Bannon's War Room - Episode 4474： Building American. Selling American; Chaos In The Liberal DC Courts

00:00:00.000 this is the primal scream of a dying regime pray for our enemies because we're going medieval on

00:00:10.400 these people here's not got a free shot all these networks lying about the people the people have

00:00:16.980 had a belly full of it I know you don't like hearing that I know you try to do everything

00:00:20.760 the world to stop that but you're not gonna stop it it's going to happen and where do people like

00:00:24.520 that go to share the big line mega media I wish in my soul I wish that any of these people had a

00:00:32.760 conscience ask yourself what is my task and what is my purpose if that answer is to save my country

00:00:40.540 this country will be saved war room here's your host stephen k band

00:00:47.320 all right folks we're about ready to discuss global geopolitics with one of our good friends

00:00:59.960 the war room Brian Costello but before we go there before we get to the discussion of instability I

00:01:06.740 just want to call out our good friends at Birch Gold Steve Bannon has done yeoman's work on all

00:01:13.720 the BRICS country the attack on the dollar the attack on the American institutions that is creating

00:01:22.160 global insecurity right now right the Trump agenda the make America great again mega is working that

00:01:30.660 that is the good news folks buckle up but it's going to be unstable for a few months as all the 100

00:01:37.680 countries lined up work out their agreements with the US but they are coming I was with several

00:01:42.920 countries the other night they're all eager in line everybody knows what fairness looks like and

00:01:47.800 if we get fairness straight we're going to grow and it's not just zero tariffs it's way more than

00:01:52.220 that and Brian will probably mention that but contact Birch Gold our friends at birchgold.com

00:01:57.700 slash Bannon birchgold.com slash Bannon or text Bannon to 989898 and get a free copy of the

00:02:06.800 ultimate guide for gold in the Trump era and as you know Stephen K Bannon is the author and co-author

00:02:14.540 of many of those documents text 989898 to text Bannon to 989898 and support our great friends at

00:02:25.860 Birch Gold who support us all right let's turn over to China and Brian Costello's with us he's been on the

00:02:33.760 war room many times he's a favorite when he comes on he's all substance no frills and so Brian bring us

00:02:40.740 up to date what any news that's noticeable in the last month moves away from China firms getting their

00:02:47.040 supply chain straight the investments in the US do we have good news to report or is it still kind of

00:02:53.940 status quo you know I think Dave they you know they put a spotlight I mean one thing Trump did again

00:03:01.220 that was brilliant right is he put a spotlight on this so we now know in terms of the tariffs what

00:03:06.980 our weaknesses are right we have a huge weakness and critical minerals we knew about the medical

00:03:11.900 supply chain back from COVID so what we've been able to do is kind of figure out like okay in the

00:03:17.480 economic war China's been waging on us where are our lever points back and where are we dependent and

00:03:25.300 how do we gear up the country to end the dependency so there's a lot of effort to figure out you know we

00:03:30.160 signed a deal with Ukraine on the rare earth critical minerals the real problem with that

00:03:34.000 is refinement so China has some leverage in the underlying substrates that are a lot of the

00:03:38.920 technology infrastructure we have you know but at the same time we have a lot of leverage in the

00:03:43.420 consumption of our market and how dependent China is in terms of exporting into that consumption so

00:03:48.040 it's interesting to see play out there's a big weekend here right you got Secretary Besant

00:03:53.640 is meeting with the the Chinese for the first time Trump and his classic you know art of the deal

00:04:01.160 threw out 80 percent I think on on true social so so trying to set the bar high as best sink goes

00:04:07.800 into a negotiation so we'll see what happens here this is I'd buckle in though this is going to be a long

00:04:12.680 process yeah what's your commentary I don't mean to throw you in the weeds here but you know the

00:04:19.400 the mainstream media was all got hyper over Trump's chart on tariffs you know in the the one half

00:04:26.680 deal and it was basically correlated with the size of the trade deficit but then I've put up charts on

00:04:32.740 the war room Bank of America and the World Bank and PwC Pricewater Cooper's big you know firms also have

00:04:41.540 charts showing all all the G20 countries have two to three hundred percent the tariffs we have on them

00:04:47.600 right two times to three times all of them all the rich country China's way more and so what what do

00:04:55.200 you see is the end game here you know a lot of people on our side of the football are saying it's not

00:05:00.680 about zero tariffs even if you do a zero tariff thing with with like UK the deal that just came in

00:05:07.980 there we're going to have higher tariffs on them than they have on us because of all the unfair

00:05:13.340 practices and taxes they level on us and so what do you see as a reasonable end game that we can

00:05:19.360 explain to the mainstream media because they simply don't understand what it means to put America first

