00:00:34.680 Good Saturday morning. It's nice to have you with us on the Week in Review.
00:00:38.260 Verdict with Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:40.360 And here are some of the stories that you may have missed that we talked about this week.
00:00:43.900 First up, El Saeed trying to tone down the rhetoric of his past to make you feel like he's not a radical.
00:00:51.240 Well, how radical is he? Just take a look at his sister in her own words,
00:00:55.700 And you'll understand exactly where they're all coming from.
00:00:59.280 Up next, the Democrat Socialists of America, they put out their platform agenda and it's radical.
00:01:04.640 Well, now the Democratic Party has put out some of their new mandates and it includes abolishing ICE.
00:01:12.720 Are they competing for who's more extreme? We explain that as well.
00:01:16.520 And finally, a new national security concern that involves Hassan Piker and his brother.
00:01:22.440 So what has he said to put him on a concern list?
00:01:25.220 we have that for you as well it's the week in review and it starts right now
00:01:30.480 democrats are used to the media just being their their cheer cheerleaders and press agents
00:01:35.900 and so any criticism they don't don't know how to handle all right so you've heard the stunning news
00:01:41.040 about the conference he's speaking at alongside this radical calling for pedophilia of your young
00:01:46.220 family members you've heard the stunning news that he was responsible for killing over 4 000
00:01:51.020 and dogs, and cats, and puppies, and kittens. Surely there can't be more, and as the old movie
00:01:56.900 Airplane says, yes, there can, and don't call me Shirley. I want you to take a moment and acquaint
00:02:03.860 yourself with Abdul Al-Sayed's sister. Now, Abdul's own record is of being a Marxist,
00:02:13.960 islamist america hater i gotta say as bad as he is his sister is something really special
00:02:21.760 she's a professor at the university of chicago and and unfortunately so many of our professors 0.98
00:02:27.160 are radical she's a full-on communist she's a marxist she's a rabid islamist she is a naked 0.94
00:02:35.180 jew hater and she hates america i'm going to back all this up these are not empty charges all right 0.97
00:02:40.660 October 7th, October 7th, when Hamas massacred over 1,200 innocents in Israel, when they 0.98
00:02:49.900 raped little girls and women in the streets.
00:02:54.060 That morning, Abdul's sister, Emin Abdel Hadi, tweeted the following, this is the entirety
00:03:03.140 of her tweet, morning freedom with a Palestinian flag.
00:03:09.100 Wow.
00:03:09.200 That was her tweet celebrating.
00:03:12.320 That was at 5.51 a.m. on October 7th, 2023.
00:03:16.540 That's while people, while women and girls are still being raped, she's celebrating.
00:03:20.580 And you might say, well, maybe she didn't know the facts.
00:03:24.260 Well, then let's go till later in the day on October 7th.
00:03:29.040 So Bernie Sanders, Bernie Sanders, his own record attacking Israel and welcoming anti-Semitism is unfortunate.
00:03:37.060 but here's what bernie sanders said on october 7th i absolutely condemn the horrifying attack 0.74
00:03:43.620 on israel by hamas and islamic jihad there is no justification for this violence and innocent
00:03:50.160 people on both sides will suffer hugely because of it it must end now so that's what bernie sanders
00:03:55.680 said the morning october 7th here's what abdul's sister said at 11 0 7 a.m on october 7th
00:04:02.300 retweeting or quote tweeting Bernie Sanders what a disappointment if you can't stand with
00:04:10.260 the people that have been held in an open prison for 16 years finally fighting their oppressors
00:04:16.540 how can you claim to stand for justice so understand her complaint is Bernie Sanders
00:04:23.600 was not pro-Hamas enough she needed him to be even more pro-Hamas that's how radical she is
00:04:31.340 that's how much she hates israel that's how much she hates jews and and and and and by the way
00:04:37.900 she's also a communist so listen to her this is her own voice talking about what she thinks about
00:04:45.280 capitalism capitalism is at the root of pretty much all of our social ills and has some way that
00:04:53.320 it plays a lot into all the oppressions that we face. So for me, I don't see issues of sexuality
00:05:02.660 or race or gender as separate from issues of economic justice. Capitalism has done a really
00:05:10.780 good job of dividing us and has done a really good job of objectifying our bodies and just
00:05:18.740 basically stealing from generation after generation of people who aren't at the top.
