The war room is about to wrap up and the new Congress will be sworn in today. In this episode of the War Room, Stephen K. Bannon is joined by his audience to discuss the latest in the immigration debate.
00:01:00.000we'll make it just as historic as the last one.
00:01:02.000And it's going to be a quite tough fight to make sure that we can make America great again.
00:01:08.000A lot of this is going to deal with the legislation coming out of here.
00:01:11.000One of the things I think, just saying, if you want Johnson, your long Johnson, the Dignity Act that Upton and Natalie Winters went through kind of part by part and showed what a sick joke that is.
00:01:30.000That has had some push from the establishment, from the powers that be.
00:01:39.000Johnson has not totally signed off on that in my understanding, but that has not been quashed.
00:01:44.000And you see the outrageous nature of it.
00:01:46.000This is why we make the case that a central thing here, besides in addition to the spending and the deportations, has to be the thinking in one whole thing of these legal immigration.
00:01:58.000They're all falling back on immigration.
00:02:00.000When you look at it, there is no legal immigration.
00:02:02.000This is why we've called for 100 percent moratorium for President Trump to get Stephen Miller on it.
00:02:07.000And let's get through this and kind of come back with a report that, oh, yeah, well, here's what's actually these all being gamed.
00:02:15.000To the detriment of American citizens.
00:02:18.000And for the detriment of American citizens, not for a demonstrably better outcome.
00:02:24.000It's not that in all every aspect of this understanding diversity is our strength that and when you talk about diversity, our strength, this is specifically targeted both at the illegal alien level and at all the visas and particularly H1B visas at African-American and Hispanics.
00:02:44.000This is why there are no African-Americans or Hispanics of any kind of amount that numerically makes a difference in Silicon Valley or in tech jobs.
00:02:54.000Because you import the world, invade the world, import the world.
00:02:57.000Or invade the world, invite the world, I guess it is.
00:03:00.000That's what these fights are going to go on and these fights are going to get quite intense and these fights are going to be first ourselves.
00:03:10.000To make sure that we can get this sorted and that what's being put forward, if Johnson's your guy and you own Johnson, okay, and you didn't agree to any procedural changes, nothing on the rules committee, nothing on deficit reduction, nothing on debt ceiling, nothing on making sure these are budget neutrals, all that was off the table.
00:03:29.840I understand it. We'll see here in a few minutes. Starting at noon, you'll actually see what if any of the deals that were behind the scenes for days and days and days and days, if anything's been approved, if it hasn't, that's fine.
00:03:42.620We'll have to see what then you come up with. And we'll be obviously in this audience will be in the middle of this.
00:03:48.540And I realize a lot of people are sitting there going, my God, Bannon, we did all this work and we did everything and we won on the fifth and we're all, you know, we won a party and we want to, you know, we're taking Washington.
00:04:00.240Well, I'm trying to give you a reality check. I would love to sit there and pat you on the head and say, yes, this is all terrific.
00:04:06.000It's going to happen, but it's not going to happen unless you make it happen.
00:04:09.960Your agency makes it happen because there's a, we're inexorably pulled just the way the system is set up with the Lords of Easy Money and the sociopathic overlords and the corporatists, these immense powers that control, don't call it the swamp, that's too cutesy, these immense powers that control your government and control this country.
00:04:28.420The vested interest that believe in the forever wars, believe in the continual printing of money that the concentration of wealth has come off of, basically turning the Federal Reserve into a way to increase liquidity so that the bond market and the stock market kind of are always flush, right, with cash from the printer.
00:04:50.220And as I've said, every year you go through this, you're decreasing your range of alternatives.
00:04:56.120And so now we are where we are, and we will have a monumental fight over this.
00:05:00.660That, folks, we know how to fight and we know how to win, but you've got to pick your shots.
00:05:05.860Right now, the reality is, the reality is there is not really an alternative.
00:05:11.160Now, if you stop Johnson on the fifth ballot, alternatives might come up, but for all the Trump people out there, probably the most logical alternative they turn to is Emmer.
