attack is, they have to have a two-state solution.
00:11:29.020 And that's it.
00:11:29.500 And he said it out loud.
00:11:30.400 He said what we've been implying here for quite some time, that this is the president
00:11:34.040 of the United States of America undermining Israel every chance he gets.
00:11:37.180 And that has happened literally from day one when Joe Biden was sworn in.
00:11:40.780 Understand, Joe Biden has spent his entire career in public life, over 50 years, consistently
00:11:46.700 undermining Israel.
00:11:47.800 This has been constant.
00:11:48.740 Now, the media repeats, oh, Biden's a friend of Israel.
00:11:51.340 Look, you and I talked about in this pod before how in 1982, when I was 11 years old and you
00:11:58.920 were an infant, Joe Biden was threatening to cut off weapons to Israel in 1982 in the Senate.
00:12:05.920 He has been doing this a long, long time.
00:12:08.860 When he came into the White House, they systematically attacked Israel.
00:12:12.820 They also funneled over $100 billion to Iran.
00:12:17.240 They funded Iran.
00:12:18.960 They funded Hamas.
00:12:20.860 Now, they funded Hamas both through Iran because 90 percent of Hamas's funding comes from Iran.
00:12:24.880 They funded Hezbollah through Iran because 90 percent of Hezbollah's funding comes from
00:12:28.680 Iran.
00:12:29.120 But they also sent hundreds of millions of dollars to Gaza, which they knew would go directly
00:12:35.060 to Hamas and be used for terror killings.
00:12:37.400 Joe Biden, which he somehow didn't tell this to the college kids in the commencement address,
00:12:42.680 in a very real sense funded the death squads that murdered Jews.
00:12:46.820 And you know what? Some of those radicals, if he told them, I paid for the October 7th death
00:12:51.680 squads, some of those campus radicals would cheer for that.
00:12:54.780 Yeah.
00:12:55.080 Because if you look at what they're cheering on their takeover on campuses, they are cheering
00:12:59.500 the mass murder.
00:13:00.620 They are promising from the river, the sea more October 7th, October 7th every day.
00:13:05.780 Now, here's some good news, which is we are going to force Senate Democrats to go on record.
00:13:13.320 So this past week, the House of Representatives passed legislation to force Joe Biden to provide
00:13:20.920 the weapons to Israel that it needs to defend itself.
00:13:23.800 Now, remember, Joe Biden lied to the American people and lied to Congress when we were having
00:13:27.040 the big fight over the supplemental a couple of weeks ago.
00:13:29.600 He said, we got to do this to get weapons to Israel.
00:13:31.500 As soon as Congress passes it, what did he do?
00:13:34.960 He said, oh, we're not going to give weapons to Israel.
00:13:36.780 Psych!
00:13:37.280 I mean, he's like Charlie Brown with Lucy and the football.
00:13:39.640 That's exactly what he's done.
00:13:41.520 So he is blocking the weapons to Israel.
00:13:44.920 And by the way, listen to John Kirby.
00:13:46.180 He's still blocking them.
00:13:47.540 Give John Kirby a listen.
00:13:48.940 It's not a withholding.
00:13:50.240 There was a pause put in place on a shipment of 2,000 pound bombs.
00:13:57.200 And that pause is still in place.
00:13:59.060 So it's still in place.
00:14:00.520 And by the way, do you know what they're freezing?
00:14:03.300 The precision guided munitions, what actually lets them hit the terrorists and not civilians.
00:14:09.040 So understand, because the Biden White House is so unhappy about civilian deaths, they want
00:14:14.100 to take away the precision guided munitions that allow Israel to avoid hitting civilians
00:14:18.640 and only hit terrorists.
00:14:19.580 These are a bunch of Israel-hating left-wing radicals that are setting government policy.
00:14:30.440 The House passed legislation this past week that would force the Biden administration
00:14:35.340 to provide the weapons that Congress has already appropriated and directed to be given.
00:14:40.940 Now, in the House, virtually every single House Democrat voted no.
00:14:44.720 It was very close to a party-line vote.
00:14:47.200 Let's come over to the Senate.
00:14:48.060 What do you think is going to happen in the Senate?
00:14:49.660 I'm assuming Schumer is going to say, we don't like any of this.
00:14:52.360 Schumer has already said he will not allow a vote.