00:05:25.880 you know I think there's a bunch of things we need for the first thing we need to do is we need to make

00:05:30.900 sure that we keep our markets stable our treasury and our equity markets right so that we don't break

00:05:36.460 capital formation in the US as part of this this uber negotiation thing so I think that's extremely

00:05:42.720 important I think they've done some good steps and part of that is actually some of the negotiations

00:05:47.480 like Japan buys a lot of our treasuries right so they're in a negotiation and holding that up so I

00:05:53.640 think we need to keep things stable we need to level the playing field and then we need to get the

00:05:58.700 partners on our side against China who not just on tariffs but manipulating currency you know state

00:06:05.500 state enterprises backing industries closed capital accounts closing really effectively closing its

00:06:11.800 market out to the number two economy in the world we need to get everybody on our side on that so I

00:06:17.840 think hopefully you'll start to see folks fall in line I think Secretary Besant's mentioned there's 18

00:06:23.040 or 19 countries that are really important you know they announced one the other day which is the United

00:06:27.880 Kingdom I think Japan Mexico Canada was just with with with Trump and I think you know for the next

00:06:35.300 six months or for the year because then you start talking about the midterms you really see it see a

00:06:40.080 maniacal focus on this some some might pull a China and wait until you know they notice there's some

00:06:45.200 pressure from elections to resolve things so I expect this to play out for a while

00:06:49.020 yeah give us a little commentary also on on the capital flows right so you know if we cut down on

00:06:59.120 our imports on Chinese goods then the the capital flows right we we get the goods we give them a piece

00:07:07.500 of paper they get the capital and then they buy stuff treasuries or or land in the US or public beach

00:07:13.840 and so you know the free trade folks you know make the argument hey that's just the flip side of the

00:07:20.480 current account is the capital account it's all fine and dandy but the America first doesn't agree

00:07:26.100 with that so how do we land that plane taking into account their argument and how do we win that

00:07:31.820 argument you know one of the things they need to focus on I don't know that they're and I'm you

00:07:38.660 know we're obviously we're not inside the trade deals but they need to focus on the closed capital

00:07:42.680 accounts in China we have a lot of companies right that have cash on their balance sheet that

00:07:47.560 they can't get out of China we have a lot of investment that's gone into China on the equity

00:07:52.480 side that they can't get this is what China does for leverage right Dave they let all these elite 0.98

00:07:58.180 invest in sweetheart deals align with the Chinese government into China and then they can't get their

00:08:02.800 money out the only way they might get their money out is through an IPO in the US so therefore

00:08:06.940 they negotiate to open the IPO door for Chinese companies again who then commit fraud

00:08:11.880 and it all gets dumped you know you know in line with the populist movement it all gets dumped on

00:08:16.360 the American people so I think there's a lot of we need to really be focused on China's closed capital

00:08:22.440 account and not letting any of our companies take money out of China too that's a huge huge advantage

00:08:27.780 to that they're able to shepherd all these dollars and these investments in China and it's a big

00:08:32.680 problem you know I'll throw something out there you were talking about uh taxes a little bit maybe

00:08:39.080 we could find mutual ground make mutual ground in Washington and tax the investments into China

00:08:44.320 you know make sure the the uh the carried interest which is when you make an investment into China

00:08:49.840 you know and you're an endowment and you get an endowment gets no taxes on it right maybe maybe

00:08:55.800 maybe we shouldn't have an American universities invest into China through their endowments and

00:09:01.200 not paying any taxes on the return on capital yeah no that's great man I wish I I should have

00:09:07.800 booked you for a half hour block once you get going on this uh the logic just spins last last question

00:09:15.740 uh for the America first folks you just spoke about these sweetheart deals uh and that's true that

00:09:22.260 that the the the big folks on Wall Street and the capital markets get deals uh not available to

00:09:28.080 American people Besant has made very powerful remarks hey uh it's it's it's not your turn anymore

00:09:33.880 Wall Street it's it's uh the turn of Main Street and I think that is the dominant shift and so do you see

00:09:41.160 that turning around uh under Trump these sweetheart deals that only the bigs get is there a way of

00:09:46.680 democratizing uh the capital so the American people get some of these returns not with China but

00:09:52.220 with the rest of the world instead of China is there you know it's interesting one of the I mean

00:09:57.900 I'll get into a macro you know my favorite subject that I like to like to fight with that with Steve

00:10:03.940 a little bit on Twitter is you know we've got something really interesting we got to keep our

00:10:08.280 eye on I'm going to answer this question a little bit different and I'm doing something in the space

00:10:11.700 Dave but we've got right now one of the things we need to make sure of we've got a lot of the big

