00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.520 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.620 Welcome. It is a verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:09.980 It is after 11 o'clock at night.
00:00:12.600 I want you to understand when we're doing this is we're going to be talking about this breaking news
00:00:17.500 that deals with this retaliatory strike from Israel on Iran.
00:00:23.900 Senator, your initial thoughts to that.
00:00:25.800 Well, as we're recording this, it is 11, 12 p.m. on Thursday night.
00:00:31.100 And what we know right now is that Israel has launched what appears to be a series of coordinated attacks
00:00:37.540 against Iran in Syria, in Iraq, and Iran, all at the same time.
00:00:43.280 We'll get into that on this pod in greater detail.
00:00:46.480 We're also going to get into the Attorney General's testimony before Congress
00:00:49.860 as to the extraordinary threat fentanyl is,
00:00:53.060 that it's the most deadly drug threat that has ever faced this country,
00:00:56.120 and it is flooding across our southern border.
00:00:58.780 And finally, we're going to get into, in the face of fentanyl,
00:01:02.420 in the face of this invasion on our southern border,
00:01:05.060 every single Democrat defied the Constitution
00:01:07.800 and refused to even allow an impeachment trial.
00:01:10.840 I'm going to explain the constitutional issues there,
00:01:13.300 what happened, and it's going to make your blood boil.

00:03:02.460 Senator, this is not a surprise that Israel responded,
00:03:06.560 even though every single time they're attacked,
00:03:10.580 this administration, whether it's through the State Department
00:03:13.120 or through the President or through the White House spokesman
00:03:16.080 or Kirby at the White House,
00:03:18.080 they keep telling Israel, don't respond.
00:03:20.680 Don't react.
00:03:21.680 Don't defend yourself.
00:03:23.300 Don't, as they describe it, anything you do that looks aggressive,
00:03:26.220 we're going to say basically no to it.
00:03:28.560 Israel has a right to defend itself,
00:03:30.060 and clearly they said, we're going to take steps to do that right now.
00:03:33.400 Well, of course, Israel has a right to defend itself,
00:03:36.500 and of course that's what Israel is doing.
00:03:38.960 Part of the reason that we specified the time,
00:03:42.000 that this is shortly after 11 p.m. on Thursday,
00:03:44.460 is that it's unfolding literally this minute.
00:03:47.340 And so by the time this podcast posts on Friday morning,
00:03:51.300 there may have been many more developments throughout the night
00:03:54.060 and in the morning.
00:03:55.860 And indeed, even what we know now,
00:03:58.560 I have not had a classified briefing this evening,
00:04:01.020 so I don't have any insight beyond what has been publicly reported.
00:04:06.180 And there's always a fog of war when something is just breaking,
00:04:09.760 so we don't know the reliability of the early reports.
00:04:13.700 But what's being reported is that Israel launched a coordinated attack
00:04:18.040 using jets and using missiles against Iran,
00:04:22.300 but attacking Iran in at least three different places,
00:04:26.180 Syria, Iraq, and Iran.
00:04:28.180 And before we get to anything else, Ben,
00:04:30.640 it's worth noting that the scope of the attacks
00:04:34.260 show just how far Iran's reach has extended across the region.
00:04:39.360 What does it say that if you want to strike back at Iran,
00:04:42.120 you have to do it in Iran and Iraq and Syria,
00:04:45.540 because they're everywhere.
00:04:47.700 And understand, Iran is the most malevolent force in the Middle East.
00:04:53.120 They are funding the most dangerous terrorists on Earth.
00:04:57.100 They fund Hamas.
00:04:58.100 Ninety percent of Hamas's budget comes from Iran.
00:05:00.400 They fund Hezbollah.
00:05:01.700 Ninety percent of Hezbollah's budget comes from Iran.
00:05:05.120 And Iran, led by the Ayatollah and the Mullahs,
00:05:08.760 they routinely chant death to America and death to Israel.
00:05:13.500 And it's worth noting, as you just said,
00:05:17.620 from the instant October 7th happened,
00:05:21.020 the Biden administration has been telling Israel,
00:05:23.340 do not retaliate, do not defend yourself, do nothing.
00:05:25.860 From the instant Iran attacked Israel directly with over 300 drones and missiles,
00:05:34.960 again, the Biden administration's immediate refrain was,
00:05:38.520 do nothing, do not defend yourself, do not retaliate.
00:05:41.840 It was truly absurd.
00:05:43.940 But you have to understand, at every stage,
00:05:46.500 that has been the mantra of the Biden White House and the Democrats,
00:05:49.320 is they're undermining Israel's right to self-defense.
00:05:52.320 I think, absolutely, Israel should respond.
00:05:56.400 It is responding forcefully.
00:05:57.900 I expect them to respond significantly more forcefully.
00:06:01.700 I don't anticipate that this is the only response we will see,
00:06:05.560 and this may be...
00:06:06.300 That was the question I was going to ask you,
00:06:07.800 for just putting it in context so people understand,
00:06:09.940 is we're recording this after 11 o'clock at night tonight.
00:06:13.420 I don't think there's anybody that believes that this is the end of the response from Israel.
00:06:18.160 So it's probably more like the beginning of the response?
00:06:22.460 That's probably right, although I say we don't know.
00:06:24.980 We will see what unfolds.
00:06:27.660 But, you know, it was really striking that when the missiles,
00:06:32.840 and both ballistic missiles and cruise missiles and the drones,
00:06:37.480 over 300, were launched from Iran,
00:06:40.440 that there are a number of things that are really striking.
00:06:42.580 Number one, a bunch of them never even made it to Israel,
00:06:46.760 both because their technology was not great,
00:06:50.940 and also because they were shot down in the air.
00:06:53.420 They were shot down, number one, using Israel's missile defense,
00:06:57.140 using Iron Dome and Arrow 2 and 3, those systems.
00:07:00.840 But, number two, they were shot down with fighter jets.
00:07:03.600 And let me say something extraordinary.
00:07:05.440 So the fighter jets that were shooting them down,
00:07:07.260 my understanding is you had Israeli fighter jets,
00:07:09.780 but you also had American fighter jets that were assisting in shooting them down.
00:07:13.180 But you also had, and this is extraordinary,
00:07:17.220 Saudi fighter jets and Jordanian fighter jets.
00:07:21.760 Explain why that's so significant.
00:07:24.060 Look, if I'd have told you 10 years ago or even 5 years ago
00:07:28.580 that the Arabs would defend Israel
00:07:32.960 in a military attack against it from Iran,
00:07:37.920 that would have seemed absurd.
00:07:41.520 And it really is a testament.
00:07:43.480 It's a testament to the incredible progress that occurred
00:07:46.460 when Donald Trump was president,
00:07:48.860 the peace that was flowering in the Middle East,
00:07:52.700 the Abraham Accords,
00:07:53.840 where we started to see the Arabs and Israelis coming together.
00:07:57.420 And I'll tell you, a big part of what brought them together
00:07:59.620 was mutual concern over the danger Iran poses.
00:08:05.400 And this is the fruit of what was planted
00:08:13.900 during the Trump administration and the Abraham Accords.
00:08:16.380 But that being said, it's still remarkable.
00:08:19.200 I don't believe there is any precedent
00:08:21.500 for Arabs in conflict in support of Israel.
00:08:27.040 And so that's really quite remarkable.
00:08:29.920 And it does say something when the Arab states in the Middle East,
00:08:35.360 in some ways, may be more supportive of Israel
00:08:37.660 than the Biden White House.
00:08:40.020 Yeah, great point.
00:08:40.940 And there's also another question that I have for you.
00:08:43.320 And as I was watching right before we were going to record on CNN,
00:08:48.260 they were saying, well, now the world really has to be concerned
00:08:51.880 and worried of a massive,
00:08:55.260 and they were using these types of words,
00:08:57.440 massive retaliation from Iran should be expected
00:09:01.600 because Iran has said so.
00:09:03.240 They've said that they are going to unleash basically holy hell
00:09:06.080 in response to what Israel has just done.
00:09:11.000 And they said it's going to be on a level that, you know,
00:09:14.040 basically no one's ever seen before, yada, yada, yada.
00:09:17.560 And then they said, you know,
00:09:19.040 this is what the Biden administration
00:09:21.620 had been warning Israel about.
00:09:24.460 It is genuinely shocking to me
00:09:27.000 as I was watching that before we got on here
00:09:29.320 to think you just want Israel to just keep taking it indefinitely
00:09:34.000 and never defend themselves and never fight back
00:09:36.280 and not hit strategic targets
00:09:38.340 because of the threat
00:09:40.360 that is being given by the same country
00:09:43.440 that literally just attacked you.
00:09:45.180 What world are they living in?
00:09:46.940 Look, in many ways,
00:09:49.100 Joe Biden and the Democrats
00:09:50.240 are more supportive of Iran right now
00:09:52.700 than they are of Israel.
00:09:53.900 And that's an astonishing statement.
00:09:56.540 Israel is our closest ally in the Middle East.
00:09:58.700 They share our values.
00:10:00.060 They're an incredibly valuable military ally
00:10:03.060 to the United States.
00:10:04.200 Their intelligence saves the lives of Americans.
00:10:07.200 Their enemies are our enemies.
00:10:08.980 And yet, as we've discussed,
00:10:11.460 at every stage,
00:10:12.680 literally from the moment he was sworn in,
00:10:14.500 Joe Biden and the apparatchiks
00:10:16.800 in his administration
00:10:17.720 have been undermining Israel from day one.
00:10:21.380 And simultaneously,
00:10:23.240 they have been flooding money to Iran.
00:10:26.820 Billions of dollars.