00:05:24.960 So socialism really affects every type of political activity that I'm in.
00:05:30.020 There's no separation for me between all of these things.
00:05:34.680 Senator, you listened to how well thought out her answer was.
00:05:40.780 This is a core belief.
00:05:42.880 I think it's pretty clear that you have core beliefs in this family.
00:05:47.040 and this is the radicalization of a family one of them has to dial it back a little bit even though
00:05:53.700 he didn't dial it back for years let's also be clear about that and al-said and so it's like
00:05:59.360 okay i guess we can pull it back just a little bit while i'm trying to you know become an elected
00:06:03.920 official yeah look and and and al-said has talked about how he hates thanksgiving it turns out his
00:06:10.780 sister does too here's what she's tweeted on on thanksgiving and july 4th quote we can't have nice
00:06:17.800 things under settler colonialism may all the empires fall and then on july 4th quote excuse
00:06:26.600 me if i don't celebrate the transfer of stolen land from one colonizer to another hashtag july 4th
00:06:34.880 and then amazingly enough so she didn't think bernie sanders was woke enough or israel hating
00:06:39.800 enough or America hating enough she also didn't think the University of Michigan was so the
00:06:44.640 University of Michigan in this on December 8th 2023 tweeted out in the context of the national
00:06:52.080 discourse the University of Michigan unequivocally condemns calls for the genocide of Jews or any
00:07:00.200 other peoples as this is antithetical to our values so okay fairly mild tweet saying that
00:07:07.100 university of michigan is against the genocide of jews what what what was abdul's sister's reaction
00:07:12.340 to this quote the students you have been arresting and disciplining have not been calling for a
00:07:19.680 genocide of jews they have been calling for an end to the current actual ongoing genocide of
00:07:25.500 the palestinian people i am ashamed to be a michigan wolverine wow that was in response
00:07:35.700 to Michigan saying they opposed the genocide of Jews. That made her ashamed to be a Michigan
00:07:42.940 Wolverine. And final thing I want you to hear about her. Surely she's proud to be a professor
00:07:48.100 at the University of Chicago. I mean, after all, that's her employer. That's where she teaches.
00:07:52.220 She teaches right now. She poisons the minds of young students right now at the University of 1.00
00:07:56.380 Chicago. Obviously, she's proud of that. Well, turns out she's not. Give a listen to what she 0.89
00:08:01.380 has to say about the university of chicago where she is a professor right now the university of
00:08:06.700 chicago it's evil like you know it's a colonial landlord like why would i why would i put any of
00:08:13.440 my political energy into this space and i kind of had a little bit of disdain for uh for for like
00:08:19.100 people who spent a lot of time doing that and the genocide really collapsed that and made me realize
00:08:25.780 that two things. One is that, well, my students needed me. So it was like, oh, I actually have
00:08:33.140 to organize here to take care of my students who I do care about. But I also realize, and I think
00:08:39.780 this is a lesson, this is a painful lesson that a lot of us in the Palestine Solidarity Movement
00:08:43.800 have been learning, is that we don't have power. We can shift the moral authority all we want. We've
00:08:51.100 won the moral question like we that was the imperative that we've had we will
00:08:54.720 done check like put Palestine in the national consciousness we did it you
00:09:00.240 know make people sympathetic to Palestine teach the history we did it
00:09:03.760 like now you have white boys on the north side of Chicago being like hey man
00:09:06.820 free Palestine I'm like okay did not see it coming glad it's here but what we 0.64
00:09:14.620 don't have is power and I think for me the question of base building is about 0.80
00:09:18.580 But I think the question that I'm asking myself and I'm asking you to ask yourself is where can I actually build power?
