00:02:48.660 Welcome, it is Verdict with Ted Cruz Weekend Review.
00:02:52.180 Ben Ferguson with you, and these are the stories that you may have missed that we talked about this week.
00:02:56.660 First up, in a shocking new display of, well, insanity,
00:03:00.320 Tucker Carlson is now saying that he loves Russia more than the UK.
00:03:05.040 What made him say it? We explain it.
00:03:07.160 Up next, El Saeed gets himself in serious trouble by claiming this family has no ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
00:03:13.900 The only problem is, that's not what his own family is saying, and we've got the receipts.
00:03:19.260 And finally, a major race is happening in Texas between James Tallarico and Ken Paxton.
00:03:25.280 Just how dangerous is Tallarico?
00:03:27.520 We have the latest that he's had to say that is shocking everyone.
00:03:30.920 It's the Week in Review, and it starts right now.
00:03:34.080 There was another interesting point, and the Senate and I, we saw this, and it was another thing that went viral.
00:03:38.820 One of the things that Tucker seems to be obsessed with is defending Russia and putting out propaganda about Russia and how great it is.
00:03:47.160 We saw that in the Putin interview.
00:03:48.360 We saw that in the weirdest thing I've ever seen him do, which was talking about how somehow Russia had better grocery stores in the United States of America.
00:03:56.680 We've talked about the Cold War, and we've talked about when the former leader of the USSR came to Houston, Texas, went to a grocery store, and realized, like, we need this.
00:04:06.300 We don't have this. 0.57
00:04:07.520 And now he's out there saying, no, no, no, like, Russia's amazing.
00:04:10.480 One other part in the interview that you guys did, he was trying to tell the world that Russia was somehow bigger and better than the U.K., and I want to play that clip as well.
00:04:21.320 Take a look at this. 0.57
00:04:22.460 So let's explain why Russia would want to pick a fight with Britain.
00:04:27.280 It's got a much larger economy than Britain's by, I think, basic measure.
00:04:32.000 No, no, no, it hasn't got a larger economy than Britain's.
00:04:33.500 It's got a smaller economy than Britain's.
00:04:34.700 It's got a larger military.
00:04:37.560 But it's a much larger economy.
00:04:38.700 It has much more wealth and resources.
00:04:41.200 It has a much larger manufacturing sector.
00:04:43.100 Its GDP is smaller than the UK's.
00:04:45.740 Yeah, but GDP is not, I mean, the only measure of an economy.
00:04:49.360 It's a pretty important measure of an economy.
00:04:51.780 It's one measure. 0.76
00:04:53.200 Russia is an economic failure.
00:04:56.280 That it could have a huge economy, 1.00
00:04:59.020 but it's got a small economy because it's deeply corrupt
00:05:02.420 and it hasn't managed to use its resources effectively.
00:05:06.740 And so, although the population of Russia is bigger than that of the United Kingdom, very significantly,
00:05:13.460 its GDP per capita is so much lower that the total GDP of Russia is smaller than that of the United Kingdom.
00:05:19.660 Right.
00:05:20.680 I mean, that's just pure propaganda from Russia at that point.
00:05:24.000 It was an extraordinary thing for him to say.
00:05:26.120 It's so simply factually wrong.
00:05:28.140 And his apologists have tried to go on about purchasing power parity GDP.
00:05:32.180 But I'm afraid purchasing power parity GDP doesn't pay your bonds.
00:05:38.000 Well, and listen, Tucker has an objective.
00:05:41.820 His objective is to say Russia and Putin are better than America.
00:05:47.820 His objective also is to say Hitler and the Nazis are better than America and better than Britain.
00:05:54.120 He is engaged in an effort to rehabilitate and indeed to celebrate some of the greatest villains of the world. 0.54
00:06:01.540 Um, many have asked whether Tucker is being paid by Cutter and other Islamist sources.
00:06:09.220 Uh, I don't know if he is, but I am a believer in Occam's razor. 1.00
00:06:13.340 The simplest explanation is usually the right one.
00:06:16.640 And there was a time not too long ago when Tucker wore bow ties and, and brought out
00:06:21.400 pom-poms and was cheering on the Iraq war and, and almost every syllable of every word
00:06:27.060 that came out of his mouth, he has since repudiated.
