Donald Trump's first criminal trial is coming to an end. Closing arguments will not be until after Memorial Day next Tuesday, the judge said. President Donald Trump and his lawyer, Jay Sekulow, will continue to argue their case against the president.
00:00:00.000But this is where the big development just in the last moments inside the courtroom are because after all the witnesses have been called, that's when you have summations or you could call it closing arguments.
00:00:09.460And that could have started as early as tomorrow. But Judge Marchand inside of this courtroom announcing that summations, closing arguments in Donald Trump's first criminal trial will not begin until after Memorial Day next Tuesday, saying that he was concerned that closing arguments and then the deliberation process for the jury to determine whether Donald Trump is guilty or not, that there could be with that four day weekend in hand.
00:00:36.220There is no court Friday. There's no court Saturday, no court Sunday, Memorial Day is Monday.
00:00:40.780And so there is concern about having such a long break between closing arguments and jury instructions in the jury charge to the point of the actual deliberation of the jury.
00:00:50.120So Donald Trump's criminal trial will not be ending this week. It will extend into next.
00:00:54.300Thank you very much. I'm here instead of campaigning.
00:00:58.160As you know, I was supposed to be in a very different state this morning and the judge actually decided to call it early.
00:01:06.220And yet it looks like we're going to have a very big gap between days and it's going to be determined right now in court.
00:01:12.980But we're here about an hour early today. I was supposed to be making speech for political purposes.
00:01:21.320I'm not allowed to have anything to do with politics because I'm sitting in a very freezing cold courtroom for the last four weeks.
00:01:29.660This is very unfair. They have no case, they have no crime.
00:01:33.980It's been determined by everybody, every legal scholar, New York Post editorial board today, Trump prosecution wind down.
00:01:42.780It's always been a witch hunt. With a prosecution winding down to Donald Trump's Manhattan case, we have to ask, in the mortal words of Peggy Lee, is that all there is?
00:01:56.440That's the New York Post editorial board. It's become utterly apparent, if that wasn't seen already, that the key elements to any prosecution is missing.
00:02:06.180The key element is missing. And it says, what's missing? A crime. There's no crime.
00:02:12.260You know, they go through all this stuff and there was nothing done wrong. NDAs are perfect.
00:02:18.300And by the way, legal expenses, you know, we paid a legal expense. You know what it's marked down in the book says? A legal expense.
00:02:24.580Again, it's not marked down as construction. It's not marked down as sheetrock and cinder block.
00:02:31.400It's marked down as legal expense. You have a lawyer. You pay him a legal expense.
00:02:36.480And it's covered in the book as legal expense. I had nothing to do with it. The bookkeeper put it down as a legal expense.
00:02:43.800This is why I'm here, because we called it a legal expense, a payment to a lawyer.
00:02:48.440Jonathan Turley, even liberal experts have continued to express doubt over where's the crime.
00:02:57.500Andy McCarthy, let's stick with the relevant undisputed facts of the case.
00:03:02.100Greg's evidence is woefully inadequate. This case should be dismissed. It should have never been brought.
00:03:15.580And the judge is highly conflicted. He's a corrupt judge. He's highly conflicted.
00:03:22.000He's totally corrupt. And he's interfering with an election.
00:03:25.960Greg Jarrett, there is no credible evidence of a crime.
00:03:33.840Brad's case against the accused is beyond the demon.
00:03:37.640It is an audacious and, let's see, it is an audacious corruption of the legal process and a very dangerous one.
00:03:45.740No fair or competent judge dedicated to upholding justice would have ever allowed such a case.
00:03:51.960It's a trade record. And he goes on and on and on.
00:03:56.320No judge except this one would allow this case to continue.
00:09:48.140This was a call to Keith Schiller because some 14-year-old was pranking Michael Cohen.
00:09:52.960But he tried to pretend that it was him explaining to my father the payments, you know, magically,
00:09:57.620in a minute and seven seconds or whatever it was, something ridiculous.
00:10:01.600They reconciled the text messages at the same time with the phone calls and the entire case hinged on all of that having actually supposedly had happened.
00:10:11.700You know, again, that's coming from Cohen, but it doesn't matter because you're designed.
00:10:17.040The truth is irrelevant to these people and clearly to Michael Cohen.
