00:00:00.000 This is an iHeart Podcast.
00:00:02.640 Guaranteed human.
00:00:05.380 Good Monday morning.
00:00:06.560 It's nice to have you with us.
00:00:07.700 It's Verdict with Senator Ted Cruz.
00:00:09.380 Ben Ferguson with you as always.
00:00:11.000 And Senator, we've got a lot to cover, including a whistleblower who has come forward revealing
00:00:15.580 how they were, quote, silenced and threatened to go along on the Russia hoax.
00:00:21.160 This, another bombshell in the unraveling of the deep state.
00:00:25.520 Well, every day it seems new news is breaking about how the Obama administration deliberately
00:00:31.560 concocted the Russia hoax to go after President Donald Trump and how they lied, how they knew
00:00:37.200 they were lying.
00:00:37.960 We now have evidence that the intelligence community for months had concluded that Russia
00:00:42.120 was not attempting to hack the election, and yet they deliberately lied for political purposes.
00:00:46.620 We've now had the story break that Hillary Clinton personally approved the Russia hoax
00:00:51.660 as a way to distract from her own email scandal.
00:00:54.460 And now the latest, a whistleblower from within the Obama intelligence community tried, tried
00:00:59.960 to blow the whistle, tried to stop, tried to say, this is a lie.
00:01:04.200 And the whistleblower was silenced.
00:01:06.060 The whistleblower was ignored.
00:01:07.620 And we now have damning emails laying out the record.
00:01:10.640 We're going to tell you all about that.
00:01:12.180 We're also going to tell you about Kamala Harris.
00:01:14.260 It turns out, no, she was not kidnapped by space aliens.
00:01:17.140 No, she did not go into witness protection.
00:01:19.620 She did the next best thing, which is she went on Stephen Colbert's show.
00:01:22.380 And the four people watching her, they found out that Kamala has a new book.
00:01:27.780 The people of California, she's not going to subject herself on them by running for governor.
00:01:32.060 Instead, she's trying to sell a book.
00:01:34.080 And, of course, she's with Colbert.
00:01:36.080 We're going to tell you just how pitiful that was.
00:01:38.180 We're going to cover both of those on today's pod.
00:01:40.320 I want to talk to you real quick, though, about something that's really cool, and that
00:01:43.180 is, how would you like to make a difference standing up for what you believe in with something
00:01:48.760 you use every day, your cell phone?
00:01:51.560 I know there's a bunch of choices out there for your cell phone company, but there is one
00:01:56.360 that boldly stands in the gap for every American that believes that freedom is worth fighting
00:02:01.020 for.
00:02:01.720 And that company is Patriot Mobile.
00:02:03.840 Now, I want to give you a free month of service when you switch.
00:02:06.560 I'm going to tell you about that in a moment.
00:02:07.780 But what really is amazing about Patriot Mobile is this.
00:02:11.340 Not only do they outgain the competition when it comes to technology, but also with coverage.
00:02:16.940 Patriot Mobile is one of the only carriers in the nation with access to all three major
00:02:23.360 U.S. networks.
00:02:24.340 What does that mean for you?
00:02:25.420 Amazing nationwide coverage, along with the ability to have multiple phone numbers on different
00:02:30.880 networks on a single smartphone.
00:02:33.860 It's a game changer.
00:02:34.980 They also offer unlimited data plans, mobile hotspots, international roaming, internet backup,
00:02:42.120 and so much more.
00:02:43.720 Switching is easier than ever.
00:02:46.340 You can activate minutes from the comfort of your home, keep your same number you've got
00:02:49.880 now, keep your phone you've got, or upgrade to a new one.
00:02:53.220 So why not switch?
00:02:55.080 Because when you pay your bill, that's where the magic happens.
00:02:58.000 They take about 5% of your bill every month at no extra cost to you.
00:03:01.540 And they give it back to organizations that support our First and our Second Amendment
00:03:05.640 rights, the rights of unborn babies.
00:03:08.380 And they also stand with our military, our veterans, and our wounded warriors.
00:03:12.560 So with every call you make, you're making a difference.
00:03:15.280 So stop giving your money to companies that hate your values.
