00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.560 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.280 The VP pick is in for Kamala Harris.
00:00:08.360 Welcome.
00:00:08.820 It is Verdict with Ted Cruz.
00:00:10.440 Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:12.200 Senator, where do you begin with this guy?
00:00:14.720 He's a governor of Minnesota.
00:00:17.000 He's all in favor of abortion until birth.
00:00:20.340 Transgender surgeries for minors.
00:00:22.280 Driver's license for illegal immigrants.
00:00:24.520 And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
00:00:26.740 So Ben, it sounds like you're a big supporter of Tim Waltz as the pick.
00:00:30.000 I love this guy.
00:00:31.740 Let's go all radical all the time.
00:00:33.960 At least we don't have to look at people and say, hey, guess what?
00:00:37.120 This guy's really crazy.
00:00:38.620 He's radical.
00:00:39.240 No, no, no, he's not.
00:00:40.320 He's a moderate.
00:00:40.900 This is a hardcore leftist.
00:00:43.280 Well, listen, what we're going to do in this podcast today is break down the choice that
00:00:47.260 Kamala Harris made of Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz to be her VP choice.
00:00:51.900 And I got to say, as a Republican, I'm really happy with this choice.
00:00:55.240 I think this is very good for Donald Trump.
00:00:57.760 I think this is very good for the country.
00:00:59.340 I think this decreases Kamala Harris's chances of winning.
00:01:02.960 I think it increases the Republicans' chances of winning.
00:01:05.420 So I think that's fantastic.
00:01:06.720 But we're going to break down why she made this choice, because I'm going to give a spoiler
00:01:10.720 alert right now.
00:01:11.760 I think this was the first major mistake of her very short-lived presidential campaign.
00:01:18.520 They've kept her locked down in a basement the whole time since she hasn't really had a
00:01:21.660 chance to make another mistake.
00:01:23.020 But I think this was a serious mistake.
00:01:24.520 We're going to break down why she made this choice, and then we're going to lay out why
00:01:28.700 it's a mistake, just how radical he is and how much it highlights how radical she is.
00:01:34.600 And to be clear, radical is not a good look going into a general election.
00:01:38.560 This is a consequential moment in this presidential election.
00:01:43.020 It's a consequential moment in the history of the country.
00:01:45.700 Yeah, it really is.
00:01:47.300 And when you hear his record, everyone needs to be armed with the facts about who he is.
00:01:51.960 And we're going to give it all to you.
00:01:54.300 This is a very important show.
00:01:56.560 So I'll say it at the outset.
00:01:57.980 Please share this podcast wherever you are on social media, because what we're going to
00:02:03.000 give you about who he is and what he stands for needs to be heard by everybody in the country.
00:02:08.380 And you guys do an incredible job of sharing this on social media.
00:02:12.040 And when we ask, this is one of those episodes, make sure you do it so everyone knows who this
00:02:17.780 VP pick is and what they believe in.
00:02:20.340 Let me tell you about Patriot Mobile real quick.
00:02:22.240 If you are like I am and you're just sick and tired of what's happening in this country
00:02:27.740 when it comes to radicals, especially at companies that you use, and then they don't share your
00:02:33.860 values.
00:02:34.340 In fact, they're attacking your values.
00:02:36.620 They're attacking your faith.
00:02:37.820 You're attacking your family values.
00:02:39.980 Well, there are companies out there that are now fighting back.
00:02:43.600 Patriot Mobile is one of those.
00:02:45.540 And they believe in America.
00:02:47.360 They believe in our Constitution.
00:02:49.280 And I am proud to partner with Patriot Mobile.
00:02:51.380 I've been telling you about them for years.
00:02:53.620 Why?
00:02:54.000 Because they're literally on the front lines fighting for our First and our Second Amendment
00:02:57.880 rights.
00:02:58.740 They're fighting for the sanctity of life.
00:03:00.740 And they're standing with our military, our veterans, our first responders, our wounded warriors,
00:03:06.320 and giving back every month.
00:03:08.000 Now, how do they do that?
00:03:08.920 Well, it's pretty awesome.
00:03:09.980 When you pay your bill to Patriot Mobile, they take about 5% of that bill every month.
00:03:15.240 And they give it back to conservative causes and organizations that fight for the sanctity
00:03:20.060 of life, for example, at no extra cost to you.
00:03:23.920 So if you're ready to take a stand for conservative values, well, then switch to Patriot Mobile today.
00:03:30.820 You're going to get the same nationwide coverage you're used to because they use the same towers
00:03:35.360 that you're using right now, except you get rid of the woke progressive agenda that Big Mobile brings to the table.
00:03:42.280 You get to go anywhere in the country and get the service you expect.
00:03:46.680 And they now have a service coverage guarantee.
00:03:51.760 That's pretty nice for peace of mind for you.
00:03:55.300 100% U.S.-based customer service team will find the best plan for your needs.
00:03:59.940 And you can keep your same number you have now, keep your phone you have now, or upgrade to a new one.
00:04:04.060 Now, I want to give you a free month of service as well.
00:04:07.380 Just go to PatriotMobile.com slash verdict.
00:04:11.060 PatriotMobile.com slash verdict or call them.

00:04:16.000 Right now, you're going to get a free month when you use the offer code VERDICT.
00:04:20.700 Don't get fooled by other providers pretending to share your values.

00:04:32.160 Go to PatriotMobile.com slash verdict or 9-7-2-PATRIOT for your free month of service today.
00:04:38.360 Senator, let's start by explaining this pick.
