00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.580 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.260 Welcome.
00:00:05.980 It is Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz, Ben Ferguson with you.
00:00:09.260 Senator, always a pleasure, and we've got a lot to talk about as we're getting very close to the 100-day mark in the Trump administration.
00:00:17.000 There's one thing that's clear.
00:00:18.540 On certain issues, the American people are standing behind the president big time.
00:00:23.460 Well, that's right, and there's a lot happening across this country, especially when it comes to illegal immigration.
00:00:28.200 As we all know, the president came in and began securing the border pretty much immediately.
00:00:34.500 We saw the numbers of illegal border crossings drop more than 99 percent, and there are new poll numbers out now that show the American people strongly support President Trump's efforts finding and deporting illegal immigrants, and yet Democrats keep doubling down.
00:00:52.860 They have decided they are the party of illegal immigration, and they're the party of gangs.
00:00:56.960 One of the more stunning developments is they're not one but two Democrat judges currently in jail, in custody, because their party is so radical that both of these judges are charged with, in one case, harboring a Trender-Aragua gang member in the judge's house.
00:01:17.580 In another case, the judge trying to secrete an illegal immigrant out of the courtroom and avoid and obstruct federal agents arresting that illegal immigrant.
00:01:29.880 Both of those judges have been arrested.
00:01:32.180 We're going to break that down as well.
00:01:33.660 And we're seeing a Democrat party that no matter how extreme the open border problem gets, they are demonstrating they will not waver.
00:01:47.600 They want more and more gang members.
00:01:49.840 It's pretty stunning.
00:01:51.020 It really is.
00:01:52.400 And yet they don't seem to be learning from what the polls say.
00:01:56.280 So that's part of why we're going to break that down for you.
00:01:58.660 I want to talk to you real quick about Patriot Mobile.
00:02:01.320 You've heard me talk about Patriot Mobile for a while now.
00:02:04.260 And you've probably known that for years that Patriot Mobile has stood in the gap for every American who believes in faith, family, and freedom, and that they are worth fighting for.

00:02:32.160 So why have you not switched to Patriot Mobile?
00:02:35.400 Well, if you're worried about coverage, you don't need to be.
00:02:39.000 They have a nationwide coverage guarantee.
00:02:42.180 In fact, they are on all three major networks, meaning that you're going to get the same great coverage you used to without the woke agenda of the left.
00:02:50.700 The other thing you're going to like is this.
00:02:52.460 They can even put a second number on a different network on your phone.
00:02:57.240 It's like carrying two phones in one.
00:02:59.480 They have unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, internet-on-the-go devices, and home internet backup.
00:03:07.500 You can get all of that from Patriot Mobile, things you can't even get from the big guys.

00:03:37.820 Switch to Patriot Mobile and defend freedom with every call and every text you make.
00:03:41.580 That's PatriotMobile.com slash verdict or 972-PATRIOT, promo code VERDICT.
00:03:48.560 You're going to get a free month of service as well.
00:03:50.960 All right, Senator, before we get into the big story, I got to ask you, we're in the playoffs right now.
00:03:56.500 And the Houston Rockets, they lost a game that was a nail-biter until the end.
00:04:03.420 And now we've got a game tonight.
00:04:05.720 I want your prediction.
00:04:07.120 It's 2-1, Golden State leading over the Rockets.
00:04:10.340 Yeah, no, it has been a rough playoff series so far.
00:04:13.620 The Rockets are the No. 2 seed.
00:04:15.420 The Warriors are the No. 7 seed.
00:04:17.160 So the Rockets should have the advantage, although this is the first time in a long time,
00:04:21.680 that the No. 2 seed is the underdog in the betting lines.
00:04:26.100 And part of it is because Golden State is a ridiculously strong 7 seed.
00:04:31.400 And in particular, Golden State traded and got Jimmy Butler towards the end of the season.
00:04:36.020 And when you have both Steph Curry and Jimmy Butler playing together, that is a frightening team
00:04:41.420 that is a much stronger team than a 7 seed.
00:04:46.120 Golden State could easily win it all.
00:04:48.720 You've got a lot of experience and you've got a lot of veterans.
00:04:52.420 The Rockets, look, I like this Rockets team.
00:04:54.540 They're young, they're talented, their defense is amazing.
00:04:59.160 They dominate the boards, they pull down offensive boards, but they're very young.
00:05:06.620 And so the first playoff game, the first playoff game was painful to watch.
00:05:12.240 It looked like they were nervous, they dribbled the ball off their feet, there were turnovers,
00:05:17.600 they were missing free throws, and Golden State just won in a dominating fashion.
00:05:22.600 Now Game 2 was great.
00:05:24.740 The Rockets came back, played really strong.
00:05:27.080 Game 2 was terrific.
00:05:29.500 But then Game 3, Game 3, the Rockets had a real opportunity because Jimmy Butler was out.
00:05:34.240 He didn't play.
00:05:35.640 And so the Rockets should have won Game 3.
00:05:39.320 And I've got to say, it was not a good night shooting for the Rockets.
00:05:43.800 They lost 104-93.
00:05:45.600 And I'll say Steph Curry is just a beast.
00:05:49.940 I mean, he played 41 minutes.
00:05:52.920 He played more than any player in the game.
00:05:54.680 He scored 36 points.
00:05:56.600 And he just lit up.
00:05:59.940 Lit up the Rockets.
00:06:01.500 And Steph Curry, he's going down in history as one of, if not the greatest shooter to ever play the game.
00:06:07.880 He's a baller.
00:06:08.760 Let's just be honest.
00:06:09.760 The guy's a baller.
00:06:10.680 It's unbelievable.
