Bannon's War Room - 2183： The White House Thinks That You Are The Enemy Of The State; They Are Wanting To Rewrite The Law To Criminalize You; Years Of Easy Money Are Drying UP And The Finger Pointing Will Begin; Gisele Fetterman Calls Out Mom's For Liberty

00:00:00.000 This election is a very important election, not just for Democrats, but also for Republicans, also for independents and anyone who cares about the United States of America.

00:00:10.940 There is a MAGA Republican agenda that gives no consideration to the rule of law, that has no respect for a woman's right to choose, that wants to defund the FBI.

00:00:22.920 There is a MAGA Republican agenda that thought that it was OK to attack our nation's capital on January 6th.

00:00:32.100 I think people will think of all of these things when they go to the ballot box, no matter what their party affiliation affiliation is.

00:00:40.700 And I think that they will vote accordingly.

00:00:43.200 You know, I've noticed and I think a lot of people have noticed a certain phrase that you have been using since the very first answer, and that's MAGA Republicans or MAGA Republican agenda.

00:00:55.280 It is a tough line of taking being taken by the president and by you here right now against Republicans writ large.

00:01:04.520 My question is, will the president and will folks in the administration in the between now and the November 8th elections keep hammering away at that at that phrase, at that imagery?

00:01:17.160 Well, I think it will be important for all of us who care about the United States of America to call out what we see and what we see again with this MAGA Republican agenda is an effort to disrupt our democracy.

00:01:32.580 So whether it be through November and beyond November, I think it will always be important to call out any effort there is to destroy, essentially destroy the United States of America.

00:01:44.340 President Biden has been very clear. He wants to work in a bipartisan effort.

00:01:49.480 He has worked in a bipartisan effort. He's been able to get things done on behalf of our country.

00:01:55.340 But when you have a MAGA Republican agenda that has no respect for the Constitution, that has no respect for free and fair elections, then it is important for all of us, not just the president, not just me, for all of us to call it out for what it is.

00:02:12.520 It is a danger to our democracy. It is a danger to our way of life.

00:02:17.580 You have conservative, so-called conservative thought leaders that are now openly saying that Western democracy does not work.

00:02:27.960 Liberal democracy does not work.

00:02:30.420 They choose the illiberalism of Italy, the illiberalism of Hungary, the illiberalism of Russia, and it's all about exacting revenge on your opponents instead of doing what's best for your constituents.

00:02:47.800 Yeah, it absolutely is. It's what happens when a criminal organization achieves power, seizes power in the United States.

00:02:59.640 I mean, maybe we're lucky that it never happened in the 200-plus years before this.

00:03:04.220 But how do you distinguish Trump and the people around him from a criminal organization?

00:03:12.040 Are they more criminal or more authoritarian?

00:03:14.120 It's hard to pick. You can go either way on a given day.

00:03:20.160 And so now we're facing the midterms and we're looking at the prospect, you know, what happens if Republicans do manage to take the House?

00:03:28.040 I think it's just all revenge all the time.

00:03:31.400 That's their own. They have no plan for governing and they have no interest, really, in governing.

00:03:36.980 It will all be about revenge for, you know, Trump got impeached, so let's impeach Biden.

00:03:45.420 I mean, that'll be the ultimate.

00:03:47.220 But dragging Biden cabinet members up before hearings, Benghazi, Benghazi, Benghazi, only it'll be something else.

00:03:56.900 That's what's happened to the Republican Party.

00:04:00.340 It is shocking, a shocking example of devolution into, you know, again, what's essentially a criminal slash authoritarian organization.

00:04:14.620 It's Tuesday, 27 September in the year of our Lord 2022.

00:04:20.580 We're exactly six weeks away from the most important midterm elections.

00:04:24.520 Since the Civil War, 1862.

00:04:28.480 And you see that they are they've seen the math and we're going to have Alex de Grasse on in the second hour to go through the math.

00:04:34.560 Besides all the suppression polls and spin and all the ridiculous headlines, they understand what MAGA is going to deliver.

00:04:41.520 They understand what this audience is going to deliver.

00:04:43.840 They understand that we are going to deliver democracy with a capital D in a massive victory, both in the House, the Senate, but school boards, town commissions, everything.

00:04:55.820 Because we're taking this country back village by village.

00:04:58.480 And it's not about revenge.

00:05:00.120 It's about accountability.

00:05:01.500 It has nothing to do with revenge.

00:05:02.900 It's about accountability.

00:05:03.920 Remember, vengeance is a dish that's best served cold.

00:05:07.580 OK, and this is coming in hot.

00:05:09.400 So this is not about revenge.

00:05:11.240 It's about accountability.

00:05:12.700 And the two articles of impeachment will be the invasion of the southern border.

00:05:16.200 Right.

00:05:16.380 Everything regarding that.

00:05:17.860 The second will be about the financial compromise of the Chinese Communist Party and the Biden family.

00:05:23.100 But there you see the very understated rhetoric.

00:05:26.520 The first individual is actually a White House official and she's a relatively senior White House official.

00:05:32.200 I don't believe in the history of this country, including in the run-up to the Civil War, any White House official has ever come out and said, you know, at least about 50 percent, and I would say two-thirds of the American people, that they're out to destroy the United States of America.

00:05:51.920 They're out to destroy the United States of America. 0.89

00:05:53.900 This is a – and by the way, she wasn't reprimanded.

00:05:56.600 She wasn't fired.

00:05:57.540 She wasn't sat down and talked to, that we're a danger to the republic, that we don't believe in the rule of law.

00:06:04.160 And, of course, I think the Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist for The Washington Post there on Morning Mika, the Republican Party is a criminal organization. 0.83

00:06:14.900 You're a criminal organization.

00:06:16.060 You're like the CCP or like Putin's KGB. 1.00

00:06:19.200 You're a criminal organization. 0.99

00:06:20.440 Oh, yeah, you're authoritarian, but you're a criminal organization.

00:06:23.900 But has ever – have they ever – even in Nixon, have they ever had this kind of rhetoric?

00:06:29.000 Here's what it is.

00:06:29.740 It's full panic mode.

00:06:31.520 You notice they don't come back and talk about inflation, talk about immigration, talk about, by the way, what they're losing as the NBC poll shows, border security, immigration, the economy, inflation.

00:06:42.880 Never – any debate about that, any debate about what they've done to this economy.

00:06:47.100 No debate about what's really – how did he really turn this country around.

00:06:50.620 They won't debate on that.

00:06:51.680 Now it's complete, absolute, total panic mode scare tactics so that you can see over the other side of the hill.

00:07:00.180 Don't think this rhetoric is going to get toned down.

00:07:02.460 It's only going to get more frantic, I think, quite frankly, more dangerous, more, you know, just with their hair on fire.

00:07:13.720 And this is what's going to happen about governing after we have this blowout six weeks from tonight on November 8th.

00:07:20.720 If you think they're just going to – if you think that crowd, the Uniparty, the Wall Street, the corporatists, the media, the social media oligarchs, which Mike Davis will tell us about in a second.