00:10:17.300 most powerful and because there's so much focus on the tariff and the trade side we've got

00:10:22.040 a lot of the biggest most powerful companies in the world that are doing stuff on the AI

00:10:27.260 autonomy robotics side that's going to replace labor right and a lot of it's hidden so it's you

00:10:32.900 know uh Google has Waymo it's self-driving cars and they're announcing you know so you're literally

00:10:38.100 going to see Uber and Lyft go away Uber and Lyft drivers lose their job to self-driving cars and we

00:10:42.820 need to be very careful with the artificial intelligence and concentrating that power in the top companies in

00:10:49.280 the world who've showed that you know that they will not look out for the interest of the American

00:10:53.380 people it's shareholders first right so I think that's something big the Trump administration good

00:10:57.960 needs to watch yeah yeah no you're you're spot on I mean I taught economics for 20 years and it's uh

00:11:06.160 you know monopolies and oligopolies do not live deliver the the the best goods at the lowest prices

00:11:11.760 with variety uh not to mention the political power they accrue and uh so we could go on and on forever

00:11:18.240 uh Brian thanks for being with us on the war home get get you back on again for some more once you

00:11:23.520 once the dialogue opens I could go all day and this really matters so thanks for your work Brian thanks

00:11:28.980 for being with us yeah yeah and congratulations to your students Steve at Liberty so good work you bet

00:11:35.420 you bet you bet thank you brother it's great you bet you too all right we've got Catherine O'Neill with

00:11:41.700 us Catherine uh the floor is yours uh anything you want to react to policy-wise that you've heard and

00:11:47.780 then uh make your pitch to the war room which is not a hard pitch to make we're all a bunch of your fans

00:11:53.460 hi Dr. Brad it's so great to see you thanks for having me on yes so I'm the founder and CEO of

00:12:02.300 Merriweather Farms which is an all-natural beef company out here in Wyoming and as many of you

00:12:08.340 know uh we control the majority of the process so you know where your beef is coming from 100% of the

00:12:14.920 time so um a deal we're doing you'll see right on the screen is our burger blowout you guys ask for

00:12:20.980 it all the time it's 30 pounds of our premium ground beef um you can truly taste the difference

00:12:26.880 from the beef in the grocery stores uh no hormones no antibiotics uh no nonsense so go to merriweatherfarms.com

00:12:36.680 right now and you'll see it right on the home page no promo code needed um get it while it's in stock

00:12:43.880 because this stuff flies off our shelves yeah that's great uh Catherine what give us a little

00:12:50.880 more uh we don't mention maha make america healthy again and uh you know I I got several family members

00:12:58.840 in the health professions and uh we see kids uh in the hospitals like I never heard of growing I mean

00:13:05.220 there's just atrocious stuff happening uh give us a little word of how you're connected with that

00:13:10.680 movement and why you're an improvement to American health yeah absolutely I think it's an

00:13:16.040 an integral it was an integral part of Trump's campaign in 2024 the maha uh component of Trump's

00:13:23.560 campaign um you know this is how we're going to keep our future generations healthy and productive

00:13:29.660 if it's if we start with food um you know you see a lot of uh really weird substances in our food supply

00:13:38.440 I mean Tyson Foods uh last week just announced that they're removing some synthetic dyes from their food

00:13:44.220 which they should have never put in the first place but what happens is that you these big

00:13:50.380 companies throw money around Washington I mean you saw it when you were a member of Congress um and

00:13:56.480 they lobby these congressmen to do shady things and so um good on Secretary Kennedy for uh pressing

00:14:04.940 these big companies to make make their food healthier and better for the American people

00:14:10.740 100 percent uh we all love you what you do and your product and so uh please support Meriwether

00:14:18.940 Farms folks go go out there uh she's doing the right thing uh for your health for the country for

00:14:26.240 MAGA for America first uh I have not been ball hogging uh we had technical difficulties with Ben

00:14:32.440 Harnwell uh he's going to come back after the break and host the rest of the show we had a little

00:14:37.320 technical difficulties uh but uh we had the great uh Brian Castello on and uh very happy we had him

00:14:44.520 on I'm gonna keep that conversation going in the weeks to come uh God willing and so uh thanks for

00:14:49.400 letting me be with you all it's always an honor and a pleasure to be with the war room with the posse

00:14:53.280 I get great uh comments from all of you God bless and I'll see you soon

00:14:57.800 there's something happening with our farmland here in the United States that isn't getting

00:15:04.300 enough attention the Chinese have been buying up hundreds of thousands of acres of U.S. farmland 0.99

00:15:10.120 they're also taking control over critical supply chains things like fertilizer animal feed and farming

00:15:16.940 equipment why it's not clear they're tightening the grip on global food production that is clear

