Transcript

00:00:00.000 The president's announcement came hours after the Wall Street Journal reported on a 2003 birthday
00:00:06.000 letter sent to Epstein bearing the president's name and a drawing of a naked woman. President
00:00:11.580 Trump is reportedly furious about the report. He has denied writing the letter and is threatening
00:00:16.300 to sue the paper. All of this coming amid growing calls from his members of his own
00:00:21.560 base for more transparency around the Epstein case.
00:00:25.580 More than 20 years ago, Donald Trump says it's not true. He says he's suing. Wall Street
00:00:31.100 Journal stands by the story. They do. This story had been rumored for a few days. It was echoing
00:00:36.200 throughout the sort of New York and Beltway media sphere that the journal had something and had
00:00:40.200 something big. And the White House was trying to squash it. And in fact, as the paper chronicles,
00:00:45.840 there was a phone call Tuesday night with President Trump, which he denied it. Trump himself posted on
00:00:51.740 social media that he called editors at the Wall Street Journal and Rupert Murdoch himself to say,
00:00:57.260 don't run this. And in Trump's accounting, Murdoch said he would try to stop it, but then
00:01:02.440 didn't. So that's some of the backstory here. But this is a seemingly a big deal.
00:01:08.420 OK, Murdoch, here's the way it's going to be, brother. You've disrespected Donald J. Trump long
00:01:14.540 enough. OK, he goes to East Palestine and gets the Biden administration. It's a global news event
00:01:21.360 and you don't cover it live. Is there that much happening on Fox News at two in the afternoon
00:01:25.860 that you can't cover him live? He hasn't been on Fox News since he announced for presidency.
00:01:33.020 Let me ask you, any guy that brought peace to the world for four years until a Chinese let off a
00:01:38.480 bioweapon, right? Wouldn't you think to have respect for the audience, you would have him back up here
00:01:44.060 to talk about the geopolitical. What if you had respect for people? Wouldn't you do that?
00:01:49.540 They don't respect you. Read the depositions, the deposition. They have a fear, a loathing and
00:01:55.400 contempt for you. A lot of this. I want to make sure you understand, particularly on Fox.
00:02:00.080 When you're watching Fox, you're not watching Fox. What you're watching is the Murdochs.
00:02:05.460 OK, the Murdochs have Paul Ryan on their board for a reason. That reason is that they are the
00:02:11.300 controlled opposition and they are the uniparty and they're going to put the uniparty people up
00:02:15.240 there. Murdoch and Fox in 16. Let me be blunt. They tried to kneecap Trump with Megyn Kelly at
00:02:20.340 the first debate. OK, and Breitbart, we backed him off with the great Matt Boyle and Tony Lee.
00:02:24.940 We backed him off. They were never that far in our camp. Trust me. Even when the numbers close,
00:02:30.120 Murdoch was never. They were always jiggy about that. Because I've argued for this from the beginning
00:02:33.980 that in that arc of looking at how the deep state has tried to stop Trump and the MAGA movement,
00:02:41.140 you can easily fit in the Epstein situation, right? If you want the full release of documents,
00:02:49.500 the special prosecutor gets it. And here's why. Epstein is a key that picks the lock on so many
00:02:56.000 things, not just individuals, but also institutions, intelligence institutions, foreign governments,
00:03:03.800 and who's work and who is working with him on our intelligence apparatus and in our government.
00:03:08.820 This is why it's a time for choosing now. We have to decide right now and back the president and say,
00:03:14.860 hey, look, all of your great work. You just heard Tom Holman. You're about to hear Kristi Noem
00:03:19.840 of closing the border. How did we get 10 or 11 or 12 or 20 million on Biden's watch? That was
00:03:28.900 absolutely, that was a plan they had. That wasn't random. That has to be investigated and people
00:03:34.240 held accountable like all these other things. This is why the Justice Department is clearly
00:03:38.860 overwhelmed with what they're working on. The FBI is overwhelmed. We only have two guys at the FBI.
00:03:43.880 We have a handful of people at the Justice Department. The special counsel, special prosecutor
00:03:48.260 can take on many projects and add people to it. You have to get to the bottom of how the invasion
00:03:54.020 took place. Why we now have to put up $170 billion in the latest bill to do this.
00:04:02.160 Today, the Justice Department has signaled they're going to try to make their case
00:04:05.460 to a judge to release more material. And as we've been saying all week, amid this firestorm,
00:04:10.900 the Justice Department has several options. Option A, plan A that they've been following is just to
00:04:17.420 say, look, this is over. Nothing else to see here. Clearly, that's not working. So they're going down
00:04:22.180 the menu. Other options are to release information themselves, petition the court, which is what
00:04:26.820 they're going to do to release more information, and even potentially appoint a special prosecutor.