00:06:11.380 Yeah, no, his, and you look at Curry's numbers in Game 3.
00:06:17.860 He went 12 for 23.
00:06:19.980 So he shot 52% from the field.
00:06:23.100 From 3-point, he went 5 for 13.
00:06:27.580 So 38.5%.
00:06:29.740 7 of 8 from the free throw line.
00:06:33.140 And Steph Curry just willed them into the game.
00:06:36.000 I'll say Game 4, you know, people say this a lot, but to say it's a must-win game is an understatement.
00:06:43.600 If the Rockets get down 3-1, that is virtually impossible to come back from.
00:06:48.760 They'd have to win three in a row.
00:06:50.500 So I haven't been able to make any of the games this time.
00:06:54.240 I hope the series goes long.
00:06:56.420 And I'll certainly make it to playoff games as it goes forward if I can make it on the schedule.
00:07:01.340 But I've been watching them and DVRing them.
00:07:03.700 And I'll be watching on TV tomorrow night.
00:07:06.120 And hopefully...
00:07:07.420 And by the way, just so people know how authentic this is, if you're new to the show, I think it's fair to say this.
00:07:15.020 You're obsessed with basketball.
00:07:16.560 It's your sport.
00:07:17.680 You love it.
00:07:18.380 And you play several days a week.
00:07:20.060 So you and I are recording this right now at 1224 a.m. Sunday night.
00:07:24.500 The reason we're recording it at 1224 a.m. is that I've been playing hoops from 845 to about 1115.
00:07:31.220 And I play every Sunday night.
00:07:33.240 And so often, unfortunately, we have to do the podcast after basketball.
00:07:38.480 I'll tell you, it was rough because the guy whose house we play at, he has a half court that he's built in his house.
00:07:46.460 But he left the A.C. off.
00:07:47.800 And I'll tell you, in Houston, it was like playing in a sauna.
00:07:52.640 We were all dripping wet because it was about 88 degrees in the gym as we played.
00:07:57.460 I don't recommend that.
00:07:59.000 Yeah, that's not a good idea.
00:08:00.200 But this is something that you love.
00:08:01.780 You do it every week.
00:08:02.840 So when playoff season comes, this is when you torture yourself.
00:08:06.340 And I bleed Rockets red.
00:08:07.860 I mean, I've grown up.
00:08:08.740 I've been a Rockets fan my whole life.
00:08:10.440 I was at Game 7 in 94 when we won the NBA Finals and beat the Knicks.
00:08:16.880 It was the first championship Houston had ever won in any sport.
00:08:20.960 It was beautiful.
00:08:22.500 It was amazing.
00:08:23.420 It was in the Summit, which now is Lakewood Church.
00:08:26.500 And I remember, like I said, Houston had never won a championship until we won that in 94.
00:08:30.580 You were not a Houstonian at that time.
00:08:32.760 I'll tell you what it did for the city.
00:08:35.480 Literally out on Richmond Avenue, outside the stadium, there were businessmen in three-piece suits crying and hugging homeless men.
00:08:43.800 That's how it brought the city together.
00:08:46.300 And then the next year, 95, we won the Finals again.
00:08:49.600 We swept Orlando.
00:08:51.760 That was Shaq's rookie year.
00:08:53.760 So who were the stars then, back then?
00:08:55.600 Akeem Olajuwon.
00:08:56.340 Akeem Olajuwon is the greatest Rocket to ever play, and Akeem won both of those series and both of those finals.
00:09:06.820 In 95, Clyde Drexler came and joined him, and Akeem and Clyde had been teammates at University of Houston,
00:09:14.480 Faislamma Jamma, where they were incredible and made it to the Final Four, but did not win it all in college.
00:09:23.160 And the two of them, we got Clyde from Portland, and he was, as you know, in my office, I have a piece of the floor of the Summit
00:09:31.320 that is signed by that 95 Rockets championship team, and Tilman Fertitta, the team owner, is a good friend.
00:09:41.440 He's going to be the ambassador to Italy, and he's going to do a great job as ambassador to Italy.
00:09:47.300 But it is fun.
00:09:48.840 Cheering on the Rockets is fun.
00:09:50.120 And look, they've got the talent.
00:09:52.780 This is a team that could win the NBA Finals.
00:09:57.140 A challenge right now is the Rockets don't have a superstar who can dominate a game at the end.
00:10:03.340 And you've got to have that.
00:10:04.680 I mean, that's the X factor.
00:10:06.440 They've got an eight-man rotation that can score double digits pretty consistently.
00:10:12.600 But, you know, Shen Goon, their center, is really good, but he's not Steph Curry.
00:10:18.140 Now, nobody's Steph Curry.
00:10:20.180 But I do think most of the team is quite young.
00:10:26.480 For many of the team, it's their first playoffs ever.
00:10:29.380 And the playoffs are just more intense.
00:10:31.820 The playoffs also, you play a lot more half-court basketball, which means defenses can clamp down on you.
00:10:36.940 And so the Rockets have got to find a way to score at the end when it's, you know, two minutes to go and the game's on the line.
00:10:45.400 It's not clear who's going to be the guy right now.
00:10:48.840 And maybe it has to be another season and a trade or picking up a free agent.
00:10:54.540 You know, I think if you added one superstar to this lineup, it's a team that could go all the way.
00:11:00.580 Whether they can do it this year, right now, it looks pretty uphill.
00:11:03.700 Well, yeah, it's going to be very interesting.
00:11:06.720 Game tonight, I have a feeling a lot of people listening right now will be watching tonight.
00:11:10.820 My prediction, we're going to win tonight.
00:11:13.260 That's my prediction.
00:11:14.200 I don't know if we can pull the series out because Curry and Butler together is really tough.