00:10:27.940 And just a couple of weeks ago,
00:10:29.300 when I forced a vote on the Senate floor
00:10:32.000 that we should not send billions of dollars to Iran,
00:10:34.560 every single Democrat but one voted no.
00:10:37.740 The Democrats keep...
00:10:39.420 Look at it this way.
00:10:40.720 They want to send money to Iran,
00:10:42.380 and the Democrats are blocking
00:10:43.720 sending money to Israel.
00:10:45.440 That's extraordinary.
00:10:47.280 And it is...
00:10:48.940 Their radical base hates Israel.
00:10:53.880 The anti-Semitic radical left
00:10:56.900 that chants from the river to the sea,
00:10:59.540 that is who the Democrat Party
00:11:03.080 is terrified of,
00:11:05.180 and it's who's setting their tune.
00:11:08.120 And so even their talking points...
00:11:10.340 You know, look,
00:11:11.060 let's go back to October 7th.
00:11:12.500 Remember, the night of October 7th,
00:11:15.320 the Biden State Department tweeted out
00:11:17.160 that Israel should not retaliate.
00:11:18.780 That night,
00:11:19.780 as 1,200 Israelis
00:11:22.580 were being murdered,
00:11:24.420 as women and children
00:11:25.660 were being raped,
00:11:26.620 as some 30 Americans
00:11:28.520 were being murdered
00:11:30.020 and more were being kidnapped,
00:11:31.880 as hundreds of Israelis
00:11:33.240 were being kidnapped,
00:11:34.300 the Biden administration's
00:11:35.520 immediate reaction was
00:11:36.560 do not retaliate.
00:11:37.820 They did that on October 7th.
00:11:39.300 They did it again on October 8th.
00:11:40.800 Tony Blinken personally.
00:11:42.320 So that was the reaction
00:11:43.200 at the outset.
00:11:43.860 And understand,
00:11:45.060 who started this war?
00:11:46.660 It was Iran.
00:11:47.900 Iran funds Hezbollah.
00:11:49.220 Iran controls Hezbollah.
00:11:50.880 They are an Iran proxy.
00:11:52.780 The Wall Street Journal reported
00:11:54.160 that the Hamas terrorists
00:11:55.300 trained in Iran
00:11:57.060 for October 7th.
00:11:59.060 So it was Iran
00:12:00.060 that invaded Israel
00:12:01.480 and murdered 1,200 Israelis.
00:12:03.460 Imagine how America
00:12:04.980 would react if that happened.
00:12:06.660 And then it was Iran again
00:12:08.360 who escalated directly
00:12:09.880 firing missiles
00:12:10.860 and drones
00:12:11.900 from Iran into Israel.
00:12:13.440 Of course,
00:12:14.720 Israel is going to
00:12:15.540 defend itself
00:12:16.300 and retaliate.
00:12:17.200 It has to do so.
00:12:18.800 And yet,
00:12:19.320 the Biden administration
00:12:20.420 cannot refrain
00:12:21.520 from repeating
00:12:23.000 Iran's talking points
00:12:24.320 of,
00:12:24.620 oh, well,
00:12:24.880 this is terrible.
00:12:25.620 And now,
00:12:26.060 of course,
00:12:26.760 Iran is going to
00:12:27.500 respond massively.
00:12:29.260 How about having
00:12:30.040 a president telling Iran,
00:12:32.420 we stand with Israel.
00:12:34.540 Period.
00:12:35.260 The end.
00:12:35.900 That's what Biden
00:12:36.700 should be saying.
00:12:37.880 But it's not what he's saying.
00:12:39.580 You also have to wonder,
00:12:41.560 will this administration
00:12:42.880 change course?
00:12:44.420 And I've said this before.
00:12:45.800 You and I have had
00:12:46.260 this conversation
00:12:46.880 several times.
00:12:47.660 I never root
00:12:48.980 for the United States
00:12:50.520 America to fail
00:12:51.400 on national security
00:12:52.560 issues,
00:12:53.680 especially when it
00:12:54.800 deals with foreign
00:12:56.000 nations, right?
00:12:56.880 I don't care who
00:12:57.500 the president is.
00:12:58.320 I want Joe Biden
00:13:00.080 to be successful
00:13:00.980 in protecting and
00:13:01.960 defending us
00:13:02.840 always against
00:13:04.200 our adversaries
00:13:04.840 as well as our
00:13:05.740 allies.
00:13:06.600 And he clearly
00:13:07.800 has done a 180
00:13:08.740 from what the Trump
00:13:09.560 doctrine was,
00:13:10.420 foreign policy was,
00:13:11.420 and to stand with
00:13:12.080 Israel like you just
00:13:13.000 mentioned no matter
00:13:13.560 what.
00:13:14.840 This is not working.
00:13:16.400 This weak posture.
00:13:18.380 And just pause
00:13:19.460 and ask yourself
00:13:20.460 which was better,
00:13:22.600 peace and prosperity
00:13:23.880 or war everywhere
00:13:25.420 you look.
00:13:26.380 That's the result
00:13:27.200 of the Biden
00:13:27.660 foreign policy
00:13:28.440 is war everywhere.
00:13:29.920 That's the result
00:13:30.580 of the Biden
00:13:31.040 foreign policy
00:13:31.800 is our enemies
00:13:32.440 stronger,
00:13:33.500 emboldened,
00:13:34.240 and more threatening.
00:13:35.620 So will they
00:13:36.820 look at this
00:13:37.680 and at some point
00:13:38.540 do you believe
00:13:39.300 that they may
00:13:40.660 actually change course?
00:13:41.840 Because I mean it
00:13:42.520 sincerely when I say
00:13:43.460 I want us to be safe
00:13:44.980 and I want them
00:13:45.600 to protect Israel.
00:13:46.540 I think they are
00:13:47.800 ideologues,
00:13:48.720 I think they are
00:13:49.300 self-righteous,
00:13:50.140 I think they are
00:13:50.740 naive,
00:13:51.860 I think they believe
00:13:53.880 like a bunch of
00:13:55.740 college professors
00:13:57.320 in the faculty lounge
00:13:58.520 that Iran,
00:13:59.740 if we just give
00:14:00.420 peace a chance,
00:14:01.340 man,
00:14:01.760 you know,
00:14:02.020 Iran,
00:14:02.560 we don't have any
00:14:03.300 right to tell Iran
00:14:04.220 not to have nukes.
00:14:05.820 You know,
00:14:06.120 so what if they're
00:14:07.440 crazy religious zealots
00:14:08.660 who say they want
00:14:09.500 to murder us?
00:14:10.420 You know,
00:14:10.760 if we're just nice
00:14:11.680 to them,
00:14:12.120 if we just give them
00:14:12.780 a bunch of money,
00:14:13.760 they'll be our friends.
00:14:15.060 Look,
00:14:15.940 it is hopeless
00:14:17.620 naivete
00:14:18.420 and they believe it
00:14:19.820 like a religion.
00:14:21.660 They keep doing it.
00:14:23.580 Think of the
00:14:24.280 just how devoted
00:14:26.620 you have to be
00:14:28.440 to appeasement
00:14:29.280 to Iran
00:14:30.060 to in the wake
00:14:32.000 of October 7th
00:14:33.980 still refuse
00:14:35.860 to enforce
00:14:36.620 the oil sanctions
00:14:37.440 today.
00:14:38.740 Yeah.
00:14:39.740 Biden is not
00:14:40.680 enforcing the oil sanctions
00:14:41.580 and by the way,
00:14:42.460 it is also worth noting
00:14:43.960 today on Friday,
00:14:45.820 Biden is announcing
00:14:47.220 massive sanctions
00:14:48.400 against Alaska.
00:14:50.080 Our state,
00:14:51.620 the National Petroleum Reserve,
00:14:53.460 they are shutting down
00:14:54.420 production in.
00:14:55.640 It is an incredibly rich
00:14:57.160 petroleum reserve
00:14:58.140 in Alaska,
00:14:59.040 massive reserves.
00:15:00.540 So explain to me
00:15:01.980 how these anti-American
00:15:04.240 Marxist zealots
00:15:05.260 can possibly justify.
00:15:07.560 They hate oil
00:15:08.560 and gas in America.
00:15:09.380 They're going to destroy
00:15:10.120 jobs in America.
00:15:11.260 They're going to
00:15:11.760 drive up the cost
00:15:13.420 of gasoline
00:15:13.940 for Americans
00:15:14.560 in America,
00:15:15.120 but at the same time,
00:15:16.620 they're going to
00:15:17.040 allow Iran
00:15:17.740 to go from
00:15:18.880 300,000 barrels
00:15:19.940 a day of oil
00:15:20.620 to 2 million barrels
00:15:22.920 of oil a day.
00:15:24.080 That's what they're
00:15:24.580 doing right now.
00:15:26.260 And apparently,
00:15:27.520 Biden and the Democrats,
00:15:28.600 they only like oil
00:15:29.360 and gas
00:15:29.860 if it's produced
00:15:31.420 by crazed zealots
00:15:32.840 who want to murder us
00:15:33.980 and want to kill
00:15:34.900 as many Israelis
00:15:35.660 as possible.
00:15:36.280 What you just said
00:15:37.740 made me want to talk
00:15:38.640 about funding
00:15:39.240 for a second.
00:15:40.640 What is sad
00:15:41.560 is because
00:15:42.680 the position
00:15:43.360 that you just
00:15:43.920 mentioned,
00:15:45.100 the Biden administration
00:15:46.220 is absolutely
00:15:47.860 funding Iran
00:15:49.560 and their needs.
00:15:50.960 Yes.
00:15:51.520 What we're not
00:15:52.200 doing right now
00:15:53.100 is giving Israel
00:15:54.920 funding that they
00:15:56.160 need and aid
00:15:57.080 and support they
00:15:57.800 need and military
00:15:58.580 hardware that they
00:15:59.280 need from the
00:15:59.760 United States of
00:16:00.460 America.