00:04:31.560 But in going to the court, like you said, it is up to a judge whether additional material will be
00:04:37.320 released. And it's unclear what they're going to say to the judge to convince the judge to release
00:04:44.420 the secret of grand jury material. Because what we're talking about here, it's not the entirety
00:04:48.380 of all the evidence the Justice Department has. It is what was produced in those secret of grand
00:04:52.600 jury proceedings. We know that Jeffrey Epstein was, of course, charged, but he was not, he was never
00:04:57.920 prosecuted because he died in prison. But his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, she was actually
00:05:02.740 prosecuted. And we got a lot of information throughout the course of that trial. And subsequently,
00:05:08.300 but there is still some material under seal from the grand jury. And the reason it continues to
00:05:14.240 remain under seal, not only because it's grand jury material, but also their arguments that it needs to
00:05:19.540 remain secretive to protect victims and accusers. So now the Justice Department's challenge is they
00:05:25.740 need to come up with some sort of argument about why it needs to be unsealed. They can't go to the
00:05:29.540 judge and be like, hey, could you help us out of a jam here? I mean, they need to get around
00:05:33.060 really important protections for these victims and accusers. Now, nothing is going to happen
00:05:39.540 immediately. This judge is going to need to consider this, likely let other people who could
00:05:43.720 be impacted by this weigh in. It's really unclear if this is going to be successful. And even if it is,
00:05:49.880 Sarah, if the folks calling for more transparency will be satisfied, because I don't think they're
00:05:54.700 going to forget that the Justice Department has a lot of other evidence, evidence that the Attorney
00:05:58.340 General said that she was reviewing available to release. So this will buy them maybe sometime,
00:06:05.860 but unclear if this is going to be successful in helping them move past this controversy.
00:06:11.080 I'm skeptical.
00:06:12.560 They had this big, you know, Murdoch set this trap for Trump. He set a perfect trap to have the
00:06:17.700 Keebler-El surrounding the Lilliputians, right, to surround him in this thing and to try to take him
00:06:23.840 down. The Murdochs, remember the Murdochs, did I mention they were foreigners? Have I mentioned
00:06:30.140 that yet? The Murdochs have this plan to thwart and stop Trump and they don't care who their
00:06:36.720 instrument is. It could be, it could be DeSantis before the robot, you know, rusted. And now they're
00:06:42.300 going to go to Yunkin or, you know, Tim Scott, you pick it, right?
00:06:45.360 There's no one who hates Trump more than the Murdochs. I got fired in April of 2023. In May of 2023,
00:06:50.560 they asked me to run for president against Trump and said they would back me. Obviously I'm not
00:06:56.100 running for any, you know, I would never get elected. Plus I like Trump. I mean, that's the
00:07:00.920 funny thing is I actually genuinely, you know, I get frustrated. I'm frustrated now.
00:07:04.540 So hold on. I'm sorry. You just said that. And people buy, I mean, they asked you to run for
00:07:09.860 president against Trump, the Murdochs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Lachlan Murdoch said you should run for
00:07:13.980 president. We'll back you. The whole thing, the whole. The whole Fox News apparatus. And not just Fox,
00:07:18.060 but you know, Wall Street Journal. All of their papers, everything. Absolutely. Yeah. We'll
00:07:21.680 back you. And that came right from. You should do that. I was already gone. They'd already
00:07:24.460 canceled my show. I was still under contract, but they canceled my show. You should run. We
00:07:27.760 support you. You should run. We want to stop Trump. Yeah. Yeah. Well, he was running.
00:07:34.040 Welcome. It's Friday, 18 July, the year of our Lord, 2025. We're so jammed with news today. And
00:07:40.020 my co-host, Natalie Winters, who will be doing the bulk of the show a little bit later, is with
00:07:46.140 me. Jack Posobiec's with me. So I have preached this gospel for a long time. And last night we saw
00:07:51.580 it in all its ugliness. The Murdochs hate Trump. The Murdochs want to take down Trump. And this is
00:07:57.060 why on this Epstein and everything, including the rest of the going at the deep state, we have to be
00:08:02.120 on offense all the time. Last night they put up a phony letter, which I understand from senior sources
00:08:09.000 working with President Trump, they never even showed the letter. They don't even know if they have the
00:08:13.500 letter. They may be doing the letter from something that people told them about. President
00:08:17.840 Trump had discussions with senior people at the Wall Street Journal, which is always the instrument
00:08:23.620 they're going to take out MAGA and to take out Trump, right? The sharpest tool that they've got.
00:08:28.160 They used the New York Post as more of a populist entity. And of course, Fox News is for rhinos.
00:08:34.780 But the Wall Street Journal is the neoliberal neocon sharp end of the stick that they come after
00:08:40.720 Trump. And last night, they tried to actually destroy him with what looks like a phony and
00:08:45.640 fake letter. President Trump has put him on blast, put Murdoch on blast, particularly as I have long
00:08:52.480 recommended. Those clips right there are over a number of years. And who had the stones, the stamps
00:08:59.500 of Murdochs? Most of these guys are still sucking up to Fox and sucking up to the Wall Street Journal.