00:03:18.740 Go to patriotmobile.com slash verdict.
00:03:21.540 That's patriotmobile.com slash verdict or 972patriot.
00:03:27.960 And use the promo code VERDICT for a free month of service.
00:03:31.700 That's promo code VERDICT for a free month of service.
00:03:34.680 Patriotmobile.com slash verdict or call 972patriot.
00:03:38.740 All right.
00:03:39.340 So let's get into this big story number one center and talk about this whistleblower and
00:03:44.220 what we've now learned, this whistleblower revealing, they were apparently threatened
00:03:49.380 to go along with the Barack Obama-directed Russia hoax.
00:03:54.480 Well, here's what Tulsi Gabbard tweeted out to the world.
00:03:57.980 Quote, new.
00:03:59.780 Whistleblower reveals how they were threatened by a supervisor to go along with the Obama-directed
00:04:05.040 Russia hoax intelligence assessment.
00:04:07.240 Even though they knew it was not credible or accurate, the whistleblower refused.
00:04:14.740 Yesterday, we released the whistleblower's firsthand account of what happened in the
00:04:19.940 crafting of the January 2017 intelligence assessment, their years-long effort to expose
00:04:26.740 the egregious manipulation and manufacturing of intelligence carried out at the highest levels
00:04:32.080 of government and the IC detailed in our previous releases, and how they were repeatedly ignored.
00:04:39.900 Thank you to this courageous whistleblower and others who are coming forward now, putting
00:04:45.280 their own well-being on the line to defend our democratic republic, ensure the American
00:04:50.920 people know the truth, and hold those responsible accountable.
00:04:55.400 And then, read the whistleblower's explosive story with emails here.
00:04:59.860 And she links to the entire story.
00:05:02.600 We're going to go through it right now, but it is, this is damning, and there is a reason
00:05:09.540 why, under Joe Biden, they did everything they could to cover it up.
00:05:13.180 Here's what the whistleblower says.
00:05:15.400 Quote, for the new 2017 ICA, I was directed by blank to focus on Russian attempts to access
00:05:24.020 U.S. election-related infrastructure.
00:05:26.040 IC reporting suggested many Russia-attributed IP addresses were making connection attempts
00:05:32.320 that the IC could not explain the purpose of.
00:05:35.640 Later, when presenting, it's blocked out who, with our findings, blocked out person, directed
00:05:41.960 us to abandon any further study of the subject, saying, quote, it's something else.
00:05:48.280 In light of later development in open-source reporting, I came to have concerns about this
00:05:53.800 Russia-attributed cyber activity and the abrupt dismissal of the study effort.
00:05:59.880 In addition, I noted other nations' efforts to influence the 2016 presidential election,
00:06:06.020 but this critical context was omitted from the 2017 ICA.
00:06:11.140 During conversion of the 2017 ICA to classified and unclassified versions, key context was not
00:06:20.020 included, and I was pressured to alter my views on the 2017 ICA's key judgments with the expressed
00:06:29.260 intent by, and the name is blacked out, that my concurrence was sought to enable, name blacked
00:06:35.640 out, to sway the views of the Defense Intelligence Agency.
00:06:40.720 The narrative goes on.
00:06:42.020 Between 2016 and 2022, through firsthand involvement, I became aware of multiple events that may have
00:06:49.340 represented the use or attempted use of national security authorities to influence domestic
00:06:54.320 politics.
00:06:55.340 I believe some of these events may have influenced or been intended to influence congressional and
00:07:00.840 public perceptions of the 2016 presidential election, and I am concerned others may represent
00:07:06.820 attempts to obstruct lawful oversight, and it continues with this, quote,
00:07:13.740 through my role in leading production of the prior 2016 ICA, I also knew that as recently as
00:07:20.460 September of 2016, other elements of the intelligence community had pushed back during analytic
00:07:26.120 coordination on warnings of Russian intent to influence the 2016 presidential election, stating
00:07:32.780 that such a judgment would be misleading. Misleading is underlined. Yet, by January, at least one of the
00:07:41.560 intelligence community elements that had pushed back, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, had seemingly
00:07:46.460 altered its position and embraced a judgment of Russian intent to influence the election, seemingly
00:07:54.120 without any new data other than the election's unexpected result and public speculation that
00:08:02.700 Russia had hacked the vote, a scenario that we in the IC judged, simply did not occur.