00:07:31.400 If you just think they're going to sit there and go, man, this is really terrific.

00:07:34.440 This is like 16.

00:07:35.180 You know, the War Room and Bannon and Cortez and Navarro and Mike Davis and, you know, Tiffany Justice, the Moms for Liberty, the Moms for America, Sharona Bishop, all the – you know, Royce White, all these individuals that come on here.

00:07:47.720 That's terrific, and they've got these congressmen like Joe Kent and they've got these congressmen like, you know, all the congressmen that were supporting, you know, Caroline Leavitt, all these people.

00:07:58.620 Isn't this terrific?

00:07:59.600 Let them make decisions to end the Biden administration.

00:08:02.980 It is only going to get 10x worse, 10x worse, 10x worse, 10x worse, and that's why you have to keep your composure.

00:08:11.820 You have to just understand you have to have – we now are – we're now going to the phase of this where we need steely resolve, right, whether it's protesting or doing these prayers around the drag queens in Chattanooga and, you know, throughout Tennessee as we heard last night because they're trying to trigger us.

00:08:31.320 We have to have steely resolve.

00:08:33.260 We have to understand what the objective is.

00:08:35.460 Go back to 12 o'clock high.

00:08:36.740 All we've got to do is get the – we've got to get the planes in formation over the Ruhr Valley, right?

00:08:42.380 We've got to drop the bombs, the metaphorical bombs on the enemy here, right?

00:08:47.600 Nothing else matters.

00:08:48.900 It's all about the objective.

00:08:50.940 Your personal life doesn't matter.

00:08:53.320 Your likes or dislikes don't matter.

00:08:56.060 Your anger doesn't matter.

00:08:57.360 Just get steely resolve because the New York Times is telling you.

00:09:00.580 That's why they put the editorial out.

00:09:02.040 You're the lead editorial in the New York Times of the weekend.

00:09:05.000 And Joe Kent's – the great Joe Kent's on the cover.

00:09:07.680 And what do they say about it?

00:09:08.520 They say this is the race that defines the midterms, right?

00:09:12.380 I mean, they nail it.

00:09:13.160 They say this is the race that defines the midterms, our own Joe Kent.

00:09:17.160 By the way, they're going to do the debate tonight.

00:09:18.860 We're going to be up on Getter.

00:09:19.760 Captain Bannon is going to be hosting an event.

00:09:21.740 I'll be in and out of it.

00:09:22.880 Joe Kent.

00:09:23.860 They say this is the one – our political future, Joe Kent versus opponent.

00:09:29.040 This show, this audience.

00:09:30.360 So it's steely resolve because the rhetoric is only going to get crazier and they're only going to do crazier things.

00:09:37.940 And now they're really triggered because Gates came on yesterday and actually talked about impeachment.

00:09:42.160 Joe Biden is getting impeached.

00:09:44.140 Let me just be blunt.

00:09:45.140 He's going to get impeached.

00:09:46.760 He's going to get impeached.

00:09:48.400 David Axelrod had this tweet out there.

00:09:50.380 It's not, oh, we're going to impeach and think about it.

00:09:52.260 No, sir.

00:09:52.740 No, sir.

00:09:53.100 No, sir.

00:09:53.420 There's two very specific – and there's going to be hearings and investigations.

00:09:56.480 He's not going to just have an impeachment vote.

00:09:58.640 We're going to show the nation what happened on this invasion of the southern border.

00:10:02.340 Here's why.

00:10:03.320 The 4.9 million that came in are all going home, right?

00:10:06.360 We're not going to just sit with this.

00:10:08.320 It's going back, going home.

00:10:10.680 The few that may be actual legitimate asylum cases can stay, but everybody else is going home.

00:10:15.340 The 4.9 million and more, right?

00:10:17.380 Because people – our guys on the border say they think it's 8 million.

00:10:21.000 That's not going to stay.

00:10:21.820 And every penny that you took from the Chinese Communist Party, we're going to account for that and see the compromise in the Chinese Communist Party and your entire family.

00:10:30.740 Those are two articles of impeachment.

00:10:32.240 Bang, bang. 0.99

00:10:33.440 Maybe more, but those are two.

00:10:34.820 They're legit.

00:10:35.340 And by the way, it's going to be regular order.

00:10:37.240 It's going to be with – the Democrats are going to have a ranking member, and they're going to have minority council, which you didn't have in the show trials, right?

00:10:45.780 That's why they got no traction.

00:10:47.280 Oh, another show trial is coming up with tomorrow afternoon at 1.

00:10:50.480 And it's so popular.

00:10:53.000 Cable TV voted, hey, let's do it in prime time.

00:10:55.800 Hop, hop, hop, wait for the vote.

00:10:57.800 Yep, no, we're not going to do that.

00:10:59.720 Of course, Zoe Lofgren says, you know, it's really because we get a bigger audience because Fox may cover us during the day.

00:11:06.300 Let me go to Mike Davis first.

00:11:07.580 I'm going to bring in Cortez in a second.

00:11:08.980 Mike, I know we've got other things to talk about, but give me your assessment of this rhetoric that you see coming.

00:11:12.740 You're a member of a criminal organization, and you, Mike Davis, are out to destroy the United States of America, sir.

00:11:21.120 Yeah, this is coming from Keisha Bottoms, who was the mayor of Atlanta and is now one of the senior advisors to President Biden.

00:11:29.220 This is a very senior post, as you said, Steve, and it's pretty stunning.

00:11:35.200 I mean, this is it's a pretty amazing that the Biden administration and Democrats are talking about political violence in this country when they had their BLM and Antifa supporters cause billions of dollars in damage,

00:11:50.880 destroy American cities and kill dozens from June of 2020 for many, many months.

00:11:58.640 They cheered them on, and Vice President Kamala Harris is still raising money to bail out rioters on her Twitter account.

00:12:09.220 So it's amazing to me that they're trying to say that Republicans are the violent ones, that this is the same Biden White House that encouraged illegal,

00:12:20.880 threatening intimidation campaigns outside of Supreme Court justices' homes while they were deciding a pending abortion case.

00:12:30.320 This led to Supreme Court justices and their families being moved to safe houses.

00:12:36.260 It led to a 1 a.m. assassination attempt against Justice Kavanaugh, his wife, Ashley, and their two daughters.

00:12:44.020 This is the same Biden administration that has done nothing about the firebombings of Catholic churches and pro-life crisis pregnancy centers,

00:12:54.080 yet they want to hunt down pro-life activists and do a home raid with dozens of FBI agents because a man was protesting outside of the abortion clinics.

00:13:06.360 This is attorney, Joe Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland have completely politicized and weaponized the Justice Department,

00:13:16.740 and they're using it to go after their political enemies.

00:13:19.580 They're going after Trump.

00:13:21.380 They're going after Trump on these non-crimes related to his having his presidential records in Mar-a-Lago.

00:13:28.320 They've waived 250 years of executive privilege going back to George Washington to go after President Trump's top advisors,

00:13:35.840 you, Steve, Peter Navarro, White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows,

00:13:40.860 even White House counsel to the president, Pat Cipollone.

