00:00:00.000 Hello, I'm Dave Naylor, the news editor of the Western Standard, and here's what we're working on at the moment.
00:00:06.700 A despicable crime has just come to light in Calgary, where thieves have broken into Queen's Park Cemetery in the northeast part of the city
00:00:14.300 and stolen 300 bronze plaques from graves, along with bronze vases containing floral arrangements.
00:00:23.220 A really, really disgusting crime, and police are looking for help in trying to solve it.
00:00:28.680 Our new opinion editor, Nigel Hannaford, weighs in with the controversial comments that Leslyn Lewis made this week about the Nuremberg Code, and it's a very interesting read.
00:00:40.900 The latest victim of anti-colonialism is golf, believe it or not.
00:00:46.680 Apparently, there's a new exhibit, ironically, at the home of golf at St. Andrews, done by that town's university,
00:00:55.360 that says a game of golf was imposed on British colonies, who then raped their natural resources for rubber, which was used to make golf balls at the time.
00:01:06.800 So, golf bad, everybody.
00:01:09.900 Doctors in British Columbia, who were unvaxxed and lost their jobs, are now putting up billboards, pleading with the B.C. government to let them have their jobs back.
00:01:19.900 There's a severe waiting line problem in B.C. and a shortage of doctors and nurses over the province,
00:01:28.180 and these unvaxxed doctors say, hey, we're sitting here, why not let us in?
00:01:33.920 Funding games at a church in Ottawa, which is being occupied by the so-called two-pack protesters.
00:01:40.360 They're affiliated with the Freedom Convoy and have been basically squatting inside this church.
00:01:47.360 Apparently, an eviction notice has been given, and they greeted protesters and the media yesterday with squirt guns.
00:01:54.940 So, that's how they're going to defend themselves with squirt guns.
00:02:00.720 A couple of other things worth mentioning. 0.99
00:02:02.480 You'll remember that crazy racist woman unloading on the poor South Asian ladies in Dallas. 1.00
00:02:10.200 Turns out she has now been arrested and charged with terrorism-related activities. 0.96
00:02:15.620 So, she's in jail on a $10,000 bond, and that's right where she should be. 0.83
00:02:21.180 And we've got a video from Jordan Peterson, everybody's favorite professor,
00:02:26.020 talking about what a narcissist Justin Trudeau is.
00:02:29.980 Hardly surprising.
00:02:30.820 Our Jonathan Bradley is currently working on a story about the Calgary Stampede,
00:02:37.160 changing their iconic cowboy boot logo into the colors of the rainbow.
00:02:43.480 And there's quite a lot of anger online, so we'll tell you all about that.
00:02:48.420 And we're working, there's an entire smorgasbord of stories that we've already got saved
00:02:52.680 for the next couple of days over a nice August weekend.
00:02:56.580 I encourage you to come back several times and then check them all out.
00:03:01.160 They're all Goodreads.
00:03:02.180 So, I wish you all the best and have a great weekend.
00:03:06.080 I'm Dave Naylor.
