00:00:01.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:06.000 Pray for our enemies,
00:00:08.000 because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:11.000 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:15.000 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:17.000 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:19.000 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:21.000 but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
00:00:23.000 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:26.000 MAGA Media.
00:00:27.000 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:32.000 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:36.000 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:43.000 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:00:49.000 It's Wednesday, 9 July, Year of the Lord 2025.
00:00:52.000 The CEO of Twitter just resigned, Linda Yaccarino,
00:00:56.000 who was hired to add some adult supervision on something that's totally out of control.
00:01:02.000 And sorry, lady, you were there. It's on your watch.
00:01:05.000 You're making you're making hundreds of millions of dollars.
00:01:07.000 You're getting billions of dollars of stock.
00:01:10.000 Sorry, lady, that that's coming a day late and a dollar short.
00:01:15.000 Not just that, the stuff he said about President Trump,
00:01:19.000 the Trump movement, this new third party, all this crazy stuff he's talking about.
00:01:24.000 He's a major defense contractor.
00:01:26.000 Any board of directors and the board is liable.
00:01:30.000 The board members better start line because you're going to get caught up in it, too.
00:01:34.000 Any board of directors of any defense contractors.
00:01:37.000 Number one would have put Elmo on on leave, on administrative or psychiatric leave.
00:01:45.000 They would have demanded his security clearance been pulled.
00:01:47.000 They would have done a complete review or your contracts are cut.
00:01:51.000 SpaceX, Starlink, all of it.
00:01:53.000 I'm never going to talk about the economics.
00:01:55.000 I'll get to that days ahead, the rip off there.
00:01:59.000 Do you think of Northrop or Grumman or Martin Marietta or Lockheed or one of the shipbuilders or anything,
00:02:06.000 any of these publicly traded or private companies, if a CEO chairman acted like this,
00:02:11.000 that they would allow that behavior to continue?
00:02:15.000 Are you nuts?
00:02:17.000 You're all liable.
00:02:18.000 This is the way the system works.
00:02:19.000 We're just going to use the system.
00:02:20.000 You're all liable.
00:02:21.000 If you can't keep Elmo in his playpen.
00:02:25.000 Right.
00:02:26.000 If you can't, you're responsible.
00:02:28.000 You have a fiduciary.
00:02:29.000 She understands that.
00:02:30.000 What do you think the hell she's heading out of town?
00:02:33.000 She understands that.
00:02:35.000 Not controllable.
00:02:37.000 And you shouldn't have uncontrollable people as defense contractors.
00:02:40.000 We have the.
00:02:41.000 OK, the press is about to start.
00:02:42.000 Poso, you got to hang on because we get to this big story.
00:02:44.000 Papadoff saying let's go live to the press conference.
00:02:47.000 Kerrville, I think it is.
00:02:48.000 Okay, here's our morning update for July 8th.
00:02:55.000 Search efforts continue throughout Kerr County.
00:02:58.000 As of 8 a.m. this morning, several times, there are 95 deceased.
00:03:03.000 I'm going to kind of break down the numbers for you.
00:03:05.000 On adults, there's 59, unidentified 14.
00:03:08.000 Children, 36, unidentified 13.
00:03:13.000 Camp Mystic currently still has missing five campers and one counselor.
00:03:18.000 Officials report there are 161 missing people in Kerr County area.
00:03:25.000 Community members are asked not to conduct debris management of their property until directed by law enforcement.
00:03:33.000 There is also a no burn ban in Kerr County at this time until further notice.
00:03:37.000 Let me give you a visual.
00:03:40.000 I know probably probably all of y'all have been in our community capturing the aftermath of this disaster.
00:03:46.000 But with that said, also take note that Kerr County is 1100 square miles of beautiful but complex hill country.
00:03:56.000 There are rural areas that may experience extended response times.
00:04:01.000 Areas where cell service is spotty.
00:04:03.000 Where the area is single lane bridges and low water crossings.
00:04:07.000 Sometimes evacuations is not the safest.
00:04:10.000 Sometimes it's better to shelter in place.
00:04:12.000 The hill country is not a one size fit all place.
00:04:16.000 First responders from emergency services throughout Kerr County promptly responded to the recent emergency as the situation unfolded.
00:04:27.000 As with other significant events that our emergencies services encounter, this incident will be reviewed.
00:04:34.000 You have my word.
00:04:35.000 When or if necessary, if improvements need to be made, improvements will be made.
00:04:41.000 What I'd like to do right now is kind of give you a breakdown.
00:04:43.000 You know, I believe the latest latest report I had, we over have 2100 people out here at some capacity on this incident.
00:04:51.000 As far as Kerr County Sheriff's Office right now, what our office is currently doing, it's kind of a it's all hands on deck.
00:04:57.000 Everybody we got are out here, but also we have additional 2000 plus people helping us.
00:05:02.000 But as far as our patrol division, you know, they're right now they're involved in answering calls.
00:05:07.000 You have to remember, we still got day to day calls we have to handle.
00:05:10.000 But they're also involved in different kinds of rescue and recovery efforts.
00:05:16.000 My CID division, criminal investigation division, is assisting with operations at the funeral home.
00:05:22.000 They're also assisting with the identification process.
00:05:25.000 My SOD division, special operations division, is in searching through heavy debris with heavy equipment.
00:05:32.000 They're distributing assets with the Texas game wardens.
00:05:36.000 They're also involved in recovery operations.
00:05:39.000 Also, they're working with DPS special agents on all recovery processes.
00:05:47.000 And with the volunteer fire departments.
00:05:50.000 Our communications is overseeing the communication operation liaison with DPS also.
00:05:55.000 Our emergency management, Thomas, is in the EOC center.
00:05:59.000 Also with my chief, they're both in the EOC center.
00:06:01.000 At this time, I brought a couple of the guys.
00:06:03.000 I was going to let Captain Jason Waldrop say a few words.
00:06:06.000 Jason has been in the field, hands on deck this whole time.
00:06:09.000 I hadn't been able to get out of here a lot.
00:06:11.000 There's a lot to manage here.
00:06:12.000 He's actually witnessed several things.
00:06:14.000 He's kind of going to give you a few ideas and updates on what's going on in the field,
00:06:18.000 where he's been and what he's been seeing.
00:06:21.000 And then we'll turn it over to Sergeant Jack Lamb.
00:06:23.000 Captain Jason Waldrop.
00:06:33.000 So let me kind of give you all an update on some of the things that we as the Share Apartments do.
00:06:38.000 One particular thing that we have done in order to help assist in locating the missing
00:06:44.000 is we have coordinated a team with a local construction company,
00:06:49.000 the Texas Department of Public Safety,
00:06:51.000 some fire departments from within Kerr County,
00:06:54.000 a fire department from Acuna, Mexico.
00:06:57.000 And we are looking in Texas Department of Public Safety,
00:07:01.000 some fire departments from within Kerr County,
00:07:04.000 a fire department from Acuna, Mexico.
00:07:06.000 And we are looking and searching the deeply impacted flood debris along the river, along the river.
00:07:13.000 So these areas are where a lot of this debris is bottlenecked.
00:07:17.000 So it's a lot of large trees.
00:07:18.000 It's a lot of the vehicles.
00:07:20.000 It's a lot of home structures have built up in these areas.
00:07:23.000 So we are using very heavy equipment, excavators, skid loaders,
00:07:27.000 to remove this mineral and do a deep impact search of where this is.
00:07:32.000 So what we ask is for those who are out there working, the local residents, the families of the missing,
00:07:40.000 even some of the search teams.
00:07:42.000 If you see these very large excavators working, please avoid these areas.
00:07:46.000 We are trying to control these work sites.
00:07:48.000 We have spotters on the ground.
00:07:50.000 So as if material is being removed, we have spotters on the ground.
00:07:57.000 So as if material is being removed, we are looking for anything of a sign of a person that may be within this material.
00:08:06.000 There is up and down the river where we can take apart these materials and hopefully locate some more of the missing.
00:08:12.000 So that's one main thing that we've been doing along the river to help this process.
00:08:21.000 Morning.
00:08:22.000 Jonathan Lamb, Kerrville Police Department.
00:08:27.000 We want to remind folks that if you've reported a loved one missing and they've returned home safely or been found safely,
00:08:40.000 it's vitally important that you let us know that that person is no longer among the missing.
00:08:48.000 We need to keep an accurate count as accurate as possible.
00:08:52.000 So if you've reported somebody missing and they've been recovered safely, please let us know.
00:08:59.000 Go to the website kerrvillemissing.dps.texas.gov or call 830-258-1111.
00:09:12.000 We are actively looking, actively working to ensure that we have an accurate count so that we know who to look for.
00:09:33.000 And now I want to talk to the people here in this community inside the city limits of Kerrville, people in Kerr County.
00:09:43.000 A few things.
00:09:44.000 We know that folks are beginning to clean up and we have large debris piles.
00:09:50.000 We ask them not to use heavy equipment to take down those debris piles until they've been checked by a search party.
00:10:01.000 Because it's possible there are victims in that debris pile.
00:10:06.000 We don't want to disturb that.
00:10:08.000 Please give us a call.
00:10:10.000 Our non-emergency numbers at the police department and the sheriff's department.