00:11:18.600 But I think we're going to win game four.
00:11:19.980 I think they're going to – I think we're going to see – in fact, I'm going to make another prediction.
00:11:23.880 I'm going to say we're going to see a monster game tonight from Amen Thompson, who is really talented.
00:11:29.580 He's got a lot of skills, didn't play great in game three.
00:11:33.420 But I think we're going to see a great game from him tonight.
00:11:37.260 I love it.
00:11:38.440 All right.
00:11:38.720 Speaking of winning, the president's winning on one big issue as we're hitting the 100-day mark.
00:11:44.080 And that is the issue of Americans are all in on deportations of illegal immigrants, even though the media has spent just countless hours, days, and weeks with propaganda saying that we're deporting all these innocent people when clearly we're deporting a lot of illegal immigrants.
00:12:04.720 It has not had near the impact on the American people as they were hoping.
00:12:09.020 And the president's got a 12-point lead on the issue.
00:12:11.560 Yeah, I've got to say, to say the American people are all in on it I think is too strong, Ben.
00:12:16.600 There's a CBS poll that came out, the question they asked, do you approve or disapprove of the Trump administration's program to find and deport immigrants who are in the U.S. illegally?
00:12:25.500 And the answer was approve 56, disapprove 44.
00:12:29.360 That's a 12-point lead.
00:12:30.880 That's a meaningful lead.
00:12:32.900 But I don't think we should overstate it.
00:12:34.560 That means 44 percent disapprove.
00:12:36.420 We remain a divided country, which is how Democrats got elected to begin with and were able to put in the open borders.
00:12:42.920 It's interesting.
00:12:44.180 You break down the poll numbers by age and party identification and race.
00:12:51.100 So young people age 18 to 29 approve of Trump's deportation, 52-48, so plus 4.
00:12:59.380 People age 30 to 44 approve 52-48, so again plus 4.
00:13:04.420 And then you get to 45 years old and boom, the numbers jump up.
00:13:08.880 So ages 45 to 64 is 60-40, so plus 20.
00:13:13.580 And over 65 is 59-41, plus 18.
00:13:16.460 So there is a real divide between people who are under 45 versus over 45.
00:13:22.420 You want to break it down by party identification.
00:13:25.700 Among Republicans, it's 90-10, so it's plus 80.
00:13:29.320 Republicans are pretty damn happy with the deportations.
00:13:32.360 Among independents, the approve, disapprove is 54-46.
00:13:37.400 That's plus 8.
00:13:38.220 That's encouraging.
00:13:39.580 And then Democrats, it's 22-78.
00:13:43.680 So that's 56 points down, but it's interesting.
00:13:47.140 22% of Democrats approve of what Trump is doing deporting illegal immigrants.
00:13:51.680 That's an encouraging number, too, although it shows just how messed up Democrats are,
00:13:55.860 that 78% of them are like, no, no, no, no, leave the criminals here.
00:14:00.600 You break it down by race.
00:14:02.580 There are clear racial differences among whites.
00:14:05.680 It's 62-38, so that's a 24-point advantage.
00:14:10.860 Among African Americans, it's 44-56.
00:14:13.960 So that's minus 12, which is not terrible, given that Republicans typically get a lot less than that of the African American vote.
00:14:22.820 And among Hispanics, on this poll, it's 44-56, so that's minus 12 as well.
00:14:28.540 And then finally, the gender gap, which is interesting.
00:14:33.840 Men approve of the deportation 63-37, so that's a 26-point advantage.
00:14:41.480 Women are evenly divided 50-50.
00:14:44.720 And finally, white with no degree, 68-32, that's plus 36, and white with a four-year degree, a college degree,
00:14:55.540 approve 52-48, a four-point advantage.
00:14:58.740 All told, the American people are still with the president, but we remain a divided country.
00:15:03.240 So when you look at what this means moving forward for the president,
00:15:06.940 I do think it's clear that he's saying, hey, I've got a mandate to continue doing what I promised,
00:15:13.340 that I got elected on, and now you bring in a bigger issue, and that's the lawfare,
00:15:18.360 because you now have judges that are actively fighting against the president,
00:15:24.000 doing what he said he was going to do on behalf of the American people,
00:15:27.480 and having this 12-point-plus advantage on this issue,
00:15:31.320 this is, I guess, the new play for the Democrats to stop it.
00:15:34.980 Well, it's striking.
00:15:36.280 There are now two judges in jail,
00:15:38.540 because they have decided they're so all-in on open borders
00:15:43.020 that they're going to actively obstruct federal law enforcement.
00:15:46.940 So on Friday, the FBI arrested a Wisconsin judge
00:15:51.080 for hiding a previously deported illegal immigrant in her jury room
00:15:56.340 in order to try to stop him from being arrested by ICE.
00:15:59.960 And this is Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan,
00:16:04.540 who was arrested and charged with obstruction of an official proceeding.
00:16:08.980 After it came forward,
00:16:12.300 Dugan demanded that the ICE officers proceed to the chief judge's office.
00:16:17.320 And after his hearing ended,
00:16:20.000 she escorted this illegal immigrant and his attorney
00:16:22.500 out a restricted jury door,
00:16:25.220 bypassing the public area
00:16:27.260 where the agents were waiting
00:16:29.100 and she was trying to help him avoid arrest.
00:16:33.060 It didn't work.
00:16:35.040 They ended up catching this illegal immigrant anyway.
00:16:40.580 And I got to say,
00:16:42.860 it really is striking
00:16:44.340 to see a judge in handcuffs,
00:16:47.920 but the reality is
00:16:49.740 this is where so many Democrats are
00:16:52.120 that they will actively obstruct.
