00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.680 Guaranteed human.
00:00:04.440 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz.
00:00:07.120 Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:08.300 Senator, I hope you had a fabulous 4th of July with your family.
00:00:12.120 And we've got a lot to talk about.
00:00:13.700 I'm going to guess it's going to be a lot about Biden
00:00:16.240 because that's what everybody else in the country was chatting about over the weekend.
00:00:19.340 Well, that's certainly true.
00:00:21.640 Chaos ensues in the Democrat Party.
00:00:24.160 Panic is continuing to grow.
00:00:26.620 But before we talk about that,
00:00:27.920 I will say you and I are both sitting here.
00:00:30.000 It is Sunday night.
00:00:30.880 We're both in Houston, Texas.
00:00:32.800 And a hurricane is preparing to make landfall in the great state of Texas.
00:00:36.380 It is expected down south of here, somewhere around Victoria.
00:00:41.420 It's expected to make landfall late tonight, somewhere 1 or 2 in the morning.
00:00:46.120 So just before this podcast goes live to the world.
00:00:50.080 And the projections are right now that it may accelerate to a Category 1 or Category 2 hurricane
00:00:56.900 and then move north up to you and me in Houston.
00:01:00.180 We're anticipating anywhere from 5 inches to as much as 15 inches of rain,
00:01:04.740 depending on where you are.
00:01:06.920 So let me say, first of all, to everyone in Texas, stay safe.
00:01:11.540 Don't – you and I were talking right before we started filming this.
00:01:14.520 You were saying it's your first hurricane in Houston.
00:01:17.200 I'm a lifelong Houstonian, and hurricanes are part of life here.
00:01:20.320 But the best advice is stay safe.
00:01:23.260 Don't risk anything.
00:01:24.640 If you see water and don't know how deep it is, don't drive into it.
00:01:28.220 Where people are most frequently in harm's way is they drive into what they think is shallow water,
00:01:33.620 and it ends up being deeper and more dangerous.
00:01:35.660 And so keep your family safe.
00:01:37.540 Our prayers are going to be with everyone along the Gulf Coast tonight.
00:01:40.080 And make sure you don't take any unnecessary risks and you listen to first responders and stay out of harm's way.
00:01:48.920 Yeah, no doubt about it.
00:01:50.660 I also want to ask you about this week.
00:01:53.980 You were hanging out with FAM.
00:01:56.220 How many people around Fourth of July asked you about Joe Biden?
00:02:00.020 Everyone.
00:02:00.940 Look, look, Fourth of July, I had a great, great several days with my youngest daughter, Catherine.
00:02:07.660 The two of us together hung out.
00:02:09.360 Now, Heidi and Caroline went on a mission trip to Africa, which was a fantastic experience.
00:02:14.360 Caroline went with Heidi and with Heidi's mom, and they were in Zambia.
00:02:17.980 I had an incredible time there.
00:02:19.820 But, you know, I got to say, over the Fourth of July, you know, we were barbecuing burgers.
00:02:25.240 Unlike Chuck Schumer, we actually know to turn the heat on and to cook the burger before you put the cheese on.
00:02:31.580 So that's something apparently Democrats don't understand, how actually they grill a burger.
00:02:37.940 But just about every darn conversation standing around on Fourth of July was, what's happening with Biden?
00:02:45.040 Is he going?
00:02:45.660 What's going to happen?
00:02:47.040 And I got to say, we have seen the chaos spreading.
00:02:52.700 We've seen the White House damage control really not going well at all.
00:02:57.120 And also on today's podcast, I'm going to modify my prediction at least somewhat.
00:03:05.280 I now think there's a significant chance we may get an outcome different than what I predict.
00:03:10.100 I'm going to explain all that.
00:03:11.620 Oh, we're changing predictions.
00:03:13.700 I like this.
00:03:14.780 Let me tell you about our friends over at Patriot Mobile real quick.
00:03:17.280 If you're with Big Mobile right now, you may not realize you are helping give massive donations to democratic causes, candidates, and organizations, including Planned Parenthood.
00:03:30.560 That's right.
00:03:31.380 And that's why more than a decade ago, there was a group of conservatives that said, we got to stop giving our money to these companies that are fighting against our values, that hate our values, that hate our family values.
00:03:41.180 And that is exactly why they started Patriot Mobile.
00:03:44.580 Now, look, right now in 2024, the world of technology has changed so much that switching your cell phone has actually never been easier.
00:03:54.240 You don't have to go to a store to do it like you used to.
00:03:57.640 You don't have to worry about how long it's going to take you to get your phone changed or your number switched over.
00:04:05.200 It's all done easily now.
00:04:07.580 And coverage is also a thing of the past.
00:04:10.000 Right now, everybody are using the same exact towers that you're using right now.
00:04:15.300 So if you switch to Patriot Mobile, you're going to get the same exact coverage you are accustomed to.
00:04:21.220 But here's the best part.
00:04:22.500 When you switch, about 5% of your bill every single month actually goes back to support conservative causes, candidates, and organizations that you actually help choose to support, which is amazing.
00:04:34.460 And you're going to be standing up for your Second Amendment rights, your First Amendment rights.
00:04:40.260 You're going to be standing up for the sanctity of life and supporting our military, our veterans, and our first responder heroes.
00:04:46.720 So how do you switch?
00:04:48.100 Like I said, it's never been easier.
00:04:49.840 Call Patriot Mobile and use the promo code VERDICT.
00:04:52.660 You're actually going to get free activation as well.
00:04:56.300 972-PATRIOT.
00:04:57.580 That's 972-PATRIOT.
00:05:00.620 972-PATRIOT.
