00:01:42.300 Welcome. It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson.
00:01:45.280 With you, Senator, I can't believe we're saying this.
00:01:46.860 We're barely a week out from Election Day.
00:01:49.740 The midterms are finally here.
00:01:51.780 We've got a lot going on with the midterms, by the way.
00:01:54.380 election day is eight days away i'm on the road non-stop the candidates are on the road non-stop
00:02:00.760 the president is on the road non-stop this is it these are the final eight days before we get into
00:02:06.440 any of that though we do need to stop and and have a moment of silence a moment of silence
00:02:11.860 reflection because their hearts that are heavy their hearts that are sad there are little boys
00:02:18.440 who cried themselves to sleep last night yelling at the ceiling why why why why me god why yeah
00:02:27.760 and and we are joined by one of those little boys who had a sleepless night last night
00:02:33.020 it seemed some very large men from mississippi got on a plane and flew west and came to the
00:02:40.120 mighty austin texas and those mississippi fellas they felt good they were ranked the number seven
00:02:46.500 football team in the country a big big deal number seven and they were playing the measly
00:02:55.080 number 19 ranked longhorns the team that was this should have been two weeks ago yeah keep going my
00:03:01.080 math does right that's that's 12 12 spots lower in the rankings uh-huh and you know julius caesar
00:03:11.740 said winnie witty wiki i came i saw i conquered and old miss they don't really do latin 0.57
00:03:18.860 so instead they did winnie witty i got my ass kicked benjamin i am so so so i can not sorry 0.53
00:03:27.560 yeah yeah i i was hoping we were just going to make it straight through that non-story to the 0.90
00:03:35.160 to the midterms but no no you had to just make sure you gloated a little bit uh i i was a little
00:03:40.960 disappointed i thought for sure i was going to hear it get a text from you at the end of the
00:03:44.620 game and i was like all right i was ready for it i was willing to take my beating and then you said
00:03:48.580 nothing and i was like he's plotting tomorrow mornings he's plotting tomorrow morning that's
00:03:52.580 what you just did that's that's yeah that's i tell you being entirely honest and sincere and
00:03:58.580 i'm trying to reflect uh the pain and to be fair texas i mean we did have the oklahoma game and
00:04:04.580 the florida game so so we have had some pain of our own yes and it's only right that we shared the
00:04:10.280 love congratulations see i can be a i can be a kind sore loser congratulations uh we won a big
00:04:18.020 game and you used to be number one in the nation two weeks ago so we'll see where you land after
00:04:22.200 this so there's you know there's always the upside here that's true we may just switch rankings which
00:04:27.140 would be okay that would be moving in the right direction yeah all right that that being said i'm
00:04:31.420 gonna let's talk politics yeah let's talk politics and in particular i i want to say we got an
00:04:37.280 interesting look in a crystal ball this week because Barack Obama came to the state of Ohio
00:04:43.960 and he came to campaign for Sherrod Brown one of the most liberal senators ever to serve
00:04:49.900 Democrat who was beaten in 2022 but he's running again he's running against John Husted and is a
00:04:55.380 very very close race he's got a real chance of winning I obviously hope Husted wins but but it's
00:05:02.300 close. And Obama gave a lengthy speech. We're going to play a number of excerpts from that
00:05:08.740 speech. The reason I say it's a crystal ball is I believe the speech Barack Obama gave in Ohio
00:05:14.580 is a preview of what the 2028 presidential election will look like. He laid out the themes,
00:05:21.460 he laid out what the Democrats are saying, and it's a real good ability to look into the future.
00:05:28.480 This is what's coming. That's what we're going to dive into this podcast.
00:05:32.300 Yeah, before we get to that audio, though, I do want to talk to you real quick about what is happening, especially since the fall of Roe v. Wade, and it was overturned.
00:05:41.660 Abortion in America, it did not disappear, unfortunately.
00:05:44.960 According to the Guttmacher Institute, approximately 1,006,000 babies have been aborted.
00:05:52.660 That's how many have occurred in America in 2023 alone.
00:05:57.140 Now, that was a nearly 14% increase over 2020. 0.55
00:06:01.480 and an estimated 65% for chemical abortions, which is commonly known today as abortion pills.
00:06:08.760 Now, I want you to think about how much the landscape has actually changed.
00:06:12.540 Roe fell, but abortion did not end.
