00:32:27.880 Arizona, read me into a case of a young private named Private Maranon, who's down in South Carolina.

00:32:34.840 who's being held over, and they're trying to basically process him out at a training command.

00:32:42.800 And so they asked me to go down there. I went down there. I was able to interview the private. I was

00:32:47.780 able to interview four of his peers, and then I interviewed the colonel down there and also the

00:32:53.380 general in the chain of command. And then I interviewed the private one more time before I left. And what I

00:32:59.240 found was that it seems to me like the thing that this private is guilty of is being a patriot,

00:33:07.280 a conservative Christian who's opinionated, whose worldview doesn't align with the woke,

00:33:14.380 DEI-saturated worldview of the armed services. You know, I looked through this case, Steve.

00:33:21.740 Steve. Basically, they're trying to make this kid out to be a white supremacist, racist. He's not even

00:33:27.940 white. He's from Peru. He's an immigrant who just wanted to serve his country. Now, what I can tell you

00:33:33.620 about him, Steve, is he does stand out a little bit. He's an older private. I think he's about 32,

00:33:38.260 33 years old. He's married. He has a kid. He wanted to serve his country. And he's the type of young man

00:33:44.540 that he has a little bit more maturity. So when he sees some of the nonsense, you know, he doesn't keep

00:33:49.880 his mouth shut about it. He'll say something about it. And I think that's his that's his biggest crime.

00:33:53.940 But the army's trying to process him out. When I looked at through the packet and the accusations

00:33:59.660 against him, it was interesting, Steve, because many of the accusations that I read all had the same

00:34:05.700 date and timestamp on it. You know, it was I think it was 640, you know, p.m. right the day right before

00:34:13.460 graduation, the day before he was going to walk the line and graduate. It was family day. His his mom was

00:34:19.420 flying in from Peru. His wife was flying in from Vegas. The kid didn't even know he wasn't going

00:34:24.660 to graduate. And, you know, when I looked through a lot of I mean, that smelled of a railroad job to

00:34:30.900 me. And after talking to the kid, I know Sonny's talked to him and many other retired, you know,

00:34:37.440 colonels and veterans have talked to this young man. We see somebody that could be an asset to the

00:34:42.760 military, somebody that could be an asset to the army. But like I said, is victim to armed forces

00:34:49.380 that has become woke and saturated in DEI?

00:34:54.900 Gunny Borrelli, tell us about your involvement in this. What are your thoughts on this situation?

00:35:01.280 Well, I first met this man, gosh, a year ago before he even joined the army. And, you know,

00:35:07.780 he's from Lake Abasu, so he's my constituent. So he reached out to me in November because it started

00:35:15.100 like in October. And they literally had this this man on restriction that like it's like

00:35:20.760 Representative Crain said they wouldn't let him graduate with this platoon and they held him

00:35:25.760 over. And they had him literally because he's not in a training command anymore and he doesn't have

00:35:30.960 a barracks. They literally had him sleeping on a cot for two and a half months going on three months

00:35:37.420 in the in a basketball gym and they eating MREs. I mean, they wouldn't even let this guy go to hot

00:35:44.360 get hot shallots and mess off. So he reached out to me. And of course, I reached out to a retired 0.95

00:35:49.860 Master Sergeant Jack Donut because he's Army and he knows Army and I'm a Marine. So I reached out to

00:35:55.160 him. I said, this doesn't smell right. So he did some checking for me, got me in touch with Colonel,

00:35:59.860 Lieutenant Colonel Pete Chambers. And then, of course, we got in touch with Colonel Jenkins.

00:36:05.000 And then, of course, then we had to get this man, a lawyer, Major Wilson. He's a retired

00:36:10.060 Army major. He was also a JAG officer. And so we had to get him an attorney because here he is

00:36:17.320 sitting around doing nothing unrestricted, literally restricted to the barracks or excuse me,

00:36:22.460 the gym on a cot. I mean, that's all fine, good training, but this is beyond that. So they,

00:36:28.980 his wife was pregnant, ready to have a baby. They wouldn't let him go home on leave. Major Wilson

00:36:33.700 had to get involved. He could go home on leave, see his son being born. And he went back to the

00:36:39.320 base, hoping that this thing would blow over and this would just get on with it. But they're trying

00:36:42.940 to separate him out on EO violations. Now, this is what the EO violation started with. Because his

00:36:49.680 screensaver on his cell phone, okay, had a picture, the same identical picture that is the official