00:16:54.060 And I will say,
00:16:55.920 there was a back and forth
00:16:57.300 Amy Klobuchar and I had
00:16:59.020 on this issue.
00:17:01.860 So Amy, who's Democrat senator from Minnesota,
00:17:04.520 she tweeted out,
00:17:06.140 this is not normal.
00:17:07.600 The administration's arrest of a sitting judge in Wisconsin
00:17:10.280 is a drastic move that threatens the rule of law.
00:17:14.460 While we don't have all the details,
00:17:16.080 this is a grave step
00:17:17.380 and undermines our system of checks and balances.
00:17:20.900 And I responded to her.
00:17:22.840 I quote tweeted her.
00:17:24.360 And here's what I said.
00:17:25.580 Fully agree.
00:17:26.860 It is not normal
00:17:28.140 for a sitting judge
00:17:29.800 to actively obstruct law enforcement
00:17:32.140 and try to smuggle
00:17:33.900 a criminal illegal alien
00:17:35.640 out a side door.
00:17:38.000 Today's Democrat party
00:17:39.280 is so extreme
00:17:40.320 that utterly lawless behavior
00:17:42.100 is becoming more and more common.
00:17:45.180 Canadian women are looking for more.
00:17:47.220 More out of themselves,
00:17:48.300 their businesses,
00:17:49.220 their elected leaders,
00:17:50.020 and the world around them.
00:17:51.420 And that's why we're thrilled
00:17:52.380 to introduce
00:17:53.020 The Honest Talk Podcast.
00:17:55.060 I'm Jennifer Stewart.
00:17:56.340 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:17:57.560 And in this podcast,
00:17:58.700 we interview Canada's
00:17:59.660 most inspiring women.
00:18:01.300 Entrepreneurs,
00:18:02.000 artists,
00:18:02.660 athletes,
00:18:03.280 politicians,
00:18:03.940 and newsmakers,
00:18:04.860 all at different stages
00:18:05.900 of their journey.
00:18:07.060 So if you're looking to connect,
00:18:08.860 then we hope you'll join us.
00:18:10.260 Listen to The Honest Talk Podcast
00:18:11.500 on iHeartRadio
00:18:12.660 or wherever you listen
00:18:13.640 to your podcasts.
00:18:14.340 So let's talk about
00:18:17.780 the narrative here
00:18:18.900 because I think
00:18:19.480 it's really important
00:18:20.520 that people understand
00:18:21.500 there are many
00:18:22.880 that are trying to present,
00:18:24.340 for example,
00:18:25.260 this Wisconsin judge
00:18:27.040 being arrested as lawfare
00:18:29.980 that Donald Trump's going after
00:18:32.080 and the DOJ is going after
00:18:35.140 their, quote,
00:18:36.240 political appointments
00:18:37.340 as this is revenge.
00:18:39.740 I think we need to make it
00:18:41.640 abundantly clear.
00:18:43.480 This is a judge,
00:18:44.940 and you mentioned this
00:18:45.560 a moment ago,
00:18:46.540 that was obstructing
00:18:47.980 the arrest of an illegal alien.
00:18:50.240 That is against the law.
00:18:52.260 Law enforcement was there
00:18:53.860 to arrest him.
00:18:55.380 She didn't want him
00:18:56.600 to be arrested.
00:18:57.660 So she sent them one way
00:18:59.340 and then she snuck him out
00:19:01.140 a side door
00:19:01.980 through the jury room
00:19:03.120 and they had to run
00:19:04.420 and catch him on foot
00:19:05.540 because she was actively,
00:19:07.380 you know what,
00:19:08.060 if there's a criminal
00:19:08.840 and the police are trying
00:19:09.860 to apprehend him
00:19:10.840 and you hide him
00:19:13.820 and help him sneak away,
00:19:15.320 you'll be arrested.
00:19:16.180 That is called obstruction.
00:19:19.160 But what's remarkable
00:19:20.260 is this judge
00:19:22.120 is not an outlier.
00:19:23.880 There's another story
00:19:24.840 that follows
00:19:25.740 that is amazing.
00:19:26.840 This is a headline
00:19:27.520 from Fox News.
00:19:29.040 Quote,
00:19:29.220 Wisconsin judge
00:19:30.100 threatens courtroom boycott
00:19:31.620 over Hannah Dugan arrest.
00:19:33.760 Monica Isham says
00:19:34.740 she will not allow ICE
00:19:36.000 to send illegal immigrants
00:19:37.140 to a, quote,
00:19:38.060 concentration camp.
00:19:39.120 Let me just read
00:19:40.040 from the beginning
00:19:40.480 of this article
00:19:40.960 because it's astonishing.
00:19:42.960 A Wisconsin judge
00:19:43.900 is threatening
00:19:44.480 not to hold court
00:19:46.080 in protest
00:19:47.440 of federal authorities
00:19:48.400 arresting her fellow judge
00:19:49.760 Hannah Dugan last week.
00:19:51.580 Judge Monica Isham
00:19:52.480 made the announcement
00:19:53.320 in an email
00:19:54.020 to judges across the state
00:19:55.340 on Saturday.
00:19:56.580 Her email titled,
00:19:58.100 guidance requested
00:19:59.400 or I refuse to hold court,
00:20:01.640 made clear
00:20:02.240 that she had no intentions
00:20:03.460 of working with immigration
00:20:04.660 and customs enforcement.
00:20:06.440 Quote,
00:20:06.680 if there is no guidance
00:20:08.100 for us
00:20:08.540 and no support
00:20:09.200 for us,
00:20:10.080 I will refuse
00:20:10.820 to hold court
00:20:11.700 in Branch 2
00:20:12.540 or in Sawyer County.