00:10:14.000 And let us know that you've got a debris pile that needs to be checked before you begin that level of cleanup.
00:10:21.000 Sheriff Letha mentioned the burn ban.
00:10:25.000 That's countywide.
00:10:27.000 We need people to respect that.
00:10:29.000 Do not burn during this time.
00:10:32.000 And we continue to ask people to steer clear of the area and let our first responders work.
00:10:38.000 Again, this operation is ongoing and continuous.
00:10:42.000 Our first responders are trying to get to places to do their jobs.
00:10:47.000 And people coming here from outside the community and people within the community who want to go sightsee and look at the river and see the flood damage.
00:10:55.000 It's making our job very hard.
00:10:57.000 We ask folks to give us room to work.
00:11:04.000 I want to talk a little bit about the events that happened on the morning of July 4th.
00:11:10.000 What the Kerrville Police Department and other first responders were doing in those early morning hours.
00:11:16.000 I don't want to start outside of Kerrville out in hunt.
00:11:22.000 For those of you who went out there yesterday with the governor, you all know that Highway 39 crisscrosses the Guadalupe again and again and again.
00:11:33.000 And all of those low water crossings, when they flood, they create islands where you can't get in and you can't get out.
00:11:42.000 Trapping people in their homes, trapping people in vehicles.
00:11:45.000 And that's what happened on the morning of July 4th.
00:11:48.000 One of our patrol sergeants lives out there in Hunt.
00:11:52.000 And he got up and got ready to go to work.
00:11:54.000 And he realized when he hit the intersection of FM 1340 and Highway 39 that he was trapped on an island that was Hunt, Texas.
00:12:06.000 And he saw people, dozens of people, trapped on roofs.
00:12:10.000 He saw people trapped in swift moving water.
00:12:17.000 He gave them encouragement over his public address system in his vehicle.
00:12:22.000 He told them to be strong, that he would get to them as quickly as he could, and to hang on.
00:12:31.000 And he knew he needed help.
00:12:35.000 He went to another detective, Kerrville Police Department detective who lives out there, and he woke him up and he said, it's bad.
00:12:44.000 I need you to get your gear on and come find me.
00:12:47.000 And then he went back out.
00:12:50.000 And for 13 hours, those two officers, along with some Hunt volunteer fire department firefighters and an emergency room doctor, provided care to that Hunt community.
00:13:10.000 When it was safe to do so, they waded into the water and they rescued people.
00:13:15.000 They brought people down off of roofs.
00:13:17.000 They collected them there at the Hunt School.
00:13:21.000 There was a young boy with a pretty severe leg injury that was given first aid treatment throughout the day.
00:13:29.000 Other people came.
00:13:32.000 Many of them were injured.
00:13:34.000 They provided first aid.
00:13:36.000 They coordinated helicopter evacuations for the most critically injured, communicated the situation back to our emergency dispatch center, Kerrville Police Department.
00:13:48.000 When the waters began to recede, they knew that vehicles would be making their way out there when it was safe to do so.
00:13:54.000 So they went back and forth, clearing out debris to clear a path for those vehicles.
00:14:01.000 They saw helicopters flying back and forth, making recoveries up river, evacuating those summer camps.
00:14:10.000 And they were by themselves on that island that was Hunt, Texas, doing what they do, serving, protecting and helping until about five o'clock in the afternoon.
00:14:25.000 When other emergency workers and high profile vehicles were able to get out there.
00:14:29.000 And here in town.
00:14:32.000 The early morning hours are still dark.
00:14:37.000 Our officers realized.
00:14:39.000 That areas of town that traditionally don't flood.
00:14:43.000 We're going to flood.
00:14:45.000 And that low lying areas close to the river were in danger.
00:14:50.000 Our officers spent hours going back and forth.
00:14:57.000 In that first hour.
00:15:02.000 They evacuated over 100 homes.
00:15:05.000 And evacuated and rescued over 200 people.
00:15:09.000 And to say that doesn't even come close to explaining the actions that took place.
00:15:15.000 Door to door.
00:15:20.000 Door to door.
00:15:21.000 Waking people up.
00:15:22.000 Convincing them that yes.
00:15:26.000 The flood waters are coming and you need to leave now.
00:15:29.000 They rescued people out of vehicles.
00:15:31.000 They rescued people out of homes that were already flooding.
00:15:34.000 Pulling them out of windows.
00:15:38.000 They entered water.
00:15:41.000 There's a trailer park.
00:15:42.000 That flooded in minutes.
00:15:46.000 One officer was there by himself.
00:15:48.000 And he realized.
00:15:49.000 I need help.
00:15:50.000 He sounded a siren.
00:15:52.000 Driving up and down those streets that were beginning to flood.
00:15:55.000 Calling on his PA system.
00:15:57.000 For folks to wake up and evacuate.
00:16:00.000 And then.
00:16:01.000 Two other officers joined him.
00:16:04.000 Through.
00:16:05.000 First thigh deep.
00:16:06.000 Then waist deep.
00:16:07.000 Then chest deep water.
00:16:08.000 As they went from RVs and trailers.
00:16:09.000 And rescued people.
00:16:10.000 Carrying them.
00:16:11.000 Safety.
00:16:12.000 Through the water.
00:16:13.000 Out on old FM 689.
00:16:14.000 There were two people.
00:16:15.000 Trapped.
00:16:16.000 In the water.
00:16:17.000 Clinging to a tree.
00:16:18.000 Two officers were there.
00:16:19.000 When the third one drove up.
00:16:21.000 And one of them was wrapping.
00:16:23.000 hundred foot.
00:16:24.000 Flex line yard hose.
00:16:25.000 Around his waist.
00:16:26.000 To go into the water.
00:16:27.000 And rescue those people.
00:16:29.000 And those three officers went into the water.
00:16:42.000 And one of them held that hose.
00:16:44.000 And acted as an anchor.
00:16:47.000 And the car hid the load.
00:16:49.000 and one of them held that hose and acted as an anchor
00:16:52.260 while those other two made their way to those two victims
00:16:56.700 and they were able to evacuate them safely.
00:17:01.440 Folks, I don't know how many lives our KPD team saved in an hour in Kerrville,
00:17:08.720 but I know that this tragedy, as horrific as it is, could have been so much worse.
00:17:15.300 And finally, I want to tell you about a member of our KPD team.
00:17:22.240 These guys have been working around the clock.
00:17:25.500 Fourth of July, traditionally, is an all-hands-on-deck event for us
00:17:31.580 because we hold an amazing concert on the river.
00:17:36.980 On July 4th, it was an all-hands-on-deck event for a very different reason.
00:17:41.760 But our officers had been working without time off, without any downtime,
00:17:46.820 16, 18, 20-hour shifts, without complaint.
00:17:52.120 Yesterday was the first day we were able to give a couple of them some downtime,
00:17:56.780 so we sent an officer home to rest.
00:18:01.240 But rather than taking a day off, a much well-deserved day off,
00:18:04.580 he got up and he put on his gear and he volunteered to go out on foot
00:18:11.180 with a ground search party.
00:18:13.440 And he spent his day up and down the Guadalupe River
00:18:17.760 going over, under, around trees, searching for victims
00:18:22.340 to try and reunite the missing with their families.
00:18:27.800 I think that is Texans helping Texans in the greatest sense of the word.
00:18:41.120 That's what community is.
00:18:44.280 And that's what's important right now.
00:18:48.760 I want to continue to thank you all for helping us
00:18:51.940 spread the messages that need to be spread.
00:18:55.120 Before I open this up for a very few questions,
00:18:59.580 just ask you to please, I'm sorry,
00:19:04.560 just ask you to please say your name and who you're with
00:19:09.920 before we do that.
00:19:13.220 Yes, right here.
00:19:16.060 Oh, I'm sorry.
00:19:17.240 The mayor is supposed to speak now.
00:19:19.260 I apologize.
00:19:20.540 Mr. Mayor, I'm sorry.
00:19:21.680 Good morning, everyone.
00:19:29.500 As Jonathan Lamb has said,
00:19:31.560 this is a story of tragedy,
00:19:33.900 but it's also a story of heroes.
00:19:38.420 Kevin Walden, thank you for all you've done.
00:19:42.000 Every first responder,
00:19:43.660 thank you for all you have done.
00:19:44.960 The recent numbers reported break my heart.
00:19:51.940 And they break the heart of everyone up here.
00:19:56.020 Everyone who's been working since July the 4th.
00:19:59.780 I want you to know,
00:20:01.560 I think it's important for the public to know.
00:20:03.620 I think it's important for the families to know.
00:20:05.840 In that emergency operations center,
00:20:08.620 there's not little silos of departments and agencies.
00:20:12.180 They're working as one team with one goal,
00:20:17.300 to find the missing and bring them home.
00:20:22.020 I'm grateful for every first responder,
00:20:25.280 every helper in every field.
00:20:27.760 Those who are feeding the hungry,
00:20:30.880 those who are providing shelter to people who have no home,
00:20:34.500 those who are providing clothing,
00:20:36.240 who no longer have a wardrobe.
00:20:40.620 I'm also grateful for the generosity of the world.
