Verdict with Ted Cruz - Trump & Cruz at Turning Point on the Incredible Mandate from the Election, plus Biden Considering Pardoning Every Murderer on Federal Death Row

00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.

00:00:02.700 Guaranteed human.

00:00:05.460 Welcome.

00:00:06.060 It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.

00:00:09.040 And this is one of those fun shows where many of you are going to be listening on your way

00:00:13.920 to go visit family all over the country.

00:00:16.120 I was in an airport today.

00:00:17.220 It was insane.

00:00:18.620 Senator, you were in an airport today.

00:00:20.100 It was also, I'm sure, insane with the holiday travel.

00:00:23.040 So we will try to have a little bit of fun today and also give you some of the big news,

00:00:27.340 which includes you hanging out with Donald Trump today.

00:00:31.020 Not a bad day because it is, by the way, as we're recording this, I have four more minutes to say this.

00:00:36.700 Your birthday.

00:00:38.000 Happy birthday, sir.

00:00:39.780 Well, thank you.

00:00:40.700 I'm 54 years old today and it is 1156 p.m.

00:00:44.400 So I will be, it'll be my birthday for just four more minutes.

00:00:48.020 But I wanted to get that in there.

00:00:50.060 And can we just say the age again?

00:00:51.420 Because that's important to me.

00:00:53.140 54.

00:00:53.580 And I will say a good friend of mine texted me and said I look great for 65, which I appreciated

00:01:00.580 very much.

00:01:01.280 I will say there may have been some expletives in response to that.

00:01:04.520 Yes, as there should be.

00:01:06.100 As there should be.

00:01:07.680 So at 54, do you have any wisdom you'd like to bestow on everyone listening right now?

00:01:11.960 Because, I mean, let's be honest.

00:01:13.400 That's like a long time to be on this earth.

00:01:15.420 Apparently, I think I have enough wisdom that I do a podcast three days a week.

00:01:18.580 So I'm at least happy to prattle on about what's going on three times a week.

00:01:24.060 Whether it's wise or not, I leave that to our incredible verdict listeners.

00:01:28.540 But I make no promises.

00:01:30.600 Well played.

00:01:31.060 He's still feisty at 54.

00:01:32.800 I love it.

00:01:33.820 So you hung out with Trump today.

00:01:36.560 That's not a bad birthday.

00:01:38.140 Yeah.

00:01:38.340 So I started the day I was in Phoenix and I was at America Fest, Turning Point's big rally there.

00:01:44.640 And it was incredible.

00:01:45.480 3,000 plus people, young people, mostly college kids, energized.

00:01:50.440 They were incredible.

00:01:51.440 And so I started the day, gave a speech to Turning Point, which actually we're going to end the podcast

00:01:57.220 with your hearing what I had to say.

00:01:59.640 But then after I gave my speech, two speakers after me was Donald Trump.

00:02:03.560 And so I caught up with the president backstage and then he went he went on stage and and gave gave very concise hour and a half remarks,

00:02:13.460 which we will not play the full hour and a half remarks, although they were actually they were fun.

00:02:18.760 I got to say President Trump was in a great mood.

00:02:21.140 He was happy.

00:02:21.900 He was loose.

00:02:22.660 He was cutting jokes.

00:02:23.640 He was feeling really good.

00:02:25.100 So we are going to play an exchange because while he was standing on stage, he decided to call me up to say something.

00:02:32.600 And the problem was I was backstage and didn't know he was going to do it.

00:02:35.280 So he starts calling me up and I'm like, what, what, what?

00:02:37.480 And so I kind of run from backstage.

00:02:39.440 But there's an amusing back and forth where he's looking around going, where the hell's Ted?

00:02:43.980 And since I didn't know he was going to do that, I was way backstage.

00:02:47.240 I'm really glad I wasn't in the men's room when he did that.

00:02:49.600 But but we're going to play that exchange where he called me up.

00:02:51.900 And by the way, let's just be clear.

00:02:53.540 You love doing that, too.

00:02:55.220 I have witnessed you do that.

00:02:57.020 And it's such a fun thing when you're up there and you know you can call somebody out.

00:03:01.380 And if they're not paying attention, you get to roast them.

00:03:05.080 And if they are paying attention and I've I've been at the butt of that once or twice so far in my time hanging around you.

00:03:14.120 And you relish the moment just as much as Donald Trump does.