00:06:29.960 keeps the pom-poms, but now they are reserved for Hitler and Putin. And he also engages, that shows
00:06:37.560 another one of Tucker's methods, which is simply lying. He engages in debates in a fact-free
00:06:44.840 environment where he makes assertions that are just wildly wrong on the assumption that he won't
00:06:50.180 get called out. So he says in that discussion, well, Russia's economy is much, much larger
00:06:56.360 than the UK's, to which your response was to laughingly say, well, no, that happens not to be
00:07:02.640 true. And by the way, I just pulled out my phone and typed in really quickly, compare the GDPs of
00:07:09.580 the UK and Russia. And here's what Google comes up with. The United Kingdom's GDP
00:07:16.640 is $4.26 trillion. That is ranked fifth globally. Russia's GDP is $2.65 trillion,
00:07:27.180 ranked ninth globally. So that means the British economy is nearly twice the size
00:07:33.360 of Russia's economy. But more importantly, and this is a point, Sir Jacob, you emphasized,
00:07:39.360 is GDP per capita. Because you rightly observed, Russia's a much bigger country geographically,
00:07:45.780 but has a much bigger population than the United Kingdom. GDP per capita, the United Kingdom is
00:07:52.320 $61,000 per person. That is a robust GDP per capita among the highest in the world.
00:07:59.800 Russian GDP per capita is $18,500 per person. So less than a third British GDP per capita.
00:08:11.440 And the reason that Tucker so desperately wants to lie about this is he's not just
00:08:18.780 trying to rehabilitate Putin. He's trying to rehabilitate communism. He's trying to
00:08:25.200 rehabilitate the economic system that justifies the totalitarianism of Russia and before that,
00:08:31.840 the Soviet Union. And you quite rightly pointed out the Russian economy is an absolute disaster.
00:08:38.100 It is a failure. And Ben made reference to the fact Tucker did a year or two ago a TV show
00:08:47.360 where he went to Russia, he interviewed Putin, and he went to a grocery store, and he oohed and
00:08:52.420 ahed that they had some bread on the grocery store shelves. And in his telling, the Russian
00:08:58.820 grocery store was far nicer than any grocery store these uncivilized oafs in the United States 1.00
00:09:05.300 might have. And I don't know that Tucker fully realized that he was at that point. He should 0.99
00:09:13.860 have pulled on a clown suit because he was clowning reality. And ironically, he was mimicking 0.94
00:09:21.420 what had happened decades before when Boris Yeltsin came to my hometown of Houston and went
00:09:28.580 to a local grocery store and walked through. And this was not a grocery store we had singled out
00:09:33.540 is like, oh, this is the grocery store to show the Soviets and prove that. It's just a standard 0.82
00:09:38.840 grocery store that's sitting there. People went shopping. And he walked in and was utterly
00:09:44.240 flabbergasted at the 30 different kinds of bread and the fresh fruit and, you know, 40 different
00:09:51.460 kinds of ice cream and everything. And he marveled at the time that there's no way we can compete
00:09:58.540 with an economy that can produce this kind of abundance, this kind of variety. And going back
00:10:04.900 to truth, free enterprise works. Communism doesn't. Socialism doesn't. Tucker is also engaged in an
00:10:12.660 endeavor to defend socialism, to defend Zoran Mandami, to defend Abdul al-Sayed, to defend
00:10:18.480 Marxists and government control. And so we should wrap up, Sir Jacob, but I want to
00:10:26.380 ask a question, a general question, two parts. One, why do you believe it is a good thing
00:10:34.780 that the allies won World War II? And number two, what is good and valuable and worth preserving
00:10:43.400 about British culture and values and American culture and values?