00:20:14.220 I will not put myself
00:20:15.420 or my staff
00:20:16.140 who may feel compelled
00:20:16.980 to help me
00:20:17.540 or my community
00:20:18.520 in harm's way,
00:20:20.080 Isham wrote,
00:20:21.020 according to a copy
00:20:21.800 of the email
00:20:22.220 obtained by Wisconsin
00:20:23.300 right now.
00:20:24.460 Quote,
00:20:25.020 I have no intention
00:20:26.120 of allowing anyone
00:20:27.080 to be taken out
00:20:27.840 of my courtroom
00:20:28.420 by ICE
00:20:29.060 and sent
00:20:29.940 to a concentration camp,
00:20:31.340 especially
00:20:31.840 without due process
00:20:33.280 as both of the
00:20:34.160 constitutions
00:20:34.760 we swore to support
00:20:35.860 require.
00:20:37.240 Should I start
00:20:38.400 raising bail money?
00:20:40.240 She wrote.
00:20:42.300 Quote,
00:20:43.080 if this costs me
00:20:44.080 my job
00:20:44.640 or gets me arrested,
00:20:45.720 then at least I know
00:20:46.940 I did the right thing.
00:20:48.740 So this is a judge
00:20:49.720 who is saying
00:20:51.360 she's going to
00:20:52.380 shut her courtroom down.
00:20:53.500 Why?
00:20:54.520 Because she so opposes
00:20:56.480 illegal immigrants
00:20:57.540 actually being deported.
00:20:59.860 In other words,
00:21:00.540 federal law being followed,
00:21:01.820 that she's willing
00:21:03.300 to shut
00:21:04.120 her courtroom down,
00:21:06.960 that's how extreme
00:21:08.140 Democrats have gotten.
00:21:10.360 So when you combine
00:21:12.140 this
00:21:12.700 and these types
00:21:14.260 of arrests,
00:21:15.760 there is no
00:21:17.160 inclination here
00:21:18.160 that this is
00:21:19.040 preemptively
00:21:19.860 an idea
00:21:21.040 or a mindset
00:21:21.920 by the DOJ
00:21:23.280 or anybody else.
00:21:24.180 This is reactionary
00:21:25.680 to these activist judges
00:21:27.240 and that's something
00:21:28.360 that the media
00:21:28.800 is also distorting.
00:21:30.000 Well, it is
00:21:32.500 and I will say,
00:21:33.700 look, there's another story
00:21:34.720 out of New Mexico
00:21:35.440 which is
00:21:37.060 former Doña Ana County
00:21:38.880 magistrate judge
00:21:40.480 Joel Cano, 67,
00:21:43.620 his wife Nancy Cano, 68,
00:21:46.720 are in custody right now.
00:21:48.380 They were arrested
00:21:49.020 by Homeland Security
00:21:50.200 at their Las Cruces home.
00:21:53.080 They were arrested
00:21:54.560 for harboring
00:21:57.460 a gang member,
00:21:59.180 a Trender-Aragua
00:22:00.000 gang member
00:22:00.800 in their home.
00:22:03.520 And this Trender-Aragua
00:22:05.360 gang member,
00:22:06.100 he's covered in gang
00:22:07.180 tattoos
00:22:07.860 and the judge
00:22:11.420 faces charges
00:22:12.640 of tampering
00:22:13.540 with evidence.
00:22:14.960 Now, you know
00:22:15.360 what he did?
00:22:16.320 What was that?
00:22:17.580 He took
00:22:18.620 this
00:22:19.480 Venezuelan gang member's
00:22:21.740 cell phone,
00:22:23.020 smashed it
00:22:23.820 with a hammer
00:22:24.680 because it had
00:22:26.540 incriminating evidence
00:22:27.900 of the gang member
00:22:29.640 with firearms
00:22:30.620 and then he went
00:22:31.280 and disposed
00:22:32.160 of the cell phone
00:22:34.180 so he was trying
00:22:34.640 to hide evidence.
00:22:35.660 Now,
00:22:36.300 do you know
00:22:37.020 one of the pictures
00:22:37.860 that was on
00:22:38.900 the cell phone
00:22:40.960 allegedly
00:22:41.420 that the judge
00:22:42.200 destroyed with a hammer?
00:22:43.820 I'm going to guess
00:22:44.680 it's probably one of those
00:22:45.660 good old gang sign pictures,
00:22:47.600 right?
00:22:47.860 Because that's always
00:22:48.680 what the gang members
00:22:49.560 have on their phone.
00:22:50.840 No, it's worse than that.
00:22:51.920 It's a picture
00:22:53.200 of two victims
00:22:55.180 who are decapitated.
00:22:57.200 Wow.
00:22:57.480 We're not talking
00:22:58.340 nice, fuzzy,
00:23:00.360 friendly gang members.
00:23:01.440 We're not talking
00:23:02.180 as the media
00:23:03.360 loves to call
00:23:04.200 the illegal immigrant
00:23:05.640 up in Maryland
00:23:06.380 a quote
00:23:06.860 Maryland man.
00:23:08.760 This is a gang member
00:23:09.900 who allegedly
00:23:10.600 had pictures
00:23:11.500 of two people
00:23:12.480 with their heads
00:23:13.600 cut off
00:23:14.260 on the cell phone
00:23:15.500 and what does
00:23:16.140 a Democrat judge
00:23:17.280 do in New Mexico?
00:23:18.840 Well,
00:23:19.380 you got a gang member
00:23:20.300 who says,
00:23:20.780 hey, let me hide you
00:23:21.560 in my house
00:23:22.200 and here,
00:23:22.980 give me that phone
00:23:23.780 because they could
00:23:24.300 use that to prosecute you.