00:20:47.040 Two companies that are hometown companies,
00:20:50.180 companies that started in Kerrville, Texas,
00:20:53.120 announced today and yesterday
00:20:54.560 that they will be donating to the relief effort.
00:20:59.020 Everyone in Kerrville is proud of H-E-B
00:21:01.400 and James Avery Artisan Jewelry.
00:21:07.920 Had a different name for so long, I'm sorry.
00:21:10.540 Those two companies started here.
00:21:13.880 Their heart is here.
00:21:19.100 We are committed to helping others.
00:21:24.560 After you all go home
00:21:25.880 or go to the next story,
00:21:28.480 we will still be here.
00:21:31.280 We live here.
00:21:39.300 We've lost friends here.
00:21:42.200 We've lost friends here.
00:21:42.220 If you feel able to donate to the relief fund,
00:21:52.140 the best source we are recommending
00:21:54.240 is the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country.
00:21:58.320 Their website is communityfoundation.net.
00:22:04.400 There's a link at the top of that page
00:22:06.220 to help you donate.
00:22:07.040 Now, listen.
00:22:10.760 I'm married to a retired first grade teacher.
00:22:24.320 Okay, they've...
00:22:25.360 It looks like they've lost audio
00:22:26.760 as soon as we get it back up.
00:22:28.260 There we go.
00:22:28.780 So if you feel the need to yell your questions...
00:22:29.980 Going back to the conference.
00:22:30.780 I will feel the need
00:22:32.360 to not answer your question.
00:22:35.020 In first grade,
00:22:35.920 they raised their hands.
00:22:38.280 That might be a good start.
00:22:40.420 Yesterday was a disaster.
00:22:42.760 And I was embarrassed.
00:22:44.480 Our town was embarrassed.
00:22:46.240 Your viewers were embarrassed.
00:22:50.660 And I don't want that to happen again.
00:22:54.180 I'm going to do something
00:22:55.200 I've been told to do.
00:22:56.580 I'm going to turn it back
00:22:57.920 to Jonathan Lamb
00:22:58.760 to start the question-and-answer period.
00:23:00.680 However,
00:23:01.660 please make my retired
00:23:03.940 first grade teacher wife proud.
00:23:06.680 And raise your hands.
00:23:08.200 Thank you.
00:23:13.100 Okay.
00:23:13.820 Well, once again,
00:23:15.000 just say your name, please,
00:23:16.360 and who you're with.
00:23:17.480 Okay, we get it.
00:23:30.620 There we go.
00:23:31.180 Let's get another feed.
00:23:31.960 Okay.
00:23:32.080 On Friday morning,
00:23:33.620 where an Ingram volunteer
00:23:34.980 fire department commander
00:23:36.680 asked a Kirk County sheriff
00:23:40.080 dispatcher for the code red
00:23:42.660 to be issued.
00:23:44.400 Okay.
00:23:47.480 We're going to try another feed.
00:23:55.580 There's real problems
00:23:56.360 this morning with the feed on this.
00:23:57.760 What happened
00:23:58.600 and what could have happened
00:23:59.940 at that time?
00:24:00.680 Okay.
00:24:01.160 As I've said earlier,
00:24:02.700 with every significant event,
00:24:04.420 you know,
00:24:04.820 we're going,
00:24:05.880 with every emergency,
00:24:07.040 you know,
00:24:07.280 we're going to have to,
00:24:08.880 there's going to be an after action.
00:24:10.500 Please, y'all,
00:24:11.580 listen to those words.
00:24:12.580 After action.
00:24:13.520 Okay.
00:24:14.480 Those questions
00:24:16.020 are going to be answered.
00:24:16.660 I believe those questions
00:24:18.100 need to be answered
00:24:18.940 to the family of the misloved ones,
00:24:20.740 to the public,
00:24:22.100 you know,
00:24:22.360 to the people that put me
00:24:23.220 in this office,
00:24:23.980 those need to be,
00:24:24.660 and I want that answer
00:24:25.640 and we're going to get that answer.
00:24:27.060 And I know that's going
00:24:27.880 to be asked over and over.
00:24:29.420 Please understand that.
00:24:30.680 You know,
00:24:30.900 we don't have,
00:24:31.360 we're not running.
00:24:31.980 We're not going to hide
00:24:32.580 from everything.
00:24:33.020 That's going to be checked
00:24:33.820 into at a later time.
00:24:35.320 I wish I could tell you that time.
00:24:36.720 I don't know that time.
00:24:37.540 Let me share something with y'all.
00:24:39.140 One of the main things
00:24:39.840 I've been doing
00:24:40.440 is going and visiting the family.
00:24:41.980 We still have some of those
00:24:42.940 misloved ones here.
00:24:44.240 I go visit them twice a day.
00:24:46.220 You know,
00:24:46.420 as a sheriff,
00:24:47.220 you know what,
00:24:47.580 what I want is
00:24:48.240 I want closure for those people.
00:24:50.060 Okay.
00:24:50.760 And those are important questions.
00:24:52.980 Those are,
00:24:53.440 we will answer those questions.
00:24:55.080 I wish y'all would bear with me in that.
00:24:57.440 Okay.
00:24:57.900 Bear with me.
00:24:58.580 We'll get them.
00:24:59.400 I can't tell you when a week or two.
00:25:00.960 Okay.
00:25:01.340 We're going to get them.
00:25:02.280 I'm not trying to deflect them.
00:25:03.660 Okay.
00:25:03.880 My primary,
00:25:05.120 I mean,
00:25:05.460 I ask you,
00:25:06.060 I've been in this business 36 years.
00:25:08.100 I don't know if any of y'all,
00:25:09.740 how many of y'all
00:25:10.380 have gave notifications,
00:25:11.860 death notifications.
00:25:12.600 I've done them.
00:25:13.300 What is worse?
00:25:14.040 A death notification
00:25:15.060 or telling somebody
00:25:16.060 I don't know where your loved one was.
00:25:17.820 That's my priority.
00:25:18.940 Okay.
00:25:19.120 Now,
00:25:19.300 please understand that.
00:25:20.840 Sir,
00:25:21.260 since you're up,
00:25:22.040 can I ask you a question?
00:25:23.920 Sergeant Lamb.
00:25:25.540 Sergeant Lamb.
00:25:26.380 Tammy from the Hill Country Community Journal.
00:25:28.680 Yes.
00:25:28.960 We've talked a lot about
00:25:29.920 the recovery effort
00:25:31.420 and it's amazing,
00:25:32.980 but I wonder
00:25:34.300 what we can tell
00:25:35.740 the displaced families.
00:25:37.120 Where do they go?
00:25:38.120 How do they get in touch with FEMA?
00:25:39.780 I think there's a lot of that
00:25:40.920 and we haven't had a chance
00:25:41.940 to discuss it.
00:25:43.060 Right.
00:25:43.380 So,
00:25:43.920 unfortunately,
00:25:44.300 I don't have the FEMA number.
00:25:45.660 I know there is a FEMA hotline
00:25:47.220 specifically for this
00:25:48.640 and I don't have it
00:25:49.540 at my fingertips
00:25:50.220 and I apologize for that.
00:25:51.840 We are pushing out
00:25:53.000 the recovery information
00:25:54.900 through our social media posts.
00:25:58.940 The First United Methodist Church,
00:26:01.300 321 Thompson Drive,
00:26:02.980 is still the shelter operation
00:26:05.580 for displaced persons
00:26:07.020 through this disaster.
00:26:08.560 They are fully equipped
00:26:09.460 and still accepting folks.
00:26:11.440 Sergeant Lamb.
00:26:12.200 Sergeant.
00:26:12.700 Sergeant Lamb.
00:26:13.420 Yes, sir.
00:26:13.960 Lewis,
00:26:14.240 I have a story
00:26:14.620 from the Kerr County League.
00:26:15.980 Sergeant Lamb,
00:26:16.740 yesterday the governor's office
00:26:17.820 said there was 161 missing.
00:26:19.580 Is that a Kerr County number
00:26:21.240 or is that a roll-up number?
00:26:23.060 Where are we at
00:26:24.620 with the number of missing?
00:26:26.420 It's my understanding
00:26:27.460 that the number
00:26:28.760 that the governor referred to
00:26:31.200 was a Kerr County number
00:26:32.940 and, again,
00:26:34.540 I have no reason
00:26:35.620 to doubt that number
00:26:36.520 and it was compiled
00:26:37.320 from the best available information.
00:26:39.500 But we are asking folks
00:26:41.380 to make sure
00:26:42.280 that the numbers
00:26:42.980 that we have
00:26:43.540 are accurate.
00:26:44.240 So if somebody
00:26:45.780 has been reported missing
00:26:47.020 and they have
00:26:47.740 now been accounted for,
00:26:49.600 please let us know that
00:26:50.920 so we can revise
00:26:52.340 those numbers
00:26:53.080 and make sure
00:26:54.000 that they continue
00:26:54.740 to be accurate.
00:26:55.620 Yes, ma'am.
00:26:56.020 Thank you.
00:26:57.460 Thank you, Juanita,
00:26:58.600 with Telemundo NBC.