00:10:48.460 Thank you. Well, I, first of all, as an Englishman who's visited America from time to time,
00:10:54.600 American supermarkets are a level above from British supermarkets and we're not
00:11:00.480 too impoverished here, but nonetheless your supermarkets are on a scale that we
00:11:05.400 simply don't see in this country, let alone in Russia. So to say Russian ones 0.68
00:11:09.840 are better is just very, very deeply silly. What was the reason for fighting 0.99
00:11:15.240 the Second World War? Well of course it was the fight of good against evil. It
00:11:20.100 was the understanding that sovereign borders need to be respected, that
00:11:24.520 That is the foundation stone of the international order that we've had really since the Treaty
00:11:30.380 of Westphalia in 1648, and it creates a stability that allows for prosperity, because if you
00:11:37.700 look at how prosperity comes about, it comes about because of free constitutions where
00:11:45.720 people have rights, where, in the words of John Fortescue, writing in the 15th century,
00:11:51.620 so rightly put it, the king is under the law as well as everybody else. So if you make money,
00:11:57.600 you keep it. Free societies become prosperous, but a free world is also more prosperous. The
00:12:03.020 controlled dictatorial world has never managed to be very prosperous for very long. And so the
00:12:10.720 Second World War was worth fighting on absolute principles, on the absolute moral principle of 0.96
00:12:16.440 good against evil, and that was worth doing on and of its own, because Hitler was a degree of 0.85
00:12:22.660 magnitude more evil than other dictators. But it was also worth fighting, because it was in 0.88
00:12:29.660 the interests of prosperity and of freedom. So what do the United States and the United Kingdom
00:12:35.880 give to the world? And I expect everyone you speak to from England always says the affection
00:12:42.960 we have for America. I have a particular one because although you may think I sound very
00:12:47.540 English, actually my grandmother was American and very proud of being an American. She died
00:12:55.540 when I was only eight or nine, but I was very fond of her as a child. So I have an American
00:13:00.520 connection. What we have given to the world is this concept of freedom. I think two countries
00:13:07.640 have beautiful constitutions, yours and mine, and they are different in one way. Ours is
00:13:15.040 very easy to change, yours is very difficult to change, yours has the judges who have a
00:13:21.320 degree of extra authority, and ours is a system where Parliament has all the authority. But
00:13:27.000 the two systems have protected and preserved freedom and liberty, not just for our own
00:13:33.360 citizens, but across the world for the last 200 years, really. And we've become friends fairly
00:13:40.360 soon after the American Revolution. We patched things up. A lot of people in England recognized
00:13:47.780 the rights of Americans as people who, had they been in England, would have had those rights.
00:13:54.000 They're very sympathetic to the arguments being made. And so we put our differences aside
00:13:58.720 relatively quickly. Certainly by the end of the Napoleonic Wars we're getting on
00:14:03.460 really very well. And we are the force for freedom globally, which has led to
00:14:08.560 prosperity, living standards that are unimaginable to our forefathers. And that
00:14:14.440 has been a phenomenal contribution to the world, but also to our own people. And I
00:14:21.100 happen to think that if you put your own national security, your own way of life,
00:14:24.820 your own civilization and culture first, you then help the rest of the world. And I think most of
00:14:31.060 the time we've had it the right way around. Just one final thought on what you were saying about
00:14:37.280 Mr. Carlson. Isn't it interesting that eventually that you become so right-wing that you become
00:14:42.980 practically a communist? Yep. The horseshoe theory is powerful. We are seeing that overlap.
00:14:48.800 and it does help to remember that truth is truth is truth and evil is evil is evil.
00:14:56.460 Sir Jacob, thank you for joining us.
00:14:57.820 This was a delightful conversation.
00:14:59.380 I will say next time we will have to do it in person and perhaps imbibe a bit of scotch
00:15:06.340 and light up a cigar from my father's homeland.
00:15:10.960 But fear not, if we do that, we shall burn the evidence.
00:15:14.580 Very good.
00:15:15.800 I am thankful for your erudition.
00:15:18.260 I am thankful for your courage.
00:15:20.320 I am thankful for your good spirit.
00:15:22.940 And let me say, God save the king.
00:15:25.960 Thank you very much.
00:15:26.960 And may I say, God bless America.
00:15:29.060 Amen.
00:15:29.800 Now, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation,
00:15:32.260 you can go back and listen to the full podcast from earlier this week.

00:18:44.020 it's always interesting to see what the first thing they say is.
00:18:47.480 I did have one of the more difficult questions, though.
00:18:51.660 He sits next to me, and he sees I'm on my computer,
00:18:56.060 and he goes, big sports fan.
00:18:57.820 And I was like, yeah, actually.
00:18:59.360 And he goes, what do you think about my Jaguars this year?
00:19:02.260 I realized, like, no one's ever asked me that question ever about anything.
00:19:07.920 And I was like, Duval.

00:19:27.560 I'm Cameron Dicker, the kicker from the Los Angeles Chargers,

00:19:41.780 So, we know a little something about kicking balls.
00:19:44.760 Maybe you're new to the game, or you're ready to take your passion to the next level.
00:19:48.600 Each week, we'll tackle things like, who's winning the Premier League this year?
00:19:52.400 Playing like a number 10. Do you know what that means?
00:19:55.500 Then we go over to France.
00:19:57.240 Ligue 1.
00:19:58.000 Ligue 1.
00:19:58.860 Ligue 1?
00:19:59.400 Ligue 1.
00:20:00.260 He knows more. He's better than me.
00:20:01.840 What do you think is harder, scoring a penalty kick or scoring a field goal?
00:20:05.480 He's in the NFL, and I'm like, just a big factor.
00:20:07.460 I do another.
00:20:08.100 That's crazy.