00:15:24.720 and if things go south and it could happen quickly we need to be ready that's why I trust

00:16:44.900 welcome back to the show harnwell here at the helm filling in for steve and steven k band who's off

00:16:55.720 on assignment my thanks to dave bratt who was very admirably holding the show right there we're here

00:17:02.120 in the shadow of the vatican and we're going to be breaking down in just one moment the um the the

00:17:08.640 momentous news of the new pope the new anti-pope perhaps we'll talk about that in just a few minutes

00:17:15.500 but first let's go to glenn's story from um patriot mobile glenn um thanks for coming on just tell me

00:17:22.720 first if you wouldn't mind just before giving us the pitch tell us do you have any take on uh on pope

00:17:29.160 leo the 14th well you know what i've heard mixed uh reviews i don't know a great deal about it i'm

00:17:36.480 not catholic but i have been following the story and you know i've heard he's a registered republican

00:17:41.800 i've heard that he does votes republican but i've also heard he's kind of dei and woke and

00:17:48.220 you know i'm concerned a little bit but look god god put him in place and hopefully he leans

00:17:53.900 uh you know let's just say on the belief of god and follows god's word

00:17:59.660 glenn you actually look by the way i will talk about um patriot mobile in just a moment but you

00:18:06.140 actually said something that's been playing on my head on my mind since i first start started to hear

00:18:12.420 reports that um that former cardinal provost now pope leo the 14th is a registered republican

00:18:19.880 that can mean a multiplicity of things right it could mean he was sort of a big supporter

00:18:24.960 oh oh um i mean you know it could be something i mean he's a supporter of john mccain uh you know

00:18:33.460 just looking at some of the the the principal rhinos in the gop doesn't necessarily mean that the guy

00:18:40.240 is mago it doesn't necessarily mean that the guy was out there supporting donald j trump and his agenda

00:18:46.460 and his uh and his administration uh and that's obviously you know to say anything that the war

00:18:51.940 in posse knows very well there is a civil war going on inside the gop at the moment i guess we'll find

00:18:58.060 out what type of republican the new pope is uh but it is you know interesting that you mention that

00:19:05.320 because this is being the first american pope this is the first time uh that the catholic church has

00:19:11.040 had someone at the top of the apex the success of the saint peter himself who is a registered

00:19:16.680 republican voter that's interesting i think the way it's going to work out is that it broadly means

00:19:21.960 he will be um relatively relatively secure on the pro-life issues uh on those issues probably

00:19:31.540 though he's going to tack closer uh on the on the economic things to the the rhino agenda that that

00:19:38.640 we're obviously so so uh committed to opposing that's right dude that's that's that's our

00:19:44.020 well go ahead no go ahead please well that you know what that's really what it boils down to you

00:19:50.280 know look at it life was created you know you know the scripture you know you know he knew us before

00:19:57.000 we were in the womb he knitted us together you know life is the single most important issue we look

00:20:03.360 at today and you know if if you're let's just say if your uh pope doesn't believe in life then that's

00:20:11.800 a big issue none of the other stuff really matters you know we we know there's rhinos out there we

00:20:17.520 they've been out there forever and you know a rhino or the trump republicans are not the same so

00:20:23.000 you know we just hope that the pope leads the church in biblical ways right there the bible is

00:20:29.700 is jesus it's his word it's about him and we just hope that you know we follow the scripture

00:20:36.680 glenn um tell us a bit then about the the office today for uh for patriot mobile well the you know

00:20:45.980 it's pretty simple i think the war room posse is pretty familiar with who we are we uh we're a god

00:20:51.400 first christian-based company you know he's at the helm of our business so we're his stewards

00:20:57.220 and what's really interesting about patriot is we just try to serve our customers in a way that

00:21:04.100 they want to be served we live by biblical principles and we carve out a portion of every

00:21:10.360 dollar and donate back to what i would consider biblical principles is the first amendment the

00:21:16.100 second amendment right to life and military and first responders and there's a a group of folks

00:21:23.620 who just love what we stand for when you call us you're going to speak to a redneck like me here in

00:21:29.140 texas or you're going to speak to a californian and then the other side of it you get the donation piece

00:21:34.660 and you know it's a great business and you know the war room posse has been incredibly supportive of us

00:21:40.580 just glenn tell me tell me because you you just to wheel back a little bit when you're

00:21:48.620 talking about how important your faith in jesus christ is uh is behind the whole of the uh the

00:21:56.860 patriot mobile philosophy and the way you were talking about the importance even as a non-catholic

00:22:02.700 perspective that you have of uh the the important the leadership the moral christian leadership that

