00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.540 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.720 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:09.780 Senator, we are getting really close to Election Day,
00:00:13.300 and the issue that Democrats don't want to talk about is
00:00:17.720 what has happened with the lack of border security,
00:00:21.760 really with wide open borders,
00:00:23.120 whether it's people on the terrorist watch list coming across,
00:00:25.500 whether it's criminals coming across that have been convicted of heinous crimes.
00:00:31.460 But we now have another example in Texas, and it's horrifying.
00:00:36.960 Well, it is. It happened in Dallas, Texas,
00:00:39.220 where a woman was terrified by four Venezuelan illegal immigrants
00:00:43.280 who broke into their home.
00:00:45.000 They beat her. They pistol whipped her.
00:00:46.980 It is a horrifying story,
00:00:48.480 and it is an example of what is unfolding every single day
00:00:53.260 as a result of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris's open borders.
00:00:57.320 We're also seeing child rapists being released, illegal immigrants,
00:01:04.380 and the human cost of illegal immigration
00:01:07.260 becomes more and more real every day.
00:01:10.480 We're going to break that down on the show.
00:01:12.040 We're also going to talk about Kamala Harris's disastrous series of media interviews.
00:01:18.400 She's decided, apparently, that Joe Biden's basement wasn't working out for her,
00:01:22.540 and so she went on 60 Minutes.
00:01:24.360 She went on The View,
00:01:25.640 and I think train wreck does not even begin to capture how badly it went.
00:01:30.060 We're going to break that down for you as well.
00:01:32.060 Yeah, it was a train wreck, and we've got the audio clips.
00:01:35.520 Even as they tried to fix the interview to make it look better on 60 Minutes,
00:01:39.060 they still didn't accomplish that.
00:01:40.500 That's coming back to bite her as well,
00:01:42.360 and we're going to play that original audio for you
00:01:44.620 compared to their edits coming up in just a moment.

00:03:23.440 All right, Senator, I want to play this clip for people.
00:03:26.000 And I hope that this is one of those clips that people will share on social media.
00:03:30.840 This is exactly why we do this podcast, to give people this information.
00:03:34.860 And this alleged migrant gang has been arrested after a SWAT standoff.
00:03:41.040 And we find out about the heinous crimes that were committed by them against this woman in Dallas.
00:03:46.960 Listen to the details.
00:03:48.360 Run down this story.
00:03:49.720 Brooke, what'd you find out?
00:03:52.640 Bill, the details in this case, let me tell you, are just horrifying.
00:03:56.320 This woman says she was held at gunpoint inside of her own home by these four guys.
00:04:00.600 She says they tied her up, they threatened to cut her fingers off, and beat her with a pistol.
00:04:06.700 We now know that these four men who were charged are illegal migrants from Venezuela.
00:04:11.600 This woman lives alone.
00:04:13.000 She's in her 50s, just pulled in her garage in the upscale Briarwood neighborhood of Dallas.
00:04:18.860 Police say the four suspects approached her, forced her inside at gunpoint, ransacked her home, stole money and jewelry.
00:04:26.160 According to police records, the suspects only spoke Spanish and communicated through Google Translate.
00:04:32.520 Luckily, police say she was not hurt.
00:04:34.580 When they left, she managed to free herself, ran to a neighbor's home, and called 911.
00:04:39.600 Police matched a fingerprint to one of the suspects, Manuel Hernandez Hernandez, who named the others involved.
00:04:46.060 All four charged with aggravated robbery and have ICE detainers.
00:04:50.040 ICE tells Fox News that all four are from Venezuela.
00:04:52.920 And according to records, Hernandez told investigators they're involved in a criminal street gang.
00:04:58.400 Now, ICE would only give me the immigration history of Manuel Hernandez.
00:05:02.440 And it's worth noting because in March, he illegally entered the U.S. from El Paso, and he has been arrested at least twice before this.
00:05:09.960 Just months after illegally coming into the U.S., he pled guilty to a DWI.
00:05:15.200 Despite the conviction, he was released right back into the U.S.
00:05:18.800 It was very concerning because it's a nice part of Dallas and a quiet part.
00:05:26.880 We welcome people who come here legally, but people who are not coming in legally, we have to wonder about why they were able to get here in the first place and this far north.
00:05:45.800 And meanwhile, over in San Antonio, authorities cracking down on the Venezuelan street gang Trend de Aragua.
00:05:53.780 Multiple agencies going door-to-door raiding the Palatia apartment complex after reports of drug and human trafficking.
00:06:01.300 Sixteen Venezuelans there arrested and HSI identified four as TDA members.
00:06:07.220 Now, the aggravated robbery back here live in Dallas has neighbors really concerned.
00:06:12.780 A lot of them tell me that's put them on high alert because the scary part, they say, is this is a reminder that it could happen to anyone, anywhere.
00:06:21.720 Senator, I know people that live in this neighborhood.
00:06:25.320 And when the story broke, I got text messages about it.
00:06:29.380 They couldn't believe that this happened to a 50-year-old woman and that was the target, that she was treated this way.