00:13:43.420 They're doing subpoenas for all of these Trump supporters because you dare question the election?

00:13:48.940 I didn't realize it was a crime to question elections in democracies like America.

00:13:54.800 I thought it was only a crime to question elections in third world hell holes like North Korea. 1.00

00:14:00.920 It's the Democrats, it's the Biden regime that have weaponized, politicized and weaponized law enforcement,

00:14:06.820 not the other way around.

00:14:09.000 Cortez, give me 45 seconds on your expert in messaging.

00:14:13.000 What do you say about that messaging you just heard?

00:14:15.260 Well, Steve, listen, we are in the populist nationals right.

00:14:18.420 We need to know what time it is in America.

00:14:21.040 And if you're not sure, please go back and watch Joe Biden's despicable red sermon in Philadelphia

00:14:26.420 because he told us, he laid out in the most brazen terms what he thinks of us, of citizens,

00:14:32.280 not of his political opponents in the arena of elected officials, of activists, okay,

00:14:36.620 not sort of fellow combatants, what he thinks of regular citizens.

00:14:40.320 Know what time it is in this country.

00:14:42.640 Steve Cortez, Mike Davis, short commercial break.

00:14:45.320 We're going to get into big tech and the oligarchs, also the economy, and specifically the bond market.

00:14:51.200 All next in the world.

00:16:09.420 Action, action, action.

00:16:11.360 For our viewers and remind people what the existing Electoral Count Act is, there's been some attention around it, obviously, in the last couple of years.

00:16:20.300 And what you believe needs changing to it.

00:16:23.240 Sure.

00:16:23.640 And first, I want to thank you guys for being the check on the lies, the check on the conspiracy.

00:16:28.000 And part of being a check is the job we have to do today.

00:16:31.960 And that is taken 1877 law, put in place during the Rutherford B. Hayes era, and make sure that we have a democracy and a process that basically reflects the will of the people.

00:16:46.520 Because you know what happened.

00:16:47.600 January 6th is not just a date.

00:16:49.220 It was a date that we were counting the Electoral College votes.

00:16:53.480 Pretty much a ceremony.

00:16:55.140 But it became a rallying cry for the insurrectionists.

00:16:58.080 So what we're doing here is updating the law.

00:17:00.320 It's bipartisan.

00:17:01.480 Senator Collins and Manchin headed up a group of senators with Senator Blunt and I as heads of the Rules Committee, working with them.

00:17:08.960 And today, we're going to get this bill out of committee.

00:17:11.600 What it does, makes it clear.

00:17:13.320 Vice President, ceremonial role in this game.

00:17:16.300 And by the way, when those interactions were-

00:17:19.020 I would play this whole thing.

00:17:20.300 First off, Senator, it's the Electoral Count Act of 1887.

00:17:24.780 Let's just get the basic facts right, okay?

00:17:27.280 Ma'am.

00:17:28.900 This is the trying to, you know, for something that was so illegal.

00:17:31.740 And by the way, we don't need any changes to this.

00:17:34.460 It's perfect as it is.

00:17:36.340 Perfect.

00:17:37.640 Perfect.

00:17:38.040 Perfect.

00:17:39.580 What they're trying to do is to try to cover up what they've done in the last year by changing it.

00:17:46.480 If all these laws are broken, why do you need to change it?

00:17:49.920 Why do you need to change it?

00:17:50.940 Mike Davis, this is exactly what they try to do.

00:17:53.800 Ma'am, it's the Electoral Count Act of 1887.

00:17:58.020 And you should understand the history of how it came about, which obviously you don't.

00:18:03.300 Mike Davis, this-

00:18:05.920 And I want to spend time on the big tech.

00:18:08.100 But this gets me that they're up there in a bipartisan, remember, anything that's done

00:18:11.920 bipartisan with this regime is a disaster.

00:18:14.940 Look at the American Recovery Act.

00:18:18.000 Look at the Infrastructure Act.

00:18:19.440 Look at the Build Back Better.

00:18:20.500 Anytime you get these weak Republicans, many of whom Trump endorsed.

00:18:24.620 Let's be blunt.

00:18:25.940 Trump endorsed in the Senate.

00:18:27.020 We have another disaster, another disaster.

00:18:30.840 And you're about to have one here, Mike Davis.

00:18:33.360 Well, I would say this.

00:18:34.480 If the Democrats have such a problem with this Electoral Count Act, why did they use it to object to Republican wins in 1968, 2000, 2004, and 2016?

00:18:51.360 It seems to me that if Republicans object to the Democrats, it becomes an insurrection.

00:19:03.780 But when Democrats object to Republican presidential wins, it's fine.

00:19:09.000 It's just, you know, it's happened four times in the past.

00:19:11.960 This is a distraction.

00:19:12.940 This is nonsense.

00:19:13.760 This is unnecessary.

00:19:15.040 Well, hold it, hold it.

00:19:15.780 But they're taking it.

00:19:16.600 It's also opportunity costs.

00:19:18.220 They're up.

00:19:18.640 This is totally performative.

00:19:20.240 And now they're trying to redo this thing, which is fine as it is.

00:19:23.860 It ain't perfect.

00:19:24.680 But, hey, it's fine as it is.

00:19:26.720 They're trying to take it away so that you can't actually contest these.

00:19:29.960 You're going to have 20 percent of you're going to have to have 20 percent of chambers or 20 percent do it.

00:19:34.620 They're trying to totally redo this, but they should be spending their time on the tell me what's happening with taking apart the tech oligarchs, which is a burning issue for the American people, sir.

00:19:46.800 Yeah.

00:19:46.980 So this is going to be an important week for the tech fight.

00:19:50.060 There is a very modest bill that's working its way through the House of Representatives now.

00:19:56.740 It's H.R. 3843, the Merger Filing Fee Modernization Act of 2022.

00:20:02.560 And it combines three bipartisan big tech antitrust reforms into one package.

00:20:10.420 And so it's a modest proposal.

00:20:12.300 It gives the state attorneys general the ability to bring antitrust lawsuits against Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple in the federal districts in their home states.

00:20:23.040 Instead of getting dragged out to to tech friendly judges in the Northern District of California and having their cases tossed out.

00:20:32.160 There's a provision that allows for merger filing fees.

00:20:35.520 When Google, Amazon, Facebook and Apple try to acquire businesses, they this will have a filing fee so we can increase our antitrust law enforcement.

00:20:45.220 And there's also a critical provision on foreign merger subsidy disclosure, where it essentially roots out when the CCP is trying to buy American companies and have too much on American companies.

00:20:58.640 This is a time.

00:20:59.640 This is a modest proposal.

00:21:00.800 This is time for Republicans who pretend that they want to hold big tech accountable. 0.76

00:21:04.880 This is time for them to put up or shut up.

00:21:07.340 Mike, how do people get to Article 3 to find out more?

00:21:11.100 We'll have you on later in the week, obviously, to go through the Trump.

00:21:13.640 But it looks like that's losing steam, the fiasco in Mar-a-Lago.

00:21:19.500 How do people get to you in the interim?

