00:00:00.000 Okay, we don't want to have enough time for the do the long open
00:00:06.440 because so much going on.
00:00:07.860 A press conference is supposed to start in Texas.
00:00:10.440 We're going to pick that up.
00:00:11.940 The president is going to start his cabinet meeting,
00:00:13.880 supposedly at 11 o'clock.
00:00:14.900 We're going to pick that up.
00:00:16.140 Once we pick up the cabinet meeting,
00:00:19.320 Grace and Mo are going to put on our other streaming devices
00:00:23.900 so you can watch the Texas press conference, et cetera.
00:00:27.260 I've got Chris Hort.
00:00:28.020 Chris, particularly everything on AI of what can happen,
00:00:32.040 how they can change things up, the susceptibility to the grid,
00:00:36.080 and particularly the situation in Texas.
00:00:39.420 We did have the young CEO from Rainmaker,
00:00:42.360 was scheduled to come on here today.
00:00:44.480 His travel and this cabinet meeting is changing things up.
00:00:49.880 So we're going to get him on the next couple of days.
00:00:51.960 But with everything going on, Chris Hort,
00:00:54.560 we need more than ever to make sure we can stay in communication with each other.
00:01:00.020 What do you got for us?
00:01:01.740 Well, Steve, you're absolutely right.
00:01:02.940 I mean, one of the things that really hampered the rescue operations in Kerr,
00:01:06.680 Texas this last week,
00:01:07.960 was the fact that cell towers were washed away and so were fiber lines.
00:01:11.840 So unless you had satellite phones, you couldn't communicate.
00:01:15.780 And so it's like, look, Steve,
00:01:16.860 you don't wait until your house is on fire to buy a fire extinguisher.
00:01:19.920 So get a satellite phone today while they're still free.
00:01:22.440 We have free satellite phones with activation at sat123.com.
00:01:26.100 And we're also including this week for War Room users only,
00:01:29.540 the free Faraday bag, a free satellite phone Faraday bag.
00:01:33.220 But Steve, these phones are the only things that work during
00:01:35.640 this devastating flooding in Kerr, Texas.
00:01:39.500 They work anywhere, everywhere, no matter what's going on on the ground.
00:01:42.940 And the satellite phones normally around $1,000.
00:01:45.320 They are free right now at sat123.com.
00:01:48.220 Or Steve, call 941-841-0844.
00:01:51.680 That's 941-841-0844.
00:01:54.620 But again, this is the only thing that's going to work
00:01:57.280 when you have a devastating situation like this.
00:02:00.120 The same thing happened in Hurricane Barron.
00:02:01.900 And we've got a busy hurricane season coming up, it looks like.
00:02:04.640 So these outages are going to be happening more and more.
00:02:08.540 And certainly, the other big threat, you're absolutely right with AI,
00:02:11.680 is these attacks on the infrastructure.
00:02:14.180 We know full well that the Russians, the Chinese, the North Koreans,
00:02:18.160 the Iranians are hard at work trying to take out our infrastructure
00:02:22.140 wherever and whenever they can.
00:02:24.040 They were successful at doing so over in Spain and Portugal
00:02:27.700 just a few months back, taking the entire country offline of Spain
00:02:31.160 for 24 hours plus.
00:02:33.280 You know, that did happen, and that certainly can happen here, Steve.
00:02:39.180 Chris, one more time.
00:02:40.200 These are all specials.
00:02:41.400 I'll tell them we're in posse.
00:02:42.540 They're gone, like, very quickly.
00:02:44.920 Chris comes in with us and says, hey, I got this.
00:02:47.220 I want to do this.
00:02:47.860 We go, bang, let's hit it.
00:02:49.380 One more time.
00:02:50.180 Where do people go?
00:02:51.580 They can go to sat123.com.
00:02:53.580 That's S-A-T-1-2-3.com.
00:02:55.660 Or they can call us at 941-841-0844.
00:03:00.360 It's 941-841-0844.
00:03:02.880 Get a free sat phone and a free satellite phone, Faraday bag,
00:03:05.940 with activation, just $85 a month, Steve.
00:03:10.260 Thank you, brother.
00:03:11.140 Appreciate you.
00:03:12.360 Thanks, mate.
00:03:12.920 A blockbuster story just came out now on The Guardian.
00:03:19.980 I don't have time.
00:03:21.180 I don't think we're going to be able to get Dr. Bradley Thayer up.
00:03:23.340 I'll do it this afternoon.
00:03:24.720 This gets back to my whole concern about where our real enemies are,
00:03:30.100 where we should be focused for the United States of America.
00:03:33.120 We must put America first.
00:03:34.820 There are too many other people in this country that purport to be patriots
00:03:40.420 and purport to be worried about the United States of America
00:03:43.240 that either put the Ukraine first or put Israel first.
00:03:46.080 I'm sorry.
00:03:46.720 That's just the way it is, dude, guys.
00:03:49.400 This report in The Guardian that just dropped
00:03:52.520 says that the United States has used 75% of its patriot missile inventory.
00:03:59.400 Let's go to Texas.
00:04:00.680 We'll pick this up until the president starts.
00:04:04.820 Okay, y'all ready?
00:04:15.540 Okay, thank y'all for being here again today.
00:04:18.400 Larry Letha, Kirk County Sheriff.
00:04:20.440 I'm going to kind of go over some brief notes with y'all real quick,
00:04:23.080 then I'm going to pass it on to the mayor.
00:04:26.600 Hundreds of first responders remain along the Guadalupe River and Kirk County
00:04:30.220 working to reunite families.
00:04:31.840 The large search and rescue effort, including local, state, federal,
00:04:36.440 and volunteer agencies continue.
00:04:39.240 As of 8 a.m. central time, 87 deceased have been recovered in Kirk County,
00:04:45.280 including 56 adults and 30 children.
00:04:48.500 Identification is pending for 19 adults and 7 children,
00:04:52.320 with one additional person still unidentified.
00:04:54.420 At present, five camp missed the campers and one counselor still remain unaccounted for.
00:05:02.140 We asked private boats to stay off the Guadalupe River
00:05:04.920 to allow search and rescue teams to operate without any interference.
00:05:10.560 This is a tragic time for us.
00:05:12.420 We are so grateful and thankful for all the resources that have been provided to us
00:05:16.100 to do this job.
00:05:17.040 You know, and I can assure you we will not stop until this mission is complete.
00:05:21.420 At this time, I'm going to turn it over to city mayor.
00:05:31.860 Thank you for being here.
00:05:33.100 I'm Joe Herring, Jr.
00:05:34.020 I'm mayor of the city of Kergo.
00:05:35.140 I want to reassure our community and those families
00:05:42.840 that the city, the county, the state, and the federal experts
00:05:49.100 are working together, not separately, but as one team.
00:05:55.400 If you go inside the emergency operations center, you don't see silos.
00:06:00.340 You see one team.
00:06:01.920 I want to talk briefly about in-kind donations.
00:06:09.520 The outpouring of generosity has been tremendous, and we are grateful.
00:06:16.500 We are working on a new system to accept donations.
00:06:21.760 When those plans are complete, we will post them online on the city's Facebook page.
00:06:28.220 We are grateful.
00:06:29.380 We need a new system to handle the generosity of the world.
00:06:36.700 Financial donations can still go to communityfoundation.net.
00:06:43.120 That's the community foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
00:06:47.280 Again, we are grateful for the generosity of the world.
00:06:52.100 Now, over and over, I've asked you to pray.
00:06:57.400 It occurred to me that I haven't asked you for what to pray specifically.
00:07:02.460 Please pray for those who mourn,
00:07:06.480 for those who wait,
00:07:09.660 and for those who help.
00:07:10.960 Now, I'd like to call on Lieutenant Colonel Ben Baker.
00:07:24.780 Good morning, everyone.
00:07:25.800 Thank you for being here.
00:07:27.460 My name is Ben Baker, Lieutenant Colonel for Texas Game Wardens.
00:07:30.520 I'd like to start out by thanking the mayor, sheriff, chief,
00:07:36.580 our local state partners,
00:07:39.920 Texas Department of Public Safety,
00:07:41.080 and the many others that have responded to this tragic event.
00:07:44.800 We, as Texas, are strong,
00:07:48.940 and together we face adversity.
00:07:54.520 Your Texas Game Wardens responded in the early mornings of Friday
00:07:58.580 to this tragic event,
00:08:01.120 along with many other local and state partners.
00:08:03.720 Since the early mornings of Friday,
00:08:06.640 your Texas Game Wardens have had over 300 Game Wardens
00:08:09.440 in the area,
00:08:11.540 serving the people of the state of Texas
00:08:13.040 and the citizens of Kirk County.
00:08:15.840 Among that,
00:08:17.420 we've searched 26 river miles
00:08:19.520 since the tragic event has started.
00:08:23.560 We've had approximately 444 rescues,
00:08:29.160 30 recoveries,
00:08:30.280 some of our resources and assets we have dedicated
00:08:36.300 to this tragic event include
00:08:38.420 two helicopters with voice teams,
00:08:41.820 12 drone teams,
00:08:44.500 10 K-9 units,
00:08:47.380 nine swift water boat crews,
00:08:50.600 15 airboats,
00:08:53.880 16 UTVs,
00:08:55.800 and 169 four-wheel drive vehicles.
00:09:00.720 Your Texas Game Wardens will remain here
00:09:02.880 and serve in the community.
00:09:06.880 We just ask you to continue to pray for the victims,
00:09:10.540 for the families,
00:09:11.940 for your first responders,
00:09:14.980 for everyone involved.
00:09:17.580 We'll open it up now to questions.
00:09:20.020 Anybody has any?
00:09:20.760 Can you talk about how challenging it is
00:09:22.600 for the guys in the mud,
00:09:25.300 big trees,
00:09:26.420 what have you been like
00:09:27.160 for the difference of right?
00:09:28.300 No,
00:09:31.020 thank you for that question.
00:09:33.280 Extremely challenging.
00:09:34.740 You know,
00:09:34.900 we've got,
00:09:35.580 of course,
00:09:35.840 your Texas Game Wardens out there,
00:09:37.520 your local,
00:09:38.040 your state partners,
00:09:38.940 Texas Task Force One.
00:09:40.080 We've got the National Forest Service out there.
00:09:42.080 We've got A&M Forest Service.
00:09:43.440 We've got numerous responders
00:09:44.660 with specialized capabilities
00:09:47.320 where we've got these large pile of debris.
00:09:50.400 And with our canines,
00:09:51.820 and, you know,
00:09:52.580 when we're trying to make these recoveries,
00:09:54.160 these large piles can be very obstructive.
00:09:58.120 And to get deep into these piles,
00:10:00.720 it's very hazardous.
00:10:02.280 And those specialized teams
00:10:03.580 have to go in there layer by layer
00:10:05.700 because our first responders,
00:10:07.540 also the safety of them is concerned.
00:10:09.380 So it's extremely treacherous,
00:10:11.980 time-consuming.
00:10:13.300 It's dirty work.
00:10:15.000 The water's still there.
00:10:16.860 So we're having to go layer by layer
00:10:18.440 peeling these off
00:10:19.440 to make those recoveries.
00:10:23.340 So we're...
00:10:24.840 What about mentally?
00:10:26.160 Like,
00:10:26.400 when you guys stumble
00:10:27.360 across someone
00:10:28.620 and make the scenes,
00:10:30.040 how do you process that?
00:10:31.460 Absolutely.
00:10:33.920 We process it the best we can.
00:10:35.800 We have professionals in place.
00:10:37.120 Our crisis intervention team,
00:10:38.920 all the agencies
00:10:40.460 have some members representing there.
00:10:42.000 And officer wellness
00:10:43.900 is a first responder wellness,
00:10:46.280 is a key component
00:10:48.020 to these operations.
00:10:49.600 So we're maintaining
00:10:50.400 and monitoring our officer wellness,
00:10:52.060 our first responder wellness.
00:10:53.520 We're making sure
00:10:54.200 they have the support.
00:10:57.300 It's very tragic
00:10:58.720 whenever you see human life.
00:11:01.360 But to see a child
00:11:02.840 and that loss of life
00:11:04.760 is extremely tragic.
00:11:07.460 I have a question.
00:11:09.220 It's going to come down west of us
00:11:10.660 and eventually it's going to get down
00:11:12.380 to Guadalupe River.
00:11:13.660 Is that going to put a halt
00:11:15.020 to the searches?
00:11:16.320 And if not,
00:11:17.240 how are you going to change
00:11:18.160 the trajectory
00:11:18.760 of the search and rescue operations?
00:11:23.600 So,
00:11:24.200 with the water coming down,
00:11:25.500 that is always a concern.
00:11:26.500 And I'm sure you've been monitoring
00:11:27.540 the last couple of days
00:11:28.400 where we've had some reports
00:11:29.660 of maybe some additional water coming in.
00:11:32.200 Obviously,
00:11:32.740 that's going to impact
00:11:33.620 the search and recovery efforts.
00:11:35.020 You know,
00:11:36.480 us with numerous other agencies
00:11:38.700 do have air capabilities,
00:11:40.500 drone capabilities.
00:11:41.700 We've got numerous
00:11:42.620 fixed-ring rotary helicopters here.
00:11:46.020 So it will alter
00:11:48.260 our patrol patterns
00:11:49.780 and alter our searches,
00:11:51.280 but it won't deter them.
00:11:53.120 I have a question.
00:11:54.080 What specific discussions
00:11:55.700 and actions were taken
00:11:57.020 between the time
00:11:58.100 the first flood emergency alert
00:11:59.920 came in at 1.14 a.m.
00:12:01.540 and then when the river
00:12:03.260 first started flooding homes
00:12:04.400 hours later?
00:12:05.680 What were the specific actions
00:12:07.740 and discussions
00:12:08.720 that happened in those hours?
00:12:12.200 Can you repeat that again, please?
00:12:14.240 Absolutely.
00:12:15.460 I would like to know,
00:12:16.800 if you could outline, please,
00:12:17.840 what the specific actions
00:12:19.520 and discussions were
00:12:21.320 that local officials took
00:12:22.560 between 1.14 a.m.,