00:05:01.940 Or online at PatriotMobile.com slash verdict.
00:05:06.600 That's PatriotMobile.com slash verdict.
00:05:08.880 All right.
00:05:09.360 I'm going to go back to what you said a moment ago, Senator.
00:05:11.540 You said you're going to, quote, slightly change your prediction.
00:05:16.040 For everyone that doesn't know, you predicted nine, almost ten months ago now that if Joe Biden was replaced, it would be at the convention and they would parachute in Michelle Obama.
00:05:28.500 So how are we changing it?
00:05:29.940 I'm intrigued.
00:05:31.760 Well, that was my prediction, as you said, nine, ten months ago.
00:05:35.000 And at the time, my prediction then, as I said, there's a real possibility.
00:05:38.880 I didn't believe nine, ten months ago that it was greater than 50 percent, but I thought there was a real significant possibility there were Democrats who were floating trial balloons even back then.
00:05:49.440 The media was floating trial balloons even back then.
00:05:52.460 And as I laid out my reasoning, I thought Michelle Obama was the natural choice for them.
00:05:58.120 And if I were a Democrat, that's where I would push.
00:06:01.620 Now, over the last couple of months, I adjusted those odds to 50-50 or greater.
00:06:08.880 That they would pull the cord on Joe Biden.
00:06:11.360 As things started getting worse and worse and worse, I thought the odds were getting higher and higher.
00:06:16.760 And then after the disastrous debate, you and I both watched the debate.
00:06:21.080 We watched it real time.
00:06:22.320 And then we sat down and recorded the podcast immediately after the podcast and immediately after the debate, rather.
00:06:28.360 And my assessment that night is I now think the chances are 80 percent that the Democrats pull the cord on Joe Biden.
00:06:37.580 And what I said then is, and parachute Michelle Obama in.
00:06:41.220 Again, if I were a Democrat, I'd be all in on that.
00:06:43.800 And in fact, if that happened, it would be incredibly dangerous.
00:06:47.040 We've seen polling that puts Michelle Obama in a really strong position.
00:06:51.180 And as someone who wants Trump to win in November, I don't want to see that happen.
00:06:55.800 What is interesting, though, the Democrats don't seem to be heading there with the speed that you would anticipate.
00:07:02.380 And so here's how I'm going to alter my prediction.
00:07:04.660 I still think it is 80 percent that they pull the cord on Joe Biden.
00:07:10.860 But I'm now going to modify it and say among that 80 percent, I think it is 50-50, whether they go with Michelle Obama or Kamala Harris.
00:07:22.600 And I didn't think they'd go with Kamala because Kamala is a much weaker candidate.
00:07:26.940 But it's interesting.
00:07:28.280 We have seen Democrats positioning, fighting, pushing for Kamala to be the choice.
00:07:33.520 And so as I'm handicapping it right now in terms of who's going to be the Democrat nominee come November, I put the odds 40 percent Michelle Obama, 40 percent Kamala Harris and 20 percent Joe Biden.
00:07:46.740 All right.
00:07:47.520 Let's go over why you think that Kamala has jumped up.
00:07:51.160 For me personally, I do think they're kind of forced in a position where she's the frontrunner just from the aspect of the money.
00:08:00.780 The money that's raised by the Biden-Harris campaign can only stay with Biden slash Harris.
00:08:07.540 It can't go to somebody else quickly and the campaign apparatus.
00:08:12.300 Is that why you're saying she has a much higher chance now than you said before?
00:08:16.640 No, no.
00:08:17.500 The money at the end of the day will sort itself out.
00:08:20.720 The Democrats are not going to be lacking for money in November.
00:08:23.680 They've got gazillionaires who will devote whatever money is necessary to try to elect a Democrat.
00:08:30.360 That's not going to constrain their choice.
00:08:32.780 Look, Michelle Obama, what I laid out 10 months ago was that Kamala was obviously a deeply flawed candidate.
00:08:40.660 But if you wanted to push her aside, the Democrats could not push her aside and replace her with a white guy because their party, they're such bean counters.
00:08:50.100 Their party would implode.
00:08:52.040 And so the Gavin Newsom, notice I put the odds of Gavin Newsom at zero percent.
00:08:58.380 I don't think because he's a white guy and he can't.
00:09:02.600 I just wanted to hear you say it because it's just so funny.
00:09:05.380 No, it's the Democrat Party.
00:09:07.340 If they pushed an African-American woman aside for a white guy, particularly a rich white California surfer dude,
00:09:14.100 their party would spontaneously combust.
00:09:19.680 So they're faced in a quandary where the only human being on planet Earth who can push Kamala aside is Michelle Obama
00:09:27.780 because she has the same demographic characteristics as Kamala.
00:09:32.140 And she is the Democrat equivalent of royalty.
00:09:36.140 She now has Kamala, the Kennedys have gone and the Obamas have replaced them.
00:09:43.760 And so she can parachute in as standing above the fray.
00:09:48.900 What is interesting, though, is that nobody on the Democrat side has made any move towards that in the days since the debate,
00:09:59.420 which I'm surprised of.
00:10:00.680 But instead, what you've seen is multiple Democrats beginning to push Kamala.
00:10:09.220 Yeah, I mean, hard.
00:10:11.060 Push her hard and say, look, if Joe steps down, it's got to be Kamala.
00:10:15.580 It's no one else.
00:10:16.200 It's Kamala.
00:10:16.700 It's Kamala.
00:10:17.080 It's Kamala.
00:10:17.420 So for me, it's not the money.
00:10:19.780 It's you get invested in something.
00:10:21.860 You start leaning in.