00:06:15.180 As laws and access have shifted from state to state, abortions have increasingly moved online,
00:06:20.880 with abortion pills marketed as health care and made available through websites,
00:06:25.420 including unregulated sites that allow women to order pills without physician oversight.
00:06:32.200 Americans United for Life knows the fight for human life did not end when Roe was overturned
00:06:37.340 and continues its work through law, policy, education, and advocacy.
00:06:43.300 Now, if you want to support that work, and it's incredibly important,
00:06:47.080 you can make a gift to Americans United for Life today.
00:06:51.280 They need all of our help.
00:06:53.260 It's at aul.org slash verdict.
00:06:56.700 The debate didn't end with Roe.
00:06:58.440 The work continues.
00:06:59.560 So support Americans United for Life at aul.org slash verdict.
00:07:05.040 That's aul.org slash verdict.
00:07:08.860 Senator, let's start.
00:07:10.280 Again, you mentioned this.
00:07:12.100 Barack Obama, this was, you're right, not just a campaign speech.
00:07:16.960 It was a speech of what's coming if Democrats win, what their future they want for this country.
00:07:22.460 And we're going to play a couple different, we'll break in here, but it's important that you hear exactly what he said.
00:07:27.540 Take a listen.
00:07:28.020 So when you go through all this, the tally of promises, things have not worked out the way we might have expected.
00:07:38.880 Although I must say I did expect it.
00:07:43.860 And let's be honest, does anybody really think this guy in the White House right now is spending all that time thinking about these issues?
00:07:52.800 I mean, I don't know if you've noticed, but he seems very focused on home renovations.
00:08:01.800 He should be on HGTV.
00:08:06.800 The guy's building a ballroom that's bigger than the White House.
00:08:11.800 It's paved over the Rose Garden, put a helicopter pad on the south lawn, and there's gold everywhere.
00:08:19.800 What's up with the gold?
00:08:21.800 Everything. More gold. He's got the white ass looking like Saddam Hussein opened a cheesecake factory. Just gold.
00:08:33.800 From meme coins to taxpayer-funded contracts for his kids' companies.
00:08:39.800 And this is someone who has become billions of dollars wealthier in office.
00:08:47.800 And by the way, this is not disputed. I'm not making this up. It's all there.
00:08:53.880 And not a single Republican in Congress has done anything to stop him.
00:09:03.660 Not John Huston, not any of the Republicans on the ballot here in Ohio.
00:09:10.480 Most of them have supported him every step of the way.
00:09:14.480 So you remember that whole thing about drain the swamp?
00:09:17.800 The only thing that got drained was the reflecting pool in the National Mall after some no-bid contract got it all messed up.
00:09:27.840 And then they tried to blame a three-time Olympian and say he vandalized it.
00:09:33.420 Senator, it really is amazing that this is the beginning of their closing argument right now to voters about a week out.
00:09:40.300 Well, yes and no.
00:09:42.300 I would not dismiss what Obama is doing there.
00:09:44.860 I think it's important to remember Obama may be the most effective Democrat politician of our
00:09:51.900 lifetime. It's either Obama or Bill Clinton, and the two of them literally stand head and shoulders
00:09:57.380 above every other Democrat we've ever seen, head and shoulders above Joe Biden, above Kamala Harris,
00:10:02.940 above John Kerry, above Al Gore. Obama's ability to communicate is really powerful. It's really
00:10:11.860 dangerous. To be honest, if we didn't have the 22nd Amendment, it wouldn't surprise me if Obama
00:10:17.420 spent the rest of his life in the White House. The guy is a political force. And he gives you
00:10:25.300 a preview of what to expect, both what to expect January of 2027, but also what to expect in the
00:10:31.940 28 campaign. If the Democrats take one or both houses of Congress, you can expect hearing after
00:10:39.960 hearing after hearing with a central focus on corruption. Corruption being the major theme
00:10:48.100 that the Democrats are going to push. They're going to push corruption targeted at the president.
00:10:53.220 They're going to push corruption targeted at the president's family. They're going to push
00:10:57.260 corruption targeted at the cabinet and the sub-cabinet, everyone working in the administration.
00:11:02.700 And part of their narrative that they're already laying out is they're going to push corruption
00:11:07.060 tied to data centers and tied to cryptocurrency and try to loop all of that into it.