00:03:19.340 Undoubtedly.

00:03:20.180 And more will come.

00:03:21.220 We're also going to talk about the fact that Joe Biden is talking about commuting every single murderer on federal death row.

00:03:28.880 And this is something, sadly, that that verdict predicted a year ago.

00:03:32.960 So we're going to walk through what the news is and what we predicted.

00:03:36.000 But it is an incredible abomination of justice if Biden goes through with this.

00:03:41.520 And then we're going to talk about the fact that SNL, SNL talked about the murderer who murdered the health care CEO.

00:03:48.760 And the crowd cheered for the murderer and just exactly what that means.

00:03:53.680 And then finally, as I said, we're going to give you my remarks to Turning Point.

00:03:58.160 Three thousand people.

00:03:59.400 It was energized.

00:04:01.200 It was an incredible day.

00:04:02.700 And I got to say, the young men and women at Turning Point really do inspire me because they are working, they are passionate, they are fighting, they are turning this country around.

00:04:13.440 And I think the victory we saw in November is in significant part due to their hard work and the hard work of millions across the country.

00:04:21.180 Yeah, no doubt about it.

00:04:22.380 We are just a couple of days away from Christmas.

00:04:25.720 And if you're looking for a last minute gift to, you know, kind of save yourself because maybe you got behind.

00:06:25.880 All right, so let's paint the stage here for everybody that may not have seen your comments at Turning Point.

00:06:33.000 Because when Donald Trump went up on stage, there was a really funny moment.

00:06:37.260 You mentioned in the intro there.

00:06:38.880 And that was you being backstage.

00:06:41.040 And then what was funny was is people start putting on social media as Senator Cruz sneaking up on Trump on stage, which made me laugh because he was looking for you.

00:06:50.240 And I'm glad that the Secret Service didn't, you know, like tackle you or anything.

00:06:53.340 But this is what Donald Trump had to say when he was looking for you.

00:06:57.960 It was hilarious.

00:06:59.540 Pleased to be joined by a man who just also, we really did well in Texas.

00:07:04.700 And I heard Ted's speech.

00:07:06.800 And he can come up and speak more if he wants or he can just, you know, Ted's going to be going to a big event in a little while.

00:07:13.500 Where's Ted Cruz?

00:07:14.320 Is he here?

00:07:15.380 He's here someplace, Ted?

00:07:18.220 Ted?

00:07:18.660 Oh, oh, oh, he's in trouble.

00:07:29.140 He's in trouble.

00:07:31.940 By the way, the cheering right there as I'm walking out behind him.

00:07:34.880 He was here.

00:07:35.700 Oh, oh, good.

00:07:43.300 He's not in trouble.

00:07:48.660 Keep Texas, Texas.

00:07:51.180 Amen.

00:07:55.220 And I've got to say this election has given President Donald J. Trump, a Republican Senate and a Republican House, a clear mandate to deliver on our promises.

00:08:07.720 One month from today, President Trump will secure the border.

00:08:22.420 We are going to bring back jobs.

00:08:24.480 We are going to lower prices.

00:08:26.240 We are going to protect American families.

00:08:28.760 We are going to put criminals in jail.

00:08:30.800 We are going to keep our kids safe.

00:08:33.240 We are going to end foreign wars with victory. 0.55

00:08:43.160 And I'll tell you, Mr. President, the results of this election, seven battleground states, you won all seven.

00:08:49.980 The people elected a Republican Senate and a Republican House to have your back, and we are going to deliver results.

00:09:00.480 And if I can speak parochially for a minute, one of the most consequential things that happened in this race, in Texas, you won profoundly in Texas, and both you and I won a majority of Hispanic votes in the great state of Texas.

00:09:23.440 That is unprecedented, that is generational change, and it demonstrates that we are going to protect our nation, we are going to bring our country back, and we are going to make America great again.

00:09:43.080 He's a great, he's actually a great guy, was, was really out there working, oh, I'm so glad he was here.

00:10:00.780 Oh, that was, that was an amazing moment.

00:10:07.780 I got to tell you, I love just the end there.

00:10:13.300 He's smiling, he's grinning, the demeanor and the interaction is just seems to be very different this time than it compared to 2016. 0.98

00:10:23.180 It's like you guys are on the same football team going into the playoffs as a team, and let's whoop some ass.