00:09:04.800 Quite frankly, the Murdochs concocted something last night and thought it'd be a kill shot on
00:09:12.400 President Trump. And lo and behold, it's the exact opposite because President Trump is now on
00:09:17.680 offense of what we said should be done. The Attorney General should go to the judge
00:09:22.020 and release not just grand jury, but ask him to unveil all of the evidence, all of the sealed
00:09:28.720 evidence. They should petition it to release all the sealed evidence, right? And then there's much
00:09:33.680 more they can do, but start with that. I got Natalie, Jack Posobiec. Poso, you've taken a lot
00:09:39.420 of grief. Oh, you know, we don't have Trump's back. In fact, we made the recommendations that
00:09:45.920 are the best for President Trump in this movement, which is President Trump is best when it's attack,
00:09:51.760 attack, attack. This is the deep state. This is the ruling class in America. They're trying to use
00:09:56.920 it to destroy President Trump. And last night, I think he understood of the Wall Street Journal,
00:10:01.440 as much as he's tried to do in the big, beautiful bill and these other things that get supply side
00:10:07.100 tax cuts, as much as he's tried to do, it's never enough because he has a populist nationalist movement
00:10:13.180 and they hate. And this is old man Murdoch who made the decision to come after President Trump.
00:10:18.620 And I understand the lawsuit that they're putting together is going to be absolutely incredible.
00:10:22.940 And you saw President Trump in True Social this morning. He can't wait to get Rupert Murdoch
00:10:29.180 on the stand. Murdoch squirmed out of having to do the Dominion thing because of the emails that
00:10:38.100 Rupert Murdoch said, we're going to make Trump a non-person, a non-person, but he ain't going to
00:10:43.220 get away from Trump this time. Poso, where are we in all this, sir?
00:10:46.760 Steve, I'll tell you where we are. We're so back. Look, everyone is firing on all cylinders.
00:10:56.260 The MAGA movement is completely united behind this fight right now. And, you know, when I look at some
00:11:03.680 of this, heard about this story coming out earlier in the day yesterday and spoke with a number of
00:11:10.140 high-level contacts as well. I know you did. I said, wait a minute, what do they have? And I said,
00:11:15.240 and I kept getting back, they don't have anything. They have a story about a thing. And I said, well,
00:11:20.160 where do they get this? And then it comes out that it's this letter that nobody's actually seen. I
00:11:24.100 said, wait a minute. So what is your source if you don't actually have the letter? And I'm starting
00:11:30.820 to think, Steve, I'm starting to think, I put this up on Twitter last night, that the source has
00:11:36.020 something to do with former elements of the Department of Justice. I tweeted out last night that it sounds
00:11:43.220 like their source might be Ghislaine Maxwell over some prison phone or something like this
00:11:47.500 because they don't have the letter. The White House asked for the letter. They wouldn't produce
00:11:51.540 the letter. They wouldn't show this thing. They don't know where this is coming from. They've got
00:11:55.940 a source. They claim it's Ghislaine Maxwell, maybe. I don't know. Then you've got the great Susan
00:12:00.580 Crabtree. She sends me a message. She's got it up now as well over at Real Clear Politics saying that
00:12:06.100 the author of this report at the Wall Street Journal is a former member of the Department
00:12:14.760 of Justice who was directly tied to who? Glenn Simpson, the founder of Fusion GPS. And we know
00:12:23.720 that Fusion GPS, the Steele dossier, this also came up through the Wall Street Journal through so
00:12:30.100 many of these sources, through many of the same channels. So I would love to see that if there
00:12:36.820 is this lawsuit, if it does go forward, and I certainly hope that it does, I want to see the
00:12:41.220 names. I want to see this connection. So the individual's name here, Joe Palazzo. Joe Palazzo
00:12:48.440 is someone we need to look at. Listen to this. Joined the Wall Street Journal in 2010 from trade
00:12:53.700 publication, Maine Justice, where he covered the U.S. Justice Department. Huh. Huh. He was, so he was
00:13:02.980 over at the U.S. Justice Department prior to all of this. And, you know, it's, it's really, really
00:13:11.200 interesting. The Maine Justice was Glenn Simpson's wife's publication. Simpson founded Fusion GPS. So
00:13:17.320 there's a lot of connections. Very, very strange connections here, Steve.
00:13:20.580 Fusion, Natalie's going to be with us. She's going to come in right after the break. Uh, this thing
00:13:25.360 stinks to high heaven. Fusion GPS is about as dirty a political operative as you can possibly get.
00:13:31.400 This all goes back to them. It turns out they never showed the letter to President Trump. He's
00:13:35.680 got them on blast. They're going to put the Wall Street Journal. They're going to drop a suit on the
00:13:40.060 Wall Street Journal and on Murdoch personally. My understanding is President Trump tried to engage
00:13:45.160 with the senior levels and say, hey, show us what you got before you publish something. No, but they,
00:13:49.360 and they've been rumored this, oh, this is going to be a thing so big. It was a dud,
00:13:53.640 a complete dud. I mean, anybody think Trump talks like that or writes like that? It's absurd.