00:12:24.320 that's when the first flood
00:12:25.700 emergency alert came out,
00:12:27.100 and hours later
00:12:28.000 when the river first started flooding homes.
00:12:29.760 What happened in those hours?
00:12:30.980 What I can tell you,
00:12:32.200 when I was first notified,
00:12:33.720 it was around the 4 to 5 area.
00:12:36.100 One of my sergeants
00:12:37.080 was in dispatch
00:12:37.840 when the first calls
00:12:38.700 started coming in,
00:12:39.520 the actual 911 calls come in.
00:12:40.980 It was like at 4 in the morning?
00:12:42.500 It was between 4 and 5
00:12:43.760 when I got notified.
00:12:45.300 Okay.
00:12:45.840 But prior to that,
00:12:46.660 in that 3 to 4 area,
00:12:47.800 my understanding is,
00:12:48.840 and we're in the process
00:12:49.640 of trying to put a timeline.
00:12:51.140 You know, that's going to take
00:12:51.900 a little bit of time.
00:12:52.680 As I've told you several times,
00:12:54.080 that is not my priority this time.
00:12:55.900 There's three priorities.
00:12:56.900 That's locating,
00:12:58.000 locating the people out there,
00:12:59.780 identifying and notifying
00:13:00.840 the next to Ken.
00:13:01.500 That is what I'm taking
00:13:02.660 as my job as sheriff here to do.
00:13:04.400 Okay.
00:13:04.700 With all due respect, sir,
00:13:05.400 I think that the community here
00:13:06.740 is asking these questions.
00:13:08.260 What happened?
00:13:09.100 When did it happen?
00:13:09.860 Was the emergency manager awake
00:13:11.620 at the time?
00:13:12.500 Did they push the button
00:13:13.500 to issue an emergency alert?
00:13:15.520 Sir, it's not that easy
00:13:16.780 when you just push a button.
00:13:18.220 Okay.
00:13:18.420 There's a lot more to that.
00:13:19.300 And we've told you several times.
00:13:20.640 I can't tell you at this time.
00:13:24.020 Okay.
00:13:24.260 You can't tell me
00:13:24.720 if the emergency manager
00:13:25.800 actually issued an emergency alert.
00:13:28.560 Okay.
00:13:28.960 Sheriff, who is the emergency
00:13:31.100 operations center?
00:13:32.260 Who runs the emergency
00:13:33.900 operations center?
00:13:34.420 I'll come back to you.
00:13:35.300 I'm going nowhere.
00:13:36.020 Appreciate it.
00:13:36.440 Who runs the emergency
00:13:37.700 operations center?
00:13:39.240 We have a communication center,
00:13:40.780 a dispatch.
00:13:41.460 Okay.
00:13:41.720 We have a communication center.
00:13:43.240 That's where the calls
00:13:44.380 actually go to the police department,
00:13:45.720 then they're forwarded to us.
00:13:46.680 But leading up to this,
00:13:48.340 in monitoring the weather,
00:13:49.700 there is, in any large city,
00:13:51.920 in any state,
00:13:52.680 there's an office
00:13:53.200 of emergency management
00:13:54.320 that is monitoring the weather,
00:13:57.120 that is watching and listening
00:13:58.940 and getting briefings.
00:14:00.440 Who was getting those briefings
00:14:02.320 in this city, in this county?
00:14:05.320 Who was receiving
00:14:06.660 that information?
00:14:08.360 And who would have
00:14:09.120 ultimately made the decision
00:14:11.280 to evacuate,
00:14:13.140 hearing what was coming in
00:14:15.320 from the weather service
00:14:16.640 and all that?
00:14:17.380 Okay.
00:14:17.800 What we would have done,
00:14:18.520 when we get notified,
00:14:19.620 okay, I'm going to tell you.
00:14:20.160 But you're not
00:14:20.940 emergency management, though, right?
00:14:22.360 The sheriff's not EOC.
00:14:23.940 No, there is no,
00:14:24.920 I'm going to ask the city.
00:14:26.880 Yeah.
00:14:28.480 So we understand
00:14:29.680 you have many questions.
00:14:31.460 Hang on.
00:14:31.900 No, I understand,
00:14:32.620 but you're going to go,
00:14:33.320 you're not going to answer
00:14:34.000 the question
00:14:34.460 because that's up
00:14:35.080 to the city manager
00:14:35.980 and the mayor
00:14:37.100 to answer those questions.
00:14:40.000 We understand
00:14:40.560 you have many questions.
00:14:42.780 The judge is not here.
00:14:43.980 We understand that,
00:14:44.940 but right now,
00:14:46.280 this team up here
00:14:47.400 is focused on
00:14:48.720 bringing people home.
00:14:49.980 We understand that, too.
00:14:50.380 There are a number
00:14:51.180 of questions.
00:14:51.200 That's our focus.
00:14:52.460 All those questions
00:14:53.560 will be answered,
00:14:54.340 but the priority right now
00:14:55.640 is bringing people home.
00:14:57.620 We totally understand that,
00:14:58.940 and we value the incredible work
00:15:00.500 that is being done
00:15:01.520 by the first responders.
00:15:02.800 We're seeing them out there
00:15:03.860 muddy and sweaty
00:15:05.020 and grinding it out
00:15:06.040 day after day.
00:15:07.340 But your community
00:15:08.220 is asking these questions.
00:15:09.780 And we will have,
00:15:10.920 we will get answers.
00:15:12.580 Right now,
00:15:13.460 all of our resources
00:15:14.440 are focused
00:15:15.340 to recovery.
00:15:16.940 Who is,
00:15:17.920 who was in charge
00:15:18.780 of the emergency
00:15:19.880 operations center
00:15:20.920 at the time
00:15:22.140 that was getting
00:15:22.980 any breaches?
00:15:23.720 Do we have another question?
00:15:24.780 I do.
00:15:25.400 I think I'd like to focus
00:15:26.540 on what local people
00:15:27.700 can be looking for.
00:15:30.060 We're looking at
00:15:30.960 some erosion
00:15:32.860 and roads
00:15:33.620 and safety
00:15:34.320 and them traveling.
00:15:35.320 What can we tell people
00:15:36.320 who live here right now
00:15:37.460 and what they can do
00:15:38.140 in their daily lives?
00:15:39.900 Should they worry
00:15:40.780 about traveling on roads?
00:15:42.040 Do we know anything
00:15:42.680 about that infrastructure?
00:15:44.900 Sure, absolutely.
00:15:45.820 Donathan Lamb,
00:15:46.380 Kerrville Police Department.
00:15:48.020 So we know that
00:15:49.340 there's substantial
00:15:50.200 road damage.
00:15:51.420 Some roads have been
00:15:52.400 closed for safety.
00:15:53.520 We've got crews
00:15:54.160 out there in the county
00:15:55.180 shoring them up
00:15:57.000 and making sure
00:15:57.760 that people can travel
00:15:58.740 to and from.
00:15:59.720 What we're asking
00:16:00.220 for the public to do
00:16:01.360 to assist us
00:16:02.460 is if they believe
00:16:04.380 that they have
00:16:05.080 seen someone,
00:16:06.380 a victim,
00:16:07.300 notify emergency services.
00:16:08.880 Call 911,
00:16:09.860 let us know
00:16:10.660 or use our
00:16:11.360 non-emergency numbers.
00:16:13.100 Area code 830-257-8181.
00:16:15.300 Contact our dispatch team
00:16:17.620 and we will send
00:16:18.280 officers out there.
00:16:19.700 We also ask folks
00:16:20.480 to limit their travel.
00:16:22.040 Our first responders
00:16:22.780 have had a very difficult time
00:16:24.340 getting to where
00:16:25.300 they need to go
00:16:26.320 because of the amount
00:16:27.400 of people who are
00:16:28.100 flooding our roadways.
00:16:29.160 We understand
00:16:29.720 there's natural curiosity.
00:16:31.500 People want to come here
00:16:32.360 and see the flood damage.
00:16:33.720 Now is not the time
00:16:34.620 for sightseeing.
00:16:35.440 This operation
00:16:36.080 is ongoing
00:16:36.880 and continuous
00:16:38.140 and it will continue.
00:16:39.420 I've got time
00:16:40.240 for one more question.
00:16:44.080 Last question.
00:16:47.020 As far as I know
00:16:47.700 the last live rescue
00:16:48.940 unless there's
00:16:49.800 new information
00:16:50.700 and I don't believe
00:16:51.420 there is
00:16:51.840 was made on Friday.
00:16:53.740 I'm afraid
00:16:54.420 that's going to have
00:16:55.020 to do it for this morning.
00:16:56.200 Can someone answer
00:16:56.860 if the bodies
00:16:57.440 have been released
00:16:58.040 to the families, Sheriff?
00:16:59.400 Excuse me.
00:17:00.000 Have the bodies
00:17:00.600 been released
00:17:01.220 to the families?
00:17:02.040 Some.
00:17:02.800 Some.
00:17:03.540 They're at autopsy.
00:17:05.060 We have an estimate
00:17:07.060 among the general population
00:17:08.420 not just the girls
00:17:09.200 from Mystic
00:17:09.680 even just credible reports.
00:17:11.400 Is it hundreds still?
00:17:13.040 Is there any estimate
00:17:14.100 among the general population
00:17:15.240 of how many people
00:17:15.860 are from Mystic?
00:17:16.240 No.
00:17:16.540 I've told y'all several times
00:17:17.780 it's hard to know that number.
00:17:19.580 No, we don't.
00:17:20.040 I know the numbers
00:17:20.840 that we have found
00:17:21.740 and that's all I know.
00:17:22.620 You still don't want
00:17:23.420 to tell us who it's right.
00:17:24.400 All right.
00:17:24.660 So we're going to continue
00:17:25.600 our operations.
00:17:26.740 The next time
00:17:27.520 that we're going to be
00:17:28.120 in front of y'all
00:17:28.820 will be at 5 p.m.
00:17:30.520 right back here.
00:17:31.840 If there is a critical update
00:17:33.700 again,
00:17:34.420 we'll provide that information
00:17:35.820 to you
00:17:36.480 through the contact list
00:17:37.740 that you have provided to us.
00:17:39.500 Thank y'all.
00:17:39.920 We appreciate it.
00:17:43.140 Okay.
00:17:43.960 You see,
00:17:44.740 as we predicted,
00:17:45.980 it is getting
00:17:47.100 a little contentious there,
00:17:48.520 some basic,
00:17:49.700 you know,
00:17:50.260 now it's actually
00:17:51.440 full attack mode.
00:17:53.080 I'm not saying
00:17:53.620 some of the things
00:17:54.160 that the media are asking
00:17:55.140 there are out of line.
00:17:57.400 There are a ton
00:17:58.000 of questions here
00:17:58.700 about the chain of command,
00:17:59.700 tons of questions
00:18:00.360 about how it was,
00:18:02.440 you know,
00:18:03.200 the evolutions
00:18:04.120 of not just a warning
00:18:06.280 of the National Weather Center,
00:18:07.380 which those questions
00:18:08.640 are trying to pin something
00:18:09.580 on President Trump.
00:18:10.840 The question you just saw there
00:18:12.320 and you saw the media
00:18:13.660 is not backing down
00:18:15.280 and saying,
00:18:15.720 hey,
00:18:15.760 the community
00:18:16.360 is asking these questions.
00:18:18.540 What,
00:18:19.020 given the reporting
00:18:20.280 that you had,
00:18:21.860 what was the chain of command?
00:18:23.140 How did this happen?
00:18:23.840 And clearly,
00:18:26.000 people don't want
00:18:27.440 to answer here.
00:18:28.400 One of the reasons
00:18:29.000 people don't want
00:18:29.620 to answer
00:18:30.080 is that,
00:18:31.900 look,
00:18:33.180 just the way things are,
00:18:34.160 the civil lawsuits here
00:18:35.240 are going to be
00:18:35.740 quite enormous.
00:18:37.620 And I'm sure
00:18:38.560 a lot of people
00:18:39.260 are going to be
00:18:39.540 very hesitant
00:18:40.140 about going on the record
00:18:41.240 or speaking at a press conference
00:18:42.460 and saying something
00:18:43.200 that they might have
00:18:44.120 to eat later.
00:18:46.840 Barry Leed,
00:18:47.700 right there,
00:18:48.500 ladies and gentlemen,
00:18:49.820 the question was asked,
00:18:50.720 when was the last live rescue
00:18:54.640 that you had?
00:18:56.240 He said Friday.
00:18:58.480 So,
00:18:59.000 and today,
00:18:59.880 they used the subtle term
00:19:00.800 search and recovery,
00:19:02.380 search and recovery.
00:19:03.240 So the search and rescue
00:19:04.120 is over.
00:19:05.620 It's search and recovery.
00:19:06.740 But today is Tuesday.
00:19:08.400 You've not had
00:19:09.300 a live recovery
00:19:10.240 from,
00:19:11.520 since Friday.
00:19:13.240 It shows you the power,
00:19:15.660 really the unrelenting power
00:19:17.320 of this storm.
00:19:18.980 And there's so many questions
00:19:20.140 that have to be answered,
00:19:21.660 including the fact,
00:19:23.240 was this just purely
00:19:24.920 an act of God?
00:19:26.500 Or is this an act of God
00:19:29.140 with man's hand in it?
00:19:30.680 Or was this an act of,
00:19:32.660 that had much more about,
00:19:34.140 I don't know,
00:19:34.740 geoengineering
00:19:35.540 or manipulation
00:19:36.160 or whatever?
00:19:36.620 Those have all
00:19:37.160 got to be answered.
00:19:39.280 And we're going to work
00:19:41.240 to get the answers to that.
00:19:42.480 Clearly,
00:19:43.600 there's a effort
00:19:45.160 going underway
00:19:45.880 to make sure
00:19:46.420 they recover the bodies.
00:19:47.480 Now,
00:19:47.600 I do think
00:19:48.560 that the folks
00:19:49.900 down in Kerrville
00:19:50.520 or some state level,
00:19:52.380 and you notice
00:19:53.060 at some of these
00:19:54.360 tough press conferences,
00:19:55.540 you're not seeing
00:19:56.120 the politicians anymore.
00:19:57.540 They want to be there
00:19:58.380 when there's good news.
00:20:00.060 But not a lot of good news
00:20:01.060 coming out of Kerrville
00:20:01.900 right now
00:20:02.420 in intense scrutiny
00:20:05.040 as they're just going
00:20:06.500 to have to understand
00:20:07.100 that's going to happen.
00:20:07.860 So,
00:20:08.960 you know,
00:20:10.980 our prayers go out
00:20:13.400 to all the victims,
00:20:14.640 but also the folks
00:20:15.660 down in Kerrville
00:20:16.420 that are going to come
00:20:18.240 under some intense,
00:20:19.540 intense pressure.
00:20:20.940 The cabinet meeting,
00:20:21.840 I don't have a feed yet.
00:20:22.740 The cabinet meeting
00:20:23.300 has not started.
00:20:24.520 I'm not saying
00:20:25.180 this is spur of the moment.
00:20:26.060 I think this might have
00:20:26.660 been planned,
00:20:27.200 but there's so much going on.
00:20:28.880 Let's just go back.
00:20:29.680 Can I get teed up
00:20:30.960 the Brooks-Rollins thing
00:20:32.960 on the CCP
00:20:33.720 about the whole purpose
00:20:34.760 of this,