00:22:08.800 the pope can give i want to pick up on something that you were saying in fact uh to come back to this

00:22:14.220 point about cardinal provost now pope leo the 14th being a registered public because i think it's

00:22:21.180 capable of leading some people astray i think and we'll see we'll see this as it breaks down but i

00:22:28.620 think the way this is going to break down is that we're going to see more of a mit romney when the guy

00:22:33.260 says he's a registered republican i think that means that we're going to see more of a mit romney thing

00:22:37.900 and when you think about it a mit romney dynamic but when you think about it and this is really the

00:22:43.260 heart of of what the war room is about that's the the the real agenda to donald trump to the maga

00:22:50.220 agenda it doesn't even come from the democrats it's really coming from this faction of the republican

00:22:55.180 party of the gop that has lost its hold on power and desperately wants to try to take it back um see

00:23:04.300 looking at that and as i say you know we we're within 24 hours at the moment here we'll be watching

00:23:10.540 how these events unroll themselves over what will seem to be our our our coming years but i actually

00:23:17.820 think the fact that the guy is a registered republican looking at his social media over the last few

00:23:22.540 years some of the some of the the criticisms he's put out there against donald trump i actually think

00:23:28.300 that this is going to be a a point of opposition but that was that was a great thing um that that

00:23:35.260 that you mentioned i think it's important to flag that up to the um for the war room posse just before

00:23:40.460 you go then once again would you just remind the folks where they can go to to learn more about

00:23:47.020 patriot mobile possibly look at the products that you're offering yeah well the fastest way is

00:24:51.580 to see this see our country grow and become more prosperous

00:24:58.140 okay glenn sorry many thanks indeed for coming on today and just really close there with some great

00:25:09.660 soon thanks for your insights as well about pope leo the 14th god bless you have a blessed day brother

00:25:16.060 let's go to jenny holland now um before we go to uh to our break in a couple of minutes jenny came on 1.00

00:25:25.420 the show folks you might remember this when i was sort of doing some filling in for steve when he was at

00:25:30.620 danbury spot and the feedback just absolutely exploded jenny you remember this because you

00:25:36.700 mentioned that as someone formerly of of an agnostic stroke atheistic background you'd actually started to

00:25:43.580 take up praying the rosary and you were talking about so on a daily basis and you were talking

00:25:48.220 about the spiritual um uh reward that you were already starting to see uh in your life and i have

00:25:55.420 to say of all the pieces i did on the show in that period that was probably the one i think i had the

00:26:01.340 most dramatic impact so i'm very grateful that you've that you've come on to the show today tell me

00:26:07.980 basically from that background from someone who had an atheistic agnostic background um and someone

00:26:15.420 who started just picking up what one of the the principal catholic devotionals that had fallen into

00:26:23.180 disuse right across the west tell me what your first reaction is to the election of this new american pope

00:26:31.180 well i want to preface everything i'm going to say with a huge dollop of humility because uh far be it

00:26:40.380 from me to position myself as an expert on the vatican or the pope or anything like that um but

00:26:48.300 i mean i've been following the criticisms of the vatican under francis very closely actually um and i was

00:26:57.260 aware that there was um certain cardinals who were considered more traditional and that um now pope leo

00:27:05.100 is not necessarily one of those um so i take all of those concerns very seriously because i don't think

00:27:13.100 there's a future again with the utmost humility um not being a fully fledged member um i don't think

00:27:19.980 there's a future for the catholic church if it does not return to the more traditional aspects of it

00:27:25.980 it's neither fish nor fowl nor good red herring if it stays in the sort of uh francis no man's land

00:27:31.660 um so i take all of those worries seriously however i have been somewhat heartened uh today to see

00:27:39.660 a host of clips of the new pope taking very kind of common sense perhaps centrist but at least common

00:27:48.300 sense positions on things like gender and borders uh you think that these are the most basic um

00:27:56.220 the most basic building blocks of society and also perhaps i am falling into a trap of

00:28:03.740 being overly optimistic or pollyanna ish but given the state of division that i think the west is in

00:28:12.700 right now maybe there's an argument to be made that he can help bridge some of that

00:28:17.340 jenny we're going to dig down on that point just after this ad break coming up jenny holland

00:28:25.900 writes for both substick substack and spiked we're back with her insights in just 10 seconds time don't go

00:30:10.620 welcome back so earlier on in the show we were talking about the the possibly financial

00:30:18.220 calculations that the conclave were considering in the choice of the new pope because the holy see is

00:30:27.420 in massive financial difficulty right now and a lot of the substantial american benefactors had been

00:30:34.620 withdrawing their support under the bergoglio anti pontificate um because the guy had made it clear

00:30:42.140 constantly over 12 years that he was against american free market capitalism but what jenny