00:27:00.220 Yesterday,
00:27:00.900 Governor Abbott said
00:27:01.780 that two days prior
00:27:02.980 to the disaster,
00:27:04.040 he had provided resources
00:27:05.580 and they were here
00:27:06.840 on ground.
00:27:08.020 I know this is a question
00:27:08.800 for the mayor,
00:27:09.900 but he said
00:27:10.840 you guys were prepared
00:27:12.100 that you had
00:27:13.000 those essentials.
00:27:15.060 What happened?
00:27:15.960 Did you guys
00:27:16.700 have those resources?
00:27:18.460 Yeah, listen,
00:27:19.200 I'm going to just say
00:27:20.520 what has already been said.
00:27:22.480 At the appropriate time,
00:27:24.320 all of that is going
00:27:25.940 to be reviewed
00:27:26.800 and checked into.
00:27:28.020 I don't have the answer
00:27:28.920 to that question
00:27:30.340 right now.
00:27:31.420 I don't have
00:27:32.060 that information.
00:27:33.060 And rather than speculate,
00:27:34.560 it would be irresponsible
00:27:35.380 for me to do that.
00:27:36.740 Mayor, could you speak
00:27:38.440 on that?
00:27:39.500 Repeat the question, please.
00:27:40.840 Yesterday,
00:27:41.440 Governor Greg Abbott
00:27:42.360 said two days prior
00:27:44.020 to the disaster,
00:27:44.960 he had provided the town
00:27:46.120 with more than enough
00:27:47.180 resources to respond
00:27:49.100 to the disaster.
00:27:51.140 Were those resources
00:27:52.080 here, locals tell us
00:27:53.320 they didn't see
00:27:54.520 any resources.
00:27:55.280 They didn't see anyone
00:27:55.960 until hours after
00:27:57.460 the disaster.
00:27:58.620 Thank you.
00:27:59.040 What resources
00:27:59.600 did you guys have
00:28:00.460 and why wasn't
00:28:01.640 there any response?
00:28:03.140 Okay.
00:28:03.800 I didn't see
00:28:04.680 the governor's remarks.
00:28:06.260 I haven't seen
00:28:06.780 the governor's remarks.
00:28:07.600 Last night,
00:28:08.060 we had a city council
00:28:08.760 meeting and I was
00:28:10.440 required to be there.
00:28:14.300 And so I can't,
00:28:15.320 I'm sorry,
00:28:15.900 I don't know
00:28:16.480 what resources TDM
00:28:18.840 had in place
00:28:19.580 at that time.
00:28:21.080 I know when I arrived
00:28:22.880 at the emergency
00:28:23.600 operations center
00:28:24.520 on the morning
00:28:25.380 of July 4th,
00:28:26.960 there were TDM
00:28:27.680 personnel there.
00:28:29.840 But what assets
00:28:30.600 they were able
00:28:32.660 to use that morning,
00:28:33.920 I'm sorry,
00:28:34.420 I do not know.
00:28:36.420 Listen,
00:28:37.080 people are yelling
00:28:37.800 and I didn't really
00:28:38.980 want to.
00:28:39.600 If you offer only
00:28:40.360 three questions,
00:28:41.220 then you're going
00:28:41.540 to have to yell.
00:28:41.860 Guess what?
00:28:42.540 You're in curve
00:28:43.080 and we're going
00:28:43.580 to do it my way.
00:28:44.360 I understand that.
00:28:45.140 Morgan Chesky,
00:28:45.900 please.
00:28:46.140 Mr. Mayor,
00:28:47.260 records show
00:28:48.040 that the concept
00:28:49.340 of flood warnings
00:28:50.180 have been discussed
00:28:50.740 at least two dozen
00:28:51.620 times by the county.
00:28:53.200 What's the biggest
00:28:53.640 reason that these
00:28:55.180 systems have not
00:28:56.040 gone into place
00:28:56.580 at this point?
00:28:57.380 You know,
00:28:58.600 Morgan,
00:28:59.020 you and I grew
00:28:59.480 up here.
00:29:01.160 And I wasn't
00:29:03.720 in office during
00:29:04.360 those discussions.
00:29:05.820 And frankly,
00:29:06.520 I'm more focused
00:29:07.300 on the future
00:29:07.920 than the past,
00:29:08.980 as you know.
00:29:10.020 What I can say
00:29:11.280 is the governor,
00:29:13.500 the lieutenant governor,
00:29:14.460 the speaker of the
00:29:15.820 Texas House have
00:29:17.020 all provided us
00:29:18.400 support and they
00:29:19.640 have all said
00:29:20.380 this is a priority
00:29:21.620 for the upcoming
00:29:22.280 special legislative
00:29:23.980 session.
00:29:25.560 As mayor of Curva,
00:29:27.140 as someone who
00:29:28.240 grew up here,
00:29:29.160 I am grateful
00:29:29.780 for their support
00:29:30.580 and I look forward
00:29:31.820 to what they
00:29:33.220 proposed during
00:29:33.760 the special session.
00:29:34.560 My last question
00:29:35.140 will be...
00:29:35.820 Thank you,
00:29:36.500 sir.
00:29:36.740 Shemone,
00:29:37.180 Provost for CNN.
00:29:38.700 The lieutenant
00:29:39.780 governor said
00:29:40.360 that on July 3rd
00:29:41.460 that the county
00:29:42.080 judges and city
00:29:43.580 mayors were
00:29:44.120 invited on a
00:29:44.800 daily call
00:29:45.320 Thursday to
00:29:46.700 discuss weather
00:29:47.620 forecasts.
00:29:48.520 Were you on
00:29:49.200 that call?
00:29:50.740 Were you invited
00:29:51.460 to that call?
00:29:53.360 Do you know
00:29:53.620 if the county
00:29:54.020 judge was also
00:29:55.280 on that call?
00:29:55.840 I can't speak
00:29:56.560 for the county
00:29:57.220 judge.
00:29:57.580 That would be
00:29:57.880 hearsay.
00:29:58.620 And I'm not
00:29:59.220 going to contradict
00:29:59.800 the information
00:30:00.680 you have.
00:30:01.620 But I will tell
00:30:02.340 you, personally,
00:30:03.660 I did not receive
00:30:04.500 a telephone bill.
00:30:05.400 You weren't
00:30:06.140 invited to the
00:30:06.920 call?
00:30:09.440 I did not
00:30:10.220 receive a telephone
00:30:10.760 call.
00:30:10.880 And you were
00:30:11.460 never given
00:30:11.900 any information
00:30:12.640 about what
00:30:13.060 assets were
00:30:13.820 brought into
00:30:14.800 the area.
00:30:16.680 So, I wasn't
00:30:18.120 invited to the
00:30:18.600 call.
00:30:18.960 I'm not trying
00:30:19.400 to deflect,
00:30:20.040 but I don't
00:30:20.820 know why
00:30:21.200 that, why
00:30:21.880 that would
00:30:23.420 happen?
00:30:24.140 Maybe I'm
00:30:24.760 not a local
00:30:25.220 mayor.
00:30:25.600 I can't tell.
00:30:26.600 All right.
00:30:27.300 Thank you,
00:30:27.700 guys.
00:30:27.900 Please, please,
00:30:29.060 please, please.
00:30:29.680 From the
00:30:30.140 people, please.
00:30:31.140 Okay, let me
00:30:32.320 have the only
00:30:35.060 answer.
00:30:35.500 Okay, the only
00:30:35.940 taking a few
00:30:36.460 questions.
00:30:36.840 I don't get
00:30:37.260 that.
00:30:37.900 Jack Posobiec,
00:30:39.420 because you
00:30:39.860 kind of, I
00:30:40.420 think, broke
00:30:40.920 it, made this
00:30:41.680 prominent on
00:30:42.360 a, at least a
00:30:45.000 U.S. basis,
00:30:45.640 probably a global
00:30:46.260 basis.
00:30:46.920 Talk to us
00:30:47.420 about what's
00:30:47.940 happening with
00:30:48.540 people prepared,
00:30:49.520 what happened
00:30:49.880 in Austin, and
00:30:50.700 your observations
00:30:51.620 about, I think,
00:30:52.780 another great
00:30:53.920 press briefing.
00:30:54.660 Yeah, Steve,
00:30:57.440 I mean, this
00:30:57.880 mayor, I'm
00:30:59.960 watching, I'm
00:31:00.380 flabbergasted.
00:31:01.160 I mean, all of
00:31:02.140 these children who
00:31:02.840 died on his
00:31:03.340 watch, and he's
00:31:04.140 up there
00:31:04.580 complaining about
00:31:05.700 the media, he's
00:31:06.520 complaining about
00:31:07.060 having to answer
00:31:07.680 questions.
00:31:08.280 Sir, you're the
00:31:08.860 mayor of this
00:31:09.480 town.
00:31:10.300 Okay, you're the
00:31:10.900 mayor of the
00:31:11.240 town, so you
00:31:11.700 got to find out
00:31:12.280 what happened,
00:31:13.360 and you need to
00:31:14.180 provide answers,
00:31:15.200 not just to the
00:31:16.220 community, but to
00:31:17.260 the parents, to
00:31:18.480 everybody, about
00:31:19.820 what went on
00:31:20.900 here, what broke
00:31:21.700 down.