00:11:13.540 By the way, if they succeed on using corruption to shut down all new data center construction,
00:11:20.160 there's about $765 billion of data center construction plans that are scheduled to go
00:11:26.560 into place. If that goes to zero, the economy will immediately go into a recession.
00:11:32.160 that is driving and keeping the economy moving and so if the Democrats succeed in crippling
00:11:38.200 data center construction the economy moves into a recession and the Democrats then blame all of
00:11:44.080 that on Trump because the Democrats are rooting for a recession they want the economy to go
00:11:49.260 really really badly the next two years because they believe if the economy is in terrible shape
00:11:54.580 that sets them up to win in 28 and understand these Democrats they don't care about your life
00:12:00.480 They don't care about whether you have enough money to pay your bills, to feed your kids, to pay your mortgage.
00:12:06.160 They don't care about if you're safe.
00:12:07.780 Remember, when they were in power, they released criminals and illegal aliens every single day.
00:12:13.400 They didn't care about who was murdered by those criminals. 0.97
00:12:15.840 They didn't care about the women who were raped.
00:12:17.580 They didn't care about the children who were assaulted.
00:12:19.800 And by the way, I say they didn't care.
00:12:21.380 That sounds a little harsh.
00:12:23.660 But we had hearing after hearing where I would bring up the names of the women raped,
00:12:27.700 of the children assaulted, of the women murdered.
00:12:30.480 And not a single Democrat would even acknowledge they exist.
00:12:33.920 They wouldn't say their names.
00:12:35.080 We had one where the parents of one woman who was murdered were there in the hearing room.
00:12:41.480 And Dick Durbin, who is the senator of Illinois where it happened, would not even acknowledge the grieving parents.
00:12:48.880 So they don't care.
00:12:50.520 It does not matter to them.
00:12:51.900 What matters to them is power.
00:12:54.940 That is going to be one of the major themes.
00:12:57.160 And look, what Obama does in this segment, the specific building projects that Trump is doing, I think are highly defensible and on the merits, very useful.
00:13:11.300 If you look at the ballroom, the ballroom, much of it is under construction.
00:13:15.460 I think every president for hundreds of years is going to thank Donald Trump for building that ballroom.
00:13:20.880 Right now, the White House does not have a meeting place for a large gathering.
00:13:26.240 The largest gathering you can have in the White House for a seated dinner, for a state dinner, is the East Room.
00:13:31.800 It's about 160 people.
00:13:34.640 You can't have a gathering larger than that.
00:13:37.640 Now, look, there are a lot of official events.
00:13:38.800 By the way, let's just help you explain when you say this.
00:13:41.200 If you've ever been to, like, a rehearsal dinner where it was packed and it felt like the room was too small,
00:13:45.760 that's how that room feels for almost every presidential event, whether it's Obama in there, Biden in there, Clinton in there, Bush in there.
00:13:52.120 It doesn't matter.
00:13:52.620 Like, it feels crammed.
00:13:54.000 You've been to several of these.
00:13:55.080 I have as well.