00:30:50.300 holland was saying there just before the break is really what the catholic church is about because

00:30:54.380 it's not an ngo it's not a financial organization it's not a human traffic organization even if those

00:30:59.500 are the things that it's spent the last decade on pushing down on it's fundamentally a supernatural

00:31:05.900 institution created by jesus christ for the salvation of souls jenny let me come back to about that point

00:31:12.460 you were making um that sort of that expression use of neither fish nor fowl tell me how important it

00:31:19.500 is from around the same generation right how much do you think how important do you think it is for

00:31:25.420 people of our generation people many people who are searching for some meaning in their lives some

00:31:31.980 framework around which to to draw meaning in in a world without a great deal of visible faith how

00:31:39.900 important do you think it is that the catholic church has um has this element of being unchanging

00:31:48.860 throughout time uh and do you think there were aspects of the previous 10 years that really um

00:31:55.660 that pushed people away from checking out not only catholicism but christian christianity in a wider

00:32:02.940 sense absolutely i think it's importance is everything it's all important i think uh for people like me

00:32:12.220 who are former atheists uh very secular left-wing um indie kids uh all grown up and facing middle age if we

00:32:21.740 wanted sort of happy clappy modern guitar playing christianity we can get that literally anywhere and

00:32:28.940 everywhere uh every um every institution is set up to provide that the fact that we don't want it is the

00:32:36.540 tell and that should be the signal to the church to correct its course and um go back to the things that

00:32:45.420 that made it unique in the first place i think that clearly uh our modern contemporary lifestyle

00:32:54.460 has engendered a spiritual crisis that is certainly unseen in my lifetime i mean probably well definitely

00:33:02.220 in my lifetime let's say um and the fact that people like me are yearning for the older ways

00:33:10.540 is is something that needs to be listened to i think that the the the modern more liberal more

00:33:17.340 progressive churches in the united states are not flourishing it is the conservative churches

00:33:22.620 and the traditional churches the latin mass being a very good example of this churches that are most in

00:33:29.180 demand and that has to be uh picked up on um i want to bring in liz you're right now liz you're obviously

00:33:38.060 well very well known to the war room posse someone who's constantly pushing promoting

00:33:44.860 the the the the rights of children the rights of the family and you've often been pushing against

00:33:50.300 the lack of leadership that was provided by the late unlamented pope but let me ask you this

00:33:56.860 let me ask you this question following on what jenny holland was just saying about this spiritual aspect

00:34:02.700 um is that very much your reaction too that there's been a spiritual crisis in the catholic church

00:34:09.740 rather than just simply the political crisis the lack of political leadership that we've been um

00:34:15.820 following together yeah jenny's put her finger on it precisely it's all been about process

00:34:23.340 synodal synodal synodal and what we know is this new synodal church is the death knell

00:34:31.820 for catholicism this church was not built on process listening accompanying it was built on the truth

00:34:39.980 of jesus christ and that is what has been lost certainly in the last 12 years um and when i

00:34:48.780 recently last night i watched um the new pope's uh q a at his old church in the south side of chicago

00:34:56.380 and he he was it was 2024 he was a cardinal he had been at the vatican as head of the dicastery and

00:35:05.340 all he talked about was the synodal way and talked about process and about listening and being you know

00:35:13.100 the kind and soft and gentle church it sounded like frankly you know a 60s hippie and and what concerns me

00:35:20.860 and i told you this morning ben um i think we've been played again uh prevos was a dark horse not

00:35:28.700 mentioned in in the media and even in the catholic media thank you until steve bannon said wait a

00:35:36.220 minute i'm hearing prevos and the reason my argument is the reason we were not we didn't hear about him

00:35:43.740 and he was kept under wraps is because there was no ability to vet him to find out what his history is

00:35:50.060 in peru now of course it's coming up that there were cases of cover-up we're going to find out more

00:35:57.500 and you know so this is what i feel like we've been played all along that there was a psyop

00:36:04.220 that was going on they were pushing other candidates we'll continue to find out how this rolled out

00:36:10.460 obviously the gravity of the office of pope will bring special graces to this man hopefully he will

00:36:17.740 respond liz let me come back to that point that you mentioned and by the way you're absolutely

00:36:22.940 right that steve bannon had been spent had spent the last 10 days uh flagging up cardinal prevos and

00:36:29.980 the danger that he uh that he posed um let me ask you this question and from from what you were just

00:36:37.500 saying about this new pope um and uh the fact that you said that conservatives have been played had been

00:36:45.500 played in that conclave could you just say a little bit more about that what you mean by that well what

00:36:51.260 i'm concerned about is that um cardinal supich the american delegation um had eyed him as prevost as a