00:10:20.380So, you know, our guys, the defense did an incredible job breaking that out, got him to stammer on the stand, got him to say, well, maybe it's a little different than that.
00:10:29.740All of a sudden, it's always a little different when he gets caught.
00:10:35.560So I'm sure the prosecution is going to try to clean up this guy who's a criminal, who spent time in jail, who lost his law license, who did all of these things.
00:10:43.980And, you know, they're going to try to make him seem like he is a deity because, you know, again, they're hoping that in a New York court with a stacked jury, a biased judge and a long holiday weekend where I'm sure the media will be hounding them and putting pressure on them to make sure that Trump doesn't get off as he should.
00:11:03.640You know, that's what's going on right now.
00:11:50.020You know, it was pretty good existence until you put that little R next to your name as a Republican and all of a sudden things change.
00:11:55.960So even if there is someone, and again, in a 95 to 5 radical liberal to conservative district, you know, the defense only gets so many jurors they can strike off of this thing.
00:12:08.660But even if you got one on there, or even if you had a liberal that actually just realizes exactly what this is, that it's a sham and understands the implications of that for the future and what it would do to our country and our judicial system, which is collapsing before our very eyes.
00:12:23.380For anyone, you know, watching, you know, that person, if they're the person that lets Trump go, you know, they couldn't show up to their kid's school in New York City.
00:13:36.000I mean, listen, objectively, as an American, as a businessman, as a father of five young children, I wish Joe Biden's presidency was a success.
00:13:45.560It would be much easier for me to not have to be in this game, to not have to engage.
00:13:49.160There's much more consequence to being a vocal conservative and being out there fighting.
00:13:52.860But there is not a single talking point.
00:13:55.780There's not a single thing in the entire metric of America right now that is thriving, that is succeeding, whether it's wars, whether it's economies, whether it's just the unrest civilly in America right now, all created by this insanity.
00:14:10.300Frankly, encouraged by the left. We saw what happened during the 2020 summer of love riots.
00:14:15.540And, you know, that's what they're doing right now on college campuses.
00:14:18.680There's not a single thing that Joe Biden could stand on right now that is a success.
00:14:23.540There is not it is not an objective win in the entire arsenal.
00:14:27.740Don Jr., hang on one second. Short break. Don Jr. on the other side.
00:14:33.740Can your savings, whether an economic storm, think about what you've put away for the future?
00:16:09.040It's been very unprofessional, even how they've tried to gun deck it.
00:16:12.340But it's going to come down to the pressure on these citizens of New York that are in the jury, right?
00:16:18.720Even if people are not – and I'm sure there's a ton of people there who just hate Trump and are just there because they want to say, I got Trump.
00:16:24.520But for those even-handed people, even liberals, that would sit there and go, this is a fiasco.
00:16:29.040So the pressure on them is going to be like something nobody's ever seen.
00:16:32.540Tell me what the pressure in New York City is really like about putting Trump away.
00:16:37.740Yeah, listen, I legitimately think people would have a hard time bringing their children to school.
00:16:44.300I know before we moved to the free state of Florida when we were still in the People's Republic of New York,
00:16:48.220my children in elementary school would get all sorts of undue craziness from kids.
00:16:54.280But it wasn't because the kids had no idea.
00:16:55.620They're five years old, but the parents would be side-eyeing them and giving them mean looks because of who they are.
00:17:02.800That kind of pressure on an adult is going to be – and it's designed to be just spirit-breaking.
00:17:10.500You could understand that this is all a shame.
00:17:12.540You could – and still understand that there's a serious consequence to your life in doing this.
00:17:49.020This is a show trial, but it's a show trial where the people who are making that decision understand that there are real consequences to making the right call here.
00:17:58.020And, you know, again, it's something you still have to deal with.
00:18:15.420They understand the policies always work.
00:18:17.200They understand four years under Joe Biden has been an abject disaster across our country.
00:18:22.140It's what you're talking about with all the people running away from his policies in the spring states because there's nothing to – there's nothing to embrace.
00:18:28.820Not a single thing in three and a half years.
00:18:31.080You know, we were told the adults were back in charge, but that was obviously nonsense.
00:19:50.820You can see all the stuff that we're publishing for people who are otherwise being censored by the publishing houses.
