00:00:00.000 I've never really paid close attention to the NBA or WNBA. I mean, watching basketball
00:00:04.780 has never really been my thing. I'm more of an NFL guy. And I certainly hadn't tracked the
00:00:08.840 growth of the WNBA, which is the women's league for those who don't watch that, as a professional
00:00:14.000 league. Though I have peripherally noted they've been getting more and more popular over the years
00:00:18.080 and they have some colorful sports personalities emerging from within there. Suddenly though,
00:00:22.680 I'm watching the WNBA like a hawk because it's become ground zero in the battleground between
00:00:27.660 extreme trans activists and common sense i mean basketball is a physical sport you know it's
00:00:34.220 involving direct contact between participants that often becomes rough and the size and strength of
00:00:39.340 the athletes are critical components for the competitiveness the smaller players they're going
00:00:43.580 to get shoved aside or the gameplay will literally go over their heads which is why players at the
00:00:48.380 professional level are all large the statistics kept in professional leagues help illustrate the 0.96
00:00:54.060 the vast physiological differences between male and female players. 0.99
00:00:57.880 The average height of a player in the NBA is 6'7",
00:01:01.080 and the average weight of one of those players is 216 pounds. 0.99
00:01:04.680 Now compare with the Women's League, the average height of a player there is 6'1", 1.00
00:01:08.560 and the average weight is 170 pounds.
00:01:10.940 The difference is pretty stark. 0.88
00:01:12.660 Only in the imaginary utopia of trans ideology can be conceived
00:01:16.000 that physiological men wouldn't have a distinct advantage when playing in a woman's league,
00:01:20.400 yet that's exactly the narrative trans activists are putting out there.
00:01:23.520 could you imagine a game where even three men of nba proportions were playing on a team within the
00:01:28.800 wnba the game wouldn't even be close and the possibility of a woman being seriously injured
00:01:33.960 would be actually quite high all a man has to do these days though to be considered a woman by
00:01:37.960 trans activists is to state that he's a woman there's no need for surgery treatments or even
00:01:42.560 shaving off a beard for that matter if a person identifies as a woman their declaration is to be
00:01:48.480 considered inviolate despite the biological reality. The follow the science crowd really 0.94
00:01:53.840 falls off the rails when it comes to this issue.