00:06:35.620 And yet, you know, some people say, hey, it isn't a problem until it's on my street or in my neighborhood.
00:06:41.780 This is now happening everywhere.
00:06:44.200 And yet we find these people, we catch them committing crimes, and the Biden administration refuses to deport them over and over again.
00:06:54.100 And that's exactly right, and this happened in an ordinary neighborhood in Dallas.
00:07:00.760 I also was getting texts about it before the news broke publicly.
00:07:04.020 I was hearing about it from people in Dallas that were hearing what had happened and were horrified.
00:07:10.120 And I got to say, it is really dumb luck these guys were caught.
00:07:14.720 One guy left his fingerprint behind.
00:07:17.540 If there hadn't been a fingerprint, in all likelihood, these guys, we would have never known who they were
00:07:22.640 other than the description of them.
00:07:25.120 Now, the first one who was arrested, he told the Dallas police that the other men were part of the El Anti-Tren criminal street gang in Venezuela,
00:07:35.240 which is a different gang than the Tren de Aragua gang, which has been really an enormous problem in committing multiple crimes,
00:07:44.120 including, by the way, we now have reports that at least one of the two illegal immigrants who raped and murdered Jocelyn Nungary was a member of the Tren de Aragua gang.
00:07:58.020 So you've got two different gangs in Venezuela, and presumably more, but these are two different reports, two crimes, both horrific.
00:08:08.660 The one in Houston, what happened to Jocelyn is one of the most horrific things.
00:08:13.220 That beautiful little girl was grabbed at night, was raped, was murdered, strangled, and then just thrown in a bayou,
00:08:22.600 thrown in a bayou under a bridge, discarded in a way that is horrible.
00:08:27.780 And by the way, Jocelyn's murderers, they were apprehended, and Joe Biden and Kamala Harris released them the very same day.
00:08:36.340 Now, as you know, I've gotten to know Jocelyn's mom.
00:08:40.780 Alexis is an incredibly brave young woman.
00:08:44.060 I've gotten to know Jocelyn's grandfather, and the agony, the pain they have gone through is horrific.
00:08:50.600 And we're seeing this day after day after day.
00:08:55.120 You look in Dallas, this crime, I've got to say, it's got people throughout Dallas, across Texas, across the country, incredibly concerned.
00:09:04.820 This woman was just driving home when four armed men showed up with guns, forced their way into her home, tied her up, beat her, pistol whipped her with their handguns, threatened to cut off her fingers, and then robbed her, robbed about $75,000 from the house.
00:09:24.260 This is the very real consequences of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' open borders.
00:09:30.180 One of the questions that you've got to ask about that story as well is, how did they get these guns, right?
00:09:35.460 They can't buy them in a store.
00:09:37.520 There's no loophole on a background check, Senator.
00:09:40.400 All of the gun laws we have in this country, and wait, all these criminals, all these gang members able to get these guns?
00:09:46.080 I'm being a little bit sarcastic, but it's also, at the same time, a very real question.
00:09:49.840 Yeah, look, illegal immigrants are not eligible to legally purchase a firearm in the United States, and certainly Venezuelan gang members are not.
00:09:58.220 But inevitably, these criminals acquire guns illegally.
00:10:02.280 And it's an amazing thing, Ben.
00:10:03.940 The Democrats in Congress, they never seem to be worried when it's criminals getting guns illegally.
00:10:09.040 What they're worried about is law-abiding citizens having weapons to protect their homes.
00:10:14.200 The criminals and how they get guns, that's a question they never ask.
00:10:17.320 And by the way, let's be clear, it is Joe Biden and Kamala Harris that are releasing these criminals into America.
00:10:26.080 And I've got to say, look, as on top of the story out of Dallas, on top of the horrific story of Jocelyn, we've got another story that broke this week.
00:10:35.500 I just want to read you the headline.
00:10:37.560 Quote, illegal immigrant previously charged with raping eight-year-old girl arrested after erroneous release.
00:10:46.040 And listen to the facts of this, because it just, it's going to blow you away.
00:10:51.080 Quote, a Honduran illegal immigrant who was previously charged with raping an eight-year-old girl in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was arrested after he was released erroneously from local custody in 2019.
00:11:03.640 The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, New Orleans, announced on Monday that 28-year-old Carlos Vazquez was captured and arrested on a work site in Baton Rouge on Wednesday.
00:11:15.000 ICE said Vazquez entered the U.S. illegally as a gotaway in an unknown time, and he was released erroneously from local custody after he was convicted of sex crimes in 2019.
00:11:24.860 ICE added that Vazquez had remained at large.
00:11:28.100 On April 27, 2017, ERO Baton Rouge filed a detainer on Vazquez with East Baton Rouge Paris Jail after his arrest for indecent behavior with juveniles, first-degree rape, and oral sexual battery of an eight-year-old girl.
00:11:46.220 Two years later, on November 18, 2019, ICE said Vazquez was convicted of the amended charge of sexual battery and was sentenced to six months in prison with credit for time served.
00:11:56.000 On the same date, the court accepted his guilty plea to the charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor and fined him $500 and court costs of $235, placing him on supervised probation for a period of one year.