00:20:08.860 Join us each week for a quick chat with your soccer-loving bros
00:20:11.840 about the best sport in the world.
00:20:13.380 Soccer. Just don't tell my coaches I said that.
00:20:16.440 Listen to Big Kick Energy on the iHeartRadio app, Apple Podcasts,
00:20:19.920 or wherever you listen to podcasts.
00:20:22.440 Now on to story number two.
00:20:24.600 All right, so let's get back into this story.
00:20:26.720 And again, the scary part is there's even more to this.
00:20:30.260 Yeah, so in 2018, there was a documentary that showed El Saeed asking filmmakers to keep his living room bookshelf out of the frame to, quote, keep the shot secular.
00:20:45.720 So, now, what do you think that bookshelf held that he was trying to keep out of the documentary because he didn't want people to see that?
00:20:53.180 By the way, this is not just a book he had somewhere that he proudly displays in his living room.
00:20:57.980 Yeah.
00:20:58.180 Well, one included works by Abu Amina Bilal Phillips, who is a 1993 World Trade Center bombing unindicted co-conspirator.
00:21:09.300 It also included books by Brotherhood member Muhammad al-Ghazali, a Jamaat al-Islami member, and also by Shakul Islam ibn Taymiyyah, whose writings both Al-Qaeda and ISIS cite.
00:21:32.420 His campaign later said, this was not Abdul's bookshelf.
00:21:36.480 It was apparently another bookshelf someone smuggled into his living room against his wishes.
00:21:40.320 And they said, a background book is, quote, not an endorsement.
00:21:45.060 This is, again, apparently someone mysteriously is putting books in his living room.
00:21:50.220 Now, I want to stop and go back to a foundational question.
00:21:54.900 The evidence is overwhelming that Abdul al-Sayed is a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, that his family, as his sister says, have long been Muslim Brotherhood supporters.
00:22:06.140 But let's stop for a second and say, what is the Muslim Brotherhood?
00:22:08.820 Should we be worried?
00:22:09.900 I mean, look, Brotherhood is nice, right?
00:22:11.780 What's wrong with Brotherhood?
00:22:13.360 So let's do a little bit of background as to what the Muslim Brotherhood is.
00:22:17.180 The Muslim Brotherhood, whose technical name is Al-Ikwan Al-Muslimon, is a transnational Sunni Islamist movement founded in Egypt in 1928 by schoolteacher Hassan al-Banna, whose stated aim was government by Sharia and ultimately a global Islamic order.
00:22:44.680 The Muslim Brotherhood's motto declares, quote,
00:22:47.440 The Koran is our constitution. 1.00
00:22:51.500 Jihad is our way. 1.00
00:22:54.520 Death for the sake of Allah is our wish. 0.93
00:23:00.060 Albana's doctrine of Tamkin, which means empowerment, lays out a stage path for reforming individual Muslims, to building loyal communities, to taking state power.
00:23:14.740 Brotherhood members assassinated Egyptian Prime Minister Mahmoud al-Nukrashi in 1948
00:23:21.820 and tried to kill Egyptian President Nasser in 1954.
00:23:26.500 And the writings of Brotherhood ideologue Sayyid Khutub
00:23:30.760 later supplied the theological framework for both al-Qaeda and ISIS.
00:23:38.400 The theological framework. Let's say that just again.
00:23:40.900 The theological framework is one of the people involved in the Muslim Brotherhood for ISIS and Al-Qaeda. 0.57
00:23:48.360 Yes.
00:23:49.180 The Brotherhood operates through national branches that adopt their tactics to local conditions.
00:23:55.920 Hamas is, by its own 1988 charter, the Brotherhood's Palestinian branch.
00:24:02.100 The Lebanese branch of the Muslim Brotherhood fought alongside Hezbollah.
00:24:07.200 Qatar serves as the movement's chief state patron.
00:24:12.940 In Egypt, the Brotherhood briefly held power under President Mohamed Morsi from 2012 to 2013
00:24:20.760 before he was removed and the group was banned as a terrorist organization.
00:24:25.340 in the united states the brotherhood built a network of public facing 501c3 and 501c4
00:24:36.880 organizations in the muslim brotherhood's 1991 explanatory memorandum which was seized by the
00:24:44.420 fbi and entered into evidence in the holy land foundation trial it describes its u.s mission
00:24:50.580 the U.S. mission of the Muslim Brotherhood, as, quote, a kind of grand jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within.