00:31:22.280 And he's saying
00:31:22.720 he doesn't hear
00:31:23.240 that he didn't
00:31:23.800 know about
00:31:24.400 the conference
00:31:25.580 that the governor
00:31:26.440 was just there
00:31:27.140 yesterday.
00:31:27.840 What do you mean
00:31:28.140 he didn't know
00:31:28.540 about the
00:31:28.860 conference?
00:31:29.240 The governor
00:31:29.580 was just there,
00:31:30.400 and the
00:31:30.840 government talked
00:31:31.540 about having
00:31:32.200 resources on
00:31:33.420 July 2nd.
00:31:34.960 So this is what
00:31:35.420 we're all talking
00:31:36.060 about, Steve, and
00:31:36.620 this is what I've
00:31:36.960 been talking about
00:31:37.540 online.
00:31:38.200 What resources
00:31:39.500 were available on
00:31:40.920 July 2nd, and
00:31:41.900 what was the order
00:31:42.700 that went down on
00:31:43.520 July 2nd, which
00:31:45.100 was two days prior
00:31:47.000 to the flood?
00:31:49.080 So regardless of
00:31:50.220 what acronyms or
00:31:51.240 whatever jargon they
00:31:52.180 want to use, people
00:31:52.640 use jargon to
00:31:53.320 intimidate.
00:31:53.720 They said there
00:31:54.420 was an order
00:31:54.800 that went down
00:31:55.280 July 2nd, and
00:31:56.240 Austin denied it.
00:31:57.320 I want to play
00:31:57.780 the clip.
00:31:58.360 I want to play
00:31:58.840 the clip and
00:31:59.300 have you come
00:31:59.900 in.
00:32:00.080 This is from the
00:32:00.700 fire association.
00:32:02.040 I just don't
00:32:02.740 even have words.
00:32:07.840 Our firefighters
00:32:08.680 are trained for
00:32:09.580 that area.
00:32:10.320 Our firefighters
00:32:10.900 have the
00:32:11.400 equipment, they
00:32:12.000 have the desire,
00:32:12.820 they have the
00:32:13.160 will, they have
00:32:13.580 the power to
00:32:15.020 go up and
00:32:15.460 actually, I know
00:32:16.800 some of those
00:32:17.240 girls could have
00:32:17.760 been survived if
00:32:18.540 we had had the
00:32:19.000 best boat crew the
00:32:20.300 day before on scene.
00:32:21.540 I know it.
00:32:22.060 I know in my
00:32:22.880 heart, I know
00:32:23.320 as a battalion
00:32:24.740 chief, I know
00:32:25.360 it as a former
00:32:26.680 swift water tech
00:32:27.660 myself.
00:32:29.280 And the fact
00:32:29.860 that we didn't
00:32:32.540 do it and we
00:32:33.060 let them down,
00:32:34.020 it's just, it's
00:32:35.620 unconscionable.
00:32:38.160 Jack, how did he
00:32:39.100 know on the
00:32:40.500 second to do
00:32:42.460 this?
00:32:43.060 He's basically
00:32:44.200 implying the
00:32:44.780 forecasts were good
00:32:45.580 enough, he knew
00:32:46.160 something big was
00:32:46.880 coming?
00:32:47.860 Sir?
00:32:48.940 He's saying that
00:32:50.100 on the second,
00:32:50.680 and again, I'm
00:32:51.260 going off of, and
00:32:52.400 this is the Austin
00:32:53.360 Fire Association
00:32:54.560 president off of
00:32:55.880 their press release
00:32:56.800 yesterday and then
00:32:57.760 of course the
00:32:58.260 statement that we
00:32:58.820 just played and
00:32:59.380 there's, I watched
00:33:00.280 the whole thing, it
00:33:00.760 was 30 minutes
00:33:01.300 long and he
00:33:02.160 talked about, went
00:33:03.000 through chapter and
00:33:03.780 verse about how
00:33:05.000 there was a
00:33:05.820 deployment order, a
00:33:06.780 pre-deployment
00:33:07.520 order that came down
00:33:08.600 on the second.
00:33:09.420 Of course, this is
00:33:10.000 based on forecast and
00:33:11.060 based on everything
00:33:11.600 they were looking at
00:33:12.200 in the area.
00:33:12.960 They said, hey, it
00:33:13.500 looks like something
00:33:14.120 might be brewing down
00:33:15.180 in Kerrville.
00:33:15.720 Let's pre-position
00:33:16.980 some boats, let's
00:33:18.300 pre-position some
00:33:19.260 of these rescue
00:33:19.900 swimmers, the
00:33:20.620 swift water
00:33:21.660 swimmers, swift
00:33:22.300 water techs, that
00:33:23.360 train specifically
00:33:24.580 for the hill
00:33:25.360 country.
00:33:25.940 These are world
00:33:26.480 class swimmers out
00:33:27.400 of Austin.
00:33:28.240 And the Austin
00:33:28.960 Fire Department
00:33:30.180 chief, this guy
00:33:32.680 sitting up there
00:33:33.540 denied it and
00:33:34.760 supposedly he said
00:33:35.640 that he was
00:33:36.080 worried about the
00:33:37.000 reimbursements from
00:33:37.860 the state and he
00:33:38.420 said, oh, we're
00:33:39.180 worried about the
00:33:39.780 money and he said,
00:33:40.420 wait, it's all
00:33:40.880 going to be reimbursed,
00:33:41.820 don't worry about
00:33:42.440 it.
00:33:42.760 But the Austin
00:33:43.480 Fire Chief denied
00:33:45.000 the pre-deployment.
00:33:46.980 Then on the third
00:33:47.880 when it was getting
00:33:48.560 worse, they went
00:33:49.640 back again and said,
00:33:50.600 can we pre-deploy
00:33:51.300 at least now?
00:33:52.040 We can see that
00:33:52.580 things are getting
00:33:53.040 worse.
00:33:53.500 He denied it a
00:33:54.260 second time.
00:33:54.880 And then finally,
00:33:55.880 only after the flood
00:33:57.500 struck did they
00:33:58.780 deploy and they
00:33:59.600 didn't deploy the
00:34:00.500 two boats.
00:34:01.100 They only deployed
00:34:01.740 one.
00:34:02.280 They didn't deploy
00:34:02.980 six swimmers.
00:34:03.780 They only deployed
00:34:04.520 three.
00:34:05.120 So you could have
00:34:05.700 had two boats and
00:34:06.700 three swimmers.
00:34:07.740 And who knows?
00:34:08.720 Who knows what
00:34:09.460 could have been done
00:34:10.100 if those swimmers
00:34:11.040 and I understand
00:34:11.760 and by the way,
00:34:12.400 nothing against the
00:34:13.040 valor of the police
00:34:14.640 officers and the
00:34:16.320 folks who were
00:34:17.020 there, but don't
00:34:17.880 sit there and tell
00:34:18.540 me that you didn't
00:34:19.360 know something was
00:34:20.120 going on when this
00:34:21.040 order came down on
00:34:22.500 July 2nd and you
00:34:24.100 denied it, sir.
00:34:25.420 So this fire chief
00:34:26.460 up in Austin denied
00:34:27.900 this pre-deployment.
00:34:28.720 So something was
00:34:29.640 going down.
00:34:30.580 Somebody knew
00:34:31.300 something was
00:34:31.820 happening on July
00:34:32.740 2nd and they're all
00:34:33.820 sitting there saying,
00:34:34.440 oh, we didn't know.
00:34:35.240 We wasn't on the call
00:34:36.320 and I didn't hear the
00:34:37.300 briefing.
00:34:37.740 No, stop passing the
00:34:38.760 buck.
00:34:38.960 This guy should
00:34:39.620 resign.
00:34:40.780 As someone who
00:34:42.380 served in the
00:34:42.740 military, Steve, this
00:34:43.520 is a complete
00:34:44.200 abrogation of
00:34:45.160 responsibility and
00:34:46.180 it's disgusting when
00:34:47.000 you have this many
00:34:47.560 dead kids on your
00:34:48.320 hands.
00:34:50.660 The other thing to
00:34:51.600 note is that you
00:34:52.680 got to bifurcate
00:34:53.520 this, what happened
00:34:54.560 in the chain of
00:34:55.120 responsibility, like
00:34:56.200 starting now from
00:34:57.120 the recovery
00:34:58.160 operation.
00:34:59.260 The buried lead
00:35:00.220 in this thing for
00:35:00.700 the last couple of
00:35:01.240 days, the guy said
00:35:02.080 yesterday, there has
00:35:02.780 not been a live
00:35:03.820 rescue, I think
00:35:05.220 since, I thought
00:35:06.420 he said Friday
00:35:06.900 morning, but
00:35:07.440 definitely Friday.
00:35:08.960 The rest of it has
00:35:10.440 been recovery.
00:35:11.320 And recovery is
00:35:11.980 horrible.
00:35:12.460 You got to do it
00:35:13.060 thoroughly and as
00:35:13.720 quickly as possible
00:35:14.500 for the families.
00:35:15.920 But you can
00:35:16.400 bifurcate what's
00:35:17.200 happening here and
00:35:17.840 you can bifurcate the
00:35:18.720 press conference.