00:16:01.340 How is that
00:16:02.340 possible?
00:16:02.880 because the
00:16:04.640 Democrat Party
00:16:05.560 is captured
00:16:06.700 by the radical
00:16:07.560 left and sadly
00:16:08.800 the mainstream
00:16:10.420 Democrat Party
00:16:11.680 has turned
00:16:13.220 against Israel.
00:16:14.320 It's not just
00:16:15.120 the fringe.
00:16:15.860 It's not just
00:16:16.420 Ilhan Omar
00:16:17.280 and Tlaib
00:16:18.360 and AOC.
00:16:19.400 It's not just
00:16:19.940 the whack jobs.
00:16:21.620 It's Chuck Schumer.
00:16:23.440 Chuck Schumer
00:16:24.100 is the one
00:16:24.520 that stood on the
00:16:25.140 floor and demanded
00:16:26.580 that Netanyahu
00:16:27.360 be thrown out of
00:16:28.140 office,
00:16:28.500 the democratically
00:16:29.140 elected leader
00:16:29.800 of Israel.
00:16:30.560 It's Joe Biden.
00:16:31.660 Joe Biden
00:16:32.200 is the one
00:16:33.420 who orchestrated
00:16:34.320 a resolution
00:16:35.940 in the United
00:16:36.540 Nations
00:16:36.940 effectively
00:16:37.420 condemning
00:16:38.580 Israel for
00:16:39.740 not having
00:16:40.260 an immediate
00:16:40.620 ceasefire.
00:16:41.820 It's Nancy
00:16:42.420 Pelosi
00:16:43.460 who signed
00:16:45.440 a letter
00:16:45.880 demanding
00:16:46.540 that America
00:16:47.520 cut off
00:16:48.220 weapons,
00:16:49.000 military weapons
00:16:49.840 for Israel
00:16:50.300 to defend
00:16:50.780 itself.
00:16:51.560 Those are
00:16:52.160 not fringe
00:16:53.340 Democrats.
00:16:54.460 Those are
00:16:54.940 the leading
00:16:55.760 Democrats in
00:16:56.900 office and
00:16:58.160 that's an
00:16:58.880 enormous problem.
00:16:59.640 I hit 40
00:17:01.620 a couple
00:17:02.000 years ago.
00:17:02.540 Now I'm 42
00:17:03.260 and I can tell
00:17:04.180 you the older
00:17:04.820 you get,
00:17:05.420 the more you
00:17:06.600 start to realize
00:17:07.560 stuff changes.
00:17:09.180 I didn't have
00:17:10.060 the same energy
00:17:10.920 to play sports
00:17:11.800 like I used to
00:17:12.600 and I played
00:17:13.100 in college.
00:17:13.860 I didn't have
00:17:14.740 the same energy
00:17:15.400 to work out.
00:17:16.620 I didn't have
00:17:16.940 the same energy
00:17:17.560 to go running
00:17:18.280 and that is
00:17:19.700 not because
00:17:20.960 I'm somehow
00:17:21.900 an anomaly.
00:17:22.740 It's because
00:17:23.100 the reality is
00:17:24.180 historically right
00:17:25.920 now testosterone
00:17:26.640 levels have
00:17:27.340 fallen off
00:17:28.080 a cliff
00:17:28.840 to an
00:17:29.320 all-time
00:17:29.720 low.
00:17:30.520 That's why
00:17:31.060 I want you
00:17:31.480 to know
00:17:31.720 about my
00:17:32.100 friends at
00:17:33.020 Chalk.
00:17:33.680 The patriots
00:17:34.620 at Chalk,
00:17:35.180 C-H-O-Q,
00:17:36.100 are here to
00:17:36.660 help real
00:17:37.340 American men
00:17:38.340 just like you
00:17:39.440 to take back
00:17:40.800 your right
00:17:41.280 to proudly
00:17:41.840 maximize your
00:17:43.020 masculinity by
00:17:43.880 boosting
00:17:44.480 testosterone
00:17:45.140 levels up
00:17:45.780 to 20%
00:17:46.900 over 90
00:17:47.800 days.
00:17:48.380 Now I've
00:17:48.920 been taking
00:17:49.520 Chalk's
00:17:50.040 Mal Vitality
00:17:50.720 Stack now
00:17:51.160 for about a
00:17:51.920 year and I
00:17:52.860 can tell you
00:17:53.560 it works.
00:17:54.340 In fact,
00:17:54.720 I've lost
00:17:55.260 over 50
00:17:56.040 pounds since
00:17:56.820 this time
00:17:57.520 last year
00:17:58.200 because I've
00:17:58.860 been working
00:17:59.320 out again,
00:17:59.920 been playing
00:18:00.460 sports again
00:18:01.200 and it is
00:18:02.020 a game
00:18:02.720 changer.
00:18:03.860 If you
00:18:04.820 are ready
00:18:05.280 to get
00:18:05.760 back that
00:18:07.020 strength and
00:18:07.880 vitality that
00:18:08.660 you've lost
00:18:09.240 and you're
00:18:09.540 ready to get
00:18:10.000 off the
00:18:10.400 couch,
00:18:11.200 you need
00:18:11.620 to check
00:18:12.020 out Chalk.
00:18:12.800 I've been
00:18:13.380 taking it,
00:18:13.940 like I said,
00:18:14.500 for over a
00:18:15.320 year.
00:18:15.800 It works.
00:18:16.840 That's the
00:18:17.320 whole story.
00:18:18.200 It's manufactured
00:18:18.840 right here in
00:18:19.340 the U.S. of
00:18:19.780 A.

00:18:54.160 Senator,
00:18:54.620 finally,
00:18:55.580 when it comes
00:18:56.180 to the aid
00:18:57.300 package that
00:18:58.240 Israel needs,
00:18:59.600 what does it
00:19:00.420 look like and
00:19:01.340 how quickly are
00:19:02.160 we going to get
00:19:02.580 an answer for
00:19:03.260 Israel,
00:19:04.180 especially if
00:19:05.180 this turns into
00:19:06.380 a significant
00:19:07.360 military conflict
00:19:09.200 between them
00:19:10.560 and Iran that
00:19:11.680 goes back and
00:19:12.400 forth?
00:19:12.740 They need it
00:19:13.280 now.
00:19:14.080 Well,
00:19:14.740 that's up in
00:19:15.660 the air right
00:19:16.280 now.
00:19:16.800 As we sit
00:19:17.780 here tonight,
00:19:18.580 the House is
00:19:19.080 in the middle
00:19:19.440 of debating
00:19:19.940 that question
00:19:20.640 right now,
00:19:21.200 and they're
00:19:21.420 trying to put
00:19:21.980 together an
00:19:22.460 aid package
00:19:22.980 and vote it
00:19:23.520 out.
00:19:24.120 They're putting
00:19:24.560 together a
00:19:25.120 big supplemental
00:19:25.840 bill that
00:19:26.480 they're talking
00:19:27.140 about including
00:19:27.900 Israel aid in,
00:19:28.980 that they're
00:19:29.240 talking about
00:19:29.940 including Ukraine
00:19:31.120 aid in,
00:19:31.800 which is going
00:19:32.240 to split some
00:19:33.020 members of the
00:19:33.800 House and some
00:19:34.340 members of the
00:19:34.860 Senate.
00:19:35.480 They're talking
00:19:36.040 about including
00:19:36.700 their bill forcing
00:19:38.100 China to sell
00:19:38.960 TikTok, which is a
00:19:40.100 very important
00:19:40.760 bill.
00:19:41.820 It's going to be
00:19:42.600 a big,
00:19:43.100 complicated,
00:19:43.760 supplemental.
00:19:44.380 It's not clear
00:19:45.060 right now that
00:19:46.300 they're going to
00:19:46.620 get the votes to
00:19:47.300 pass any of it,
00:19:48.160 but they are
00:19:48.720 actively battling
00:19:49.900 it out in the
00:19:50.720 House right now
00:19:51.580 as we speak.
00:19:52.820 We'll keep you
00:19:53.280 updated on this
00:19:54.000 as it's going to
00:19:54.540 be a very quick
00:19:55.820 moving next,
00:19:57.140 I think,
00:19:57.360 week,
00:19:57.620 week and a half
00:19:58.160 on these issues.
00:19:59.160 We will cover
00:19:59.680 it all for you.
00:20:00.740 There's also
00:20:01.300 another big
00:20:02.020 warning and a
00:20:02.960 moment of honesty
00:20:04.240 that came from
00:20:05.180 the Attorney General
00:20:06.220 Merrick Garland.
00:20:07.680 He was in front of
00:20:08.480 Hold on a second.
00:20:09.340 Did you just say
00:20:09.900 honesty from the
00:20:10.740 Attorney General
00:20:11.320 Merrick Garland?
00:20:12.060 I know,
00:20:12.680 I know.
00:20:13.040 It's everybody
00:20:13.880 get right with
00:20:14.600 the Lord because
00:20:15.200 it could be
00:20:15.700 rapture alert here.
00:20:17.240 Holy cow,
00:20:18.260 that is a sign
00:20:19.440 of the end times.
00:20:21.920 I was wondering
00:20:22.760 if you were going
00:20:23.220 to let me get
00:20:23.640 away with that
00:20:24.260 moment and
00:20:24.900 clearly,
00:20:25.480 see,
00:20:25.640 this is why I
00:20:26.260 love doing this
00:20:26.880 show because I was
00:20:27.700 like,
00:20:27.900 am I setting him up?
00:20:28.820 And yes,
00:20:29.240 you took the opportunity.