00:05:33.620First of all, I say, how could you get worse than Johnson?
00:05:35.760He just lied to everybody on this 1,500-page document.
00:05:38.960If he was a trustworthy guy, if he was, you know, believed he was a Christian, right, that could be up front and not a gutless little coward, he would have told people, hey, I've actually had Hakeem Jeffries.
00:05:52.160I've negotiated this for six weeks, and ba-boom, here you are.
00:05:55.8801,500 pages with another couple of hundred billion dollars not offset, paid for, you know, NSCR on top of it.
00:06:02.900Oh, and we slipped ourselves a pay raise and all kind of other things that were horrible about keeping programs going on and pandemic programs going on and censorship going on.
00:06:12.900I mean, if you remember that, that thing you threw up in your mouth when people started looking at it.
00:06:19.920But today we're going to make you speaker because, I don't know, brains greater than mine think that this guy can deliver.
00:06:28.640The precision engineering, I say it's not going to happen.
00:06:31.920But more importantly, it's what is that program they're going to push?
00:06:35.760What the MAGA base, I don't believe, is prepared to accept is continuation into Ukraine and continuation into the kinetic part of the Third World War where we're funding it.
00:06:47.320Or American troops have to go on some peacekeeper.
00:06:49.340You can see right now how they're trying to position President Trump.
00:06:53.280I don't believe they're going to accept anything but full and complete program of deportations in a humane manner, but deportations.
00:06:59.640Yeah, starting with the criminals and the crazies, but hey, all 15 million got to go and there's got to be a program for that.
00:07:04.220I also think that the Warren Posse and others that are affiliated with us are not going to sit there and say, no, we can't have a program that we look at it adds another $4 or $5 trillion or $6 trillion to the debt.
00:07:18.200Oh, and the only thing that we've got offset is some sort of ephemeral, you know, years 6, 7, 8, 9, we're going to get wins.
00:07:25.560Remember McCarthy, we got more conservative wins.
00:07:28.560Remember his first budget, the thing he came out with?
00:07:30.900There are more conservative wins here than ever been in recorded history.
00:07:35.020We go, yo, dude, what are you talking about?
00:07:38.280These quote-unquote wins are all things that happen in like year 6.
00:07:52.140So get ready and get ready to get strapped in because today you're going to have a lot of promises and say, okay, if that's the way it's got to be, then the promises got to be, it's got to be promises made, promises kept.
00:08:06.340We have to do this and we got to get back to one of the basics here.
00:08:10.100You know, they're all got the guys on MSNBC and Fox are talking about kitchen table issues.
00:08:14.040We got to get back to kitchen table people.
00:08:15.740No, Trump won because of kitchen table issues.
00:08:17.400Let me give you the biggest kitchen table issue is what somebody comes in with a check for.
00:08:22.380Before he started sitting there in the checkbook and worrying about the cost, what are they actually bringing home?
00:09:23.440Well, the check is only two-thirds of what it should be because, you know, daddy's competing against foreign workers who have been brought in here.
00:10:08.380Because what we said, and if you look at what happened on November 5th, we had the beginning of a 1932-type coalition.
00:10:14.120You have African-American men and you have Hispanic men and Hispanic families that are prepared to open themselves up to listen to President Trump and the MAGA movement.
00:10:22.240Because they know they can't support anymore the sanctuary cities and the madness going on in the cities and just the economic deprivation that the Democrats provide and just happy talk to them.
00:10:31.940And one of the ways to do that is to make sure that they're competing here in the United States and not against the world on their home court.
00:10:39.520Because they don't have to and they shouldn't have to.
00:10:42.420There was a piece in the New York Post the other day about the Selma effect and how the Selma, the symbolism of standing on Edward Pettis Bridge, Emmett Pettis Bridge in Selma in that critical day resonated down through the ages, resonated down through the ages of African-American voters.
00:10:59.480Even when their economic interests weren't being protected by the Democrats.
00:11:04.260It's kind of like, you know, what's wrong with Kansas?
