00:03:09.240 It's the most hated country in the world. People are just reviling them, questioning every move they do,

00:03:15.340 calling them the devil. And yeah, we're not talking about North Korea. I'm not talking about Russia.

00:03:19.740 I'm not talking about China. I'm talking about Sweden.

00:03:23.740 Look at those evil bastards. Oh my God, all smiling and all blonde and all that. 1.00

00:03:28.740 It's absurd, but they really are public enemy number one as far as the establishment world goes out there.

00:03:35.740 And the reason for it is Sweden, you know, besides the annoying IKEA assembly issues they've given us,

00:03:40.740 is they went and dared to buck the trend. They refused to lock down last spring when the plague came about.

00:03:46.740 They refused to legislate masks. They had kids stay in school. They had people going to restaurants.

00:03:52.740 All the way through the entire thing. People went bananas. Oh my God, Sweden. 1.00

00:03:55.740 They're going to kill people in the hundreds of thousands. It didn't happen. 0.74

00:03:58.740 Now, Sweden did screw up. They put infected people into their senior centers. 1.00

00:04:03.740 They had a lot of deaths to start out with. People say, well, look at Norway where they're way below Sweden.

00:04:07.740 But look at Belgium. They were way worse than Sweden. Quebec was worse than Sweden.

00:04:11.740 If we're going to look at the numbers with deaths.

00:04:13.740 And now, Sweden's deaths have stopped.

00:04:16.740 Yet, rather than looking at it and saying, what might they have done right?

00:04:20.740 People are still trying to make excuses. They're crapping on Sweden. Sweden was wrong. They killed too many people.

00:04:25.740 They killed too many people. I don't care anymore about that early part of the curve you can see over there.

00:04:29.740 It doesn't matter anymore. They're not doing whatever it was that led to that, which actually all of us are doing.

00:04:34.740 It was exposing our vulnerable to the virus.

00:04:38.740 And what it is showing though is the deaths have stopped.

00:04:41.740 If Sweden's lack of lockdown, if lack of mask legislation were the worst thing to do, they should be the worst on the planet.

00:04:48.740 The deaths should still be raging. The curve should not look like that.

00:04:52.740 Yet, here we go. People saying, oh, but they're different.

00:04:55.740 They wore masks all on their own and they stayed, you know, away and they social distance on their own.

00:04:59.740 No, they didn't actually.

00:05:00.740 They use some common sense like a lot of people do.

00:05:03.740 Sick people stayed home. They avoided infected people.

00:05:05.740 Some people chose to wear masks.

00:05:07.740 But if you look, this is a recent picture from Sweden.

00:05:09.740 They're outside enjoying the weather, socializing, having a good time.

00:05:12.740 They still got their hair cut.

00:05:13.740 They did some big, large gatherings of like 50 or more people.

00:05:17.740 But otherwise, they went on with their lives.

00:05:19.740 And, you know, they're concerned about things.

00:05:21.740 They certainly had hospital issues.

00:05:23.740 They treated people how they could.

00:05:25.740 But they didn't put their entire world on hold for this virus.

00:05:28.740 It seems to have paid off.

00:05:30.740 Now, we look at this curve of Sweden's deaths per day next to New York State to the UK.

00:05:35.740 Both of whom, again, tried locking down far more legislation than Sweden.

00:05:40.740 And look at that.

00:05:42.740 They're ending and coming into a zero death at the exact same time as Sweden. 0.87

00:05:46.740 Now, what this enrages people who jumped into the lockdown mantra is the reason they're pissed off is because as a control group Sweden has exposed that really it seems that no matter what we do, it doesn't make a damn difference.

00:05:57.740 This virus has to run its course.

00:05:59.740 And once it's run its course, the deaths stop.

00:06:01.740 We're seeing that pretty much everywhere in the developed world.

00:06:03.740 We're seeing infections going up and down a bit, but the deaths are down.

00:06:07.740 And in the end, the deaths are really all that matter.

00:06:09.740 So let's look local.

00:06:10.740 Let's look at their overall curve.

00:06:11.740 There's Canada on top.

