So, now I do want to talk about, sorry, I talk about quite a bit on other areas.

It's the most hated country in the world. People are just reviling them, questioning every move they do,

calling them the devil. And yeah, we're not talking about North Korea. I'm not talking about Russia.

I'm not talking about China. I'm talking about Sweden.

Look at those evil bastards. Oh my God, all smiling and all blonde and all that.

It's absurd, but they really are public enemy number one as far as the establishment world goes out there.

And the reason for it is Sweden, you know, besides the annoying IKEA assembly issues they've given us,

is they went and dared to buck the trend. They refused to lock down last spring when the plague came about.

They refused to legislate masks. They had kids stay in school. They had people going to restaurants.

All the way through the entire thing. People went bananas. Oh my God, Sweden.

They're going to kill people in the hundreds of thousands. It didn't happen.

Now, Sweden did screw up. They put infected people into their senior centers.

They had a lot of deaths to start out with. People say, well, look at Norway where they're way below Sweden.

But look at Belgium. They were way worse than Sweden. Quebec was worse than Sweden.

If we're going to look at the numbers with deaths.

Yet, rather than looking at it and saying, what might they have done right?

People are still trying to make excuses. They're crapping on Sweden. Sweden was wrong. They killed too many people.

They killed too many people. I don't care anymore about that early part of the curve you can see over there.

It doesn't matter anymore. They're not doing whatever it was that led to that, which actually all of us are doing.

And what it is showing though is the deaths have stopped.

If Sweden's lack of lockdown, if lack of mask legislation were the worst thing to do, they should be the worst on the planet.

The deaths should still be raging. The curve should not look like that.

Yet, here we go. People saying, oh, but they're different.

They wore masks all on their own and they stayed, you know, away and they social distance on their own.

They use some common sense like a lot of people do.

Sick people stayed home. They avoided infected people.

But if you look, this is a recent picture from Sweden.

They're outside enjoying the weather, socializing, having a good time.

They did some big, large gatherings of like 50 or more people.

But they didn't put their entire world on hold for this virus.

Now, we look at this curve of Sweden's deaths per day next to New York State to the UK.

Both of whom, again, tried locking down far more legislation than Sweden.

They're ending and coming into a zero death at the exact same time as Sweden.

Now, what this enrages people who jumped into the lockdown mantra is the reason they're pissed off is because as a control group Sweden has exposed that really it seems that no matter what we do, it doesn't make a damn difference.

We're seeing that pretty much everywhere in the developed world.

We're seeing infections going up and down a bit, but the deaths are down.

And in the end, the deaths are really all that matter.

You know, and you're looking back into April and May when infections were high and now currently all the way through summer down next to nothing.

Our efforts really didn't make a damn difference.

Rather than crapping on Sweden, we should be thanking them for proving that out.

They could have lost a quarter of their population.

This chart is based on the crap that came out back in April when they were out to try and scare us into locking ourselves up.

Oh, and they were predicting as many as 30,000 people dead.

I mean, there's some people giving anecdotes about long-term consequences and everything, but there's no evidence of that.

In fact, this disease is so bad that a lot of people had it and recovered from it

But we've grossly overreacted and we've really got to start looking at the other jurisdictions that didn't and start emulating them.

Now, let's get on to some more domestic stuff and a little more fun.

Jeremy Farkas announced he's going to run for mayor.

So we've got a good, libertarian, conservative option.

You know, and this is how Jeremy displaced Brian Pincott before, who was an established counselor in his ward.

Farkas came along, started door knocking years before the election.

He went out and pounded the pavement and started selling his campaign as an individual working.

Well, now he started his campaign a year in advance to unseat Nietzsche and become the new mayor.

And as you can see from Nietzsche in the background, he's just not impressed with Jeremy.

He's supportive of defunding the police, of course.

Look at the stuff that Black Lives Matter, which is a terribly extreme and dangerous group.

So Minneapolis is where the start of the whole recent trend of riots and such.

After, of course, that terrible killing of Floyd happened.

They responded to the riots by listening, bowing to Black Lives Matter.

Every other person shakes their damn head when you're seeing crime waves going up.

Now, there's room to reform and fix the police.

But defunding them, I'm sorry, is just fucking stupid.

This was Minneapolis not long before they decided to defund the police.

I don't know where these city councillors in North America come from.

Let's hope that we keep our funding at least at the proper levels.

And we can re-examine our spending on everything next year.

Because we're spending way too much on pretty much everything.