00:20:30.680 Of course,
00:20:31.160 the man is so
00:20:32.560 smug and so
00:20:33.420 dishonest.
00:20:34.520 All right,
00:20:35.200 so what did
00:20:36.320 he say?
00:20:36.940 I mean,
00:20:37.160 I suppose even a
00:20:38.080 stop clock is
00:20:38.780 right twice a day.
00:20:39.620 What did he say
00:20:40.640 that was actually
00:20:41.760 honest?
00:20:42.340 So the Attorney
00:20:43.160 General was asked
00:20:44.360 about how bad
00:20:46.340 the fentanyl,
00:20:48.880 not only deaths
00:20:50.520 and abuse are,
00:20:51.780 but how much is
00:20:52.600 coming across the
00:20:53.520 border and how big
00:20:54.200 of a threat does
00:20:54.740 he see as the
00:20:55.240 Attorney General?
00:20:56.420 He was asked this
00:20:57.320 question and I
00:20:58.040 want to play it.
00:20:58.700 It's a little bit
00:20:59.680 longer,
00:21:00.280 but it's important
00:21:01.440 because I want you
00:21:02.320 to hear what he said
00:21:03.200 and the reason why
00:21:04.420 I think this is so
00:21:05.200 important is we also
00:21:06.640 have to tie this back
00:21:07.500 to the impeachment
00:21:08.420 of the man,
00:21:11.260 Mayorkas,
00:21:12.120 who Democrats
00:21:12.940 refuse to move on.
00:21:14.180 So at the same time
00:21:15.020 they're doing that,
00:21:16.300 you have the
00:21:17.000 Attorney General
00:21:17.440 going,
00:21:17.720 yeah,
00:21:17.940 yeah,
00:21:18.060 we got a major
00:21:18.660 problem with fentanyl
00:21:19.540 in this country.
00:21:20.140 It's killing a hell
00:21:20.600 of a lot of people
00:21:21.200 here.
00:21:21.560 Take a listen.
00:21:23.340 Senator Moran
00:21:24.140 and I both
00:21:24.760 mentioned in our
00:21:25.480 opening statements,
00:21:26.380 as did you
00:21:27.220 the continuing
00:21:29.580 fight against
00:21:31.180 the opioid epidemic,
00:21:34.060 substance misuse,
00:21:35.660 the drug cartels.
00:21:37.440 I continue to be
00:21:38.860 very concerned
00:21:39.620 about fentanyl
00:21:40.820 use and poisoning.
00:21:42.760 New Hampshire
00:21:43.260 has lost too many
00:21:45.180 people to
00:21:46.040 fentanyl overdoses.
00:21:47.940 Can you talk
00:21:48.600 a little bit
00:21:49.060 about DOJ's
00:21:50.300 efforts to
00:21:50.900 interdict
00:21:51.480 these drugs
00:21:52.660 and efforts
00:21:54.780 to find a way
00:21:55.860 to prosecute
00:21:56.600 those responsible?
00:21:58.500 Yes,
00:21:58.820 Senator.
00:21:59.540 I have said
00:22:00.780 and I deeply
00:22:01.640 mean this,
00:22:02.460 that fentanyl
00:22:03.620 is the deadliest
00:22:04.540 drug threat
00:22:05.520 that this country
00:22:06.280 has ever faced.
00:22:08.020 I've met
00:22:09.600 with families
00:22:11.080 at the DEA
00:22:12.520 whose children,
00:22:14.540 whose teenagers,
00:22:16.040 whose infants,
00:22:17.580 whose grandparents
00:22:18.620 have died,
00:22:19.900 mostly not even
00:22:23.720 knowing that what
00:22:24.480 they're taking
00:22:25.000 is fentanyl,
00:22:25.860 thinking it's
00:22:26.340 another kind of
00:22:27.340 prescription pill
00:22:28.160 that they were
00:22:28.580 able to get
00:22:29.020 over the internet.
00:22:31.620 We don't even
00:22:32.640 refer to this
00:22:33.300 as overdoses
00:22:34.440 anymore.
00:22:35.060 We refer to this
00:22:35.460 as drug poisoning
00:22:36.260 because that's
00:22:36.840 what it is.
00:22:37.360 So we are
00:22:38.500 facing this
00:22:39.160 with the urgency
00:22:40.000 it requires.
00:22:41.480 Let me just
00:22:42.100 stop there.
00:22:42.900 He says
00:22:43.520 we are facing
00:22:44.260 this with
00:22:45.520 the urgency
00:22:46.220 that it
00:22:47.200 requires.
00:22:48.540 If this is
00:22:49.660 as urgent
00:22:50.160 as he just
00:22:50.780 said,
00:22:51.680 and I want
00:22:52.280 to read that
00:22:53.040 back to you,
00:22:53.580 Senator,
00:22:53.800 I have said
00:22:54.520 and I deeply
00:22:55.100 mean this,
00:22:56.340 that fentanyl
00:22:56.960 is the deadliest
00:22:57.700 drug threat
00:22:58.480 that this country
00:22:59.380 has ever faced.
00:23:01.040 I've met
00:23:01.500 with the families
00:23:02.180 at the DEA
00:23:03.180 whose children,
00:23:04.360 whose teenagers,
00:23:04.940 whose infants,
00:23:06.800 whose grandparents
00:23:07.580 have died mostly
00:23:08.440 not even knowing
00:23:09.440 that what they
00:23:10.560 were taking
00:23:11.080 is fentanyl,
00:23:12.040 thinking it's
00:23:12.760 another kind
00:23:13.440 of a prescription
00:23:14.160 pill that they
00:23:15.280 are able to get
00:23:16.100 over the internet.
00:23:18.380 We don't even
00:23:19.420 refer to this
00:23:20.460 as overdoses
00:23:21.640 anymore.
00:23:22.580 This is
00:23:23.520 drug poisoning
00:23:25.640 because that's
00:23:26.640 what it is.
00:23:27.340 So,
00:23:27.880 then he says
00:23:28.860 that we are
00:23:29.960 facing this
00:23:31.360 with the urgency
00:23:32.840 that it requires.
00:23:33.900 If that was
00:23:34.640 true,
00:23:35.380 Senator,
00:23:36.220 wouldn't you
00:23:36.960 be then
00:23:37.520 closing the
00:23:38.280 southern border
00:23:38.860 and not having
00:23:39.480 it wide open
00:23:40.240 like it is
00:23:40.740 right now?
00:23:42.520 Of course.
00:23:43.820 This is not
00:23:44.620 complicated.
00:23:46.460 The drug
00:23:47.440 traffickers
00:23:48.080 are the human
00:23:49.420 traffickers.
00:23:50.180 It's the same
00:23:50.760 drug cartels.
00:23:52.220 In 2018,
00:23:53.920 the drug cartels
00:23:55.260 made $500 million
00:23:56.520 from human
00:23:57.400 trafficking.
00:23:58.580 In 2022,
00:24:00.540 they made
00:24:01.260 $13 billion
00:24:03.320 from human
00:24:04.980 trafficking.
00:24:05.500 That's a
00:24:05.940 2,600%
00:24:07.240 increase.
00:24:08.300 The people
00:24:08.640 making fentanyl
00:24:09.620 are getting
00:24:10.640 extraordinarily rich
00:24:12.220 under Joe Biden
00:24:13.700 and Alejandro
00:24:14.360 Mayorkas and
00:24:15.420 Merrick Garland's
00:24:16.280 open borders.
00:24:17.280 They are flooding
00:24:18.380 the border.
00:24:19.240 And the human
00:24:20.400 trafficking and
00:24:21.120 drug trafficking
00:24:21.800 are completely
00:24:23.120 intertwined.
00:24:24.200 It's the same
00:24:24.760 people doing it.
00:24:25.820 It's the same
00:24:26.460 cartels doing it.
00:24:27.440 And the way
00:24:27.820 they do it
00:24:28.520 is they'll
00:24:29.120 send a flood
00:24:29.780 of migrants
00:24:30.280 over one
00:24:30.800 portion of
00:24:31.280 the river
00:24:31.620 and Border
00:24:32.380 Patrol will
00:24:33.020 all go there.
00:24:34.500 And while Border
00:24:35.120 Patrol is
00:24:35.840 dealing with
00:24:36.440 the migrants,
00:24:36.940 and by the way,
00:24:38.180 because Biden's
00:24:39.320 policy is
00:24:40.120 catch and
00:24:40.540 release,
00:24:41.400 once Border
00:24:42.060 Patrol
00:24:42.620 apprehends a
00:24:44.320 group,
00:24:44.580 and let's be
00:24:44.980 clear,
00:24:45.300 the group is
00:24:45.840 normally finding
00:24:46.620 Border Patrol
00:24:47.140 and turning
00:24:47.540 themselves in,
00:24:48.760 then the
00:24:50.560 majority of
00:24:51.340 agents are
00:24:51.880 spending their
00:24:52.480 time processing
00:24:53.620 those migrants
00:24:54.460 or staying with
00:24:55.740 them in the
00:24:56.060 detention facilities
00:24:57.140 or getting
00:24:58.280 them diapers
00:24:58.860 or getting
00:24:59.260 them food
00:24:59.740 or caring
00:25:00.320 for this
00:25:00.900 massive influx.
00:25:02.000 And so the
00:25:02.320 percentage of
00:25:03.500 agents on
00:25:04.460 the border
00:25:04.960 that are
00:25:05.240 actually deployed
00:25:06.080 drops precipitously
00:25:07.960 because the
00:25:08.520 vast majority
00:25:09.160 of the agents
00:25:09.720 are processing
00:25:10.820 migrants and
00:25:11.600 doing administrative
00:25:12.400 work.