00:10:23.200 The stakeholders start getting behind it.
00:10:25.700 The press voices start getting behind it.
00:10:27.920 The members of Congress and the senators start getting behind it.
00:10:32.100 And once you're you can't be a little bit pregnant.
00:10:34.740 And I think as people get further and further down that road, it becomes harder to check to change the course you're on.
00:10:43.700 And you're already seeing lots of stories from the Democratic side.
00:10:46.980 No, no, no, no.
00:10:47.900 Kamala is a much stronger candidate than you think.
00:10:50.460 All of you people who think she's a weak candidate, you're all wrong.
00:10:54.580 And she's going to be Madam President.
00:10:56.620 We saw, you know, Jim Clyburn go on TV and say, look, I support Biden-Harris.
00:11:01.340 And that means I support Joe Biden, even if Kamala Harris is not on the ticket.
00:11:05.220 And but he goes on to say, and that means I support Kamala Harris, even if Joe Biden's not on the ticket.
00:11:10.540 Now, that's a big deal, because without Clyburn, Biden doesn't get the nomination in 2020.
00:11:14.580 He played a pivotal role in stampeding Democrats away from Bernie Sanders to Joe Biden.
00:11:21.440 And I think that was a serious signal that the powers that be, they're freaking out.
00:11:28.880 But more of them are getting behind Kamala than I thought would happen.
00:11:33.300 Let's talk about this Stephanopoulos interview.
00:11:35.760 And you and I mentioned that it was an important interview, obviously, at the end of last week.
00:11:41.280 It was an interview that was actually heavily watched.
00:11:44.280 Some of the ratings show that a lot of Americans watched it.
00:11:47.100 It was obviously a topic of conversation for July 4th with people, with their family, with their friends.
00:11:53.520 And and if you're a Democrat, I think it's actually the center of your universe right now, because you're trying to figure out what in the heck are we going to do this interview?
00:12:01.520 As I watched it, I don't think it helped the president at all.
00:12:06.720 There was one moment in there that was actually shocking to me.
00:12:10.300 And Stephanopoulos asked the president, did you watch the debate afterwards?
00:12:16.460 And he paused and he said, no, I don't think I did.
00:12:21.880 You would know if you watched the debate that was days earlier.
00:12:26.960 You wouldn't say, no, I don't think I did.
00:12:31.360 I don't think this interview helped the president at all.
00:12:35.100 Well, look, it is a weird answer.
00:12:37.140 I don't think I watched it.
00:12:38.600 Now, I will say this.
00:12:40.040 I've done, I don't know, a ton of political debates.
00:12:44.040 I don't think I've ever watched one of the debates I did.
00:12:47.860 I've watched little snippets.
00:12:49.400 I've watched little excerpts from them.
00:12:52.180 You know, Frank Luntz does his dial group things.
00:12:55.660 And I've had Frank for several debates has like gone through, say, a half dozen moments of the debate and played, you know, a minute or 90 seconds or two minutes of it and showed me the dial groups of what people liked and what people didn't.
00:13:09.880 And so I've done that analysis.
00:13:11.220 But I don't believe I've ever sat down and watched a debate in its entirety after it happened.
00:13:17.160 But that being said, if you ask a person three days later, did you watch the debate to say, I don't know, is kind of weird.
00:13:23.940 Yeah.
00:13:24.140 And it's a disaster of a debate.
00:13:25.900 So it was even more of a relevant question.
00:13:28.140 You've never had a disaster debate like Joe Biden did either.
00:13:31.100 By the way, I will tell you that there was one I did.
00:13:35.200 And you don't know about this.
00:13:37.080 But long ago.
00:13:38.640 All right.
00:13:38.880 So when I was first running for Senate.
00:13:40.260 These are my favorite stories, by the way.
00:13:41.200 For everybody that's listening, this is when it gets good.
00:13:43.280 So take notes.
00:13:44.680 All right.
00:13:44.980 So I'm first running for Senate.
00:13:46.700 It's a 2012 election.
00:13:47.780 It was 2011.
00:13:49.720 And nobody's ever heard of me.
00:13:51.200 I'm a candidate.
00:13:51.940 I'm at 2% in the polls.
00:13:53.860 Never been, you know, never been elected to nothing.
00:13:56.440 Last thing I was elected to was student council.
00:13:59.220 And so I'm out there.
00:14:00.580 I'm working.
00:14:01.220 I'm working.
00:14:01.680 And we had an event in San Antonio, a fundraiser.
00:14:05.720 And it was a fundraiser at the home of a wonderful woman, a dear friend in San Antonio.
00:14:10.740 Had people come and we stayed at the dinner till about midnight.
00:14:16.900 And then we drove from San Antonio back to Houston.
00:14:19.940 And so I got to my house at 4 in the morning.
00:14:23.980 And I slept from 4 in the morning till about 6 in the morning.
00:14:27.200 And I had a breakfast at like 7 or 7.30.
00:14:30.400 So I got maybe two hours sleep.
00:14:34.460 That night we had a debate for the Senate race.
00:14:37.520 And it was an interesting debate because at the time, David Dewhurst, who was the lieutenant governor and was the leading candidate who was supposed to walk into a coronation, he didn't participate at all.
00:14:48.480 And so it was several of us that were considered by the media to be the kind of second tier.
00:14:54.040 But it was the only Senate debate, you may not know this either, that Dan Patrick, who's now the lieutenant governor of Texas, Dan participated in.
00:15:01.640 He didn't actually run for Senate, but he kind of thought about it.
00:15:04.480 He thought about it enough to participate in the debate.