00:35:19.340 One part of the
00:35:19.880 press conference should
00:35:20.420 be for the update on
00:35:21.840 the recoveries and
00:35:22.620 where you stand and
00:35:23.420 all the problems in
00:35:24.740 the county and down
00:35:25.820 on the river.
00:35:26.840 The other ought to be
00:35:27.700 taking questions that
00:35:29.420 the media has and
00:35:30.440 people have responsibility
00:35:32.060 to ask, like, what
00:35:33.220 happened here?
00:35:35.120 It's current now.
00:35:36.160 It's in the moment.
00:35:36.780 It's something that
00:35:37.660 would have to be
00:35:38.080 answered, not to
00:35:38.780 wait to some
00:35:39.260 commission in three
00:35:40.540 years from now and
00:35:41.880 hide behind it.
00:35:42.760 So I've got to
00:35:43.660 bounce because we're
00:35:44.380 so jammed.
00:35:44.980 Geneva, we're going
00:35:45.580 to do Geneva
00:35:46.140 tonight.
00:35:46.700 I had people, we
00:35:47.360 had Joe Allen and
00:35:48.980 Norba because of the
00:35:49.880 press conference and
00:35:50.520 others.
00:35:50.980 But Jack, give me two
00:35:52.200 minutes on your
00:35:53.100 solution because you
00:35:54.560 know the deep state as
00:35:55.540 well as anybody.
00:35:56.120 Your solution on the
00:35:58.060 Epstein situation.
00:35:59.320 Now, since you went in
00:36:00.340 for the first, what do
00:36:01.020 you call it, the
00:36:01.460 bologna file or the
00:36:04.040 bologna burger they gave
00:36:05.400 you over the way, the
00:36:06.400 bologna binder.
00:36:07.340 What is your
00:36:08.000 recommendation today?
00:36:09.100 Very, very, very fine
00:36:10.760 binder full of bologna.
00:36:11.240 You and D.C.
00:36:11.880 Drano are up in the
00:36:12.800 middle of this thing.
00:36:13.480 What's your guy's
00:36:14.060 recommendation?
00:36:14.660 What has to happen
00:36:15.560 today, sir?
00:36:17.500 Look, here's the issue,
00:36:19.440 all right?
00:36:19.720 And I'll be fair.
00:36:20.700 I'll be fair, but I'm
00:36:21.600 going to be blunt.
00:36:22.560 The idea that we've got
00:36:24.400 access or that the DOJ
00:36:26.220 has access to everything
00:36:27.800 and, you know, is, you
00:36:30.780 know, that there's just
00:36:31.400 some list sitting around.
00:36:32.440 I get it, okay?
00:36:33.120 I get that it's not
00:36:33.860 really this fine list and
00:36:35.980 here you go, you can have
00:36:36.920 it.
00:36:37.140 I get how that works,
00:36:38.400 right?
00:36:38.520 I've been in the system.
00:36:39.360 I've been on the other
00:36:39.760 side of that table.
00:36:40.960 But don't sit there and
00:36:41.980 tell me there's nothing
00:36:42.800 when you told me there
00:36:43.640 was something.
00:36:44.500 That's the issue for the
00:36:45.900 AG is you told the entire
00:36:47.960 world there was something.
00:36:49.280 You told us there were
00:36:50.000 files.
00:36:50.640 You told us there were
00:36:51.400 lists.
00:36:51.740 I'm not talking about the
00:36:52.640 kiddie porn, all right?
00:36:53.760 I get that, right?
00:36:54.900 We don't want that
00:36:55.480 release.
00:36:55.900 We don't want to protect
00:36:56.660 those victims.
00:36:58.040 But what we need to do is
00:36:59.680 figure out the
00:37:00.480 investigation.
00:37:01.540 And by the way, when it
00:37:02.400 comes to those victims,
00:37:03.840 were they interviewed?
00:37:04.860 Were the victims
00:37:05.600 interviewed?
00:37:06.460 And did people go
00:37:07.460 through?
00:37:07.960 And I understand it's a
00:37:08.860 process, but that's how
00:37:09.840 this works, right?
00:37:10.480 That's how you
00:37:11.180 investigate these types of
00:37:12.820 operations and these types
00:37:14.060 of crimes is that you do
00:37:15.420 unfortunately have to do
00:37:17.020 it in a careful way and
00:37:17.860 you have specifically
00:37:18.460 trained people who can do
00:37:19.420 this.
00:37:19.760 You bring in the
00:37:20.360 therapist, et cetera, but
00:37:21.620 you need to get the
00:37:22.740 names.
00:37:23.440 And for all of these
00:37:24.200 hundreds of victims,
00:37:25.680 where's the interviews?
00:37:26.820 Then you generate leads.
00:37:28.140 Then you figure out what
00:37:29.160 happens.
00:37:29.560 So don't tell me there's
00:37:30.300 nothing.
00:37:30.560 Don't sit there for
00:37:31.480 and I will tell it like
00:37:33.300 I'm like I'm a joke, like
00:37:34.280 it's a joke that there's
00:37:35.360 nothing.
00:37:35.820 No, it's absolutely not.
00:37:37.200 Put out everything you
00:37:38.100 have.
00:37:38.680 Start going to SDNY right
00:37:40.280 now and start declassifying
00:37:42.380 and unsealing everything
00:37:43.660 that you told us existed
00:37:46.160 and we know exists.
00:37:47.660 You have to you have to
00:37:48.880 file charges a day on the
00:37:50.340 prosecutors that went
00:37:52.580 after a man and also the
00:37:54.000 judge got to be impeached
00:37:55.120 immediately.
00:37:56.220 Appellate courts is no
00:37:57.000 evidence.
00:37:57.380 Lack of evidence.
00:37:58.740 Jack, real quickly, 60
00:38:00.380 seconds.
00:38:01.120 We're in the danger zone on
00:38:02.960 what has happened in the
00:38:03.820 Ukraine.
00:38:04.280 They're coming after
00:38:05.260 Bridge Colby because Bridge
00:38:06.640 Colby was the pivot to
00:38:08.960 Asia guy.
00:38:10.260 The Israeli first guys are
00:38:11.700 coming after him and now
00:38:12.920 the cheerleaders of the
00:38:14.180 Ukraine war because trying
00:38:15.480 to protect America, he
00:38:16.520 said, hey, I think we're
00:38:17.780 running down on Patriot
00:38:18.860 missiles and dads.
00:38:20.700 Give me 60 seconds on the
00:38:22.040 danger of the Ukraine war
00:38:23.500 and us getting sucked in
00:38:24.480 because they're going for
00:38:25.840 Odessa, brother.
00:38:26.820 You know this.
00:38:27.700 You went down there two
00:38:29.240 years ago and warned the
00:38:30.500 world that this is where
00:38:31.500 it's going to be.
00:38:32.100 And I'm telling you they
00:38:33.460 want to suck the United
00:38:34.480 States in to a defense of
00:38:36.620 Odessa, sir.
00:38:39.500 Look, Stephen, I've still
00:38:40.680 got the sand on my desk
00:38:42.520 from Odessa that I that I
00:38:44.260 collected from the beach
00:38:45.460 there.
00:38:46.140 And look, when it when it
00:38:47.280 comes down to it, you know,
00:38:48.420 we live in a real world.
00:38:49.520 We're conservative.
00:38:50.040 So we understand that we
00:38:51.060 live in a world of resource
00:38:52.680 constraints, not unless you
00:38:54.260 talk to the neocons and
00:38:55.280 they say, oh, we can fight
00:38:56.180 a war here.
00:38:56.800 We can fight a war against
00:38:57.640 China.
00:38:58.020 We can fight a war against
00:38:58.780 Iran.
00:38:59.180 We can fight a war against
00:38:59.960 Russia.
00:39:00.300 We can do everything.
00:39:01.060 All of it.
00:39:01.360 No, we live in a real world
00:39:02.560 and you you are the ones
00:39:03.940 the same people, by the way,
00:39:05.420 the Wall Streeters and the
00:39:06.460 GDP firsters.
00:39:07.600 They are the ones who
00:39:08.980 completely sold our
00:39:12.040 manufacturing base out to
00:39:13.220 the Chinese Communist Party.
00:39:14.360 And then they turn around
00:39:15.320 and say, wait, we're all
00:39:16.320 the Patriot missile
00:39:17.000 production went.
00:39:18.240 Why are we down to 25%
00:39:19.600 Patriot missiles, 25% of the
00:39:21.420 air interceptors, the air
00:39:22.380 defense, the that missiles
00:39:23.400 because they don't exist
00:39:24.480 because those networks
00:39:25.500 don't exist anymore
00:39:26.360 because you need the
00:39:27.600 entire infrastructure to be
00:39:29.380 able to run a massive
00:39:30.840 global empire army as
00:39:32.720 imperial military that you
00:39:34.280 want wrapping the entire
00:39:35.300 world around.
00:39:35.860 And we just don't have it
00:39:36.560 anymore.
00:39:37.020 We don't have it because
00:39:37.920 you gave away our
00:39:40.100 manufacturing base to the
00:39:41.300 Chinese.