00:25:13.240 And then what
00:25:15.060 the cartels do
00:25:16.080 is a mile up
00:25:16.760 the river,
00:25:17.200 that's where
00:25:17.540 they move
00:25:17.800 the fentanyl
00:25:18.240 across.
00:25:18.700 When the Border
00:25:19.100 Patrol agents
00:25:19.800 are dealing
00:25:20.800 with the
00:25:21.800 illegal immigrants,
00:25:22.920 they move
00:25:23.520 the fentanyl
00:25:24.060 somewhere else.
00:25:24.760 And so the
00:25:25.200 two are very
00:25:26.260 closely
00:25:26.740 intertwined.
00:25:27.580 And if Joe
00:25:29.100 Biden and
00:25:29.660 Mayorkas and
00:25:30.360 Garland were
00:25:30.880 willing to
00:25:31.320 deport illegal
00:25:32.440 immigrants and
00:25:33.020 follow the law,
00:25:34.000 what that would
00:25:35.060 mean is that
00:25:36.040 Border Patrol
00:25:36.580 agents could
00:25:37.200 be on the
00:25:37.720 border and
00:25:38.500 stop the
00:25:39.300 fentanyl from
00:25:39.940 coming in,
00:25:40.860 but they can't.
00:25:42.360 And I'll tell
00:25:42.880 you, I'll give
00:25:43.420 you some amazing
00:25:44.600 stats.
00:25:45.600 So do you
00:25:46.100 know how
00:25:46.480 much drugs
00:25:49.120 were seized
00:25:50.060 at the
00:25:50.920 southern border
00:25:51.580 in March,
00:25:52.420 in one month?
00:25:53.540 How much?
00:25:54.060 Of fentanyl,
00:25:56.340 1,389 pounds.
00:26:00.160 And understand,
00:26:01.080 look, fentanyl
00:26:01.740 is so powerful,
00:26:03.340 just a tiny
00:26:04.200 grain or two
00:26:05.140 is enough to
00:26:05.740 kill you.
00:26:06.900 Canadian women
00:26:07.700 are looking for
00:26:08.380 more.
00:26:09.020 More out of
00:26:09.380 themselves,
00:26:10.080 their businesses,
00:26:11.020 their elected
00:26:11.440 leaders,
00:26:11.980 and the world
00:26:12.540 around them.
00:26:13.180 And that's why
00:26:13.660 we're thrilled to
00:26:14.360 introduce the
00:26:15.180 Honest Talk
00:26:15.840 podcast.
00:26:16.940 I'm Jennifer
00:26:17.440 Stewart.
00:26:18.100 And I'm
00:26:18.420 Catherine Clark.
00:26:19.080 And in this
00:26:19.800 podcast,
00:26:20.500 we interview
00:26:20.960 Canada's most
00:26:21.760 inspiring women,
00:26:22.940 entrepreneurs,
00:26:23.780 artists,
00:26:24.460 athletes,
00:26:25.060 politicians,
00:26:25.780 and newsmakers,
00:26:26.660 all at different
00:26:27.340 stages of their
00:26:28.220 journey.
00:26:28.840 So if you're
00:26:29.600 looking to
00:26:30.040 connect,
00:26:30.660 then we hope
00:26:31.080 you'll join us.
00:26:32.080 Listen to the
00:26:32.500 Honest Talk
00:26:32.920 podcast on
00:26:33.640 iHeartRadio or
00:26:34.660 wherever you
00:26:35.220 listen to your
00:26:35.640 podcasts.
00:26:37.820 Tell the story,
00:26:38.780 you told us a
00:26:39.260 while ago,
00:26:39.820 but I think it's
00:26:40.300 important for people
00:26:41.100 to understand it
00:26:41.860 just so that they
00:26:42.900 have context.
00:26:44.160 Fentanyl is not
00:26:45.000 a heavy drug,
00:26:46.120 okay?
00:26:46.460 Like you see like
00:26:47.380 a kilo of
00:26:47.940 cocaine and
00:26:49.200 it looks pretty
00:26:50.120 heavy and
00:26:51.500 pretty dense.
00:26:52.620 And then you
00:26:53.300 look at,
00:26:53.740 you know,
00:26:54.080 a kilo,
00:26:55.340 for example,
00:26:55.880 of marijuana.
00:26:56.840 It's obviously a
00:26:57.840 pretty big package,
00:26:59.380 but there's,
00:27:00.300 talk about the
00:27:01.020 grains when you
00:27:01.920 met with the
00:27:03.280 agents that
00:27:03.740 explained just
00:27:04.360 how little can
00:27:05.020 kill you and
00:27:05.560 the story that
00:27:06.380 you told with
00:27:06.840 your own
00:27:07.120 daughters using
00:27:07.900 a sweet and
00:27:08.380 low packet.
00:27:09.360 Yeah,
00:27:09.500 this is something
00:27:10.120 that a DEA
00:27:10.920 agent told me.
00:27:13.120 And he had me
00:27:13.840 and several other
00:27:14.500 people take out
00:27:15.520 a packet of
00:27:16.400 sweet and low.
00:27:17.380 And tear open
00:27:18.540 the packet of
00:27:19.060 sweet and low
00:27:19.520 and dump all
00:27:20.680 the contents out,
00:27:21.420 empty all the
00:27:21.920 contents.
00:27:23.220 And then he
00:27:23.660 said,
00:27:23.940 okay,
00:27:24.200 stick your
00:27:24.660 pinky in the
00:27:25.340 empty bag of
00:27:28.060 sweet and low.
00:27:28.820 And you pull
00:27:29.440 your pinky out
00:27:30.200 and there are
00:27:30.540 two or three
00:27:31.220 little grains
00:27:32.120 that are on
00:27:32.540 your pinky.
00:27:33.700 He said,
00:27:34.120 that's enough
00:27:34.580 fentanyl to
00:27:35.000 kill you.
00:27:36.080 Just the
00:27:36.680 residue that's
00:27:37.460 in the packet
00:27:37.960 after you've
00:27:38.620 emptied it.
00:27:39.660 And so what
00:27:40.700 I did with
00:27:41.280 both my
00:27:41.720 daughters is I
00:27:42.440 got three
00:27:43.660 packets of
00:27:44.440 sweet and low
00:27:45.000 and I tore
00:27:45.500 one open,
00:27:46.040 I had them
00:27:46.440 tear it open,
00:27:47.360 I had them
00:27:47.760 empty out
00:27:48.280 the contents,
00:27:49.960 and then do
00:27:50.960 exactly that
00:27:51.820 because look,
00:27:52.380 it's terrifying.
00:27:53.260 My girls are
00:27:53.860 13 and 16,
00:27:55.080 they're good
00:27:55.620 kids.
00:27:56.700 But what is
00:27:57.280 so frightening
00:27:58.280 about this
00:27:59.000 epidemic is
00:28:00.380 it's not,
00:28:01.100 look,
00:28:01.280 it's one thing
00:28:02.040 if a heroin
00:28:03.400 junkie on the
00:28:04.240 street who's
00:28:05.420 abusing drugs
00:28:06.300 for years and
00:28:06.980 years and
00:28:07.400 years,
00:28:07.820 if they
00:28:08.340 overdose,
00:28:09.020 that's sad
00:28:09.940 when anyone
00:28:10.380 dies,
00:28:11.020 but that's
00:28:12.000 the result
00:28:12.620 of extended
00:28:13.740 conduct.
00:28:15.020 What is
00:28:15.720 terrifying about
00:28:16.640 this crisis
00:28:17.300 is the people
00:28:17.980 who are dying
00:28:18.680 are not
00:28:19.620 drug addicts
00:28:20.760 and in many
00:28:21.160 instances they're
00:28:21.800 not even drug
00:28:22.740 users in the
00:28:23.600 ordinary sense
00:28:24.260 of things,
00:28:25.720 they're a
00:28:26.400 teenager or
00:28:28.220 a young adult
00:28:29.240 who goes to
00:28:30.200 a party and
00:28:30.760 they're at a
00:28:31.160 party and
00:28:31.680 someone says,
00:28:32.460 hey, you want
00:28:33.740 to try a
00:28:34.380 Xanax, you
00:28:35.180 want to try a
00:28:36.060 Percocet, you
00:28:36.740 want to try,
00:28:37.260 you know,
00:28:38.560 a Ritalin.
00:28:41.640 And look,
00:28:42.520 should you take
00:28:43.560 those drugs if
00:28:44.340 they're not
00:28:44.660 prescribed to
00:28:45.240 you?
00:28:45.380 No, but a
00:28:47.180 teenager doing
00:28:48.100 that, that
00:28:48.780 didn't used to
00:28:49.820 be a death
00:28:50.560 sentence because
00:28:51.920 if they get a
00:28:52.700 pill that
00:28:53.200 someone say got
00:28:54.220 on the internet
00:28:54.720 and it happens
00:28:55.460 to have fentanyl
00:28:56.820 in it, they
00:28:57.300 literally can
00:28:59.040 drop dead and
00:29:00.160 that is happening
00:29:01.020 over and over
00:29:02.280 and over again.
00:29:02.840 I'll give you
00:29:03.120 an amazing stat.
00:29:03.860 You go back to
00:29:04.740 Garland's exact
00:29:05.420 words and I
00:29:06.380 think it's
00:29:06.640 important that
00:29:07.080 people hear
00:29:07.440 this as he
00:29:07.940 described it.
00:29:08.420 We don't
00:29:08.800 even refer to
00:29:09.540 this as an
00:29:10.160 overdose or
00:29:11.820 overdose anymore.
00:29:13.400 This is drug
00:29:14.240 poisoning because
00:29:15.220 that's what it
00:29:15.880 is.
00:29:16.440 Right.