00:14:54.700 So understand, Chuck Schumer, if Joe Biden is the greatest friend Hamas and Hezbollah has
00:15:01.400 ever had, Chuck Schumer is the second greatest friend Hamas and Hezbollah has ever had.
00:15:05.680 And by the way...
00:15:06.200 And historically, Schumer has always said, oh, I'm an Israel guy.
00:15:08.460 He's defined himself as the defender of Israel.
00:15:11.720 Yeah.
00:15:12.240 And he is right now defending Hamas and supporting Joe Biden in cutting off weapons to Israel.
00:15:20.560 Like Chuck Schumer, the language and words he said for 30 years are all being turned on their head
00:15:27.860 because Schumer, just like Biden, just like the rest of the Democrats, is terrified of the radical left that is their base.
00:15:35.000 Now, Schumer as majority leader controls whether we have votes.
00:15:38.880 He said, I will not allow a vote on what the House has passed to force the weapons to be delivered to Israel.
00:15:44.840 Here's the good news.
00:15:46.960 Last week, I filed two different pieces of legislation.
00:15:49.680 One, legislation in the Senate to force the Biden administration to provide those weapons to Israel.
00:15:55.580 It's called the ARM Act.
00:15:56.720 Now, Schumer's not going to allow a vote on that either.
00:15:59.060 He doesn't want to vote on that.
00:15:59.920 But secondly, I filed what is called a War Powers Resolution, focusing on the Biden administration
00:16:08.000 that has built this floating pier in Gaza, several hundred million dollars.
00:16:11.960 It sent the military in to build the floating pier.
00:16:14.460 The purpose of the pier is to be able to fund, quote, aid to Gaza, to Hamas.
00:16:19.380 They basically have built this so that they can get supplies to Hamas, because Joe Biden is very focused on resupplying Hamas while he's boycotting Israel.
00:16:30.100 Now, why does it matter that it's a War Powers Resolution?
00:16:33.680 Because the legislation, the War Powers Act, has a provision that makes a War Powers Resolution privileged.
00:16:42.020 Now, that sounds like a lot of Senate gobbledygook.
00:16:44.400 But it's important.
00:16:45.120 What it means is I can force a vote and Schumer can't stop it, that the majority leader has no ability to stop a vote once you file a War Powers Resolution,
00:16:55.280 because what it's focusing on is cutting off U.S. military action without congressional authorization.
00:17:01.580 And in this case, the military is who Biden used to build the pier.
00:17:04.640 And by the way, Biden is saying to Israel right now, hey, the Israeli military has got to protect this pier that we built.
00:17:13.120 You've got to risk Israeli soldiers to protect the pier that is there to resupply Hamas.
00:17:19.540 And we're going to have U.S. soldiers also in harm's way.
00:17:22.700 So the War Powers Resolution, within two weeks, we will have a vote on the Senate floor.
00:17:28.020 And Schumer has no means of stopping it.
00:17:30.120 By the way, it's also a vote at a threshold of 50 and not 60, which means if two Democrats actually decided they supported Israel,
00:17:38.480 we could prevail and pass my resolution on the floor of the Senate.
00:17:41.980 So a guy like John Fetterman, for example, who's been very outspoken on Israel, is somebody that you could say, hey, you never know.
00:17:48.460 Look, I'm going to try.
00:17:49.700 I don't know how he'll vote.
00:17:51.320 But this is a vote.
00:17:54.440 The Biden administration's policy is they've decided they support Hamas and not Israel.
00:17:59.360 That is exactly backwards what any rational policy would be.
00:18:03.920 This vote I'm going to force is going to let every Senate Democrat decide which side are you on.
00:18:07.900 Do you want to support Hamas or do you want to support Israel?
00:18:10.460 Now, my prediction is we'll lose on a party line vote or close to party line vote.
00:18:15.600 That I think the Democrats are quite happy today being the party that supports Hamas, that they agree with what Joe Biden told those college kids.
00:18:24.460 And that's because their data says if you want to get reelected, you need younger voters and they're afraid they're going to stay home if they don't go anti-Israel.
00:18:31.460 Yeah.
00:18:31.860 Look, part of it is political.
00:18:34.120 Part of it is, as we've talked about a lot of times, Trump broke the Democrat Party.