00:13:55.980 i mean it is tight yeah and look 160 people i think a wedding rehearsal is a good example when
00:14:02.380 when heidi and i got married we had about 300 people at our wedding we didn't have a particularly
00:14:06.940 lavish wedding but but it was you know she invited her friends and family i invited my friends and
00:14:11.960 family at about 300 people there are a lot of events uh in politics and life that are much
00:14:18.840 bigger than 160 people and and the new building uh the new ballroom that's being built will see
00:14:24.740 about about a thousand people that means you can do a large event that means a state dinner head
00:14:29.200 of state is in you can invite a lot of people who who need to be at that dinner who would be
00:14:34.460 valuable to have those interactions and and actually trump in all likelihood will never
00:14:40.100 get to use the ballroom it's going to be completed the end of 2028 he may get one dinner in there on
00:14:45.820 his way out the door but he's literally building this for his successors because the construction
00:14:51.320 is going to take the entirety of his presidency. I'll say also there is a massive security element
00:14:57.540 to the ballroom. The ballroom goes very, very deep. Much of the building was digging this hole
00:15:02.460 that goes way down. So they put a hospital down there. They put secure rooms. They put
00:15:07.480 Secret Service has all sorts of rooms with weapons in it and secure locations. In the event of a
00:15:13.360 military conflict, you've got to be able to get the president somewhere safe, somewhere he can
00:15:17.720 survive a nuclear attack somewhere if he's injured, that he can be treated without having
00:15:21.960 to leave the compound. The Secret Service was thrilled to be able to build it right,
00:15:27.680 to be able to build a real secure facility that will protect future presidents. And again,
00:15:34.320 let me underscore, almost none of that's going to benefit Trump. It'll be finished right when
00:15:39.400 he leaves the White House. So it's the next presidents that will have the much more secure
00:15:43.740 location they're building the roof of the ballroom with extensive anti-drone technology
00:15:48.280 it's not complicated that the world of warfare drones are a critical part of it and and i believe
00:15:54.280 we are in an era where we are going to see drone assassinations that that is one of the next steps
00:16:01.320 of political violence is people using drones to assassinate someone they dislike and and the
00:16:08.180 white house sees that as well which is why they're putting anti-drone technology on the ballroom to
00:16:12.680 protect the president to protect members of the cabinet members of congress and anyone
00:16:16.080 other foreign heads of state that are there meeting with the president i think it is on the merits
00:16:21.500 an entirely good renovation likewise the rose garden i was sort of joking with the president
00:16:28.900 the phrase paved over the rose garden sounds really kind of harsh and jarring like wow
00:16:33.660 why would you do that it is not actually accurate so so the roses are still there
00:16:39.040 there's still a rose garden the difference is in the middle of the rose garden there used to be
00:16:43.920 grass and the grass when it rained would turn into mud and so you'd do an event in the rose garden 1.00
00:16:49.900 and everyone's shoes would stick in the mud women who were wearing high heels would like
00:16:54.220 really stick in the mud the the the grass would get all ripped up what the president did is he
00:17:00.880 basically made it a patio which is he he put marvel pavers down there into a patio the roses
00:17:06.100 are still there surrounding it so the roses haven't changed what's changed now is it's a
00:17:12.180 really good place to hold an outdoor event where where the the the marble on it works well i've
00:17:19.280 done multiple events in the rose garden and it is objectively better likewise with the helipad now
00:17:26.280 as as you know as we talked about on the podcast i got i got for the first time to ride on marine
00:17:30.680 one i'd never done that before i was really excited about doing it you know we've all seen
00:17:35.340 the images on tv of of the president often the president the first lady walking through the south
00:17:40.560 lawn to marine one that's just walking across grass is what it's been historical and the president
00:17:46.960 said the same problem was when it rained your shoes were covered in mud if the first lady was
00:17:51.880 wearing high heels it was a real problem they'd get stuck in the mud um you know think about it 1.00
00:17:57.420 ben at our houses you know our wives don't walk in the backyard in high heels like that they just 0.90
00:18:03.480 yell at you if you wanted wanted them to do that you couldn't get you couldn't get to the helicopter 1.00
00:18:08.520 without walking through the mud and also that that there is a new marine one that is a bigger
00:18:15.820 and more powerful helicopter and the problem was when it landed on the south lawn the the down
00:18:22.040 draft from the blades was so strong that it was just tearing the grass up permanently it like the
00:18:26.820 grass was not strong enough to take that much wind and so the helipad that the president built
00:18:33.460 it's a beautiful helipad it has the seal of the president of the united states and he also built
00:18:38.600 a pathway so now you can walk on a pathway and not have to walk through the mud to get to the
00:18:44.240 helicopter that too all three of these will be used and appreciated by future presidents
00:18:50.660 that being said it's worth understanding what what obama is doing and he's doing it very
00:18:56.440 effectively the real message here is he doesn't care about us that that he's doing home renovations
00:19:03.800 he's doing doing these projects that are vanity projects that's what obama's arguing because your
00:19:10.480 life doesn't matter to him now the democrats are very good at at engaging in freudian projection
00:19:17.480 which is what they are doing they accuse you of doing in this instance we talked about how the
00:19:24.340 democrats don't care if we go in a recession they want a recession they don't care if innocent
00:19:29.040 americans are killed by illegal immigrants they release they do it anyway not caring is is and
00:19:35.560 putting power above everything is how the democrats operate but what obama's doing very
00:19:40.200 effectively and we're going to hear this for the next two years is blaming trump for not caring
00:19:47.500 about americans and putting himself first that's a really strong preview of what's to come yeah
00:19:52.180 All right, real quick, let me just take a moment.