00:09:25.100 Turns out I work at one of the biggest employers in the city of Chicago.
00:09:30.160 I work at a place that is a landlord, a health care provider, a police force. 1.00
00:09:36.160 F*** that s***. 0.99
00:09:37.080 But they are, right? 0.99
00:09:38.860 And a place where I have access to thousands of people that I could potentially organize.
00:09:44.280 And you know what?
00:09:44.800 It's not fun.
00:09:45.860 Organizing academics?
00:09:46.720 next time you're in your organizing meeting being frustrated please think of me please think about
00:09:53.400 me trying to organize like academics like it's brutal i never saw this coming however but i'm
00:10:00.960 just like actually this is where i need to build power right like this is my best possible
00:10:07.480 structural leverage and so i do i do one-on-ones with my liberal colleagues who are like well i
00:10:12.760 don't know but you know i just think we should live the life of the mind here in high park
00:10:17.420 it was like yeah you know i hear you totally yeah unbelievable like that this is and this and by the
00:10:25.780 way this is when you and i've warned for a long time you need to pay attention where you send
00:10:30.740 your kids to school and who's indoctrinating them because this is a woman who is indoctrinating
00:10:36.200 children or young adults in college each and every day so what she says is f the university of 0.97
00:10:44.020 chicago it's evil but where can i build power i have access to thousands of people i can
00:10:54.320 potentially organize so the students the young people she is trying to proselytize them and 0.68
00:11:00.980 turned them into islamists and communists and what she says explicitly is this is where i need
00:11:08.600 to build power well let me just ask you something where do you think abdul el sayed thinks he needs 0.59
00:11:16.760 to build power this is a family raised on hate and this is a family devoted to hate that's how
00:11:26.680 radical. The Democrats nominees are this cycle. Now, if you want to hear the rest of this
00:11:31.720 conversation, you can go back and listen to the full podcast from earlier this week.
00:11:56.680 Just listen to Pure Country for 10 minutes a day
00:11:59.420 on the free iHeartRadio app, and you're in to win.

00:12:05.740 Available now.
00:12:10.300 Why should you listen to Armstrong and Getty On Demand?
00:12:13.920 We're not boring.
00:12:14.820 A lot of news is boring.
00:12:15.800 And tedious.
00:12:16.700 And depressing.
00:12:17.280 And makes you angry.
00:12:18.660 You don't want to live your life like that.
00:12:20.660 But you do want to be informed.
00:12:22.480 Can you be informed without being all of those other things?
00:12:25.680 We think so.
00:12:26.660 Jack Armstrong and Joe Getty.
00:12:28.140 The Armstrong and Getty Show.
00:12:29.980 We try to bring you the truth and help you figure out this crazy modern world.
00:12:33.780 If you shoot at us and we deflect it, it doesn't really count.
00:12:37.740 And that just doesn't make any sense.
00:12:39.180 You've got to make a rule.
00:12:40.180 Don't shoot at the United States. 0.98
00:12:42.460 Or if you prefer, Iran, blah, blah, blah.
00:12:46.320 America haters are winning.
00:12:47.700 The would-be communists, the Marxists are winning in America.
00:12:51.820 And they're doing so openly and nobody cares.
00:12:55.120 I think giving the downtrodden money enables them.
00:12:58.500 They aren't getting the money.
00:12:59.760 I'm winning.
00:13:00.900 Good Lord, that was the voice of the patriarchy right there, folks.
00:13:04.180 Listen to Armstrong and Getty On Demand on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever
00:13:09.080 you get your podcasts.
00:13:10.740 Now on to story number two.
