00:00:42.460 And it got overshadowed because of the weather, obviously.

00:00:55.000 And let's start by saying to the people of North Carolina that are still suffering from

00:01:00.700 And Helene was a horrific hurricane.
00:01:03.880 There was enormous death and devastation.
00:01:06.640 And to the people of Florida that are suffering from Hurricane Milton.
00:01:10.740 And I know there are there we've had, I think, the latest death count is nine people have lost

00:01:16.880 There has been massive suffering.
00:01:19.660 I will say you and I are both Texans.
00:01:22.460 Texas understands full well the misery of hurricanes.
00:01:26.920 We faced hurricane after hurricane.
00:01:28.880 We faced suffering and death.
00:01:30.960 And I just want to say we are praying for the people of North Carolina and Florida and
00:01:36.260 everyone in harm's way, but especially those two states which bore the brunt of these two

00:01:40.600 We are praying for the first responders who we know are still rescuing people in harm's

00:01:48.880 And for the federal relief efforts from FEMA and HUD and the Small Business Administration,

00:02:00.600 And I will say, having come through Hurricane Harvey, which devastated Houston, you're in my
00:02:06.340 hometown and the entire Gulf Coast, and Rita and Ike and all of the different hurricanes
00:02:11.820 Texas has faced, our prayers are with the people who are suffering from these two hurricanes.
00:02:18.180 This podcast, we wanted to do something different, which is this past week was the one year anniversary
00:02:25.380 of October 7th.
00:02:26.820 And October 7th was truly a horrific day.

00:05:06.080 We're here today to remember one year ago the horror that the world saw unfold.
00:05:18.020 On October 7th, 365 days ago, genocidal Hamas terrorists entered southern Israel.
00:05:32.140 They went from kibbutz to kibbutz and from home to home, murdering virtually everyone they
00:05:43.560 found, deliberately targeting civilians, targeting the elderly, targeting women, targeting children
00:05:55.340 and even toddlers and infants.
00:05:59.420 And they murdered them for one reason, because they were Jewish.
00:06:07.420 October 7th is the single worst mass murder of Jews in a day since the Holocaust.
00:06:17.320 1,195 people were murdered on October 7th.
00:06:26.800 251 people were taken hostage on October 7th.
00:06:33.800 We saw terrorists using rape as a deliberate tool of terror.
00:06:42.340 Raping women, raping young girls.
00:06:52.820 I will tell you, I have had the horrible displeasure of watching videos of what unfolded on that day.
00:07:04.240 Videos from security cameras in Israel, videos from body cameras and cell phones that the Hamas terrorists took.
00:07:17.540 Understand what they did that day, they were not hiding.

00:07:24.500 They were there to murder and rape.

00:13:17.340 from the Office of Palestinian Affairs.
00:13:20.400 And it said,
00:13:23.440 Israel must not respond.
00:13:25.900 There must be no
00:13:26.880 military response whatsoever.
00:13:31.060 My team and I saw that
00:13:32.700 at 3 in the morning.
00:13:34.400 And we responded on Twitter
00:13:36.300 immediately.
00:13:38.140 And said,
00:13:38.920 this is disgraceful.
00:13:40.280 Whoever wrote it
00:13:41.080 should be fired
00:13:42.040 and it should be deleted immediately.

00:13:53.980 deleted the tweet.
00:13:56.780 The next day,

00:14:02.900 sent by some low-level staffer.
00:14:06.780 Because Tony Blinken,
00:14:08.180 the U.S. Secretary of State,

00:14:12.180 sent out a tweet.
00:14:13.600 And said,
00:14:14.800 I have just finished speaking
00:14:15.860 with the Turkish foreign minister.
00:14:18.160 And we have agreed
00:14:19.400 that Israel must not retaliate
00:14:21.420 and there must be
00:14:22.280 no military response whatsoever.

00:14:28.000 this is utterly disgraceful