00:08:11.160 As for the 2017 ICA's judgment of a decisive Russian preference for then-candidate Donald Trump,
00:08:18.440 I could not concur in good conscience based on information available and my professional analytic judgment.
00:08:26.320 I did not rule the possibility out and was willing to be convinced, but I was not offered access to any of the supposedly dispositive reporting when I was asked to review it as a one-time read for almost anything relevant was normally provided.
00:08:46.400 You've dealt with a lot of whistleblowers in your day, and there's a lot of people come forward.
00:08:52.080 When I was reading this, it was tweeted out by Tulsi, and then, yeah, you can see the redactions here, obviously, but this actually, to me, seems like it's incredibly damning and also just completely on par with the rest of the story we've been told about the Russia hoax.
00:09:09.700 It's like, yeah, this matches up. This makes sense.
00:09:12.860 Look, it is clear that this was a lie.
00:09:17.640 It is clear that Barack Obama and the entire intelligence community who peddled it to the American people, they knew it was a lie.
00:09:27.460 What we now know is that they had whistleblowers within the intelligence community yelling from the mountaintops, this is a lie, this is a lie, this is a lie.
00:09:36.780 And the political actors who made the decision to corrupt our law enforcement and intelligence operations did not care about the truth.
00:09:48.640 They were happy to lie.
00:09:50.340 They were happy to turn the machinery of the federal government against the newly elected president.
00:09:55.000 They wanted the newly elected president to fail.
00:09:58.400 And what they were attempting was quite literally a coup.
00:10:02.740 It was to remove the president, the American people had just elected.
00:10:07.460 I understand that they're of a different party.
00:10:09.360 I understand that they didn't vote for Donald Trump.
00:10:12.000 But nobody in our government has the right to say just because the person I don't like got elected president,
00:10:19.140 I'm going to pervert the justice system to attack them with lies to try to remove them.
00:10:25.700 That is profoundly corrupt, and I think it is also quite likely illegal.
00:10:31.840 I'm very glad that Pam Bondi and the Department of Justice have created a strike force to investigate this because the pattern of criminality, of knowing criminality,
00:10:40.680 and we talked about in last week's pod how the George Soros Foundation did this very explicitly according to emails that were released,
00:10:49.980 previously classified emails that were released, did it very explicitly in concert with Hillary Clinton.
00:10:55.940 She personally approved it in the middle of the campaign, and they knew it was just a political lie because she was concerned about the criticism she was getting for her email scandal,
00:11:06.060 and so they decided to concoct this lie to try to distract people.
00:11:09.580 And sadly, the FBI happily went along, the New York Times happily went along, the Washington Post happily went along,
00:11:17.680 and every one of those supposedly impartial and unbiased institutions has been demonstrated to have been profoundly corrupted.
00:11:26.340 What is your gut on what happens now?
00:11:30.440 Well, and I say this because, look, it's obvious that the, I think, Donald Trump and his team and those, the Department of Justice, etc., Tulsi, the list goes on and on,
00:11:41.760 they obviously are well read in on this.
00:11:44.620 I doubt this whistleblower just came forward in the last day or two.
00:11:49.180 They're pretty well read in on where the ball is going on this one.
00:11:53.060 Do you believe this is a pretty good indicator of what you can expect moving forward, that this may genuinely be the tip of the iceberg?
00:12:00.440 Yeah, I think more is coming, and what I've urged, what I've urged Tulsi, what I've urged John Ratcliffe and Pam Bondi and Kash Patel is engage in radical transparency.
00:12:12.260 Let it all come out.
00:12:13.180 Let it all be public.
00:12:14.220 I've also urged them to do the same thing with COVID and Dr. Fauci and the government's involvement in funding research at the Wuhan lab and what they knowingly covered up.
00:12:26.100 I think there was similarly a very deliberate cover-up there, and I expect we're going to get more direct evidence of that in the coming weeks.
00:12:34.240 I'm glad for that transparency.
00:12:35.840 I think it is owed to the American people.
