00:01:14.240 Well, listen, when you say we were not expecting this indictment,
00:01:17.940 I don't think that's entirely accurate.
00:01:19.720 Once the sweetheart plea deal collapsed,
00:01:23.060 and it collapsed because there was public scrutiny,
00:01:25.640 it collapsed because the IRS whistleblowers came forward,
00:01:28.180 it collapsed because the House of Representatives held hearings,
00:01:31.120 it collapsed because the federal district judge realized
00:01:34.100 that signing off on this sweetheart deal
00:01:36.100 would profoundly compromise the integrity of the court system.

00:01:43.420 a larger indictment was much, much more likely.

00:01:50.000 is nine different counts.

00:26:59.340 question him, and
00:26:59.900 there are a lot of

00:27:01.180 questioned him on.

00:27:57.280 of Justice has been
00:27:58.280 profoundly politicized
00:27:59.680 under Attorney General
00:28:01.160 Merrick Garland, and I
00:28:02.880 think the FBI has as
00:28:03.920 well.
00:28:04.100 And unfortunately, I think
00:28:09.040 you've been unwilling to
00:28:10.240 stand up to senior career
00:28:11.880 officials in the FBI who's
00:28:13.380 allowed the FBI to be
00:28:14.560 politicized.
00:28:15.220 I'll tell you, I
00:28:15.840 regularly speak with FBI
00:28:17.160 agents across the country
00:28:18.460 who are unhappy about the
00:28:22.020 integrity of the
00:28:22.700 institution being weakened
00:28:24.140 because DOJ is being
00:28:27.260 treated as a political
00:28:29.500 weapon.
00:28:29.800 I want to talk in
00:28:30.660 particular about the
00:28:32.760 investigation into
00:28:33.960 multiple allegations of
00:28:35.400 corruption concerning
00:28:36.400 Hunter Biden and Joe
00:28:37.940 Biden.
00:28:38.920 Because the Department of
00:28:41.380 Justice has, I think,
00:28:42.640 from the outset, tried at
00:28:45.200 every step to stop
00:28:46.760 investigation into
00:28:48.240 corruption from Joe
00:28:49.240 Biden.
00:28:50.180 As you're aware, a
00:28:52.360 WhatsApp text message was
00:28:54.260 sent to Henry Zhao, a
00:28:57.120 senior Chinese communist,
00:28:58.960 journalist from Hunter
00:29:00.280 Biden that reads as
00:29:01.720 follows.
00:29:03.120 I'm sitting here with my
00:29:04.420 father, and we would like
00:29:05.340 to understand why the
00:29:06.280 commitment made has not
00:29:07.160 been fulfilled.
00:29:08.160 Tell the director that I
00:29:09.120 would like to resolve this
00:29:10.120 now before it gets out of
00:29:11.560 hand.
00:29:12.380 And now means tonight.
00:29:13.680 And Z, if I get a call or
00:29:14.900 text from anyone involved

