00:00:00.000 Hi, thank you for taking my question. This one's for the Premier. Premier, there are reports and

00:00:05.220 people have told us that Jeff Rath has been kicked out of the UCP party. Can you confirm this? And if

00:00:10.680 so, can you offer any insight as to why? The executive director of our party has the ability

00:00:17.280 to cancel memberships, and he informed our party's board of directors yesterday that he

00:00:24.000 believed that there were multiple instances of a breach of the code of

00:00:30.060 conduct that we require of our members and that it was his decision to pull the

00:00:37.440 membership and cancel his AGM registration. And I'm supportive of that.

00:00:45.300 Will there be other individuals removed from the party? There's been

00:00:51.420 other people calling for a leadership review of you and kind of leading that charge is there

00:00:57.200 going to be other people well let's be clear about the individual that we're talking about i mean he's

00:01:03.680 never supported me you can go back and look at he never supported me during the leadership he never

00:01:07.740 supported me at my time at office and he certainly doesn't support me now um and that's that's that's

00:01:12.740 irrelevant what is relevant is that he has said publicly things like uh he wants to come to the

00:01:19.420 AGM to turn the UCP into an independence party. And we are not an independence party. And somebody

00:01:25.080 whose objective and mission is to turn us into something we are not, is not following the

00:01:30.680 objective of our party. Our objective of the party is to get reelected and to make sure that we're

00:01:35.040 focused on doing that. And so that is my understanding of the reason why Dustin Van

00:01:39.700 Boot, after a lot of evidence and compilation, ultimately made the decision to pull his membership.