00:23:25.900 I'm going to smash
00:23:26.900 it with a hammer
00:23:27.640 and dispose of it
00:23:29.500 so they don't have
00:23:30.120 the evidence
00:23:30.580 to convict you.
00:23:31.700 That is bizarre
00:23:33.340 and that is
00:23:35.520 a Democrat judge.
00:23:37.500 The Attorney General,
00:23:38.620 by the way,
00:23:39.220 she came out strong
00:23:40.620 and said,
00:23:41.660 we're not backing down
00:23:43.100 when we see
00:23:43.660 this type of activism.
00:23:45.200 Here's part of
00:23:45.940 what she had to say
00:23:46.560 on Fox.
00:23:47.740 And to set the stage
00:23:49.060 for you and Sandra,
00:23:50.280 this was truly horrific.
00:23:52.360 This guy was in court
00:23:53.520 being prosecuted
00:23:54.720 by a state prosecutor
00:23:55.980 for domestic violence
00:23:57.560 battery.
00:23:58.500 He had beat up
00:23:59.480 two people,
00:24:00.640 a guy and a girl,
00:24:01.960 beat the guy,
00:24:02.760 hit the guy 30 times,
00:24:04.180 knocked him to the ground,
00:24:05.100 choked him,
00:24:05.700 beat up a woman
00:24:06.700 so badly
00:24:07.720 they both had to go
00:24:08.480 to the hospital.
00:24:09.500 And John,
00:24:09.880 you know,
00:24:10.160 it's so rare
00:24:10.980 for victims
00:24:11.500 to want to cooperate.
00:24:12.540 They wanted to cooperate.
00:24:13.760 They were sitting
00:24:14.460 in the courtroom
00:24:15.200 with the state prosecutor.
00:24:17.240 The judge learns
00:24:18.580 that ICE was outside
00:24:19.940 to get the guy
00:24:20.900 because he had been
00:24:21.480 deported in 2013,
00:24:23.060 came back in our country,
00:24:24.560 commits these crimes,
00:24:25.960 charged with committing
00:24:26.740 these crimes,
00:24:27.420 victims in court.
00:24:28.660 Judge finds out,
00:24:29.840 she goes out in the hallway,
00:24:31.140 screams at the immigration
00:24:32.900 officers.
00:24:33.540 She's furious,
00:24:34.440 visibly shaken,
00:24:35.960 upset,
00:24:36.680 sends them off
00:24:37.500 to talk to the chief judge.
00:24:39.100 She comes back
00:24:40.000 in the courtroom,
00:24:41.100 you're not going
00:24:41.360 to believe this,
00:24:41.940 takes the defendant
00:24:42.880 and the defense attorney
00:24:44.180 back in her chambers,
00:24:46.080 takes them out
00:24:46.580 of private exit
00:24:47.240 and tells them to leave.
00:24:48.480 While a state prosecutor
00:24:50.060 and victims
00:24:51.160 of domestic violence
00:24:52.640 are sitting
00:24:53.320 in the courtroom.
00:24:55.420 You hear her
00:24:56.540 explaining this
00:24:57.660 and you've got to think
00:24:59.120 the majority of Americans,
00:25:00.440 if they know that story,
00:25:02.640 they're going to be outraged
00:25:03.900 just as outraged
00:25:04.760 as she is.
00:25:05.620 Yeah, no,
00:25:05.960 that's exactly right
00:25:06.860 and I want to play
00:25:07.400 a second clip
00:25:08.080 from Pam Bondi
00:25:09.260 where she's talking
00:25:10.440 about the New Mexico judge
00:25:11.840 because this is not
00:25:12.740 this is not
00:25:13.640 a crazy outlier.
00:25:14.880 Unfortunately,
00:25:15.280 this is a pattern.
00:25:16.120 Give a listen
00:25:16.540 to the attorney general
00:25:17.580 talking about this
00:25:18.800 New Mexico judge
00:25:19.920 harboring a Trendaer
00:25:21.000 Aragua gang member
00:25:21.900 in his home.
00:25:22.920 I mean,
00:25:23.180 when you look
00:25:23.900 at the associations
00:25:25.740 with this violent
00:25:27.420 Venezuelan gang,
00:25:28.940 Trendaer Aragua,
00:25:29.960 and this person
00:25:30.640 that they harbored
00:25:31.900 in their home,
00:25:33.260 he was showing signs
00:25:34.680 through clothing,
00:25:35.680 we were told,
00:25:36.420 tattoos.
00:25:37.600 There was evidence
00:25:38.440 through voice messages
00:25:39.620 and text messages
00:25:40.800 of his association
00:25:41.900 to TDA.
00:25:43.300 So what charges
00:25:44.640 will Cano
00:25:45.620 and his wife
00:25:46.620 face, if any?
00:25:48.400 So Judge Cano,
00:25:50.080 soon to be
00:25:50.480 former Judge Cano,
00:25:52.340 got,
00:25:52.820 he got,
00:25:53.680 his charges
00:25:54.160 were just unsealed.
00:25:55.280 He's charged
00:25:55.780 with obstruction.
00:25:56.940 He is charged,
00:25:57.960 he admitted
00:25:58.360 post-Miranda.
00:25:59.480 He took one
00:26:00.820 of the TDA members'
00:26:02.580 cell phones,
00:26:03.860 himself,
00:26:04.560 took it,
00:26:05.020 beat it with a hammer,
00:26:06.180 destroyed it,
00:26:06.880 and then walked
00:26:07.480 to the pieces
00:26:08.020 to a city dumpster
00:26:09.840 to dispose of it
00:26:10.940 to protect him.
00:26:12.060 The wife also
00:26:12.940 is charged
00:26:13.620 with destroying evidence.
