Transcript

00:00:01.000 Turning are like the seasons. Every turning is necessary.
00:00:08.000 We discovered a recurring pattern and implicit in that pattern of generational recurrence
00:00:14.000 the idea of a rhythm, a pattern, a sequence of events that comes around again.
00:00:18.000 Nature-like cycles. Cities are founded, cities collapse, states rise, states fall.
00:00:25.000 Families can prosper, families can wither. All follow certain repeating cyclical patterns.
00:00:33.000 We end up inventing new cycles. So we have the financial market cycle, we have traffic cycles,
00:00:39.000 we have all kinds of modern high-tech cycles which we simply create.
00:00:43.000 There are four turnings, each one roughly 20 years or so long,
00:00:47.000 so an entire four turnings or a seculum lasts about 80 to 100 years.
00:00:55.000 A series of turnings that are launched by a so-called crisis war.
00:01:09.000 It's a time when there's a lot of genocide, a lot of killing, a lot of starvation, usually a lot of disease.
00:01:15.000 It's the worst times in history. And once one of those is over, everybody, both the victors and the losers,
00:01:22.000 make a vow that they, that was so horrible, it should never be allowed to happen again.
00:01:29.000 That's really the key to understanding what happens next.
00:01:32.000 The first turning is the high, like the 50s, that comes after the crisis.
00:01:36.000 It's a period of consolidation. It's a period of stable families and stable family structures.
00:01:41.000 Lots of kids are born. Lots of infrastructure is built.
00:01:44.000 But emotional life becomes more or less dead and begins to die out.
00:01:48.000 Baby boomers have no memory of World War II. Their childhood was the American high.
00:01:53.000 Next comes the awakening. The perfect little children of the high, like the boom generation, become young adults.
00:02:00.000 They came of age during that period of rapid social and cultural change
00:02:05.000 when we changed everything about how we felt, how we thought, how we talked, how we dressed.
00:02:09.000 We changed America's feelings about itself, our moral agenda.
00:02:14.000 Suddenly, their emotions break out and all hell breaks loose.
00:02:19.000 This became a generation of great passion, of youth anger that marked a rise at every age,
00:02:26.000 in drug use, teen pregnancy, crime, risk-taking, suicide.
00:02:35.000 Then comes the unraveling. In the awakening, the eternal truths, the verities that are built up in the high,
00:02:41.000 the values, are questioned. That process accelerates during the unraveling.
00:02:45.000 And restraints are broken down in personal life, in economic life, in political life.
00:02:51.000 Unravelings in America have certain common characteristics.
00:02:54.000 They tend to be eras of a lot of economic speculation and more and more stronger boom and bust cycles.
00:03:02.000 For example, line that up with the 1920s. Or go back to the 1850s in America.
00:03:08.000 Go back to the 1760s. Consider in the 1990s a decade of cynicism and bad manners
00:03:13.000 and public authority seemed to be pretty weak.
00:03:16.000 You notice repeatedly recurring again these eras that feel very similar.
00:03:21.000 Now, history teaches that usually, third turnings finally issue into a fourth turning.
00:03:33.000 A fourth turning is the crisis. And history shows that if an event doesn't trigger a fourth turning,
00:03:40.000 a fourth turning leader will actually encourage one to happen.
00:03:44.000 Or one will simply hit us because of all the deferred public decisions that weren't made during the recent third turning.
00:03:51.000 This comes to a head in the fourth turning.
00:03:53.000 These fourth turnings become new founding moments of our nation's history.
00:04:03.000 Obviously, one fourth turning was the period of the American Revolution.
00:04:07.000 Another fourth turning was the Civil War era in which we redefined who we were as a nation.
00:04:13.000 In World War II and the New Deal, think of everything that changed in that era.
00:04:19.000 We reestablished mankind's relationship with technology,
00:04:24.000 government's relationship with the economy,
00:04:27.000 America's relationship with the world.
00:04:30.000 Should all acquaintance be forgot,
00:04:44.000 and never brought to mind.
00:04:47.000 Should all acquaintance be forgot,
00:04:53.000 And days of Auld Lang Syne
00:04:59.880 For Auld Lang Syne, my dear
00:05:07.060 For Auld Lang Syne
00:05:14.320 We'll take a cup of kindness yet
00:05:21.880 For Auld Lang Syne
00:05:30.120 We do have a good
00:05:36.340 A great and full of love and shine
00:05:44.240 We'll walk and learn your weary foot
00:05:51.280 Sing Auld Lang Syne
00:05:58.400 For Auld Lang Syne, my dear
00:06:05.780 For Auld Lang Syne
00:06:12.520 We'll take a cup of kindness yet
00:06:19.640 For Auld Lang Syne
00:06:26.760 And here's the hand, my trusty friend
00:06:35.080 And here's the hand of Thine
00:06:42.200 We'll take a cup of kindness yet
00:06:48.520 For Auld Lang Syne
00:06:55.640 For Auld Lang Syne, my dear
00:07:03.020 For Auld Lang Syne
00:07:10.140 We'll take a cup of kindness yet
00:07:17.260 For Auld Lang Syne
00:07:24.380 For Auld Lang Syne, my dear
00:07:30.380 For Auld Lang Syne, my dear
00:07:37.500 For Auld Lang Syne
00:07:45.500 We'll take a cup of kindness yet
00:07:52.500 For Auld Lang Syne
00:07:59.620 For Auld Lang Syne
00:08:05.620 This is the primal scream of a dying regime
00:08:18.600 Pray for our enemies
00:08:20.980 Because we're going medieval
00:08:23.000 On these people
00:08:23.640 Here's the time I got a free shot
00:08:26.180 All these networks lying
00:08:27.560 About the people
00:08:29.160 The people have had a belly full of it
00:08:30.800 I know you don't like hearing that
00:08:32.360 I know you try to do everything
00:08:33.560 In the world to stop that
00:08:34.340 But you're not going to stop it
00:08:35.220 It's going to happen
00:08:36.360 And where do people like that
00:08:37.520 Go to share the big lie?
00:08:39.980 Mega media
00:08:40.900 I wish in my soul
00:08:42.940 I wish that any of these people
00:08:44.980 Had a conscience
00:08:46.000 Ask yourself
00:08:47.520 What is my task
00:08:48.840 And what is my purpose?