00:15:08.060 And that debate that night, I'd had between an hour and two hours sleep.
00:15:11.940 And as the debate was going on, to be absolutely honest, Ben, I was just falling asleep.
00:15:16.760 I was literally like nodding over there.
00:15:19.680 And my answers, I think some of my answers were shorter than Biden.
00:15:25.200 You know, like at some point, I don't know, they asked me something like, you know, would you abolish Social Security?
00:15:31.440 I don't remember, something like that.
00:15:32.560 And I gave like a three-word answer.
00:15:35.320 No, I would not.
00:15:36.940 And that may seem clever, but it's really bad debate strategy.
00:15:43.400 And you know my political team really well.
00:15:47.640 I am not a yeller.
00:15:48.760 I don't yell at my team.
00:15:51.120 You could ask JJ.
00:15:52.560 I yelled at him.
00:15:53.780 And I said, look, I think I'm relatively decent at this stuff, but you can't send me into a debate with an hour or two hours sleep.
00:16:04.200 I mean, that's just not.
00:16:05.560 And I sucked that night.
00:16:06.720 It was a miserable debate.
00:16:08.280 Thankfully, there were like 12 people on planet Earth that watched it.
00:16:11.400 And so as I was dozing off, it did not impact the race one way or the other.
00:16:16.160 But it sure did impact me.
00:16:17.800 I was never going to let that happen again.
00:16:19.860 That's, hey, it only takes once, right?
00:16:21.740 And then you learn your lesson on that one for sure.
00:16:24.280 If you are Kamala Harris now, and I want to know, do you think she'll be held accountable for her lies?
00:16:34.320 But hold on.
00:16:35.060 I want to play it for you first.
00:16:36.220 I want to play it for you, OK?
00:16:37.980 This is Kamala Harris over the years.
00:16:41.740 OK, this isn't just like in the last week.
00:16:44.620 Covering for the cognitive decline of Joe Biden.
00:16:47.200 Will she have to answer for this?
00:16:49.220 I'm going to play it, and then I want your reaction.
00:16:50.720 We have a very bold and vibrant president in Joe Biden.
00:16:56.780 But a majority of Americans, a majority of Democrats, according to our new poll, say they don't want President Biden to run again.
00:17:04.100 What do you say to that?
00:17:04.880 I mean, George, I think that age is more than a chronological fact, to be very frank with you.
00:17:11.220 It's about thinking about whether we have in our leader, which we do in Joe Biden, somebody who is bold.
00:17:18.260 I mean, think about it.
00:17:19.440 And in Joe Biden, we have a president who is probably one of the boldest and strongest American presidents we have had in his response to the needs of the American people.
00:17:36.000 But he is an extraordinary leader, and I wish that people could see what I see, because there's only one person who sits behind that resolute desk.
00:17:45.740 You're 58 now.
00:17:47.360 If you win the second term, as you and the president are running to do, he would be 86 at the end of it.
00:17:55.020 The Wall Street Journal had a poll showing two thirds of Democrats say Joe Biden is too old to run again.
00:18:01.020 Are you prepared to be commander in chief?
00:18:05.140 Yes, I am, if necessary.
00:18:07.940 But Joe Biden is going to be fine.
00:18:09.860 And let me tell you something.
00:18:11.300 I work with Joe Biden every day.
00:18:12.780 The work that, under Joe Biden's leadership, our administration has accomplished, is transformative.
00:18:20.080 Two very prominent Washington Post articles today talking about President Biden's age, and that's a big concern among the young voters.
00:18:27.560 And in growing poll numbers, that's a big concern.
00:18:31.020 Are people right to be concerned about his age at this point?
00:18:34.800 Well, let me just say this.
00:18:36.100 When I talk to these young voters, what they want is a leader who is in touch with the problems of today and has a vision for what we can do today and in the future to deal with it.
00:18:47.840 President Biden is the first president to take on, in any substantial way, the issue of the climate crisis.
00:18:54.820 I mean, you listen to this, and I've got another four minutes, but that's just some of the highlights.
00:19:00.340 She lied to the American people and has been definitely involved in this cover-up.
00:19:05.280 She, for years, has said Biden is, quote, very bold and vibrant.
00:19:09.180 Then she says he's tireless in terms of working and says he's going to be fine.
00:19:14.240 He is in good shape.
00:19:15.760 He's in good health.
00:19:17.180 She lied to the American people.
00:19:18.720 So if she gets the nomination, how big is this going to come back, I think, of a conversation with Donald Trump and whoever he picks when they go up against her?
00:19:29.460 Look, I think in terms of the media, absolutely not at all.
00:19:32.940 They do not care.
00:19:34.300 She repeated the line, so did every other Democrat, so did every other White House staffer, so did all of the corporate media.
00:19:40.840 You know, it reminds me from the line from the movie The Manchurian Candidate.
00:19:45.140 You remember that movie with Frank Sinatra in it?
00:19:47.680 And they're all brainwashed to support this candidate.
00:19:51.000 And they all say the identical line.
00:19:53.680 They all say, Raymond Shaw is the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.
00:19:59.940 And they all repeat that because that's what they were brainwashed to say.
00:20:04.280 Kamala talking about Joe Biden is the same thing.
00:20:07.860 He's the kindest, bravest, warmest, most wonderful human being I've ever known in my life.
00:20:12.700 He's most smart.
00:20:13.780 He's brilliant.
00:20:14.860 He can do differential equations in his head.
00:20:17.380 Wow.
00:20:17.720 And they're just lying.
00:20:21.060 They know they're lying.
00:20:22.100 They knew they were lying.
00:20:22.900 But you know what?