00:04:41.840 Because, number one, and I love when you and I get to talk about this type of political aspect in a show.
00:04:51.060 When you are picking a VP, the number one golden rule, whether you're on the Republican side, the Democrat side, or a third party candidate, is do no harm.
00:05:02.540 And you make sure that when you make a pick, you do no harm.
00:05:06.480 Your advisors should be telling you that, hey, we don't want to pick someone that hurts the ticket or maybe turns people off to us.
00:05:13.440 We want someone that most people like, but we do no harm.
00:05:17.240 And yet, we see the commentators like, oh, well, Kamala Harris was kind of forced into this pick.
00:05:22.000 She was kind of forced to push, you know, more of a hardcore lefty kind of radical.
00:05:27.220 No, she wanted this radical to help her with her radical agenda.
00:05:33.720 She was not forced into this pick.
00:05:35.900 She did this on her own, and we shouldn't let her off the hook for that.
00:05:39.500 Well, all right, let's rewind to the moment when Kamala Harris, it was clear she was going to be the nominee.
00:05:46.920 You and I, well, let's go back 10 months ago.
00:05:49.440 You and I 10 months ago predicted the Democrats would force Joe Biden off the ticket.
00:05:53.260 We were right.
00:05:55.580 Initially, I thought Michelle Obama would be the choice.
00:05:58.420 That proved to be wrong.
00:06:00.640 Once it became clear that the Democrats were circling the wagons around Kamala, I said, look, it's either going to be Michelle Obama or Kamala.
00:06:07.600 It was Kamala.
00:06:09.560 Immediately afterwards, you and I did a podcast where I said, all right, who's the VP going to be?
00:06:14.260 And I said, number one, they are going to pick the most boring white guy imaginable.
00:06:20.740 Now, let's be clear.
00:06:21.520 The Democrats are bean counters.
00:06:22.640 They're perfectly happy being racist, being sexist.
00:06:25.800 In the VP choice, the Democrats were very explicit.
00:06:30.080 No African-Americans need apply.
00:06:32.320 No Hispanics need apply.
00:06:34.420 No women need apply.
00:06:35.660 They were all excluded.
00:06:37.180 They only wanted boring white guys.
00:06:39.540 That was the entire group.
00:06:40.920 Gretchen Whitmer, there was a whole group.
00:06:42.360 They were like, oh, we're excited about her.
00:06:43.660 She had no chance.
00:06:44.520 She was a woman.
00:06:45.460 And the Democrats are perfectly happy and saying, nope, we ain't taking women.
00:06:49.740 We ain't taking African-Americans.
00:06:51.020 We ain't taking Hispanics.
00:06:53.300 As I said on this podcast, we're going to get the most boring white guy imaginable.
00:06:58.280 It's going to be Ned Flanders, coated in mayonnaise, eating Wonder Bread.
00:07:02.460 Well, those turned out to be the choices.
00:07:05.120 Now, initially, I laid out who I thought the top two choices would be.
00:07:08.880 And I said they'd be Josh Shapiro, governor of Pennsylvania, and Mark Kelly, senator from
00:07:14.720 Arizona.
00:07:15.640 And between the two, I thought they'd pick Shapiro.
00:07:18.380 Now, it turned out on this podcast, we predicted two of the final three.
00:07:24.600 Shapiro and Kelly were in the final three, and the third was Tim Walz.
00:07:27.580 We did not talk about Tim Walz.
00:07:29.720 Now, I have to say, listen, I think I've got a pretty good sense of politics and the state
00:07:36.780 of the country.
00:07:37.260 I don't always have a perfect sense of where the Democrats are.
00:07:41.900 And I will say, when I was laying out the odds for who the VP choice would be, I was assuming
00:07:48.780 the Democrats were two parts crazy and two parts stone cold killer.
00:07:55.040 So kind of equal.
00:07:56.220 They want to win, and it's why I thought Josh Shapiro was compelling.
00:08:01.540 It turns out I mixed up those ratios.
00:08:08.240 As I sit here today, I would say there are about five parts crazy and about one part stone
00:08:14.200 cold killer.
00:08:15.200 So the stone cold killer part threw Joe Biden overboard.
00:08:18.780 They dumped him like Fredo being asked to go out on a rowboat and say the rosary.
00:08:23.620 I mean, they were done with Joe Biden.
00:08:27.160 The reason I say they're more crazy than stone cold killer is this was a dumb choice.
00:08:33.160 So listen, why Josh Shapiro?
00:08:35.500 What was the argument for Josh Shapiro?
00:08:38.040 Number one, he's perceived as a moderate governor.
00:08:41.320 He ran as a moderate governor.
00:08:42.960 His reputation is as a moderate governor.
00:08:44.900 Number two, he's a very popular governor in Pennsylvania.
00:08:49.760 His numbers are good in Pennsylvania.
00:08:51.320 Pennsylvania is, without exaggeration, the most important swing state in the country.
00:08:56.180 It's neck and neck.
00:08:57.700 Depending on the polls you're looking at, Trump may be slightly ahead, but it's within low
00:09:01.780 single digits.
00:09:03.040 And it's got a ton of electoral votes.
00:09:06.040 The reason I believe Josh Shapiro was compelling is I thought there was a good chance that adding
00:09:11.680 Shapiro to the ticket gives Kamala Pennsylvania.
00:09:15.320 And I got to say, if you're sitting there looking for the Democrats saying, how do we win?
00:09:19.740 If you can take Pennsylvania off the map, that is powerful.