00:21:21.220 Social media, which you come in a little hot on, particularly on Twitter and in your website.

00:21:27.480 Sure, it's article3project.org, article3project.org, at article3project, at article3project on Getter, Twitter, and Truth.

00:21:36.800 And my personal is at MRDDMIA, MRDDMIA.

00:21:41.680 And thank you, Steve.

00:21:43.340 Can I just make an observation?

00:21:44.720 I take it that the big bill we were hoping for is not there because the lobbyists all got – all the law firms and lobbyists, everybody got paid.

00:21:51.480 So that's why we're not doing the big bill?

00:21:53.060 Is that where we stand right now?

00:21:54.640 That's correct, but let's get these modest proposals done and build the momentum.

00:21:59.440 But it sounds – I think Republicans need to stop taking Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple money because they're bought off.

00:22:06.260 Ooh.

00:22:07.060 Okay, brother.

00:22:07.760 You're right.

00:22:08.660 We'll start naming some names here shortly.

00:22:10.380 Thank you, sir.

00:22:11.480 Thank you.

00:22:12.080 Mike Davis, always at the tip of a fight.

00:22:13.980 Let's play the cold open.

00:22:15.800 Steve Cortez has been doing a lot of work on some math here.

00:22:18.160 Let's show Steve Cortez in his latest Chalk Talk. 0.87

00:22:20.520 Patriots, there is a bond market revolt against Joe Biden and his inflation, meaning as bond prices tank lower, interest rates spike skyward.

00:22:31.560 Let's look at the recent history of interest rates since the beginning of the Trump presidency using 10-year Treasury yield,

00:22:37.820 which is the benchmark interest rate not just for America but for the entire world.

00:22:42.160 And until recently, in these past years, interest rates in the United States have been low and stable, 10-year yield mostly in the ones and twos.

00:22:51.240 But now, because of Biden, it spikes upward to the upper threes, threatening 4%.

00:22:56.740 Now, this is terrible for many parts of the economy, things like home mortgages and car loans.

00:23:01.580 But it's also awful news for the federal government and the aspect of interest expense as a percentage of the budget.

00:23:07.880 So, according to the CBO, this year, we're going to spend $400 billion nationally on interest expense.

00:23:14.700 But that number for the federal government, because of this rise in interest rates, in five years, it will be twice that much.

00:23:20.760 In 10 years, it will be three times that much to $1.2 trillion just on interest, making interest payments in coming years,

00:23:29.100 the biggest single spending item of the federal government, more than defense, Social Security, Medicare, patriots.

00:23:35.400 We have to stop this madness and fix this mess starting on November 8th.

00:23:42.800 Okay, Steve, by the way, I really want to thank, that's brought to you by Getter.

00:23:46.060 Getter is the platform that all of us are on, and it's been an amazing platform to get the message out and interconnect people.

00:23:53.020 I think I've almost got a million followers right now and engagement like I've never seen before.

00:23:57.040 Cortez, we're doing live.

00:24:00.200 Quite frankly, our show in Rome is on Getter.

00:24:03.080 We're going to do the Joe Kent thing tonight on Getter, so it's incredible.

00:24:06.120 You can get Cortez all the time.

00:24:07.260 Cortez is always doing live things, so make sure everybody should go.

00:24:10.460 It's totally free.

00:24:11.080 Just sign up for Getter.

00:24:11.860 It's easy to use, even if you're a tech challenge.

00:24:14.480 Steve, this is, I think, financially, the most important thing we need to people to think about.

00:24:19.840 Number one, there's no safe haven anymore to put your money.

00:24:23.800 Investment-grade securities are getting crushed.

00:24:25.480 They're in a bear market.

00:24:26.020 They're getting crushed as bad as stocks.

00:24:28.200 And stocks are going to get crushed worse because the earnings are all phony.

00:24:31.380 That's all going to collapse.

00:24:32.560 They're just lying to you on Wall Street.

00:24:34.380 But people are not focused.

00:24:36.300 This interest expense, and they're coming back with another orgy of spending.

00:24:40.260 Remember, right up on Capitol Hill right now, their fight is a short CR or a long CR, and is Kevin McCarthy going to have control or Nancy Pelosi?

00:24:48.060 That's all fine.

00:24:48.680 But it's still, it's 2021 numbers.

00:24:50.960 It's another trillion and a half dollars.

00:24:52.880 Your point that in, just over the horizon, the interest expense, because we've been living in a fantasy.

00:25:00.020 As this thing went from $6 trillion to now $40 trillion, that's where we are when you combine both the Fed and the Treasury.

00:25:07.240 It was all zero interest rates.

00:25:08.840 It was free money.

00:25:09.780 It was easy money because they just printed it.

00:25:12.260 This is going to get to be, ladies and gentlemen, this is why the politics of money is before you.

00:25:17.060 This will be a massive finger pointing, like, how do we do this?

00:25:20.040 How did this happen?

00:25:21.040 How do we, how do we not, how do we got to cut the Defense Department?

00:25:24.080 How do we have to shut down all these agencies?

00:25:25.980 How do we have to zero everything?

00:25:26.900 Because we're just paying interest, sir.

00:25:29.780 Right.

00:25:30.380 No, Steve, and listen, this is what Joe Biden has done.

00:25:33.640 It's bad enough for the here and now.

00:25:35.280 It's terrible for the here and now.

00:25:36.960 But it's even worse for the future.

00:25:38.800 And I don't mean the distant, distant future in decades and decades.

00:25:41.380 I mean in just a few years.

00:25:43.860 So we are literally mortgaging our future.

00:25:46.480 We've been running deficits that are too big for a long time.

00:25:48.900 But they were at least manageable at low interest rates.

00:25:51.620 Once Joe Biden came into office and absolutely exploded inflation, and it was a created crisis.

00:25:57.280 It was not the business cycle.

00:25:58.340 It wasn't just the natural turn of events in the economy.

00:26:01.960 He did three things.

00:26:02.900 Number one, he attacked domestic American energy production, which caused energy prices to explode.

00:26:07.600 That was the genus.

00:26:08.440 That was the first real birth of this inflation explosion.

00:26:11.340 Then he took it in a country that was already borrowing and spending too much, and he put it on steroids.

00:26:16.580 Absolutely exorbitant borrowing and spending.

00:26:19.200 And then the third aspect, which is the most important for the rest of the world,

00:26:22.240 is he escalated what it should be a regional struggle in the Black Sea that should be pretty immaterial to the global economy.

00:26:27.980 And he turned it into a global crisis and a global conflagration.

00:26:31.800 When you put those three factors together, that confluence has resulted in an absolute spike in inflation and a concomitant massive rise in interest rates.

00:26:41.180 That makes the deficits we are already running totally unsustainable.

00:26:46.000 And when we look over the horizon, when we look around the corner at what's ahead, and by the way, I gave CBO projections there, which I think are actually way too rosy, way too optimistic.

00:26:54.360 I agree.

00:26:54.480 But Steve, I'm trying to not look like I'm massaging the data to fit my view, right?