00:06:13.740 You know, and you're looking back into April and May when infections were high and now currently all the way through summer down next to nothing.

00:06:18.740 Sweden blow.

00:06:19.740 We locked down.

00:06:20.740 We mandated masks.

00:06:21.740 We shut down our schools.

00:06:23.740 We shut down hair salons.

00:06:25.740 Our curves look the same.

00:06:28.740 Our efforts really didn't make a damn difference.

00:06:32.740 Rather than crapping on Sweden, we should be thanking them for proving that out.

00:06:37.740 At least, you know, they took a chance.

00:06:39.740 I mean, yeah, they gambled.

00:06:40.740 It could have been a disaster.

00:06:41.740 They could have lost a quarter of their population.

00:06:43.740 It's not happening.

00:06:45.740 Here's the projections we had in Alberta.

00:06:47.740 This is all the stuff they were putting out. 0.52

00:06:49.740 This chart is based on the crap that came out back in April when they were out to try and scare us into locking ourselves up. 0.92

00:06:59.740 Oh, and they were predicting as many as 30,000 people dead. 0.97

00:07:05.740 Down at the bottom, we have what really happened.

00:07:10.740 So, thank you Sweden for exposing the BS.

00:07:52.740 But we've grossly overreacted and we've really got to start looking at the other jurisdictions that didn't and start emulating them.

00:08:00.740 Now, let's get on to some more domestic stuff and a little more fun.

00:08:03.740 Jeremy Farkas announced he's going to run for mayor.

00:08:07.740 So we've got a good, libertarian, conservative option.

00:08:10.740 Going to give Nietzsche a run for the money.

00:08:12.740 He's done it a year in advance.

00:08:13.740 You know, and this is how Jeremy displaced Brian Pincott before, who was an established counselor in his ward.

00:08:21.740 It's hard to knock an incumbent off.

00:08:23.740 Farkas came along, started door knocking years before the election. 1.00

00:08:26.740 He went out and pounded the pavement and started selling his campaign as an individual working.

00:08:31.740 You know, finish work.

00:08:32.740 Go out after work.

00:08:33.740 Knock on some doors.

00:08:34.740 Get some friends.

00:08:36.740 Well, now he started his campaign a year in advance to unseat Nietzsche and become the new mayor.

00:08:41.740 And as you can see from Nietzsche in the background, he's just not impressed with Jeremy.

00:08:46.740 I'll blow it up though.

00:08:47.740 He's a little out of focus.

00:09:04.740 He'll be the first openly LGBTQ mayor that Calgary has had.

00:09:14.740 And then some of the things that Nietzsche's doing these days.

00:09:16.740 He's, you know, been supportive of Black Lives Matter and that trend.

00:09:19.740 That virtue signaling.

00:09:20.740 He's supportive of defunding the police, of course.

00:09:22.740 And that's the big trend.

00:09:23.740 Let's defund the police.

00:09:25.740 Blindly just do some cutting.

00:09:26.740 That's what they're talking about.

00:09:27.740 You know, the people talking in circles.

00:09:29.740 Oh no, it's more nuanced.

00:09:30.740 We want to change the culture.

00:09:32.740 Listen to those protesters.

00:09:33.740 Look at them on the streets.

00:09:34.740 Look at them rioting.

00:09:35.740 Look at them freaking out.

00:09:36.740 Look at the stuff that Black Lives Matter, which is a terribly extreme and dangerous group. 1.00

00:09:41.740 They also say disband.

00:09:42.740 They say abolish.

00:09:43.740 And of course they were always saying, 1.00

00:09:48.740 And then she wants to indulge them.

00:09:49.740 And we're seeing some areas.

00:09:51.740 So Minneapolis is where the start of the whole recent trend of riots and such.

00:09:56.740 After, of course, that terrible killing of Floyd happened.

00:09:59.740 They responded to the riots by listening, bowing to Black Lives Matter. 0.95

00:10:03.740 And they actually fully defunded their police.

00:10:07.740 They've had a crime wave.

00:10:11.740 And they're acting alarmed and stumped.