00:11:06.480That book that came out years ago talked about Republican voters voted against their own working class, voted against their own interests to back these kind of Koch-type projects because they were throwing a shiny toy on the cultural side.
00:12:01.780But for doing that, there's a compact.
00:12:04.260And that compact is we're not going to look in every way possible to screw you and to take just a fair thing of your own, of the fruits of liberty that should be bequeathed to you.
00:12:18.460That we're going to game the system every different way to not just make you pay taxes and everything like that, but also make sure that you don't have the economic opportunity you have.
00:12:34.660I think you can see a direct correlation from his failure in the economic system to his radicalization, to holding on to something that told him he was better.
00:13:07.560We've got long, tough fights ahead of us, but we have to be clear and have amazing clarity about what it is, what we're trying to accomplish.
00:13:15.000The situation on the, on the board of deportation, I said, that can be solved.
00:13:19.120You can see this thing on the, on the, on the visas.
00:17:32.620But as a show of support for President Trump, President Trump, just to be, make sure the word and policy understands, has been whipping this.
00:17:39.920He's been talking to people and he wants Johnson.
00:17:43.100He wants Johnson and it looks like he's going to get Johnson.
00:18:10.720The lords of easy money in modern, modern Terry theory where they didn't think there was any penalty to this.
00:18:16.140Now you realize there is a penalty because the embedded nature of the debt and the refinancing of the debt and the higher interest rates you have to finance it, continue to finance it, crowd out other money.
00:18:26.820It becomes a bigger part of the budget.
00:18:28.260It kind of becomes a self-defeating proposition.
00:18:30.840But that's why your credit cards get to 25% to 29%.
00:18:34.060President Trump has said, hey, I'm going to get it down to 10%.
00:19:49.640It'll be the end of the 118th Congress, of which this audience was a major participant.
00:19:53.800This audience will be a major participant going forward.
00:19:57.100Not so sure in the initial on the vote for the speaker, because it looks like President Trump in a show of solidarity around President Trump and his program.
00:20:06.520People are coming together, and a lot of people there, and even moderates, are saying, Johnson's not the best, but he's kind of what we got.
00:20:23.100He misrepresented and lied, and I think screwed President Trump, screwed the Republican conference, screwed the nation by this outrageous, you know, CR that he gave and lied to people.
00:20:35.580Oh, you know, it was all just a two-pager until the last couple of days.
00:22:22.780And until you get that sorted and get more revenue, either through tax cuts or better paychecks to the American citizens, the backbone of this country, there's no way really to go forward.
00:22:34.680Every way to go forward is always contracted by, hey, we need to pay for more Medicaid.
00:22:49.240The reason they don't have any cash, you've got the whole world in their home, the United States of America, taking their jobs and competing with them.
00:22:56.820When they're not better trained, this is the one that makes you most mad.
00:23:07.020I know you want to talk about, I think, Federal Register today, Federal Rules.
00:23:10.140Walk us through addition because you were blowing heads up last night, ma'am.
00:23:13.900Well, Steve, I think you left out the best pitch, which is that in order to tackle the Chinese Communist Party, we have to, what, massively import Chinese nationals, both legally and illegally, restructure the asylum laws so we can jam through and ram through the highest number, I believe, in recorded history of people who are allegiant to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:23:35.440So, your children and grandchildren's future are not going to be beholden by Xi Jinping.
00:23:42.080But I would say Jim Jordan is functionally correct, right?
00:23:45.540Speaker Johnson did work really hard just for the Democrats and for foreign countries and, frankly, every single country except the United States.
00:23:54.580But I think we should take a step back.
00:23:56.100I mean, how lucky we are that we have this wonderful audience that has even put us in the point where now votes that used to just sort of, you know, happen quickly and, you know, without a shot heard around the world, like the speaker's race.
00:24:07.160Well, now at least people are going to be held accountable, right, for those votes.
00:24:11.100And I think that that's something that's squarely on the shoulders of this audience.
00:24:15.980But Speaker Johnson has gotten rolled time and time over.