00:27:01.100 So I'm using the CBO.

00:27:02.220 Even at their projections, though, Steve, even at their projections, very soon, the number one department of the federal government, the number one agency, effectively, is going to be debt payment.

00:27:12.140 And I don't know that the American people are ready to face that reality.

00:27:15.840 That guess what?

00:27:16.300 Grandma is not going to get her check because we have to pay interest. 0.93

00:27:19.160 Grandma is not going to get her check.

00:27:21.340 And let me tell you about the grandkids.

00:27:22.680 If you're under 35 years old, take your number two pencil out and write this down.

00:27:26.260 Here's the phrase, debt slave, debt slavery.

00:27:29.020 Yes.

00:27:29.500 Debt slavery.

00:27:30.600 You are a debt. 0.79

00:27:31.280 You used to be a Russian serf. 0.98

00:27:33.100 It's going to get worse. 0.99

00:27:34.600 You're about to be a debt slave.

00:27:36.720 This is going to destroy your opportunities to create vibrant, robust businesses.

00:27:45.400 This day, and by the way, it's all mathematics.

00:27:47.420 This is not the opinion of Steve Cortez or the opinion of Steve Bannon.

00:27:51.940 It's laid out.

00:27:53.080 And I agree.

00:27:53.540 We're going to actually look at other forecasts in the days ahead because I agree.

00:27:56.740 The CBO is actually too rosy.

00:27:58.920 Okay, short commercial break.

00:28:00.120 Cortez, Tiffany Justice, Sandy Smith, all next.

00:28:04.080 Only in the war room.

00:28:05.000 We rejoice when there's no more.

00:28:07.780 Let's take down the CCP.

00:28:10.660 You know what's never good?

00:28:12.740 When your nation's supposed authority on economic policy completely misses the flashing red lights

00:28:19.580 of impending inflation.

00:28:20.680 Now, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has finally admitted, quote,

00:28:25.800 there's been an unanticipated and large shocks to the economy that have boosted energy and food prices

00:28:30.700 and supply bottlenecks that affected our economy badly that I didn't, at the time, fully understand, end quote.

00:28:39.500 You know who understands the real threat of inflation?

00:28:42.920 People who invested in gold and silver with Birch Gold Group.

00:28:47.580 They're protecting their savings from a highly turbulent economy by diversifying their 401K or IRA into gold, physical gold.

00:28:57.740 And it's not too late for you to take action now.

00:29:00.200 Text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898 and get a free info kit on diversifying and protecting your savings with precious metals.

00:29:12.020 With an A-plus rating from the Better Business Bureau, countless five-star reviews, and thousands of satisfied customers,

00:29:18.780 text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N, to 989898 and get the real help from Birch Gold today.

00:29:25.100 Again, text Bannon to 989898 to claim your free, no-obligation information kit on protecting your savings with gold.

00:29:35.940 Look at these moves that are taking place.

00:29:40.200 You said you don't think modern monetary theory is going to come back for a long time to come.

00:29:44.460 At least I think that was you. Maybe it was Mick.

00:29:47.360 These are some pretty difficult lessons that we're going to have to learn.

00:29:51.580 What would you equate it to? Because you've been watching the bond markets for a very long time.

00:29:57.560 Yeah, it's not only modern monetary theory.

00:30:01.620 It was never a good idea. 1.00

00:30:03.460 It was a stupid idea. 1.00

00:30:05.780 And we're seeing living proof of that. 1.00

00:30:08.040 You can't print forever and think you can get away with it.

00:30:10.880 Look at what the pound's doing.

00:30:11.800 But I think if there's a lesson to be learned here, it's the fact that central bankers in general and governments in particular have this unique relationship that we need to find a way to separate.

00:30:23.880 And it isn't necessarily a political relationship.

00:30:26.320 It's an enabling relationship.

00:30:28.580 There are enablers by these low interest rates and hanging out at zero for so long.

00:30:33.920 They allowed governments to do anything.

00:30:36.640 They allowed companies to remain that should have died.

00:30:39.400 They ruined the entire infrastructure of global finance.

00:30:43.840 And to think that it's going to come together easily or if central banks have any plan, there is no way to put this Humpty Dumpty back together.

00:30:52.420 There needs to be lots of financial destruction first.

00:30:56.100 And from that, the Arizona will rise.

00:30:58.200 The best fertilizer for the global economy right now is for all of these issues, whether it's foreign exchange, government debt, corporates, all of these financial instruments have to be pushed down to some level that represents true risk-to-value returns versus the pie-in-the-sky valuations and returns that many were getting with virtually no risk.

00:31:24.360 Okay.

00:31:25.400 That's Rick Santelli.

00:31:26.480 And you never see Rick Santelli say, buy the dip, right?

00:31:29.840 Rick Santelli is a truth-to-power guy from the Chicago pits.

00:31:34.100 He was the guy that gave the rant that really started the Tea Party back in the spring of 2009.

00:31:40.220 Cortez, you're going to be with me for a while, but I had to play this.

00:31:43.060 This was Santelli from a week ago.

00:31:44.640 Look what's happened in the 10 days or week since Santelli said that.

00:31:49.340 He's a truth-to-power, and he really was channeling what we've been saying on here.

00:31:54.600 The entire global structure has been based upon free money, easy money, right?

00:32:00.520 And that's all going to crash down around your head.

00:32:03.240 And who's going to pay for it?

00:32:04.820 The people that are holding investment-grade securities, a government bond that you say is, it ain't a stock.

00:32:10.320 I'm not buying some internet stock.

00:32:12.260 I'm not buying crypto.

00:32:13.080 I'm buying a government security, and you're down 20%, 22%.

00:32:16.680 The greatest fall in bond prices, what, since the 1920s?

00:32:21.480 Basically since they started keeping track of it, right?

00:32:23.760 Right.

00:32:24.300 I don't think they kept track of the Civil War bonds and what happened to the railroad bonds in the 19th century.

00:32:29.560 This is your life, ladies and gentlemen.

00:32:32.760 And if you think there's a magic wand that's going to come and just put some fairy dust on this, it's all going to be better.

00:32:38.300 You are incorrect.

00:32:40.280 And Cortez and I would love to sit here and give you the sunlit uplands, but it ain't going to be any sunlit uplands for a while.

00:32:47.440 This country, as they said, very difficult lessons, pretty difficult lessons.

00:32:52.400 We're going to pay for all of this, okay?

00:32:54.960 We're going to pay for this radical regime.

00:32:57.300 Elections have consequences, and stolen elections have catastrophic consequences.

00:33:02.320 And that's why they're all scrambling right now.

00:33:03.780 The MAGA guys are so radical.

00:33:05.260 Hey, look at what you've done to the capital markets in the world.

00:33:08.600 Look what you've done to the global capital markets.

00:33:10.840 Steve Cortez, price is truth, brother.

00:33:14.240 Now more than ever, Steve Cortez, your thoughts?

00:33:16.740 It sure is.

00:33:17.340 And the truth is painful right now.

00:33:19.400 That's the reality.