00:09:23.440 And by the way, our friend who we've had twice on this show, Dave McCormick running for Senate,
00:09:27.600 who I think Dave McCormick is likely to be the next senator from Pennsylvania, it would have
00:09:32.220 been really a problem for Dave if Josh Shapiro had been the nominee.
00:09:36.560 Because if the Democrats' numbers go up two, three points in Pennsylvania, it becomes much
00:09:41.200 harder for McCormick to beat Casey.
00:09:43.280 So if you're a Democrat, wow, that's compelling.
00:09:46.300 So you literally had, number one, the Electoral College math supporting Shapiro.
00:09:51.740 You had, number two, a lot of the donors saying Shapiro is a great choice.
00:09:57.620 And what happened, there was a lot of chatter about Shapiro, he was auditioning hard, he wanted
00:10:03.480 the job, and the radical left in the Democrat Party lost their mind.
00:10:11.260 And this pains me to say, there is, and we've talked about this before, there is a pro-Hamas
00:10:17.280 wing of the Democrat Party and the leftists, they could not stand, not that Shapiro was a
00:10:26.280 moderate, but that he's Jewish.
00:10:29.640 And I don't want to put, I don't want to muddy this up, because it's actually painful.
00:10:35.620 It is a bad thing that there is a major contingent of the Democrat Party who says, we will not
00:10:44.760 nominate a Jewish vice president.
00:10:48.520 Look, I believe if Josh Shapiro's name had been Josh Smith, the Democrat,
00:10:55.560 the Democrat ticket would be Harris Smith.
00:10:58.640 Like, everything else about Shapiro was compelling.
00:11:02.460 And they sat there and looked at the Electoral College math, they, number one, looked at states
00:11:07.760 like Michigan, with Dearborn, Michigan, a bunch of radical pro-Hamas leftists.
00:11:12.840 They looked at states like Minnesota with a bunch of Somali, radical anti-Israel, anti-Semites,
00:11:18.300 and they said, you know what, this causes a problem in our base.
00:11:22.200 And they came to the conclusion, the fact that this guy is Jewish is disqualifying.
00:11:30.460 And, and, all right, listen, most of the people who listen to this podcast are conservative or
00:11:36.280 libertarian or somewhat right of center, or at least open-minded, who want to listen to both
00:11:39.800 sides.
00:11:40.140 But, but maybe you're like, all right, Cruz, what, what he's saying, this is a little bit
00:11:44.540 tendentious.
00:11:46.120 Okay.
00:11:46.680 If you don't believe me, I want you to give a listen to Van Jones.
00:11:50.460 So Van Jones is a very left-wing commentator on CNN.
00:11:55.800 He's a Democrat.
00:11:56.800 He's a hard left Democrat.
00:11:58.920 But listen to what Van Jones said yesterday, the day of the, of the Tim Waltz pick about
00:12:05.840 what it means.
00:12:06.700 Give a listen.
00:12:07.140 Do you think it was a little risky though, Van, that, that, that she didn't go with Shapiro
00:12:11.700 to kind of lock down Pennsylvania?
00:12:13.160 I mean, yes, David Chowling was saying earlier, just because you pick him as your running mate
00:12:16.460 doesn't mean you automatically win Pennsylvania, but I got to think it would have helped just
00:12:20.320 a little bit.
00:12:21.240 Hey, listen, that, that, the, the conservatives, the right wing, the Republicans, they were chewing
00:12:25.820 their fingernails down to the knuckle because they were afraid of a Josh Shapiro.
00:12:30.400 They were afraid of a Mark Kelly.
00:12:31.680 They're not as afraid of this new governor because they think they can define him.
00:12:36.160 And, but so here's the challenge you've got in this party.
00:12:39.600 And, you know, people don't want to talk about it.
00:12:41.260 We got to talk about it.
00:12:42.360 On the one hand, you have a lot of young people who are concerned about Gaza.
00:12:45.740 You have a lot of Muslims and Arabs and others.
00:12:48.120 They have not felt seen by the Biden administration.
00:12:52.480 You start hearing that genocide joke that was building, that was building.
00:12:55.480 And so those folks needed to have a candidate that they could feel comfortable with.
00:13:00.000 Well, this helps them in that regard, but you also have anti-Semitism that has gotten
00:13:05.220 marbled into this party.
00:13:07.040 You can be for the Palestinians without being an anti-Jewish bigot, but there are some anti-Jewish
00:13:12.580 bigots out there and there's some disquiet now.
00:13:15.520 And there has to be how much of what just happened is caving into some of these darker
00:13:21.800 parts in the party.
00:13:22.760 So that's going to have to get worked out.
00:13:24.520 It's going to have to get talked.
00:13:25.840 Senator, you listen to what he's saying there.
00:13:28.060 And this goes back to something I've been saying for a while, and I think it's official
00:13:31.300 now.
00:13:32.200 I was right when I said the Democratic Party's dead.
00:13:35.120 They are filled now with anti-Semites, with Marxists, with socialists, with communists,
00:13:42.760 and they've just been masquerading as Democrats.
00:13:45.100 And if you don't believe me, the Democratic Socialists of America took a victory lap with
00:13:50.640 Walt's selection, saying this was like the best pick they could have asked for.
00:13:55.560 Harris's selection of Walt showed, quote, the world that the DSA and its allies on the
00:14:02.120 left are a force that cannot be ignored, quote unquote.
00:14:07.820 That is from the Democratic Socialists of America.
00:14:11.800 Yeah, look, and it's quite honest.
00:14:14.240 And so the fact that they didn't pick Shapiro, listen, listening to Van Jones, and I don't
00:14:19.120 know Van Jones personally.