00:24:20.240And, frankly, Steve, I'm so glad, what was it, about two years ago that our congressional bettors held a vote to defend gas stoves, right, as the shiny toy,
00:24:29.420while what simultaneously allowing Joe Biden to get every single thing he could wanted fiscally and more, leave the border wide open, do essentially nothing for American energy.
00:24:41.700And while all of these idiots go on Fox and all these stupid TV programs and invoke border security, remember, they were the ones that introduced the legislation that allowed border wall materials that President Trump wants to now use to be auctioned off by the Biden regime.
00:24:57.380Let DHS, because I'm sure Mayorkas is really going to protect and preserve border wall materials.
00:25:05.240But all the while, House Republicans are doing nothing to defend American sovereignty.
00:25:10.240We can get into the Federal Register stuff, because I think it shows you the stark juxtaposition, because Democrats, particularly the Biden regime, DHS and DOJ, are secretly ramming through, not in these grand press conferences where they're telling you what their agenda is,
00:25:26.620but secretly through administrative review, really a testament to the power of the deep state, massive sweeping overhauls of amnesty and refugee application, that whole system, H-1B visas, H-2B visas, admissions criteria for migrants under the idea of what constitutes national security threats,
00:25:46.240as well as jamming and gumming up the system when it comes to the interplay between asylum officers and immigration judges.
00:25:52.860If you want me, I can run through some of the changes on the H-1B program, because, Steve, this is the top-line assessment.
00:26:00.920What they're doing to reform the H-1B program is to, quote, improve program efficiency and provide greater benefits and flexibilities for petitioners and beneficiaries.
00:26:11.520Now, you'd be mistaken to think that any of those nouns are in reference to American citizens or American workers, but no.
00:26:17.600Rather, they only apply to foreign workers and the companies that are streamlining them here into the United States to undercut the pay of every single American citizen, STEM or otherwise.
00:26:28.940They actually go so far as to remove the itinerary requirement, which mandates that employers and body shops giving out these visas stipulate and actually explain what exactly these workers are doing,
00:26:42.140how long they're working, how long they're working, where they're working, that requirement is completely gone.
00:26:46.560They're actually reworking the definition of what constitutes NGOs and the non-profit H-1B visa category, which, try to make that make sense.
00:26:56.440I don't know why we're importing a bunch of foreigners and people from India and China to work for left-wing non-profits.
00:27:05.160I'd say you could probably compound that with, what, the whole Act Blue fiasco where all these left-wing organizations are being funded by foreign cash, too.
00:27:12.960They're actively working to basically rework the student visa process.
00:27:18.420So anyone that is on an H-1B or an F-1 status.
00:28:32.740You're going to have to force doing these guys right now.
00:28:35.600From what I'm hearing is that just going before the committees is not going to start to, basically, right before President Trump gets there.
00:28:42.840I believe Thursday, the 16th and Friday, the 17th.
00:28:49.660You've got to go to committee, then give the committee time to think about it, then they vote, and then it goes to the floor, and then it's got to be scheduled for a vote.
00:28:55.880So President Trump, it looks like, I think, is going to start his first week without anybody.
00:29:01.560Now, I may get a different, some more information tomorrow, this afternoon, and we'll talk about it.
00:29:08.020But you've got to get, and this is why I think Kash Patel, we need to control the FBI right away.
00:29:13.720Kash Patel should be, he and Pam Bondi should be one and two.
00:29:17.480Pete Hegseth, I don't know if they're making any progress.
00:30:14.200If you just go up onesies, twosies, and they're going to pick you off.
00:30:16.880That has to be, you know, that has to be forced at the same time that he's getting the staff, the White House staff, I think they hired, throughout the whole government, 3,000 people don't need to be confirmed.
00:30:30.120I think they're, I don't know, 400 or 500.
00:30:32.440I think you need to be at 1,000 on game day on the 20th.
00:30:35.480The 20th is going to be a pretty historic day.
00:30:39.540We're going to do coverage from Davos with Nora bin Laden and others.
00:30:44.760At the same time, we're going to do all the inauguration coverage.