00:29:16.860 This is a
00:29:17.600 point I've
00:29:18.120 tried with my
00:29:18.960 kids to
00:29:19.420 emphasize it,
00:29:20.260 but it's
00:29:20.680 frightening because
00:29:21.540 look, teenagers
00:29:22.540 do stupid
00:29:23.120 things and
00:29:24.580 it can be
00:29:26.940 just one
00:29:27.780 random and
00:29:28.400 the reason why
00:29:29.320 Garland is
00:29:30.100 right to use
00:29:30.680 the term
00:29:31.080 poisoning because
00:29:31.840 an overdose
00:29:32.360 suggests a
00:29:33.720 drug user that
00:29:34.700 takes too
00:29:35.460 much.
00:29:36.700 And what's
00:29:37.260 happening with
00:29:37.920 fentanyl is
00:29:39.540 you have
00:29:40.240 things that
00:29:40.780 are laced
00:29:41.240 with fentanyl
00:29:42.400 that they
00:29:43.360 don't know
00:29:44.060 they're taking
00:29:44.760 fentanyl.
00:29:45.320 That's why it's
00:29:45.920 a poisoning
00:29:46.420 because taking a
00:29:47.680 Xanax pill will
00:29:48.400 not kill you.
00:29:49.820 But if there's
00:29:50.400 fentanyl in it and
00:29:51.200 if there's a little
00:29:52.640 bit too much,
00:29:53.600 you can literally
00:29:54.220 just drop dead
00:29:54.920 right there.
00:29:55.320 And here is the
00:29:57.060 stat that is
00:29:57.660 amazing and
00:29:58.340 terrifying.
00:29:59.720 Right now
00:30:00.180 today, fentanyl
00:30:01.940 is the number
00:30:02.800 one cause of
00:30:03.880 death for
00:30:04.420 Americans age
00:30:05.400 18 to 45.
00:30:07.320 Number one.
00:30:08.200 Number one.
00:30:09.100 More than car
00:30:09.860 accidents, more
00:30:10.700 than heart disease,
00:30:12.040 more than anything.
00:30:12.960 By the way, did
00:30:13.480 you say to 45?
00:30:15.020 18 to 45.
00:30:16.300 So what that
00:30:17.240 means is if you
00:30:18.040 remember at the
00:30:18.740 end of last year,
00:30:19.620 it was 18 to
00:30:20.480 39.
00:30:21.240 So it's
00:30:21.740 expanded now to
00:30:22.820 45.
00:30:24.760 I'm not sure
00:30:25.980 if the numbers
00:30:27.980 have expanded or
00:30:28.900 just the category
00:30:29.800 that I'm looking
00:30:31.820 at, but 18 to
00:30:32.580 45, it's the
00:30:33.420 number one cause
00:30:34.080 of death.
00:30:35.180 Wow.
00:30:35.960 And here, let me
00:30:37.120 give you a quote
00:30:37.820 from Biden's DEA
00:30:39.920 administrator, Ann
00:30:40.880 Milgram.
00:30:41.440 She said,
00:30:42.000 cartels are
00:30:42.920 quote, killing
00:30:44.360 Americans with
00:30:45.320 fentanyl at
00:30:46.940 catastrophic and
00:30:48.320 record rates like
00:30:49.720 we've never
00:30:50.600 seen before.
00:30:52.960 And that begs
00:30:54.020 the question,
00:30:54.840 then why the
00:30:55.760 hell are you
00:30:56.460 making cartels
00:30:57.460 incredibly rich
00:30:58.940 and allowing
00:31:01.020 them to bring
00:31:01.920 10.4 million
00:31:04.320 illegal immigrants
00:31:05.500 into this
00:31:05.980 country?
00:31:06.860 Senator, I'm
00:31:07.580 not sure what's
00:31:08.320 worse.
00:31:09.260 Is it the fact
00:31:10.480 that we have an
00:31:11.240 attorney general
00:31:11.760 that is genuinely
00:31:13.160 being honest now
00:31:15.300 with the American
00:31:15.800 people about the
00:31:16.480 threat, talking
00:31:17.860 about this being
00:31:18.600 the number one
00:31:19.040 killer for those
00:31:19.720 45 to 18 in
00:31:20.860 this country,
00:31:21.400 and knowing
00:31:23.360 it and
00:31:23.840 publicizing it,
00:31:25.740 and then yet
00:31:26.440 they're not
00:31:27.600 doing a damn
00:31:28.200 thing to stop
00:31:29.200 the flow of
00:31:30.680 the drug coming
00:31:31.540 across the
00:31:32.760 southern border
00:31:33.600 or securing
00:31:34.880 that border.
00:31:36.020 So what is the
00:31:36.620 takeaway for the
00:31:37.360 American people?
00:31:38.020 We know that
00:31:38.600 you're dying at
00:31:39.180 record rates,
00:31:39.880 but we need
00:31:41.200 illegal immigrants
00:31:41.880 to come in to
00:31:42.580 fundamentally change
00:31:43.180 this country,
00:31:43.600 so we're willing
00:31:44.580 to sacrifice your
00:31:46.040 lives and your
00:31:46.720 kids' lives and
00:31:47.800 your grandparents'
00:31:48.540 lives?
00:31:49.260 So Ben, I'm
00:31:49.900 going to give
00:31:50.140 you the very
00:31:50.540 sad takeaway.
00:31:52.100 The Democrats
00:31:52.880 simply do not
00:31:54.180 care.
00:31:54.560 Now that sounds
00:31:55.220 harsh, that
00:31:55.800 sounds political,
00:31:56.620 but what other
00:31:58.020 conclusion can
00:31:59.960 you draw when
00:32:01.640 they continue to
00:32:02.640 put in place the
00:32:03.500 policies that
00:32:04.620 enriches the
00:32:05.480 cartels and
00:32:06.920 that allows them
00:32:07.920 to keep flooding
00:32:08.680 this country with
00:32:09.500 fentanyl?
00:32:10.380 And, you know,
00:32:11.020 there's some irony
00:32:11.940 about that exchange,
00:32:13.080 so the senator who
00:32:14.080 was questioning
00:32:14.720 Merrick Garland
00:32:15.680 was Gene Shaheen.
00:32:16.520 Gene Shaheen is a
00:32:17.740 Democrat from
00:32:18.500 New Hampshire.
00:32:20.320 Literally, the
00:32:21.980 day before,
00:32:22.980 yesterday, Gene
00:32:24.740 Shaheen sat on
00:32:25.660 the Senate floor
00:32:26.360 along with every
00:32:27.580 single Democrat
00:32:28.680 and voted to
00:32:31.900 shut down, to
00:32:32.860 not have a
00:32:33.780 trial on
00:32:35.280 Alejandro
00:32:35.780 Mayorkas, to
00:32:36.480 block even
00:32:37.780 one word of
00:32:39.600 testimony, to
00:32:40.460 block any and
00:32:41.440 all evidence of
00:32:43.780 the invasion at
00:32:44.620 our southern border,
00:32:45.500 any and all
00:32:46.040 evidence of the
00:32:47.280 fentanyl poisonings.
00:32:48.560 That was a
00:32:49.520 major element of
00:32:50.920 why Mayorkas was
00:32:52.440 impeached, and
00:32:53.960 every single
00:32:55.200 Democrat voted
00:32:55.960 straight party
00:32:56.700 line.
00:32:57.540 Look, the vote on
00:32:58.800 Wednesday, you
00:33:00.760 need to understand
00:33:01.620 how dramatic and
00:33:03.720 unprecedented it
00:33:04.780 was.
00:33:06.240 And let me say
00:33:07.420 on two fronts.
00:33:09.320 Number one,
00:33:10.720 22 times in our
00:33:11.880 nation's history,
00:33:13.420 the House of
00:33:13.960 Representatives has
00:33:14.900 voted to
00:33:15.600 impeach an
00:33:16.180 individual and
00:33:16.840 has sent
00:33:17.200 articles of
00:33:17.780 impeachment to
00:33:18.320 the Senate,
00:33:18.740 22 times.
00:33:21.240 Prior to
00:33:22.020 yesterday, the
00:33:24.020 21 times in
00:33:25.540 every single
00:33:26.680 time when the
00:33:27.480 Senate had
00:33:27.900 jurisdiction, in
00:33:28.660 other words, when
00:33:29.500 the person who
00:33:30.040 had been impeached
00:33:30.760 hadn't died or
00:33:32.180 resigned from
00:33:32.820 office, every
00:33:35.040 single time the
00:33:36.180 Senate held a
00:33:36.800 trial, heard
00:33:37.980 evidence, and
00:33:39.780 then the
00:33:40.160 senators adjudicated
00:33:41.460 the case, voted
00:33:42.420 guilty or not
00:33:43.220 guilty.
00:33:44.300 Yesterday is the
00:33:45.300 first time in
00:33:45.920 over 200 years of
00:33:46.780 our nation's
00:33:47.240 history where the
00:33:47.720 Senate refused to
00:33:48.540 do its job, and
00:33:49.780 it defied the
00:33:51.540 Constitution.
00:33:53.040 And listen, I
00:33:53.780 remember well, I
00:33:54.540 was standing on
00:33:55.360 the Senate floor
00:33:56.100 when Harry Reid,
00:33:57.680 then the Senate
00:33:58.440 majority leader in
00:33:59.280 2013, the
00:34:00.800 Democrat, exercised
00:34:02.420 the nuclear option
00:34:03.480 and blew up the
00:34:05.220 Senate filibuster for
00:34:07.140 appointees.
00:34:08.540 And it did
00:34:09.740 enormous damage to
00:34:11.700 the Senate.
00:34:12.200 It broke the
00:34:12.920 rules of the
00:34:13.460 Senate.