00:10:29.980 Well, I think that's exactly right, and I got to say, at the entire AmericaFest, Trump was happy, he was relaxed, he was feeling good, you could see it in a way that just, he was loose and having fun. 0.60

00:10:46.420 And listen, we're coming in with an incredible mandate, we're going to transform, I believe, the country, and I think he's ready to get to work, and I know I am, and I think all of us are.

00:10:59.980 So let's talk about his agenda for a second.

00:11:03.580 One of the things you talked about was the border.

00:11:05.660 That seems to be a very central point of what he keeps talking about over and over again.

00:11:11.040 And is that something that you and him have talked about very clearly, like, hey, this is square, this is step one, let's go, we're going to knock this out day one?

00:11:21.060 Absolutely, and the clearest single mandate of this election is to secure the border.

00:11:27.760 People are fed up with Joe Biden and the Democrats' open borders, they want it to end, they want the border secured, and we're going to get that done.

00:11:35.200 And Trump understands that, I think Republicans in the Senate understand that, Republicans in the House understand that, and we're going to get it done, which is exactly what the voters sent us there to do.

00:11:47.180 Canadian women are looking for more, more out of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them. 0.98

00:11:54.220 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.

00:11:57.860 I'm Jennifer Stewart.

00:11:59.120 And I'm Catherine Clark.

00:12:00.360 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women.

00:12:04.120 Entrepreneurs, artists, athletes, politicians, and newsmakers, all at different stages of their journey.

00:12:09.860 So if you're looking to connect, then we hope you'll join us.

00:12:12.840 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.

00:12:18.820 I want to move to this other topic that's a big one, and that deals, and we're going to obviously get to your turning point speech in just a little bit, and that'll be certainly a part of this in a moment.

00:12:28.220 But I want to turn to another unfortunate, I say, prediction is about to come true, and the news continues to break.

00:12:36.500 And I think it's fair to say to the audience listening right now, brace yourself, because while you're spending time with your family and your friends over Christmas and New Year's, Joe Biden and the White House are going to be handing out some unbelievable pardons and clemency.

00:12:55.100 And Biden is apparently granting clemency to people on federal death row, yet again, saying, we don't care about justice for the victims.

00:13:06.460 We are going to start pushing this political ideology.

00:13:11.240 Well, that's exactly right.

00:13:12.700 And it is, you know, sadly, you could say, who could have predicted this?

00:13:16.860 But the reality is, you and I predicted this, we predicted this over a year ago, that Joe Biden was going to take federal death row and empty it, and use his executive power.

00:13:29.840 Now, listen, the Constitution gives him the power to grant pardons, gives him the power to grant clemency, with pretty much no limits.

00:13:36.940 It's essentially an unlimited power.

00:13:38.680 That being said, we've never had a president use that pardon power.

00:13:43.720 We've already seen him use the pardon power to give his son a get out of jail free card for all of his illegal conduct.

00:13:50.780 And we've talked about how I believe he's going to grant many more pardons to members of the Biden family, to Democrats, to those who have engaged in illegality.

00:14:00.940 But while he's engaged in this business, he's also going to seek, I believe, I think there's a very real risk, he's going to seek to nullify federal law.

00:14:08.940 Federal law passed by Congress, signed by the president, provides for the death penalty, the death penalty for the most egregious crimes.

00:14:17.640 That includes the Boston bomber that murdered people at the Boston Marathon.

00:14:22.260 And I think we are, we are perilously close to Joe Biden emptying federal death row.

00:14:30.500 So Politico reported this week, quote, President Joe Biden is promising to flex his clemency powers again before he leaves office next month,

00:14:40.280 booing hopes of capital punish opponents that he'll take a big step towards making good on his campaign promise to end the federal death penalty.

00:14:47.660 Biden could use his authority to grant commutations to convert existing federal death sentences into life in prison.

00:14:55.380 That would deal a serious blow to Trump's plans to bring back and even broaden the use of the death penalty when he returns to power.

00:15:02.700 The Justice Department has quietly recommended that Biden grant commutations to most of the 40 people on death row,

00:15:11.220 according to a person familiar with the discussions not authorized to discuss them publicly.

00:15:15.660 Meanwhile, the Justice Department is also on the verge of publishing the findings of a long-running internal review of the lethal injection protocol that the Trump administration adopted in 2019.

00:15:26.980 That protocol uses a fatal dose of a single sedative drug, pentobarbital, to put prisoners to death.