00:19:54.300 I want to talk to you not only about the midterms,
00:19:56.300 but also how you can have a difference every day.
00:19:59.080 The stakes, we all know they couldn't be higher.
00:20:01.100 We have a president and administration fighting hard for America first.
00:20:04.620 But if we as conservatives lose focus, well, then we know what happens.
00:20:08.700 The radical left is waiting to resume their destructive, progressive agendas.
00:20:13.020 Now, protecting this momentum, it takes more than votes.
00:20:15.300 It takes every American like you staying in the fight for our rights and our freedoms.
00:20:19.420 And that is why I switched to Patriot Mobile.
00:20:23.480 Not only are they America's only Christian conservative wireless provider, but Patriot Mobile gives me what I need.
00:20:29.720 Premium priority nationwide service on all three major networks.
00:20:33.200 I get unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming.
00:20:36.900 I've used my phone literally right there in Gaza.
00:20:39.340 Like, not a joke.
00:20:40.580 That is how good their coverage is.
00:20:42.100 They also have a 100% U.S.-based customer support team.
00:20:45.680 So switching is easy.
00:20:47.060 I can keep my same phone, keep my same number.
00:20:49.420 And this is where the magic happens.
00:20:51.500 When you pay your bill, Patriot Money puts your money towards causes defending our faith,
00:20:57.020 our families, and our freedom.
00:20:58.680 They contribute millions of dollars each year to organizations on the front lines fighting
00:21:03.320 for our God-given rights.
00:21:04.920 Now, Patriot Mobile isn't just talking about saving America.
00:21:07.760 They're putting their business behind the fight every day.
00:21:10.520 So why not switch a bill that you know you're going to have and make a difference?
00:21:15.360 PatriotMobile.com slash verdict or 972 Patriot.
00:21:19.220 Use the promo code VERDICT for a free month of service.
00:21:22.100 That's PatriotMobile.com slash VERDICT or call 972-PATRIOT, and you can make that switch right now.
00:21:28.540 All right, let me play part two of this, as you were mentioning, Senator,
00:21:31.780 because this is where he gets into a lot of the really intense rhetoric.
00:21:35.820 Take a listen.
00:21:36.300 The original rationale was we're going to go in there and get them to give up their nuclear program, their nuclear weapons.
00:21:44.360 Now, the thing was, Iran didn't have nuclear weapons.
00:21:48.840 Because I had put a deal in place that everybody acknowledged, kept them from getting nukes, and I didn't have to fire a missile to do it, I just had to engage in diplomacy.
00:22:02.240 He pulled out of it, starts this war, seven months later, six months after they declared 0.71
00:22:15.100 victory, because remember, they said, well, this is the best war ever.
00:22:20.720 It's going great.
00:22:23.000 So seven months later, how's that war going?
00:22:26.780 Our allies and our bases have been attacked.
00:22:30.280 Americans have been killed hundreds of Americans have been wounded we have run 0.55
00:22:38.900 down our stock of missiles and Iran now has veto power over the Strait of Hormuz
00:22:47.960 where oil goes through to the world market this is the reason why the price
00:22:54.880 of oil is up nobody disputes that this is the reason the price of diesel is up this is the
00:23:04.640 reason why the price of just about everything is up meanwhile yeah you got the defense secretary
00:23:14.400 who's who's squarely focused wait wait don't move wait wait wait no no no he's very focused on
00:23:23.120 important matters like the jawlines and testosterone levels of our troops, and live streaming executions,
00:23:33.620 because that's how he thinks you cultivate that manly warrior spirit.
00:23:41.560 How much time do you think this Defense Secretary spends looking at himself in the mirror in
00:23:47.880 the morning?
00:23:48.880 I mean, you know he's working his hair because that's how warriors look.
00:23:57.520 These are not serious people.
00:23:59.580 Yes, we need to end this war.
00:24:00.740 If we don't return to some of those old-fashioned virtues,
00:24:04.420 if our fundamental attitude to each other is to try and hurt other people.
00:24:12.340 Senator, can we just go back in history and remind people about the pallets of cash
00:24:17.240 that were sent by these, quote, serious people in the Democratic Party 0.92
00:24:21.880 to appease the Iranian regime that chanced death to America 0.82
00:24:25.000 that was clearly trying to get a nuclear weapon 0.87
00:24:27.480 who says they want to annihilate Israel, wipe them off the map.