00:34:14.120 And I remember
00:34:14.840 turning to Amy
00:34:16.980 Klobuchar, Democrat
00:34:18.080 senator from
00:34:18.680 Minnesota at the
00:34:19.320 time, and I told
00:34:20.160 her, I said, Amy,
00:34:21.120 you are going to
00:34:22.340 regret this.
00:34:24.140 This is going to
00:34:25.340 result in a lot
00:34:26.960 more judges and
00:34:27.840 justices in the
00:34:29.040 mold of Antonin
00:34:29.960 Scalia and Clarence
00:34:30.980 Thomas.
00:34:32.400 And every Democrat,
00:34:34.660 nonetheless, like
00:34:35.360 lemmings, jumped
00:34:36.280 off that cliff.
00:34:37.240 And ironically, the
00:34:39.560 Dobbs decision that
00:34:40.720 overturned Roe
00:34:41.460 versus Wade never
00:34:42.620 would have happened
00:34:43.620 if Harry Reid and
00:34:45.560 the Democrats had
00:34:46.380 not nuked the
00:34:47.240 filibuster in 2013.
00:34:48.840 That was the
00:34:49.540 direct result because
00:34:50.640 there's no way on
00:34:51.380 earth that Brett
00:34:53.060 Kavanaugh and Amy
00:34:53.860 Coney Barrett and
00:34:54.660 probably even Neil
00:34:55.600 Gorsuch could have
00:34:57.040 gotten 60 votes to
00:34:58.560 get confirmed, which
00:34:59.440 is what would have
00:34:59.980 been required if the
00:35:00.900 filibuster still
00:35:01.620 existed.
00:35:02.040 And what happened
00:35:03.880 yesterday is the
00:35:07.760 Democrats nuked, not
00:35:09.900 the Senate rules, but
00:35:11.800 the Constitution, the
00:35:12.920 Constitution's power of
00:35:14.840 impeachment for the
00:35:15.740 Senate.
00:35:16.060 And as a result of
00:35:17.080 yesterday, never again
00:35:19.200 will there be an
00:35:20.860 impeachment trial when
00:35:22.240 the Senate is of the
00:35:23.320 same party as the
00:35:24.220 president.
00:35:24.720 And so, by the way,
00:35:25.960 this could happen less
00:35:28.340 than a year from now.
00:35:30.080 I think it is likely
00:35:31.680 that Donald Trump is
00:35:33.400 going to win in
00:35:33.900 November.
00:35:34.280 I hope he does.
00:35:35.500 I think it is likely
00:35:36.760 that Republicans are
00:35:38.340 going to take the
00:35:38.920 Senate.
00:35:39.220 I hope we do.
00:35:40.820 It is also possible,
00:35:42.600 unfortunately, that
00:35:44.380 Democrats take the
00:35:45.460 House.
00:35:45.800 I hope they don't, but
00:35:46.660 it is a real
00:35:47.140 possibility.
00:35:47.860 It's a very, very
00:35:48.560 close majority.
00:35:49.620 If that happens, if
00:35:50.940 we start January of
00:35:52.100 next year with a
00:35:52.800 Democrat House, a
00:35:53.980 Republican Senate, and
00:35:55.300 Trump in the White
00:35:55.940 House, I'm here to
00:35:57.580 predict what's going
00:35:58.460 to happen.
00:35:59.260 The Democrats are
00:36:00.460 going to impeach
00:36:01.320 Donald Trump again,
00:36:03.280 a third time, and
00:36:04.220 who knows, maybe a
00:36:04.940 fourth and a fifth
00:36:05.580 time.
00:36:05.900 They hate him.
00:36:07.240 They'll do it again
00:36:08.300 if they have a
00:36:09.280 majority in the
00:36:10.000 House.
00:36:11.280 But you know what
00:36:12.020 will happen if they
00:36:12.660 do that?
00:36:13.200 They'll send it to
00:36:13.820 the Senate, and I
00:36:15.280 guarantee you Senate
00:36:16.080 Republicans are going
00:36:16.860 to say, nope, we're
00:36:17.540 not having a trial.
00:36:18.480 We're going to
00:36:18.780 follow the Democrat
00:36:19.460 precedent.
00:36:20.600 What's good for the
00:36:21.400 goose is good for the
00:36:22.240 gander, so no trial
00:36:23.380 for you.
00:36:24.760 That's a bad thing,
00:36:25.800 and by the way, it is
00:36:26.700 worth noting, that was
00:36:29.240 the scenario for the
00:36:31.500 first Trump impeachment.
00:36:32.500 The first Trump
00:36:33.400 impeachment, there was a
00:36:35.240 Democrat House, a
00:36:36.840 Republican Senate, and
00:36:38.400 obviously Trump was in
00:36:39.280 the White House.
00:36:40.020 And we could have done
00:36:41.580 what Chuck Schumer and
00:36:42.480 the Democrats did
00:36:43.200 yesterday, but we
00:36:43.920 didn't.
00:36:44.520 We could have just
00:36:45.340 thrown it out at the
00:36:46.140 outset, but we said, no,
00:36:47.360 we have a constitutional
00:36:48.920 responsibility to hold a
00:36:50.620 trial.
00:36:51.200 We think this impeachment
00:36:52.280 is garbage, but we have
00:36:53.620 a responsibility to
00:36:55.600 respect the Constitution
00:36:57.340 and allow the House
00:36:58.600 managers to present
00:36:59.480 their case, and then
00:37:00.820 to make an adjudication.
00:37:02.380 And it's sad, because
00:37:03.460 now there's this, like
00:37:04.520 you said, it doesn't
00:37:05.240 matter what you do, if
00:37:06.760 you're in the party that
00:37:07.640 has a majority, you can
00:37:08.880 pretty much get away with
00:37:09.860 murder, especially on the
00:37:10.740 Democratic side, and they
00:37:12.100 will not hold you
00:37:13.120 accountable or even have a
00:37:14.300 trial and defend you.
00:37:15.200 They'll just say you don't
00:37:15.880 get that opportunity at
00:37:17.480 all.
00:37:18.300 All right, I want to tell
00:37:19.140 you real quick about a
00:37:20.000 really, really, really cool
00:37:21.220 company, and it's called
00:37:22.520 Ammo Squared.
00:37:23.320 It's an American family
00:37:25.280 owned company, owned and
00:37:26.560 operated, started by a
00:37:27.740 husband and wife team.
00:37:29.240 And what they do is
00:37:30.540 something that's just
00:37:31.280 phenomenal.
00:37:32.280 Ammo Squared helps you
00:37:33.780 stay stocked up on
00:37:35.320 ammunition automatically.
00:37:37.820 Ammo is delivered to
00:37:38.840 you on demand or
00:37:40.180 automatically when you
00:37:41.320 need it and stored for
00:37:43.480 free when you don't.
00:37:44.880 It's like a 401k of
00:37:46.980 ammo.
00:37:47.760 Ammo Squared, like I
00:37:48.740 said, is family owned.
00:37:49.760 And what they do is they
00:37:50.720 get you the best price on
00:37:52.000 ammo.
00:37:52.420 And you have a way to
00:37:54.060 build a stockpile of
00:37:55.060 ammo month after month
00:37:56.740 after month.
00:37:57.500 It's also a way to
00:37:58.700 literally invest in
00:37:59.780 ammunition.
00:38:00.400 You can buy low and
00:38:01.620 dollar cost average over
00:38:02.880 time.
00:38:03.420 And then you can actually
00:38:04.920 cash out when prices
00:38:07.400 rise.
00:38:08.380 We saw what happened
00:38:09.660 with ammo prices during
00:38:10.720 COVID.
00:38:11.320 You couldn't find ammo
00:38:12.640 and ammo prices went
00:38:14.060 through the roof.
00:38:14.740 Well, that's where you
00:38:15.760 could have cashed out or
00:38:17.140 taken delivery of your
00:38:18.600 ammo and had it at your
00:38:20.900 house.
00:38:21.240 You can buy as little as
00:38:22.880 a few dollars a month and
00:38:24.340 let it grow over time or
00:38:25.420 you can buy a bunch all at
00:38:26.660 once and you have it when
00:38:28.420 you need it.
00:38:28.840 Now, this is not reloads.
00:38:30.200 This is manufactured premium
00:38:32.560 ammunition.
00:38:33.720 Typical customers will
00:38:34.920 accumulate about three to
00:38:35.920 six months and then they
00:38:37.060 ship.
00:38:37.720 But some ship every month.
00:38:39.260 Others just accumulate
00:38:40.240 thousands of dollars worth
00:38:41.500 of ammo and they may not
00:38:43.280 ship it for years.
00:38:44.520 It's up to you.
00:38:45.640 But the best part is when
00:38:47.680 there is a run on
00:38:48.500 ammunition, you know you
00:38:50.440 have ammunition stored up
00:38:52.180 and it can ship with one
00:38:53.900 click of a button.
00:38:55.200 Now, I want to get you some
00:38:56.360 free ammo right now and I
00:38:57.960 can do that by you going to
00:38:59.620 ammo squared dot com slash
00:39:02.380 Ben.

00:39:10.280 Ammo squared dot com slash Ben
00:39:12.220 to sign up and get some free
00:39:13.460 ammo in your account right
00:39:15.440 now.
00:39:16.760 Finally, Senator, what
00:39:18.240 exactly did Democrats do
00:39:20.740 yesterday on impeachment?
00:39:22.500 Just so people understand
00:39:24.180 how they pulled this off.
00:39:26.380 Well, at 1 p.m.
00:39:27.720 yesterday, we convened on
00:39:29.740 the Senate floor.
00:39:30.460 This is pursuant to the
00:39:31.380 Senate rules.
00:39:31.980 When we enter impeachment, we
00:39:33.260 were all sworn in and then
00:39:35.840 we all signed the oath book
00:39:37.420 one at a time.
