00:00:00.000 A CBC reporter, a long-time reporter who has resigned, saying CBC is losing its journalistic principles.
00:00:07.860 So that's an interesting story. We've kind of noticed that ourselves over the years.
00:00:13.020 So that's a good story by our Mel Rizdin.
00:00:16.720 We've got a story on Preston Manning talking about Tamara Leach and her imprisonment.
00:00:21.400 He calls it unconscionable and says if she'd been attacking a liberal value, she would be lionized by the left.
00:00:31.820 And given the order of Canada and CBC would make documentaries about her.
00:00:36.640 So it's a good read from Preston Manning.
00:00:40.360 Big news this morning, Corey, obviously, is the Bank of Canada rate up a full 1%.
00:00:45.800 Some experts were calling for it to be up 0.75, but this 1% was shocking to even the experts.
00:00:54.500 So that's going to cause more economic chaos for Canadian families. 0.99
00:00:59.440 And Dr. Fauci is back in the news in the States, sort of confirming what we've already figured out ourselves.
00:01:06.080 That COVID vaccines do not halt the spread of the virus.
00:01:10.540 And that's certainly what the stats are showing.
00:01:14.040 So we've got all that and more up there, Corey.
00:01:16.960 People in Ontario, over 18, can now go get their second booster shot.
00:01:22.020 So that's big news for people down there.
00:01:24.820 And we've got some breaking news from the Danielle Smith campaign that will be up shortly.
00:01:30.120 She's proposing if she becomes premier, giving everybody their own health spending account with $300 in it. 0.96
00:01:37.940 And you're able to use that for whatever you want, massages, glasses, that sort of thing.
00:01:45.000 So I think that will resonate well with Albertans, Corey.
00:01:48.820 And that story will be up shortly for you.
00:01:52.040 She's getting creative with the campaign promises anyways and catching people's attention. 1.00
00:01:57.220 You know, it's hard to hear much from the other candidates so far.
00:01:59.940 Yeah, she's dominating the news cycle by far, Corey, leaving everybody else in the dust, in my opinion.
00:02:07.480 You know, they've got to pick up their game and get some announcements of their own out there.