00:19:56.640We're just trying to fight back, Steve, in every possible venue.
00:20:00.880So you can get it at newmagadeal.com or 45books.com.
00:20:04.180These are some of the other authors that we're publishing, you know, voices that are important, people who are being smothered, people who are being censored and trying to be suppressed.
00:20:16.160So Peter put together basically an outline of what the next term has to be, the next term under Trump to regain the strength, to put China back in its place, to stop putting America last.
00:20:28.340And so he's just been a great patriot.
00:20:31.380He actually was doing it with someone else.
00:20:32.960And once his court travails, you know, they obviously bought into it again, usually by design.
00:20:38.340So Sergio Gore and I, we picked up his transcript.
00:20:40.960We said, hey, we're going to put this out for you.
00:20:42.760We're going to help make sure that people understand what it is.
00:20:45.760The other side always complains, oh, you don't like what you got on this playing field?
00:20:59.620And, you know, really put together the plan for them next term, what we have to do, where are the places we got to attack, who are the rock stars of the movement and who are the snakes.
00:21:08.880And, you know, he's going to be instrumental in that.
00:21:12.660I mean, literally, he was on my Triggered podcast on Rumble the day before he went to prison for four months.
00:21:18.680And he's out there not talking about that or even the ridiculous, malicious prosecution that he's had to go through, because we all understand that you're dealing with some of that yourself.
00:21:35.000And it's just amazing to see that level of commitment, that level of patriotism under, you know, pretty extreme, you know, and arduous circumstances.
00:21:44.160Now, New Maga Deal, if we need you to go on offense to the audience, this is the weapon you need.
00:21:50.640You can get people's girls, all the policies laid out.
00:21:53.040And it's got many of the contributors, the Dave Bratz, the Dave Walsh's, et cetera, that helped Peter put this together.
00:23:44.200I guess I've been ridden hard and put away wet all those years of, you know, misspent youth doing adventurous stuff.
00:23:51.000And, you know, again, it wasn't even like I did anything.
00:23:52.940I was walking, and apparently I'd done my meniscus a long time ago, and it was just hanging on by a thread and finally popped.
00:23:58.760So it's just too important a year to sit back and do all of that.
00:24:02.680And I figured if I took the pain meds and I slurred one word, if I misspelled one word in a tweet, they'd say, he's just like Hunter Biden.
00:33:53.700You've got some other issues you want to go through about are we going to have this election stolen at the law fair?
00:33:59.440You got law fair and you've got the election.
00:34:02.140Right now, we know the message is resonating.
00:34:04.260You see the lead story in the Hill this morning is how in battleground states you're seeing these Democrats run away from Biden and his agenda.
00:34:48.540And then we sit there caught flat footed.
00:34:51.160And a big problem that's happening right now with the lawfare, for example, like what we just saw with the governor there, we have to be more aggressive in what we are doing to start suing now.
00:34:58.720You mean the governor in Minnesota making it easier for illegal aliens to vote.
00:35:03.080But what is happening, though, is the lawfare is so problematic.
00:35:06.420Do you remember when they founded the 65 project?
00:35:08.300That was founded by David Brock, the head of Media Matters, American Bridge, along with some Perkins Coons attorneys.
00:35:46.180But the throwing the people around it just shows you the overreach of these AGs and local prosecutors.
00:35:50.940Yeah, and they want to tie up every single Republican leaning attorney ahead of November so that they can't be there to do the poll watching the office of lawsuits that we want to do.
00:35:59.320And so right now we're just really encouraging attorneys that we know it is a scary time.
00:36:02.700But you have to be able to be willing to step forward for the rule of law, help out the Republican Party.
00:36:07.400And then we have to get Republicans in office to stop this, stop this insanity.
00:36:11.020And I would hope, as Mike Davis says, to also turn the turn the tables on them and go after them.
00:36:15.600And so I would hope that Mike Davis is going to head up in addition to being the attorney general acting attorney general, as Mike would say.
00:36:22.700Initially, he'll be the viceroy, right?
00:36:31.040Where he goes back and he targets these Mark Elias, these Perkins Coie, all of these attorneys and puts them and gets them caught flat footed.
00:36:37.080Because they're even going after, with some of these, any attorney that's ever worked in or around President Trump or any of these entities, they will go after any companies that work with them.