00:14:20.040 I've met him briefly, but I don't know him.
00:14:23.080 I agree with every single word he said.
00:14:26.760 Like, I agreed at the front end.
00:14:28.760 He said Republicans were gnashing at their teeth that Kamala would have picked Josh Shapiro.
00:14:34.460 I certainly was.
00:14:35.440 I thought that was really damn dangerous.
00:14:38.120 My guess is Shapiro, probably adding him to the ticket, probably would have won Pennsylvania.
00:14:43.100 That's why I said that was the most likely choice, because if you're actually trying to
00:14:47.200 win, if it was David Axelrod making this pick, he'd have picked Shapiro.
00:14:50.940 I actually believe if it was James Carville making this pick, I think he would have picked
00:14:55.380 Shapiro.
00:14:55.800 I think a smart, tenacious Democrat who wants to win would have said, let's do it.
00:15:01.320 But as I said, I got the ratios wrong.
00:15:04.780 They have more crazy than they have Stone Cold Killer.
00:15:07.000 And the problem is there are too many rabid anti-Israel, anti-Semites in the party, and
00:15:13.920 I'm not saying everyone is.
00:15:15.140 I'm not saying everyone on Kamala's campaign is, but they're scared of the anti-Semites.
00:15:20.560 And so they're like, we can't piss them off, so let's not do that.
00:15:24.980 As an aside, I think there are a lot of people across this country who are Jewish, who are
00:15:32.220 liberal or moderate, who are sitting here wondering, listen, not a ton of people are
00:15:37.720 saying publicly what you and I are saying right now, but there are a ton of people thinking
00:15:41.900 it.
00:15:42.580 And I got to say, if you're a moderate, even liberal Jew, and you're looking at the Democrat
00:15:46.480 Party going, wait a second, it's now disqualifying as a candidate to be Jewish?
00:15:52.340 I just think there are a lot of people that when they lay their head down on the bed at
00:15:56.480 night, that quiet, still voice in their head, they're going to be like, why am I part of
00:16:01.380 a party that is embarrassed to have me?
00:16:04.800 And I think that's going to have real consequences going forward.
00:16:07.700 But let me say, secondly, even if they weren't willing to pick Shapiro because he's Jewish,
00:16:13.240 they had another choice, which is Mark Kelly.
00:16:15.200 And listen, I served with Mark Kelly.
00:16:17.300 And I got to say, I think Mark Kelly was an incredibly dangerous choice.
00:16:22.420 So Mark is someone, he's a Navy veteran, he's an astronaut.
00:16:25.760 His voting record has been very, very liberal, but he seems rational, reasonable, moderate.
00:16:34.260 Mark is someone, frankly, Ben, you'd love to get a beer with.
00:16:37.480 He just is a reasonable guy.
00:16:40.400 And so, and by the way, Mark doesn't have what's apparently the disqualifying factor in
00:16:45.180 the Democrat primary, which is to be Jewish.
00:16:47.020 So, like, if they're scared of the pro-Hamas zealots, Mark Kelly was a perfectly fine second
00:16:54.540 choice to land on.
00:16:56.300 And they fairly early through, and by the way, Arizona is a swing state too.
00:17:00.220 It doesn't have as many electoral votes as Pennsylvania.
00:17:03.320 But Mark Kelly is popular in Arizona.
00:17:06.360 He just got reelected in Arizona with strong numbers.
00:17:09.500 I mean, that was a perfectly reasonable play.
00:17:12.960 And the fact that they said no to that also, and they went with Tim Waltz, and I want to
00:17:18.100 go back, you open this pod by talking about how radical Tim Waltz is.
00:17:21.480 I don't know the guy.
00:17:22.200 I've never met him, so I don't know him personally.
00:17:24.800 But in the last 24 hours, I've looked at his record, and holy cow, this guy is hard, hard
00:17:32.220 left.
00:17:32.840 There's a reason the Democratic Socialists are celebrating him, as you just read.
00:17:37.300 There's a reason, within minutes of his being announced as VP, you know who tweeted out a
00:17:43.940 tweet praising it?
00:17:46.000 Ilhan Omar.
00:17:47.360 With a picture of her next to him, saying what a fantastic choice this was.
00:17:52.920 And listen, you know, she's from Minnesota.
00:17:56.960 She represents the radicals in Minnesota.
00:17:59.080 He's her governor.
00:18:00.240 And they've been strong, strong allies.
00:18:02.340 He's proud to stand with the radical, anti-Semite, Israel-hating, radical leftists like Ilhan
00:18:08.940 Omar.
00:18:09.840 And it says volumes.
00:18:11.640 You said at the outset, it's not that Kamala Harris picked Tim Waltz because she was bullied
00:18:17.560 into it by the left wing.
00:18:19.480 It's because she picked Tim Waltz because that's who she is.
00:18:22.860 She's a radical leftist.
00:18:24.820 You know, there was one nonpartisan source that rated her the single most liberal senator
00:18:29.620 in the entire U.S. Senate.
00:18:31.700 And he, likewise, he is one of, if not the most liberal governor in the entire country.
00:18:37.380 And I think this is birds of a feather that Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz and Ilhan Omar,
00:18:42.700 they agree with each other.
00:18:44.460 They're radicals.
00:18:45.280 And I think this pick speaks volumes.
00:18:47.940 On one level, that makes me happy as a Republican.
00:18:50.300 I think this makes the ticket significantly easier to beat.
00:18:54.880 On another level, it scares the hell out of me because if these guys win, they are running
00:19:00.500 on their radicalism.