00:15:33.520 Many experts and critics of the death penalty have said the method, adopted due to shortages of other drugs used in executions,

00:15:39.700 can cause extreme pain during a prisoner's final minutes.

00:15:42.660 And anti-death penalty activists say the DOJ's forthcoming report may bolster the case for clemency.

00:15:49.440 Quote,

00:15:50.460 We hope the review will find that the problems with lethal injection are one additional reason as to why President Biden should grant clemency to death row prisoners,

00:15:59.380 said Ruth Friedman, who oversees death penalty work for the federal defenders nationwide.

00:16:03.440 This is, if he does this, it is absolutely outrageous, because as I said, it is federal law.

00:16:10.020 If he doesn't like federal law, propose a change to federal law, propose taking the death penalty off the books.

00:16:15.000 But he doesn't have the votes to do that. Congress is not going to do that.

00:16:17.820 And so he simply wants to lawlessly say, give me the very worst murderers,

00:16:22.500 give me the Boston Marathon bomber, and I'm going to give them the gift of life.

00:16:27.200 If, as I said, that's exactly what we predicted over a year ago.

00:16:31.620 Yeah, I want to play and just remind people exactly what was said.

00:16:34.600 And it's I hate it when these predictions become reality, because it's not good for the victims families.

00:16:40.520 It's not good for law and order. It's not good for for justice.

00:16:43.540 And yet this is exactly what we knew was going to happen because of the radicals within Joe Biden's administration and his viewpoint.

00:16:51.000 And by the way, I'm going to make a prediction as well, which which is that these are not the only mass murderers that I think this administration is going to refuse to follow federal law and impose the death.

00:17:05.260 But I'm going to make a prediction right now, which is Joe Biden, before he leaves the White House, will commute the sentence of every federal prisoner on death row, that he will do it for every one of them.

00:17:18.720 And that includes it includes the white supremacist and Nazi who murdered nine African-Americans at the Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina, in a horrific hate crime.

00:17:33.400 He's on federal death row. It includes the Boston bomber who murdered innocent people by exploding a bomb at the Boston Marathon. 0.91

00:17:42.400 One of the two brothers is still alive. He's on death row.

00:17:45.560 And my prediction right now is Joe Biden intends to spare every one of these mass murderers. 1.00

00:17:54.780 Every one of them, many of them are racist, bigoted, homicidal lunatics. 0.81

00:18:00.900 And I think we're going to see him commute all of their sentences before he leaves the White House. 0.93

00:18:06.580 I mean, we said that a year ago, Senator, and there was these these clear, you know, moments where the mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed of 9-11.

00:18:15.760 They were like, oh, yeah, let's not put that guy to death. Let's let's do a deal and let's let him live.

00:18:20.800 And now we can see it. And you say we're very close. It's becoming a reality.

00:18:25.580 What could stop this? What is there anything that people listening could do right now to say no to this?

00:18:32.640 Well, yes. And the podcast you just played was from August of 2023.

00:18:37.800 So it was more than a year ago. It was last summer.

00:18:40.480 And that was when the news was reported that the Biden administration was cutting a deal with Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind of 9-11, to take the death penalty off the table.

00:18:49.900 And that was about to happen. And we covered this on the podcast and the news was ignoring it.

00:18:55.920 CNN was ignoring it. The networks were ignoring it.

00:18:58.260 We covered it at length. And I got to say, our listeners were incredible.

00:19:02.060 They lit up the phones. They began speaking out. They began tweeting about it.

00:19:05.540 They began using their voice. And the political heat on the White House became so intense that I believe this podcast played a major role in ratcheting up the heat on the White House and causing them to back away from granting clemency and taking taking the death penalty off the table for Khalid Sheikh Sheikh Mohammed.

00:19:25.200 Right now, not only is Joe Biden considering sparing the life of the bomber at the Boston Marathon, he's also considering sparing the life of the bigoted racist who murdered African-Americans at the Mother Emanuel Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

00:19:43.560 And by the way, he's also considering sparing the mass murder at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2018.

00:19:50.740 And all of these, you have vicious racists who committed mass murders.

00:19:55.180 And yet the Democrat Party, they have embraced the notion that capital punishment is always wrong, even in the most egregious circumstances.

00:20:04.280 And your question is, what can listeners do? Speak out.