00:37:19.120You saw there was a big statement that she left the Gates Foundation, and she basically said, I'm taking $1.5 billion of my money out of this, and I'm starting.
00:37:27.420That's what she was saying in that statement when she separated herself from the Bill Gates Foundation.
00:37:30.560The amount of money they have pouring into this web of nonprofits is truly unbelievable, and it goes to support these little tentacle entities such as the 65 Project.
00:37:40.280And so 70, 75 percent of the country is with us, but there's this cabal of money and organization, and they are on the march against Western civilization, quite frankly.
00:37:49.240And so we're trying to be as targeted, coordinated as we can.
00:37:52.400I will say there's a lot more movement than I'm seeing right now, a lot more coordination.
00:37:55.860There's a lot more calls going on with attorneys and Republican officials trying to really go on offense, but goodness, is it hard, and it's hard because they are just militant.
00:38:07.500The way the Democrats roll for our audience is really through these outside groups, Arabella in particular, because they said the DNC is too incompetent.
00:38:15.280What we're going to do is put big piles of money.
00:38:18.560Where we have that, it's really in back of Senate candidates through Stephen Law and McConnell, and you see like Paul Singer putting in back of Johnson.
00:38:27.800And I keep saying it's to cover their bet that they will have control.
00:38:31.620If Trump wins or not, it's fine, but it's an option.
00:38:48.180But the left is so much more organized and purposeful with their funding, and they do their funding through these nonprofits because you can register voters through 501c3s.
00:38:56.600You can do issue advocacy through 501c4s, and they put their money in these donor-advised funds.
00:39:04.880Yeah, Sheldon Whitehouse will never talk about this on the left side.
00:39:07.360Of course, on the right side, he loves to call out and investigate anyone.
00:39:09.960So Republicans have got to just restructure the way we fund things, and we're also getting crushed in low-dollar funding because ActBlue is basically the largest money-laundering organization in the world, and God knows how much.
00:39:37.700The left is way more organized within ActBlue, but it is tied to Amalgamated Bank, and Amalgamated Bank is where all the unions bank, Arabella Banks, everyone, and the amount of what they call un-itemized money.
00:40:08.900They have to take out the strongest and the biggest fighters among us, and they are doing it.
00:40:12.920They are doing it right now, and luckily we have people who are willing to actually have a backbone and say, I'm not going anywhere.
00:40:17.460I'm going to keep stepping down and fighting, but it slows us down when we do this, and so we need more coming into the movement, more joining us this fight, more citizen journalists looking into things like this.
00:40:27.140You can go look up yourselves on ActBlue.
00:40:28.620Go look and see if your neighbors have been giving on there, and then go ask them, did you actually make this donation?
00:40:32.620Because you will be shocked the amount of money that is pouring in through that, and that is why you see people like Sherrod Brown in Ohio raising $12.5 million last quarter to Bernie Moreno's $2 million.
00:41:27.720And it's – you're getting an update in actual – with the Republicans, WinRed, you were just bombarded with these text messages about triple 500X match.
00:41:35.880And no one's – who actually thinks that that's happening?
00:41:50.160And they're completely overwhelming the Republican donor base that did not sign up to have their phone numbers and emails just bombarded to 500 different candidates.
00:41:57.460If people want to continue this conversation with you, where do they go?
00:42:07.360Actually, you were down here because the party was at your house the other night that was raided by the – was raided by the authorities to try to roll up Rudy.
00:44:40.120I'm concerned about the candidates that Republicans have put forth.
00:44:43.980In fact, when you look at the Carrie Lake of Arizona, the Herschel Walkers of Georgia, and then the Doug Mastrianos of Pennsylvania, then those are the people we should be most afraid of.
00:44:58.340Incumbent Senator Raphael Warnock has defeated Trump-picked Republican challenger Herschel Walker in Georgia's runoff election.
00:45:05.800There are many Republicans across the country who have begun to see the light of day and realize that neither party is right all the time, right?
00:45:16.940And that somehow we have to come together to pick candidates, to choose and elect candidates who actually are qualified intellectually, character-wise, to represent us.
00:45:29.540Okay, another big upset, one in Minnesota, another big upset in Georgia.