00:24:30.700 Because that's his definition of a serious person who takes pallets of cash
00:24:34.440 and sends it to them saying, please don't do that, here's money.
00:24:38.120 I'm sorry, Ben, you're doing something that is not permissible
00:24:40.780 with a Barack Obama speech, which is you're actually bringing facts and substance.
00:24:46.660 we can't have that this is this is political oratory this is rhetoric uh this is partisan
00:24:52.060 lies um you are of course exactly right uh and and this is a good example a of how obama has
00:24:58.520 always done it but but b where the democrats are going to go the next two years which is number
00:25:03.780 one just flat out lie so his lie is that iran did not have nuclear weapons and it wasn't going to
00:25:11.580 get nuclear weapons because the Obama-Iran nuclear deal was going to prevent them from
00:25:17.280 getting nuclear weapons. That is an absolute lie. Now, it's a lie that begins by minimizing,
00:25:24.820 by ignoring the threat that Iran poses. You notice nowhere in Obama's speech was there any 0.69
00:25:30.920 acknowledgement of the Ayatollah routinely leading mobs of thousands upon thousands of people
00:25:37.120 chanting death to America. Nowhere was any acknowledgement that the Ayatollah and the 0.65
00:25:43.340 Islamic regime in Iran was responsible for murdering nearly a thousand Americans,
00:25:48.880 mostly servicemen and women, that they have killed year after year after year. Nowhere was 0.90
00:25:53.460 there any acknowledgement that Iran is the lead state sponsor of terrorism on the globe,
00:25:58.920 the lead funder of Hamas and Hezbollah, and that they have been actively waging war with
00:26:04.480 Americans trying to kill us. Nowhere was there any acknowledgement that Iran has invested
00:26:08.280 billions of dollars into developing not just nuclear weapons, but developing ICBMs. Now an
00:26:14.660 ICBM, ICBM stands for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile. You don't need an ICBM to get to Israel.
00:26:21.700 An ordinary ballistic missile will go from Iran to Israel. You need an ICBM
00:26:26.080 to take a nuclear weapon from Iran to the United States. 100% of the purpose of their ICBM program 0.98
00:26:33.320 is to be able to deliver a nuclear warhead and detonate a nuclear warhead in the United States,
00:26:40.900 most likely New York or D.C. or Los Angeles, or for that matter where you and I live, Houston.
00:26:47.720 All of those are cities Iran could target, and any one of which a nuclear weapon detonated above
00:26:53.840 those cities could kill millions of Americans in a flash of an eye. None of that is acknowledged.
00:27:00.740 The Obama-Iran nuclear deal was designed, inevitably, to allow Iran to get nuclear weapons.
00:27:10.780 Barack Obama believes it is perfectly fine for the Ayatollah to have nuclear weapons. 0.60
00:27:16.400 He believes it is unfair, it is colonialist of America, to try to stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons.
00:27:23.680 On the terms of the deal, the terms of the deal carved out major sections of Iran that were not subject to inspections.
00:27:29.880 anything that iran designated as a quote sensitive military facility was exempted from inspections
00:27:37.760 well guess where they were doing all their nuclear weapons research in sensitive military facilities
00:27:43.160 even the non-sensitive facilities uh the deal that that obama signed contemplated iran inspecting
00:27:53.020 itself iran sending its own inspectors to go in it's a little bit like you know if you're uh if
00:27:58.760 you're in the movie Scarface uh the the police calling up Tony Montana going hey Tony you have
00:28:04.360 any drugs no man no man I got no drugs I got no drugs at all nothing at all okay Tony thank you 0.95
00:28:10.300 thank you I appreciate that all right fully inspected that was basically the Obama Iran
00:28:16.900 nuclear deal call the Ayatollah ask if he has nukes if he says no trust him and finally
00:28:23.540 with the weakest strictures possible even those strictures under the Obama deal all went away in
00:28:32.280 15 years the entire deal sunsetted in 15 years which means in 15 years Obama was saying then
00:28:39.320 you could most definitely develop a nuclear weapon completely free of sanctions you can
00:28:43.080 build it in the open and we will say nothing and do nothing to stop you it was a disastrous deal
00:28:48.740 the single most important decision President Trump made in his first term was to rip up
00:28:57.560 the disastrous Iran nuclear deal. That made America much, much safer. That was a decision 0.85
00:29:05.440 I very vigorously urged the president to do. He agreed with me and he did that.