00:20:24.440 The press knew they were lying.
00:20:26.460 The Democrats knew they were lying.
00:20:28.600 They didn't care that they were lying.
00:20:30.320 And the frustrating thing is they don't care now.
00:20:34.100 They'd be perfectly fine to prop Joe Biden up and weaken at Bernie's him for the next four years if it keeps them in power.
00:20:43.280 The only reason they care is because they're looking at poll numbers saying, oh, crap, people don't want to elect someone president who's non-composimentous.
00:20:51.920 If they thought they could get away with it politically, they'd be perfectly fine with our commander-in-chief being unable to tie his own shoes.
00:20:58.980 Yeah, great point.
00:21:00.140 I want to tell you about Blackout Coffee right now as I'm sitting here talking to you.
00:21:03.920 I am drinking a cup of coffee.
00:21:05.760 Now, I'm drinking the instant coffee because I just needed one cup while we got this show done tonight.

00:21:21.400 Now, you know there's a bunch of woke coffee brands out there.
00:21:25.460 Two or three names probably just jumped into your head.
00:21:28.160 Well, don't give your money to them anymore.
00:21:29.920 And don't take an average cup of coffee as a way of starting your day.
00:21:34.160 I do radio 7 a.m. every morning.
00:21:36.360 And I want to make sure I have the best cup of coffee I can get.
00:21:40.060 And Blackout Coffee is where it's at.

00:22:31.860 All right.
00:22:32.120 Let me ask you another question.
00:22:33.740 After the George Stepanopoulos interview took place, Biden refused to commit to an independent medical evaluation.
00:22:42.140 If he was trying to get everyone to calm down, wouldn't your campaign say yes to doing this unless they're hiding something?
00:22:51.440 Would you be willing to undergo an independent medical evaluation that included neurological and cognitive tests and release the results to the American people?
00:23:00.120 Look, I have a cognitive test every single day.
00:23:04.460 Every day I have that test.
00:23:06.580 Everything I do.
00:23:08.540 You know, not only am I campaigning, but I'm running the world.
00:23:11.840 And that's not how it sounds like hyperbole.
00:23:14.300 But we are the central nation in the world.
00:23:16.780 I don't know if I was right.
00:23:18.620 And every single day, for example, today, before I come out here, I'm on the phone with the prime minister.
00:23:25.340 I shouldn't get into the detail, but.
00:23:27.200 He can't remember which prime minister he's on the phone with, but he says, I got this under control, guys.
00:23:32.720 I don't need a cognitive test from a doctor.
00:23:34.660 I do it every day.
00:23:36.360 Well, and look, to be fair, he may well have had that test.
00:23:39.240 I mean, we also had the stories break this past week that the New York Post, President Biden's physician met with Parkinson's disease specialist in the White House.
00:23:50.480 A top Washington neurologist had a meeting with President Biden's personal doctor at the White House earlier this year.
00:23:56.500 Visitor's logs reviewed by the Post show.
00:23:59.060 Dr. Kevin Kennard, a Parkinson's disease expert at Walter Reed Medical Center, met with Dr. Kevin O'Connor and two others at the White House Residence Clinic on January 17th, according to records.
00:24:09.680 Which emerged as questions continue to swirl about the 81-year-old president's mental health in the wake of his debate debacle last week with former President Trump.
00:24:19.760 Now, there was yet another headline from the Washington Examiner, which is even more stunning, which is, quote,
00:24:26.840 Top Parkinson's disease specialist visited White House 10 times since 2022, according to the visitor's logs.
00:24:36.640 And I'm going to read from that story.
00:24:38.580 President Joe Biden's physician met with a top Washington, D.C. neurologist who specialized in Parkinson's disease earlier this year.
00:24:47.120 Kennard's name shows up in the visitor's logs 10 times since November 15th, 2020.
00:24:54.060 And Ron Jackson, who, Ronnie Jackson, who, now the congressman from Texas, a good friend who used to be the White House physician, said, quote,
00:25:03.300 It is highly likely that we're talking about Biden.
00:25:07.020 He should only be regularly treating the president and the first family.
00:25:11.700 That is the White House physician.
00:25:14.000 10 times.
00:25:15.600 It's a very simple question.
00:25:16.980 Why do you have a top Parkinson's disease specialist coming to the White House 10 times since 2022?
00:25:25.780 Yeah, 10 times.
00:25:27.060 So if that if that is the case and I love how now all of a sudden the media is doing their job, right?
00:25:32.240 Like they're doing their job and they're and they're actually digging and they're asking questions.
00:25:36.920 But it's all they didn't report on that a month ago.
00:25:40.480 Yeah.
00:25:40.980 No, they're doing it now, but it's not for the right reasons.
00:25:43.760 And that's why I say don't give them any credit.
00:25:46.440 It's because they've gotten their marching orders from Democratic donors and the Democratic Party that your job now is to get rid of Joe Biden.
00:25:53.860 I mean, the Stephanopoulos interview, I wanted to give him credit, but I know what's happening.
00:25:58.740 I'm not an idiot.
00:25:59.980 This is not the normal George Stephanopoulos.
00:26:02.180 His job, they sent him there to take down Biden, to be the hit man, to end his presidency.
00:26:08.800 And the way he treated him was the way he would treat Donald Trump in an interview.
00:26:12.960 It was shocking to watch.
00:26:14.920 But you have to understand they're doing it because they think they're going to lose their power because they think they're going to lose with Joe Biden.
00:26:21.720 Yeah, they're panicking.
00:26:23.280 We're seeing Democrats panic.
00:26:24.800 We're seeing the media panic.