00:13:59.260 Uh, and, and, and they don't have any proof. This thing is a complete debacle, but it showed their
00:14:05.720 hands. This is why we advocated from the beginning, Jack, be on offense, be on offense, be on offense.
00:14:13.000 They're trying to set a million traps and there are more traps out there. The best way to get around
00:14:16.800 these traps is go on offense, attack, attack, attack. That's the mode that Trump's best in.
00:14:23.580 And it's the Murdochs that are coming after you because they're the heads of the, uh, of the
00:14:28.120 ruling class. They're the media arm, the propaganda arm for the ruling class. They're out there in Sun
00:14:32.400 Valley at the Billionaires Conference with all these tech billionaires and all the tech bros
00:14:37.900 plotting. And more President Trump does for them, the more they want to destroy him.
00:14:43.620 We're going to take a short commercial break. We're going to return. Natalie Winters is actually
00:14:47.840 co-host today, riding shotgun for the first part. She's going to take over. Eduardo Bolsonaro is going
00:14:53.060 to join us. They're going after his father after President Trump supports him in Brazil. Short break.
00:14:58.640 Back in a moment.
00:15:00.040 This July, there is a global summit of BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro. The block of emerging superpowers,
00:15:06.580 including China, Russia, India, and Persia, are meeting with the goal of displacing the United
00:15:13.100 States dollar as the global currency. They're calling this the Rio reset. As BRICS nations push
00:15:20.140 forward with their plans, global demand for U.S. dollars will decrease, bringing down the value of the
00:15:25.000 dollar in your savings. While this transition won't not happen overnight, but trust me, it's going to
00:15:31.840 start in Rio. The Rio reset in July marks a pivotal moment when BRICS objectives move decisively from a
00:15:39.640 theoretical possibility towards an inevitable reality. Learn if diversifying your savings into

00:16:23.640 Text Bannon at 989898 and do it today.
00:16:27.840 Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:16:32.300 The Brazilian government has cracked down hard, essentially, worse than house arrests on President Bolsonaro
00:16:39.780 with a brutal kind of suppression or repression today. Eduardo's going to join us here in a little while.
00:16:46.860 And this is a part of it is about Bolsonaro. The other part is about the BRICS nations. This is why now more than ever, you got to get to speed on this.
00:16:55.360 Go to birchgold.com slash Bannon. End of the dollar empire. We're working on the eighth reinstallment.
00:17:00.360 You get seven. But understand gold versus the dollar, right? If you understand gold versus the dollar, you'll understand not just the price today,
00:17:08.880 but where the price is headed and where the value in gold is as a hedge.
00:17:12.900 Make sure you do it and talk to the Philip Patrick team, but do that today.
00:17:15.680 This thing with the BRICS nations is about to heat up, and President Trump's just not going to sit there
00:17:21.620 and have these guys essentially put Bolsonaro in prison while he's on trial, which is what they're doing.
00:17:26.920 Natalie Winters is hosting today. I wasn't supposed to be here. I had some things to do this morning,
00:17:32.600 but jumping in here because of the fiasco last night with the Murdochs.
00:17:37.680 Natalie, you're out of hair and makeup. Are we ready for the close-up, ma'am?
00:17:41.060 Are we ready?
00:17:42.580 I think you take longer to get ready than I do, but I digress.
00:17:50.360 Hold it. Are you saying I have more product? I use more product in my hair?
00:17:54.040 I think so. Yeah, that's more credible than the Wall Street Journal story.
00:18:00.760 Well, let's talk about that. You and I have been hammering these people for a long time.
00:18:04.980 Talk to me about where does this story come from and to know the shoddy nature of how they dealt with President Trump.
00:18:11.460 This is the most upsetting thing. Not only does it look like where are the sources of this, where's actually this letter,
00:18:17.220 where's this picture, where's all this that they allege.
00:18:21.340 Also, the cast of characters in the back of it, ma'am.
00:18:26.120 Sure. Well, it's not journalism, right? It's information warfare.
00:18:29.280 I think that's pretty clear, the lack of sources, the outlet that it's coming from.
00:18:34.060 And I think if you trace it back sort of what Jack was alluding to, right, the links to Fusion GPS,
00:18:39.000 the Steele dossier, what was sort of the, I would say, Achilles heel of that whole information laundering operation?
00:18:45.460 Besides the fact, obviously, that all the information was fake, but it was that they put it through BuzzFeed, right?
00:18:50.120 No one cared about BuzzFeed. They thought it was a joke of a publication, but they put it through BuzzFeed because they were willing to publish it because they had such low editorial standards.
00:18:58.180 So I think there's sort of an interesting correction, right, from the deep state's efforts to sort of attack President Trump.
00:19:03.700 So now they're going with a more reputable outlet, right, laundering it through the Wall Street Journal.
00:19:08.400 But as Jack was alluding to, it's still the same characters with these ties, these vestiges,
00:19:13.620 to really the same apparatus that isn't explicitly democratic.
00:19:17.320 And frankly, it's not even explicitly domestic.
00:19:19.460 I think it represents more of the global elite.