00:29:11.040 This also illustrates how Obama and the Democrats are going to combine their lies
00:29:15.540 about Iran minimizing the threat, claiming falsely that the Obama deal had any threat
00:29:21.480 neutralized. They're going to use it, though, to connect it to every bit, 100% of the economic 0.57
00:29:29.680 pressure, the very real economic pressure people are feeling. Look, inflation is real. And inflation
00:29:35.120 is real because we had four years of Joe Biden where inflation was out of control. Now, inflation
00:29:40.920 has dropped dramatically. It is much more manageable now than it was under the Biden
00:29:45.280 administration, but that doesn't mean prices have gotten cheaper. Under Biden, they rose massively.
00:29:51.460 They're now rising more slowly, but they're rising from the higher base of four years of
00:29:56.560 Biden inflation baked in. And this is the Democrats' entire strategy. They're trying to say
00:30:01.320 everything you pay more for. Yes, gasoline at the pump. Yes, diesel. Yes, jet fuel. But also, yes,
00:30:08.340 food yes homes everything they are going to blame on president trump and the iran war this is a real
00:30:16.700 foreshadowing of a hundred thousand tv commercials that are coming of hearing and hearing and hearing
00:30:24.100 and candidate after candidate after candidate all of whom are going to echo barack obama's
00:30:28.900 messaging right here yeah listen by the way to his closing statement what he said
00:30:33.700 If our fundamental attitude to each other is to try and hurt other people so they don't
00:30:42.760 hurt us first, if we're driven by fear instead of by hope, if we think it's okay to snatch
00:30:48.940 children from parents or cut programs for the aged or the infirm so the powerful can
00:30:54.180 get whatever they want, we will continue to fester in anger and division, and I don't
00:31:01.180 know about you, but I'm tired of being angry. And I'm tired of being divided. I want to,
00:31:07.420 I want to, I want to reach out and shake my neighbor's hand. I want to get to work doing
00:31:15.760 something for somebody else. We didn't get into this moment overnight. We won't get
00:31:24.360 out of it overnight. And none of us should pretend that any single person in any single
00:31:30.740 office is somehow going to save the day for us, and that the rest of us can just go back
00:31:35.820 to acting the same way.
00:31:38.620 We're going to have to all make some changes, but Ohio, here's what I know.
00:31:45.500 This election can be a start.
00:31:48.040 This election can be an inflection point.
00:31:50.680 This election can be a course correction in America's long journey toward a more perfect
00:31:56.140 union.
00:31:57.140 because if we're willing to turn out in big numbers here in Ohio and across the
00:32:03.020 country if we're willing to vote for change and vote for Democrats up and
00:32:07.700 down the ballot then this election might just mark the moment this country began
00:32:14.300 moving in a better direction when we leave our worst impulses behind and
00:32:20.840 start aligning our politics with our highest ideals Ohio you and I have
00:32:26.280 proved before that it is hard to stop a change whose time has come in 10 days you have a chance
00:32:36.360 to do it again so i'm asking you are you fired up are you ready to go let's make amy acting governor
00:32:47.080 let's make sheriff brown senator let's get on the path to making america better thank you i love you
00:32:54.360 By the way, I love how he fires them up at the end.
00:32:58.500 He says, let's make America better instead of make America great.
00:33:01.920 That kind of made me laugh.
00:33:03.960 Well, look, that entire closing reminds you of the power of Barack Obama.
00:33:10.100 You know, part three of this speech was 100% hope and change.
00:33:14.840 Yeah.
00:33:15.220 And don't underestimate hope and change.
00:33:17.660 This guy is the best P.T. Barnum, sell one thing and deliver another that I think politics has ever produced.
00:33:28.300 He's very good at the hope he changey stuff.
00:33:31.020 Like, I'm inspired.
00:33:32.740 I'm tired of being angry.
00:33:34.200 I want to reach over and shake the hand of my neighbor.
00:33:37.220 Like, that's good stuff.
00:33:38.800 Now, mind you, it's an absolute lie.