00:12:37.940 It's the right thing to do, and it speaks volumes that when Democrats were in charge, they had zero interest in anyone knowing what actually happened.
00:12:46.280 Final question on this one, when you look at when this comes out, and there's so many questions now, if this whistleblower is telling the truth, I have no reason to believe they're not, but is this also going to encourage others to come forward, too?
00:13:01.160 I mean, a lot of times you'll see the dominoes come out.
00:13:03.920 Look, I hope so, and Tulsi's tweet references other whistleblowers coming forward, so there may be others as well.
00:13:11.540 They may have other whistleblower reports.
00:13:13.340 It's possible they've been rolling these out one every other day or so, and so there may be more that is coming, but if someone is inside, saw what is happening, and was outraged, this is indicating it's a time where people are interested in knowing the truth.
00:13:28.120 That's a good sign, so I hope it encourages anyone with knowledge of criminal conduct, with knowledge of lies that were pushed by the Obama administration and the Russia hoax to come forward and make that information public.
00:13:42.180 Canadian women are looking for more, more out of themselves, their businesses, their elected leaders, and the world around them.
00:13:48.500 And that's why we're thrilled to introduce the Honest Talk podcast.

00:13:53.380 And I'm Catherine Clark.
00:13:54.380 And in this podcast, we interview Canada's most inspiring women.

00:14:07.400 Listen to the Honest Talk podcast on iHeartRadio or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
00:14:13.060 You talk about corruption, by the way.
00:14:15.100 Kamala Harris now.
00:14:16.860 She's coming out on her book tour.
00:14:18.840 Not a joke.
00:14:19.520 She kicked it off and joined The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to do it.
00:14:22.900 Harris coming out, swinging, blasting the SCOTUS for forgetting what, quote, democracy and the rule of law is, quote, unquote, supposed to be.
00:14:32.760 She also talked about her new book and the, quote, horrors of January 6th on The Late Show with Colbert as well.
00:14:39.760 I mean, this is one of those interviews.
00:14:41.100 A little bit from her announcement video on her new book because I have to say, it's almost like a Saturday Night Live skit.
00:14:47.980 Give it a play.
00:14:49.340 Yeah, it is.
00:14:49.840 This is her real announcement of her real book launch.
00:14:52.380 Just over a year ago, I launched my campaign for president of the United States, 107 days, traveling the country, fighting for our future, the shortest presidential campaign in modern history.
00:15:06.300 It was intense, high stakes, and deeply personal for me and for so many of you.
00:15:13.220 Since leaving office, I've spent a lot of time reflecting on those days, talking with my team, my family, my friends, and pulling my thoughts together.
00:15:24.500 In essence, writing a journal that is this book, 107 days.
00:15:30.660 With candor and reflection, I've written a behind-the-scenes account of that journey.
00:15:35.980 I believe there's value in sharing what I saw, what I learned, and what I know it will take to move forward.
00:15:45.200 In writing this book, one truth kept coming back to me.
00:15:49.560 Sometimes, the fight takes a while.
00:15:53.040 But I remain full of hope.
00:15:55.540 And I remain clear-eyed.
00:15:57.820 I will never stop fighting to make our country reflect the very best of its ideals.
00:16:03.740 Always on behalf of the people.
00:16:07.600 So thank you for being in this fight with me.
00:16:10.280 I am forever grateful.
00:16:11.960 And I cannot wait for you to read this.
00:16:14.800 And I'll see you out there.
00:16:16.220 Take care.
00:16:17.900 I mean, it is Saturday Night Live worthy.
00:16:20.460 It's also one of the funniest things ever because she's basically saying,
00:16:23.780 Oh, by the way, I'm not going to run for governor in California.
00:16:26.500 That came up as well.
00:16:27.980 And it's like, here's my book on how bad my campaign sucked, but I'll rewrite the history on that.
00:16:32.880 And, oh, by the way, I'm basically saying I'm probably going to run again.
00:16:36.140 Well, you know, the script that she's reading there, that's clearly a script she's reading from a teleprompter.
00:16:41.900 And I just sort of love, with candor and reflection, a behind-the-scenes tale.
