00:25:14.000 Public records from police and state and federal courts in California show that Michael Anthony Hilton, using that name and more than a dozen aliases over several years, forget about three or four aliases, try a dozen.

00:25:28.000 A dozen aliases over several years is cited in multiple criminal, civil, and bankruptcy cases, and was sentenced in 1993 to two years in the state penitentiary of California.

00:25:43.000 And if he got convicted and brought up on dozens of charges, think about what he's gotten away with.

00:25:49.000 This is a hardened criminal, folks, and obviously a very connected hardened criminal, or he wouldn't be in the position that he is today.

00:25:56.000 Hilton pleaded guilty ... in March of 93, to 14 separate felonies, including 10 counts of grand theft, 1 count of attempted grand theft, and 3 counts of diversion of construction funds, according to the Orange County Court Records.

00:35:04.000 Air Force General Gene Rourant Also told the Associated Press that as many as 400 troops are ready to go to five regional headquarters across the country to assist federal health and emergency management officials if needed as the flu season heats up.

01:01:29.000 With American Police Force last month, the deal is worth more than 2.6 million dollars a year according to city leaders.

01:01:54.000 And he's promised to dispatch security to patrol hardened streets, build an animal shelter and a homeless shelter, and offer free health care to city residents out of the jail's clinic.

01:02:04.000 Those additional promises were not included in the jail agreement, which remains in limbo because U.S. Bank has so far declined to sign off on the contract.

01:02:16.000 A U.S. Bank spokesperson declined to comment, but Peterson was adamant the deal would be approved.

01:02:24.000 But a representative of the corrections advocacy group that has been critical of Hardin's jail and has investigated Hilton's past said city leaders dropped the ball.