00:08:50.500 If that answer
00:08:51.640 Is to save my country
00:08:53.360 This country will be saved
00:08:56.720 War Room
00:08:57.360 Here's your host
00:08:58.740 Stephen K. Vann
00:09:00.100 It's Wednesday
00:09:07.200 1 January
00:09:08.500 In the year of our Lord
00:09:09.720 2025
00:09:11.220 How does that sound?
00:09:13.040 It's got a flow to it
00:09:14.120 Doesn't it?
00:09:14.980 2025
00:09:15.380 You're here in the War Room
00:09:17.760 And it's our New Year's Day special
00:09:20.000 And I'm going to be joined today
00:09:21.960 By our own Joe Allen
00:09:23.500 We're going to talk about
00:09:24.320 This whole techno-feudalism
00:09:26.280 And we're going to talk about
00:09:27.300 The singularity
00:09:30.100 And what's happening
00:09:30.940 And the convergence
00:09:32.120 Of all these different sciences
00:09:33.340 And what to look forward
00:09:34.660 And how big an issue
00:09:35.480 It's going to become in 2025
00:09:36.700 Sir Rahim Kassam
00:09:38.900 Is going to join us also
00:09:40.320 We're going to get into
00:09:41.000 This whole thing
00:09:41.640 That's going on with
00:09:43.260 Really with tech feudalism
00:09:45.300 And this underpinning
00:09:46.560 Of the
00:09:47.600 On the MAGA right
00:09:48.560 We'll get into that
00:09:49.400 In updates
00:09:51.140 And Sir Ben
00:09:52.640 Harnwell
00:09:53.260 Is going to join me
00:09:54.240 We're going to talk about
00:09:55.300 Geopolitics and all of it
00:09:56.500 But in our New Year's Day show
00:09:58.400 We try to both summarize
00:09:59.900 Kind of where we take off
00:10:01.620 On the New Year's Eve show
00:10:02.560 Summarize where we've been
00:10:04.360 And where we're going
00:10:05.320 Ben, just pull the camera back
00:10:07.820 For a second
00:10:08.320 You've been with us
00:10:09.000 For a number of years now
00:10:10.140 We're going to begin
00:10:11.940 I think 2025
00:10:13.020 Is going to be
00:10:14.840 The most intense
00:10:16.580 Consequential
00:10:18.360 Year in modern
00:10:19.880 World politics
00:10:21.320 It's going to be upon us
00:10:23.080 As this populist
00:10:23.960 Nationalist movement
00:10:24.740 Worldwide
00:10:25.340 Starts to get traction
00:10:26.500 But we still have
00:10:28.020 A massive fight
00:10:28.900 Against the
00:10:29.560 As you call them
00:10:30.620 Our sociopathic
00:10:31.680 Elite globalist
00:10:33.060 Tech overlords
00:10:34.080 Sir, can you
00:10:34.940 Frame it for us
00:10:35.800 What's
00:10:36.320 2025
00:10:37.320 Yes, Steve
00:10:39.780 I think you set that up
00:10:40.660 Perfectly
00:10:41.220 Only I would add
00:10:42.920 That the fight
00:10:44.320 Now in 2025
00:10:45.820 Seeing as MAGA
00:10:47.180 Has pretty much
00:10:47.720 Won the revolution
00:10:48.860 Inside the GOP
00:10:50.660 This fight
00:10:51.640 Is going to be
00:10:52.080 Within MAGA
00:10:52.700 I think within the
00:10:53.740 America First movement
00:10:55.300 President Trump
00:10:56.240 Has all the cards
00:10:58.200 In his hand
00:10:58.700 To do what he needs
00:10:59.760 To do
00:11:00.260 To do what he wants
00:11:01.380 To do
00:11:01.800 The question is
00:11:02.620 What does he want to do
00:11:04.020 That's I think
00:11:04.920 The issue that
00:11:05.540 That's going to
00:11:06.300 Evolve
00:11:07.080 Over the course
00:11:08.320 Of the next
00:11:08.720 12 months
00:11:09.360 And if you look
00:11:10.180 A couple of days
00:11:10.760 To go over
00:11:11.280 The fighting
00:11:12.260 Over this
00:11:13.060 H-1B
00:11:14.060 Visa issue
00:11:15.540 And then of course
00:11:16.140 Again a couple of days
00:11:17.080 To go
00:11:17.340 President Trump
00:11:18.140 Came out
00:11:18.520 And fully endorsed
00:11:19.500 Mike Johnson
00:11:20.500 And looking at
00:11:22.180 The resistance
00:11:22.740 Of these things
00:11:24.960 From within
00:11:26.020 Looking at the
00:11:26.640 Comments
00:11:27.000 Threads
00:11:27.420 On Get
00:11:27.860 And what have you
00:11:28.420 These things
00:11:30.420 Are not going down
00:11:31.460 Well
00:11:31.820 With the base
00:11:32.640 With the movement
00:11:33.380 And I think
00:11:35.100 That's setting up
00:11:35.800 This issue
00:11:36.320 For the whole
00:11:37.380 Of this year
00:11:38.440 Now
00:11:38.680 2025
00:11:39.340 Not next year
00:11:40.060 This year
00:11:40.620 We're going to
00:11:42.500 Work out
00:11:44.020 Exactly
00:11:44.660 What this movement
00:11:46.020 Intends to do
00:11:46.980 With not only
00:11:47.740 With this
00:11:48.180 Administration
00:11:48.760 But also
00:11:49.660 For the next
00:11:50.140 Generation's fight
00:11:51.140 That this
00:11:51.720 Administration is going
00:11:52.740 To lead to lead
00:11:53.100 To lead the land
00:11:53.440 Let's pull it back
00:11:57.880 When we look at
00:11:58.420 The geopolitics
00:11:59.640 And the world stage
00:12:00.860 We've got a minute
00:12:01.400 Or two here
00:12:02.080 In this block