00:33:20.220 And Rick Santelli, by the way, a friend of mine from many years ago before he and I were ever on TV,

00:33:25.180 either one of us, from trading the futures and options markets in the Chicago Board of Trade.

00:33:29.220 He's a wonderful guy, and he is absolutely a truth teller, and he is correct here.

00:33:33.560 And the reason I know he's correct is not just my opinion, because when I look at market prices,

00:33:38.140 and price is truth, when I look at market prices, he has proven exactly prescient.

00:33:42.380 And what is going on right now is that asset classes, Steve, that were considered to be safe,

00:33:47.500 that have historically acted as stores of inflation,

00:33:50.660 have in fact become some of the most volatile, most risky asset classes in the world.

00:33:55.480 And that matters a lot, not just for traders, not just for asset managers.

00:33:59.000 It matters a lot for Main Street.

00:34:01.480 It's one of the key reasons why, for example, most Americans are now priced out of the housing market,

00:34:07.040 okay, to connect the dots here.

00:34:08.300 But let me show, too, because you mentioned investment-grade securities.

00:34:11.280 If we can pull up chart number one, please.

00:34:13.100 I think it's worth showing.

00:34:13.860 We showed this yesterday, but I want to show it now with more history.

00:34:16.980 So these are investment-grade corporate bonds.

00:34:19.700 So they're corporate bonds, but they function almost like government securities,

00:34:22.560 because these are such high-quality companies that investors consider these to be practically risk-free.

00:34:28.140 These are blue-chip companies who have historically always paid their debt on time.

00:34:32.420 And so this is typically an asset class for grandma.

00:34:35.340 It is an asset class for insurance.

00:34:36.720 It's where you put your money to be safe in normal times, and normally they're pretty boring.

00:34:41.380 So this is the LQD.

00:34:42.740 That's the ticker.

00:34:43.580 So it trades like a stock, but you're not buying a stock.

00:34:46.100 You're buying investment-grade corporate bonds in this ETF, this exchange-traded fund.

00:34:50.580 And I pointed out yesterday the damage this year has been horrific.

00:34:54.100 It is down 22% on the year.

00:34:56.840 But the reason I wanted to show more history today is to compare it to the spring of 2020,

00:35:01.400 because the spring of 2020, economically speaking, absolutely unparalleled in this country.

00:35:05.780 We just hadn't seen times like that before.

00:35:07.880 We had never had the American economy completely shut down.

00:35:11.460 So corporate bonds, there was a real risk, even in high-grade corporate bonds, high-quality corporate bonds.

00:35:16.540 Could they be repaid?

00:35:17.520 So as that chart shows, you did have a massive downdraft, but it was incredibly quick,

00:35:22.480 and the market recovered almost as quickly as it went down.

00:35:25.860 It normalized extremely quickly.

00:35:28.040 The point I'm making now is, if you look at that chart, prices are lower now than the worst moments of the spring of 2020.

00:35:37.180 Think about that, Steve.

00:35:37.960 Now, in the spring of 2020, we had no control over the epidemiological Pearl Harbor that hit this country, okay, because of the CCP.

00:35:45.420 We had no control over that.

00:35:47.000 We had control over the lockdowns, and we way overreacted, but that's another story for another time.

00:35:51.180 The point is, we didn't have control over the virus.

00:35:53.200 Now, we have complete control.

00:35:56.280 This is a totally created crisis because of the policies of Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

00:36:03.500 This is completely created.

00:36:04.960 There was no exogenous event.

00:36:06.520 The CCP didn't do this to us.

00:36:08.120 We did it to ourselves.

00:36:09.640 This is a perfect transition point.

00:36:11.280 It's a created crisis.

00:36:12.520 We go through this, and this is what's on the front of people's minds.

00:36:15.000 We're about to have Tiffany Justice and Sandy Smith running in North Carolina One. 1.00

00:36:20.820 We're also going to have Alex DeGrasse to walk through mathematics because the Democrats are going to do everything to change this conversation.

00:36:27.760 The one thing they don't want to look at is what they've done to create this crisis.

00:36:31.940 That's why we open with the cold open. 0.98

00:36:34.020 You're all fascist. 1.00

00:36:35.140 You're dangerous to the country. 0.99

00:36:36.440 It's all about democracy.

00:36:37.740 Hey, here's what the interest people have in the J6 committee.

00:36:40.660 It's a 1 o'clock show tomorrow or Thursday, whenever it's planned, 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

00:36:45.020 They can't even get MSNBC to put it on primetime and cable.

00:36:48.320 They're trying to change the conversation.

00:36:49.580 Let me go to Steve.

00:36:50.720 Hang on.

00:36:51.120 You're going to come back.

00:36:51.840 We have more to talk about.

00:36:53.540 Tiffany Justice, you were on yesterday.

00:36:55.700 Fetterman's wife.

00:36:56.820 Fetterman is running in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania about this situation up in York with the Moms for Liberty, about these books. 0.91

00:37:04.400 And people got to understand the librarians are putting just hardcore pornography, hardcore gay pornography, let's be blunt, in these libraries.

00:37:12.960 And parents are like completely saying this is not acceptable. 0.99

00:37:15.820 I think she called you a liar or the Moms for Liberty, a liar. 1.00

00:37:20.220 Who is right here?

00:37:21.180 What's going on up in York?

00:37:22.920 Why would she intrude herself into this?

00:37:25.140 And what do you have to say about it, ma'am?

00:37:26.620 So just to be clear, there's a Marxist, literally a Marxist, self-proclaimed Marxist, that is now in charge of the American Library Association.

00:37:35.980 So look that up.

00:37:37.280 Google it.

00:37:37.800 Take a look.

00:37:38.360 You can meet this nice lady. 0.93

00:37:39.920 But yes, so John Fetterman's wife yesterday tweeted something out about Moms for Liberty and said that we were anti-women and anti-women going into STEM.

00:37:50.840 And I'm here just to let Giselle know that I'm a woman and I have a daughter.

00:37:57.100 And our entire organization is really women working together, collaborating, and we empower women all across the country.

00:38:05.460 And I know very much that the Fettermans and other people would like to think that we're dark money or somehow manufactured.

00:38:11.980 I've heard AstroTurf before.

00:38:14.120 That's a lie.

00:38:15.420 And it's important that, as you say all the time, speak truth to power.

00:38:18.900 So I'm here to tell Giselle and everyone else we love women and girls.

00:38:22.820 We want lots of girls to go into science, technology, engineering, and math. 1.00

00:38:26.060 I served as a school board member, as did Tina Deskovich, the co-founder of Moms for Liberty.

00:38:30.120 And we were involved in many specific programs trying to get girls into science and technology and coding.

00:38:36.880 So this all came from an author who was desperate to sell her book, who decided that she was going to throw Moms for Liberty under the bus.

00:38:44.840 And unfortunately, media in this country was all too happy to help her to do that.

00:38:49.800 So just a call out to Newsweek.

00:38:51.980 I know they have an opinion editor there.

00:38:53.960 I believe her name is Bacha.