00:12:09.460 However, on the same day, the Franklin Parish Detention Center erroneously released him from custody without notifying ERO Baton Rouge.
00:12:19.280 Vazquez is now in federal custody, according to ICE.
00:12:22.020 Last month, data provided to lawmakers by ICE said that tens of thousands of illegal immigrants with sex offenses and homicide convictions could be loose on the streets.
00:12:37.040 This is, and in fact, it continues, the agency provided the data to Representative Tony Gonzalez about national data for illegal immigrants with criminal charges or convictions.
00:12:45.880 The data, as of July 2024, is broken down by those in detention and those who are not in detention, which is known as the non-detained docket.
00:12:55.320 The non-detained docket includes illegal immigrants who have final orders of removal or are going through removal but are not detained in ICE custody.
00:13:03.120 There are currently, how many do you think are on ICE's non-detained docket?
00:13:07.940 Knowing this administration, there's no telling.
00:13:11.260 More than 7 million.
00:13:12.560 More than 7 million.
00:13:15.220 More than 7 million.
00:13:16.580 And of those, there are 425,431 convicted criminals and 222,141 with pending criminal charges.
00:13:26.820 It almost seems like they created a crisis, Senator, so they wouldn't have to deal with the 7 million because they'd say, well, no one can deal with 7 million, right?
00:13:34.320 We just keep letting them run through the system.
00:13:37.000 At some point, we'll just admit the system's overloaded, and then we'll just, you know, kind of hand out amnesty like it's candy.
00:13:43.820 Well, let's start with 13,099.
00:13:47.780 Those are the criminally convicted murderers.
00:13:49.820 Those are the people with homicide convictions who are illegal immigrants who are currently released.
00:13:55.680 Every one of those could be picked up and deported.
00:13:58.880 And why have Joe Biden and Kamala Harris not done that?
00:14:02.660 I think it's pretty clear they have no intent of protecting us from these heinous criminals that are committing these crimes that we just mentioned.
00:14:10.600 It's part of their master plan to completely re-overhaul and redo America.
00:14:16.220 And, by the way, I will say, you know, it's interesting.
00:14:20.640 When you do media interviews, I unfortunately do a lot of media interviews, and I've seen left-wing reporters get really angry and, in fact, yell at me.
00:14:28.560 I had one reporter yell at me, how dare you say that the Democrats are doing this for political advantage?
00:14:33.860 And I'll respond to them and say, well, give me another reason.
00:14:37.180 Give me any other reason.
00:14:38.900 13,099 convicted murderers who are illegal aliens, every one of them could be removed from America.
00:14:44.640 I challenge you, give me any other justification for not going and picking them up and getting them hell out of this country.
00:14:52.420 I don't have one.
00:14:53.340 I don't know one.
00:14:54.680 And the real answer, I believe the only answer, is they look at 11.5 million illegal immigrants and they see them all or the bulk of them as future Democrat voters.
00:15:05.380 And so if there has to be suffering, if people have to die, sadly, Democrats are willing to look the other way.
00:15:12.440 And that sounds profoundly cynical.
00:15:15.900 And as I said, I've had reporters yell at me that they just don't believe it, but then nobody can proffer any alternative explanation.
00:15:22.800 Canadian women are looking for more, more out of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them.
00:15:29.580 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.
00:15:33.520 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:15:34.700 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:15:35.980 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women.
00:15:39.660 Entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians, and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.
00:15:45.420 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:15:48.660 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:15:52.800 Kamala Harris was, by the way, also asked on The View, would you have done anything differently than President Biden during the past four years?
00:16:04.340 Obviously, this would include the wide open southern border, the illegal immigrants that are coming across, those that are rapists, that are convicted rapists in the numbers you just mentioned, the convicted murderers, those that have been accused, by the way, of heinous crimes.
00:16:18.900 I haven't actually had a court date yet in their home country and fled the country to get away from those accusations.
00:16:27.180 And she was asked the question on The View in New York about it.
00:16:32.540 Listen.
00:16:32.820 Well, if anything, would you have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years?
00:16:42.660 There is not a thing that comes to mind in terms of, and I've been a part of most of the decisions that have had impact.
00:16:50.640 That is the ad that Donald Trump should run in every swing state in America between now and Election Day, because she is telling you.
00:16:59.060 Look, as far as I'm concerned, you play that clip and then right after it, the words, I'm Donald Trump and I approve this message.
00:17:05.100 I mean, that's it.
00:17:06.000 That actually may be the truest words Kamala Harris has ever spoken.
00:17:10.720 There is nothing she would do differently, except, you know what, she might even do it worse, because I will say, listen, I think Biden is basically at this point a puppet.
00:17:18.840 I think it is sad the condition he's in.
00:17:21.500 I think Kamala is a true believer.
00:17:23.540 I think I'm not even sure how you would do it worse than Biden has.
00:17:27.860 But but if it is possible to, I think Kamala intends to if she ever gets in that position.
00:17:35.100 When you hear her say what she says, and she also said, look, I was involved in all this.
00:17:40.520 She's basically implying that she's been a de facto president of the United States of America.