00:19:01.740 And God help us if they're actually in office and implementing the policies that they are
00:19:07.260 true believers in.
00:19:08.700 Canadian women are looking for more.
00:19:10.840 More to themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them.
00:19:14.980 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.
00:19:18.360 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:19:19.960 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:19:21.260 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women, entrepreneurs, artists,
00:19:26.280 athletes, politicians, and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.
00:19:30.680 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.
00:19:33.900 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:19:39.760 Let's talk about some of those policies.
00:19:41.920 And one of them is just Waltz is a radical on issues of transgenderism.
00:19:47.260 Waltz has previously signed a bill, for example, requiring schools in Minnesota to stock boys'
00:19:54.800 bathrooms with, quote, period products.
00:19:58.800 He's also the same guy that signed a bill making Minnesota a sanctuary state and allowing
00:20:05.620 minors to go through sex change operations as well and taking away parental rights.
00:20:14.100 Megan Kelly put it this way earlier today.
00:20:16.600 She said, Tim Waltz is a guy that signed a bill to let the state take away your kids if you do not agree
00:20:23.320 to sterilize them and chop off their body parts in the name of, quote, gender-affirming care.
00:20:29.980 So if your 14-year-old is sad but thinks it's gender confusion and you object to castrating him,
00:20:37.000 then in the state of Minnesota, they say, no, no, no, the state will take custody.
00:20:42.940 That is who this governor is and what he stands for.
00:20:46.100 That is extreme, Senator, period.
00:20:49.320 And, Ben, how is that not hyperbole?
00:20:51.540 I mean, think where we were as a country 12 minutes ago.
00:20:54.560 Like, if we would have said, okay, not 12 minutes ago, but a couple of years ago,
00:21:01.200 that the Democrats want to take your kids, sterilize them, castrate them, cut their genitals off,
00:21:07.480 and make them permanently unable to have kids, people would have been like, okay, that's,
00:21:11.940 nobody is that crazy.
00:21:13.280 That'd be like saying the Democrats want to abolish the police, which they also want to do.
00:21:16.960 That'd be like saying the Democrats want open borders, which they also want to do.
00:21:20.020 That'd be like saying the Democrats side with Hamas against Israel, which they also do.
00:21:23.940 Like, this party, we have seen in the last couple of years, we've seen them go crazy.
00:21:30.600 But, let's take just the very first piece of that litany you gave.
00:21:35.820 So, Tim Waltz signed a bill requiring schools to put tampons in little boys' bathrooms.
00:21:43.780 Now, Ben, you're the father of three boys.
00:21:46.320 I'm going to go out on a limb, but I'm just going to ask you a question.
00:21:48.900 Have any of your boys ever needed a tampon?
00:21:51.520 No, and they never will because they're boys.
00:21:54.600 So, like, wait, wait, you're saying there's something, like, genetic, like they're lacking the equipment to need, like, wait, you can't be saying your boys don't menstruate, are you?
00:22:05.280 Yeah, yeah, I can.
00:22:06.280 And, by the way, they'll never be able to birth a child either.
00:22:10.020 And if that makes me a terrible person for saying it, then I'm totally fine to wear that t-shirt.
00:22:14.760 Like, it is, so the internet has already nicknamed him Tampon Tim, which is just, and by the way, let's go back to the talking point, which he coined.
00:22:24.680 You know the whole Republicans are weird?
00:22:27.840 It's Tim Waltz that came up with this.
00:22:29.920 The guy that thinks 10-year-old boys need tampons.
00:22:33.360 Now, that's pretty weird to me.
00:22:35.900 But he's the one, and what do these radical leftists go, oh, he's so real.
00:22:41.220 Oh, yeah.
00:22:42.220 He say, like, like, like, like they, oh, he said weird.
00:22:45.480 We love him.
00:22:46.140 They say he's down to earth.
00:22:47.940 Listen, what he did on sterilization of children, no child, no eight-year-old has the emotional maturity to make the decision to sterilize themselves for life, to remove their ability to have children, and to remove body parts.
00:23:08.580 If an adult wants to do that, that's not a decision I agree with, but I think an adult has a right to do that.
00:23:14.900 I don't like that decision, but, but they have a right to do that, because if you're an adult, you have maturity, you have, you have self-determination.
00:23:21.720 A child does not, and, and in my view, to sterilize, to castrate a child is child abuse, and, and, and listen, kids, kids believe all sorts of things.
00:23:34.660 I've seen kids that believe they're a dinosaur.
00:23:37.660 Does, does that mean you should, like, engraft Velociraptor nails on them?
00:23:41.880 No.
00:23:42.700 Children believe all sorts of things, and you know what?
00:23:44.900 Children change, because they grow up, they become adults, and, and this radical leftist view that if a four-year-old, a six-year-old, an eight-year-old child, if a boy believes he's a girl, if a girl believes she's a boy, that you should go in and medically make it impossible for them to change their mind.
00:24:03.460 I, I, I, I, that is not reasonable, that is not moderate, that, that is radical, and, and, and Tim Waltz is the poster child for this.
00:24:14.720 Well, and not only that, and I want parents to understand just how concerning it is, the extremism of his record.
00:24:22.180 Not only did the governor of Minnesota, Tim Waltz, now the VP candidate under Harris, do what you're talking about, but he also said, we are a sanctuary state, and we are a state, this was legally, he did this,
00:24:38.760 where children could undergo sex change operations, go back to the Associated Press, on March the 23rd of 2023, this is their quote,
00:24:48.320 Democratic Governor Tim Waltz signed an executive order two weeks ago to protect the rights of people from Minnesota and other states to receive gender-affirming health care in the state.