00:20:35.060 and I'm going to go back
00:20:35.660 to the Amnesty.
00:20:37.480 Folks,
00:20:38.200 you have it?
00:20:41.140 You have both of them?
00:20:43.020 Hang on for a second.
00:20:43.900 Just hang on for both.
00:20:44.660 I'll tell you what.
00:20:45.140 Let's play the Amnesty one first.
00:20:47.180 I want to,
00:20:47.460 because this has been
00:20:48.100 the big controversy
00:20:49.040 Charlie Kirk brought up.
00:20:50.940 A lot of people thought
00:20:51.660 even the Epstein thing
00:20:52.460 might have been
00:20:52.860 a misdirection play on this.
00:20:54.960 The War Room,
00:20:55.940 Charlie Kirk,
00:20:56.600 led by Charlie Kirk.
00:20:57.580 We went crazy on this yesterday.
00:20:59.060 Jack Posovic,
00:20:59.860 all of us on this very issue.
00:21:02.660 Our mantra here
00:21:03.540 is mass deportations
00:21:05.200 now.
00:21:07.460 Amnesty never.
00:21:08.940 You cannot have amnesty.
00:21:10.240 It's just inconceivable.
00:21:12.240 It would break down
00:21:12.860 the entire thought process
00:21:15.500 that drove
00:21:16.180 the populist nationalist movement.
00:21:19.220 Let's go ahead
00:21:19.840 and play Brooks-Rollins
00:21:20.660 from earlier this morning.
00:21:21.940 The first thing I'll say
00:21:22.940 is the president
00:21:23.520 has been unequivocal
00:21:24.560 that there will be
00:21:25.440 no amnesty,
00:21:26.600 and I think that's
00:21:27.160 very, very important.
00:21:28.640 I and the rest
00:21:29.260 of our cabinet
00:21:29.940 certainly support that,
00:21:32.220 effectuate that,
00:21:33.020 and make sure that happens
00:21:33.900 every single day.
00:21:34.860 The second thing
00:21:35.880 to your question
00:21:36.420 about mass deportations,
00:21:37.900 the president and I
00:21:38.580 have spoken about that
00:21:39.580 once or twice,
00:21:40.800 and he has always been
00:21:42.140 of the mindset
00:21:42.740 that at the end of the day,
00:21:44.280 the promise to America
00:21:45.660 to ensure that we have
00:21:47.200 a 100% American workforce
00:21:49.240 stands,
00:21:50.260 but we must be strategic
00:21:51.700 in how we are implementing
00:21:53.440 the mass deportation
00:21:54.580 so as not
00:21:55.400 to compromise
00:21:56.200 our food supply.
00:21:57.560 Ultimately,
00:21:58.060 the answer on this
00:21:58.860 is automation,
00:22:00.140 also some reform
00:22:01.280 within the current
00:22:01.960 governing structure,
00:22:02.820 and then also
00:22:03.980 when you think about
00:22:04.740 there are 34 million
00:22:06.200 able-bodied adults
00:22:07.640 in our Medicaid program.
00:22:08.840 There are plenty
00:22:09.740 of workers in America,
00:22:10.820 but we just have to make sure
00:22:12.260 we're not compromising today,
00:22:14.340 especially in the context
00:22:15.620 of everything
00:22:16.080 we're thinking about
00:22:16.880 right now.
00:22:17.740 So no amnesty
00:22:18.860 under any circumstances.
00:22:20.560 Mass deportations continue,
00:22:22.180 but in a strategic
00:22:23.020 and intentional way
00:22:24.100 as we move our workforce
00:22:25.580 toward more automation
00:22:26.660 and toward a 100%
00:22:28.360 American workforce.
00:22:29.400 And ultimately,
00:22:30.820 it's the wonderful
00:22:31.440 members of Congress
00:22:32.340 behind me
00:22:32.960 who are taking this on
00:22:34.960 on the fixing
00:22:36.380 the current immigration system.
00:22:37.820 So thank you so much.
00:22:39.780 They may talk about
00:22:40.820 in the cabinet meeting today,
00:22:41.780 but I want to make sure
00:22:42.400 she said later
00:22:43.140 about the Labor Department
00:22:44.600 and Secretary of Labor
00:22:45.860 and the H-2As,
00:22:46.880 which are the H-1B visas.
00:22:49.200 The H-2As
00:22:49.760 are for agriculture
00:22:50.880 and things like that.
00:22:52.360 So we'll make sure
00:22:53.260 they're talking about
00:22:54.020 some executive order.
00:22:55.140 We'll make sure
00:22:55.520 they're not slipping
00:22:56.080 in amnesty there.
00:22:57.000 But no amnesty,
00:22:57.780 no way,
00:22:58.500 from Brooke Rollins,
00:22:59.480 the Secretary of Agriculture.
00:23:00.980 The entire purpose
00:23:02.080 of this today
00:23:02.780 was about
00:23:03.800 the Chinese Communist Party.
00:23:04.920 And here you see
00:23:05.640 the convergence
00:23:06.360 of the show today
00:23:09.440 about energy,
00:23:10.940 about agriculture,
00:23:12.760 about advanced technology.
00:23:15.080 What is interweaving
00:23:16.220 all of it?
00:23:17.800 Artificial intelligence
00:23:18.880 and also things like,
00:23:20.420 you know,
00:23:21.060 there's still this madness
00:23:22.240 on this climate change hoax,
00:23:26.440 right?
00:23:26.700 The decarbonization myth
00:23:28.480 still pervades
00:23:29.940 in much of this.
00:23:31.960 You also had,
00:23:32.700 we had Eric Tisa on here.
00:23:34.760 The codification of this,
00:23:36.080 what Brooks just talked about
00:23:37.060 as far as immigration goes
00:23:39.000 and amnesty
00:23:39.520 and all that,
00:23:40.900 it goes back,
00:23:41.580 you need it codified
00:23:42.420 into Congress.
00:23:43.800 This is the whole thing
00:23:44.600 with the woke nature
00:23:46.180 of the,
00:23:46.860 of what's happening
00:23:48.380 in the Defense Department.
00:23:49.920 We're not going to get
00:23:50.820 these things out of here
00:23:51.600 until we get it codified
00:23:52.780 into law.
00:23:53.440 The other thing
00:23:55.240 you see going on
00:23:56.280 is that,
00:23:57.160 and I hope Russ
00:23:58.260 does the quick march
00:24:00.160 on these rescissions.
00:24:02.040 You're in another
00:24:03.220 appropriations process
00:24:04.400 right now.
00:24:05.440 Write this down.
00:24:06.080 Take your number two
00:24:06.780 pencil out
00:24:07.380 and write down
00:24:08.080 30 September
00:24:09.400 of 2025.
00:24:11.640 What is that?
00:24:13.960 August, September.
00:24:15.080 So we're 75 days
00:24:16.800 away from that,
00:24:17.360 I think.
00:24:17.660 So write this down
00:24:18.960 at midnight
00:24:19.540 on the 30th of September
00:24:21.600 of 2025.
00:24:24.700 You're going to be
00:24:25.380 sucking on a CR.
00:24:27.060 Okay?
00:24:27.780 A big, ugly CR.
00:24:31.220 Because as sure
00:24:32.060 as the turning
00:24:32.600 of the earth,
00:24:34.140 these folks,
00:24:34.740 they got out of town
00:24:35.740 as soon as they got
00:24:36.260 the big, beautiful bill done.
00:24:37.440 They're going to come back.
00:24:38.900 They're going to,
00:24:39.600 you know,
00:24:40.160 mess around
00:24:41.480 for a couple weeks
00:24:42.300 with the appropriations process
00:24:43.800 and the committee,
00:24:44.380 the 12 individual
00:24:46.340 appropriations bills
00:24:48.280 that we wanted
00:24:49.120 and to fight about.
00:24:49.900 And they're going to
00:24:50.320 skip out of town here
00:24:51.260 for the August recess
00:24:53.060 in August.
00:24:54.600 And you ain't going to
00:24:55.240 see them again
00:24:55.680 until after Labor Day.
00:24:57.140 And when they get back
00:24:57.800 after Labor Day,
00:24:58.440 you're going to have
00:24:58.760 three and a half weeks ago.
00:24:59.560 Well, we don't have
00:25:00.200 enough time
00:25:00.920 to actually pass a bill.
00:25:02.560 So we're just going to have,
00:25:03.440 and it's just going to be
00:25:04.100 a small CR,
00:25:04.820 just CR.
00:25:05.940 And it's only going to be,
00:25:07.400 you know,
00:25:07.660 we just need,
00:25:08.280 we're just going to do it
00:25:08.920 to, I don't know,
00:25:09.720 a random date,
00:25:10.200 December 15th.
00:25:11.720 And you're going to get
00:25:12.520 down in December
00:25:13.340 and you're going to say
00:25:14.360 it's got to be
00:25:14.860 Christmas holidays.
00:25:16.420 We just need another one.
00:25:17.520 Let's just kick it into,
00:25:18.500 you know,
00:25:18.740 we'll just kick it into March.
00:25:20.420 And so it goes.
00:25:23.660 Russ Vogt,
00:25:24.180 I think what you're going
00:25:25.460 to see in the interim
00:25:26.420 and really what we must see
00:25:28.020 in the interim
00:25:28.640 is Russ Vogt and OMB,
00:25:30.480 kind of the adults
00:25:31.180 in the room.
00:25:31.860 We need now to see
00:25:33.580 real rescissions packages.
00:25:35.780 You ran the test case
00:25:37.000 with the PBS
00:25:40.960 and a couple others,
00:25:42.580 you know,
00:25:42.700 $7 billion,
00:25:43.400 $9.3 billion.
00:25:45.680 We need to see rescissions.
00:25:47.580 I think there are going
00:25:48.280 to be pocket rescissions,
00:25:50.180 impoundments.
00:25:51.480 They'd rather go
00:25:52.160 the rescission route,
00:25:53.060 which is go back to Congress.
00:25:54.380 I'm much more,
00:25:55.000 let's just have the president
00:25:56.120 impound it,
00:25:57.400 go to court,
00:25:58.740 you know,
00:25:59.000 take on these radical judges
00:26:00.340 as we must.
00:26:02.420 There's all types of things
00:26:03.360 now going on about,
00:26:04.320 you know,
00:26:04.540 immigration,
00:26:05.240 his ability to,
00:26:06.140 you know,
00:26:06.320 they're hammering that
00:26:07.100 nonstop.
00:26:08.340 We're going to get
00:26:08.700 some clarity of that
00:26:09.680 probably tomorrow.
00:26:10.980 It's too much going on today.
00:26:12.020 But so on this
00:26:16.000 all-out war
00:26:16.620 on the spending cuts,
00:26:18.760 the essential deal
00:26:20.300 that was made
00:26:21.140 is,
00:26:21.500 hey,
00:26:21.620 let's vote for this.
00:26:22.700 It ain't pretty.
00:26:23.680 In fact,
00:26:24.020 some of it's quite ugly.
00:26:26.300 But there are other means
00:26:28.020 that we can get
00:26:28.560 to the objective.
00:26:29.740 If your objective
00:26:30.460 is to cut,
00:26:32.740 the president
00:26:33.760 has an article
00:26:34.440 to power to cut.
00:26:36.320 So let's get on with it.
00:26:38.140 Let's start cutting now.
00:26:40.500 You know,
00:26:40.760 Doge did not find,
00:26:42.200 Doge really didn't find
00:26:43.400 the Waste for Art and Abuse.
00:26:44.200 I would love the departments
00:26:45.140 to come back and say,
00:26:46.300 what is actually happening
00:26:47.640 in Social Security?
00:26:49.060 Okay?
00:26:49.580 What is actually happening
00:26:50.960 in Medicaid?
00:26:52.320 Right?
00:26:52.820 If we're to get this thing
00:26:53.820 right-sized,
00:26:55.220 the first thing
00:26:55.780 you got to do
00:26:56.120 is cut out the fraud.
00:26:58.360 You have to cut out
00:26:59.080 the abuse.
00:27:00.480 Right?
00:27:00.900 And you got to cut out
00:27:01.560 the waste.
00:27:02.140 Those things
00:27:02.660 should be low-hanging fruit.
00:27:04.480 To date,
00:27:05.060 when you really talk
00:27:05.760 about hard numbers,
00:27:06.660 you're not seeing a lot.
00:27:08.800 And that's what I think.
00:27:09.780 Go back to OMB,
00:27:10.920 which is really the adult
00:27:12.680 and really apparatus
00:27:13.980 runs most of this
00:27:16.000 as far as the apparatus goes.
00:27:18.660 And that has to be done.
00:27:19.860 I think they ought to be put up now.
00:27:21.100 As we're into this
00:27:22.700 appropriations process
00:27:23.880 for 2026.
00:27:26.200 If you think
00:27:26.860 of the big,
00:27:27.300 beautiful bill,
00:27:28.020 what the argument
00:27:28.740 that Russ Vogt
00:27:29.360 and these people made,
00:27:32.180 Bessent made it
00:27:32.840 on the economic side.
00:27:34.020 It's a supply-side tax cut,
00:27:35.840 and this will
00:27:36.540 turbocharge the economy
00:27:38.320 to get us to
00:27:39.200 and beyond
00:27:39.800 a 3% GDP growth rate.
00:27:42.440 Because once you do that,
00:27:44.600 the math,
00:27:45.140 you start to solve
00:27:45.760 a lot of problems.
00:27:47.140 Russ Vogt argued
00:27:48.300 another aspect of this,
00:27:49.720 of major structural changes
00:27:51.380 of taking out permit.
00:27:52.660 This is the $1.5 trillion.
00:27:54.020 Now, it's $1.5 trillion
00:27:55.220 over 10 years
00:27:56.900 where the spending,
00:27:57.600 I think,
00:27:57.840 is $90 trillion.
00:28:00.540 So it's not big,
00:28:01.540 but he said it's structural
00:28:02.440 and will lead
00:28:02.940 to better things.
00:28:05.420 In the interim,
00:28:07.880 you're going to have
00:28:08.600 $2 trillion deficits.
00:28:11.260 I'm telling you right now,
00:28:12.420 the deficit,
00:28:13.060 I think,
00:28:13.720 by September 30th,
00:28:15.160 at the end of the country's
00:28:16.800 fiscal year,
00:28:17.860 will be close
00:28:19.000 to $2.5 trillion.
00:28:21.100 And that will be
00:28:22.060 counted as
00:28:23.460 President Trump's
00:28:24.080 first year.
00:28:24.580 That's just the way
00:28:25.160 the math works out.
00:28:27.620 To cut that
00:28:28.760 interim deficit,
00:28:29.980 because remember,
00:28:30.620 they've got to lift
00:28:31.300 a $5 trillion
00:28:32.060 to the debt ceiling.
00:28:33.820 To get that,
00:28:35.160 the only way you got,
00:28:36.780 you know,
00:28:37.100 you can get into
00:28:37.680 this appropriation
00:28:38.300 of 26,
00:28:38.880 but to do it now,
00:28:40.160 you have to have
00:28:41.020 impoundments,
00:28:42.360 rescissions,
00:28:43.700 pocket rescissions,
00:28:44.460 and they've got
00:28:44.980 to be real numbers.
00:28:45.920 And when I say
00:28:46.460 real numbers,
00:28:46.960 I mean real big numbers.
00:28:49.620 Not the test case
00:28:50.740 of 9.2,
00:28:51.560 but real big numbers.
00:28:53.060 And somebody's got
00:28:54.600 to go back
00:28:55.200 to Social Security,
00:28:57.020 to Medicaid,
00:28:58.580 to Medicare,
00:29:00.400 immediately,
00:29:01.220 and get into the,
00:29:02.280 hey,
00:29:02.700 there's leakage
00:29:03.360 in the system.
00:29:04.140 We know that.
00:29:05.620 Let's identify it
00:29:06.960 and get the plumbers
00:29:09.620 in there
00:29:09.900 and seal the leaks.