00:17:44.840 So how can she now run away from her record as specifically on this immigration issue?
00:17:50.120 This is, for me, the whole ballgame.
00:17:52.140 This is the election.
00:17:54.040 Well, there's also an arrogance to that answer.
00:17:57.860 You know, it's like, have you ever made a mistake?
00:18:00.340 I can't think of any mistake I've ever made.
00:18:02.860 I mean, I mean, I mean that, you know, the idea.
00:18:05.500 No, no, no.
00:18:05.840 Everything we've done is is perfect.
00:18:08.240 Well, gosh, Kamala, how about the disastrous withdrawal in Afghanistan?
00:18:12.500 How about 13 dead service men and women?
00:18:14.260 You wish that was different?
00:18:15.220 No, no, that doesn't come to mind.
00:18:17.720 How about all of the people who've been murdered, raped, the children assaulted by illegal immigrants you've released?
00:18:22.840 No, that's not a mistake either.
00:18:24.080 OK, inflation.
00:18:26.460 You stood up at a rally and talked about how the cost of everything has skyrocketed.
00:18:30.400 Was that a mistake?
00:18:31.780 How about giving $100 billion to Iran?
00:18:35.020 That a mistake?
00:18:36.020 Like, nothing comes to mind.
00:18:38.840 There's a lack of introspection.
00:18:41.640 She's actually not.
00:18:43.220 You know, you think about it.
00:18:44.280 After four years in the White House, I mean, almost anyone would say, gosh, there's some things we should have done better.
00:18:49.940 We should have done different.
00:18:50.900 There's some lessons learned, but not Kamala.
00:18:54.060 There are no lessons learned.
00:18:55.220 No, no, we did everything right.
00:18:56.520 The only thing is we just need to stay in power forever.
00:18:59.660 I mean, that it sums up the arrogance, the lack of accountability that I think captures today's left.
00:19:11.340 Yeah, you're absolutely right.
00:19:13.780 A lot of you that listen to this show, you probably would be really upset.
00:19:18.940 You'd be mad.
00:19:19.680 You'd be angry if you found out that every month you're paying a bill right now.
00:19:24.080 And part of that money is going to support hardcore Democratic causes, candidates and radical organizations, organizations that pay for abortions.
00:19:33.340 Well, if you are with Big Mobile, that is where your money is actually going.
00:19:40.020 Yeah, Big Mobile gives big donations to Democratic causes, candidates and organizations, radical organizations, like I just mentioned, that fight to actually abort children.
00:19:52.240 I found out about this and I said, I don't want to give another dime of money to them because I don't want my money to be used against my values.
00:19:59.160 Well, that's exactly the reason why Patriot Mobile was started more than 10 years ago.
00:20:05.280 Patriot Mobile was started by a group of conservatives that said, hey, we want to defend America.
00:20:09.960 We want to defend our Constitution and we want to make sure money is not used to go against our family Christian values.
00:20:17.240 Now, Patriot Mobile does something else that's amazing.
00:20:19.240 They take about 5% of your bill every month and they give it back to causes that are fighting for our First and our Second Amendment rights, that are fighting for the sanctity of life.

00:21:33.400 Senator, this brings me to the bigger issue, and that is Kamala Harris has been in hiding.
00:21:38.840 She's used the basement Joe Biden strategy.
00:21:41.700 We've talked about this a lot on this show.
00:21:44.340 So what's interesting is her bump after the convention has now started to disappear.
00:21:52.380 The campaign's concerned.
00:21:54.380 There's been a lot of people that have said, we can't see her.
00:21:56.760 She doesn't do press conferences.
00:21:58.400 She hasn't laid out an agenda.
00:22:00.280 We don't really know who she is.
00:22:02.040 And there's others that say, hey, keep hiding her because we believe she's just not likable.
00:22:06.600 And so that's your only option.
00:22:08.480 Well, the campaign made a very clear decision.
00:22:11.480 We're going to throw her on late night.
00:22:13.180 We're going to throw her on these ridiculous podcasts.
00:22:17.060 One of them, that's the actual name.
00:22:18.500 I'm not joking.
00:22:20.020 I think it's Call Her Daddy.
00:22:22.680 And it's a show that deals with a bunch of conversations about sex and all other just random stuff.
00:22:29.200 That's where they've decided to spend her time.
00:22:31.960 She's doing late night comedy shows as well.
00:22:35.240 And then she did, quote, one real serious interview.
00:22:39.020 It was with 60 Minutes.
00:22:40.280 It did not go well.
00:22:42.940 It was, many would believe, a, I think it's fair to call it a disaster.
00:22:49.860 She's tried to reinvent herself yet again.
00:22:53.160 It's not going well.
00:22:54.340 You saw part of that interview as well.
00:22:57.140 Yeah.
00:22:57.340 And let's start with the question she gets asked on immigration and whether it was a mistake for Biden to go soft on the border, whether it was a mistake to quadruple the number of illegal immigrants.
00:23:12.160 And she refuses to answer.
00:23:14.820 She dodges over and over again.
00:23:17.120 And it really is, I think, it's the same as the view answer.