00:13:13.200 And by the way, if you thought it was just the Democratic Socialists of America that
00:13:17.880 were really getting their mojo, I guess now the DNC is trying to say, no, no, no, we're
00:13:24.840 just as radical as you are uh with a new stance that the democratic national committee just when
00:13:31.020 you thought they might try to like dial it down a little bit the crazy they have now changed their
00:13:36.240 platform to say hold on we're all in on abolishing ice making sure they don't exist anymore well and
00:13:44.540 and there's some democrat politicians who pretend oh this is an extreme view it's only by the
00:13:48.920 radicals the dsa the communists and socialists in our party although they won't admit they're
00:13:52.660 communists and socialists in their party it's not the rest of us normal democrats well this past
00:13:59.020 week the dnc was meeting in austin texas sadly sadly in our home state and the dnc adopted a
00:14:08.040 resolution urging congressional democrats to abolish ice and the abolition measure it was
00:14:16.560 known as resolution 27 it cleared the dnc's resolution committee in a 25 to 12 vote with
00:14:25.260 one abstention it headed to the full membership it was bundled into a larger package and it was
00:14:33.440 approved by the full membership what do you think the vote was well i i'm assuming knowing the
00:14:38.280 democratic party and radical as they are it was probably a very high success rate unanimous there
00:14:44.280 you go. Every single person voting voted yes. The vote's non-binding. It doesn't formally change
00:14:50.400 the party's platform for 2028, but the DNC has now voted for a resolution saying abolish ICE,
00:14:58.860 and understand what abolish ICE means. ICE is the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency. It is
00:15:05.580 the agency that tracks down illegal immigrants inside the interior of the United States. It
00:15:10.820 tracks down gangbangers it tracks down ms13 and trender aragua it it tracks down murderers and
00:15:18.020 child rapists and human traffickers and the position now adopted unanimously by the dnc
00:15:24.740 is the democrats want to abolish it if you abolish ice it means you you are no longer willing to
00:15:31.940 enforce our immigration laws it means you want the illegal immigrants in america to stay here by the
00:15:36.940 with no ice nobody gets deported like like once you get in you stay here forever with no ice with 0.93
00:15:42.760 no ice the the criminal gangbangers who are illegals they're not prosecuted they're not
00:15:48.800 arrested by the way the over 300,000 children that the Biden administration had in federal
00:15:55.160 custody that they handed over to adults and then lost and many of those adults were not family
00:16:00.100 members they don't know where they are the Trump administration one of the most important things
00:16:03.980 they've done is they've gone and tracked down thousands upon thousands of those kids and gotten
00:16:08.140 them out of situations where they're facing the potential for abuse sexual abuse physical abuse
00:16:13.120 the position of the democrats is to heck with those kids leave them where they are we're not
00:16:17.700 going to enforce we're not going to investigate we're not going to do anything because look
00:16:22.840 abolish ICE is the immigration version of abolish the police and we've talked a lot on this pod
00:16:31.300 about how radicalized the Democrats have gotten.
00:16:33.800 This is no longer the fringe.
00:16:36.520 This is the unanimously adopted resolution position
00:16:39.780 of the entire Democrat National Committee.
00:16:43.080 That means even the most supposedly moderate Democrat,
00:16:48.740 their party's position is get rid of ICE altogether.
00:16:52.420 And Senator, final question on this.