00:18:39.820 Their minds have melted and as a result, they are now on the hard, hard left.
00:18:47.360 And the cultural Marxist worldview divides the world into oppressors and victims.
00:18:52.920 And today's Democrats believe Jews are oppressors.
00:18:56.840 And importantly, Ben, I did not say Israelis.
00:18:59.400 Yeah, great point.
00:19:00.820 If you look at what the radicals on campus are chanting, they're chanting about Jews.
00:19:05.560 At the University of Washington, the radicals yelled, go back to the ovens.
00:19:12.360 I mean, that's evil.
00:19:13.700 It is grotesque.
00:19:15.340 But that is what they are calling for.
00:19:18.340 You recall, we talked about this on an early podcast, the protest at Columbia, where you had this Columbia student, this blonde white girl,
00:19:28.120 who apparently is the daughter of multimillionaires, who was wearing a mask and holding up a sign with an arrow pointed at Jewish students behind her,
00:19:37.520 waving an Israeli flag and an American flag.
00:19:39.420 And she said, Al Qasem's next target.
00:19:41.820 Al Qasem is the military arm of Hamas.
00:19:44.280 She was calling for the murder of fellow students because they are Jewish.
00:19:49.780 Let me point out, as far as we know, the Columbia students waving the Israeli flag were not themselves Israeli.
00:19:56.520 But it didn't matter to her.
00:19:58.360 If they were Jews, they should be murdered.
00:20:00.980 And she was, by all appearances, not Middle Eastern.
00:20:04.020 She wasn't Palestinian.
00:20:05.460 She's just a blonde white liberal who's been told Jews are oppressors, so they should be killed.
00:20:12.000 It is a sickness that, sadly, many of the administrators and many of the faculty not only agreed with,
00:20:21.840 they are the ones who created the sickness, who inculcated the students, who taught the students this garbage.
00:20:29.100 There are a lot of you that listen to the show that have been asking the question,
00:20:32.640 how can I get involved and help the people in need in Israel?
00:20:36.080 Well, right now, there are major needs in Israel.
00:20:38.660 And IFCJ, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, is on the ground right now helping those in need.
00:20:46.200 You may not realize, but there are still many parts of Israel that are under attack.
00:20:50.180 And there are many people that have had to move out of their homes altogether.
00:20:53.200 There's also another major need, and that is for bomb shelters.
00:20:57.360 And IFCJ right now is installing these temporary bomb shelters all over Israel.
00:21:03.280 Because when that moment happens and you need to get to a shelter,
00:21:06.660 you have about 15 to 20 seconds to get there.
00:21:10.680 So if you want to get involved and help the people in Israel, go to supportifcj.org to give.
00:21:17.300 That's one word, supportifcj.org.
00:21:21.180 What's amazing is what they're doing.
00:21:23.400 They're providing life-saving emergency supplies for 20 people that can huddle in a bomb shelter.
00:21:29.600 And the cost to put that together and distribute these life-saving kits is about $290 each.
00:21:36.100 And your gift will help save lives.
00:21:38.600 Thanks to a matching challenge gift from a generous IFCJ supporter,
00:21:43.460 your gift right now will be doubled in impact to help provide twice the support.
00:21:48.600 So if you want to call, you can do that as well.
00:21:51.380 888-488-IFCJ.
00:21:55.000 That's 888-488-IFCJ.
00:21:59.260 Or go online to supportifcj.org to give right now.
00:22:04.580 That's one word, supportifcj.org.
00:22:08.000 Final question on this.
00:22:09.500 You know, Bebe, you understand Israel right now.
00:22:11.820 How concerned are they about not getting these munitions and being paused?
00:22:14.960 And how long could this pause last?
00:22:16.700 Look, I think Israel will fight and will continue to fight to defeat Hamas regardless of what Biden does.
00:22:22.720 Israel is a strong nation with a strong industrial base, and they'll continue fighting.
00:22:27.760 This is about domestic politics for the Democrats.
00:22:30.400 This is about Michigan.
00:22:31.460 This is about Nevada.
00:22:32.480 This is about Dearborn, Michigan.
00:22:34.600 This is about young people.
00:22:37.060 There's a reason Biden went to a college campus to give this speech, because he's trying to speak to the radicals, the people that are waving Hezbollah flags, sadly, at my alma mater, Princeton.