00:29:21.380 amazing reporting
00:29:22.240 they're doing from Rio.
00:29:23.900 These guys understand
00:29:25.320 gold as a hedge
00:29:26.380 and they're coming
00:29:27.420 out of Rio
00:29:28.000 with so much more
00:29:30.460 in-depth knowledge
00:29:31.460 than anybody else
00:29:32.900 about what central banks
00:29:35.560 and finance ministers
00:29:36.600 are going to do
00:29:37.160 in the central global south,
00:29:39.440 the BRICS.

00:29:43.000 is to your benefit.

00:29:53.100 Short break.
00:29:53.940 Waiting for the cabinet
00:29:54.660 meeting next.
00:29:55.340 This July,
00:30:01.860 there is a global summit
00:30:02.840 of BRICS nations
00:30:04.020 in Rio de Janeiro.
00:30:05.700 The block
00:30:06.140 of emerging superpowers
00:30:07.480 including China,
00:30:08.960 Russia,
00:30:09.400 India,
00:30:09.960 and Persia
00:30:10.820 are meeting
00:30:11.800 with the goal
00:30:12.560 of displacing
00:30:13.420 the United States dollar
00:30:14.800 as the global currency.
00:30:16.500 They're calling this
00:30:17.800 the Rio Reset.
00:30:19.620 As BRICS nations
00:30:20.660 push forward
00:30:21.300 with their plans,
00:30:22.160 global demand
00:30:22.760 for U.S. dollars
00:30:23.520 will decrease,
00:30:24.660 bringing down
00:30:25.160 the value of the dollar
00:30:26.180 in your savings.
00:30:27.880 While this transition
00:30:28.860 won't not happen overnight,
00:30:31.420 but trust me,
00:30:32.260 it's going to start
00:30:33.140 in Rio.
00:30:34.300 The Rio Reset
00:30:35.340 in July
00:30:35.960 marks a pivotal moment
00:30:37.240 when BRICS objectives
00:30:38.720 move decisively
00:30:39.760 from a theoretical possibility
00:30:41.840 towards
00:30:42.500 an inevitable reality.