00:12:03.600 You've been
00:12:04.400 Our closest
00:12:05.140 Because you're
00:12:05.860 The outpost
00:12:06.620 In Rome
00:12:07.140 Of following
00:12:08.100 The Ukraine
00:12:09.040 Situation
00:12:09.620 But President Trump
00:12:10.800 Because we have
00:12:11.240 Three kind of things
00:12:11.980 He's got to do
00:12:12.440 Simultaneously
00:12:13.000 One is in
00:12:14.560 The third world war
00:12:16.620 Is now in its
00:12:17.160 Initial kinetic phase
00:12:18.680 He's got to step in
00:12:20.140 And end that
00:12:20.800 He's got the
00:12:21.700 Deportations
00:12:22.560 Of the 15 million
00:12:23.920 And ending
00:12:24.900 The legal migration
00:12:26.140 I think
00:12:26.520 Or quote unquote
00:12:27.140 Legal migration
00:12:28.500 Just a joke
00:12:29.280 And then deal
00:12:32.060 With all this
00:12:32.820 Massive
00:12:33.580 Debt problems
00:12:35.220 And quite frankly
00:12:36.060 He's doing it
00:12:36.780 For the United States
00:12:37.400 And our currency
00:12:38.080 Because it underpins
00:12:39.420 The entire world system
00:12:40.520 Of 300 trillion
00:12:41.480 Of debt
00:12:42.900 Your assessment
00:12:44.040 Well two of these issues
00:12:46.660 Ukraine
00:12:47.460 And the budget
00:12:49.200 President Trump
00:12:50.360 In endorsing
00:12:51.200 Fully endorsing
00:12:52.260 I might add
00:12:52.920 Mike
00:12:53.580 Johnson
00:12:54.600 He's keeping
00:12:56.420 In the key
00:12:57.340 Position
00:12:58.040 The head of the apex
00:12:59.320 A person who's
00:13:00.480 Singularly responsible
00:13:01.580 For two of these issues
00:13:03.260 Steve
00:13:03.940 Which you have been
00:13:04.860 Repeating for months
00:13:05.980 And months
00:13:06.380 And months now
00:13:07.180 Unchanged
00:13:08.780 And as we know
00:13:09.960 Personnel is policy
00:13:11.660 So look
00:13:13.380 I go back to
00:13:14.600 What I said before
00:13:15.400 These issues
00:13:16.240 Will need to be
00:13:16.980 Worked out
00:13:17.540 And I'm sorry
00:13:19.060 To have to say this
00:13:19.760 To the war in posse
00:13:20.720 I'd like to say
00:13:21.900 Look go and have
00:13:22.500 Picnics
00:13:23.120 Relax
00:13:23.940 Chill
00:13:24.660 We won the election
00:13:26.040 In November
00:13:27.800 So look
00:13:28.460 We can relax
00:13:29.960 It's not going to be
00:13:30.640 Like that
00:13:31.040 I think really now
00:13:32.060 More than ever before
00:13:33.120 More than the election
00:13:33.840 Itself
00:13:34.280 The war in posse
00:13:36.780 We're going to have
00:13:37.940 To all of us
00:13:38.540 Collectively
00:13:38.980 Keep our shoulder
00:13:40.060 To the wheel
00:13:41.660 You know
00:13:43.720 We won the
00:13:44.440 Important part
00:13:45.400 Of getting
00:13:46.560 Donald Trump
00:13:47.080 Back into the
00:13:47.640 White House
00:13:47.940 You thought you
00:13:48.380 You thought you
00:13:50.440 You thought you
00:13:51.120 Were going to get
00:13:51.420 On a vacation
00:13:51.940 Hang over a second
00:13:52.720 Ben joins us
00:13:54.240 From the eternal
00:13:55.140 City
00:13:55.840 That would be Rome
00:13:56.800 We've got Raheem's
00:13:58.380 Going to join us
00:13:58.980 Joe Allen's
00:13:59.520 Going to join us
00:13:59.920 I couldn't think
00:14:00.740 Of a better group
00:14:02.060 To kick off
00:14:04.040 The most intense
00:14:06.760 The most important
00:14:08.440 The most impactful
00:14:11.360 Don't even know
00:14:12.420 If that's a word
00:14:13.080 Year
00:14:14.540 In not just
00:14:15.700 Our nation's history
00:14:16.600 But the world's history
00:14:18.060 We started with
00:14:18.820 My film
00:14:19.660 Generation Zero
00:14:21.400 About turnings
00:14:23.440 We're in a fourth
00:14:23.920 Turning now
00:14:24.760 Talk more about that
00:14:25.960 We'll drill down
00:14:26.500 All of it
00:14:27.060 I think this is
00:14:27.740 The Dublin
00:14:28.300 Girls Choir
00:14:29.740 Amazing
00:14:30.580 We're going to play
00:14:31.220 A lot of different
00:14:31.860 Versions of
00:14:32.460 Auld Lang Syne
00:14:33.340 Today
00:14:33.640 Short commercial break
00:14:34.760 Back in a moment
00:14:35.360 It's obvious
00:15:01.040 The unthinkable
00:15:02.280 Continues
00:15:02.940 Most Americans
00:15:03.620 Know something
00:15:04.400 Is very
00:15:05.320 Very wrong
00:15:06.700 The people in charge
00:15:08.180 Keep telling you
00:15:08.800 That everything's fine
00:15:09.880 And to stop noticing
00:15:11.260 But you know better
00:15:12.140 That's why
00:15:13.300 Self-reliant folks

00:16:09.060 Action
00:16:09.640 Action
00:16:10.300 Action
00:16:10.960 Should all acquaintance
00:16:12.480 Be forgot
00:16:14.360 And never brought
00:16:17.640 To mind
00:16:20.460 Should all acquaintance
00:16:24.840 Be forgot
00:16:26.980 And days of
00:16:29.960 Auld Lang Syne
00:16:33.540 For auld Lang Syne
00:16:39.780 Okay
00:16:41.280 That's the
00:16:44.600 Robert Shaw
00:16:46.080 Chorale
00:16:46.800 And I love