00:38:56.060 Um, Unger Sargon, she wrote a book that was called Bad News, How Woke Media is Undermining Democracy. 0.90

00:39:03.360 And I just want to hear from Newsweek here because I think this was clickbait, race baiting.

00:39:08.580 They entertained an author who lied.

00:39:10.960 And Steve, as I told you yesterday, it took us like 21 minutes to debunk this, to fact check this claim.

00:39:17.440 We went right to the district.

00:39:18.480 Well, Josh Hammer, I mean, the opinion side over there is pretty good.

00:39:22.760 So we'll get to the bottom of that.

00:39:24.580 Or at least they're open.

00:39:25.720 They're open to have multiple points of view, not just not just wokeness.

00:39:29.960 Why would she intrude right now?

00:39:32.480 She's not trying to pick a fight.

00:39:33.700 What they're trying to do is to cover up something.

00:39:36.160 They're trying to cauterize a wound.

00:39:38.680 What is it that they, what is it the Fettermans don't want to say?

00:39:41.160 By the way, Ms. Fetterman, my daughter is a graduate of West Point and minor in, I think, military engineering, right?

00:39:47.600 We love women that are in STEM. 1.00

00:39:49.900 We love women that are engineers, technology, science, math. 1.00

00:39:54.400 We're a huge supporter of that.

00:39:55.580 So you'll never find MAGA weak on that point.

00:39:58.240 We're huge believers in STEM.

00:40:00.340 Classical education too, but STEM has got to be a key part of it.

00:40:03.120 For minorities, women, everybody, that's the future.

00:40:06.460 So what, I don't understand.

00:40:08.000 They're trying to cauterize a wound.

00:40:09.060 What are they worried about?

00:40:09.980 What are they worried about in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania?

00:40:11.980 She would jump into this, ma'am.

00:40:13.580 I think that Giselle is very worried that her husband is having trouble with complete sentences, to be honest with you.

00:40:19.820 And they very much want to distract from the issue of the fact that it seems increasingly that Mr. Fetterman may not be able to handle elected office right now.

00:40:29.400 And so this is just a distraction.

00:40:31.060 You know, Steve, people are entitled to their own opinions, but they're not entitled to their own truth and their own facts.

00:40:36.400 And there are facts here at play that are important.

00:40:39.320 Mark Twain, I think, was famous for saying that the truth travels around the world before, I'm sorry, a lie travels around the world before the truth has a chance to put its boots on.

00:40:48.120 So just for Newsweek, for anyone else, we're getting death threats.

00:40:51.900 Our moms are being accused of being racist because of this article. 1.00

00:40:54.940 And it has been reprinted and commented on and retweeted all over social media.

00:40:59.820 So, again, if you can help us to spread the truth, our moms are very concerned about obscene sexual content in books. 0.95

00:41:06.940 And if you'd like to have me come back on, I can do a little slideshow for everyone.

00:41:11.060 Perhaps we need to do like an after hours war room because what I can show you is extremely graphic and will probably make me blush.

00:41:19.080 It's pornography. It's pornography. It's pornography. 0.78

00:41:21.420 They cut the mics off of the thing. This is the one time they cut the mics off that because the stuff's so brutal.

00:41:26.100 But it's in their school libraries. Tiffany, how do you get to Moms for Liberty?

00:41:29.340 We're going to continue this. We're not going to get off this. It's a massive issue.

00:41:32.720 How do people get to you? How do people on social media, how do they get to Moms for Liberty? 0.72

00:41:36.180 If you want to support empowered women, moms and dads taking back and reclaiming public education and defending their parental rights, go to MomsForLiberty.org.

00:41:45.900 We have a big map on that website. You can click on your state, see if you have a chapter.

00:41:49.960 If you don't have a chapter, click to start one or you can donate to us.

00:41:53.540 We're working very hard all across the country to defend parental rights.

00:41:57.080 If we don't have parental rights, if parents don't have the right to direct the upbringing of their children, you know, we talk about a lot of things on this show, Steve, but that's the fundamental right that needs to be protected in America.

00:42:08.140 Key that picks the lock. Tiffany, Justice, thank you very much for joining us here. Appreciate it.

00:42:13.300 Thank you.

00:42:14.360 Do I have time for the Sandy Smith cold open? Can we go and play it? Let's go play the Sandy Smith cold open.

00:42:19.240 Then we'll bring in Sandy.

00:42:20.020 Okay, I guess we're not going to do that.

00:42:28.940 Denver has a different idea. Let's bring in Sandy Smith. 1.00

00:42:32.200 Sandy, you're running North Carolina one.

00:42:35.120 I just want to say you gave of all the speeches at the North Carolina rally and they were fabulous.

00:42:40.440 Yours was incredible.

00:42:41.900 I mean, actually incredible.

00:42:43.040 We had Ben Burquam and I go, who is that?

00:42:45.680 And he goes, Sandy Smith.

00:42:47.100 I said, we got to get it on the show right away.

00:42:49.060 But I tell you what, Sandy, you hang on right there.

00:42:51.840 We're going to take a short commercial break.

00:42:53.420 We're going to get your cold open booted up.

00:42:56.180 We're going to introduce you to Sandy Smith from North Carolina one.

00:42:59.320 She is a fire breather. 1.00

00:43:01.660 Okay, short commercial break.

00:43:02.740 We're going back in the world.

00:43:03.580 We've got Dave Walsh.

00:43:05.080 We've got Alex DeGrasse.

00:43:06.760 We have Steve Cortez.

00:43:08.320 We got Sandy Smith, who's put it all on the line down in the Tar Heel State.

00:43:12.800 This show is packed.

00:43:14.540 Also, Joe Allen has discovered some very disturbing information about the funding, the massive funding that's really coming in back of that radical executive order, the executive order on transhumanism.

00:43:25.760 All next, only in the war room.

00:43:28.320 Americans are discovering that if we want to change this nation, we have to change the way the marketplace works.

00:43:40.920 Look, woke corporations are seeking to divide us. 0.94

00:43:43.100 Big banks are freezing the accounts of people who disagree with their political views.

00:43:47.640 And our supply chain is dependent upon countries that actively work against our values, like the Chinese Communist Party.

00:43:54.780 It's time for a change.

00:43:56.460 And that change starts with you and your wallet.

00:43:59.340 That's why I'm proud to partner with Public SQ, the largest network of patriotic, freedom-loving businesses and consumers our nation has ever seen.

00:44:59.260 Getter has arrived.

00:45:00.580 The new social media taking on big tech.

00:45:03.580 Protecting free speech.

00:45:05.880 And canceling cancel culture.

00:45:08.480 Join the marketplace of ideas.

00:45:09.920 The platform for independent thought has arrived.

00:45:13.360 Superior technology.

00:45:14.700 No more selling your personal data.

00:45:16.940 No more censorship.

00:45:18.560 No more cancel culture.

00:45:20.500 Enough.

00:45:21.620 Getter has arrived.

00:45:23.400 It's time to say what you want, the way you want.

00:45:26.860 Download now.