00:30:47.680And more importantly, not just the ceremony, obviously very important, the inauguration, but then getting into actually the government and the government's first day, President Trump's first day of a second term, which will be explosive.
00:30:56.920I think the national championship football game falls that night, going to be quite a day, the 20th.
00:31:04.680A lot more about details of that in the days to come of our coverage, what we're going to be looking at.
00:31:10.380Natalie, so we're about, we're 30 minutes in the run-up now.
00:31:18.700It looks like right now, other people reporting could be chaotic.
00:31:22.080I don't think, I think they've worked out the deals.
00:31:24.600Now, those deals, and this is what I think is disappointing about the Freedom Caucus coming in, and some of the deficit hawks supporting Johnson, I don't, I believe that is without commitments on reconciliation, without commitments of offsets, without commitments of deficit reduction.
00:31:42.980I'm not so sure any of this stuff got done in the last couple hours.
00:31:47.480Regardless, because those are all just kind of handshakes anyway, right?
00:31:50.820Even Gates, when he got the thing in writing, you've got to enforce it.
00:31:55.120This is going to be a massive enforcement problem of going forward.
00:31:59.020One of the central things is to get the more revenues to, and higher paychecks to American citizens, is you have to stop the unfair competition.
00:32:08.440You have to stop the corporatists from getting their way.
00:32:11.400Their way is all these foreign workers at lower pay.
00:32:13.700And remember, when you get those foreign workers here at lower pay to get the kids over here, you're paying, you're underwriting the health care, you're underwriting the education, all of it.
00:32:25.940Natalie Winters, you've gone through this now.
00:32:28.040You're now adamant there is no legal immigration in the country.
00:32:31.480It's all illegal because the system, even theoretically, which wasn't great, in fact, it was kind of terrible, has all been gamed that now it's just open season on American workers, ma'am.
00:32:41.700Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't really even categorize it as competition because American workers aren't even really given the chance to actually compete, right?
00:32:49.400When you look at the breakdown of salaries, and frankly, if you were to evaluate this through a competitive lens, American workers win on every important metric.
00:32:58.200But that's not what these companies are prioritizing, right?
00:33:01.020Because they don't believe in the value of citizenship or sovereignty.
00:33:04.280They just care about maximizing their profits and importing an indentured servant and slave class.
00:33:12.020Like I said, I was going through this Federal Register stuff, which speaks to how Democrats are working absolutely over time, while House Republicans can't even do anything meaningful on the border.
00:33:23.620But they're now saying that they want to introduce new exemptions to H-1B caps for someone who they say is, quote, not directly employed by a qualifying organization, but still spends at least half of their time providing essential work.
00:33:41.940Like I said, they want to fast-track students, allowing them to essentially permanently change their F-1 status to an H-1B visa so they can work and steal even more jobs from Americans.
00:33:55.520And then they also made a point to stress that they will not be implementing regulations that will prevent these corrupt, you know, Indian diploma mills and H-1B body shops and all the, you know, shady visa entities from submitting multiple applications or registrations on behalf of the same individual.
00:34:17.000But it gets even worse and, frankly, darker when you go to the reforms that they want to put on the H-2B visa.
00:34:24.480And I should have mentioned the real tell on all of this.
00:34:28.100Guess what date all of these regulations are set to commence?
00:34:31.640You want to talk about sabotaging the Trump administration?
00:34:41.160But in the case of H-2 visas, so these are the so-called unskilled workers,
00:34:47.200but these people are now going to get what they call, if it used to be a 30-day grace period when they were changing their jobs,
00:34:53.480now they have a 60-day period, and that applies not just for shifting jobs, but also if for some reason someone just decides to stop working.
00:35:02.000But I think the most damning and, frankly, enraging provision of this set of regulations,
00:35:08.140and I'll just read you the direct subheading,
00:35:10.760DHS is removing the U.S. CIS requirement, whereby DHS gets to determine what countries are suited or eligible for sort of a direct H-2B visa to citizenship pathway.
00:35:34.100So those would be, you know, the Ukraines of the world.