00:26:15.620 Sandra,
00:26:15.940 not only that,
00:26:17.240 this TDA member,
00:26:18.580 and he had on
00:26:19.340 a necklace
00:26:19.820 that said,
00:26:20.540 kill,
00:26:21.260 something about death,
00:26:22.200 he had tattoos
00:26:22.860 all over him.
00:26:24.040 He also had
00:26:25.120 on his cell phone
00:26:26.660 pictures of
00:26:27.880 two decapitated
00:26:29.740 victims,
00:26:30.820 two victims,
00:26:32.260 decapitated,
00:26:33.220 gruesome photos,
00:26:34.400 and he was sending
00:26:35.380 them out,
00:26:36.600 and whoever he was
00:26:37.420 sending them to
00:26:37.920 was sending back
00:26:38.520 saying,
00:26:38.740 hey, you need
00:26:39.260 to be careful,
00:26:40.180 you shouldn't be
00:26:40.820 sending these,
00:26:41.640 you shouldn't be
00:26:42.160 texting these photos
00:26:43.180 out.
00:26:43.840 Not only that,
00:26:45.280 the judge and his wife
00:26:46.780 gave him assault rifles
00:26:48.480 that belonged to
00:26:49.220 their daughter,
00:26:49.780 that's what they're
00:26:50.240 charged with.
00:26:50.900 In the criminal
00:26:52.720 report affidavit,
00:26:53.680 he goes to
00:26:55.120 a shooting range
00:26:56.420 with these assault
00:26:57.640 rifles,
00:26:58.140 with a suppressor,
00:26:59.080 with other known
00:26:59.940 TDA members,
00:27:00.920 and they're shooting.
00:27:01.960 This is the last
00:27:02.920 person that we want
00:27:04.280 in our country,
00:27:05.220 nor will we ever
00:27:06.280 tolerate a judge
00:27:07.500 or anyone else
00:27:08.340 harboring them.
00:27:10.120 I'm just so glad
00:27:11.360 we have an attorney
00:27:12.100 general,
00:27:12.640 you're good friends
00:27:13.340 with Pam,
00:27:13.640 we've had her on
00:27:14.180 the show,
00:27:15.000 that is able to
00:27:16.460 articulate this
00:27:17.640 the way that she
00:27:18.340 is,
00:27:18.740 to continue to
00:27:20.280 combat
00:27:20.740 the lies
00:27:21.380 that are being
00:27:21.700 put out there
00:27:22.300 about who is
00:27:23.040 actually getting
00:27:23.600 arrested,
00:27:24.380 who we're targeting,
00:27:25.380 and who we're
00:27:25.820 trying to get
00:27:26.400 out of the country.
00:27:28.120 No,
00:27:28.640 that's exactly
00:27:29.360 right,
00:27:30.160 and it's the
00:27:30.980 simple principle
00:27:31.700 that no one
00:27:32.520 is above the law.
00:27:34.200 Here's what
00:27:34.760 Kash Patel,
00:27:35.540 the head of the
00:27:35.940 FBI,
00:27:36.680 tweeted out,
00:27:37.520 quote,
00:27:38.100 just now,
00:27:39.200 the FBI
00:27:39.660 arrested Judge
00:27:40.600 Hannah Dugan
00:27:41.240 out of Milwaukee,
00:27:42.560 Wisconsin,
00:27:43.080 on charges
00:27:43.600 of obstruction
00:27:44.540 after evidence
00:27:45.980 of Judge Dugan
00:27:46.760 obstructing an
00:27:47.460 immigration arrest
00:27:48.280 operation last week.
00:27:49.500 We believe
00:27:50.640 Judge Dugan
00:27:51.260 intentionally
00:27:51.860 misdirected
00:27:52.600 federal agents
00:27:53.220 away from the
00:27:53.840 subject to be
00:27:54.400 arrested in her
00:27:54.980 courthouse,
00:27:56.000 Eduardo Flores Ruiz,
00:27:57.520 allowing the
00:27:58.060 subject,
00:27:58.540 an illegal alien,
00:27:59.640 to evade arrest.
00:28:01.180 Thankfully,
00:28:01.700 our agents
00:28:02.200 chased down the
00:28:03.060 perp on foot,
00:28:04.020 and he's been
00:28:04.580 in custody since.
00:28:05.980 But the judge's
00:28:06.780 obstruction created
00:28:07.780 increased danger
00:28:08.700 to the public.
00:28:09.880 We will have
00:28:10.380 more to share
00:28:11.140 soon.
00:28:12.660 Excellent work.
00:28:13.640 And then the
00:28:14.040 Attorney General,
00:28:14.700 Pam Bondi,
00:28:15.360 she tweeted,
00:28:15.860 I can confirm
00:28:16.480 that our FBI
00:28:17.040 agents just
00:28:18.100 arrested Hannah
00:28:18.720 Dugan,
00:28:19.120 a county judge
00:28:19.740 in Milwaukee,
00:28:20.560 for allegedly
00:28:21.520 helping an
00:28:22.220 illegal alien
00:28:22.780 avoid arrest
00:28:23.540 by ICE.
00:28:24.700 No one is
00:28:25.720 above the
00:28:26.480 law.
00:28:27.980 Somehow,
00:28:28.740 Democrats
00:28:29.260 believe that
00:28:30.680 if they don't
00:28:31.020 like a law,
00:28:32.440 they can just
00:28:33.300 ignore it,
00:28:34.140 they can defy
00:28:34.940 it.
00:28:35.160 By the way,
00:28:35.700 Joe Biden
00:28:36.120 and Kamala
00:28:36.540 Harris did
00:28:37.360 that for four
00:28:37.900 years.