00:20:07.560 If you're outraged, if you don't want these racist, bigoted psychos given clemency by the president of the United States, let your voice be heard. 0.92

00:20:17.960 We turned it around with KSM. Let's turn it around with this as well. 0.82

00:20:21.340 It's also, I think, a mindset that is that is starting to change in this country and not in a good way.

00:20:28.620 The left is continuing to cheer and turn murderers into heroes and people that are just horrible human beings into I don't know.

00:20:43.760 It's like they're movie scripts for them.

00:20:46.460 It's this reality TV obsession where they're like, oh, we think because someone is is attractive that therefore we should spare their life.

00:20:56.500 And because they went up against somebody we don't like, whether it be trying to assassinate Donald Trump or killing the CEO of the of the health care company in New York City as an assassin.

00:21:07.700 Like, but the assassin looks nice.

00:21:09.160 And now we're seeing it make its way into TV.

00:21:14.080 I know you saw this, as I did on Saturday Night Live this weekend, and it was disgusting as Saturday Night Live live not only talked about this murder, but they actually the audience was cheering on the murderer who killed the CEO.

00:21:33.000 Yeah, this was during the weekend update on Saturday Night Live this weekend, and Colin Jost had a joke about the mass, the murder, not mass murderer, but the murderer who shot the health care CEO in cold blood.

00:21:46.940 And the reaction of the audience, this is a live audience in New York City.

00:21:51.880 I got to say it took my breath away.

00:21:54.320 So he just mentions his name.

00:21:56.100 I'm not going to mention the murderer's name, but it is in this little excerpt.

00:21:59.560 And I want you to hear the audience's reaction at hearing the name of this cold blooded murderer.

00:22:05.700 Play the clip.

00:22:06.140 Luigi Mangione dropped his extradition fight and was flown from Pennsylvania to New York to face multiple charges.

00:22:25.600 In related news, Bumble exploded.

00:22:27.880 I mean, I think he was actually a little shocked by the audience there that they were cheering like it was a rock star.

00:22:39.160 Charles Manson.

00:22:39.680 Woohoo.

00:22:40.360 Jeffrey Dahmer.

00:22:41.220 Yay.

00:22:41.800 Ted Bundy.

00:22:42.480 Woohoo.

00:22:43.400 Like, what the hell is wrong with people?

00:22:46.460 And it happened in New York City where this is being taped.

00:22:49.380 It he was shot not far from where this was.

00:22:53.220 This was taped.

00:22:54.240 And listen, we've talked about this before.

00:22:56.700 The leftists have spread the ideology that oppressors being the subject of violence is a good thing.

00:23:05.340 Anyone defined as an oppressor. 1.00

00:23:07.160 These are the same idiots that are cheering Hamas in Israel. 1.00

00:23:12.580 These are the same idiots who believe that violent revolution. 1.00

00:23:16.140 These are the same idiots that look the other way at Black Lives Matter and Antifa riots for an entire year. 1.00

00:23:22.140 Because if it's a so-called oppressor, or so-called victim against a so-called oppressor, violence and murder is okay. 1.00

00:23:30.040 And I've got to say, watching that, listening to that, that's horrifying, because the screams of joy, we covered a week ago on this podcast how Taylor Lorenz, the former reporter for the Washington Post, described that she felt joy when the CEO was murdered.

00:23:49.200 Well, you know what, you just heard screams of joy, and that is the poison that has been accepted, sadly, so far on the left of our society.

00:23:59.940 Yeah, it really is sad, and yet, again, they're turning these people into heroes, and now we're going to see this president give out clemency to people that have taken others' lives.

00:24:10.600 And you wonder where our moral compass is in this country right now.

00:24:14.200 It is being destroyed by the left.

00:24:16.540 I want to talk to you real quick about our friends over at USCCA.

00:24:19.940 USCCA, there is a reason why they have over 800,000 Americans that are members of the USCCA, because not only do they help you understand how to protect and defend yourself and to protect and defend your family at home, but they also make sure that you're protected with our twisted legal system if you ever have to use a firearm to defend yourself.

00:24:45.180 Now, look, I've had to use a firearm to save my own life.

00:24:47.840 I had to pull the trigger, and I wish I would have known about USCCA and been a member.

00:24:52.740 The reason is because they are there fighting to keep our Second Amendment rights alive and protect you.