00:22:49.700 That's whose votes Biden wants.
00:22:51.740 That's whose votes the Democrats want.
00:22:54.040 And nobody speaks with any clarity.
00:22:56.200 He didn't stand up and say, let me tell you right now, if you threaten the safety of another student,
00:23:00.300 if you threaten to harm someone because he or she is Jewish, you will be arrested, you will be prosecuted, you should be expelled, and if you're a foreign student, you will be deported.
00:23:11.720 That's actually what a real president would do.
00:23:13.960 He didn't do what Dwight D. Eisenhower did when bigoted Democrats, and by the way, it was Democrats then, too, would not let African Americans be integrated into school.
00:23:25.180 Dwight D. Eisenhower sent in the National Guard.
00:23:27.620 Joe Biden hadn't sent in the National Guard.
00:23:29.020 Joe Biden hadn't sent in the Civil Rights Department to protect the rights of Jewish students.
00:23:33.540 He hasn't sent in the FBI to investigate the foreign funding.
00:23:38.200 We've talked about in recent podcasts the Chinese communist funding behind this, the Cuban communist funding behind this.
00:23:43.800 Also, how much is this tied up with international terrorist networks?
00:23:49.920 He's not investigating any of this.
00:23:51.520 Instead, when given a choice, Joe Biden and the Democrats choose Hamas over Israel.
00:23:57.100 It's tragic.
00:23:57.620 Canadian women are looking for more.
00:24:00.180 More out of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them.
00:24:04.640 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.
00:24:08.280 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:24:09.540 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:24:10.760 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women.
00:24:14.520 Entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians, and newsmakers.
00:24:18.080 All at different stages of their journey.
00:24:19.960 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:24:23.500 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:24:27.560 I want to move on to something else that also is really important.
00:24:33.080 There's been a lot of conversation around IVF, protecting IVF.
00:24:37.500 My three kids are from in vitro.
00:24:40.140 Without it, I don't think we would have the family we have now.
00:24:42.840 It allowed us to have a family.
00:24:44.500 And it is such an important issue.
00:24:47.740 You understand that and are moving forward with some really, I say, cool legislation, bipartisan to protect IVF.
00:24:56.840 And that's going to be coming up.
00:24:57.920 Tell us about that and how this came about.
00:24:59.540 Well, look, the broader context, this really started to become a political issue when the Alabama Supreme Court issued a decision a couple of months ago.
00:25:06.660 And that case concerned a couple who had used IVF and had frozen embryos.
00:25:12.940 And the clinic negligently allowed those embryos to be destroyed.
00:25:17.180 So they were supposed to preserve those embryos.
00:25:19.100 And the clinic screwed up.
00:25:20.860 And so the couple was in a lawsuit.
00:25:23.120 And the Alabama Supreme Court concluded that the embryos should be protected.
00:25:28.080 And what happened was, look, that was a decision protecting the rights of parents to have IVF.
00:25:34.200 But the media proceeded to go nuts and to say, oh, well, this is the Alabama Supreme Court saying you can't do IVF.
00:25:41.360 And then the Democrats leapt on it.
00:25:43.420 And it became a major national issue that this is all about Republicans want to ban IVF, which is a flat-out and total lie.
00:25:51.740 And my view, I strongly and unequivocally support IVF.
00:25:55.300 I think IVF is an incredible technology.
00:25:58.280 You know, Ben, it's amazing.
00:25:59.900 Two percent of all live births in America are through IVF.
00:26:03.880 Yeah.
00:26:04.600 Millions of babies have been brought into the world, have seen life.
00:26:08.560 Millions of parents have become moms and dads because of IVF.
00:26:12.500 It is an amazing technology.
00:26:13.960 And I strongly support it.
00:26:16.060 And the Democrats made a very cynical political decision, which is, listen, for today, for Democrats, abortion is front and center.
00:26:25.560 After hating Israel, it may be their most important issue.
00:26:28.540 But Democrats also realize their position on abortion is wildly unpopular.
00:26:35.100 Democrats support unlimited abortion with zero restrictions, partial birth abortion, right up until the moment of delivery.
00:26:42.240 That is so radical and extreme.
00:26:44.560 Only nine percent of Americans agree with that.
00:26:46.380 Ninety one percent of Americans say that's too much.