00:36:57.940 picture when President Trump was in office, the same photograph that sat in every command deck

00:37:03.880 and the entire armed forces, plus every federal building, the same identical picture. It's his

00:37:09.140 screensaver. So a black female trainee sees this picture and immediately says, Trump's a racist. 0.97

00:37:15.560 And he says, no, he's not. Well, then you support Trump. You're a racist. So now that started the

00:37:20.520 ball rolling when you're a racist. And then, of course, when a openly gay recruit made advances on him,

00:37:27.300 he says, I'm married. Leave me alone. I'm straight. I'm a Christian. I don't believe

00:37:31.720 in that. So next thing you know, he's a homophobe. Well, the drill sergeant, who's a Hispanic female

00:37:36.620 from East L.A., zeroes in on this guy. And, you know, why are you married to a white girl? And,

00:37:45.080 I mean, there's such crazy stuff like that. And, of course, he brags that he's married to a black 0.96

00:37:49.940 man. Well, congratulations. This is the problem we have here, okay? As a retired Marine gunnery sergeant,

00:37:56.360 okay, as senior staff and CEO, you don't let your, especially recruits, you don't let your

00:38:01.620 subordinates know about your personal life. And you definitely don't give them your personal opinion

00:38:06.820 about, you know, politics or anything like that. You just stick to training. And if you make a mistake,

00:38:12.980 you correct it on the spot. You don't wait two months and then the day before you're graduating,

00:38:19.560 you get three privates in a room and say, everybody fill out this statement and this is what I want you to

00:38:24.400 say. These recruits are going to say what the drill sergeants tell them to say because they're

00:38:28.220 intimidated. So this is the kind of garbage. So the next thing you know, he's a white supremacist,

00:38:33.140 he's a homophobe, and, you know, this garbage, and they're trying to, you know, out and kick him out.

00:38:39.440 Now, this has been going on in October.

00:38:42.440 Hang on, hang on. Okay, hang on for one second. Hang on for a second. Crane, Eli, you went and talked to

00:38:47.500 the command. You talked to the two guys in the chain of command that run the deal.

00:39:35.160 of the things that was, you know, very indicative of this whole situation to me was when I talked

00:39:39.820 to four of his peers. Okay. I talked to four of his peers that spend all day, every day

00:39:44.620 with this young man. And only one of them was white, Steve. The other three were not. And

00:39:49.400 I asked him, is the private racist? No. Does he treat anybody differently because of the

00:39:54.600 color of his skin? No. What's, what's the deal with him? He's opinionated. Okay. That doesn't

00:40:00.460 just, you know, that doesn't qualify having this separating this young man and kicking him

00:40:05.200 out. I also asked all four of them, Hey, do you think that this guy's being railroaded?

00:40:09.600 All four of them said yes. So that told me right there after talking to his peers, this

00:40:14.620 chain of command does have a problem. And that's why I went down there. That's why I asked you

00:40:19.120 if I could come on your show and alert the American people to what's going on with this individual

00:40:23.920 case. But more importantly, what's going on systematically within the bigger department

00:40:29.100 of defense in our military. This is, this is systemic. This is why the army and the military

00:40:34.440 and the Navy, all of it, it's all messed up right now because you got, when I was in, you

00:40:38.180 never, this stuff was not even, you didn't talk about anything like this. You could not,

00:40:42.320 not even part of the program. Get on with the business at hand. Right. Well, where do

00:40:46.420 you think this leads? I mean, Steve, where do you think this leads? What do you think this

00:40:50.320 is going to lead to when many of our adversaries who are very dangerous and don't care about

00:40:55.180 any of this stuff and all their care to, all they care about is preparation and lethality.

00:41:33.320 I told him, I said, if, you know, it's like, look, you need to move this young man onto his 1.00

00:41:38.780 next training command. And if he's as bad as you say he is, then we all know what's going to happen

00:41:43.800 at his next training command. But I said, there's so many holes in this story and all these accusations

00:42:49.200 withholding the paperwork for him to get his final story in, which, you know, thankfully he

00:42:53.500 got sworn in as a U S citizen last Friday. They wouldn't, they're withholding this man's mail

00:42:59.780 for God's sake. They wouldn't let him go to church. We'll go to go to the PX. They're still taking

00:43:04.280 away his cell phone. He's no longer in training. They're just holding him. And literally this is

00:43:09.740 flat out beyond just normal hazing. They're withholding his mail, which is a federal crime.