00:31:28.740 Here's your host,

00:31:32.160 You know,
00:31:32.780 you see what's going on
00:31:33.460 in Texas right now,
00:31:34.380 that horrible,
00:31:35.160 horrible tragedy
00:31:35.900 down there.
00:31:36.940 Make sure that you're prepared
00:31:38.280 in case anything hits
00:31:40.120 because nowadays
00:31:41.140 you just don't know.
00:31:42.480 A grid out
00:31:43.080 through artificial intelligence,
00:31:45.480 one of these,
00:31:46.700 and I happen to be
00:31:47.540 in North Carolina
00:31:48.320 over the weekend
00:31:49.020 and for biblical-type rains
00:31:51.760 in central North Carolina
00:31:53.540 and the Pinehurst,
00:31:54.680 Southern Pines,
00:31:56.400 Chapel Hill,
00:31:57.700 all of it,
00:31:58.280 just absolutely biblical
00:31:59.560 on Sunday.
00:32:00.900 Incredible.
00:32:01.720 Out of nowhere.
00:32:03.420 And the flooding
00:32:05.700 and the damage
00:32:06.500 and people,
00:32:07.240 you just,
00:32:07.600 you need to be prepared.

00:32:28.320 any kind of preparation work

00:32:31.900 These are the best people
00:32:33.240 in the industry.
00:32:34.020 They kind of invented
00:32:34.740 the industry.

00:32:44.980 too prepared.
00:32:46.500 Not in today's time.
00:32:47.780 With so many
00:32:48.300 different threats,
00:32:49.140 so many,
00:32:49.600 particularly the more
00:32:50.340 interconnected
00:32:50.880 that the world gets,
00:32:52.880 the more dangerous
00:32:54.680 it is.
00:32:55.820 Just a fact.
00:32:56.880 You heard
00:32:57.180 Noor Bin Laden
00:32:57.900 and Joe
00:32:59.060 from the
00:33:00.500 Artificial Intelligence
00:33:01.420 Conference in Geneva.
00:33:02.320 We don't have them
00:33:03.020 over there to hang out.
00:33:04.020 Those folks are
00:33:04.660 working 24-7.
00:33:06.740 That's why you need
00:33:07.640 to actually think
00:33:08.880 downrange
00:33:09.480 of the possibility
00:33:10.220 of what could happen
00:33:11.140 and you've got a company
00:33:12.660 that will advise you
00:33:13.400 on that.

00:33:25.460 Also,
00:33:25.840 the folks,
00:33:26.280 we spent some time
00:33:27.580 in Texas.
00:33:28.320 We got a lot of
00:33:28.840 announcements about Texas.
00:33:30.800 972 Patriot.
00:33:32.400 You know how great
00:33:33.240 they are