00:24:59.700 That's why there's over 800,000 Americans that are members of the USCCA, because not only will you get access to their Protector Academy, where you learn vital skills like precision shooting and how to fortify your home against criminals,

00:25:12.920 but you also get access to the 24-7 critical response team.

00:25:19.640 Why is that so important?

00:25:21.200 Because that is the included benefit of self-defense liability insurance to make sure that you and your family are prepared for anything.

00:25:29.300 Unfortunately, there's a lot of activist DAs in this country right now that do not like law-abiding citizens exercising their Second Amendment right, and that's why you need someone looking out for your rights.

00:25:40.960 For a limited time, if you text the word America right now to 87222, you're going to get the USCCA's free life-saving concealed carry and family defense guide and a chance to win $1,700 to buy any self-defense gear that you need before it's too late.

00:26:02.480 So, text the word America right now for your chance to win $1,700 to buy any self-defense gear you need to 87222 right now.

00:26:13.800 That number again, text the word America to 87222 right now.

00:26:19.560 All right, Senator, finally, I want to get back to the turning point event that you just left.

00:26:25.380 Obviously, Donald Trump was there, you were asked to speak, and I want you to give us a quick preview before we play your speech, because this is one of those speeches that I think is really about setting the tone for what's coming in January when you guys have control of the Senate and the House and the White House.

00:26:46.420 Well, I started this morning speaking, and this is about an hour before the exchange that you heard at the beginning of the podcast with President Trump and me.

00:26:53.800 I addressed, as I said, over 3,000 young people, activists at Turning Point.

00:26:58.600 It was incredible, and I really wanted to encourage them.

00:27:00.800 I wanted to encourage them that they had had a profound impact on this election, on this country, and I also wanted to focus on now that we've won, we've got a job to do.

00:27:10.980 And so what I attempted to do in these remarks is lay out here are the deliverables that we need to accomplish in the next two years to have a clear vision for what to expect.

00:27:22.140 I'm really excited. I'm excited about President Trump being re-elected and coming back into office.

00:27:27.580 I'm excited about a Republican Senate and a Republican House, but I also have in front of me the absolute seriousness we need to deliver on our promises.

00:27:37.280 And so that's what I had to say to Turning Point this morning.

00:27:39.920 Take a listen as we play this right now.

00:27:42.620 God bless Turning Point.

00:27:44.460 We are looking at America.

00:27:51.900 We are gathered here at truly a momentous time.

00:27:56.060 If you were young and passionate, and it was 1776, you would have been part of transforming and creating the United States of America.

00:28:08.100 If you were young and passionate, and the year was 1980, and the Reagan Revolution was happening, you would have been part of transforming the United States of America.

00:28:20.880 And today, in 2024, you are young and passionate, and every one of you is integral to transforming the United States of America.

00:28:31.240 The Washington Swamp is terrified of you.

00:28:43.020 Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris are terrified of you.

00:28:50.240 Joe Biden, well, no, he's actually not terrified. He doesn't know where he is.

00:28:55.220 But he is wondering what time the People's Court is on TV.

00:29:00.960 If you look at what happened in November, the results of the election were clear and unequivocal.

00:29:08.980 Seven battleground states across America.

00:29:12.120 We won all seven.

00:29:14.560 And I've got to say, Donald J. Trump is truly an extraordinary leader.

00:29:27.500 Has there ever been anyone in American history who, after being shot in the head, stands up and responds,

00:29:36.940 Fight! Fight! Fight!

00:29:39.240 Fight!

00:29:39.420 Fight!

00:29:39.500 Fight!

00:29:39.520 Fight!

00:29:41.500 The American people have given us the White House.

00:29:48.760 They've given us the House.

00:29:51.380 They've given us the Senate.

00:29:54.480 Now, it's time for us to deliver.

00:29:57.680 We have work to do to deliver on our promises so a year from now, two years from now, four years from now,

00:30:06.900 the American people can say they did exactly what they said they would do.

00:30:13.000 Number one, starting on January 20th, we will secure the border.

00:30:19.760 Catch and release ends on January 20th. 0.99

00:30:35.020 If you are an illegal alien, if you're a murderer, if you're a rapist, if you're a child molester, if you're a Venezuelan gang member, pack your bags because you're getting the hell out. 0.99

00:30:47.500 And I'm here to tell you that's not going to take a year. 1.00

00:30:58.060 It's not going to take six months.