00:26:49.700 So Democrats can't defend their actual position.
00:26:53.920 By the way, that is the position of every single Democrat in the Senate because they voted in favor of legislation striking down every single restriction on abortion right up until the moment of birth.
00:27:03.640 So what they do instead is they want to talk about IVF and they want to say, ooh, the big bad Republicans want to take away IVF.
00:27:11.360 And so they engage deliberately in deception.
00:27:15.400 And then the corporate media is eagerly complicit in doing so because they share the same radical views on abortion that they don't want to talk about the radical views.
00:27:26.060 So they want to talk instead about IVF.
00:27:28.040 Well, today I've introduced legislation in the Senate called the IVF Protection Act.
00:27:32.100 I teamed up with Katie Britt, senator from Alabama.
00:27:35.680 She's a good friend.
00:27:36.480 The two of us have drafted it.
00:27:37.860 It's very simple legislation.
00:27:39.680 It's straightforward.
00:27:40.920 And it says that no state or local government can ban IVF, that IVF is fully protected at the federal level, that it will be a decision of parents.
00:27:51.120 If you want to have children using IVF, that will be a federally protected right.
00:27:56.560 This bill should be easily a bipartisan bill.
00:28:01.260 Now, this bill, if enacted and written into law, would put into law the protections that protect.
00:28:08.620 Look, your kids came through IVF.
00:28:13.120 What did that mean to you?
00:28:14.980 What did that mean for your family?
00:28:16.260 I mean, it got to be a father and my wife got to be a mother.
00:28:19.380 And we tried for four years to have kids.
00:28:21.440 And you keep going to doctors and you keep going to these visits.
00:28:24.120 And then finally, like, look, we think probably your only option is going to be IVF.
00:28:27.420 Let's hope this works.
00:28:28.620 And and we went through it and we prayed.
00:28:30.920 And you save money because it wasn't covered by insurance.
00:28:33.340 It's very expensive.
00:28:34.800 And it was one of those.
00:28:36.380 It was probably the hardest time, I think, in our life, in our marriage, because, you know, my wife wanted to be a mom.
00:28:42.480 Yeah, that's.
00:28:43.440 And when you go, that's a huge part of both of your lives and everything, your legacy, as much as you do in life, nothing will be important than the children you raise and the legacy that goes forward.
00:28:56.840 Yeah.
00:28:57.080 And you've got to protect it.
00:28:58.280 I'm thankful that you're doing this.
00:29:00.000 I'm thankful that you're teaming up.
00:29:01.240 I hope that Democrats will say this is a nonpolitical issue and we should push for this because everybody needs to be able to have this and that right and be protected.
00:29:11.000 Have you heard from Democrats?
00:29:12.340 Are they going to get on board?
00:29:13.700 Because this doesn't seem political to me.
00:29:15.620 I know so many people that have voted for Joe Biden that have done IVF.
00:29:19.020 Of course.
00:29:19.320 Voted for Bernie Sanders that did IVF.
00:29:21.100 It's not political.
00:29:22.180 It's wanting to have a family.
00:29:23.540 So we filed the legislation today.
00:29:25.820 Today, Katie Britt and I have an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal.
00:29:28.460 So you should go and read the op-ed we wrote in the Wall Street Journal.
00:29:31.080 It's in today's journal.
00:29:32.920 Today, I'm in New York on Monday.
00:29:36.780 I'm going to be in New York City with Katie.
00:29:38.340 We're going to do a number of media interviews starting early in the morning.
00:29:40.820 Talking about this legislation.
00:29:43.100 I think it is really important legislation.
00:29:46.100 This should be legislation that passes the Senate 100 to nothing.
00:29:51.200 Every senator agrees with the substantive policy.
00:29:54.680 Katie and I are going to try to pass it.
00:29:56.100 And we're going to go to the Senate floor and seek to pass it.
00:29:58.780 And what I do not know is if the Democrats will block it.
00:30:02.620 And if they block it, it would be, even for today's Democrat Party, an incredibly cynical move.
00:30:09.960 Because what it would be is the Democrats saying, you know what?
00:30:13.720 We want to have the issue.
00:30:15.380 We want to accuse Republicans of trying to ban IVF.
00:30:18.940 And so we're going to prevent you from protecting IVF.
00:30:22.940 So we can say you want to ban it.