00:16:48.120 I've always loved
00:16:48.880 The sound of
00:16:49.740 A cappella
00:16:51.560 With male voices
00:16:53.600 And Robert Shaw
00:16:54.440 Chorale has always
00:16:54.980 Been my favorite
00:16:55.720 One of my favorites
00:16:56.520 Ben joins us
00:16:59.020 From the Eternal City
00:17:00.580 From Rome
00:17:01.140 Ben when I say
00:17:03.600 This is going to be
00:17:04.120 The most consequential
00:17:05.280 The most
00:17:06.140 Urgent
00:17:07.480 The most intense
00:17:08.640 And I believe
00:17:09.780 The most dangerous
00:17:10.840 Year
00:17:12.540 And I say this
00:17:13.340 After a stunning
00:17:14.140 Victory
00:17:14.660 A sweeping victory
00:17:15.860 On November 5th
00:17:17.660 Why do you think
00:17:19.060 One do you agree
00:17:20.040 With me
00:17:20.420 And two
00:17:20.900 If so
00:17:21.660 Why
00:17:22.140 Yeah I do
00:17:24.240 And let's use
00:17:26.120 The Thucydides
00:17:27.460 Trap analogy
00:17:28.900 Within a single
00:17:30.720 Country
00:17:31.120 What you have
00:17:32.200 Within a single
00:17:33.380 Territory here
00:17:34.220 Is a declining
00:17:36.200 Hegemon
00:17:36.840 That is to say
00:17:37.580 Our sociopathic
00:17:38.580 Overlords
00:17:39.500 Being replaced
00:17:40.420 By an emerging
00:17:41.200 Power
00:17:41.660 And that's the
00:17:42.100 American First
00:17:42.780 Movement
00:17:43.220 And as you
00:17:44.420 Introduce this
00:17:45.380 Concept to
00:17:46.280 Wide
00:17:46.680 Popular
00:17:47.560 Comprehension
00:17:49.280 I think it's a
00:17:50.840 Perfect way to
00:17:51.640 Illustrate
00:17:52.000 This
00:17:52.480 Declining
00:17:53.520 Regime
00:17:54.480 Is not going
00:17:55.640 To go
00:17:55.960 Peacefully
00:17:56.560 Into that
00:17:57.140 Dark night
00:17:58.320 Not by any
00:18:00.480 Means
00:18:00.640 It's going to
00:18:01.060 Fight and
00:18:01.680 Fight and
00:18:02.180 Fight and
00:18:02.620 Make it as
00:18:03.060 Difficult as
00:18:03.520 Possible
00:18:03.660 That's why
00:18:04.540 It's so
00:18:04.900 Dangerous
00:18:05.540 It's not
00:18:06.040 Just a
00:18:06.320 Cape
00:18:06.480 We're not
00:18:06.760 Just in
00:18:07.180 Any other
00:18:07.640 Election
00:18:08.520 Year here
00:18:09.460 Or off the
00:18:10.640 Back of any
00:18:11.100 Other election
00:18:11.740 Year
00:18:11.920 We're in a
00:18:12.360 Situation
00:18:12.800 Where there
00:18:13.700 Is as you
00:18:14.180 Are pointing
00:18:15.060 Out
00:18:15.420 The seeds
00:18:18.280 The threads
00:18:19.100 Of this
00:18:20.020 Third world
00:18:20.860 War dynamic
00:18:21.520 Are clearly
00:18:22.900 Already well
00:18:23.840 Woven
00:18:24.480 Into the
00:18:25.160 Fabric of
00:18:25.640 International
00:18:26.100 Politics
00:18:26.760 That is why
00:18:27.980 The replacement
00:18:28.880 Of our
00:18:29.280 Sociopathic
00:18:29.960 Overlords
00:18:30.360 Is so
00:18:30.760 Dangerous
00:18:31.220 Who knows
00:18:32.160 What they
00:18:32.880 Are going
00:18:33.320 To do
00:18:34.000 When I
00:18:35.260 Say they're
00:18:35.840 Going to
00:18:35.980 Make it as
00:18:36.340 Difficult as
00:18:37.160 Possible
00:18:37.540 For
00:18:38.040 Donald
00:18:38.880 Trump
00:18:39.260 Who knows
00:18:40.240 What the
00:18:40.820 Limits are
00:18:41.360 If there
00:18:41.700 Are limits
00:18:42.120 To things
00:18:42.640 That they
00:18:42.920 Can do
00:18:43.360 But to
00:18:45.100 Give just
00:18:45.780 One example
00:18:46.540 Sergei
00:18:48.200 Lavrov
00:18:48.760 The Russian
00:18:49.440 Foreign Minister
00:18:49.960 Said a couple
00:18:50.460 Of days ago
00:18:51.040 That Russia
00:18:52.280 Was going to
00:18:52.960 Remove its
00:18:53.700 Moratorium
00:18:54.300 On its
00:18:54.780 Medium and
00:18:55.460 Long range
00:18:56.080 Missiles
00:18:56.720 Following
00:18:57.340 Acts that
00:18:58.340 It caused
00:18:58.800 Similar acts
00:18:59.720 Of aggression
00:19:00.160 Led by the
00:19:00.840 United States
00:19:01.680 All I can
00:19:02.800 Say
00:19:02.980 Steve is
00:19:03.880 That January
00:19:04.560 The 20th
00:19:05.120 Cannot
00:19:05.620 Come
00:19:06.220 Quickly
00:19:06.900 Enough
00:19:07.520 To try
00:19:09.040 And bring
00:19:09.320 Some
00:19:09.520 De-escalation
00:19:10.560 To this
00:19:11.220 But then
00:19:11.620 By
00:19:11.840 You know
00:19:12.480 We know
00:19:13.300 That the
00:19:14.100 Tentacles
00:19:14.680 Of the
00:19:15.380 Military
00:19:15.680 Industrial
00:19:16.120 Complex
00:19:17.120 Are still
00:19:17.860 Very much
00:19:18.360 Alive
00:19:18.980 They operate
00:19:19.980 Throughout
00:19:20.660 NATO
00:19:21.200 Which is
00:19:21.740 Its
00:19:21.960 Effectively
00:19:22.780 International
00:19:23.280 Puppets
00:19:24.140 So there's
00:19:26.320 Much to be
00:19:26.940 Attentive of
00:19:27.820 I'll just
00:19:28.640 Say this
00:19:29.020 Point
00:19:29.340 Again a
00:19:29.900 Couple of
00:19:30.160 Days ago
00:19:30.560 We saw