00:16:49.040 And, look, it's so clearly written by a book publicist.
00:16:51.740 The chances that there is anything resembling candor or reflection in this book are 0.0%.
00:16:59.020 There is not.
00:17:00.500 This is a sanitized, whitewashed version of how, you know, the good ship lollipop was derailed by evil Donald J. Trump, by evil voters.
00:17:15.880 Oh, those voters.
00:17:17.880 And I've got to say, it's interesting how little candor and reflection Kamala has.
00:17:25.520 I want you to listen to her with Stephen Colbert.
00:17:28.300 And if there is an even less gracious, kind, balanced, normal person on TV than Stephen Colbert, I don't know who that is.
00:17:39.480 This is one partisan shrill to another, but listen to how neither one of them has learned anything from the 2024 election.
00:17:48.500 Give a listen.
00:17:49.400 This is a time for people to, you know, I mean, look, we designed our democracy with three independent, co-equal branches of government.
00:17:59.260 I mean, when you see that the president of the United States is trying to get rid of the Department of Education, and Congress has the role and responsibility to stand in the way of that, and they're just sitting on their hands and then they go on recess because they don't want to deal with transparency?
00:18:15.820 And the Supreme Court says that he can ignore a law that established it.
00:18:21.920 Yeah, but the Supreme Court, we knew what they were doing.
00:18:24.900 Remember, I talked about it in 107 days.
00:18:27.580 I don't put that in the book, by the way.
00:18:30.400 This is an exclusive.
00:18:31.780 This is an exclusive for the Stephen Colbert show.
00:18:35.680 But the Supreme Court basically gave whoever would be president, when I was in the campaign, I talked about, immunity.
00:18:45.460 Immunity.
00:18:46.880 We talked about that.
00:18:48.620 So we're not surprised what the Supreme Court is doing.
00:18:51.620 And God thank those members of the court who write brilliant dissents and remind us of what the democracy and the rule of law is supposed to be.
00:19:03.600 You know?
00:19:06.140 You hear that, and it's like, what are you even talking about?
00:19:09.640 There's so much in what she's saying that is incoherent and wrong.
00:19:13.700 Let's start off where she's saying, okay, the president is trying to abolish the Department of Education and Congress is refusing to do its jobs.
00:19:25.440 No, we actually agree with abolishing the Department of Education.
00:19:29.880 This was something that the president campaigned on.
00:19:32.180 And the reason the American people agree with abolishing the Federal Department of Education is not because education doesn't matter, but precisely the opposite.
00:19:40.560 Because it matters so much that people are ticked off that a bunch of left-wing woke bureaucrats that you and Joe Biden appointed tried to take over schools, tried to indoctrinate kids, tried to push Marxist ideology in our children,
00:19:52.460 and tried to convince them that boys were girls and girls were boys, and tried to let boys compete in girls sports, and forced this on schools.
00:20:00.500 And the red tape and the bureaucracy and the waste and the ideology from the Department of Education is precisely why President Trump is working to abolish it.
00:20:11.380 And I've actually had Democrat senators say to me very much what Kamala does.
00:20:15.820 Well, we're just – the Senate is irrelevant because you're not stopping this.
00:20:20.000 It's like, no, the Senate is relevant.
00:20:22.120 In fact, we're voting on it.
00:20:23.520 I had one senator say this to me when we voted to shut down NPR and PBS.
00:20:28.620 She was like, how can you be doing this?
00:20:30.580 The Senate's not doing our job.
00:20:31.960 I'm like, no, we're precisely doing our job.
00:20:34.380 The American people are not interested in spending billions of dollars to fund left-wing propaganda.
00:20:40.360 The irony is Kamala frames what she's saying as a defense of democracy.
00:20:45.420 What she's mad at is democracy.
00:20:47.520 What she's mad at is the American people elected Donald Trump.
00:20:51.140 What she's mad at is the American people elected a Republican House.
00:20:54.420 What she's mad at is the American people elected a Republican Senate.
00:20:57.800 And she's really, really mad that President Trump and the Republican Senate and the Republican House are doing what they said they would do.
00:21:05.760 In other words, they are honoring and respecting democracy by carrying out the campaign promises they told the American people.