00:33:42.140 Barack Obama doesn't want to shake anyone's hands.
00:33:43.760 yeah look when he was president i was in the senate when he was president 0.79
00:33:47.840 he is so arrogant and aloof it actually limited his effectiveness because he could not be bothered
00:33:55.620 to talk to senators or house members or really anybody that everyone was beneath him and and 0.93
00:34:01.420 democrat senators would complain about this like when obama was president he wouldn't talk to them
00:34:05.360 it wasn't a partisan thing he just thought that like he was from a higher plane and and all the
00:34:11.160 rest of us were were subjects that he was there to rule I mean he really did think he was King
00:34:16.240 Barack and in terms of you know he wants to to shake the hand of his neighbor well you know
00:34:22.700 interestingly enough he had an opportunity to do that he had an opportunity to shake the hand of
00:34:26.180 his neighbor during the Joe Biden presidency and that was when you'll recall I suggested actually
00:34:32.620 filed legislation to change the port of entry for illegal immigrants to Martha's Vineyard and
00:34:39.860 Nantucket and the Hamptons and all of and Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, which is where where
00:34:46.740 Biden vacationed. And and if they were going to allow 12 million illegal immigrants to invade 0.94
00:34:53.360 our nation, they should actually have to see those illegal immigrants that they're inviting
00:34:57.780 to our country and care for them. And you'll recall Ron DeSantis in Florida implemented the
00:35:03.300 idea that I had proposed and he put together a plane full of illegal immigrants and he flew them 0.99
00:35:09.700 to Martha's Vineyard and at the time I had filed my legislation the the county executive at Martha's
00:35:16.560 Vineyard the equivalent of the mayor had had put out a public statement and he blasted me for filing
00:35:22.720 this legislation he said Cruz doesn't understand he doesn't understand immigration and he said if 0.90
00:35:29.680 illegal immigrants came to Martha's Vineyard we would welcome them here well they did come because
00:35:37.820 as Ron DeSantis sent him. And what happened? Within 24 hours, that very same county executive
00:35:43.620 declared an emergency. And within 72 hours, they had forcibly removed every single one of the
00:35:50.980 illegal immigrants from Martha's Vineyard. Understand, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama
00:35:55.220 have a palatial mansion in Martha's Vineyard. Did Barack Obama reach out and shake the hand
00:36:05.500 of his neighbor did he say hey these illegals I've got you know 57 rooms or I don't know how
00:36:11.120 many rooms he has I've got a lot of rooms in my mansion why don't we set up some cots and put 1.00
00:36:15.800 some of these these illegals in in in my house no no no no Obama didn't say a word he didn't want 1.00
00:36:21.340 to shake their hand he just sat there while they declared an emergency and removed them because 0.97
00:36:25.900 look if you're a rich liberal you've got chardonnay to sip you've got cheese to to poke with your
00:36:33.340 little uh toothpick and and and you cannot be bothered to get around the dirty masses you know
00:36:40.660 you have instead what you do is you dupe the masses instead you do what obama does which is
00:36:47.880 you lie to them you say listen we've got to be nice we've got to be kind we've got to be loving
00:36:54.560 and that would be more effective if we didn't have eight years of obama's presidency because
00:37:00.860 during that presidency he wasn't kind he wasn't loving he was hateful he hated his opposition he
00:37:07.580 demonized his opposition he went after them viciously but he's very good at selling it as
00:37:14.000 something that it's not and so i want all of y'all just to reflect this podcast is the crystal ball
00:37:20.620 podcast it is telling you exactly what to expect in all of 2027 and all of 2028 this is where
00:37:30.840 the Democrats are going, and we need to be ready to counter it. All right, I want to take a moment
00:37:37.200 and talk to you real quick about Election Day. Between work, errands, and family, we're all busy.
00:37:41.740 We know that, right? But with this election around the corner, it can be hard to find time to vote.
00:37:46.500 Waiting until Election Day is a major risk. A flat tire or a sick child can mean you miss out
00:37:50.780 on making your voice heard. And that's why I need you to vote early. Go to gopvotes.org

00:38:16.900 That's why you need a plan to vote, too.
00:38:19.780 President Trump is counting on you.
00:38:21.280 Our movement's counting on you.
00:38:22.500 I'm counting on you as well.
00:38:23.760 So don't wait.