00:19:22.480 But to add on to what Jack was saying, this reporter, right, it's a dual bylined author.
00:19:27.440 So the individual, the man who was on this, the guy by the name of Joe, he actually was part of the Wall Street Journal leading to the reporting
00:19:35.540 that actually led to the first trial of President Trump, the one relating to Stormy Daniels and the payments.
00:19:42.140 And don't just take my word for it.
00:19:44.040 The New York Magazine and a host of other sort of legacy media outlets did glowing profiles on this guy.
00:19:50.160 He actually earned the Pulitzer Prize for these contributions, saying that he, quote,
00:19:55.000 helped set in motion the first criminal prosecution of a sitting president.
00:19:59.320 And his findings were actually included and, if not, really constituted the backbone of a lot of D.A. Bragg's case against President Trump.
00:20:08.860 So, sure, maybe you just want to call this guy a partisan hack.
00:20:11.680 But I think the critique of him is sort of more acute than that, right, in that he is a hatchet man designed part of that apparatus to come after President Trump, weaponize information.
00:20:22.200 But, Steve, I also think it's worth noting, too, taking a step back, that this is sort of an effort to make the whole Epstein saga now about President Trump and a stupid birthday card
00:20:31.180 and sort of, you know, meme-ify it into a silly picture.
00:20:34.300 This is about the intel agencies, foreign and domestic, and that's what we need to be focusing on.
00:20:38.440 And that's what I think Pam Bondi's unsealing of a lot of these transcripts, the grand jury stuff, that's a good start.
00:20:44.780 But we need to go in that direction and not let this get reduced into some sort of tabloid-esque story that they're trying to make it out to be.
00:20:52.080 Natalie, they – and I'll get Jack in here on the same question.
00:20:59.040 The lack of respect they have for the MAGA movement and for the MAGA information warfare department is shown in the selection of these authors and writers.
00:21:10.360 They're not even hiding it.
00:21:11.460 I mean, and this is why I said the other day down in Tampa, we have to go after the deep state.
00:21:16.460 If we don't take it apart on President Trump's watch, no matter if this watch ends with this term or he has another,
00:21:21.960 if we don't take it down on President Trump's watch, it will envelop us.
00:21:26.180 It's over.
00:21:26.920 This is our shot.
00:21:28.240 And you saw right there how brazen they are to pull people in institutions.
00:21:33.460 And the Wall Street Journal is supposed to be so revered.
00:21:36.500 I mean, this was a political, operative, deep state intelligence services hit job using the Wall Street Journal as its platform, was it not, ma'am?
00:21:48.040 Well, obviously.
00:21:49.080 I mean, look at the selective standards in terms of publishing, whether it was the Hunter Biden hard drive, the origins of COVID, right?
00:21:55.200 I think everything with a legacy media, it's not necessarily just straight-up lies, right?
00:21:59.440 It's lies of omission.
00:22:01.200 And timing is everything.
00:22:02.400 But, Steve, I think the concerning point, and it's why we've been calling for sort of a special prosecutor,
00:22:07.400 a special counsel investigation into a lot of this stuff, is that I think the fact that the Trump administration
00:22:12.640 is sort of misdiagnosing the importance of the Epstein files, to me, suggests that they don't understand the core issue
00:22:19.380 as to why his base is so galvanized over it.
00:22:21.980 And it's because it gets to the heart of the issue, right, which is who runs this country.
00:22:25.900 And I think you're sort of seeing a, shall we say, softening or whitewashing of a lot of these core issues.
00:22:31.400 I mean, take, for example, the immigration front, right?
00:22:34.520 I'm not even talking amnesty.
00:22:36.360 But when you see this being reframed to strategic deportations or just focusing on the criminals, that misses the forest for the trees.
00:22:43.260 People are animated about the immigration issue because of cultural factors and wanting to preserve their country.
00:22:48.360 It's not merely a function of criminality and economic statistics.
00:22:52.060 That's part of it.
00:22:53.360 So that's why I think this is concerning on both ends, right?
00:22:56.060 The deep state isn't softening up.
00:22:57.520 They're not taking this as, oh, look, the Trump administration, they don't want to, you know, dive into the Epstein files.
00:23:02.540 Let's just move on.
00:23:03.720 How sick is that, that they're now weaponizing this against him?
00:23:06.100 And the Trump administration is just putting out posts saying, oh, it's a hoax.
00:23:09.700 Let's move on.
00:23:10.360 The reason why we know the other hoaxes that he called out are hoaxes are because we actually had the information released to prove that.
00:23:17.120 And a lot of that information is the information that we are now using on this show currently to disprove these current allegations because they're all coming from the Russia hoax, the Fusion GPS hoax, the Steele dossier, the Hillary Clinton ties.
00:23:29.020 So this is why we're advocating for transparency.
00:23:31.720 So, yes, I blame the Wall Street Journal.
00:23:33.940 This is obviously a bogus story, but I think it's not a ridiculous assertion to sit here and say that the Trump administration needs to get their act together and release these documents, release the relevant information.