00:30:24.020 So then we can falsely claim you want to ban it.
00:30:26.460 That would be the only conceivable reason the Democrats could object is if they do not want to protect IVF.
00:30:32.880 Now, the Democrats have their own bill that they claim is about IVF.
00:30:36.820 But it actually is an abortion bill focused on their broader abortion agenda.
00:30:40.400 And they know that.
00:30:41.040 This is a very narrow bill that puts in clear, ironclad protections for IVF.
00:30:48.180 As I said, every senator, Republican, and Democrat agrees with that policy.
00:30:53.160 So the only question is, will the Democrats play politics so much that they will oppose a policy that they agree with because they don't want to give up on the issue?
00:31:02.480 I don't know.
00:31:03.800 I hope not.
00:31:04.660 But we'll see.
00:31:05.560 We'll see what the Democrat reaction to it is.
00:31:07.640 Is this one of those moments where verdict listeners, people that share the show on social media, should definitely reach out to their senators and say, hey, this is a nonpartisan, nonpolitical issue.
00:31:18.260 We're asking you to support it and call with that spirit in mind to their senator no matter where they live.
00:31:23.380 Absolutely, yes.
00:31:24.400 Look, this is something IVF has support.
00:31:26.980 Nearly 90 percent of Americans support IVF.
00:31:29.640 IVF is profoundly pro-family.
00:31:31.920 It is a miracle.
00:31:33.740 Look, for most of human history, if parents are not able to conceive, they're just left childless and in sorrow.
00:31:42.600 And it is through the miracles of science that parents who struggle with infertility are able to be moms and dads and raise babies and children.
00:31:54.160 That is a wonderful, beautiful thing.
00:31:56.720 And I hope we see some bipartisan unity the next week or two.
00:32:02.920 We'll find out.
00:32:03.900 Senator, I hope you have great success on this bill.
00:32:05.980 We're going to keep everybody updated on it as it moves forward.
00:32:08.700 Finally, I do have to call out the media.
00:32:11.760 This week was one heck of a week in New York City where you're headed.
00:32:15.120 And it made me laugh because the media now seems to be hedging their bets that Donald Trump may win in a New York court because of the disaster that's been this trial with Bragg at the end and with Cohen to the point where even CNN said this.
00:32:30.600 Take a look.
00:32:31.220 If I'm a juror, I've been warned that Michael Cohen lies.
00:32:34.400 The prosecutors have said this.
00:32:35.880 They've set it up.
00:32:36.660 I'm prepared for that.
00:32:37.620 I'm prepared for he's lied in the past repeatedly.
00:32:41.620 I don't know if a jury is prepared for he lied to this jury two days ago, but now he's really telling the truth.
00:32:49.700 If you have a cooperating witness that can't tell the truth at a plea allocution, that means that that witness is basically worthless.
00:32:56.180 He testified he lied to the judge in this prior case.
00:33:00.120 And then Todd Blanch is cross-examination.
00:33:01.980 So basically, whenever you get into a problem, it's always blame somebody else, blame President Trump, blame the judge.
00:33:07.860 How many places do you have to go where this guy has lied many times under oath and it's always somebody else's fault?
00:33:14.260 It's not his fault.
00:33:15.260 And that's pretty powerful evidence to a jury to say you shouldn't believe anything this guy says.
00:33:20.260 And if you have to rely on his testimony in any fashion whatsoever in order to convict Donald Trump, i.e., in order to fix Donald Trump's intent, you have a reasonable doubt.
00:33:29.640 You can't have anything else but a reasonable doubt.
00:33:32.460 Seven people are on that panel.
00:33:34.680 Seven.
00:33:35.160 And this is how they've been covering the Trump trial the entire time.
00:33:37.640 It's the center of the world for Democrats.
00:33:39.760 They want him to be guilty.
00:33:41.240 They've gone all in with their most brilliant minds.
00:33:43.400 And now at the very end, they're like, yeah, it's probably not going to happen because this guy's a liar and the whole case is a joke.
00:33:48.060 Look, they are obsessed with the Trump trial.
00:33:51.380 CNN covers it from dawn to dusk, constantly, breathlessly.
00:33:56.180 They get so excited when Stormy Daniels is on the stand and talking about sex with the president.
00:34:01.160 You know, that makes their cold little hearts go pitter-pats at CNN.