00:33:37.700 around.
00:33:40.600 MyPatriotMobile.com
00:33:41.580 slash Bannon.
00:33:43.220 Tell them Steve sent you.
00:33:44.220 Or 972 Patriot.
00:33:45.880 Glenn Story
00:33:46.420 and the great team there.
00:33:48.840 Okay.
00:33:51.460 A lot of things
00:33:52.320 are happening.
00:33:52.860 I think that's why
00:33:53.260 it's quite advisable
00:33:54.040 to have a board meeting
00:33:55.660 or a cabinet meeting
00:33:57.420 because that's kind of
00:33:58.020 the board of directors
00:33:58.820 of the U.S. government.
00:34:00.480 It's supposed to happen
00:34:01.220 at 11 o'clock.
00:34:02.020 It's been,
00:34:02.700 I guess,
00:34:02.940 slightly delayed
00:34:03.700 as often as what happens.
00:34:06.440 We will pick that up
00:34:07.460 in its entirety
00:34:08.040 because normally
00:34:08.600 if it's open to the press
00:34:09.760 and it's supposed to be
00:34:10.440 at least for a while,
00:34:11.080 President Trump always has
00:34:11.980 some sort of opening remarks
00:34:13.180 and then goes around the table.
00:34:15.480 I got a clip on Ukraine.
00:34:17.060 We must talk about Ukraine.
00:34:19.160 Let's go and talk about it.
00:34:20.740 President,
00:34:21.100 are you planning to send
00:34:21.940 more weapons to Ukraine?
00:34:24.740 We're going to send
00:34:25.520 some more weapons.
00:34:26.480 We have to.
00:34:26.980 They have to be able
00:34:27.880 to defend themselves.
00:34:29.080 They're getting hit
00:34:29.760 very hard now.
00:34:30.640 They're getting hit
00:34:31.840 very hard.
00:34:32.380 We're going to have
00:34:32.740 to send more weapons.
00:34:33.720 They're defensive weapons
00:34:35.060 primarily,
00:34:36.680 but they're getting hit
00:34:37.740 very, very hard.
00:34:40.000 So many people
00:34:41.040 are dying in that mess.
00:34:44.320 I'm not happy
00:34:45.240 with President Putin
00:34:46.420 at all,
00:34:47.780 but this is something
00:34:49.320 that would have never happened
00:34:50.380 if I were president.
00:34:51.340 I'm disappointed,
00:34:52.640 frankly,
00:34:53.140 that President Putin
00:34:54.940 hasn't stopped.
00:34:55.820 I'm not happy
00:34:56.420 about it either.
00:34:57.240 A couple days ago,
00:34:58.040 we had DOD
00:34:58.880 pause weapons
00:35:00.040 shipments to Ukraine
00:35:01.420 from Defense Secretary
00:35:02.640 Hegseth,
00:35:03.120 a call from him,
00:35:03.780 Richard.
00:35:04.400 President Trump
00:35:05.060 then saying,
00:35:05.560 no, no,
00:35:05.740 we want to continue it.
00:35:06.580 And then late last night,
00:35:07.420 DOD did announce
00:35:08.260 that they'll be sending more.
00:35:09.640 Although I am told
00:35:10.420 that they'd rather
00:35:11.500 outsource this.
00:35:12.520 They'd rather have
00:35:13.180 European partners
00:35:14.140 step up with
00:35:14.820 defensive missiles,
00:35:15.680 even like the Germans
00:35:16.720 buying Patriot batteries
00:35:17.880 from the U.S.,
00:35:18.480 then ship them to Ukraine
00:35:19.680 than a direct assist.
00:35:21.400 So this is the question here
00:35:23.440 is, to Joe's point,
00:35:25.320 is there a moment
00:35:26.080 where do you see
00:35:26.960 a moment coming,
00:35:27.680 people you've talked to
00:35:28.380 in the community,
00:35:29.280 where President Trump
00:35:30.060 might actually get tough
00:35:31.640 with Putin?
00:35:32.640 And what would that
00:35:33.100 look like?
00:35:34.700 We've been waiting
00:35:35.440 for it for, you know,
00:35:36.840 the entire first term.
00:35:37.920 We're now been waiting
00:35:38.520 for it for these months.
00:35:40.320 Yesterday was a rare piece,
00:35:41.800 a sliver of good news.
00:35:43.880 Look, the devil
00:35:44.420 will be in the details.
00:35:45.420 What kind of arms,
00:35:46.320 how much of arms,
00:35:47.100 for how long.
00:35:48.440 I find it hard.
00:35:49.720 It's not just this
00:35:50.620 pro-region position.
00:35:51.320 You see the globalist
00:35:51.840 right there.
00:35:52.700 Look, if you look
00:35:53.440 at the path
00:35:54.100 in the Israel situation,
00:35:57.100 you arm them
00:35:59.040 and some they buy
00:36:00.180 and most you just kind of,
00:36:01.420 you kind of give
00:36:02.340 or you give on loans
00:36:03.180 that are forgiven
00:36:03.760 or direct assistance.
00:36:06.520 Then they're so dependent
00:36:08.180 upon that.
00:36:10.080 And this is my problem
00:36:11.260 in Netanyahu.
00:36:12.040 They started a war
00:36:12.980 which they knew
00:36:13.520 they couldn't defend themselves,
00:36:15.000 number one.
00:36:15.720 Foreign Policy Magazine
00:36:16.780 does the analysis
00:36:17.440 and backs it up 100%.
00:36:18.880 And on offense,
00:36:20.700 they couldn't take out
00:36:21.440 which is the prime objective
00:36:22.580 which is the nuclear
00:36:23.540 bomb making capability
00:36:25.580 weaponization
00:36:26.340 of their nuclear program.
00:36:29.040 And all of a sudden,
00:36:29.900 we're drawn as a combatant
00:36:31.680 immediately.
00:36:32.500 If you're providing defense
00:36:33.740 for somebody
00:36:34.300 in an open kinetic war,
00:36:36.680 you're a combatant.
00:36:38.240 You can parse that
00:36:40.640 as much as you want
00:36:41.520 but you're a combatant.
00:36:43.180 You're providing defense.
00:36:46.080 And what happened
00:36:47.160 in the Persian situation?
00:36:49.800 Inexurably,
00:36:52.280 we got brought in
00:36:53.180 particularly since
00:36:54.060 our quote-unquote ally
00:36:55.320 or our protectorate
00:36:56.520 couldn't finish the job,
00:36:58.360 couldn't even come
00:36:58.900 close to finishing the job.
00:37:00.100 We had the most sophisticated,
00:37:02.340 lethal, bold strike
00:37:04.400 by the American Armed Forces,
00:37:07.160 the Navy with 30
00:37:08.300 Tomahawk missiles
00:37:10.420 and the Air Force
00:37:11.440 obviously with the B-2s
00:37:12.820 and others
00:37:14.000 that eradicated
00:37:15.980 for total obliteration
00:37:17.920 the nuclear program.
00:37:19.800 Write this down, folks.
00:37:22.700 The same thing's
00:37:23.260 going to happen in Ukraine.
00:37:24.280 If we don't force...
00:37:26.060 Because remember,
00:37:26.680 for the NATO guy
00:37:27.400 saying 5%,
00:37:28.100 that was all great.
00:37:29.140 President Trump
00:37:29.600 was very touched.
00:37:30.340 We thought it was a huge win
00:37:31.180 because they used to say
00:37:32.220 we weren't going to do
00:37:32.880 the 2%.
00:37:33.620 But the 5%
00:37:35.240 doesn't totally
00:37:37.060 finalize or kick...
00:37:38.500 It's not finally
00:37:39.800 kicked in until 2034.
00:37:42.300 It's going to take them
00:37:43.120 that long
00:37:43.620 to convince their population
00:37:44.720 if they're kind of
00:37:45.320 being a hold of it.
00:37:45.900 And don't think
00:37:47.480 they're all going
00:37:47.900 to live up to it.
00:37:48.600 Right now,
00:37:49.020 I don't think
00:37:49.440 any of them
00:37:50.000 are going to live up to it.
00:37:50.820 Maybe the Germans.
00:37:53.240 So that's why
00:37:54.260 this whole thing
00:37:55.020 right now
00:37:55.480 should be Europe.
00:37:57.300 You guys talk
00:37:57.980 a big game in Ukraine.
00:37:59.300 The EU drove this.
00:38:00.700 NATO drove this.
00:38:01.940 Where are you?
00:38:03.260 Mersheimer said
00:38:03.960 you weren't going
00:38:04.420 to be there.
00:38:04.940 Where are you?
00:38:06.880 Now,
00:38:08.040 and why did
00:38:08.540 President Trump
00:38:09.240 and the guys
00:38:09.960 at the Pentagon
00:38:10.400 stop it last week?
00:38:11.880 They stopped it last week
00:38:12.920 because we are severely
00:38:14.040 drawn down
00:38:15.040 for our own defense
00:38:17.360 and particularly
00:38:17.880 for the defense
00:38:18.540 of things we think
00:38:19.300 are very important
00:38:19.960 like in the Pacific.
00:38:21.860 We are field-stripping
00:38:23.240 Korea
00:38:23.780 and we are field-stripping
00:38:25.960 the potential defense
00:38:27.120 of Taiwan
00:38:27.920 to first supply
00:38:29.460 the Middle East,
00:38:31.200 right?
00:38:31.500 And number two
00:38:32.360 to now supply Ukraine.
00:38:34.720 We're down...
00:38:35.100 The Guardian's reporting
00:38:35.860 we're down...
00:38:36.460 This is why
00:38:36.960 they shut it down
00:38:37.620 last week.
00:38:38.060 We're down 75%
00:38:39.500 on the Patriot
00:38:41.020 Battle of Batteries.
00:38:42.920 Which is still
00:38:43.380 the principal
00:38:43.940 kind of front line
00:38:44.940 for surface-to-air defense.
00:38:47.680 And then you've got
00:38:48.240 the THAAD missile system
00:38:49.420 which I think
00:38:51.000 we're drawn down
00:38:51.760 25%
00:38:52.780 basically defending Israel.
00:38:55.420 If you get...
00:38:56.440 If the United States
00:38:57.080 gets sucked in
00:38:57.900 to directly doing this
00:39:00.700 and we take down
00:39:02.300 the thing...
00:39:02.820 You're just
00:39:03.560 teeing up Taiwan.
00:39:05.600 You're teeing up Taiwan
00:39:06.820 so God help
00:39:08.020 the 7th Fleet.
00:39:08.940 You got to reinforce
00:39:09.720 the 7th Fleet.
00:39:10.580 We got to be on patrol.
00:39:11.860 You ought to take
00:39:12.520 an aircraft carrier
00:39:13.420 through the Straits
00:39:14.080 of Taiwan.
00:39:14.720 Put them on notice
00:39:15.480 that you're ready
00:39:17.220 for this.
00:39:19.380 Because unlike Ukraine
00:39:21.000 and unlike Iran
00:39:22.300 we lose Taiwan
00:39:24.540 you're going to see
00:39:25.340 a big direct impact
00:39:27.420 on your life.
00:39:29.400 I go back
00:39:30.100 to the singularity
00:39:31.420 to quantum computing
00:39:32.400 and advanced chip design.
00:39:33.860 The advanced chip design
00:39:35.000 coming out of Taiwan
00:39:37.220 is still produced
00:39:37.940 in Taiwan.
00:39:38.500 at the capacities
00:39:40.340 we need
00:39:41.180 to run
00:39:43.280 an advanced
00:39:43.860 industrial economy.
00:39:45.060 Ours.
00:39:46.040 You saw already
00:39:46.780 let's be blunt
00:39:47.560 on the whole trade war.
00:39:49.840 China's been preparing
00:39:50.860 for this for a long time.