00:39:42.080 So now when it comes
00:39:42.920 around and it's Bridge
00:39:44.800 Colby saying he's the only
00:39:46.020 one who's just telling the
00:39:47.140 truth.
00:39:47.740 He's the only one telling the
00:39:48.860 truth.
00:39:48.980 So we don't have these
00:39:49.760 interceptors.
00:39:50.480 And if we do give them
00:39:51.420 there, then what are we
00:39:52.360 going to use to protect our
00:39:53.640 bases around the world?
00:39:54.820 And by the way, the
00:39:56.380 homeland, because I think
00:39:57.900 we ought to care about that
00:39:58.880 for a little bit, too.
00:40:00.020 Sorry.
00:40:00.480 This is the real world.
00:40:01.880 And this is the situation
00:40:02.940 we're now in.
00:40:05.040 McConnell's team and the
00:40:06.040 factories, you need
00:40:06.820 workers, you need money,
00:40:07.760 you need all of that.
00:40:08.760 Yeah.
00:40:09.760 We're here to defend him.
00:40:11.120 Jack, real quickly, your
00:40:12.280 Twitter fingers.
00:40:13.100 We don't even make
00:40:13.860 stingers anymore.
00:40:14.520 They got to bring the guys
00:40:15.240 out of retirement.
00:40:15.900 Nobody knows how to make
00:40:18.880 them, sir.
00:40:20.400 Where do you go?
00:40:22.320 I'm fed up today, Steve.
00:40:23.620 I'm fed up today.
00:40:24.340 What can I say?
00:40:24.900 You're fired up, man.
00:40:25.740 I'm looking at this mayor.
00:40:26.800 He's got me hot.
00:40:28.740 No, no.
00:40:29.240 Hobbit.
00:40:30.400 No, Hobbit's a good.
00:40:31.360 Hobbit, man.
00:40:32.680 Oh, you've got to raise
00:40:34.020 your hand.
00:40:34.140 I love Hobbit.
00:40:35.020 I love Hobbit.
00:40:35.520 You've got to be nice.
00:40:36.100 This guy, this guy's like
00:40:37.920 the beta male.
00:40:40.620 Be nice to me, America
00:40:41.880 first grade teacher.
00:40:43.140 I thought this was Texas,
00:40:44.820 by the way.
00:40:45.180 What happened to Texas?
00:40:47.100 Where's tough, tough Texas,
00:40:48.500 man?
00:40:48.900 Don't mess with Texas.
00:40:50.020 Try that in Texas.
00:40:51.040 We're all those.
00:40:51.680 And I'm a Yankee.
00:40:52.940 I thought you guys were
00:40:54.340 supposed to be tough as
00:40:55.240 bootleather ones.
00:40:56.420 Sorry, Texas.
00:40:57.520 If this is the guy who's
00:40:58.440 representing you, you're not
00:40:59.660 being well represented on
00:41:00.800 the national stage right now.
00:41:01.940 Sorry to be blunt, but this
00:41:03.600 is the war room, and that's
00:41:04.380 the truth.
00:41:04.820 I'm up at Jack Posobiec.
00:41:06.120 I'll be there at 2 o'clock,
00:41:07.400 and then Charlie and I have
00:41:08.360 got the Thought Crime Show.
00:41:09.340 We're taping it later tonight,
00:41:10.600 and that'll go up either
00:41:11.420 today or tomorrow.
00:41:12.060 Perfect.
00:41:13.520 And we'll see you at the,
00:41:14.440 let's get the, we'll see you
00:41:15.880 up at the student action
00:41:17.620 summit.
00:41:17.860 And this weekend.
00:41:18.500 This weekend we'll be in
00:41:19.200 Tampa together.
00:41:20.760 Weekend's going to be historic.
00:41:21.880 Thank you, brother.
00:41:23.520 All right.
00:41:23.660 George Papadopoulos, thank you
00:41:25.500 for sticking around.
00:41:26.220 You put up a kind of a cryptic
00:41:27.840 tweet yesterday, then.
00:41:29.540 Brennan and Comey now are under
00:41:31.280 criminal investigation.
00:41:32.660 Walk us through what you were
00:41:33.560 talking about.
00:41:34.520 Explain to the audience what you
00:41:35.740 mean, sir.
00:41:36.300 Yes, Steve, it's great to be
00:41:38.900 with you.
00:41:39.340 Look, I mean, what a historic
00:41:40.320 moment.
00:41:40.920 You have the FBI, former FBI
00:41:43.060 director and the former
00:41:44.200 director of the CIA simultaneously
00:41:46.660 under criminal investigation for
00:41:49.160 what looks to be a criminal
00:41:50.400 conspiracy to defraud the U.S.
00:41:53.000 government, let alone the
00:41:54.760 illegal and the illicit
00:41:56.180 surveillance activities and the
00:41:58.760 interference in the 2016 election.
00:42:01.280 And the attempt to basically
00:42:03.300 initiate a coup against a
00:42:05.240 sitting president.
00:42:06.280 So what that ex post that I
00:42:09.360 posted about was was when I
00:42:11.220 testified, I testified actually
00:42:13.320 under oath to then
00:42:14.400 Congressman John Ratcliffe.
00:42:16.480 Now, of course, he's the
00:42:17.460 director of the CIA at a time
00:42:19.640 when I was one of five
00:42:20.740 witnesses that was invited to
00:42:22.200 the House Oversight Committee
00:42:23.260 to give testimony under oath
00:42:25.340 about what happened involving
00:42:27.460 Crossfire Hurricane, the various
00:42:29.600 targeting of members of the
00:42:31.180 Trump campaign, the Trump
00:42:32.120 administration, President
00:42:33.720 Trump himself.
00:42:35.300 And then, of course, you had
00:42:36.760 the Durham investigation, which
00:42:38.180 basically evolved from that
00:42:40.300 testimony and other
00:42:41.260 testimonies.
00:42:42.160 Now, Durham, as you will feel,
00:42:45.440 as you basically pointed out,
00:42:47.340 was a cover up job.
00:42:48.960 If it wasn't for people like
00:42:50.460 Congressman Matt Gaetz that
00:42:52.320 basically hammered away at
00:42:54.060 Durham's testimony, asking him
00:42:55.800 pointed questions about why he
00:42:57.800 didn't dig deep into the
00:42:59.020 basically the origins of the
00:43:02.160 scandal, besides saying that
00:43:04.160 it didn't start the way that
00:43:05.340 Mueller did, I don't think we
00:43:07.300 would have had much to go on.
00:43:09.640 But fortunately now, you have
00:43:11.920 people like Cash Patel at the
00:43:13.540 FBI, you have Ratcliffe, who's
00:43:15.540 at the CIA, and they're once
00:43:17.560 again digging into this stuff,
00:43:19.040 Steve, because when they weren't
00:43:21.020 punished for doing it in 2016,
00:43:22.820 what happened in 2020?
00:43:24.520 The CIA willfully interfered in
00:43:27.080 the 2020 election, and they
00:43:28.800 stole it.
00:43:29.780 We can't let them get away with
00:43:31.260 it, and that's why this is so
00:43:32.840 important and why I think this is
00:43:34.860 going to be history-making, and
00:43:36.720 it's really going to usher in
00:43:38.500 tremendous momentum for MAGA
00:43:40.640 going into the midterms.
00:43:43.540 Let me, give me that again.
00:43:45.320 Why do you think this is going to
00:43:46.500 be history-making?
00:43:47.360 What are you saying going after the
00:43:49.960 perjury charge on Brennan and what
00:43:51.900 they're doing on Comey, that
00:43:53.020 investigation that we now know
00:43:54.600 that the Justice Department and
00:43:57.200 FBI are doing, sir?
00:43:59.720 No, I don't think actually they're
00:44:01.060 looking at any perjury stuff.
00:44:02.540 I think what they're looking at is
00:44:03.560 a criminal conspiracy.
00:44:04.640 I think the statute of
00:44:05.420 limitations on anything perjury
00:44:07.580 related, especially related to
00:44:09.220 Congress, congressional testimony,
00:44:11.200 that's all evaporated.
00:44:13.400 So I think what they're looking at is
00:44:14.520 a conspiracy.
00:44:15.860 And, you know, one thing I'll say,
00:44:17.260 Steve, because, you know, the
00:44:18.520 theme of the week has really been
00:44:19.860 foreign intelligence entanglements
00:44:22.380 with the CIA, with domestic U.S.
00:44:24.600 intelligence, and how they basically
00:44:25.920 coordinate to target individuals or
00:44:29.680 groups for extermination.
00:44:32.320 And I would say that every four years,
00:44:34.740 the most highly anticipated event
00:44:36.780 around the world, it's not the World
00:44:38.440 Cup, it's not the Olympics, it's not
00:44:40.460 the World Series, it's a U.S.
00:44:41.920 presidential campaign season, who,
00:44:44.360 what man or woman ascends to the Oval
00:44:45.980 Office has tremendous ramifications
00:44:48.080 for numerous countries all around
00:44:50.200 the world, not just within the
00:44:51.700 United States.
00:44:52.860 And I think that is what is at the
00:44:54.820 actual core of what this scandal
00:44:57.120 was, Steve.