00:21:12.180 And that infuriates them.
00:21:14.900 And the irony of her claiming that she believes in democracy.
00:21:20.360 This was an administration, the Biden-Harris administration, that repeatedly indicted her political opponent, Donald Trump.
00:21:29.620 This was an administration Democrats across the country tried to remove Trump's name from the ballot because nothing says protecting democracy like stopping the voters from voting for your opponent.
00:21:40.960 This is an administration Kamala Harris has demonstrated utter and complete contempt for democracy.
00:21:47.360 And so when she says, well, gosh, we must defend democracy, what she means is we need radical left-wing policies.
00:21:57.360 And if the voters don't like them, to hell with the voters, we want them anyway.
00:22:04.360 That's what she's saying.
00:22:05.600 And by the way, when she's denouncing the courts, what she's really saying is she wants radical unelected judges to ignore the will of the voters, to ignore democracy,
00:22:15.200 and to force her very unpopular policies on the American people anyway, doing things like she doesn't want illegal immigrants,
00:22:24.440 Venezuelan gang members, murderers and rapists and child molesters.
00:22:28.560 She doesn't want them arrested.
00:22:30.100 She doesn't want them deported.
00:22:31.440 And she wants these radical judges that she was responsible, along with Joe Biden for appointing, to stand up and say, we don't care what the American people voted for.
00:22:41.800 We are going to decree release more illegal immigrants into your neighborhood because that's who the Democrat Party represents today.
00:22:50.240 By the way, you mentioned represent the Democratic Party.
00:22:53.800 Kamala Harris was asked a question by Stephen Colbert, and it's one that went viral.
00:22:58.340 It is the biggest question that's being asked in the political world right now.
00:23:03.560 Who is in charge of the Democratic Party?
00:23:06.820 And I want you to hear this word salad and get your take on it.
00:23:10.840 Take a listen.
00:23:12.440 Who's leading the Democratic Party?
00:23:14.660 I'm just curious.
00:23:15.540 There are lots of leaders.
00:23:16.980 And there's generally a leader of the Democratic Party.
00:23:20.040 You know, like, oh, that's the leader of the Democratic Party.
00:23:22.020 Who comes to mind?
00:23:23.480 I think there are a lot of I'm not going to go through names because then I'm going to leave somebody out.
00:23:28.340 And then I'm going to hear about it.
00:23:29.680 But let me just let me say this.
00:23:32.200 I think it is a mistake for us who want to figure out how to get out and through this and get out of it to put it on the shoulders of any one person.
00:23:46.220 It's really on all of our shoulders.
00:23:48.880 It really is.
00:23:52.520 All of our shoulders.
00:23:53.880 It's not a great answer, is it?
00:23:56.340 Well, look, look, I actually have a little bit of sympathy for her because there's no way to answer that.
00:24:00.940 The real answer is there is no leader of the Democrat Party.
00:24:03.700 They are leaderless.
00:24:04.820 They are rudderless.
00:24:05.680 They are running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
00:24:08.400 Look, who would you say?
00:24:09.540 You could say Chuck Schumer, but Chuck Schumer is not leading anything.
00:24:13.820 He's utterly terrified of AOC.
00:24:16.400 Whatever AOC and the squad demands, that's what Schumer does.
00:24:19.000 So she's not going to say Chuck Schumer because the audience would laugh if she said Chuck Schumer.
00:24:22.920 They'd laugh if she said Akeem Jeffries.
00:24:25.260 Most of them would say, who's that?
00:24:26.940 Like he's not leading anything.
00:24:28.260 He's just in the House.
00:24:29.780 And in both the Senate and House, Schumer and Jeffries are essentially just embodying rage and hatred to Donald Trump.
00:24:37.340 They don't have an agenda beyond open borders and lawlessness and hatred of Donald Trump.
00:24:42.480 That's the entirety of the Democrat Party.
00:24:44.880 And then beyond that, you've got all their ambitious governors.
00:24:48.060 You know, Gavin Newsom is desperately trying to be super liberal and super moderate and whatever you want and slick and all around.
00:24:53.700 And suddenly he knows boys aren't girls until tomorrow and then boys are girls.