00:37:00.140 possible replacement for francis a long time ago and he had placed him in the vatican in a prominent

00:37:06.220 position um they did certainly keep the wraps on him they understood precisely where his quote unquote

00:37:13.100 theology was he was uh climate change a big on the covid shutdown um certainly a huge proponent of

00:37:22.860 migration which is the centerpiece of um destroying not only america but western civilization and europe as 1.00

00:37:31.260 we now see so my concern is is that he was the ideal candidate to keep you know in their back pocket

00:37:39.340 um and to pull him out once the conclave started voting i mean think about this a man we'd never

00:37:46.060 heard about in four short votes becomes uh the pope i mean it's you know he's a cardinal only a short

00:37:54.940 period of time i mean look i come from chicago i'm now watching all the news you know you know with

00:38:00.300 the bears jerseys and he's a white socks fan and oh this is so cool i mean when the church is in crisis

00:38:07.580 these kinds of commentary are just you know just silly it's time to focus on a church in crisis my

00:38:15.660 real concern is and possibly jenny will agree with me my concern is what is going to happen to the church

00:38:22.460 in america um although he's an american he holds dual passports um dual citizenship so um my my real

00:38:31.820 concern is that it's all about synodal you heard that in his opening statement from the loggia um he

00:38:38.220 is a synodal pope through and through and that is a recipe for disaster and we're going to see it in 1.00

00:38:46.380 our local parishes we're going to see it in our bulletins and it's going to be implemented and what

00:38:51.660 synodal is is a political ideology ideology ideology that is pushing migration and climate change it's not

00:39:02.460 pushing or promoting the teaching of jesus christ

00:39:08.140 liz let me just pass over to and give the last two minutes to jenny holland on that one migration and 1.00

00:39:14.300 climate change you're the only person i i know jenny who's a non-catholic who prays the rosary tell me when

00:39:21.340 you see the exponents of the catholic hierarchy pushing these issues does it make it easier for

00:39:29.420 you to um to to continue with these catholic devotionals or is it putting an obstacle in your

00:39:36.620 path well it doesn't put an obstacle in the path of my um daily rosary practice which i'm still doing

00:39:42.940 and i'm on apparently over a hundred day street but um it does make me leery of the institution so what

00:39:50.940 happens in your home is one thing joining the institution is another um and i take your point

00:39:56.140 ben about the mit romney um comparison and i certainly take liz's points about this inodality

00:40:02.860 and all of that stuff that you know much more than i do um but what i can say for certain is that

00:40:09.980 whatever has been awakened among the people a sense of spiritual awakening that cannot be undone

00:40:17.580 even by a mit romney-esque pope which again i have no idea if he is or not i hope he isn't um but

00:40:26.140 what's happening on the ground and what's happening person to person isn't going to be shut down by

00:40:33.500 even a woke pope in my opinion jenny very very grateful for you coming on the show where do people

00:40:41.660 go to keep up with your writings on substack uh which i very strongly recommend you've you've written

00:40:47.020 sort of movingly about this the spiritual journey that you want on substack but also on spiked where

00:40:51.900 where can they go on social media to keep up with you i'm semper femina 21 on x and uh the uh substack

00:40:59.900 is jenny e holland dot substack or saving culture from itself which is the title jenny thanks for coming

00:41:07.580 back on the show we'll catch up no doubt again with you soon as this pontificate rolls on liz you're

00:41:12.940 where do people go to keep up with your writings on social media your analysis your observations your

00:41:18.300 warnings i'm everywhere on social media under elizabeth your and also my website is your children dot com

00:41:29.260 this is your thank you thank you very much thank you both very much for coming on the show

00:41:33.180 quickly in in the final two minutes of this before we go to the ad mike davis good morning to you

00:41:40.940 good morning mike tell me first up then as uh as um an irish american proud uh catholic i i hope what was

00:41:51.020 it was your what was your your first reactions when uh you see a fellow american coming out on the

00:41:56.780 balcony on the balcony on the lodger look i i i want to give the new pope time to make his way i'm

00:42:05.260 concerned he's uh a uh he's i i'm concerned this is a a leftist pope uh following our last leftist pope

00:42:15.580 but i want to give pope leo the chance to uh to to show the world how he wants to lead the catholic

00:42:22.940 church um i saw interviews with the pope's american brothers i thought they uh they they humanized him

00:42:31.180 quite a bit he seems like pope leo seems like a very good man who uh has done a lot of good things

00:42:39.340 in peru uh as a missionary or whatever the hell he's doing down in south america let's just hope that

00:42:46.380 he keeps the church focused on catholic faith and works instead of woke ideology like the last pope