00:45:27.800 Let's think about that single mom that lives just down the road, who's simply just trying 1.00

00:45:35.360 to fend for her kids. 0.99

00:45:38.160 She can't afford the $3 for milk or eggs, $10 for chicken.

00:45:44.140 All she wants to do is feed her kids. 1.00

00:45:48.460 That's right.

00:45:49.480 It's terrible.

00:45:50.300 Now think about the trucker, who drives hours and hours to bring us our food, and is barely

00:45:58.420 making it, because Joe Biden has his government mandates that are just bogging him down, and

00:46:04.880 he cannot afford the cost of diesel fuel.

00:46:09.520 Joe Biden is destroying our America.

00:46:12.680 Our country was much better off under President Trump.

00:46:22.780 Okay, a firebrand took center stage at this great rally down in North Carolina, from North Carolina 1,

00:46:28.360 running for U.S. Congress, Sandy Smith.

00:46:30.560 Sandy, right there, that is plain-spoken power, because that's how you win.

00:46:35.820 Walk us through your race.

00:46:37.100 Walk us through how you're doing.

00:46:38.140 And what are folks in the Tar Heel State in your district, what is most on their mind, ma'am?

00:46:44.200 Hi, Steve.

00:46:44.720 Thanks so much for having me on.

00:46:46.820 We had a great time at the rally.

00:46:48.860 The folks are so fired up in regards to having an opportunity to make history and have new

00:46:55.160 leadership under this district.

00:46:57.960 Inflation is killing families here.

00:47:00.860 We can't afford the gas prices, which are right now artificially low, but we know after November

00:47:06.880 eight, they are going to pop back up.

00:47:09.640 We have families that can't put food on the table, and they're really worried about, you

00:47:15.340 know, crime that's just rampant in their communities.

00:47:17.880 We have fentanyl that's flowing across our borders, killing our families, thousands and

00:47:23.120 thousands of young people.

00:47:24.920 And, you know, people are just extremely worried about the direction that the radical left is

00:47:30.140 taking our country.

00:47:30.780 Is the rejoinder from your opponent, what we've seen as we go around congressional districts

00:47:38.040 throughout the country, it's abortion in January 6th, that, you know, you're a MAGA Republican,

00:47:44.140 you're an insurrectionist, democracy's in peril, and abortion, abortion, abortion.

00:47:48.720 Are they engaging you on these topics to make a case of why their economic policies are actually,

00:47:55.120 actually, not just winners, but actually make sense for working class and middle class Americans, ma'am?

00:48:01.740 Absolutely.

00:48:02.420 That's why they're pushing the abortion issue. 1.00

00:48:05.700 They're pushing the January 6th, you know, fabrication of insurrection.

00:48:11.100 They don't want to talk about the issues.

00:48:12.740 They don't want to talk about them sexualizing our children in the classroom. 1.00

00:48:16.860 They do not want to talk about inflation.

00:48:19.040 They don't want to talk about family suffering.

00:48:21.040 They have no solutions, and that's why they're trying to pivot and keep the focus on abortion 0.93

00:48:28.520 and crazy things, you know, all that stuff, because they have no solutions.

00:48:34.460 When you go throughout your district, what's on the top of mind of not just Republicans and

00:48:39.460 not just Trump voters, but independents, moderate Democrats, when you go throughout and knock

00:48:44.660 doors and talk to people, what is on the top of their mind?

00:48:47.860 They want us to take care of our veterans because we don't do a good enough job to take care

00:48:53.120 of veterans.

00:48:53.840 Matter of fact, people don't know that our active military families are having to depend

00:48:58.720 on food stamps to feed their kids.

00:49:00.960 That is totally unacceptable.

00:49:04.020 They're also focused on jobs in their community.

00:49:07.080 You know, we are a very rural area, and we've been neglected.

00:49:10.820 We've had the same representative for over 20 years, and we've gotten nothing, with the

00:49:16.040 exception of maybe a bus stop that was named after, or a bus station, I should say, that's

00:49:20.380 named after the representative.

00:49:21.960 But folks want opportunities.

00:49:24.440 Their families are having to leave because their kids can't get jobs.

00:49:29.100 So, you know, it's really, really affecting folks here in Eastern North Carolina.

00:49:32.560 So what do people need that this audience, the volunteers, you know, you've got a massive

00:49:37.880 audience here.

00:49:38.660 Just tell folks what you need, what assistance, what they can do, whether to be, you know,

00:49:44.500 work the phones for you, help knock doors, you name it.

00:49:48.100 Just walk us through how they get to, how do you get your campaign, how you find out more

00:49:51.100 about you, because your speech at their, and they were great speeches, but yours really

00:49:55.320 stuck out as just a, you're just a firebrand, right?

00:49:57.780 And so it's, it's, I think it's incredibly important that you win this race.

00:50:03.200 So how do people find out more about you, how they find out more about your campaign?

00:50:07.480 They can go to SandySmithNC.com, sign up to help there.

00:50:13.220 We are on a fundraising crunch goal right now.

00:50:16.600 We're trying to raise $100,000 before the 31st.

00:50:19.640 The Democrats have already put in $1.2 million against me.

00:50:25.260 And, uh, we have to make sure we have the ammo to fight.

00:50:28.980 If we have the ammo to fight, we win this race and we then can start fixing our country.

00:50:35.280 And you're absolutely right.

00:50:36.520 You mentioned a magic wand.

00:50:37.820 It's not a magic wand that we can wave.

00:50:39.460 It's going to take time.

00:50:40.560 But if we do not write the ship in November, we are, I'll just say it. 0.96

00:50:44.540 We're screwed. 1.00

00:50:45.440 Our country is screwed. 1.00

00:50:46.420 The direction the Democrats want to take us. 0.86

00:50:49.040 Sandy, one more time, how do they get to you on social media and how do they get to your

00:50:52.220 campaign?

00:50:52.640 SandySmithNC.com.

00:50:57.500 And they can make phone calls from any place in the country.

00:51:00.520 So you can help if you live in, you know, Iowa or California, Texas, you can help my campaign.

00:51:06.740 If you locally, you can knock doors.

00:51:08.700 We actually have people coming from out of state knocking doors for us.

00:51:11.460 They just see how important this race really is.

00:51:14.340 And, you know, of course, the financial support really gets us the opportunity to put the commercials

00:51:20.460 and their radio ads, you know, and they want to and basically, you know, rebuttal the attacks

00:51:26.580 and everything that the left is putting.

00:51:29.300 Sandy Smith, we look forward to spending a lot of time focused on this race.

00:51:32.540 Thank you very much, man.

00:51:33.360 Thank you, Steve.

00:51:34.700 Have a great day.

00:51:36.080 Thanks.

00:51:36.860 Cortez, you saw right there, that's a fire-breathing populist that takes that stage right before

00:51:42.200 President Trump and just lays down in plain English, right, kind of like Georgia Maloney.

00:51:47.000 They just, boom, just lay it out there and then back it up.

00:51:51.140 Your thoughts, sir?

00:51:52.480 Steve, it's a realistic reason to be optimistic, okay?

00:51:55.840 We talk a lot about the dire state of the economy right now in this country, and that's