00:24:57.920 But she can't say him either.
00:25:00.400 And so there is no answer she can give because this is a rudderless party.
00:25:04.720 And to the extent there is a leader, it is the pro-Hamas contingent.
00:25:09.500 It is AOC.
00:25:10.760 It is Ilhan Omar.
00:25:11.760 It is the extreme left-wing squad that is driving the rest of the party and that everyone else in the party is terrified of.
00:25:22.980 Yeah, it's amazing.
00:25:24.440 It is actually fun for ones to watch.
00:25:27.640 The Democratic Party from top to bottom being just complete and utter disarray.
00:25:34.680 Because let's be honest.
00:25:35.860 You've got to play one more clip.
00:25:37.820 You've got to play the clip when Colbert asked if she was running for governor.
00:25:41.760 Yeah, this is amazing.
00:25:43.100 Take a listen.
00:25:44.620 Yesterday you made an announcement that you're not running for the governor of California.
00:25:48.340 Correct.
00:25:48.820 You said you're going to sit this one out.
00:25:51.720 Why are you sitting this out?
00:25:52.620 Are you saving yourself for a different office that might be?
00:25:55.180 No, no, no.
00:25:56.960 Obviously people project onto you their hopes and dreams.
00:25:59.640 And honestly, it's more perhaps basic than that.
00:26:04.420 I am, listen, I am a devout public servant.
00:26:08.360 I have spent my entire career in service of the people.
00:26:12.900 But to be very candid with you, I had to defend my decision to become a prosecutor with my family.
00:26:19.620 Is why is it then when we think we want to improve a system or change it that we're always on the outside on bended knee or trying to break down the door?
00:26:28.060 Shouldn't we also be inside the system?
00:26:30.500 And that has been my career.
00:26:31.780 Recently, I made the decision that I just, for now, I don't want to go back in the system.
00:26:37.580 I think it's broken.
00:26:39.480 I think it's broken.
00:26:40.940 You can't make that up either.
00:26:42.860 But you know what's broken about it.
00:26:45.100 What is that?
00:26:47.040 That she lost.
00:26:48.960 That's her whole definition of whether the system is working or it's broken.
00:26:53.620 It is broken because the American people voted for Donald Trump and not for Kamala Harris.
00:26:57.780 It is broken because the American people voted for a Republican Senate and not a Democrat Senate.
00:27:02.420 It is broken in her view because the American people voted for a Republican House and not a Democrat House.
00:27:07.960 In her view, democracy, the system only works when she and other left-wing lunatics are in power.
00:27:16.300 That's how she defines whether it's working or whether it's broken.
00:27:20.840 It is purely, it is 100% about power.
00:27:25.300 And look, part of why, to be honest, you and I, we don't listen to Stephen Colbert, and we very rarely listen to Kamala Harris.
00:27:34.580 The reason why we're playing this exchange is because it really does show that there's not a moment of reflection,
00:27:42.540 you know, what she had in her book promo about candor and whatever.
00:27:45.980 There's none of that.
00:27:46.800 She continues four years of a disastrous agenda.
00:27:54.320 Open borders, 12 million illegal immigrants, the worst illegal immigration in our nation's history.
00:27:58.820 She takes no responsibility for that, doesn't acknowledge that.
00:28:02.360 Abandoning all of our friends and allies, going from peace and prosperity to two simultaneous wars across the globe.
00:28:07.780 She takes no responsibility for that.
00:28:09.980 The Democrat Party becoming rabidly anti-Semitic, her funders funding violent anti-Semitic riots on college campuses.
00:28:18.840 She takes no responsibility for that.
00:28:21.200 There's not at all an acknowledgement of, gosh, people voted for Donald Trump in significant part because they were really,
00:28:32.120 really, really, really unhappy with the radical policies that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris put in place.
00:28:39.680 No acknowledgement of that at all.
00:28:41.600 And their view, the system is broken.
00:28:44.060 Why?
00:28:45.040 Because the democracy is functioning.
00:28:46.940 To her mind, if the voters can vote her out, the system is broken.
00:28:52.520 That is the essence of the contempt that today's Democrat Party has for big D democracy.