00:34:07.020 But it says something when even CNN is like, wow, this case is weak.
00:34:12.760 And it only takes one.
00:34:13.740 They are getting very, very nervous.
00:34:16.940 And here, play the second clip.
00:34:19.280 Anderson, let me ask you if I can put you in the jury box.
00:34:22.060 Having just witnessed that piece of cross-examination, do you have doubts that that conversation happened the way Michael Cohen testified on his direct examination?
00:34:30.620 I think it's devastating for Michael Cohen's credibility on this one particular topic, whether it's, you know, he just didn't.
00:34:42.800 I mean, it's hard to, I don't know.
00:34:46.480 Yes, I think if I was a juror in this case watching that, I would think this guy's making this up as he's going along.
00:34:53.840 Or he's making this particular story up.
00:34:57.140 You know, Todd Blanche is pointing out, you were testifying just on Tuesday in this court.
00:35:02.360 You know, and all morning long, he's been pointing out, you know, inconsistencies in Michael Cohen's testimony, or at least questionable aspects of Michael Cohen's testimony.
00:35:14.000 But nothing that you would necessarily, as a juror, think, okay, that's clearly a lie.
00:35:19.920 Maybe that's just a, he was misunderstanding, or, you know, he was bragging, or whatever.
00:35:25.700 However, this one, Todd Blanche clearly saved this to right before the lunch break, I'm assuming, because it was just so well crafted.
00:35:36.340 And just point by point walking through this story, which at first seemed, you know, why, why, this seems like a ridiculous story.
00:35:43.340 Some 14-year-old is sending him, you know, nasty text messages, and he's going to call Keith Schiller about it.
00:35:48.860 And then you realize, you look at, he showed the phone logs that the prosecutor had shown, and it's the phone call that Michael Cohen had previously talked about.
00:35:58.080 I think it is severely damaging to Michael Cohen's testimony.
00:36:01.440 I mean, this has got to be, like, their worst day ever at CNN to watch this.
00:36:05.860 And they're sitting there going, look, Mike Cohen's a liar, the whole case is a sham.
00:36:08.880 Look, I'm actually wondering if CNN, like, if the hosts have become day drinkers now, like, if they're slamming back tequila shots.
00:36:15.460 The sadness that they're saying it.
00:36:18.740 Now, listen, to be clear, Trump could still be convicted.
00:36:22.520 Sure.
00:36:22.700 This is a wildly left-wing prosecutor.
00:36:24.680 This is a wildly left-wing judge.
00:36:26.580 And this is a jury drawn from a New York jury pool.
00:36:29.420 So, presumably, it is an overwhelmingly Democrat jury.
00:36:33.500 I don't believe any conviction, if there is one, will stand up on appeal.
00:36:37.900 But, look, given how bad things went, we could see an acquittal.
00:36:41.600 So, if you're like me and you love to go shooting, you're a hunter, maybe you just like to practice shooting,

00:38:50.840 Last question on this.
00:38:51.860 Will Trump be on the stand before the end of this trial?
00:38:54.880 Absolutely not.
00:38:56.680 Zero point zero zero zero percent chance.
00:38:59.700 Why?
00:39:00.600 Number one, the criminal defendant has no burden of proof.
00:39:03.900 It is the prosecution that has the burden of proof.
00:39:06.200 The prosecution has to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant committed the crime.
00:39:12.820 Number two, any defendant has a Fifth Amendment right protected in the Constitution not to testify at his own trial.
00:39:19.320 And most defendants choose not to.
00:39:21.520 But number three, for any lawyer to put Donald J. Trump on the stand under oath and to open him up to cross-examination, and by the way, cross-examination about damn near anything, particularly with a left-wing judge who's a partisan, who is not going to corral in the cross-examination, you are inviting disaster.
00:39:41.640 To be clear, there is no chance Donald Trump would be put on the stand.
00:39:45.400 It would be lunacy to do so.
00:39:48.540 I don't know if the Trump team will have other witnesses they put on or not.
00:39:51.740 They might.
00:39:52.200 They might not.
00:39:53.240 But it is an absolute certainty Trump will not be one of them.
00:39:56.920 And hopefully this circus will be over soon.
00:40:02.040 It only takes one brave juror to do the right thing here, that's for sure.