00:30:59.560 We are going to see the numbers of illegal immigration plummet, and they are going to plummet in January and February of this year.

00:31:08.520 Number two, we are going to unleash American energy.

00:31:22.020 America is the world's energy superpower, the number one producer of oil in the world, the number one producer of natural gas in the world.

00:31:30.840 And America will be energy dominant.

00:31:35.240 If you're fed up with high prices, high prices at the gas pump, high prices at the grocery store, high prices when you pay your bills, energy feeds into every one of them.

00:31:46.660 The American people in this election said enough is enough is enough.

00:31:50.860 And we are going to lower energy costs and make life more affordable for everyone.

00:32:02.140 Number three, we are going to unleash small business.

00:32:07.940 The regulators descending from Washington, we are going to repeal the rules they're using to kill small businesses.

00:32:16.200 And I'll tell you what, we are also going to unleash crypto.

00:32:21.700 I'm proud to stand with crypto.

00:32:24.080 I'm proud to stand with Bitcoin.

00:32:26.040 And I am the only member of the United States Senate who is, in fact, a Bitcoin miner.

00:32:32.140 I've got three miners hashing in West Texas right now.

00:32:36.340 And it is beautiful.

00:32:38.400 And let me say to all of crypto and all of Bitcoin, come to Texas.

00:32:43.060 Texas is the oasis for Bitcoin.

00:32:50.860 Number four, we will restore integrity to the Department of Justice and the FBI.

00:32:58.200 If you are a wild-eyed partisan who has abused your power and targeted your political enemies at DOJ or the FBI, well, pack your bags because your job is done.

00:33:09.420 And that means, number five, we will enforce the law, especially against universities across this country.

00:33:17.420 The anti-Semitic protests we've seen at universities will end next year.

00:33:30.600 If you violently protest, if you threaten your fellow students, you will be arrested, you will be expelled, and if you're a foreigner, you will be deported. 0.99

00:33:47.400 And we're going to see the Department of Justice and the FBI follow the money, go after the money, cut off the money.

00:34:02.120 We're going to see universities that tolerate anti-Semitism having their federal funds cut off.

00:34:08.680 And when your fellow students look around and say, hey, why didn't this happen before?

00:34:20.620 Why did everyone look the other way at the violence and the threats and the hatred and the bigotry?

00:34:26.460 You're going to be in a position to tell them.

00:34:28.220 And we will end the wars with victory.

00:34:33.660 The war in Ukraine will end this next year, and Vladimir Putin will lose.

00:34:40.980 And the war in Israel will come to an end, and Hamas will lose.

00:34:45.780 Hezbollah will lose.

00:34:47.480 Iran will lose. 0.94

00:34:49.260 Every one of you, stand up and speak, and I want to encourage you, inform your friends.

00:34:57.440 I want to ask you, pull out your cell phone.

00:35:00.140 Pull out your cell phone and send the word, text the word VERDICT to the number 24005.

00:35:10.080 That number again, 24005.

00:35:13.960 Text the word VERDICT.

00:35:15.520 You will get back a link to subscribe to my podcast that is designed to help inform you to be.

00:35:26.660 You are the ones who won this election.

00:35:29.200 You are the ones who are persuading your colleagues.

00:35:32.380 You are the ones who are informed and educated and engaged.

00:35:36.080 And just as if we were in 1980, just as if we were in 1776, I stand here today amazed and inspired to be in the company of patriots who love America, who together we are making America great again.

00:35:54.920 God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

00:35:59.880 Senator, it's really exciting to just see where we're going to be going over the next year.

00:36:06.220 We're going to be covering it all here.

00:36:07.840 And for all of you that are getting ready for Christmas, I just want to make sure I say Merry Christmas to you and your family.

00:36:14.420 Don't forget what this is about.

00:36:16.200 Be safe on the road, Senator.

00:36:17.480 I know you want to say something as well.

00:36:19.520 Well, I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas.

00:36:21.740 I hope you have a wonderful and blessed Christmas.

00:36:23.980 I hope you spend time with your family, hug your loved ones.

00:36:27.100 I hope you focus on God's love for us, his salvation for us, and take a minute away from the craziness of politics just to be thankful for the blessings we enjoy as Americans, the blessings we enjoy with God's love.

00:36:43.780 Merry Christmas.

00:36:45.300 This is an iHeart Podcast.

00:36:48.160 Guaranteed Human.