00:25:02.020 And it lists the Islamic Society of North America, which Abdul Al-Sayed's father-in-law was one of the founding members of, 0.95
00:25:12.140 the Muslim Students Association, and the North American Islamic Trust as among, quote, our organizations. 0.88
00:25:19.740 This is the Muslim Brotherhood saying these are our organizations. 0.81
00:25:24.760 After Hamas' founding, and in an effort to derail the Oslo Accords, 0.85
00:25:29.920 the U.S. Brotherhood created a, quote, Palestine Committee in 1993.
00:25:34.600 This group of Brotherhood officials raised money for Hamas
00:25:37.980 under the banner of an American C-3 known as the Holy Land Foundation.
00:25:43.140 The Holy Land Foundation's leaders were convicted in 2008 on all 108 counts
00:25:49.500 of funneling roughly $12 million to Hamas
00:25:53.760 and prosecutors named CARE and ISNA and NAYET
00:25:59.400 as unindicted co-conspirators.
00:26:02.740 A federal judge ruled in 2009
00:26:05.360 that the government has produced
00:26:07.400 quote, ample evidence
00:26:09.240 linking CARE, ISNA and NAYET
00:26:12.780 to the Holy Land Foundation and to Hamas.
00:26:16.720 Since then, President Trump,
00:26:18.080 via Executive Order 14362 has begun the process of designating certain Muslim Brotherhood chapters
00:26:25.240 as foreign terrorist organizations and specially designated global terrorists.
00:26:31.660 By the way, that's something I have been fighting for for years,
00:26:34.360 to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization,
00:26:37.180 which President Trump has taken major steps to do,
00:26:40.240 and also designating CARE as a terrorist organization,
00:26:43.180 which has not happened yet, although the state of Texas has done so.
00:26:47.300 Isn't it amazing, Senator, that just you and I sitting here can spend a half hour
00:26:51.980 exposing exactly how he has connected the Muslim Brotherhood,
00:26:57.000 but in 12 seconds, NBC News does the job for the entire media of saying
00:27:02.480 there is no Muslim Brotherhood there, there's no fire, there's no smoke, 0.93
00:27:06.540 he already denied it, it's done, it is fact, we can move on. 0.55
00:27:11.580 Yeah, but look, NBC is covering up for him, but you don't see ABC covering this
00:27:16.140 or cbs or cnn or msnbc none of them are covering this because at this point these are institutions
00:27:23.160 where you've got many leaders in the leadership there want the democrats to win yep and listen i
00:27:29.480 think the evidence is overwhelming that abdul al-sayed's family is directly connected to the
00:27:36.940 muslim brotherhood that they have financial ties to the muslim brotherhood and that they have been
00:27:42.020 vocal supporters. If you do not believe me, believe his sister who says our family have long
00:27:47.760 been Muslim Brotherhood. That's his own sister. And yet Abdul Al-Sayed is lying about it. By the
00:27:53.760 way, the evidence is very clear that Abdul Al-Sayed has long supported the Muslim Brotherhood. He has
00:27:58.120 written in support of the Muslim Brotherhood over and over and over again. The largest donor to the
00:28:05.260 super PAC supporting his campaign is his father-in-law, who is a founding member of an
00:28:10.100 unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case. The evidence is clear and
00:28:15.440 understand the threat. I want to close where we started. If Abdul Al-Sayed wins by virtue of
00:28:23.560 being a senator, he will have access to classified information, classified information about what the
00:28:28.680 United States government is doing to stop the Muslim Brotherhood, what the United States
00:28:32.620 government is doing to prevent terrorist attacks by the Muslim Brotherhood, to prevent terrorist
00:28:36.780 attacks by the Muslim Brotherhood against the United States, against U.S. servicemen and women,
00:28:41.020 against civilians in American cities. And I believe if Abdul al-Sayed has access to that 0.99
00:28:49.300 classified materials, that it will endanger the lives of servicemen and women, American servicemen 0.60
00:28:55.600 and women serving overseas, and that it will endanger the lives of U.S. intelligence operatives
00:29:00.780 serving overseas. This is a profound danger. And so, listen, I hope Election Day is a great
00:29:07.760 election where Republicans keep the House and Senate, where we grow our majorities. That would
00:29:11.420 be a very good outcome. Yeah. But what I pray is that at a minimum, Abdul Al-Sayed is not elected
00:29:20.600 to the Senate and James Tallarico in Texas is not elected to the Senate. These two are radicals
00:29:26.280 and they're dangerous for our country,
00:29:29.140 and I hope that everyone involved between now and Election Day
00:29:31.880 does everything they can to prevent that danger
00:29:36.820 to our servicemen and women, our intelligence operatives,
00:29:40.400 serving abroad and protecting this nation.