00:23:45.100 It's what his base wants, not because we're crazy, but because we understand who rules this country.
00:23:50.240 And by the way, President Trump, if you don't just look at how they're coming after you in the Wall Street Journal this morning or last night, rather.
00:23:56.220 Yeah, look at everything President Trump's done, the supply side tax cut, all of it, the issues this week on the Genius Act.
00:24:04.920 It's never enough.
00:24:06.340 They're trying to story.
00:24:07.080 Jack, Natalie's hit the core point of it.
00:24:09.380 This is why we called for a special prosecutor for everything, for it to go back to Crossfire Hurricane, to the bogus leak of the dossier, the Steele dossier, all of it, because it's all of a piece.
00:24:23.520 This is how they're coming after Trump to destroy him and the MAGA movement, sir.
00:24:29.220 Steve, when you look at the links directly tying these operatives, the Steele dossier, Crossfire Hurricane, the hoax, it seems as though some of the statements, if you go back and look at what President Trump was talking about, it actually looks like this is what he was referring to all along.
00:24:46.980 Because you can see the direct, here we are less than 12 hours after this thing dropped and boom, direct link to Fusion GPS, direct link to the Steele dossier.
00:24:56.400 This stuff gets purported.
00:24:58.060 And of course, when we have information, we've got files, documents, you know, all of it, the media says, oh, don't look at that.
00:25:05.980 Don't look at all that stuff.
00:25:07.660 Forget about that.
00:25:08.520 But they've got a source of a source of a source when they can't even provide what they have because they don't have the goods.
00:25:15.980 All of a sudden, that gets full billing.
00:25:18.140 But even the Democrats yesterday, I got to say, they were running around and they couldn't answer the question.
00:25:23.420 Why didn't you release any of this stuff when you had full control of the government for four years?
00:25:30.480 If President Trump was implicated in any of these files, and I've said this throughout, I said this for years, if he was implicated in these files, why did you sit on it?
00:25:39.580 Why wouldn't Merrick Garland release it?
00:25:41.480 You wouldn't have needed a Fusion GPS.
00:25:44.100 You wouldn't have needed this phony story about Russians and Moscow Tower and all the rest.
00:25:50.660 You wouldn't have needed any of that if there was some direct, lefarious link to the Epstein files.
00:25:56.100 No, you also certainly wouldn't need of Merrick Garland and these four trumped-up, ridiculous cases all throughout the country in 2023 and 2024.
00:26:06.680 And by the way, I'll even go a step further.
00:26:09.020 You got Douglas.
00:26:09.840 I thought this was a meme.
00:26:10.740 I just saw this.
00:26:11.360 Douglas Murray is up there in the New York Post last night.
00:26:14.820 He's got a thing.
00:26:15.740 Posts 11.45 p.m.
00:26:17.520 It says, how many voters really care about Jeffrey Epstein?
00:26:22.520 How many voters really care about Jeffrey Epstein?
00:26:25.320 This is an actual guy in the New York Post from Douglas Murray.
00:26:30.000 Have you ever been there?
00:26:31.560 Have you ever been to Epstein Island, Douglas?
00:26:34.500 I mean, this is ridiculous.
00:26:36.080 It's so—and they're treating you like fools.
00:26:38.900 They're treating the American people like fools.
00:26:41.440 They're treating the MAGA movement like fools.
00:26:43.380 And let me tell you something.
00:26:44.600 MAGA hat stays on, all right?
00:26:47.140 The MAGA hat stays on.
00:26:48.740 The MAGA hat is fully on.
00:26:50.480 We're locked in.
00:26:51.740 We're focused.
00:26:52.600 And we'll see.
00:26:53.420 We'll see, guys.
00:26:54.300 Give us your best shot because we ain't going anywhere.
00:26:56.680 I want to—when we come back, I want to talk about continuing on offense.
00:27:02.220 What President Trump is talking about is a massive civil suit against Murdoch's in the Wall Street Journal.
00:27:10.120 This is why we need a special prosecutor.
00:27:11.620 We need to ramp this up to criminal.
00:27:13.800 We need to see all the interconnections here and what they did.
00:27:17.500 First off, the letter looks like it's completely made up because nobody's seen it.
00:27:21.460 But even when made up, it's irrelevant.
00:27:23.860 They're just trying to stir the pot here.
00:27:25.960 And this is what happens when you don't stay on offense.
00:27:29.140 President Trump and the MAGA movement is best on offense.
00:27:33.160 And all those that said, hey, let's move along, let's move along.
00:27:35.800 No.
00:27:36.440 This is a centerpiece of the deep state trying to destroy Trump, going to destroy Trump, and going to destroy the MAGA movement.
00:27:45.260 This is what I said in Tampa the other day.
00:27:47.660 You got to do it.
00:27:48.460 You got to do it now.
00:27:49.420 And look, it's going to be unpleasant.
00:27:50.920 But big deal, we've gone through enough, we've gone through unpleasant stuff before, but you have to attack, attack, attack.