00:19:30.960 On the
00:19:31.700 News
00:19:32.020 That Joe
00:19:32.700 Biden
00:19:33.040 In a
00:19:34.080 Single
00:19:34.340 Day
00:19:34.720 Had
00:19:35.700 Authorised
00:19:36.480 Six
00:19:36.920 Billion
00:19:37.400 Worth
00:19:38.100 Of
00:19:38.800 New
00:19:39.540 Military
00:19:40.380 And budget
00:19:41.340 Aid
00:19:41.640 Support
00:19:42.280 To
00:19:42.600 Ukraine
00:19:43.220 This is
00:19:43.980 A
00:19:44.600 Regime
00:19:45.140 Which is
00:19:45.640 Losing
00:19:46.600 The war
00:19:47.380 There's
00:19:47.900 An article
00:19:48.320 In
00:19:48.540 Bloomberg
00:19:48.880 I don't
00:19:49.360 Know
00:19:49.520 If you
00:19:49.880 Saw
00:19:50.100 This
00:19:50.400 Saying
00:19:51.100 Literally
00:19:53.020 That
00:19:53.480 Ukraine
00:19:54.240 Is losing
00:19:54.840 This war
00:19:55.320 But
00:19:55.780 The press
00:19:56.840 Even
00:19:57.220 The
00:19:57.380 Mainstream
00:19:57.720 Press
00:19:58.240 Have
00:19:58.600 Been
00:19:58.740 Repeating
00:19:59.200 That
00:19:59.460 Now
00:19:59.780 Over
00:20:00.760 The
00:20:01.120 Course
00:20:01.380 Of
00:20:01.500 The
00:20:01.620 Last
00:20:01.980 12
00:20:02.640 Months
00:20:02.920 Ukraine
00:20:03.200 Will
00:20:03.620 Lose
00:20:03.980 This
00:20:04.260 War
00:20:04.560 The
00:20:04.920 Question
00:20:05.200 Is
00:20:05.440 What
00:20:05.980 Will
00:20:06.180 Our
00:20:06.360 Sociopathic
00:20:07.040 Overlords
00:20:07.580 Do
00:20:07.960 Off
00:20:08.620 The
00:20:08.800 Back
00:20:09.060 Of
00:20:09.260 That
00:20:09.600 To
00:20:10.700 Create
00:20:11.220 A
00:20:12.360 Situation
00:20:12.860 For
00:20:13.380 Donald
00:20:13.680 Trump
00:20:14.040 Where
00:20:14.560 I
00:20:15.060 Suppose
00:20:15.340 What
00:20:15.720 They
00:20:15.860 Really
00:20:16.060 Want
00:20:16.340 To
00:20:16.520 Do
00:20:16.660 Is
00:20:16.760 To
00:20:16.860 Make
00:20:17.080 Him
00:20:17.240 Sit
00:20:17.760 In
00:20:18.080 The
00:20:18.380 Office
00:20:18.860 Late
00:20:19.260 At
00:20:19.320 Night
00:20:19.540 With
00:20:19.680 His
00:20:19.820 Head
00:20:20.020 In
00:20:20.140 His
00:20:20.300 Hands
00:20:20.700 And
00:20:21.300 Say
00:20:21.480 God
00:20:21.760 I
00:20:21.900 Wish
00:20:22.080 I
00:20:22.200 Never
00:20:22.400 Won
00:20:22.580 This
00:20:22.740 Election
00:20:23.120 That's
00:20:23.720 Their
00:20:29.780 Part
00:20:30.000 Of
00:20:30.080 The
00:20:30.200 Third
00:20:30.440 World
00:20:30.720 War
00:20:31.120 It
00:20:31.960 Concerns
00:20:32.460 Me
00:20:32.560 I
00:20:32.700 Want
00:20:32.840 To
00:20:32.920 Go
00:20:33.020 Back
00:20:33.460 To
00:20:34.020 What
00:20:34.220 You
00:20:34.340 Said
00:20:34.540 It's
00:20:34.660 Quite
00:20:34.860 Brilliant
00:20:35.320 You
00:20:36.020 Made
00:20:36.180 This
00:20:36.380 Analogy
00:20:36.860 Thucydides
00:20:37.720 Trap
00:20:38.280 Was
00:20:39.000 Graham
00:20:39.380 Allison's
00:20:40.120 Construct
00:20:40.880 In
00:20:41.620 Talking
00:20:41.940 About

00:27:34.620 The
00:28:01.680 And now he lives in many long days.
00:28:10.680 Could all the acquaintances be forgot
00:28:18.680 And never brought to mind
00:28:26.680 Should all the acquaintances be forgot
00:28:34.680 In the days of old Lang Syne.
00:28:43.680 For old Lang Syne, my dear,
00:28:52.680 For old Lang Syne.
00:29:00.680 We'll take a cup of kindness.
00:29:06.680 It's really you.
00:29:08.680 Darling, let me look at you.
00:29:11.680 Of old Lang Syne.
00:29:19.680 Could all the acquaintances be forgot
00:29:27.680 And never brought to mind
00:29:36.680 Through all the acquaintances be forgot
00:29:44.680 In the days of old Lang Syne.
00:29:50.680 We'll take a cup of kindness.
00:30:00.680 For the sake of old Lang Syne.
00:30:04.680 The sake of old Lang Syne.
00:30:14.680 Okay, that's from Waterloo Bridge in 1939.
00:30:26.680 Talk about a young woman on a roll.
00:30:28.680 1939, Gone with the Wind.
00:30:30.680 Totally completely unknown actress.
00:30:32.680 Carries, at the time, the most important film Hollywood had made.
00:30:36.680 And she's virtually in every scene.
00:30:38.680 Just an absolute masterpiece as Scarlett O'Hara.
00:30:40.680 In 1940 under Mervyn Leroy,
00:30:44.680 One of the great directors of Hollywood
00:30:46.680 Makes Waterloo Bridge a tearjerker
00:30:48.680 About an army officer and a ballerina
00:30:52.680 That if you haven't seen it,
00:30:54.680 I strongly recommend it.
00:30:56.680 Black and white, but absolutely stunning
00:30:58.680 And Vivian Leigh at her best.
00:31:00.680 In 1941, my favorite.
00:31:02.680 That Hamilton woman about Lady Hamilton.
00:31:04.680 A kind of a notorious figure.
00:31:06.680 And, um,
00:31:08.680 Admiral Nelson.
00:31:10.680 Horatio Nelson, the love affair they had.
00:31:12.680 And of course what he did for the British Empire.
00:31:14.680 That movie is quite controversial
00:31:16.680 Because later there's going to be a congressional investigation
00:31:18.680 After the war had started.