00:29:42.980 As before, if you want to hear the rest of this conversation on this topic,

00:33:03.580 have one of the more difficult questions though. He sits next to me and he sees I'm on my computer
00:33:11.520 and he goes, big sports fan.
00:33:13.400 And I was like, yeah, actually.
00:33:14.940 And he goes, what do you think about my Jaguars this year?
00:33:18.580 I realized, like, no one's ever asked me that question ever about anything.
00:33:23.520 And I was like, Duval.

00:34:00.320 Maybe you're new to the game

00:34:04.160 Each week we'll tackle things like
00:34:05.740 who's winning the Premier League this year,
00:34:07.960 playing like a number 10.
00:34:09.760 Do you know what that means?
00:34:11.080 Then we go over to France.
00:34:12.800 Ligue 1.
00:34:13.560 Ligue 1.
00:34:14.420 Ligue 1? 1.00
00:34:15.100 Oh, damn. 1.00
00:34:15.940 He knows more. 1.00
00:34:16.580 He's better than me.
00:34:17.400 What do you think is harder?
00:34:18.960 Scoring a penalty kick or scoring a field goal?
00:34:21.040 He's in the NFL, and I'm like, just a big fat guy.
00:34:23.100 That's crazy.
00:34:24.500 Join us each week for a quick chat with your soccer-loving bros
00:34:27.400 about the best sport in the world.
00:34:28.920 Soccer.
00:34:29.600 Just don't tell my coaches I said that.
00:34:31.940 Listen to Big Kick Energy on the iHeartRadio app,
00:34:34.520 Apple Podcasts, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
00:34:37.320 I want to get back to the big story number three of the week you may have missed.
00:34:42.140 We started by talking about there's two of the most dangerous candidates in America,
00:34:46.840 El Saeed and then James Tallarico.
00:34:49.380 James Tallarico is a guy that is so extreme.
00:34:54.200 It is one of those where you go back to his record and the record is just incredible. 1.00
00:35:00.480 One of the things in his record is his obsession with transing children.
00:35:04.820 and he was asked about it at the CNN Town Hall, and it showed you who he really is. 0.83
00:35:10.320 Well, Tallarico is extreme.
00:35:12.360 As I said, he and Al Saeed are the two most extreme candidates running today.
00:35:17.300 Tallarico is also tied in the Texas Senate race.
00:35:20.180 It is a dead heat.
00:35:21.300 He and Ken Paxson are tied.
00:35:22.940 The news just broke that James Tallarico raised $64 million in the third quarter,
00:35:29.740 which is the largest third quarter of any Senate candidate in history.
00:35:34.820 So no Senate candidate in the history of America has raised more money in the third quarter before Election Day.
00:35:39.620 That brings his total to more than $134 million that he has raised.
00:35:43.960 So all across the country, leftists are flooding money into Tallarico's campaign because they understand he's one of them.
00:35:51.160 He is a Marxist. He is an Islamist. He is a radical. 0.85
00:35:54.340 And understand, he is a young guy.
00:35:56.760 He literally came of age as a woke social justice warrior. 0.94
00:36:00.960 So all of the idiocies of woke, this guy believes. 0.79
00:36:05.280 So he says things like God is non-binary. 0.97
00:36:07.580 He says things like there's six different genders.
00:36:09.400 He says things like our immigration policy should be a welcome mat on our southern border to welcome illegal immigrants into America. 1.00
00:36:16.360 And he believes this stuff, but you're right. 1.00
00:36:18.760 Believes it through and through.
00:36:20.060 He is particularly obsessed with transgender issues and wanting to do transgender surgeries on kids. 0.83
00:36:28.300 He has been one of the most vocal and aggressive defenders of sterilizing and mutilating kids in support of the transgender ideology.
00:36:39.120 Listen to him talking about about about this issue. 0.66
00:36:42.520 And this this discussion is a difficult one. It's one that requires nuance and thoughtfulness in the state legislature.
00:36:51.680 The Republican majority tried to pass an extreme ban that would go after all kinds of different forms of health care, not just gender reassignment surgeries, not just gender reassignment surgeries, which he wants you to believe is mainstream.
00:37:06.740 But he says it is extreme to actually want to stop mutilation of children and sterilization of children.
00:37:13.740 You and I have said this a lot.
00:37:15.040 We keep saying it when they tell you what they believe in, who they are.
00:37:17.560 You need to believe them.
00:37:19.000 Yeah, this topic is not a difficult one.
00:37:21.180 It's not a complicated one.
00:37:22.580 It's not a nuanced one.