00:39:52.440 Where do you know that?
00:39:53.360 You know that
00:39:53.860 from the war room.
00:39:54.780 Why?
00:39:55.240 Because
00:39:55.720 in unrestricted
00:39:57.460 warfare folks
00:39:58.840 that they wrote
00:39:59.540 the manual
00:40:00.080 in the 90s
00:40:00.840 one of the big parts
00:40:01.720 of it is supply chains
00:40:03.060 in economic warfare.
00:40:05.400 It's one of their
00:40:05.720 biggest branches.
00:40:06.380 they knew
00:40:07.700 that if the United States
00:40:08.740 ever woke up
00:40:09.560 with a guy like Trump
00:40:10.720 and confronted them
00:40:12.460 that they needed
00:40:14.440 to be ready.
00:40:15.360 How were they ready?
00:40:16.220 Back
00:40:16.560 I don't know
00:40:17.660 in 2012
00:40:19.400 2013
00:40:20.240 they bought
00:40:21.080 basically a processing plant
00:40:24.020 I think it was in Ohio.
00:40:26.920 CFIUS didn't stop them
00:40:28.260 under the Biden
00:40:29.260 excuse me
00:40:30.500 under the
00:40:31.480 Obama administration
00:40:34.000 and one of the reasons
00:40:35.020 was Joe Biden
00:40:35.780 was supposed to be
00:40:36.200 on top of it
00:40:36.820 and who knows
00:40:37.440 whose payroll
00:40:38.040 he was on.
00:40:40.220 And that processing
00:40:41.220 is where the magnets
00:40:42.240 and some of the ball bearings
00:40:43.180 come from.
00:40:44.280 When we did this
00:40:45.240 and threw down hard
00:40:46.340 the Chinese go
00:40:47.480 how about this
00:40:48.300 no rare earths.
00:40:50.460 And they had
00:40:51.440 some leverage.
00:40:52.780 They definitely
00:40:53.200 had some leverage.
00:40:56.140 Think of what would happen
00:40:57.380 in a flat out war
00:40:58.880 with Taiwan
00:40:59.320 and they're playing
00:41:00.020 they're not doing exercises
00:41:01.240 they're doing rehearsals
00:41:02.760 right now
00:41:03.520 for Taiwan
00:41:04.420 and that's the big enchilada.
00:41:07.400 What happens in Kiev
00:41:08.700 has no vital
00:41:10.280 national security
00:41:11.320 implications
00:41:12.080 to the United States
00:41:13.120 of America at all.
00:41:13.840 Now
00:41:14.060 President Trump
00:41:15.520 has tried to have
00:41:16.420 a rapprochement
00:41:17.140 with Putin.
00:41:18.980 We announced
00:41:19.900 the limitations
00:41:20.540 last week.
00:41:22.000 President Trump
00:41:22.560 had a conversation
00:41:23.540 a two hour conversation.
00:41:24.900 We know
00:41:25.480 from what's been said
00:41:28.220 and President Trump
00:41:29.200 has said
00:41:29.460 it did not go well.
00:41:32.000 Putin was not
00:41:32.800 really open to
00:41:33.900 you know
00:41:34.820 President Trump
00:41:36.000 and the Americans
00:41:36.380 we've been involved
00:41:37.000 for a while
00:41:37.320 trying to put
00:41:37.780 you know
00:41:38.160 trying to get a ceasefire
00:41:39.100 trying to put it to bed
00:41:39.960 cutting an economic deal
00:41:41.160 with the Ukrainians
00:41:41.920 which
00:41:42.320 and as you know
00:41:43.200 in the war
00:41:43.560 I'm not a fan of that
00:41:44.620 President Trump
00:41:45.820 going out of his way
00:41:46.780 to trying to get some
00:41:47.500 put their guns down
00:41:48.480 and let's get to a ceasefire
00:41:49.680 and talk
00:41:50.200 and talk about territory
00:41:52.360 and Putin
00:41:53.520 just basically said
00:41:54.580 thanks for the memories.
00:41:57.400 Axios reported
00:41:58.080 Putin was pretty adamant
00:41:59.120 this is a bilateral negotiation
00:42:00.720 we don't need the Americans.
00:42:03.180 That's what President Trump said
00:42:04.260 hey
00:42:04.520 Putin was very tough
00:42:05.560 and I'm not happy.
00:42:07.240 Then he said
00:42:07.620 he's not happy
00:42:08.340 ten times.
00:42:10.500 That night
00:42:11.400 Putin
00:42:12.420 lit up Kiev
00:42:14.840 and the President
00:42:16.460 was a lot less happy
00:42:17.760 with that.
00:42:19.060 He considered that
00:42:19.800 like one of
00:42:20.440 Netanyahu's moves
00:42:21.580 that when the ceasefires
00:42:22.400 announced
00:42:22.860 he went in and hammered
00:42:24.220 the Persians
00:42:25.060 one more time.
00:42:27.100 And President Trump
00:42:27.660 said hey
00:42:28.060 I'm really
00:42:29.420 not happy now.
00:42:31.860 Ann Applebaum
00:42:32.920 reported
00:42:33.460 in the Atlantic
00:42:34.220 I've got it up on
00:42:35.320 Getter
00:42:36.160 everybody
00:42:37.320 read it
00:42:37.680 she's a Trump hater
00:42:38.600 and a MAGA hater
00:42:39.580 and a Steve Bannon hater
00:42:40.660 it doesn't matter.
00:42:42.360 She had really good reporting
00:42:44.080 remember her husband's
00:42:45.000 a senior
00:42:45.740 politician
00:42:47.280 over in Poland.
00:42:49.220 Her
00:42:49.700 scoop
00:42:51.560 I thought
00:42:52.200 was
00:42:53.700 an army
00:42:54.900 of ground
00:42:56.560 of ground
00:42:56.580 forces
00:42:57.000 675,000
00:43:00.540 man
00:43:01.620 army
00:43:02.140 by the Russians
00:43:03.540 who were supposed
00:43:04.260 to be defeated
00:43:04.900 remember that
00:43:05.560 675,000
00:43:08.260 ready to go
00:43:09.220 for summer operations
00:43:10.320 and here's
00:43:12.580 what's going to happen
00:43:13.320 they're going to
00:43:15.260 now start driving
00:43:16.000 for real territory
00:43:16.820 and they may
00:43:17.500 drive to Kiev
00:43:18.320 and just tell the West
00:43:19.900 hey
00:43:20.200 put up
00:43:21.360 or shut up
00:43:21.940 that's how
00:43:23.840 the United States
00:43:24.660 gets inexorably
00:43:25.760 drawn in
00:43:26.420 as a combatant
00:43:27.860 number one
00:43:28.380 on the defense
00:43:28.940 number two
00:43:29.580 the cry for help
00:43:31.080 the cry for help
00:43:33.440 part of
00:43:34.380 putting
00:43:34.980 remember
00:43:35.420 President Trump
00:43:36.080 gave a two week
00:43:37.160 window
00:43:38.840 for negotiations
00:43:40.480 he couldn't find
00:43:41.360 anybody to negotiate
00:43:42.200 Ayatollah
00:43:43.140 smack talking
00:43:43.920 all of that
00:43:45.440 but one of the
00:43:47.080 aspects here
00:43:47.640 is the Israelis
00:43:48.420 couldn't take
00:43:49.080 much more pounding
00:43:50.000 they were getting
00:43:51.940 people
00:43:52.240 the folks in Tel Aviv
00:43:53.200 were getting crushed
00:43:54.100 because of this
00:43:55.660 overwhelming ballistic
00:43:56.680 missile operation
00:43:57.940 that Persians had
00:43:58.980 you don't think
00:44:00.440 that's going to
00:44:00.900 happen in Ukraine
00:44:01.560 we make this
00:44:04.420 commitment
00:44:04.760 and don't force
00:44:05.700 the Europeans
00:44:06.220 on it
00:44:06.540 it's not like
00:44:07.060 oh buy it from us
00:44:07.960 and give it to us
00:44:08.500 we don't make
00:44:09.140 the Europeans
00:44:09.560 step up
00:44:10.240 and step up
00:44:10.880 now
00:44:11.120 and understand
00:44:11.700 that's their
00:44:12.800 problem
00:44:13.240 we are
00:44:14.720 inexorably
00:44:15.540 going to get
00:44:16.020 drawn into
00:44:16.680 this war
00:44:17.200 just like we
00:44:18.620 were drawn
00:44:19.640 into the
00:44:20.140 Persian war
00:44:20.760 thank God
00:44:22.260 President Trump
00:44:22.960 came up
00:44:23.400 and shut it
00:44:24.040 down as a
00:44:24.640 12 day war
00:44:25.660 and now
00:44:27.220 he's moving
00:44:27.760 to shut down
00:44:28.300 he shut down
00:44:28.940 Gaza
00:44:29.260 he said
00:44:29.500 I've seen
00:44:29.800 enough of that
00:44:30.400 President Trump's
00:44:32.020 a man of peace
00:44:32.880 trying to get
00:44:33.400 everybody laid
00:44:34.040 down their
00:44:34.320 weapons
00:44:34.660 and we're
00:44:35.000 going to
00:44:35.180 figure this
00:44:35.580 out as far
00:44:35.960 as the deal
00:44:36.400 goes
00:44:36.780 but
00:44:39.280 once you
00:44:40.600 start sending
00:44:41.120 in weapons
00:44:41.700 and defensive
00:44:42.320 systems
00:44:42.840 and they
00:44:43.180 start coming
00:44:43.660 to you
00:44:44.020 and the emotion
00:44:45.020 it's going
00:44:45.400 to be the
00:44:45.620 front page
00:44:46.060 of every
00:44:46.400 paper
00:44:46.860 Kiv
00:44:47.620 getting pounded
00:44:48.620 kids
00:44:49.560 getting killed
00:44:50.380 families
00:44:51.720 being destroyed
00:44:52.320 because remember
00:44:52.760 when you talk
00:44:53.500 about the
00:44:54.500 2 million
00:44:55.000 casualties
00:44:55.600 the 1 million
00:44:56.720 from the
00:44:57.040 Russians
00:44:57.360 are dead
00:44:58.200 and wounded
00:44:58.600 soldiers
00:44:59.200 when you
00:45:00.900 talk about
00:45:01.540 the 1 million
00:45:02.340 that President
00:45:02.760 Trump talks
00:45:03.280 about in
00:45:03.500 Ukraine
00:45:03.900 that is
00:45:04.600 soldiers
00:45:05.120 dead
00:45:05.440 wounded
00:45:05.660 soldiers
00:45:06.060 and civilians
00:45:06.960 the civilian
00:45:07.540 population
00:45:08.260 casualties
00:45:09.880 have been
00:45:10.520 massive
00:45:11.100 just look
00:45:11.700 at what
00:45:12.160 Ukraine
00:45:12.700 looks like
00:45:13.180 parts of
00:45:13.620 it look
00:45:13.900 like
00:45:14.200 the
00:45:15.340 Western
00:45:15.680 Front
00:45:16.100 in
00:45:16.360 World
00:45:16.580 War
00:45:16.760 I
00:45:17.080 and they
00:45:17.480 fought
00:45:17.920 like
00:45:18.180 the
00:45:18.320 Western
00:45:18.580 Front
00:45:18.900 in
00:45:19.120 World
00:45:19.320 War
00:45:19.480 I
00:45:19.660 that
00:45:20.060 level
00:45:20.460 of
00:45:20.600 brutality
00:45:21.040 short
00:45:21.660 commercial
00:45:22.000 break
00:45:22.260 back in a
00:45:22.740 moment
00:45:22.900 there's something
00:45:28.760 happening with our
00:45:29.700 farmland here in the
00:45:30.740 United States that
00:45:31.660 isn't getting enough
00:45:32.680 attention the Chinese
00:45:33.700 have been buying up
00:45:34.960 hundreds of
00:45:36.140 thousands of acres
00:45:37.120 of US farmland
00:45:38.180 they're also taking
00:45:39.900 control over critical
00:45:41.120 supply chains
00:45:42.020 things like fertilizer
00:45:43.180 animal feed
00:45:44.300 and farming
00:45:45.000 equipment
00:45:45.500 why
00:45:45.960 it's not
00:45:47.200 clear