00:26:26.360 They want to push Joe out.
00:26:27.680 It's why I put the odds at 80 percent.
00:26:30.000 And look, over the last week, the drip, drip, drip keeps coming.
00:26:33.700 So the New York Times in this past week reported, quote, a senior White House official, though unnamed, is telling the New York Times Biden should stand aside.
00:26:42.360 That's a senior White House official in the Biden White House, mind you.
00:26:45.640 The Washington Post on July 5th, Senator Mark Warner, a Democrat, works to gather Senate Democrats to ask Biden to exit the race.
00:26:53.600 Then on July 7th, Axios reports that the Democratic senator's Biden huddle is called off.
00:27:00.340 And here's what Axios reported, quote,
00:27:01.960 Senate Democrats won't meet Monday to discuss their support for President Biden continuing his reelection bid, despite an effort by Senator Mark Warner to organize such a meeting.
00:27:13.240 This every day we have now, I think it's five Democrat House members who have called for Biden to step down.
00:27:22.420 And every day it keeps getting more and more and more.
00:27:25.680 And there's nothing the Biden White House has done to stop the bleeding.
00:27:28.040 Canadian women are looking for more, more out of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders and the world around them.
00:27:35.220 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.
00:27:38.960 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:27:40.120 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:27:41.340 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women, entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.
00:27:50.840 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:27:53.820 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:27:59.800 They've also tried to act like the president's willing to do interviews anywhere at any time.
00:28:04.640 And this has now turned into another major problem for this White House.
00:28:08.380 You have one radio host who's now been fired and another one that is under major scrutiny because in two different cities,
00:28:16.060 in two different places in America, the same exact interview took place with Joe Biden, CNN calling out one of the hosts as they interview these radio hosts who spoke with Biden.
00:28:30.100 And they had these interviews and they knew what they were doing.
00:28:34.020 They heard the questions of both interviews in separate cities.
00:28:36.780 And they're like, this is the same damn interview happening two times over.
00:28:40.640 And then CNN's like, all right, we're all in favor of getting Joe Biden out.
00:28:44.240 So they called out the White House for this.
00:28:46.000 Take a listen.
00:28:46.860 Andrea, let me ask you here about your interviews and something.
00:28:50.220 I listen to both of them.
00:28:51.440 And there's something that's similar here.
00:28:52.860 You each were you asked four questions.
00:28:55.220 And maybe that's what you were allowed to ask by the campaign or the White House.
00:28:59.680 But they were essentially the same questions, both interviews about accomplishments, progress in your respective state.
00:29:05.900 What's at stake in the election?
00:29:07.600 What he has to say about his debate performance and what he would say to voters who think their vote doesn't matter or might sit this election out.
00:29:14.440 Were those questions given to you by the White House or did you have or the campaign?
00:29:19.880 Or did you have to submit questions ahead of this interview?
00:29:25.080 The questions were sent to me for approval.
00:29:27.860 I approved to them.
00:29:30.300 OK, so the White House sent the questions to you ahead of the interview.
00:29:35.240 Yes.
00:29:35.840 OK.
00:29:36.220 I got several questions, eight of them.
00:29:38.400 And the four that were chosen were the ones that I approved.
00:29:40.880 OK.
00:29:41.320 And the reason I ask is not a criticism of either view.
00:29:43.700 It's just that if the White House is trying now to prove the the vim, vigor, acuity of the president,
00:29:50.920 I don't know how they do that by sending questions first before the interview so that the president knows what's coming.
00:29:58.880 Now, the campaign and his statements did not deny providing these questions to that radio show host.
00:30:05.320 But they did add that the interview was not conditioned on acceptance of those questions and added that the any reporter can ask the questions they see fit.
00:30:13.920 Now, today, the campaign is also saying that they are changing their practices going forward and that they will no longer be recommending questions ahead of interviews.
00:30:22.500 There's one source familiar with the Biden booking operation over at the campaign said,
00:30:27.080 While interview hosts have always been free to ask whatever questions they please, moving forward, we will refrain from offering suggested questions.
00:30:34.800 I mean, you listen to that and not only did this one person that was in that interview, that radio host, Andrea Lawful Sanders,
00:30:45.980 she's been forced to resign from WURD radio after admitting her post-debate interview with President Biden included questions that were pre-selected by the Biden campaign team.
00:30:55.900 The station owner said it was furious by this.
00:31:00.800 The present CEO of the Philadelphia Bay station announced a statement posted on Sunday.
00:31:05.460 This the interview featured predetermined questions provided by the White House,
00:31:10.120 which violates our practice of remaining an independent media outlet accountable for to our listeners.
00:31:15.840 As a result, Ms. Lawful Sanders and WURD radio have mutually agreed to part ways effective immediately.
00:31:23.180 Now, WURD, by the way, is Pennsylvania's only black-owned talk radio station.
00:31:29.260 So this was a terrible day for the history and heritage of the station to basically realize that the White House called and said,
00:31:36.180 Hey, you want Biden? All right, we'll give you Biden on your show and give you this press,
00:31:41.320 but only if you ask the four questions that we tell you to ask.
00:31:45.860 And not only do they do it in this city, but they also did it back in Milwaukee as well.
00:31:51.540 Well, look, a couple observations.
00:31:53.360 Number one, it's very interesting to know that there are apparently still people at CNN who know how to do journalism.
00:31:58.660 I didn't think they knew how to do that.
00:32:00.760 But but you actually saw very briefly a CNN journalist asking questions, behaving like a real journalist.
00:32:06.540 And you're right. It's because the narrative has shifted and they're now, I think, happy to push Biden out.