00:24:58.660 Minnesota lawmakers passed legislation to make their state a trans refuge, quote-unquote, for young people seeking sex change surgery.
00:25:08.200 The outlet noted that the legislation is meant to ensure that children undergoing gender transition procedures allowed under Minnesota law cannot be governed by child protection laws of any other state.
00:25:21.700 It's a direct response, they said, to South Dakota, where Republican Governor Christian Known signed a law banning puberty blockers, cross-sex hormone treatments, and sex change operations for transgendered individuals under the age of 18.
00:25:37.280 So what did they do in Minnesota?
00:25:38.920 They said, no, no, no, come here, and we will protect you with the full force of the law, and we'll make sure you can do whatever you want to do.
00:25:46.020 And by the way, let's traffic in this type of tourism and invite every parent to bring their kid to Minnesota that wants to do any of these radical surgeries.
00:25:55.000 Well, listen, in some ways, Minnesota has a natural advantage in that, because I'll say in the wintertime, it's so cold in Minnesota that you'll naturally freeze your nuts off.
00:26:06.300 I set you up for that one, didn't I?
00:26:08.920 I'm sorry, I couldn't resist that.
00:26:11.600 Minnesota's gorgeous in the summertime, I love it in the summertime, the lakes are beautiful, it's wonderful.
00:26:16.020 But I got to say, in February, I want to be in Houston and not in Minnesota.
00:26:21.320 I like me some sunshine.
00:26:23.180 Yeah, you and I can agree on that one.
00:26:25.680 I want to tell you real quick about our friends over at IFCJ and the incredible work that they're doing and what you can do to help.
00:26:31.820 We are quickly approaching the one-year anniversary of the horrific Hamas attacks on Israel,
00:26:37.680 and still, the Holy Land continues to be attacked on multiple fronts.
00:26:43.120 Deadly threats are increasing in northern Israel.
00:26:46.480 Constant rocket attacks from Hezbollah have been fired at Israel, causing widespread damage,
00:26:51.240 with raging wildfires destroying precious farmland now.
00:26:55.760 And they're doing it on purpose, the terrorists.
00:26:58.380 Since the war started, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews has been on the forefront in Israel,
00:27:04.800 addressing the needs of the most vulnerable.
00:27:06.580 That's why I want you to partner with IFCJ today.
00:27:10.340 Your life-saving donation will help provide emergency food, as well as critical security needs,
00:27:17.060 such as flak jackets, firefighting equipment, armored vehicles that include armored ambulances that have already saved countless lives,
00:27:27.240 and bomb shelters.
00:27:28.700 We're looking for 500 of you to join the fellowship and join me by donating $150 to meet these urgent security needs for the people in Israel.
00:27:41.440 And thanks to a generous IFCJ supporter, your gift is going to automatically be matched, doubling your impact in the Holy Land.
00:27:50.900 You can call to make your gift right now, 888-488-IFCJ.
00:27:58.280 That's 888-488-IFCJ, or 4325.
00:28:04.920 You can also go online to supportifcj.org to give.
00:28:11.660 That's one word, supportifcj.org to give right now, as Israel and the people need your support more than ever before.
00:28:22.060 Senator, let's also talk about Tim Walz and what he did during COVID.
00:28:28.880 He defended locking down schools during COVID, claiming he wouldn't have done anything differently.
00:28:36.760 He refused to say that there was a crisis ongoing, by the way, at our southern border,
00:28:41.560 as he also decided to give out driver's licenses to illegal immigrants and said every other state should do the same thing.
00:28:49.340 We've also seen the governor, while he's been governor, have a 21.6% increase in violent crime.
00:28:56.400 Many people believe this goes back to Black Lives Matter and the rioting and looting and the burning down
00:29:02.920 of so many different parts of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
00:29:09.100 And he even had his own wife who talked about how it was really nice to have the windows down
00:29:15.800 and to smell the tires burning as part of, like, some sort of cleansing.
00:29:21.720 Listen to her in her own words.
00:29:23.560 I would say those first days, you know, when there were riots, I could smell the burning tires.
00:29:33.020 And that was a very real thing.
00:29:40.100 And I kept the windows open for as long as I could because I felt like that was such a touchstone of what was happening.
00:29:46.680 We've also had Democrats come out that were mayors during the time of these riots who have attacked the governor,
00:29:54.380 saying we asked him and begged him for help.
00:29:56.460 We asked him to activate the National Guard as our cities were burning and black businesses were burnings.
00:30:01.640 And Tim did nothing.
00:30:04.780 That's exactly right.
00:30:05.960 Listen, I want to do a lightning round of just how radical Tim Waltz is,
00:30:09.940 because he is every bit as radical a leftist as Kamala Harris.
00:30:13.920 And the two of them are peas in a pod.
00:30:15.940 And it's Kamala, Tim Waltz, and Ilhan Omar that define today's Democrat Party.
00:30:20.840 So when it comes to Black Lives Matter riots, we saw Minneapolis burn.
00:30:27.480 Tim Waltz was complicit in that.
00:30:29.140 He did not send out the National Guard.
00:30:30.760 He delayed sending the National Guard.
00:30:32.520 He sat there.
00:30:33.260 He didn't arrest the rioters.
00:30:34.540 Look, the fundamental responsibility of any governor, any mayor, any police chief is to protect your citizens.
00:30:40.840 He refused to protect his citizens because he sided with the radicals who were burning the cities,
00:30:46.020 who were assaulting people, who were firebombing police cars.