00:39:38.840 We signed the oath book
00:39:39.800 and what is supposed to
00:39:42.620 happen next is that we
00:39:43.980 adopt a resolution laying
00:39:45.540 out a trial schedule of how
00:39:46.880 the House managers are going
00:39:48.720 to present their their case.
00:39:51.780 But instead, what happened
00:39:53.320 is Chuck Schumer rose on a
00:39:56.280 constitutional point of order
00:39:57.920 and a constitutional point of
00:40:00.300 order is you stand and say
00:40:01.840 what is on the floor violates
00:40:05.980 the Constitution.
00:40:06.600 And he raised a constitutional
00:40:07.780 point of order and he said
00:40:08.960 Article one, the first article
00:40:10.800 sent over by the House does
00:40:14.160 not allege a high crime or
00:40:16.320 misdemeanor.
00:40:17.900 And so what happened next is
00:40:20.020 we voted on whether Article
00:40:23.020 one alleged a high crime or
00:40:24.420 misdemeanor.
00:40:24.840 High crime or misdemeanor is
00:40:25.740 what you need to be able to
00:40:26.860 impeach someone.
00:40:28.200 Now, Article one focused on
00:40:31.140 Alejandro Mayorkas is defiance of
00:40:34.020 federal law that that he he was
00:40:37.060 refusing to follow explicit and
00:40:39.920 clear federal law, federal law
00:40:42.460 that that says that that illegal
00:40:46.820 immigrants shall be detained, that
00:40:48.920 that illegal immigrants with
00:40:50.000 criminal convictions shall be
00:40:51.380 detained and shall be deported
00:40:52.940 over and over again.
00:40:54.280 Immigration law is mandatory.
00:40:55.800 It says shall, shall, shall, shall.
00:40:57.780 And he's defying it at a level
00:40:59.700 it's never happened before.
00:41:01.680 It's not that he's bad at his job.
00:41:04.720 It's that he is utterly flouting
00:41:08.280 and defying federal law and that
00:41:10.020 that's the first article of
00:41:12.300 impeachment and they argued with
00:41:14.080 actually they didn't argue they
00:41:15.060 just made a motion that it's not a
00:41:17.040 high crime or misdemeanor.
00:41:17.940 They presented no argument.
00:41:20.080 They they did not give a legal
00:41:22.440 argument.
00:41:22.940 They did not write a brief.
00:41:23.840 They did not present an argument
00:41:25.040 and and I was the person who who
00:41:27.900 raised the lead objection to that.
00:41:31.260 Now under the impeachment rules
00:41:33.420 you can't debate on the Senate
00:41:36.160 floor.
00:41:37.060 You're supposed to be silent
00:41:38.540 because you're jurors.
00:41:40.000 I was going to say why is that
00:41:41.020 but that makes sense because
00:41:42.040 you're a juror not not not a
00:41:44.160 lawyer I guess presenting right
00:41:45.580 right right and so I made a
00:41:49.020 motion for us to move into
00:41:51.640 executive session if we move into
00:41:53.500 executive session we throw the
00:41:54.860 reporters out we turn the TV
00:41:56.520 cameras off but then we can debate
00:41:58.400 it and I said look you're you're
00:42:00.200 making a major legal point you
00:42:02.140 presented no argument and what
00:42:04.780 you're saying is quality is is
00:42:07.000 fundamentally wrong and and I'll
00:42:08.840 tell you the amazing thing is the
00:42:12.200 idea that refusing to follow the
00:42:15.320 law defying the law is not a high
00:42:17.620 crime and misdemeanor is not
00:42:18.720 impeachable it is contrary to the
00:42:22.500 original understanding the
00:42:24.200 Constitution Joseph story who was a
00:42:26.500 Supreme Court justice one of the
00:42:28.020 leading constitutional scholars right
00:42:30.220 at the very beginning of our country
00:42:31.500 and his commentaries on the
00:42:32.920 Constitution are widely cited for
00:42:35.540 for understanding what the
00:42:38.340 founding generation believed the
00:42:40.060 Constitution to mean and he talked
00:42:41.680 about he wrote at length about high
00:42:43.540 crimes and misdemeanors and he gave
00:42:44.860 lots of examples including the the
00:42:48.280 Lord Admiral refusing to protect the
00:42:51.220 high seas and he said that is a high
00:42:53.440 crime or misdemeanor and and that is
00:42:55.660 that that is virtually analogous very
00:42:58.800 closely analogous to the head of
00:43:01.560 Homeland Security refusing to secure
00:43:03.280 the border it's the same principle of
00:43:05.940 allowing lawless piracy to to to threaten
00:43:08.980 and invade America so Joseph story and
00:43:12.040 the founding generation understood this to
00:43:14.380 be a high crime and misdemeanor and
00:43:16.200 amazingly enough Ben the Biden Justice
00:43:19.800 Department argued in front of the US
00:43:22.240 Supreme Court that impeachment was the
00:43:25.920 remedy for the Biden administration
00:43:28.780 refusing to follow the law so in Texas
00:43:31.480 versus the United States Texas sued the
00:43:33.520 Biden administration for refusing to
00:43:36.000 secure the border and the Supreme Court
00:43:38.260 ended up agreeing with the Biden
00:43:39.880 administration and saying well Texas
00:43:41.580 can't sue and and the Biden DOJ the
00:43:45.580 you the solicitor general for Biden
00:43:47.200 argued look if you have a cabinet member
00:43:51.440 who's refusing to follow the law Congress
00:43:54.560 has remedies including impeachment and
00:43:57.980 so I stood up and said listen the Biden
00:44:00.020 Department of Justice argued last year
00:44:02.160 this was impeachable it didn't matter
00:44:04.980 every single Democrat all of them and by
00:44:08.300 the way even the so-called moderates Joe
00:44:10.260 Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema they voted
00:44:12.220 also nope not a high crime or misdemeanor and
00:44:15.620 as a result because they had to have a
00:44:19.440 majority the point of order carried they
00:44:22.180 got 51 votes for it and so the first
00:44:24.580 article was thrown out and then they did
00:44:26.240 it again on the second one and I'll tell
00:44:28.820 you the second one is even more
00:44:30.100 astonishing so as a result of the first
00:44:33.080 vote it is now the position of Democrats
00:44:35.740 that any cabinet member can refuse to
00:44:37.900 follow the law can defy the law can
00:44:39.700 utterly ignore the law and you can't
00:44:41.780 impeach him for it I mean that's an
00:44:43.480 astonishing and dangerous proposition in
00:44:46.640 Democrat loony land but the second article
00:44:50.320 of impeachment was for breach of trust and
00:44:54.760 it focused on Mayorkas repeatedly lying to
00:44:58.280 Congress under oath about what was
00:45:00.000 happening at the border and again Chuck
00:45:02.380 Schumer rose on a point of order and
00:45:04.040 said this is not a high crime or
00:45:06.120 misdemeanor now mind you they're saying
00:45:09.380 lying under oath to Congress is not
00:45:11.220 impeachable it is a felony it is a felony
00:45:14.160 that you can serve jail time for and it's
00:45:17.340 worth remembering Bill Clinton was
00:45:20.800 impeached for perjury the House impeached
00:45:23.660 him and what did the Senate do they
00:45:24.980 didn't throw it out they didn't dismiss
00:45:26.660 it the House managers presented the case
00:45:29.180 they hurt conducted a trial and
00:45:30.700 ultimately the Senate acquitted him but
00:45:32.920 they did their duty to hold a trial and
00:45:35.420 actually before that there's someone I'm
00:45:39.080 sure you've never heard of a guy named
00:45:40.540 Walter Nixon you know Walter Nixon was
00:45:42.400 who's that Walter Nixon was was a federal
00:45:46.420 judge he was a federal judge actually
00:45:47.820 from Mississippi you're an Ole Miss
00:45:50.220 grad he was a federal judge from
00:45:51.560 Mississippi but he was not a good guy and
00:45:54.180 and he was convicted of perjury before a
00:45:57.460 grand jury and you know what happened
00:46:00.000 the Congress impeached him the House
00:46:02.000 impeached him the Senate convicted him and
00:46:05.560 he was removed as a federal judge for
00:46:08.040 perjury so even though it was clear there
00:46:11.700 was clear precedent that yes perjury
00:46:13.920 lying under oath is a high crime or
00:46:16.580 misdemeanor it is impeachable every
00:46:19.380 single Senate Democrat voted that it's
00:46:25.360 not a high crime or misdemeanor so now
00:46:27.580 apparently again in Democrat wonderland
00:46:30.540 lying to Congress is a-okay and
00:46:32.880 understand this was not about the
00:46:36.760 Constitution they didn't care they had
00:46:39.460 no arguments as to why the Constitution
00:46:41.220 said this this was about power and this
00:46:44.340 was about protecting their political
00:46:47.000 backsides because they're terrified of
00:46:49.980 the American people hearing what is
00:46:52.940 happening at the border the fentanyl the
00:46:54.740 deaths the rapes the children being
00:46:56.900 abused they do not want that evidence
00:46:58.700 before the American people and I'll say
00:47:00.660 this is a final point to wrap up do you
00:47:04.260 want to see proof of why this is all
00:47:07.400 political and why the Democrats did what
00:47:09.060 they did yes you know what you know
00:47:11.460 what you know what MSNBC and CNN
00:47:14.640 covered all day yesterday Trump 24-7
00:47:18.980 the Trump trial Stormy Daniels ooh smut
00:47:22.240 lying process like apparently there was no
00:47:26.420 impeachment proceeding in the Senate
00:47:27.800 nothing happened there's no border
00:47:29.900 crisis the only thing they would cover
00:47:32.680 is is the attack on Trump yeah facts