00:16:54.960 You look at the pushing here by the left to force,
00:16:59.880 i think it's pretty darn clear um that the democratic party to just become more and more
00:17:07.700 more extreme will there be pushback or is this them just admitting hey stick with us we're going
00:17:15.520 to where you are in the democratic socialists or do you believe that voters are going to say
00:17:20.860 democratic party you've gone too far well look i hope so uh that's what the midterms are going
00:17:27.520 to determine, at least as an initial push. I hope the voters say, listen, I don't want unlimited
00:17:33.720 illegal immigrants in our country. I don't want criminals released. I don't want ICE abolished. 1.00
00:17:37.580 I don't want the police abolished. I want to lock up criminals and bad guys. Here's what the White
00:17:42.440 House said. A White House spokeswoman, Lauren Biss, said the following this weekend, quote,
00:17:48.080 extreme radical Democrats want to abolish ICE and defund the police. Instead of trying to abolish
00:17:53.820 ICE, Democrats should be thanking ICE law enforcement officers for putting their lives
00:17:58.440 on the line to arrest and remove murderers, rapists, pedophiles, and gang members from
00:18:03.320 American communities. Many of these criminals were released from jails by Democrat radical
00:18:08.140 politicians. President Trump's effort to remove criminal illegal aliens from American communities
00:18:13.420 is already delivering results including the lowest murder rate in 125 years that's a profound record
00:18:24.520 of success but look elections are about making the case to the american people so i hope all of
00:18:30.720 the republicans on the ballot make the case that that producing extraordinary results in immigration
00:18:37.160 seeing illegal border crossings drop 99 percent producing 20 percent drops in the murder rates
00:18:43.000 and 20 percent drops in the deaths from drug overdoses that is saving the lives of literally
00:18:48.460 thousands of americans that's a record of success and the democrats are saying don't just go back
00:18:53.060 to joe biden era listen when biden was president we had ice we we had not abolished the police
00:18:58.660 although democrats in cities and munich had slashed the funding of a number of police departments
00:19:03.940 the democrat position now is go further than than biden they don't just want open borders they want
00:19:10.860 to release violent criminals and and and i gotta say i don't think that's where most americans are
00:19:17.860 i i think if you talk to your average american citizen a republican yes but also an independent
00:19:23.760 or even most democrats and ask them do you want to release murderers and rapists into your community
00:19:30.100 it is only the extreme zealots who would say yes that used to be a position that was a bipartisan
00:19:36.580 like obvious duh position today the democrats are being driven by their zealots and and the
00:19:43.560 rest of the party is terrified of those zealots and so between now and election day we need to
00:19:49.820 make the case to the voters and and i hope every candidate does so i can tell you on this podcast
00:19:53.740 we're certainly going to lay out the facts and make the case that we should be protecting american
00:19:58.840 citizens and not uh releasing violent criminal illegal aliens into the united states i think
00:20:04.720 that's basic common sense i think that's where most americans are as before if you want to hear
00:20:09.440 the rest of this conversation on this topic you can go back and download the podcast from early
00:20:14.440 this week to hear the entire thing hey i'm ruby car the host of the podcast encore check out our

00:20:36.700 all the things she said and how they all became a part of this global phenomenon stream encore
00:20:42.040 on iheart radio crave or wherever you get your podcasts why should you listen to armstrong and
00:20:49.040 getty on demand we're not boring a lot of news is boring and tedious and depressing and makes you
00:20:54.240 angry you don't want to live your life like that but you do want to be informed can you be informed
00:21:00.080 without being all of those other things we think so jack armstrong and joe getty the armstrong and
00:21:05.580 getty show we try to bring you the truth and help you figure out this crazy modern world if you
00:21:10.360 shoot at us and we deflect it it doesn't really count and that just doesn't make any sense you
00:21:15.620 gotta make a rule don't shoot at the united states or if you prefer iran blah blah blah
00:21:21.860 America haters are winning.
00:21:24.080 The would-be communists, the Marxists, are winning in America.
00:21:28.180 And they're doing so openly, and nobody cares.
00:21:31.900 I think giving the downtrodden money enables them.
00:21:34.800 They aren't getting the money.
00:21:36.100 I'm winning.
00:21:37.160 Good Lord, that was the voice of the patriarchy right there, folks.
00:21:40.580 Listen to Armstrong and Getty On Demand on the iHeartRadio app,
00:21:43.880 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.
00:21:47.420 I want to get back to the big story number three of the week you may have missed.
00:21:51.620 All right, Senator, I want to get into this national security issue, the media not talking about it.
00:21:57.120 But Hassan Piker's got a wingman brother.
00:21:59.640 He is a space engineer with security clearance.
00:22:02.960 Now, that on its face, not a big deal.
00:22:05.640 What's a big deal is the details behind the brother.
00:22:08.660 Well, let's start with Hassan Piker.
00:22:10.020 Hassan Piker is a radical.