00:23:22.060 But it's even more revealing because she so stubbornly dug into, no, everything we did with our open borders was exactly right.
00:23:29.860 I've been covering the border for years.
00:23:33.100 Correct.
00:23:34.100 And so I know this is not a problem that started with your administration.
00:23:37.940 Correct.
00:23:38.300 Correct.
00:23:38.740 But there was an historic flood of undocumented immigrants coming across the border the first three years of your administration.
00:23:49.860 As a matter of fact, arrivals quadrupled from the last year of President Trump.
00:23:55.680 Was it a mistake to loosen the immigration policies as much as you did?
00:24:03.240 It's a longstanding problem and solutions are at hand.
00:24:08.340 And from day one, literally, we have been offering solutions.
00:24:13.340 What I was asking was, was it a mistake to kind of allow that flood to happen in the first place?
00:24:20.700 Well, I think the policies that we have been proposing are about fixing a problem, not promoting a problem.
00:24:28.500 Okay.
00:24:28.960 But the numbers did quadruple.
00:24:30.980 And the numbers today, because of what we have done, we have cut the flow of illegal immigration by half.
00:24:39.060 We have cut the flow of fentanyl by half.
00:24:42.720 But we need Congress to be able to act to actually fix the problem.
00:24:49.440 So it's all your fault, Senator.
00:24:52.020 It's all Congress's fault.
00:24:53.340 It's not the fault of the president and the vice president of the United States of America.
00:24:57.440 That's what they go back to.
00:24:59.680 Well, and of course, she ignores the fact that without Congress acting, and by the way, when Trump was president, we very much wanted Congress to act.
00:25:07.380 We fought to have Congress pass tough border legislation, and the Democrats, including Kamala Harris, blocked it.
00:25:13.480 They didn't want tough border legislation.
00:25:15.880 They opposed it at every stage.
00:25:17.320 So, for example, I introduce Kate's Law.
00:25:20.900 Kate's Law is named for Kate Steinle.
00:25:22.800 Kate Steinle was a beautiful 28-year-old woman in California, and tragically, she was murdered.
00:25:29.800 She was murdered.
00:25:30.680 She was standing on a pier in California, on a California beach, and an illegal immigrant who had been deported repeatedly, who had been convicted of multiple crimes over and over and over again.
00:25:41.020 He'd been in and out of jail repeatedly.
00:25:44.180 He'd been deported, and he kept coming back.
00:25:47.600 He fired a gun, and the bullet hit her in the chest and pierced her heart.
00:25:54.360 And Kate Steinle fell on that pier.
00:25:57.700 She was with her father.
00:25:59.040 I've met Kate Steinle's father.
00:26:00.640 His daughter died in his arms.
00:26:05.540 She bled out as he was holding her.
00:26:08.700 Her last words to her father were, help me, Daddy.
00:26:12.540 You and I are both dads.
00:26:14.080 I cannot imagine.
00:26:15.420 That's haunting.
00:26:16.360 That's the only way I can describe it.
00:26:17.780 A greater nightmare, and the powerlessness you feel.
00:26:21.020 The one thing as a dad you want to be able to do is protect your child.
00:26:25.140 And Kate's law is imminently common-sense legislation that says aggravated felons who repeatedly enter the country illegally should face mandatory minimum prison sentences.
00:26:40.880 Upwards of 80% of Texans, upwards of 80% of Americans agree with Kate's law.
00:26:45.080 I'm the author of it.
00:26:45.860 I fought for it for years.
00:26:47.960 Twice, I forced a vote on the Senate floor on Kate's law.
00:26:52.180 Do you know what happened when we voted on Kate's law?
00:26:55.140 I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Democrats said, nah, we're good.
00:26:59.820 Every single Democrat, including Kamala Harris, voted no.
00:27:04.720 Just to Kate's law, just saying the worst of the worst, the aggravated felons, their view was, no, we will not even focus on the criminals,
00:27:14.560 even focus on the bad guys.
00:27:16.260 In the wake of Jocelyn Nungary's murder, I introduced the Justice for Jocelyn Act to mandate that the administration keep in detention illegal immigrants when they have them and not release them into the public.
00:27:29.340 You know what? Not a single Democrat has supported justice for Jocelyn.
00:27:34.220 This is a pattern over and over again.
00:27:36.860 So, Kamala, in that interview, she doesn't address the fact that the reason Congress hasn't passed tougher border legislation is because she has opposed it along with every other member of her party,
00:27:47.220 both in the Senate and virtually every Democrat in the House.
00:27:51.300 She also hasn't addressed the rather obvious fact, which was asked in that question in 60 minutes.
00:27:58.360 Well, gosh, Donald Trump, even when you, the Democrats, blocked border legislation,
00:28:04.340 was able to achieve the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years, was able to achieve incredible success.
00:28:11.200 And I worked hand in hand with President Trump to do that.
00:28:14.860 She didn't address the fact, well, how was Trump able to do it without legislation passing?
00:28:21.980 And by the way, how did you, Madam Bordersar, turn us into, go from the lowest rate of illegal immigration in 45 years to the worst rate of illegal immigration in our nation's history?