00:37:24.000 It is a simple question for a little boy, for an eight year old boy. 1.00
00:37:27.500 Should you be able to cut his testicles off? 0.99
00:37:30.160 Yeah, I find the answer to that very easy, very simple. 1.00
00:37:33.460 No, you do not have the right to cut the testicles off of an eight-year-old boy.
00:37:38.100 You do not have the right to take an eight-year-old girl and to sterilize her, to engage in surgery or use chemicals that make her for the rest of her life unable to bear children. 0.93
00:37:50.640 An eight-year-old child lacks the emotional maturity to make those kind of decisions for herself or himself, and any adult doing that is child abuse.
00:37:59.240 But in Tallarico's world, do you know what the child abuse is?
00:38:02.660 it is not sterilizing your kids and and he has advocated if you refuse to put your child under
00:38:11.840 the knife if your child believes that he or she is transgender that you are abusing your kids
00:38:17.620 that is radical and and and that's who this guy is i i want you to listen to his views now
00:38:23.620 on on amnesty and and and that he wants i'm gonna i'm gonna spoil the the headline he wants to grant
00:38:31.240 mass amnesty to tens of millions of illegal immigrants give a listen and then lastly i think
00:38:36.300 we have to build a pathway to citizenship for our neighbors who have been here for years and decades
00:38:41.040 they should pay a fine they should pay back taxes they should learn english and if they can do all
00:38:46.020 those things i think they deserve a shot at joining our communities as full citizens there it is let's
00:38:52.440 just give them amnesty i i love how by the way he's like oh 20 to 30 million illegals 20 to 30
00:38:57.940 million illegals, he wants to make them all citizens.
00:38:59.980 Understand, there's one reason for it.
00:39:01.860 He believes the illegals will all vote Democrat.
00:39:04.000 You think things are bad now. You think the Democrats
00:39:06.060 are voting for Marxist and Islamist now. 0.99
00:39:08.360 With 20 to 30 illegals, 0.99
00:39:09.920 Texas turns blue, the country is 1.00
00:39:11.840 lost, and he's being very explicit
00:39:14.100 that's what he's going to fight to do.
00:39:16.400 Now I want you to listen
00:39:18.040 to what he wants to do to oil and gas.
00:39:19.640 You know, Texas, oil and gas is 0.97
00:39:21.700 a monster industry. Millions
00:39:24.120 of jobs in Texas depend on oil and gas.
00:39:26.920 Well, you know what?
00:39:27.640 James Tallarico wants to destroy those jobs for millions of Texans.
00:39:30.920 Listen.
00:39:31.420 I think the thing that frustrates me is the false equivalency, right?
00:39:35.180 We say, well, no, no introduced source is perfect.
00:39:38.260 They're all flawed.
00:39:39.360 Except, you know, renewables maybe are more variable.
00:39:44.460 But then fossil fuels are destroying the planet.
00:39:46.480 And so it's like, are those two things on equal footing, right?
00:39:51.380 I guess my only point is I want Texas to be number one in renewables going forward.
00:39:56.200 in the 21st century right right now it feels a little bit like we're the you know like we're
00:40:00.180 the number one um you know supplier of cassette tapes in 1988 right it's time to time to transition
00:40:06.100 because that's not going to last very long and so i guess i just don't know where the hostility
00:40:09.560 comes from and trying to figure out a safer cleaner greener path this is as radical as it gets
00:40:15.920 and and by the way for for those of y'all who are not watching online this is this is one that's
00:40:20.840 worth watching on YouTube because he's in a legislative hearing. He's in a legislative
00:40:25.800 hearing. He's wearing his mask. It's very cute. You can see the other people in the hearing are
00:40:31.140 not wearing their masks. So this is late. This is after COVID. But, you know, it's a virtue signal.
00:40:36.440 And by the way, to this day, you still see people walking through airports wearing masks. And I'm
00:40:41.120 grateful for that because it's like self-identifying. It's like holding up a sign going,
00:40:45.300 I'm mentally ill. I'm a crazy person. And I'm like, I'm glad. Thank you for putting that display 1.00
00:40:50.720 on. I know you're a crazy person. I'm going to give you a wide berth and you can be worried about 1.00
00:40:55.340 all the things that frighten you. Well, little James Tallarico, he's wearing his mask saying
00:41:01.460 that oil and gas is destroying the world and we have to transition away from it with no care
00:41:07.600 that millions of jobs in the state of Texas would be obliterated. He's happy to take away your job.
