00:00:06.500 Last year, Quebec received $14 billion in equalization payments,
00:00:11.480 paid for primarily by taxpayers in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and B.C.
00:00:16.640 Last month, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said that Alberta was no longer agreeable
00:00:22.200 to fund large provinces that can essentially fend for themselves.
00:00:26.700 So, what do you say about making equalization payments?
00:00:32.280 You recently said that you will make no significant changes.
00:00:37.060 And so, beyond the ability of improving building pipelines in the West,
00:00:42.180 why should people in the West vote for you?
00:00:44.860 That's a long list.
00:00:46.720 First of all, we need to enrich all the provinces.
00:00:50.960 And I'm the only one with a plan to do that.
00:00:53.800 Yesterday, I rolled out a plan to unleash.
00:00:56.520 A half a trillion dollars of extra economic growth over the next five years
00:01:02.600 by repealing the anti-energy law, the liberal anti-energy law, C-69,
00:01:08.740 scrapping the energy cap, getting rid of the tanker ban,
00:01:13.020 rapidly approving resource projects within six months,
00:01:17.160 setting up shovel-ready zones that have pre-permitting on pump lines,
00:01:21.980 pipelines, data centers, power stations, and more.
00:01:26.780 I will rapidly approve LNG Quebec in Saguenay,
00:01:33.160 which will mean the Quebecers will become richer and more prosperous.
00:01:38.160 And that in itself will reduce the burden on taxpayers.
00:01:43.640 So, we need to unleash massive economic growth in this country for every single province.
00:01:52.520 Look after the last liberal decade of a declining economy with a smaller GDP than any other,
00:02:00.520 with a smaller GDP growth than any other country in the G7.