00:44:58.220 It was a CIA-led operation that
00:45:00.920 involved foreign intelligence,
00:45:02.840 primarily Western intelligence, that
00:45:05.260 then offsets, I should say, buck
00:45:07.300 past this investigation to the FBI.
00:45:10.140 And that's why they're looking at both
00:45:11.740 Brennan and Comey simultaneously.
00:45:14.680 It's not simply Comey, and it's not
00:45:16.360 about Brennan, they're looking at them
00:45:18.300 as part of a conspiracy.
00:45:20.380 They're not looking at perjury, they're
00:45:21.820 not looking at lying under oath stuff.
00:45:24.720 We're far too detached from going after
00:45:27.640 low-level charges like that, especially
00:45:29.580 after the unfortunate fallout from
00:45:32.120 Epstein.
00:45:32.940 Either Bondi, Patel, and Ratcliffe, and
00:45:36.180 the DOJ goes after the massive charges
00:45:38.560 and the big fish, or I think this is
00:45:41.180 going to be a major impediment going
00:45:43.320 into the midterms.
00:45:44.100 If they go after them the way that I do
00:45:46.060 think they will, this is going to be
00:45:47.900 tremendous momentum behind us going
00:45:50.040 into the midterms.
00:45:50.860 And I'm just going to land on this, Steve.
00:45:52.560 We can't forget that it was Mueller's
00:45:55.100 investigation during Trump's first
00:45:57.560 administration that arguably cost us
00:46:00.600 the midterms.
00:46:01.900 With this new investigation, I think it's
00:46:03.820 going to help us win it.
00:46:07.060 George, social media, where do people
00:46:09.240 go?
00:46:10.800 You can find me on X at GeorgePapa19.
00:46:16.160 And dude, what you have been through,
00:46:18.100 probably in the top five of the worst of
00:46:21.160 what they've dragged you through.
00:46:22.200 So you're a warrior.
00:46:23.160 Thank you, brother, for coming on here.
00:46:24.480 Thank you for being in the fight.
00:46:26.900 Appreciate it, brother.
00:46:27.600 Thank you.
00:46:29.240 I'd like the guys on our side of the
00:46:30.580 football, the men and women.
00:46:32.340 This is all in our hands.
00:46:33.600 We will be victorious if we don't quit.
00:46:39.680 Isn't that the lesson that MAG has
00:46:41.320 learned?
00:46:42.460 If we refuse to stop, we'll eventually
00:46:45.220 win.
00:46:46.680 Short commercial break.
00:46:47.780 Back in a moment.
00:46:48.300 We will fight till they're all gone.
00:46:53.280 We rejoice when there's no more.
00:46:55.200 Let's take down the CCP.
00:46:59.300 This July, there is a global summit of
00:47:01.800 BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro, the
00:47:04.360 block of emerging superpowers, including
00:47:06.860 China, Russia, India and Persia, are
00:47:10.060 meeting with the goal of displacing the
00:47:12.260 United States dollar as the global
00:47:14.140 currency.
00:47:15.360 They're calling this the Rio reset.
00:47:18.200 As BRICS nations push forward with
00:47:20.040 their plans, global demand for U.S.
00:47:21.840 dollars will decrease, bringing down the
00:47:23.920 value of the dollar in your savings.
00:47:26.480 While this transition won't not happen
00:47:28.780 overnight, but trust me, it's going to
00:47:31.280 start in Rio.
00:47:32.880 The Rio reset in July marks a pivotal
00:47:35.380 moment when BRICS objectives move
00:47:37.660 decisively from a theoretical possibility
00:47:40.420 towards an inevitable reality.

00:48:27.640 There's something happening with our
00:48:28.840 farmland here in the United States that
00:48:30.800 isn't getting enough attention.
00:48:32.360 The Chinese have been buying up hundreds
00:48:34.880 of thousands of acres of U.S.
00:48:36.920 farmland.
00:48:38.140 They're also taking control over critical
00:48:40.260 supply chains, things like fertilizer,
00:48:42.800 animal feed, and farming equipment.
00:48:44.820 Why?
00:48:45.660 It's not clear.
00:48:47.380 They're tightening their grip on global
00:48:49.180 food production.
00:48:50.840 That is clear.
00:48:52.620 And if things go south and it could happen

00:52:37.800 It's not about the price of gold.
00:52:39.020 It's about the process of how you get to the price,
00:52:41.380 therefore the value.
00:52:43.240 It's been a hedge for 5,000 years of man's recorded history.
00:52:46.240 Why?
00:52:46.620 You ask yourself why.
00:52:47.720 We explain it all to you.

00:52:58.480 Text Bannon,

00:53:01.480 Get the ultimate guide,
00:53:02.780 which happens to be free,
00:53:04.580 to investing in gold and silver in the age of Trump.
00:53:08.020 Not the era.
00:53:08.800 This is the age of Trump.
00:53:11.540 Check it out today.
00:53:13.440 Natalie Dominguez.
00:53:15.420 The $1 million triple lock protection,
00:53:18.720 I can tell you the Warren Posse digs.
00:53:20.680 What do you got for us, ma'am?
00:53:22.860 All right.
00:53:23.620 So I thought that today was actually going to be an update
00:53:26.220 from our prior story that we'd covered.
00:53:28.100 However,
00:53:28.800 this is the second time,
00:53:30.800 at least being covered by mainstream media,
00:53:32.640 that now we've seen someone's house bulldozed due to deed fraud.
00:53:36.120 So the Kelly family in Houston are demanding criminal charges
00:53:38.840 be brought against a man named Jerry Gurley.
00:53:41.080 And the notary who'd been accused of forging all six of these sibling signatures,
00:53:46.180 stealing their family home and leaving their lives in ruin.
00:53:49.740 So back in 2017,
00:53:51.360 six grandchildren inherited their late father and late grandfather's home
00:53:54.860 that had been in the family since the 60s.
00:53:57.360 Two years later,
00:53:58.660 this guy Gurley had actually approached them to buy the home and they had rejected it.
00:54:03.400 He then proceeded to forge their signatures,
00:54:05.600 all six of them,
00:54:06.540 file it with the county,
00:54:07.440 and then went on to sell the home to a third party with the help of a fishy title company.
00:54:13.300 The third party ended up bulldozing the home,
00:54:15.820 destroying decades of family photos,
00:54:18.000 home videos,
00:54:18.820 irreplaceable heirlooms,
00:54:20.180 and the family was just destroyed.
00:54:22.820 So flash forward now,
00:54:24.380 another four years into 2023,
00:54:26.160 the aftermath of that investigation prompted Harris County attorney's office
00:54:31.800 to open an additional investigation into the title company that sold to the third party
00:54:36.480 because they had allegedly,
00:54:38.020 we have to always say allegedly,
00:54:39.820 repeatedly defrauded community members in the Houston area.
00:54:43.960 And then earlier this year,
00:54:45.340 the Kelly family was able to reach a civil settlement with Gurley,
00:54:48.960 in which he was ordered to pay them $200,000.
00:54:52.820 But as of last week,
00:54:53.940 when this report came in,
00:54:55.700 nothing has been paid.
00:54:57.060 And with all this interest and fees,
00:54:58.540 it's now up to almost $300,000.
00:55:01.160 So the family gets their home bulldozed,
00:55:03.480 and then now can't get a single cent back from this guy within the last,
00:55:07.300 what,
00:55:07.540 six months to almost a year.
00:55:09.580 And the crazy part is,
00:55:10.960 this guy allegedly has several other judgments against him in other similar cases.
00:55:15.920 And the family's just stuck there wondering,
00:55:17.880 why is he being held criminally accountable?
00:55:20.180 And I think the attorney,
00:55:21.540 their attorney said it best,
00:55:22.520 this guy should be in jail.
00:55:23.380 You brought up a term though,
00:55:25.540 we brought up a term you need to define.
00:55:27.500 Give me 60 seconds on shady title company,
00:55:30.700 because they're part of the problems too,
00:55:32.080 ma'am,
00:55:32.300 right?
00:55:33.300 No,
00:55:33.680 absolutely.
00:55:34.400 We're seeing this more and more.
00:55:35.520 All these criminals,
00:55:36.720 there are all these back-end syndicates of people,
00:55:39.000 with knowledge of the process.
00:55:40.820 And then they're getting away with it for years.
00:55:42.420 A lawyer recently in New York had been doing this for 10 years,
00:55:45.320 11 properties.
00:55:46.980 Matt Cox,
00:55:47.540 who you guys have had on,
00:55:48.540 former criminal,
00:55:49.300 works with us,
00:55:49.900 public advocate.
00:55:50.920 He started out as a mortgage broker.
00:55:53.100 It's all these people with knowledge of this crime that are leveraging these homeowners.
00:55:58.640 It's very,
00:55:59.080 very sad.
00:55:59.840 So we just say,
00:56:00.600 monitor your property,
00:56:01.360 your information's out there.
00:56:03.140 Make sure you have a team of experts on your side to get through everything before you get to this point,
00:56:07.680 right?
00:56:07.860 Before your house ends up bulldozed because it's been sold to another company.
00:56:11.180 And then you can't get your money back and can't get your house back.
00:56:14.440 It's just,
00:56:15.000 home title lock.