00:32:12.640 Two months ago, they would not have been willing to do that.
00:32:15.680 But secondly, this thing is utterly corrupt.
00:32:19.000 It shows how completely in bed with with the Democrats that that the media is that that that you have the White House or the campaign.
00:32:30.080 And I guess they don't specify which one it is giving the questions to the interviewer saying, here's what you will ask,
00:32:36.180 which means, by the way, that Joe Biden is probably reading the answers that that that, you know, he and it makes you wonder how many other reporters have done that.
00:32:46.200 At the White House press briefing, when Biden has a list in front of him, call on so and so.
00:32:50.960 How many times does he know the question and read the answer to it?
00:32:55.900 And look, you've worked in media a long time.
00:32:59.580 I've been in in the Senate for 12 years for people listening to this podcast.
00:33:04.880 You need to understand this is not normal.
00:33:08.340 It's at least not normal if you're not a corrupt Democrat.
00:33:12.240 Well, I mean, I mean, look, I do this a fair amount with people that I interview right over the years.
00:33:18.660 And I've had campaigns or offices say, hey, the senator or the congressman or the governor has this piece of legislation.
00:33:27.660 If you'd please ask him a question about that.
00:33:30.400 It's something that's very important and that it's going to be introduced.
00:33:33.380 And I'm fine with that.
00:33:35.020 But if you gave me four questions to ask and said you get them only if you ask these four questions, these four questions only,
00:33:42.060 I would tell them to pound sand no matter who it was, because that's not doing an interview.
00:33:46.780 That's that that's a scripted moment.
00:33:49.620 You might as well just have the president sit there at the White House and say, here are the four questions I'm going to answer today that I chose.
00:33:55.560 Yeah, look, it's I've done hundreds of interviews, if not maybe thousands of interviews.
00:34:02.660 I've done a crap ton of interviews to the best of my knowledge.
00:34:07.200 I've certainly never submitted questions, the best of my knowledge, no one on my team has.
00:34:11.940 Now, what is typical is what you just said.
00:34:14.020 If you're doing an interview, let's say I'm going on Hannity.
00:34:17.700 It's typical that that that my press team will talk with Hannity's producers and they'll discuss some topics.
00:34:23.940 So if you're going to talk about the Biden debate or if you're going to talk about illegal immigration or sometimes there's some story that just broke of like Israel.
00:34:34.480 That or the terrorist, you know, being the the eight terrorists, suspected terrorists from Tajikistan just released.
00:34:42.460 If there's a story that just broke, the producer will tell my press team, hey, Sean wants to ask about this.
00:34:48.160 That's typical. So you have some idea what the topic is you're discussing so that you can be prepared.
00:34:55.840 But I'll tell you, my guess is of the interviews I do, at least half of them, they asked me something that is not a topic that they mentioned at all.
00:35:03.880 So, you know, it's helpful to have, OK, if we're going to do Israel, I should probably be up on the latest developments of what's happened on Israel in the last few days.
00:35:12.620 But it is an absolute violation of journalistic ethics and norms to simply read the questions the campaign handed you and and and the absolute arrogance that the Biden campaign has that they they fully assume that that that that fake journalists will be more than happy to comply.
00:35:38.020 Yeah, it's like they're shopping for anyone. They'll play game at this point.
00:35:42.020 And the worst part for for me, I think, is the fact that they did this in response to the debate to try to convince the American people that he is, you know, easy on his feet, that he can do these interviews, that he's not scripted, that he can talk off the cuff.
00:36:00.680 When, in fact, we pull back the curtain yet again. And it's another lie of the American people. It's all fake. It was all set up. He knew exactly what the interview was going to be in both cities.
00:36:11.160 And it was the exact interview two times in a row. I got to tell you about Ammo Squared.
00:36:17.320 I love when there is something that really hits with this audience. And I get to hear from so many of you that absolutely love Ammo Squared.
00:36:24.300 If you haven't checked out Ammo Squared, I want to get you some free ammo in your account today.
00:36:30.340 Now, let me explain what Ammo Squared is. Ammo Squared helps you stock up on ammunition automatically.
00:36:35.960 It's truly automated, set it, forget it, ammo purchasing. And you get to pick your calibers, you get to set your budget, you select a shipping trigger, and that's it.
00:36:44.660 Your ammo grows over time.
00:36:46.620 Here's the thing I love the most. Your ammo is stored free as it builds up and is shipped with a click of a button or automatic, however you want to do it.
00:36:56.680 It's literally like an ammunition subscription on steroids because you aren't forced into a set budget and or a shipment every month.

00:38:09.100 Senator, I got two more questions for you, and it deals again with the media.
00:38:12.900 One, the media hypocrisy, I think, is at an all-time high.
00:38:16.940 But how long until the media gets back in line and it's business as usual, how many more days can they continue to go after Joe Biden if he refuses to drop out?
00:38:26.520 Well, I think the instant Biden is out and they coronate the next person, then the media will absolutely fall in line and it will become a straight-on cheerleading.
00:38:35.920 It will be, hallelujah, hallelujah, the problems are all solved.
00:38:38.820 Now we must all vote for either Kamala or Michelle Obama and save America and stop Orange Man bad.
00:38:46.360 I mean, it would be instantaneous.
00:38:49.580 But, you know, let me make a couple of quick more observations on that point.
00:38:54.440 But, you know, as you and I were talking about doing interviews and getting questions ahead of time, as I said, I've done a gazillion of them and have not had the questions ahead of time.
00:39:04.360 But, you know, I was actually thinking about it.
00:39:07.660 On this podcast, we've interviewed a bunch of folks.