00:31:20.680 I think it was actually after the Pearl Harbor Commission
00:31:22.680 During the Pearl Harbor Commission
00:31:24.680 Because they wanted the British intelligence
00:31:26.680 Uh, had gone a long way to make sure that film was distributed
00:31:30.680 In the United States.
00:31:32.680 It's Winston Churchill's favorite film.
00:31:34.680 He played it at Checkers all the time.
00:31:36.680 The country estate that he had.
00:31:38.680 And he used to show it to, uh,
00:31:40.680 To every dignitary or person that came out there
00:31:42.680 For a weekend meeting.
00:31:44.680 Absolutely.
00:31:45.680 I've already watched the film like 200 times
00:31:47.680 Screened it one time, I think
00:31:49.680 On the transit, uh,
00:31:51.680 The first transit that he did
00:31:53.680 To come over here off of Nova Scotia
00:31:55.680 For the, uh, for the first meeting that they had.
00:31:58.680 I think before even, uh,
00:32:00.680 World War II commenced for us at Pearl Harbor.
00:32:02.680 That Hamilton woman.
00:32:04.680 So Ben Harnwell on a, uh,
00:32:06.680 Now why am I doing that?
00:32:07.680 I don't know.
00:32:08.680 It's, it's a New Year's.
00:32:10.680 The film's kind of based around New Year's
00:32:12.680 And, and beginnings.
00:32:13.680 It's always been a, um,
00:32:14.680 People know I'm a Vivian Lee fan.
00:32:16.680 And, uh, I've always been amazed
00:32:18.680 That when people have runs like that.
00:32:20.680 1939, 1940, 1941
00:32:22.680 To make three classics of what she carries
00:32:25.680 Against the top leading men of her day.
00:32:28.680 Clark Gable, Robert Taylor, Sir Laurence Olivier.
00:32:31.680 She carries all three films and steals every scene.
00:32:34.680 Um, and, and that Hamilton woman,
00:32:37.680 Uh, absolutely central kind of the,
00:32:39.680 How the British thought about it themselves
00:32:41.680 Because they have this brilliant speech
00:32:43.680 In the middle of it
00:32:44.680 Where Laurence Olivier playing Hamilton
00:32:46.680 Is trying to explain to the British Admiralty
00:32:49.680 How a little nation like Great Britain
00:32:51.680 Can stand, uh, can beat off Napoleon.
00:32:54.680 Which is really the analogy Churchill
00:32:56.680 Was trying to have made at the time of
00:32:57.680 Great Britain standing in the breach
00:33:00.680 Against, uh, Adolf Hitler.
00:33:02.680 Your thoughts, sir?
00:33:04.680 Well, see, you, you want to segue, right?
00:33:06.680 Uh, I'll give you one.
00:33:08.680 I'm going to pick, leap off you talking about
00:33:11.680 Czechos, which is the, uh, is, is the weekend
00:33:14.680 Country retreats of British Prime Ministers
00:33:18.680 Historically.
00:33:19.680 Um, let's talk about who might be a
00:33:21.680 Future tenant of Chequers.
00:33:24.680 Uh, you asked me, Steve, you remember a
00:33:26.680 Year ago, exactly a year ago, um, on a
00:33:29.680 New Year's Eve show, not, not literally a
00:33:32.680 Year then, sort of 364 days ago.
00:33:35.680 You asked me to identify the, the, the story
00:33:38.680 From 2023, which I thought was going to be the
00:33:41.680 Big issue in 2024.
00:33:43.680 And then I picked the story I picked.
00:33:45.680 I know Raheem's going to be on later.
00:33:47.680 Um, the story I picked was the replacement of the
00:33:53.680 Of the Tory party, the British Conservative Party, the
00:33:56.680 World's oldest political party by Nigel Farage.
00:34:00.680 Um, and over the course of the last 12 months, I have
00:34:03.680 To say that prediction has been pretty spot on.
00:34:05.680 Just recently, um, a couple of weeks ago that the
00:34:08.680 Latest polls basically put all three major political
00:34:12.680 Parties on around 25%, give or take the margin of
00:34:16.680 Error.
00:34:17.680 Reforms are slightly ahead.
00:34:18.680 If you want to know specifically slightly ahead of
00:34:20.680 The Tories, um, and Labour slightly ahead of
00:34:23.680 Reform.
00:34:24.680 But it's all margin of error stuff.
00:34:25.680 It's all banging around 25%.
00:34:27.680 If this, right, if this trend continues, um, next
00:34:33.680 Year, that will be, I, I think, Nigel Farage will
00:34:36.680 Be Prime Minister.
00:34:38.680 Um, and if this trend continues.
00:34:41.680 You asked me just a short while ago other things in
00:34:44.680 Europe and other developments in Europe.
00:34:46.680 I cannot talk about the growth and strength of Reform
00:34:49.680 U.K.
00:34:50.680 Without just mentioning what's happening with the
00:34:52.680 AFD, uh, in Germany.
00:34:54.680 Now, they have an election in, um, in February.
00:34:58.680 It's February, I think the 23rd or something like
00:35:00.680 That.
00:35:01.680 And they are looking to increase in the polls by
00:35:03.680 About eight or nine.
00:35:04.680 They are presently nine percent ahead of where
00:35:07.680 They were, uh, in the last election.
00:35:09.680 And they're looking to gain about 50% of their seats
00:35:12.680 So about 80 something up to about 110, 120 seats.
00:35:17.680 Um, and that will have massive repercussions for the
00:35:20.680 whole of the European Union.
00:35:22.680 Uh, because Germany is the largest economy, largest
00:35:25.680 Population by far in the European Union.
00:35:28.680 Um, and if the, the, the growth and strength of the
00:35:31.680 AFD in that country, uh, it, uh, that will manifest itself
00:35:37.680 Then that will have, as I say, repercussions across the
00:35:40.680 The rest of the European Union.
00:35:41.680 Is the, is the, is the, is the European Union and, and NATO
00:35:46.680 And all of it going the way of the Holy Roman Empire?
00:35:52.680 That, that was thanks to Napoleon, right?