00:28:35.000 And the answer is that unilaterally, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris decided we're going to ignore federal law.
00:28:41.580 You know, she says, Gus, Congress needs to pass the law.
00:28:43.560 You know what? It is current federal law that when illegal aliens are in custody, they should be detained and they should be deported.
00:28:49.560 If you look at the federal statutes, they use the word shall repeatedly, shall be deported.
00:28:56.100 That is a mandatory obligation from Congress.
00:28:59.900 And I got to say that this is something to understand.
00:29:03.280 The problem at the border is not a money problem.
00:29:06.260 Would it help to have more border patrol agents?
00:29:08.700 Sure.
00:29:08.960 But you and I have had on on this this podcast, the president of the Border Patrol Union, who's told us we don't need more money.
00:29:17.160 We don't need more agents.
00:29:18.120 We take them, but we don't need them.
00:29:20.140 What they need is policy.
00:29:21.740 And what caused this crisis was the decision of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to implement catch and release simply to release illegal immigrants.
00:29:32.100 As with Jocelyn's murderers on the day they are apprehended, just let them go.
00:29:37.280 And we've never had a president in more than 200 years of this country's history who just defies the law, says, I don't care what's written in the United States code.
00:29:47.960 I am going to do what I damn well want to.
00:29:50.740 And I want to release 11 and a half million illegal immigrants.
00:29:53.600 That's what we've had.
00:29:54.800 She is responsible for it, and she cannot admit responsibility.
00:29:59.620 And by the way, to be clear, if God forbid she wins in November, she intends to continue doing the same damn thing.
00:30:07.320 She tried to redo, by the way, on her question of what she would do different.
00:30:12.420 This was when she decided to go on Stephen Colbert last night.
00:30:17.080 And here's what she said when she was asked about, hey, would you be any different than Joe Biden?
00:30:22.560 Now, I have a theory, Senator.
00:30:24.220 I think they said, can you re-ask that question?
00:30:27.460 Because our other answer really sucked.
00:30:28.200 Of course they did.
00:30:28.620 That was entirely staged.
00:30:30.280 The campaign realized, oh my goodness, this was a disaster of an answer.
00:30:35.160 You've just given Trump their lead campaign commercial heading into the election.
00:30:40.320 So let's tee up and give a different answer.
00:30:42.700 And, of course, Stephen Colbert.
00:30:44.000 You know, I'm actually surprised he wasn't wearing, like, a cheerleader, like, mini skirt and pom-poms, because it is not complicated who he's rooting for.
00:30:54.660 But go ahead and play the clip.
00:30:55.680 Polling shows that a lot of people, especially independent voters, really want this to be a change election and that they tend to break for you in terms of thinking about change.
00:31:07.520 You are a member of the president administration.
00:31:10.720 Under a Harris administration, what would the major changes be and what would stay the same?
00:31:17.980 Sure.
00:31:18.400 Well, I mean, I'm obviously not Joe Biden.
00:31:21.160 I know.
00:31:21.380 And so that would be one change in terms of – but also, I think it's important to say with, you know, 28 days to go, I'm not Donald Trump.
00:31:33.280 And so when we think about the significance of what this next generation of leadership looks like, right, to be elected president, it is about – frankly, I love the American people.
00:31:46.580 And I believe in our country – I love that it is our character and nature to be an ambitious people.
00:31:56.340 You know, we have aspirations.
00:31:58.520 We have dreams.
00:31:59.640 We are – we have incredible work ethic.
00:32:03.440 And I just believe that we can create and build upon the success we've achieved in a way that we continue to grow opportunity and in that way grow the strength of our nation.
00:32:15.440 So, for example, my economic policies, I think of it and I have named it as creating an opportunity economy.
00:32:21.840 So it's about things like investing in small businesses.
00:32:24.820 I love our small businesses.
00:32:26.400 I love this part where she's like, I created it, like out of thin air, Senator.
00:32:30.720 I created it.
00:32:32.120 And I named it like it's a puppy.
00:32:34.940 I've named it.
00:32:35.840 Like, she didn't give any answer there, right?
00:32:38.340 It's just – she just says, I love the American people and we have ambition, quote unquote.
00:32:43.840 Look, that answer – it's actually screamingly funny and at the same time, screamingly terrifying.
00:32:52.180 So Colbert's tried.
00:32:53.900 He's like, look, people desperately want change.
00:32:56.040 The entire fiction of your campaign is you're the change candidate except for the fact that you're the incumbent administration.
00:33:00.840 And every other vice president in history who's run for election has run on continuity, continue the successes.
00:33:07.240 Well, you know that the successes are very few and that the record is a train wreck.
00:33:12.180 So you want change because people aren't happy with your disastrous record.
00:33:16.580 So what would you change?
00:33:17.840 Now, that actually – to call that a softball is an insult to softballs.
00:33:22.400 That's a t-ball.
00:33:23.280 Well, that's a giant kickball.
00:33:26.320 It's a setup.
00:33:26.380 It's a setup, though.
00:33:27.220 Like, we need to just be intellectually honest about this.
00:33:29.620 Like, this is a clear – we need a redo.