00:27:58.200 And now we need the apparatus for criminal charges and criminal investigations.
00:28:02.660 Civil is fine, but civil is not going to do it.
00:28:05.580 Okay, short commercial break.
00:28:06.580 Take your phone out.

00:28:15.760 Particularly what's going on in Brazil right now, folks.
00:28:17.920 Let's look at it.
00:28:19.000 This is the BRICS nations rising up and trying to thwart the U.S. dollar.
00:28:24.260 Short break.
00:28:24.740 Back in a moment.
00:28:25.240 You missed the IRS tax deadline.
00:28:30.460 You think it's just going to go away.
00:28:31.820 Well, think again.

00:29:47.160 Here's your host, Stephen K.
00:29:50.620 Band.
00:29:55.120 Okay, welcome back.
00:29:56.620 Jack, I want to talk about staying on offense here and what needs to be done because it's great that Pam Bondi and the attorney general is going to go petition the court to release the grand jury testimony.
00:30:09.240 Also, I think simultaneously, you've got to look to unveil all the evidence that's under seal to unseal it.
00:30:18.440 But there's much more to do here.
00:30:19.920 What is your recommendation?
00:30:20.680 Look, I think a lot of this comes down to a guy who's already on board with the AG's office over there at the Department of Justice, Ed Martin.
00:30:32.460 You got Ed Martin over there.
00:30:34.220 He was the one who was looking at pardons.
00:30:36.000 Why not appoint Ed Martin to run a task force into Epstein, find out everything that was going on, find out everything that was there, find out everything that is releasable, protect the victims, of course, but then go after anything that they've got out, whether it's grand jury that needs to be petitioned.
00:30:55.600 Okay, you go and make that petition.
00:30:57.240 Then if you've got information, if you've got interviews, if you've got videos, boom, make it out.
00:31:01.640 Ed Martin, I think the man for the job is already there.
00:31:06.000 Yeah, Thune's got to bring Judge Deneen for a vote like ASAP.
00:31:11.780 She came out of committee yesterday for confirmation on that fiasco they had with Emil Bovey, and boy, I would love to have Emil Bovey.
00:31:18.600 I understand they're teeing him up for the Supreme Court, but man, we need Emil Bovey right now.
00:31:23.260 But Judge Deneen, Thune's got to call the Senate together and vote on her like Monday or Tuesday or over the weekend.
00:31:29.000 Don't go home.
00:31:29.700 Vote on her immediately.
00:31:30.960 We need Judge Deneen.
00:31:32.260 You need Ed Martin.
00:31:33.100 And I know – and for all the people sitting there going, oh, he's not thinking about special requirements, there are people arguing against that.
00:31:38.320 I understand that.
00:31:39.480 And people that are very smart inside the administration and close to President Trump, but there are also other people arguing for it.
00:31:45.860 And I think our arguments far outweigh the negatives.
00:31:50.040 Jack, also other means of staying on offense.
00:31:53.200 Right now the MAGA movement has got to come together.
00:31:55.620 For all those people who said just nothing to see here, they're going to use everything they can to destroy Trump on every element.
00:32:02.580 And this is why it's got to be raised up to the level of a criminal investigation, not just civil.
00:32:07.320 President Trump is going to go after them civilly.
00:32:09.900 He's already beaten ABC.
00:32:11.480 He's already beaten CBS.
00:32:12.820 Steve Colbert got canceled last night, right?
00:32:15.520 So you're winning many things, but a civil suit against the Murdox is fine, a civil suit against Fox.
00:32:21.100 But we need to go – we need to raise this up to a criminal level.
00:32:23.960 Do we not, sir?
00:32:26.340 Look, that's what's so great about starting it this way.
00:32:29.460 You have someone go in there that you can trust, that has the president's back.
00:32:34.560 That guy is Ed Martin.
00:32:36.280 Ed Martin gets results.
00:32:38.420 That's why they were so terrified of him at the U.S. attorney's office.
00:32:41.300 And then when he's pursuing all of this and he finds information and said, wait a minute, hold on.
00:32:47.060 You pull this thread a little bit more, it raises to the level of criminal, then boom.
00:32:52.200 Now you've got your probable cause.
00:32:53.900 Now you've got your suspects.
00:32:55.220 Now you've got people that you can go after.
00:32:57.580 Look, follow the evidence where it leads, of course.
00:33:00.480 But obviously we know that there was criminal activity involved with Epstein,
00:33:05.040 and it clearly involved more people than just Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein.
00:33:11.640 And they keep trying to tie President Trump in.
00:33:13.860 And the more they try to tie him into this network, the dumber the story looks.
00:33:20.420 He's the guy who kicked him out of Mar-a-Lago.
00:33:22.840 He's the guy who said, how can I help the investigators?
00:33:25.380 None of the other people, by the way, down there in Palm Beach.
00:33:27.840 It was President Trump back when he was the Mar-a-Lago club owner,
00:33:30.900 when he was in private capacity, said, how can I help with this?