00:30:49.060 And you know what Kamala Harris was doing while Tim Waltz was letting Minneapolis burn?
00:30:53.060 Kamala Harris was contributing to bail out the people who were burning Minneapolis.
00:30:58.340 They side with the radicals.
00:31:00.820 You look at his record.
00:31:02.100 All right, we're just going to go through a series of clips.
00:31:05.280 I want you to hear this.
00:31:06.640 Tim Waltz explaining his views on socialism.
00:31:09.220 Go.
00:31:10.020 You can get out there.
00:31:11.000 Reach out.
00:31:11.720 Make the case.
00:31:12.520 And for one thing, don't ever shy away from our progressive values.
00:31:16.660 One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness.
00:31:20.240 One person's socialism is another person's neighborliness.
00:31:24.740 So Kamala Harris picked, as her teammate, as her comrade in arms, someone who openly defends socialism.
00:31:32.220 By the way, I tweeted out yesterday, one person's theft is another person's Christmas.
00:31:37.980 Apparently, socialism is just neighborliness.
00:31:40.540 Just taking your stuff, giving it to someone else.
00:31:43.200 It's just being a neighbor.
00:31:44.800 All right.
00:31:45.120 How about during COVID?
00:31:46.240 What happened during COVID?
00:31:48.020 Tim Waltz literally set up a snitch line where neighbors could rat each other out for violating the government's tyrannical COVID orders.
00:31:57.920 Play this clip.
00:31:58.620 Hello, you have reached the Department of Public Safety stay-at-home hotline.
00:32:04.960 The information you leave is considered public information.
00:32:08.080 At the tone, please leave the following information.
00:32:11.040 Your name, your callback number, how the stay-at-home order is being violated, and where the stay-at-home order was violated.
00:32:20.000 Thank you.
00:32:21.300 Record your message at the tone.
00:32:22.840 When you are finished, hang up or press pound for more options.
00:32:26.820 Senator, snitch lines are used in communist countries, socialist countries, where you indoctrinate kids to snitch on their parents, right?
00:32:35.820 And you tell them, the kids, hey, come to school, and hey, tell the authorities, hey, tell us, the teachers, what your parents are doing that are going against the government.
00:32:44.300 And yet, this is what the governor was doing in Minnesota, actually using tax dollars to do exactly the same damn thing.
00:32:52.000 Look, we will lock you up.
00:32:53.980 Rat out your parents.
00:32:54.920 Rat out your kids.
00:32:55.760 Rat out your family members.
00:32:56.880 The government is in charge.
00:32:58.760 Anyone who violates my lockdown order, report on them to the government.
00:33:03.500 By the way, it's not surprising that Tim Waltz loves him some communist China.
00:33:09.520 Listen to this clip.
00:33:10.860 I've been focusing on, and I lived in China, and as I said, I've been there about 30 times, but if someone tells you they're an expert on China,
00:33:17.920 they're probably not telling you the truth, because it's a complex country.
00:33:20.540 But it's critically important for us.
00:33:21.920 I don't fall into the category that China necessarily needs to be an adversarial relationship.
00:33:26.820 I totally disagree.
00:33:27.720 I mean, this is a guy, and I go back to what I said earlier, these clips need to be shared everywhere.
00:33:34.240 So if you are an avid listener of verdict, share this podcast on social media, because the media is not going to play any of this for you.
00:33:43.240 So to be clear, he's not even saying that China is not our mortal enemy and we must destroy them.
00:33:49.340 He's saying, I don't fall into the category that China needs to be an adversarial relationship.
00:33:57.120 I totally disagree.
00:34:00.120 This is someone who's made a life embracing communist China.
00:34:04.820 And by the way, I want you to hear a really weird quote.
00:34:12.080 A weird quote.
00:34:13.920 So Tim Waltz grew up in a town called West Point, Nebraska in the 70s and 80s.
00:34:20.100 And here's a quote that he said.
00:34:23.100 He said, Waltz has always been fascinated by communist China.
00:34:27.120 He remembers from his childhood pictures of Mao Zedong hung in public places and carried in parades.
00:34:37.120 Now, in West Point, Nebraska, that was a town of about 3,300 people.
00:34:43.460 Who the hell was hanging pictures of Mao Zedong and carrying them in parades?
00:34:48.900 I mean, this is a guy who literally says, like, there are pro-communist parades in Nebraska.
00:34:55.240 Like, what circles was this guy running on?
00:34:58.780 And you're right.
00:34:59.240 The media is not going to report on that.
00:35:01.060 That's from a newspaper, from an article where they thought that was praising him.
00:35:07.240 But, all right, let's go through a little bit more of his record.
00:35:11.320 How about open borders?
00:35:13.020 So we know that he signed into law, a law that allows Minnesota residents to get driver's license,
00:35:21.600 even if they're illegal aliens.
00:35:23.260 Play that clip.
00:35:24.680 It's done.
00:35:26.620 A packed room at the St. Paul Armory erupted after the governor's signature made driver's license for all the law of the land.
00:35:35.400 I mean, he was so excited about this.
00:35:38.380 It is law.
00:35:39.540 Come to Minnesota, illegal immigrants, and I'll give you everything you want, including that driver's license.
00:35:44.760 And then he said that every other state should do it as well.
00:35:48.220 Well, and listen, it's not like Tim Waltz, like Kamala Harris, is rooting for 11.5 million illegal immigrants to invade this country.
00:35:56.500 Well, no, actually it is.