00:33:32.460 We're going to use why, not Donald Trump.
00:33:34.420 But I've got to say, I don't know if her campaign is just miserably incompetent or she is or both.
00:33:42.900 But for a setup, that may be the worst answer I've ever heard because she talks.
00:33:47.580 I mean, the phrase word salad is used a lot, but she says, well, the change is I'm not Joe Biden.
00:33:53.300 Oh, okay.
00:33:54.420 And I'm not Donald Trump.
00:33:55.740 That's the whole change.
00:33:56.940 And then I love – what else is the change?
00:33:58.800 The next thing she says, I love America.
00:34:02.620 Yeah.
00:34:02.860 Oh, my goodness.
00:34:03.660 So your position is Joe Biden doesn't love America?
00:34:06.640 That's the change.
00:34:07.820 She literally says, I love America.
00:34:10.060 That's the change.
00:34:11.480 Unlike those evil, mean bastards that aren't me.
00:34:14.760 Well, and the other thing is they try to humanize her.
00:34:18.320 She cracked open a beer with Stephen Colbert, and that got like a full segment on CNN, which was hysterical.
00:34:25.700 And then you go back to what she actually says.
00:34:29.120 And the vice president of the United States of America said, and I want you to listen for this,
00:34:34.340 the American dream right now is really elusive.
00:34:36.920 Is she trying to write another ad for Donald Trump?
00:34:40.020 Listen.
00:34:40.580 The American dream right now is really elusive for far too many people.
00:34:44.760 In terms of even aspiring to own a home, it's too expensive.
00:34:49.020 We don't have enough housing.
00:34:49.960 We have a housing shortage.
00:34:50.920 So part of my plan is to work with the private sector, with builders and developers,
00:34:54.520 to build three million more homes by the end of my first term,
00:34:58.260 and to give first-time homebuyers a $25,000 down payment assistance,
00:35:04.240 so they can just get their foot in the door to homeownership,
00:35:07.980 which is the fastest and the most efficient way for people to build intergenerational wealth.
00:35:12.940 These are the ways that I think about how we build up our country in a way that is about supporting the middle class.
00:35:20.740 I come from the middle class.
00:35:22.160 I'm never going to forget where I come from.
00:35:24.120 I love it.
00:35:24.920 Middle class is apparently really tough for her.
00:35:27.120 If you know her history, you've kind of got to roll your eyes at that.
00:35:31.080 But this idea, she says, everything's bad right now, far too many people in terms even aspiring to own a house
00:35:36.240 because there's not enough houses.
00:35:38.060 Well, why is that?
00:35:38.860 Because the illegal immigrants you've allowed into this country by the tens of millions.
00:35:43.500 Well, of course, Colbert pressed back with that, right?
00:35:45.820 No, no, no, he did not.
00:35:47.020 They just decided to drink a beer instead because that's how you do an interview now
00:35:50.720 when it's somebody that no one's voted for and we're just, you know, less than 30 days away from Election Day, right?
00:35:56.740 You know, by the way, I will say I think it is fitting that that was a comedy show
00:36:00.220 because if you recall in her debate with Donald Trump,
00:36:05.700 the opening question was elections come down to the question,
00:36:09.860 are you better off now than you were four years ago?
00:36:12.580 And so, Madam Vice President, are the American people better off now than they were four years ago?
00:36:17.020 And her answer was, I came from the middle class.
00:36:20.220 But, like, it's become a punchline because it was such a non-sequitur.
00:36:26.160 She's unable to say yes because the record is a disaster.
00:36:31.660 And so she just, she has this talking point.
00:36:34.480 And the fact that at a comedy show she goes back to, well, I come from the middle class.
00:36:38.480 Apparently some focus group somewhere told her that was a good thing to say
00:36:42.960 and she doesn't have anything else to say.
00:36:45.600 Yeah, she doesn't.
00:36:46.300 I want to tell you real quick about Berna and increased crime and violence around our country.
00:36:51.300 We've talked about in this show.
00:36:52.920 And you need to make sure you can protect and defend yourself.
00:36:56.400 Berna is a less lethal option that can protect your life and also, in a weird way, save two lives,
00:37:04.840 your life and someone else's from not having to use lethal force.
00:37:09.380 Now, there are a lot of situations where you may not be able to carry a firearm.
00:37:14.260 Maybe you travel a lot.
00:37:15.500 Maybe you have a daughter who's 18 years old that is off at school by herself.
00:37:19.000 Maybe you have a mother-in-law or a sister-in-law and you want to make sure they can protect themselves.
00:37:25.080 Well, this is why I want you to know about Berna.
00:37:26.900 Not only do I have them, but I have got them for every one of my family members,
00:37:32.160 especially the women in the family, because I want them to be able to protect themselves no matter where they are.
00:37:37.660 Don't compromise on your peace of mind.
00:37:40.220 You need to check out the Berna Less Lethal Pistol Launcher.
00:37:43.980 A Berna can save two lives.
00:37:45.860 As I said, it's a great complement to owning firearms.
00:37:49.140 And if you or your family is in a situation where you feel threatened, you need to start with less lethal.