00:47:12.400 but after four years
00:47:13.340 of inflation
00:47:13.980 the real crisis

00:47:43.320 and they don't try
00:47:44.120 to sell you
00:47:44.560 a bankruptcy
00:47:45.160 they're tough
00:47:46.320 negotiators
00:47:47.120 that go one-on-one
00:47:48.520 with your credit card
00:47:49.500 and loan companies
00:47:50.360 with one goal
00:47:51.100 to drastically

00:47:53.640 interest
00:47:54.240 and erase penalties

00:47:58.100 money in their pocket
00:47:59.060 month one
00:48:00.480 and they don't
00:48:01.520 stop until they

00:48:41.160 there

00:48:42.600 hang on
00:48:43.360 let's go right
00:48:44.000 now into the
00:48:44.660 cabinet room

00:48:55.160 them all in the room
00:48:55.900 are you okay
00:48:57.600 thank you very much
00:49:01.140 we've had a tremendous
00:49:02.200 six months
00:49:03.580 and we've had a tremendous
00:49:04.820 two weeks
00:49:06.340 which now is I guess
00:49:07.700 three weeks
00:49:08.280 and we have a tremendous
00:49:10.560 group of people here
00:49:11.700 that have done a great
00:49:13.080 unified beautiful job
00:49:14.860 I want in particular
00:49:17.460 because of what she's
00:49:19.080 gone through
00:49:19.500 this last few days
00:49:20.940 done an incredible job
00:49:22.880 as you know
00:49:24.460 Christy you
00:49:26.280 I've been asked you
00:49:28.260 to say a few words
00:49:29.120 about Texas
00:49:30.020 the first person
00:49:32.740 there was
00:49:33.380 the first person
00:49:34.720 I saw on television
00:49:35.560 was you
00:49:36.060 actually
00:49:36.620 and you've worked
00:49:38.060 great with the governor
00:49:38.820 it's terrific
00:49:39.440 and
00:49:41.100 you might want to tell
00:49:43.200 a little bit about
00:49:44.520 the trials and tribulations
00:49:46.380 but we appreciate the job
00:49:48.080 that you and everybody
00:49:49.120 have done
00:49:49.840 you had
00:49:50.440 you had people there
00:49:52.400 as fast as anybody
00:49:53.700 has ever seen
00:49:54.380 so really appreciate it
00:49:56.160 we all do
00:49:56.700 and maybe you could say
00:49:57.580 a few words
00:49:58.140 well thank you
00:49:59.400 Mr. President
00:49:59.960 I want to thank you
00:50:00.600 for your leadership
00:50:01.320 Texas is strong
00:50:03.000 and the people of Texas
00:50:04.840 are incredibly strong
00:50:05.820 they've gone through
00:50:06.480 something that is
00:50:07.260 absolutely horrific
00:50:08.300 and it is heartbreaking
00:50:10.380 to watch these families
00:50:11.700 suffer the way
00:50:13.220 that they are
00:50:13.800 as soon as this
00:50:15.700 flash flooding event
00:50:17.280 happened
00:50:17.840 you know
00:50:18.720 the governor
00:50:19.160 has activated
00:50:20.840 his emergency responders
00:50:22.900 Nim Kidd
00:50:23.580 is his emergency
00:50:24.840 management director
00:50:25.640 who is incredible
00:50:26.620 and has
00:50:28.160 immediately worked
00:50:29.600 with the local
00:50:30.100 first responders
00:50:30.820 to get help
00:50:31.520 to individuals
00:50:32.040 and get them evacuated
00:50:33.220 put requests
00:50:34.380 in to me
00:50:35.060 we deployed
00:50:37.180 SIR right away
00:50:38.080 as you know
00:50:39.440 because you and I
00:50:40.140 were talking a lot
00:50:41.040 during this time
00:50:41.660 that Coast Guard
00:50:42.380 we also had some assets
00:50:44.040 out of Customs
00:50:44.800 and Border Protection
00:50:45.540 our BORTAC teams
00:50:46.860 went in
00:50:47.360 and helped
00:50:48.280 with rescues
00:50:49.280 and clearing debris
00:50:50.620 so that we could get
00:50:51.520 roads open
00:50:52.940 and people get the help
00:50:54.160 that they need
00:50:54.780 I think when I got there
00:50:55.940 the most SIR that day
00:50:57.860 as soon as I arrived
00:51:00.060 on site
00:51:00.560 was getting a briefing
00:51:01.500 from all the emergency
00:51:02.320 responders
00:51:02.920 was just how unified
00:51:05.040 they were
00:51:05.780 in focusing on the fact
00:51:07.940 that they were there
00:51:08.940 to save lives
00:51:09.700 they were there
00:51:10.760 to rescue people
00:51:11.660 find people
00:51:12.280 who were still alive
00:51:13.180 and to reunify them
00:51:15.100 with their family members
00:51:16.200 we as a federal government
00:51:18.380 don't manage
00:51:19.600 these disasters
00:51:20.640 the state does
00:51:21.660 we come in
00:51:22.680 and support them
00:51:23.500 and that's exactly
00:51:24.520 what we did
00:51:25.300 here in this situation
00:51:26.660 FEMA went to
00:51:27.420 an enhanced level
00:51:28.260 immediately
00:51:28.860 but as soon as
00:51:30.080 you signed
00:51:30.840 the major disaster
00:51:33.040 declaration
00:51:33.740 we were able
00:51:35.280 to get them
00:51:36.020 resources and dollars
00:51:37.100 right away
00:51:37.580 just like you envisioned
00:51:38.520 through state block grants
00:51:39.860 to help them
00:51:40.860 with clean up
00:51:41.540 and we're still there
00:51:42.920 in presence
00:51:43.460 and FEMA's been deployed
00:51:44.460 and we're cutting
00:51:45.040 through the paperwork
00:51:45.740 of the old FEMA
00:51:46.660 streamlining it
00:51:47.920 much like your vision
00:51:48.880 of how FEMA
00:51:49.960 should operate
00:51:50.580 and it's been
00:51:51.220 a much better response
00:51:52.400 to help these families
00:51:53.440 get through this
00:51:55.040 terrible situation
00:51:55.960 we still are looking
00:51:57.060 for people
00:51:57.720 we're still looking
00:51:58.780 for a lot of little girls
00:52:00.660 and other family members
00:52:02.580 that were camping
00:52:04.040 along that river
00:52:04.940 and they will continue
00:52:07.800 until they find
00:52:08.540 every single person
00:52:09.960 and we will continue
00:52:10.800 to help them
00:52:11.400 and assist in that
00:52:12.240 I was surprised
00:52:13.160 when I got there
00:52:14.380 at the camp
00:52:16.280 that day
00:52:17.160 right after this happened
00:52:19.460 the parents
00:52:21.140 that were there
00:52:21.800 the parents
00:52:23.220 that were looking
00:52:24.060 for their children
00:52:24.740 and picking up
00:52:25.520 their daughter's
00:52:27.600 stuffed animals
00:52:28.280 out of the mud
00:52:29.020 and finding
00:52:29.860 their daughter's shoe
00:52:32.360 that might be
00:52:33.180 laying in the cabin
00:52:34.700 and just hugging
00:52:36.840 and comforting people
00:52:37.980 matters a lot
00:52:39.000 I'm extremely grateful
00:52:40.280 for God's hand
00:52:42.380 in that whole situation
00:52:43.580 because hundreds
00:52:44.540 and hundreds
00:52:44.960 and hundreds
00:52:45.320 of people were saved
00:52:46.260 and this is a time
00:52:50.100 for all of us
00:52:50.860 in this country
00:52:51.420 to remember
00:52:52.060 that we were created
00:52:53.480 to serve each other
00:52:54.480 God created us
00:52:56.900 to take care
00:52:57.960 of each other
00:52:58.500 and that when we do
00:53:00.100 that we are happier
00:53:01.240 we are more fulfilled
00:53:03.480 and we can walk
00:53:05.080 alongside people
00:53:05.900 on their worst day
00:53:06.940 and help them
00:53:08.120 get through it
00:53:09.320 and come out
00:53:09.740 the other side
00:53:10.540 knowing that we can
00:53:13.720 continue to live
00:53:15.640 a life that God
00:53:16.440 has purposed for us
00:53:17.380 so they're grateful
00:53:18.480 for you
00:53:18.980 several times
00:53:20.160 the day after the flooding
00:53:22.380 you and Melania
00:53:23.160 were on the phone
00:53:23.920 with me
00:53:24.280 and I want to thank you
00:53:25.160 for that
00:53:26.120 and that meant the world
00:53:27.180 I was able to tell
00:53:28.120 many of those folks
00:53:29.020 that I had been
00:53:30.160 visiting with you
00:53:30.980 and that you had said
00:53:31.820 whatever they need
00:53:32.620 Christy
00:53:33.040 let's deploy it
00:53:34.320 and get it down there
00:53:35.080 and be helpful
00:53:35.840 and on Sunday
00:53:36.560 when the families
00:53:37.860 were waiting
00:53:38.360 at a church
00:53:38.940 to identify
00:53:39.840 their children's bodies
00:53:41.540 Franklin Graham
00:53:42.760 and I called in
00:53:45.160 and prayed with the families
00:53:46.780 and read some scripture
00:53:47.620 with them
00:53:48.220 and he was incredible
00:53:50.320 in making himself
00:53:51.160 available to that as well
00:53:52.440 we'll be back down there
00:53:53.660 in a couple of days
00:53:55.120 and continue to do
00:53:57.000 all we can
00:53:57.460 but this
00:53:57.880 this is an unprecedented event
00:54:00.280 it really is
00:54:00.980 there's been tragedies
00:54:03.140 like this around the country
00:54:04.360 but everyone is unique
00:54:06.100 in different situations
00:54:07.480 and
00:54:08.180 you know
00:54:10.240 the response
00:54:10.780 the federal government
00:54:11.500 had supporting the state
00:54:12.700 through this
00:54:13.300 I'm proud of
00:54:14.700 the people that
00:54:15.680 stepped up
00:54:16.440 and immediately came
00:54:17.260 the Coast Guard
00:54:17.920 when they came in
00:54:18.880 they had a difficult time
00:54:21.800 even getting the aircraft
00:54:22.760 in and landed
00:54:23.700 they had to try
00:54:24.420 several times
00:54:25.120 in the weather
00:54:25.600 to get it in
00:54:26.440 and deploy
00:54:27.480 and I think
00:54:28.000 we've heard about
00:54:28.960 you know
00:54:29.720 our one Coast Guard
00:54:30.860 member
00:54:31.180 that was responsible
00:54:33.020 for saving
00:54:33.660 over 165 people
00:54:35.120 but that entire crew
00:54:36.200 did incredible work
00:54:37.140 and all the first responders
00:54:38.840 there did incredible work
00:54:39.920 and I know people
00:54:40.440 are getting tired now
00:54:41.400 but they're
00:54:43.620 getting reinforcements
00:54:45.120 and volunteers
00:54:45.860 are showing up
00:54:46.820 and I just want to
00:54:47.820 commend the governor
00:54:48.480 and his team
00:54:49.320 for being the leaders
00:54:50.780 and they're so thankful
00:54:52.680 that you're letting them
00:54:53.600 make the decisions
00:54:55.020 and manage the response
00:54:56.160 like it should be
00:54:57.080 and then us
00:54:58.820 supporting them
00:54:59.620 with the resources
00:55:00.380 of the federal government
00:55:01.140 we've already deployed
00:55:02.040 dollars to the state
00:55:03.460 much like the block grants
00:55:05.180 that you've talked about
00:55:05.920 so
00:55:06.300 very grateful for that sir
00:55:07.880 there's never been
00:55:08.940 a wave like this
00:55:09.960 outside of the breaking
00:55:11.160 of a dam
00:55:11.760 because this was
00:55:13.480 almost a wave
00:55:14.720 that was
00:55:15.880 ended up being
00:55:16.660 30 feet high more
00:55:17.740 actually
00:55:18.380 now with a dam
00:55:20.120 you can understand it
00:55:21.220 but this approached
00:55:22.740 almost with that speed
00:55:24.220 when you see a dam break
00:55:25.820 it's not a pretty sight
00:55:26.860 it wipes out everything
00:55:27.900 and this is the kind
00:55:28.800 of thing that built up
00:55:29.660 so fast
00:55:30.300 and it's happened
00:55:32.520 two or three times
00:55:33.840 before over the years
00:55:34.960 but not to this extent
00:55:36.460 but tell them
00:55:39.160 when you met
00:55:39.960 the father
00:55:40.540 who was picking up
00:55:41.440 the daughter's clothing
00:55:43.180 I had walked
00:55:44.120 through the cabin
00:55:45.080 where all the little
00:55:45.760 girls died
00:55:46.580 and I had kind of
00:55:50.200 fallen apart in there
00:55:50.920 but I walked out
00:55:51.660 of the cabin
00:55:52.220 and a gentleman
00:55:53.340 was standing there
00:55:53.960 and he said
00:55:54.520 that man over there
00:55:57.520 needs a hug
00:55:58.060 and so I walked
00:55:59.600 over to him
00:56:00.320 and I hugged him
00:56:01.000 and I said
00:56:01.380 do you work here
00:56:02.080 and he said
00:56:03.120 no
00:56:03.420 my little girl
00:56:04.200 was in that cabin
00:56:05.100 and he said
00:56:06.380 and I just found
00:56:07.100 her best friend
00:56:07.940 about an hour
00:56:08.900 and a half ago
00:56:09.460 she had passed away
00:56:10.340 and he just fell apart
00:56:12.560 and so then
00:56:13.180 we just
00:56:13.840 hugged and talked
00:56:16.440 for probably an hour
00:56:17.480 about that
00:56:18.780 but then there was
00:56:19.440 another
00:56:19.760 the grandpa was there
00:56:21.420 looking for his
00:56:22.140 granddaughter
00:56:22.580 as well
00:56:23.780 there was a dad
00:56:24.620 there of one
00:56:25.060 of the counselors
00:56:25.700 the counselor
00:56:27.440 was alive
00:56:28.140 but she was dealing
00:56:29.120 with the fact
00:56:29.660 that she had hung
00:56:30.520 on to some
00:56:31.120 of these girls
00:56:31.760 and was trying
00:56:32.900 to keep them
00:56:33.360 out of the floodwaters
00:56:34.280 and had gotten
00:56:35.840 hit by something
00:56:37.120 and had lost
00:56:37.840 two of the girls
00:56:39.280 and wasn't able
00:56:40.460 to hang on to them
00:56:41.260 and was going to live
00:56:42.120 the rest of her life
00:56:42.880 thinking about
00:56:43.580 that moment
00:56:45.260 when she wasn't able
00:56:46.260 to hang on
00:56:46.760 to these girls
00:56:47.400 but these parents
00:56:49.320 were picking up
00:56:50.080 their kids' belongings
00:56:51.120 out of the mud
00:56:51.980 and throughout the camp
00:56:53.560 and putting them
00:56:54.120 in bags
00:56:54.600 and then one of the dads
00:56:56.480 said I knew 50
00:56:57.980 of these girls here
00:56:58.860 so what I knew
00:57:00.680 that was her dress
00:57:03.020 it's my daughter's
00:57:04.260 friend's dress
00:57:04.800 so he was picking it up
00:57:06.160 and putting it in a bag
00:57:07.040 to return to her parents
00:57:08.200 and so it was
00:57:10.040 and then the director
00:57:11.560 was there comforting
00:57:12.460 everybody
00:57:13.020 who had lost his father
00:57:14.640 the night before too
00:57:16.660 and he was still there
00:57:17.660 trying to facilitate
00:57:19.040 all of these parents
00:57:20.080 grieving their children
00:57:21.360 and find them
00:57:22.160 so the strength
00:57:23.480 of people
00:57:24.380 is incredible
00:57:25.840 one of the things
00:57:26.900 that I asked
00:57:27.720 there to that day
00:57:29.340 was that they all
00:57:30.120 have escorts
00:57:31.180 or counselors
00:57:31.780 when parents come in
00:57:33.100 so from that point
00:57:34.540 Steve Bannon
00:57:34.940 in the war room
00:57:35.640 live cabinet meeting
00:57:36.920 Charlie Kirk's
00:57:37.660 going to pick it up
00:57:38.160 from here
00:57:38.460 we're back
00:57:39.020 at 5 p.m.
00:57:40.200 Eastern Daylight Time
00:57:40.980 see you then
00:57:41.520 in the war room
00:57:42.060 the strength of people
00:57:42.660 is incredible
00:57:44.060 one of the things
00:57:45.120 that I asked
00:57:45.940 there to that day
00:57:47.560 was that they all
00:57:48.360 have escorts
00:57:49.400 or counselors
00:57:50.000 when parents come in
00:57:51.280 so from that point
00:57:53.220 that when they came
00:57:54.360 into the camp
00:57:55.120 that they have
00:57:55.980 somebody with them
00:57:56.940 when they're going
00:57:58.320 and looking
00:57:58.840 for their children's
00:58:00.280 belongings
00:58:00.680 or looking for
00:58:01.520 their children
00:58:02.060 and so
00:58:02.940 very emotional
00:58:05.320 but also
00:58:08.360 just so tragic
00:58:10.580 the relationship
00:58:12.160 with Texas
00:58:12.880 and the governor
00:58:13.860 has been obviously
00:58:14.800 very good for years
00:58:15.760 with me
00:58:16.260 but the relationship
00:58:17.640 with Texas
00:58:18.700 and their first responders
00:58:20.080 and us
00:58:21.060 with our first responders
00:58:22.740 what if he had
00:58:23.680 the brightest mind
00:58:24.640 in the war room
00:58:25.420 delivering critical
00:58:26.580 financial research
00:58:27.700 every month

00:58:42.440 college victory
00:58:43.240 exactly
00:58:44.200 312 to 226
00:58:46.680 down to the actual

00:58:49.780 now he's issuing
00:58:51.340 a dire warning
00:58:52.200 about April 11th
00:58:53.740 a moment that could