00:22:12.120 This entire show, we've been talking about the radicals who sadly are becoming more and more commonplace on the left,
00:22:18.740 more and more commonplace in the Democrat Party.
00:22:20.600 And Hassan Piker is a great example of he's an influencer who the Democrats have embraced.
00:22:25.900 He is a communist. 0.96
00:22:27.440 He is an Islamist. 0.99
00:22:28.880 He hates America. 1.00
00:22:30.140 He routinely rails. 1.00
00:22:31.860 He hates African-Americans. 1.00
00:22:33.380 He hates white Americans. 1.00
00:22:34.640 He hates the United States of America. 0.98
00:22:36.540 He has said, and this is a quote, America deserved 9-11. 0.57
00:22:42.380 This is, and by the way, Abdul Al-Said and other Democrats campaign with him, embrace him. 0.61
00:22:48.200 look by when they stand next to him and both figuratively and literally embrace him that
00:22:54.180 they're saying they support his ideas well turns out Hassan Piker has a brother and his brother
00:22:59.920 is in a position that if he believes the same thing Hassan does he's in a position to do real
00:23:05.240 damage here's a story from the from the Washington Free Beacon Hassan Piker's younger brother is an
00:23:10.520 aerospace engineer with security clearances who spent years working on U.S. military projects for
00:23:16.480 Boeing, projects that include Air Force One and the top secret, quote, doomsday plane designed for
00:23:24.180 nuclear war. Now, let's see, is this guy, maybe the brother, he doesn't have anything to do with
00:23:29.400 Hassan Piker, he doesn't agree with his views, maybe they're estranged, that might be a different
00:23:33.320 circumstance. Well, turns out that is not the case. Let me continue reading. Murat Piker, an engineer
00:23:39.160 who spent more than a decade at Boeing, regularly appears on his older brother's controversial social
00:23:46.000 media channel and has also accompanied him to events. Hassan has declared that, quote,
00:23:53.940 America deserved 9-11, bragged about his support for Hamas, spoken in favor of Iran's right to
00:23:58.640 defend itself, and blamed Iran's death to America and great Satan rhetoric on the United States, 0.65
00:24:03.680 quote, messing around in the Middle East. Well, his kid brother, Murat, worked as a full-time
00:24:10.480 employee at Boeing for more than a decade, and left on his own, of his own volition earlier this
00:24:16.380 year. He said, quote, my background includes significant experience at Boeing Space and
00:24:22.960 Defense, where I led mechanical design and integration for next-generation satellite
00:24:27.000 structures, managed high-pressure anomaly investigations, and defined structural
00:24:32.320 interfaces across subsystems. That's what Murat says on his LinkedIn page.
00:24:37.340 uh murat and hassan piker were both born in new jersey but they did their primary and their
00:24:45.140 secondary schooling in turkey uh murat worked on air force one uh and and you just you have to ask
00:24:53.860 i don't know if if murat shares his brother's hatred for america his brother's embrace of
00:24:59.860 radical Islam. But given that they have done Hassan Piker's show repeatedly together,
00:25:08.400 gone to events together, that is a reasonable inference and it's a reasonable question.