00:37:54.360 It is legal in all 50 states.
00:37:56.880 No permits are needed.
00:37:58.160 No background checks are needed.
00:37:59.940 Now, as I said, I own these myself and they are great for family members as well.

00:38:57.080 Senator, two quick things I want to bring up and it dealt with foreign policy.
00:39:01.640 Kamala Harris has refused to directly answer if Netanyahu is an ally of our country.
00:39:10.500 Here's what she said in the 60 Minutes interview that was shocking as well.
00:39:14.860 Do we have a real close ally in Prime Minister Netanyahu?
00:39:22.460 I think with all due respect, the better question is, do we have an important alliance between the American people and the Israeli people?
00:39:32.080 And the answer to that question is yes.
00:39:34.240 So she throws our relationship with a leader that was elected by the people in Israel, Netanyahu, under the bus.
00:39:42.520 And she clearly is saying there is separation between me and Netanyahu and Israel.
00:39:50.100 She had to make that that comment, I think, in her mind to keep the radicals that are anti-Jewish, anti-Semites who support Hezbollah and Hamas on her side.
00:40:02.980 And that's why she was so, I think, careful with her words there to say, he's not my guy.
00:40:07.860 I mean, I'm fine with Israel, but not him.
00:40:10.840 Well, look, she clearly hates Benjamin Netanyahu.
00:40:13.660 And that that's true of this entire White House.
00:40:16.060 It's true of Joe Biden.
00:40:17.240 It's true of most of the Democrats.
00:40:19.080 And remember, Kamala Harris, as the sitting vice president, boycotted Netanyahu's speech to a joint session of Congress.
00:40:26.160 I was there sitting on the floor of the House.
00:40:28.600 Prime Minister Netanyahu gave an extraordinary address.
00:40:31.240 And, you know, the vice president, you know, the old line is it's a job that's not worth a bucket of spit.
00:40:39.220 But among the very few responsibilities of the vice president are to sit and preside on a joint session of Congress.
00:40:46.420 To sit your rear end down in that chair while someone addresses a joint session of Congress.
00:40:51.660 Well, she loathes Prime Minister Netanyahu so much she refused to attend.
00:40:57.340 And so her answer, does she consider Netanyahu an ally?
00:41:01.380 No.
00:41:01.960 And frankly, she can barely bring herself to describe Israel as an ally.
00:41:07.680 Listen, there is a growing pro-Hamas wing of the Democrat Party.
00:41:14.240 And Kamala Harris clearly wants their vote.
00:41:16.440 She wants the votes in Dearborn, Michigan.
00:41:18.140 She wants the votes of the radicals, the anti-Semites on college campuses.
00:41:22.020 And I got to say, and we should wrap up on this.
00:41:25.800 I want to play the answer she gave when asked about Israel on 60 Minutes.
00:41:33.320 The actual answer she gave.
00:41:35.820 And then I want us to play what 60 Minutes aired.
00:41:39.200 Because we mentioned before the phrase word salad.
00:41:42.200 This word salad answer is truly remarkable.
00:41:45.840 And so let's play initially what she said in the actual interview.
00:41:50.580 And then we'll go to what they aired.
00:41:51.840 And then the 60-minute fabulous edit.
00:41:54.240 That's the only way to describe it.
00:41:56.140 They knew it was bad, so let's fix it.
00:41:58.860 Here it is.
00:41:59.860 But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.
00:42:04.000 Well, Bill, the work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel
00:42:15.560 that were very much prompted by or a result of many things,
00:42:22.580 including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region.
00:42:26.400 Now, that is the original answer.
00:42:30.020 All right.
00:42:30.340 So it was 27 seconds long.
00:42:32.780 So they tweeted that out before the interview aired.
00:42:36.380 So it was public in the Twitterverse.
00:42:39.960 And people were vicious in mocking it.
00:42:43.160 Because it's so lacking in content.
00:42:45.240 It doesn't say anything.
00:42:46.460 So here's what 60 Minutes actually aired.
00:42:51.060 But it seems that Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.
00:42:55.480 We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the United States
00:42:59.840 to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.
00:43:03.920 That's a completely different answer.
00:43:07.000 Holy cow.
00:43:08.600 Like, listen, that's not 60 Minutes.
00:43:11.020 That's like 57 Minutes.
00:43:12.780 And it makes you wonder, what else did they edit out?
00:43:16.440 What other answers did she give that the 60 Minutes producers buried their head in their hands
00:43:23.880 and said, oh, no, if people see this, they're not going to vote for it.
00:43:27.800 We need her to vote for it.
00:43:29.040 Now, look, I'm going to be mixed in my commentary on 60 Minutes
00:43:33.520 because I will say at least they asked the question on quadrupling the number of illegal immigrants.
00:43:38.620 That was important, and her refusal to answer it was important.
00:43:44.020 So they didn't edit that out.
00:43:45.920 But on Israel, they just couldn't stomach letting her answer stand on its own merits,
00:43:51.400 and they tried to help her out, and they actually got caught,
00:43:54.800 which I've got to say I think has done real damage to their credibility going forward.
00:43:59.280 I agree with you there.