00:41:14.200 Not only that, maybe you say, OK, not everyone works in oil and gas in Texas. You know,
00:41:19.500 some people work in ag some people work in in say cattle we're you know massive cattle producer
00:41:25.120 well you know what if you're a cattle producer if you're a rancher he wants to destroy your
00:41:29.380 livelihood too listen to him talking about uh how much he hates meat but we have i think heard more
00:41:36.480 and more um issues of animal welfare i think not just because it's the right thing to do and the
00:41:41.620 moral thing to do but also it's as all of you know necessary to fight climate change it is now
00:41:47.320 existential that we try to reduce our meat consumption and that we try to respect animals
00:41:53.480 in all aspects of society. And so I am proud to say that our campaign has officially become a
00:42:00.180 non-meat campaign. So we are only buying vegan products from our local vegan businesses. Some
00:42:09.760 of you may know Big Nonas. They were Little Nonas and then they opened up Brick and Mortar, 0.94
00:42:14.060 another big notice but we just got our pizza from there uh today and so um the point is i think all 0.97
00:42:19.920 of us um not just policymakers but but everyone has to take personal responsibility um in this
00:42:25.560 effort nothing says woke like a vegan campaign where you got your vegan pizza in a in a state
00:42:32.000 that has like massive pride in our ranchers in texas but you know what you go all vegan buddy
00:42:37.040 knock yourself out well and and again the video talarico is of course wearing a mask while he's
00:42:42.320 saying yes and uh and by the way you go to his campaign rallies now and he's got people showing 0.78
00:42:47.420 up wearing masks in in 2026 oh yes these people are nuts these these people are little woke
00:42:53.440 marxists and islamists and and and and listen to what he just said there he says it is existential 0.83
00:43:00.240 to reduce meat consumption if you are a farmer if you are a rancher he wants to destroy your
00:43:06.860 way of life and by the way one of the challenges in the midterms is a lot of farmers and ranchers
00:43:11.000 are not happy right now, are pissed off right now.
00:43:13.460 And listen, there are, the cost of diesel's too high,
00:43:16.420 the cost of fertilizer's too high.
00:43:17.980 There are reasons that farmers and ranchers are unhappy.
00:43:20.780 I'll tell you what, if James Tallarico of Texas gets a senator
00:43:23.900 who wants to destroy oil and gas and destroy cattle ranching,
00:43:28.440 that is millions and millions of jobs.
00:43:30.820 And by the way, this show is listened to all over the country.
00:43:33.200 It turns out some of the rest of us like meat.
00:43:36.840 We like hamburgers.
00:43:37.660 We like steaks.
00:43:38.580 There's a lot of cattle ranching across the country, although I will tell you it's interesting.
00:43:42.660 There are parts of the country.
00:43:44.480 So, for example, Mississippi, do you know what they call the process of raising cattle?
00:43:49.200 You know what? I'm actually embarrassed because of my ties to Ole Miss that I don't know this answer.
00:43:55.180 I'm hoping as soon as you said, I'm like, oh, yeah, that's it. So tell me.
00:43:58.260 So Cindy Hyde-Smith, senator from Mississippi, who used to be the ag commissioner in Mississippi, 0.99
00:44:04.000 She, in our Senate lunch, she described, she says she spends a lot of time defending cattle farming.
00:44:10.360 Yes, okay.
00:44:11.160 And the rest of us look at her and we're like, cattle farming?
00:44:14.520 What the hell is cattle farming?
00:44:16.200 Do you guys, like, plant them in the ground and put fertilizer on them?
00:44:19.840 Like, in Texas, we do cattle ranching.
00:44:21.900 We don't farm our cattle.
00:44:23.060 We ranch our cattle and we farm soybeans and cotton and things you actually plant.
00:44:28.760 But it's very weird.
00:44:29.120 She's going back to the pig farms.
00:44:30.520 That's where she gets it from, the pig farming. 0.96
00:44:32.560 I'm just saying the Southeast, they do cattle farming. 0.97
00:44:35.360 The rest of the country, they do cattle ranching.
00:44:37.740 Either way, I'm for the farmers.
00:44:39.760 I'm for the ranchers.
00:44:41.080 And this zealot wants to destroy your job.
00:44:44.520 If you have a job in oil and gas, he wants to destroy your job.
00:44:48.140 If you have a job in ag, he wants to destroy your job.
00:44:50.760 If you have a job in manufacturing, he wants to destroy your job.
00:44:53.880 And your kids, he wants to make it against the law for you not to mutilate your kids.
00:45:00.180 He's a radical candidate.
00:45:01.300 He's got to be defeated.
00:45:02.320 As always, thank you for listening to Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