00:35:55.680 A thousand year, effectively, that, that, that, that, the
00:35:58.680 Holy Roman Empire, a thousand year long reign
00:36:01.680 That's kicked off on Christmas Day, 1800, by Charlemagne
00:36:05.680 And, uh, all of those Habsburg
00:36:07.680 800
00:36:08.680 They, they, they, they all, they all disappeared by, uh, by
00:36:12.680 Napoleon, right?
00:36:13.680 Um, more or less.
00:36:14.680 And then the first world war in that hundred year stretch.
00:36:17.680 Is this going the way?
00:36:18.680 You know, I, I would sooner say, he of the famous, addressing
00:36:22.680 he of the famous T-shirt, I would sooner say that
00:36:25.680 Occupied Europe is going to go the way of Constantinople.
00:36:29.680 Um, because, you know, at the end of the day, the, the
00:36:33.680 Holy Roman Empire, uh, dissolved into its various
00:36:37.680 Sub, sub, sub, sub, sub, uh, sub nations pretty much led
00:36:42.680 at the end, hanging on, uh, the, the Austro-Hungarian Empire
00:36:45.680 at the end of the day, uh, by the Habsburgs.
00:36:48.680 And then that, that, that petered out, uh, the first world war,
00:36:51.680 but the countries stayed intact, more or less.
00:36:54.680 What we're going to see in Europe, I think is a far more substantial,
00:36:58.680 um, change to the whole fabric of the nation.
00:37:01.680 It would be more akin to the fall of the Roman Empire, I think,
00:37:04.680 than the Holy Roman Empire.
00:37:07.680 Do you, uh, why do you think, before I, I know you gotta bounce,
00:37:10.680 but on this New Year's Day and looking forward,
00:37:13.680 and we have all the things that have the conversion
00:37:16.680 from President Trump, why do you think, I mean,
00:37:19.680 what's your argument for the intensity and the complexity
00:37:23.680 and the urgency, but most important, the consequences of this year?
00:37:28.680 Um, well, probably I'd put it like this.
00:37:33.680 If you're talking about the United States,
00:37:35.680 which is culturally, economically, militarily,
00:37:39.680 they're the most powerful nation on the planet.
00:37:43.680 Um, it, it's intense both within the United States
00:37:47.680 and because of the importance of the United States,
00:37:49.680 uh, for all the rest of the populist nationalist movements.
00:37:53.680 I can only go back to what I said before.
00:37:55.680 This movement, this America First movement,
00:37:58.680 has a lot of work to do this year in 2025
00:38:01.680 to, to see what the potential of the Trump administration is,
00:38:07.680 uh, what direction that goes in.
00:38:10.680 There are some good things to look at.
00:38:11.680 There are some less positive things,
00:38:13.680 but that's to be expected, right?
00:38:15.680 Um, that is entirely to be expected.
00:38:18.680 We're not going to ever get everything that we want.
00:38:21.680 Um, but in four years, we can move a long way towards it.
00:38:24.680 Uh, which is why I was saying that this movement needs to stand,
00:38:27.680 um, uh, as, as attentive, uh,
00:38:31.680 as it has been doing over the last few years.
00:38:34.680 The reason it's so intense, Steve, looking at specifically,
00:38:37.680 addressing myself specifically to the United States,
00:38:39.680 but it's pretty much the same across the European Union,
00:38:42.680 is that half the population draws its, its sustenance, its income,
00:38:48.680 its pensions off the backs of the other half that actually have normal,
00:38:52.680 ordinary, regular working jobs in the private sector.
00:38:55.680 Um, and they're not going to give up their privileges willingly.
00:39:00.680 Um, that's why it's intense.
00:39:02.680 And they've never really been threatened seriously in the past.
00:39:06.680 What Donald Trump has with it, with this popular mandate behind him,
00:39:11.680 uh, with his, you know, let's even mention,
00:39:14.680 let's even mention on this subject, uh, Elon Musk,
00:39:17.680 what he has with, with, with, uh, with, uh, Twitter,
00:39:20.680 with X at his disposal, at Donald Trump's disposal,
00:39:23.680 is something that this system has never had to confront before.
00:39:26.680 Um, and they are going to be fighting for this,
00:39:29.680 for, for their livelihoods, this half of the nation,
00:39:32.680 um, which, which exists of the back of the other working half.
00:39:36.680 Um, that's why it's intense.
00:39:38.680 Um, and that's to be, that's entirely human nature.
00:39:41.680 It's entirely to be expected.
00:39:42.680 Um, but these people are going to fight to protect,
00:39:46.680 to protect, to protect their prerogatives,
00:39:48.680 just like the ancient regime fought and fought and fought,
00:39:51.680 um, in pre-revolutionary France,
00:39:54.680 didn't give away any of its privileges.
00:39:56.680 And in the end, well, we know what happened in 1789.
00:39:59.680 It was, it was swept aside.
00:40:01.680 Um, and you've used this analogy yourself.
00:40:04.680 Um, in this, in, in America, Steve, in the States,
00:40:08.680 you know, your famous quotes, there's, I'm telling,
00:40:10.680 I'm telling the billionaires all the time that we're heading
00:40:13.680 into a French revolution period.
00:40:15.680 That's absolutely the case.
00:40:17.680 That is the dynamic.
00:40:18.680 Um, and it's not a consequence of the free market.
00:40:22.680 It's a consequence of the system having been gained in favour
00:40:26.680 of the, the, the plutocracy in favour of the billionaires.
00:40:31.680 Um, and there's no evidence that this system is willing to, uh,
00:40:35.680 to bend and yield to someone like Donald Trump.
00:40:38.680 So we'll, we'll see not just in the course of this year,
00:40:41.680 but in the course of the whole, uh, the whole term,
00:40:44.680 whole four year term, we will see who wins that in the end.
00:40:47.680 Can you hang over one second?
00:40:51.680 I want to talk to you about Constantinople.
00:40:53.680 There's a, uh, something my family put up on Christmas day.
00:40:58.680 That's gone mega viral throughout the world.
00:41:00.680 We'll show you and have Ben and I'll even have Raheem comment on it.
00:41:05.680 This is the Dublin girls choir thing.
00:41:07.680 Dublin college girls choir, quite beautiful rendition of Auld Lang Syne.
00:41:11.680 Birch go sit, go over and make yourself a big old pot of coffee for the second hour.
00:41:15.680 Or for the D block in the second hour.
00:41:20.680 Birch, uh, Warpath coffee, Warpath.coffee, check out the reviews.