00:35:58.240 Listen to what he said about whether he wants illegal aliens to climb the border wall and invade this country illegally.
00:36:05.540 Play that clip.
00:36:06.120 And I think seeing a plan that's out there, talking about it with folks, knowing that he's not going to do anything.
00:36:13.340 You know, he talks about this wall.
00:36:15.000 I always say, let me know how high it is.
00:36:16.540 If it's 25 feet, then I'll invest in the 30-foot ladder factory.
00:36:19.380 That's not how you stop this.
00:36:21.500 This is a guy that has done a 180 from everything you would do if you believed in securing our borders.
00:36:29.700 He is a wide-open sanctuary state.
00:36:32.120 He is in favor of adding laddery factories to help illegals get across the wall.
00:36:37.240 If they built the wall, he is a guy that says, come into our state.
00:36:42.340 Wherever you're coming from in the world, we are a sanctuary state, and we're proud to say that that is what we are.
00:36:48.940 And this goes back to what you said.
00:36:51.040 He is a radical that is there clearly to help Kamala Harris enforce her radical agenda ideas.
00:36:59.100 Well, and understand, he's not saying as like a financial matter that he wants to invest in ladder companies.
00:37:06.300 He's not advising that as a stock-picking tip.
00:37:09.640 What he's saying is he's rooting for the people climbing the wall.
00:37:13.940 He's rooting for the people crossing into this country, and he's not admitting this, but he's rooting for the human traffickers.
00:37:20.000 He's rooting, effectively, for the drug cartels.
00:37:23.000 And that's exactly where Kamala Harris is.
00:37:25.680 Kamala Harris was our border czar.
00:37:27.400 She was in charge of the border during this invasion of 11.5 million people, and Tim Waltz is there.
00:37:34.540 He will be the cheerleader.
00:37:35.800 The two of them will wave their pom-poms, cheering on the invasion, going, yay, ladders, yay, tunnels, get into this country illegally.
00:37:45.000 Why?
00:37:45.700 Because we think you're going to vote for Democrats.
00:37:47.880 And his record is he supports open borders.
00:37:52.960 So does Kamala Harris.
00:37:53.900 That's why she picked him.
00:37:54.740 Yeah, and the media falling all over themselves, trying to describe the VP pick, Tim Waltz, as a moderate.
00:38:01.780 Does abortion on demand sound like a moderate?
00:38:04.340 Does transgender surgeries on minors sound like a moderate?
00:38:07.440 Does allowing Black Lives Matter to burn down the Twin Cities sound like a moderate to you?
00:38:12.060 This is who he is.
00:38:13.520 Do not fall for what the media is telling us about and try to act like, oh, he's just a moderate Midwestern governor.
00:38:20.180 No, he is a radical extremist.
00:38:23.200 Look at his own words.

00:39:59.360 Senator, I mean, we really could see it in the just moments and hours after the announcement from Kamala Harris of the VP pick being Waltz that the media had one clear plan and strategy, and that was describe the pick, Tim Waltz, as a moderate.
00:40:18.580 He is nothing but a radical.
00:40:21.240 Listen, that is absolutely right.
00:40:24.440 This is someone who is an extremist.
00:40:26.800 His record, he's embraced socialism.
00:40:28.460 He's embraced open borders.
00:40:30.880 He's embraced COVID lockdown.
00:40:32.820 He was responsible for shutting schools down in Minnesota and hurting low-income kids, hurting African-American kids, hurting Hispanic kids in his state.
00:40:41.300 He's been a radical on gender extremism, including castrating and sterilizing little boys and little girls.
00:40:48.380 He mandates that tampons be provided to 10-year-old boys.
00:40:53.860 He loves him some communist China.
00:40:56.140 He's lived in China.
00:40:57.020 He says we shouldn't be an adversary.
00:40:58.460 He's advocated ladder factories to climb over border walls.
00:41:03.700 He has been extreme.
00:41:06.760 But the media says, oh, he's a Midwestern guy.
00:41:10.400 He was a schoolteacher.
00:41:11.940 By the way, Bowman, the squad member in New York who was just beaten in a Democrat primary because he was so radical and so anti-Israel and such a socialist, he was a schoolteacher.
00:41:21.200 I've got to say, there are a bunch of radicals that are schoolteachers.
00:41:24.000 So just saying that is not a moderating middle-of-the-road factor necessarily.
00:41:29.880 But part of what the media is trying to say is, well, he's a Midwesterner who appeals to country folks.
00:41:37.460 He appeals to rural voters.
00:41:39.480 Now, to be clear, in Minnesota, he did even worse with rural voters than his predecessors.
00:41:43.800 But I want you to listen to what Tim Walz thinks about rural America.
00:41:49.040 You see those maps?
00:41:50.420 Red and blue and there's all that red across there.
00:41:52.980 Democrats go into depression over it.
00:41:54.900 It's mostly rocks and cows that are in that red area.
00:41:57.880 Rocks and cows, Senator.
00:42:00.020 That's what he thinks.
00:42:01.660 That's what he thinks about rural America.
00:42:03.640 This is the governor of Minneapolis.
00:42:06.760 This is the governor of left-wing pro-China radicals.
00:42:11.040 And Kamala Harris is the vice president of San Francisco.
00:42:15.140 And that's who they're running to represent.
00:42:17.180 And if you happen not to be a San Francisco leftist, if you happen not to be a Minneapolis leftist,
00:42:23.320 if you happen not to love communist China, not to love open borders, not to love BLM rioters burning your city to the ground,
00:42:29.580 well, they're not running to represent you.