00:42:58.060 a warm posse i'm sure you will have got your notepad and paper out writing very concerned

00:43:05.020 notes to yourselves that mike davis doesn't seem to be entirely on message with the wall line the

00:43:10.380 what the war room line on the on uh hashtag not my pope the seventh we're gonna obviously

00:43:15.580 obviously need to put the thumb screws on him there uh just tell me just in 30 seconds before

00:43:20.300 we go to the break mike did you see anything on the on american cable news uh that that gave you

00:43:26.300 calls for concern over the last 12 24 hours i'm the new pope um you know i mean i heard yeah i heard

00:43:34.620 his brothers say that he's gonna be not much different from the last marxist pope so uh that causes

00:43:40.940 concern i look i i i'm a catholic probably not as good as i should be but i went to 13 years

00:43:47.980 of catholic school uh i i let's hope this isn't a marxist pope because he needs to bring back the

00:43:54.140 flock and not repel them the vatican's 100 yards away we're going to take mike davis down to the

00:43:59.900 dungeons there put on the thumb screws back with mike davis and mike lee you've heard me talk about

00:45:29.820 here's your host stephen k bannon

00:45:33.420 welcome back well many people in the war room um who've been following the culture wars for a number

00:45:43.660 of years will know the name of ed martin he was philip then the legendary phyllis schlafly's disciple

00:45:49.660 basically and took over from her winning the eagle forum also a u.s attorney attorney representing donald trump

00:45:56.620 um mike tell me there's been some um it didn't quite go forward though uh right with ed martin um

00:46:05.100 on on uh on the hill tell me tell us a bit about what what has happened because this was a great guy

00:46:10.940 did the did the republicans not come out to support him what happened that's exactly right because 0.94

00:46:16.700 republicans are weak and feckless uh and they proved that they're weak and feckless again ed martin is a 0.52

00:46:23.580 very good man he's a good friend of mine trump made him the interim dc u.s attorney that's 120 day 0.91

00:46:30.540 appointment and then trump nominated him for the permanent job for four years and the these the

00:46:37.980 the senate republicans who confirmed you know rachel rollins got confirmed by biden the biden the u.s

00:46:45.340 attorney in boston who was extremely controversial a lot of these republicans voted to confirm merrick

00:46:51.580 garland and so many other biden controversial picks uh but they just couldn't stomach ed martin's

00:46:57.900 politics because ed martin is too conservative and too controversial for these country club republicans

00:47:05.020 in the senate and so they torpedoed ed martin's nomination for the dc u.s attorney

00:47:12.540 but they're going to get someone who's even more bold fearless and tougher with judge janine

00:47:18.300 pirra which is just phenomenal that judge janine has agreed to do this she's making a huge personal

00:47:24.220 sacrifice to go do this 120 day dc u.s attorney appointment she gave up you know she's she has a 1.00

00:47:31.900 huge fox contract she's uh lives a good life in new york and she's gonna move to the to the swamp dc

00:47:39.660 and i would say the biggest winners uh of this are the poor black families in dc trapped in these

00:47:48.540 crime-ridden dc neighborhoods and the biggest losers are going to be these oligarchs who are 0.83

00:47:54.700 grifting off of ukraine and these uh violent criminals in dc judge janine's not going to put up

00:48:02.460 with it and oh ed martin by the way they they left him for dead on the side of the road ed martin's now

00:48:07.340 going to go to the deputy attorney general's office where ed martin's going to be working on

00:48:11.660 presidential pardon for president trump so uh not only have has ed not gone away they've only 0.96

00:48:18.060 emboldened him so good work senate republicans uh you once again proved how weak and feckless you are

00:48:25.580 mike davis you're you're the number one person that i know that uh between the ambit of the the

00:48:31.980 supreme court and the the senate gop holding their feet to the fire just before you jump just tell

00:48:39.580 me do you think that ed martin had enough um fire cover air cover uh with the ed martin nomination

00:48:46.700 do you think the administration did all it could to steer that through putting the thumbs

00:48:51.340 on to the feckless gop senators absolutely president trump personally lobbied senate republicans for this

00:49:00.940 the article three projects did a huge phone to action campaign at article three project dot org you

00:49:06.940 have uh uh jack did a lot uh cernovich did a lot will chamberlain and josh hammer at article three

00:49:14.220 projects we we did a lot to help uh ed martin uh through the politics of this he should have been

00:49:20.940 confirmed but our weak sisters in the senate republican caucus uh couldn't stomach the fact that ed martin 0.91

00:49:28.860 thought that uh the the election was rigged and stolen in 2020 because it was and he supported

00:49:35.660 january 6th defendants because they were persecuted according to the supreme court's fisher ruling