00:41:25.680 If you put in War Room, you get a 15% discount, but don't take it from me.
00:41:30.680 Six thousand five-star reviews from posse members, just like yourself.
00:41:35.680 When you drink Warpath, you'll never go back to your regular coffee.
00:41:40.680 Tej Gill and the team of Navy SEALs, a coffee as great as the weapons of the Navy SEALs.
00:41:44.680 Short commercial break.
00:41:46.680 Ben's going to stick around.
00:41:47.680 I think we're going to try to get Sir Raheem up.
00:41:50.680 We're going to talk about Constantinople, the Ottoman Turks and the Caliphate.
00:41:55.680 Next on a New Year's Day.
00:41:56.680 The New Year's Day.
00:41:58.680 To have had a little stream of the morning sun till die for save.
00:42:09.680 Should old acquaintance be forgot and never brought to mind, should old acquaintance be forgot and days of old lang syne.
00:42:34.500 Beautiful. Make sure you get the birch gold into the dollar empire. We try to make sure you're up to speed on all the big ideas because ideas have, in the world of the war room, ideas have consequences.
00:42:48.040 Earth-shattering consequences, ideas like the fourth turning, ideas like techno-feudalism, ideas like what is a pandemic, what is herd immunity, and ideas like modern monetary theory, an idea that was never really debated but ended up breaking the world monetary system.
00:43:09.740 You're going to find out why in the new free installment. Birchgold.com slash Bannon. Get it today. It's a holiday weekend assignment. We need you up to speed on this.
00:43:18.820 So, Ben, at the Christmas dinner that we do every year with the Bannon clan, I was given a gift from my beloved younger brother, kid brother, Navy pilot.
00:43:31.840 And he gave me the t-shirt and I just held it up. Free Constantinople. And I think Rahim had dinner with us. Sir Rahim was with us. And it went viral. Millions of hits. And particularly in Turkey and Greece sucked up a lot of media time.
00:43:51.700 Why is this such a hot issue in Turkey, brother?
00:43:58.540 Because only in the secular West is history considered to be something that has very little relationship to today.
00:44:09.280 The rest of the world, and especially in the Islamic sphere, history is a key part of – it's not just yesterday's politics.
00:44:18.340 It's the directional arrow that explains where you are, how you got there and where you're going.
00:44:23.960 Look, look, Constantinople fell in 1453, right? Almost a thousand years, slightly more than a thousand years after the fall of Rome itself, second Rome, Constantinople.
00:44:41.640 It's a big issue in Turkey because the Turks are – there are people via Asia Minor that go back to at least the New Testament times.
00:44:54.260 They have a history. They have a very proud history, a noble history via the Ottoman Empire.
00:45:00.620 And they're conscious of that.
00:45:03.620 We in the West, you know, thanks to the progressive education, we've brainwashed the last three or four generations into being absolutely ashamed of all the good points of our history.
00:45:16.580 That doesn't really exist elsewhere in the world where they'll take elements that they're proud of and there'll be vibrant points throughout the culture.
00:45:26.660 So, yeah, I mean, it was a – your T-shirt is a provocation.
00:45:30.460 I mean, you know, free Constantinople, I don't know who we would free it for.
00:45:36.300 There were only a couple – 2,000, 2,500 practicing Orthodox Christians left in Istanbul.
00:45:45.180 Well, when I mentioned earlier that Europe is heading to perhaps a Constantinople point rather than a collapse of the Holy Roman Empire,
00:45:58.100 what I meant is a full-on cultural change.
00:46:02.320 Nature abhors a vacuum, Steve.
00:46:04.520 We've pushed Jesus Christ out of our culture.
00:46:06.860 We haven't been interested in a supernatural sense in divine revelation, in the true faith, probably since the 60s, not in any serious capacity.
00:46:20.160 And, as I say, nature abhors a vacuum.
00:46:23.540 For the last 30 years, 35 years, the fastest growing religion in the UK is Islam.
00:46:29.200 But, whilst we have conceptually hamstrung ourselves, Islam is growing ever stronger.
00:46:36.400 In fact, it is encouraged by the weakness that we Christians seemingly show at the highest levels.
00:46:43.900 And that is the fate that faces occupied Europe.
00:46:47.720 And I've mentioned this before on the show, and I always say America is not yet in the dire situation that we are in occupied Europe.
00:46:57.860 And I said this before, I'll say it again.
00:46:59.620 You guys, you can still turn things around.
00:47:04.300 And I don't think we can in Europe.
00:47:06.980 And I always say that fundamentally our last dying act as a civilization in Europe will be to convince America not to walk down the path that we have walked down.
00:47:18.740 But to come back to Constantinople, you know, history for them isn't just something that happened five years ago.
00:47:25.560 Look, when 9-11, right, 9-11, when Osama bin Laden flew those planes, open brackets, perhaps with the CIA's help, perhaps with Mossad's help, into the Twin Towers, right?
00:47:39.260 That date, 9-11, that represents something Islam.
00:47:43.060 It was the day after Jan Sobievsky lifted the siege of Vienna in, I think, 1683 or something.
00:47:56.420 That was the last, when the Poles lifted the siege of Vienna, that was it for 400 years.
00:48:04.340 At an institutional level, that was the end of the Islamic Empire's attempts to take over continental Europe.
00:48:14.540 And that date by Osama bin Laden was picked.
00:48:17.920 Because I say, in the Islamic sphere, history isn't just something dead and forgotten and of interest only to some obscure eccentrics.
00:48:26.480 It's part of their living identity.
00:48:28.360 And we are damaging ourselves by not realizing that.
00:48:34.300 We try to do that here in the war room.
00:48:36.020 The past is not even the past.
00:48:38.860 If I can draft off one of the great writers in the United States of America.
00:48:43.440 Ben, social media, where do people get you over the holidays?
00:48:47.360 I am always on Getter Steve.
00:48:49.660 It's my social media platform of choice.
00:48:51.820 It's either on Twitter there, at Ben underscore Harnwell.
00:48:57.300 I might start using that profile a little bit more in 2025.
00:49:01.660 But fundamentally, I'm on Getter at Harnwell, where I do read.
00:49:06.460 I don't respond, but I do read every comment posted on my stuff on Getter.
00:49:12.180 Thanks, Steve.