00:28:38.160 They just
00:28:38.460 utterly ignored
00:28:39.180 federal immigration
00:28:39.900 law.
00:28:41.260 And,
00:28:41.920 unfortunately,
00:28:43.660 this attitude
00:28:44.460 of lawlessness.
00:28:45.680 We're not
00:28:46.120 bound by
00:28:46.840 the law.
00:28:47.600 Not only
00:28:47.980 that,
00:28:48.240 we're going
00:28:48.460 to actively
00:28:49.180 fight federal
00:28:49.980 law enforcement
00:28:50.720 who is trying
00:28:51.760 to enforce
00:28:52.440 the law.
00:28:53.520 And what
00:28:54.700 are they
00:28:55.000 doing this
00:28:55.640 for?
00:28:56.000 I mean,
00:28:56.440 Ben,
00:28:56.880 seriously,
00:28:57.320 explain to
00:28:57.980 me.
00:28:58.880 Help me
00:28:59.580 get in
00:29:00.140 the head
00:29:00.700 of,
00:29:01.900 let's say,
00:29:02.320 this New
00:29:02.840 Mexico judge.
00:29:03.640 New Mexico
00:29:04.020 judge,
00:29:05.400 you and
00:29:05.860 your wife
00:29:06.340 say,
00:29:06.740 hey,
00:29:06.980 we got
00:29:07.280 some gang
00:29:07.800 members from
00:29:08.300 Venezuela.
00:29:09.280 They're
00:29:09.680 covered in
00:29:10.200 tattoos.
00:29:11.060 They've got
00:29:11.420 a necklace
00:29:12.460 that says
00:29:12.980 kill.
00:29:14.460 They have
00:29:15.840 cell phones
00:29:16.880 with pictures
00:29:17.880 of people
00:29:18.580 with their
00:29:18.880 heads cut
00:29:19.420 off.
00:29:20.580 Let's bring
00:29:21.200 them to
00:29:21.400 my house.
00:29:24.000 Explain to
00:29:25.580 me that
00:29:25.860 thought process.
00:29:26.620 My brain
00:29:27.360 is not
00:29:27.720 nimble enough
00:29:28.300 to get
00:29:28.540 around this.
00:29:29.060 See,
00:29:29.220 this is where
00:29:29.720 I think
00:29:30.120 to myself,
00:29:30.700 I'm like,
00:29:31.060 all right,
00:29:31.340 well,
00:29:31.500 then there's
00:29:31.880 got to be
00:29:32.340 some sort
00:29:32.800 of incentive
00:29:33.320 that is
00:29:33.880 connecting
00:29:34.360 them.
00:29:34.800 There's got
00:29:35.140 to be
00:29:35.380 something to
00:29:36.080 gain here
00:29:36.720 personally
00:29:37.360 because I
00:29:38.360 can't just
00:29:38.860 imagine this
00:29:39.560 judge is just
00:29:40.220 like,
00:29:40.540 yeah,
00:29:40.760 genuinely want
00:29:41.780 to hang
00:29:42.060 out with
00:29:42.360 people that
00:29:42.840 are celebrating
00:29:43.840 or involved
00:29:44.400 in this
00:29:44.760 type of
00:29:45.120 criminal
00:29:45.320 activity,
00:29:45.800 including,
00:29:46.620 as you
00:29:48.040 described it,
00:29:49.340 beheadings.
00:29:50.600 Yeah,
00:29:50.760 look,
00:29:51.400 you and I
00:29:51.900 watch Breaking
00:29:52.520 Bad.
00:29:53.180 I don't know
00:29:54.080 if this is a
00:29:54.700 judge that's
00:29:55.580 on the take,
00:29:56.260 if there's
00:29:56.620 corruption,
00:29:57.220 if he's been
00:29:57.580 paid by the
00:29:58.220 gang.
00:29:58.700 I don't know
00:29:59.140 if he's
00:29:59.460 ideological and
00:30:01.160 stupid or
00:30:03.060 corrupt or
00:30:04.480 what.
00:30:05.180 There's clearly
00:30:05.800 more to this
00:30:07.040 story we will
00:30:07.860 learn,
00:30:08.360 but the
00:30:09.300 facts on
00:30:09.840 the face
00:30:10.260 of it
00:30:10.640 are
00:30:11.520 astonishing
00:30:12.200 and what's
00:30:13.100 amazing,
00:30:14.260 I don't
00:30:14.980 know of
00:30:15.880 a single
00:30:16.420 Democrat
00:30:16.920 elected
00:30:17.340 official who's
00:30:18.040 denounced
00:30:18.460 this conduct
00:30:19.060 by the
00:30:19.420 judges.
00:30:20.140 Instead,
00:30:20.820 what they're
00:30:21.200 saying is
00:30:21.800 they're
00:30:22.060 rushing to
00:30:23.520 defend
00:30:24.260 these judges
00:30:25.600 that are
00:30:25.940 brazenly,
00:30:26.980 brazenly
00:30:27.840 defying the
00:30:28.440 law.
00:30:29.300 Yeah,
00:30:29.520 it truly is
00:30:30.060 incredible.
00:30:30.860 Don't forget
00:30:31.360 we do this
00:30:31.780 show Monday,
00:30:32.480 Wednesday,
00:30:32.860 and Friday.

00:30:38.320 show,
00:30:38.720 please,
00:30:39.140 because this
00:30:39.740 is exactly
00:30:40.300 why we do
00:30:40.660 it to get
00:30:41.000 out this
00:30:41.360 type of
00:30:41.760 information.
00:30:42.900 And then,
00:30:43.220 Senator,
00:30:43.420 I will see
00:30:43.900 you back
00:30:44.580 here on