00:45:53.780It's about the base of the Republican Party, that they wanted somebody who's going to fight with them, be in the game, and actually stand up for them.
00:46:02.040And we haven't had that in a long time.
00:46:03.580And with all the losses across Georgia statewide, we've lost 15 House seats, 15 state House seats, five Senate seats, Georgia's seven flip blue.
00:46:11.480And then, you know, as you just showed in that clip, two Georgia's U.S. Senate seats flipped to Democrats.
00:46:56.340And part of the biggest part of the problem are the Republicans.
00:46:59.220And so, as you know, I've always been an outsider willing to push on the Republicans, and I'm not afraid to do that.
00:47:05.880But I want the base to have a voice at the Georgia GOP as well as the RNC, and that's why they elected me.
00:47:12.800They elected me to stand up and fight for them.
00:47:14.940And I'm honored and humbled to actually have their support and that they believe in me.
00:47:19.480Are the Kemp forces, because this is one of the most, you know, for having a MAGA voter base, right, and being Georgia's red, and man, it's got some MAGA patriots down there.
00:47:32.820You have an establishment that is probably, I think, maybe the most anti-Trump establishment.
00:47:38.980And Roethlisberger, Kemp, I mean, you've got some bad hombres down there that hate President Trump and hate MAGA.
00:47:43.720How are you guys going to sort that out?
00:47:44.960Well, see, the fact of the matter is there's more of us than there are of them.
00:47:49.560It's not just that they hate Trump and hate MAGA.
00:47:52.780You would not believe the comments that I heard from these establishment people, the bashing of the Tea Party movement.
00:47:58.660I mean, they're still hung up on the Tea Party movement.
00:48:00.720And that's one of the things I stood up on stage and said is, look, if it weren't for the Tea Party movement, you wouldn't have Donald J. Trump.
00:48:07.460It was a Tea Party movement that took back the House in 2010 and took back the Senate in 2014.
00:48:12.060It's the Tea Party movement that has won these elections.
00:48:15.400But the word Tea Party, they hate Tea Party.
00:48:18.240Somebody else said, I don't want to hear about the grassroots.
00:48:23.480Well, Steve, these are the principled people that actually are what make the people that make things happen in this party.
00:48:30.500They're the ones that stand up and fight back and knock on doors, make phone calls, do the things that need to be done.
00:48:36.600And if it weren't for the grassroots, there would be no party because we've seen at the RNC and also at the Georgia GOP that, you know, the base is everything.
00:48:46.460You cannot have a party without the base because they're the ones out there doing the work.
00:48:51.360And we saw that with Ronna, you know, with her leadership.
00:48:54.780When they changed leadership at the RNC, the money started flowing again.
00:48:58.260The base is energized because they believe in Michael Watley and Laura Trump.
00:49:01.780And so this is an opportunity for a new beginning, and I'm really excited about that.
00:49:06.880But at the end of the day, there are more of us than them, and we need to go out there and grow this party.
00:49:11.900And one of the problems is when you have people in the party that are bashing the grassroots, bashing Tea Party, I mean, that's not the way to grow the party.
00:49:24.500We need to be happy warriors and go out there and do our thing, and we need to win elections.
00:49:28.960Are you confident that RNC has totally seen the light?
00:49:32.240I mean, there have been some changes, but people got a lot of questions about actually what's going on.
00:49:36.700Is the rubber going to meet the road, not just get out to vote, but more importantly, to get after this election fraud?
00:49:42.380I mean, in Georgia, what was released in Georgia over the last couple of weeks, people's heads are blowing up.
00:49:47.200So what is your primary role on the RNC going to be?
00:49:50.120Well, I hope that we are seeing a change with the RNC and that they are going to have a big focus on securing our elections.
00:49:59.720That was the two things I ran on, is it's time to secure our elections and win again.
00:50:04.360So there are things happening at the RNC.
00:50:07.300They're working with the states, being proactive on the legal front, which is very good.
00:50:12.640They need to be doing that when, back in 2020, when Biden was announced that they had 600-plus lawyers across the country, you know, focused on the upcoming election.
00:50:34.200There are two right here in Georgia that I hope that they will pay attention to because the Georgia GOP is not engaged with them, and that's one in Cobb County about home rule.
00:50:43.740And we've lost that at the Georgia Supreme Court.