00:39:11.440 Now, I'm not a journalist.
00:39:12.440 I don't pretend to be a journalist.
00:39:13.500 But even when we interview people on this podcast, we've never given people questions ahead of time.
00:39:20.020 And I actually thought back to an interview that on this podcast, actually, before you were my co-host, when it was Michael Knowles and me, where we interviewed Bill Barr.
00:39:32.540 And we interviewed Bill Barr at the Department of Justice.
00:39:35.280 He was the sitting attorney general.
00:39:36.600 And it was interesting.
00:39:38.300 His communication staff was really freaked out.
00:39:41.480 And they were like, OK, well, how's this going to be?
00:39:44.040 And listen, I've known Bill for 20 years and we're friends.
00:39:47.220 And I'm telling him, relax.
00:39:48.980 I'm not going to play games.
00:39:51.120 This is not a gotcha interview.
00:39:53.840 This is not trying to, you know, go stick it to him.
00:39:56.800 And I didn't.
00:39:57.480 But it ended up being it was one of our most listens podcast we've ever done, in part because Bill was someone who would come across on TV as as pretty stiff and tight and, you know, very controlled.
00:40:10.920 And because he and I are friends, he was relaxed and we were cutting up.
00:40:16.040 And Bill is funny as hell.
00:40:17.600 I mean, he has this wickedly sarcastic sense of humor.
00:40:20.720 And it came out.
00:40:22.760 We had a great free range, free ranging interview that, look, when a podcast is good, it sounds like a couple of guys sitting at a cafe having dinner and just shooting the breeze talking about what's going on.
00:40:36.900 But even then, with someone I'd known 20 years, I don't even think I told him the topics we were going to discuss.
00:40:42.300 We just sat down.
00:40:43.920 And now I wasn't playing gotcha games, but that's what we did.
00:40:48.800 But let me make a second point.
00:40:51.680 About just how astonishingly rapidly the media can do 180 degree reversal.
00:41:00.760 So on this podcast, we've talked a lot about Hunter Biden and the whole Hunter Biden investigations and the trials.
00:41:08.480 And for months and months and months and for years and years and years, the White House narrative and the corporate media narrative was Hunter is a poor, troubled son.
00:41:18.620 He struggles with substance abuse.
00:41:21.820 He's a sad soul.
00:41:25.120 And just it's all about him.
00:41:26.780 But they've said he has nothing, nothing, nothing to do with the White House.
00:41:29.620 No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:41:30.820 Hunter, when he was making millions of dollars from every corrupt oligarch in every enemy of America across the planet, whether the Chinese communists or the Russians or what have you, that had nothing to do with favors from Papa Joe.
00:41:43.320 No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
00:41:44.600 Hunter is not at all connected to Joe Biden or the White House.
00:41:47.580 That's been their relentless talking point for years, correct?
00:41:52.080 Yes.
00:41:53.020 All right.
00:41:53.540 I want to read you this paragraph from Axios on July 7th behind the curtain on Bendable Biden versus Breaking Point Dems.
00:42:03.500 Quote, we're now in uncharted historic waters.
00:42:07.820 President Biden, backed by First Lady Jill Biden and his convicted son Hunter, who's serving as de facto gatekeeper to his dad, says that nothing besides an act of God will persuade him to quit his reelection campaign.
00:42:25.780 So without missing a beat, the corporate media can now suddenly admit Hunter is, quote, de facto gatekeeper to his dad.
00:42:36.480 This is the same Hunter who about 12 minutes ago, their walking storyline was, no, I don't know, Hunter's never met Joe Biden.
00:42:43.400 I'm sorry.
00:42:43.780 They have nothing to do.
00:42:44.700 He doesn't even know where the White House is.
00:42:46.480 No, no, no, no.
00:42:47.020 Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.
00:42:49.140 This is not about Joe Biden and his corruption.
00:42:51.820 Yeah, this is the media.
00:42:52.820 They'll get back in line soon.
00:42:53.940 Don't worry.
00:42:54.360 I give them a week and a half, two weeks, and then they'll start dialing back the full court press to get Biden out because they're then going to be afraid.
00:43:04.300 Maybe we can't get rid of him by when we want to.
00:43:07.760 So we got to pull back a little bit.
00:43:09.360 And I think going into these conventions coming up, it's going to be very interesting to see how they even deal with them.
00:43:15.080 If Joe Biden's still there at the convention and he's, quote, still the guy.
00:43:18.960 I also think this.
00:43:20.360 I got to ask a bonus question.
00:43:21.480 Do you think Donald Trump is going to have to, in essence, just put the VP pick on hold until they figure out who they're running against?
00:43:29.440 That is an awfully good question.
00:43:31.740 I mean, I don't know.
00:43:32.940 We're weeks away from you and I going to the convention.
00:43:35.840 We have no idea who the VP candidate is, and I'm not sure he does either.
00:43:40.380 Look, it is not a crazy question to ask.
00:43:43.860 The Trump campaign has said repeatedly that they'll announce the VP by the convention.
00:43:49.820 And, you know, usually the VP gives a big speech at the convention the day before the president does.
00:43:57.780 It is a tricky question because if you don't know who you're running against, that is certainly a real factor in trying to decide who the VP is.
00:44:05.780 Because it would I have not looked at the legal questions and how complicated it would be to name a VP after the convention.
00:44:13.320 But it would not be insane for Trump to delay that choice until he has some real confidence who his opponent's going to be.
00:44:22.120 Yeah, and that's where I'm sitting there just scratching my head.
00:44:25.620 It's going to be a fun one.
00:44:26.960 Don't forget the Senate.