00:29:17.000 Zhang, or the chairman, I

00:29:34.040 in the media trying to
00:29:34.900 defend the White House
00:29:35.760 repeatedly say there is no
00:29:37.800 direct evidence of Joe
00:29:39.440 Biden's involvement in his
00:29:41.880 son's corruption.
00:29:42.960 Well, this is a text that
00:29:45.660 is direct evidence that is
00:29:48.020 stating that it is his
00:29:49.320 father that is going to
00:29:50.540 retaliate.
00:29:52.520 Now, an IRS whistleblower,
00:29:55.500 Gary Shapley, testified
00:29:56.660 before the House of
00:29:57.540 Representatives, that the
00:29:59.640 natural step he wanted to
00:30:01.220 follow was to determine
00:30:03.680 whether Joe Biden was in
00:30:05.200 fact sitting next to his
00:30:06.360 father when this threat was
00:30:07.660 made to extort millions of
00:30:10.100 dollars from a Chinese
00:30:10.960 communist.
00:30:12.380 And what the IRS whistleblower
00:30:14.000 testified is that when he
00:30:15.420 tried to find out whether
00:30:19.740 Joe Biden was sitting next to
00:30:21.320 Hunter, that the DOJ blocked
00:30:24.660 not getting the GPS data on
00:30:26.760 Joe Biden's phone.
00:30:28.300 Did the FBI try to ascertain
00:30:30.600 where Hunter Biden was and
00:30:32.400 where Joe Biden was when this
00:30:33.780 text was sent?
00:30:35.340 Well, I think the questions
00:30:36.700 you're asking go to the
00:30:38.880 ongoing investigation being
00:30:40.320 led by Special Counsel Weiss.
00:30:41.940 And so I'm not going to be
00:30:42.920 able to discuss what is or
00:30:44.520 isn't in scope.
00:30:45.400 So look, there's been
00:30:46.120 testimony under oath from the
00:30:49.280 IRS whistleblower that you did
00:30:50.760 not seek the GPS data.
00:30:52.260 And you're right, David Weiss,
00:30:54.400 the special prosecutor, is in
00:30:55.700 charge of it.
00:30:56.840 And it is David Weiss and his
00:30:58.340 underlings who, according to
00:31:01.900 the IRS whistleblowers, have
00:31:03.420 alleged that they're the ones
00:31:05.560 trying to stop the
00:31:06.420 investigation.
00:31:07.120 They allowed the statute of
00:31:08.040 limitations to run on many of
00:31:10.380 the most serious violations.
00:31:13.060 Not only that, IRS whistleblower
00:31:15.820 Shapley testified that on
00:31:17.220 September 3rd, Assistant U.S.
00:31:19.780 Attorney Leslie Wolfe explicitly
00:31:21.320 told investigators that despite
00:31:23.020 having probable cause to
00:31:24.200 search, quote, there is no way
00:31:26.060 a search warrant would be
00:31:27.080 approved when the evidence in
00:31:29.300 question was located inside of
00:31:31.100 Vice President Biden's guest
00:31:32.460 house.
00:31:32.860 Wolfe stated that, quote, the
00:31:34.420 optics prevented such a search.
00:31:39.300 Is the FBI, do they make a
00:31:41.400 routine practice of allowing
00:31:42.980 partisan political optics to
00:31:44.820 prevent investigating serious
00:31:46.440 evidence of corruption?
00:31:47.280 My instructions to our people
00:31:50.720 on this and on every other
00:31:52.240 investigation are that we are
00:31:54.020 to follow the facts wherever
00:31:55.340 they lead, no matter who likes
00:31:56.960 it, no matter what political
00:31:58.260 influence there may be out

00:31:59.740 Then why did you get the GPS
00:32:00.140 data on where Hunter Biden
00:32:01.400 and Joe Biden were?

00:34:02.220 FBI has done nothing.

00:34:09.160 the oath to Congress and whether the
00:34:10.380 Attorney General obstructed justice?

00:34:44.600 execute a search warrant on a storage
00:34:46.400 unit used by Hunter Biden and instead
00:34:48.820 they tipped off Hunter Biden's lawyer
00:34:51.140 before the search warrant was carried out.
00:34:53.200 Is it typical FBI practice to tip off
00:34:55.560 the subject of a search warrant before
00:34:57.720 the search warrant so they can remove any
00:34:59.480 evidence that's incriminating?
00:35:01.560 What is typical is that when you're
00:35:04.060 dealing with an individual who has a
00:35:05.780 protective detail, it is typical for
00:35:08.740 agents to be in contact with the
00:35:10.580 subject's protective detail.
00:35:11.640 Does the protective detail guard the
00:35:13.360 storage unit?
00:35:14.360 Again, I can't speak to the storage
00:35:15.720 unit specifically, but I can tell you
00:35:17.660 is that when it comes to...
00:35:18.280 Why would the FBI tip off the
00:35:21.340 subject of a search warrant about the
00:35:23.940 storage unit that was going to be
00:35:25.160 searched beforehand?
00:35:26.140 Does that not undermine the very
00:35:28.560 essence of an investigation that DOJ is
00:35:31.060 purporting to undertake?
00:35:33.040 Again, I'm not going to be able to discuss
00:35:35.440 specific investigative sets that we're

00:35:38.880 answers these questions and it's why
00:35:40.660 people are furious with the cover-up
00:35:42.280 because you don't believe the FBI is
