Summary

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) is one of the best options to help mitigate climate change. It is much cheaper and more reliable than traditional fossil fuels like coal and oil. But extremists like David Suzuki and others like Justin Trudeau want to shut it out of the market.

00:00:00.720 Speaking of self-serving jerks, let's look at the Suzuki Foundation.
00:00:04.600 Now, they're taking to the airwaves, it says, to tell the public that the liquefied natural gas industry is bad.
00:00:11.160 You know, see, this is why we need independent media.
00:00:13.980 We need to report and counter the baloney that comes out of nutcases like David Suzuki and his gross foundation.
00:00:21.820 You know, the world is burning a lot of high emission fuel.
00:00:25.460 Most of the world's burning it, whether it's wood or coal or animal dung.
00:00:30.940 A lot of the developing world, they're using whatever they have to.
00:00:34.520 Liquefied natural gas is one of the best developments to help mitigate and reduce the emissions.
00:00:39.980 No, it doesn't eliminate them, but it reduces them.
00:00:43.060 It's far less damaging than the other forms.
00:00:47.840 But we've got lunatics like the Suzuki Foundations and lunatics like Justin Trudeau
00:00:52.540 who are saying there's no market for liquid natural gas,
00:00:55.560 even though we've got countries asking, begging almost, for the export of things like liquid natural gas.
00:01:03.280 The demand is there, but we're not allowing ourselves to fill it.
00:01:06.880 Other countries are filling it.
00:01:07.940 The United States is making a great deal of money exporting liquid natural gas to places like Germany.
00:01:14.320 Canada, on the other hand, has spent decades,
00:01:16.540 still hasn't got a single drop of LNG off the coast yet.
00:01:22.360 Eventually, it looks like the Kitimat project might come into operation,
00:01:25.660 but I'm at a point where I'll believe it when I see it.
00:01:29.600 In the meantime, while billions are being invested,
00:01:32.980 while years of fighting over the coastal gas link pipeline have gone on,
00:01:37.180 and it's getting close to completion where they can finally get a return on this,
00:01:41.060 where some money will come back, where you can sell some product,
00:01:43.900 or you can invest it back into your country,
00:01:46.380 clowns like the David Suzuki Foundation are saying we should shut down liquid natural gas.
00:01:51.140 These extremists, and they are extremists,
00:01:55.160 want us to economically kick ourselves in the balls,
00:01:58.020 and we can't let them get away with it.
00:02:00.380 We've got to push back.
00:02:02.780 So again, getting self-serving as I like to do,
00:02:05.880 that's why independent media is important,
00:02:07.640 because guys like him need to be countered.
00:02:09.680 They need to be called out.
00:02:10.660 But we need the facts to get out there.
00:02:13.280 Or guys like Trudeau will hide behind extremists like David Suzuki,
00:02:17.460 and we will shut down viable energy alternatives,
00:02:21.260 and it's harming the entire world.
00:02:24.840 Japan needs LNG.
00:02:26.760 India needs LNG.
00:02:28.720 Germany needs LNG.
00:02:31.000 We have it, and we can't get it out of here.
00:02:33.980 As Anita Salisbury, you know, a commenter saying,
00:02:38.640 yeah, told Germany, you know, Trudeau told Germany there was no business,
00:02:41.900 and then he gives, no business for LNG,
00:02:44.340 and he gives 13 billion tax dollars to a Volkswagen plant for batteries.
00:02:50.320 Nobody wanted that.
00:02:52.440 If it was financially viable, you don't need to give them that.
00:02:56.060 It's not that complicated.
00:02:58.320 But we've got an inept government.
00:03:00.380 We've got a corrupted government.
00:03:02.380 And as long as they can control information, we're in a lot of trouble, guys.
00:03:07.040 So we've got to stand up for ourselves, make sure our information is accurate,
00:03:11.480 and, yes, support your independent media outlets, guys.
00:03:15.260 Because, I mean, look at that.
00:03:17.000 You know, Toronto Star and Post Media are looking to merge.
00:03:19.500 I mean, just a horrible thought.
00:03:20.500 Just think of the giant, ugly, evil empire of media that'll become for a short time
00:03:24.120 until they go broke, too.
00:03:24.980 But they're going to pull a lot of subsidies and a lot of influence both ways
00:03:29.380 from the government to that media organization, the Toronto Star.
00:03:34.460 I mean, it's known as the Red Star.
00:03:35.880 Come on, guys.
00:03:36.740 And you want that to dominate the media landscape even more than it already does?
00:03:41.360 Scary stuff, actually.
00:03:42.760 Very distressing.
00:03:44.520 So, I mean, we need to make sure we have the alternatives out there, guys,
00:03:47.880 because if we put it all into one basket with these sorts of media outlets like that.