00:25:13.200 And it raises the question, listen, if this is someone that hates America and wants to do damage
00:25:17.720 to America, what harm could he do with security clearances working for Boeing and for the military
00:25:23.160 on very, very sensitive projects? Yeah, very sensitive projects. And, you know,
00:25:28.760 when you look at this it's being exposed i'm glad by the way for the work the washington free beacon
00:25:34.360 has done yet again another example senator of a major story that has national security implications
00:25:41.080 and the mainstream media just completely looks the other way well they do because they don't
00:25:49.700 want to cover this that they don't want to cover the fact and and and understand that that when
00:25:54.980 Chuck Schumer, when Abdul Al-Sayed had been asked, do they distance themselves from Hassan
00:26:03.380 Piker? They consistently say no, that they want these radicals. Here, give a listen to Ro Khanna,
00:26:09.860 who is the Democrat congressman being asked if Democrats should distance themselves from
00:26:16.380 radical Hassan Piker. You stuck your neck out for progressives like Abdul Al-Sayed. You also
00:26:20.600 supported Plattner before the allegations came out. You've also stuck your neck out for Hassan
00:26:25.240 Piker. And you've seen that Hassan Piker is now being attacked 24-7 on Fox. Here's Haley Stevens
00:26:31.320 going on Fox and saying, well, the first thing, you know, how El Saeed could moderate to voters 0.99
00:26:36.820 is to get rid of the Piker affiliation. You've seen Neera Tanden retweet Laura Loomer's attack 0.95
00:26:42.700 on Hassan Piker. Your comment on Hassan Piker, what should the Democrats do with him? Should
00:26:49.440 they abandon him do you renounce your support of him you tell me ro give it to me straight it's
00:26:55.560 absurd i i mean this these are the same people who were at one point criticizing uh democrats
00:27:00.760 for going on uh joe rogan i mean remember when bernie went on joe rogan the same the people who
00:27:06.120 said oh you can't go on joe rogan these are the same folks who criticized me when i got went on
00:27:10.520 ben shapiro should i not go on ben shapiro's podcast because i disagree with him we had an
00:27:16.380 a horrible argument on the minimum wage.
00:27:18.200 Just because someone is engaging with Hassan Piker, who has strong viewpoints on these
00:27:26.040 issues, doesn't mean that you're endorsing every single one of Hassan Piker's positions.
00:27:31.380 And if you're going to argue that we should exclude left-wing commentators, and frankly,
00:27:40.040 some of these people were arguing that we should be canceling and excluding right-wing
00:27:43.520 commentators. You're left with a party that is basically a status quo party. That's why we lost
00:27:50.040 two elections. But by the way, I love how he's sitting there. He's like, oh, it's no different
00:27:54.800 than me going on Ben Shapiro show. Ben Shapiro is not a radical in the way that you would have
00:28:01.020 to defend Hassan Piker. And yet to compare that to going, oh, I just take a risk on these guys
00:28:06.020 because, you know, I'm not going to agree with everything they say. Well, look at what you're
00:28:09.640 endorsing. It is radical, extreme, and crazy. Well, and look, Ro Khanna was someone who got
00:28:16.420 elected to Congress from Silicon Valley. He was someone who got elected with the support of the
00:28:21.500 tech bros. And his initial brand was kind of a moderate common sense Democrat. And then he looked
00:28:27.340 around the Democrat Party and said, wait a second, nobody wants moderate common sense Democrats. And
00:28:31.640 so he's decided to go hard, hard left. As the beginning of that interview showed, he went up
00:28:37.160 to Maine and embraced Graham Plattner and said, hey, this is great, you know, a Nazi communist, 0.77
00:28:41.360 my kind of guy. And so, you know, you listen to what Kanna said there. He said, well, 0.74
00:28:47.760 just because they're engaging, that was the verb he used, engaging with Hassan Piker. Let's be clear,
00:28:54.320 Al-Sayed is not engaging with Hassan Piker. He's not saying, you know, Hassan, I actually think
00:28:59.120 you're wrong when you say America deserved 9-11. I don't think we deserve to be attacked by
00:29:04.160 Islamist terrorist who murdered nearly 3,000 people, they're not engaging, they're embracing, 0.99
00:29:09.640 they're celebrating, they're adopting, it is who they are. And I will say, you know, 0.98
00:29:14.680 there's the old line that hypocrisy is the tribute that vice pays to virtue.
00:29:20.160 Ro Khanna is rich as hell, and the latest news story said he traded $165 million in trades.
00:29:31.540 He made over 5,000 trades last year.
00:29:35.600 I don't think members of Congress should be buying and selling stock and getting rich. 0.99
00:29:40.040 And this is a great example of the hypocrisy, which is that they embrace Marxism while living as complete and utter hypocrites. 0.94
00:29:47.960 As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you. 0.93