00:33:34.120 So those are the people, by the way, those are the people who don't want this case looked into.
00:33:39.820 They would prefer it be kept quiet.
00:33:41.480 And that's why you've got all the Democrats in the mumble tank.
00:33:44.080 When they ask them about this, you've got Raskin up there, little Jamie Raskin.
00:33:47.920 Oh, well, we were looking at different things in Jaya Powell.
00:33:52.600 No, because Jack Smith and Merrick Garland were probably told, don't go down the Epstein rabbit hole.
00:33:58.620 It also goes right to the intelligence services of both this country and Israel.
00:34:05.000 Let's be blunt about this.
00:34:07.260 That's why all the Israel first guys, the televidential events and all those guys say, they say nothing to see here.
00:34:12.840 Hey, you've got to take this to where it goes, the investigation.
00:34:15.900 Jack, where do people get you through the day?
00:34:17.540 Thank you for changing your schedule to come on.
00:34:19.360 Where do folks get you?
00:34:20.120 Yeah, of course, we'll be up at Human Events daily today at 2 p.m.
00:34:26.540 We're going to be getting into all the latest with this.
00:34:29.600 Obviously, we're also going to be getting into some of the stuff that's going on overseas, this strike in Israel on a Christian church.
00:34:37.120 We've got to figure out what exactly went on there.
00:34:39.680 We know the president called Bibi Netanyahu, got him to put out this statement yesterday.
00:34:43.860 But Cardinal Pizzaballa, who's someone that we've talked about for several months here on Human Events, we went over to Rome with coverage of that and coverage of the conclave.
00:34:54.380 He's been very, very emphatic on this strike, on this Catholic church right there in Gaza trying to figure out exactly what went wrong.
00:35:03.300 Three people were killed in this thing.
00:35:06.600 President Trump, very, very upset.
00:35:08.080 The Catholic church, very upset.
00:35:09.260 Pope Leo as well coming out on it.
00:35:10.800 By the way, who's upset, too, is Huckabee, the ambassador.
00:35:14.780 I think he sent a letter about, hey, we don't feel your slow-walking visas for the evangelical Christians to go over there.
00:35:22.000 We've got the story up of Huckabee saying they're not allowing Christian visas, visas for Christian groups.
00:35:25.180 Times of Israel has it out, and Huckabee wrote a letter to the entire Israeli government saying we're going to declare you hostile to Christians if you don't fix this.
00:35:34.880 This is not Fuentes.
00:35:36.000 This is the Times of Israel reporting that Huckabee's furious about the evangelical groups who are some of the biggest supporters of Israel not getting visas to go over and do their annual trips to show support.
00:35:46.300 So, Jack, we'll see you at 2 o'clock on Human Events Daily.
00:35:49.620 Thank you, sir.
00:35:51.060 We'll be there.
00:35:51.720 Natalie, I've got a punch you're going to take.
00:35:56.720 We've got Eduardo Bolsonaro.
00:35:57.920 You're going to jump on that.
00:35:58.920 A major development down there in Brazil.
00:36:02.040 Natalie, before I let you go, though, staying on offense, you've advocated this from the beginning.
00:36:06.680 You've been one of the stalwarts.
00:36:08.580 Tell me, where do you think we would go from here?
00:36:10.180 What are the next couple of days would you like to see out of the administration as far as staying on offense against the Murdochs, Wall Street Journal, Fox News, also the intelligence apparatus, everything that's come to destroy President Trump, ma'am?
00:36:26.440 I think I want the names of people who are stonewalling this information, whether they're politicals or careers.
00:36:35.540 If now Team Trump is on board with what I think the war room has been saying, that we need to get this information out there, then I'm sure there's going to be pushback.
00:36:44.600 Like we said, from careers, as you know, we only control, what, maybe 0.01 percent of the DOJ, certainly probably less than that.
00:36:52.380 But I think that we need to, you know, fight fire with fire.
00:36:55.700 I'm sorry, Joe Biden destroyed this country.
00:36:58.380 If they were able to orchestrate an invasion of tens of millions of people, tank the economy, force people to get experimental vaccines, like, I'm not asking you to concoct documents.
00:37:08.580 I'm not asking you to bring fake charges like they did against you or Jan Sixers.
00:37:13.440 I'm just asking for transparency on documents that apparently the DOJ is well aware of, right, the birthday, you know, book that they compiled.
00:37:23.620 I want to read the Wall Street Journal, quote, pages from the Leatherbound album assembled before Epstein was first arrested in 2006 are among the documents examined by Justice Department officials who investigated the two of them years ago.
00:37:35.100 It's unclear if any of the pages are part of the recent review.
00:37:37.480 This is the kind of stuff that we should be making public, right?
00:37:42.000 I'm sorry, I thought the DOJ had nothing related to Epstein.
00:37:45.700 Well, the story sort of contradicts that.
00:37:47.780 So why don't we release it?
00:37:49.160 It's maddening, honestly, Steve.
00:37:51.960 I'm not going to be gaslit by people who spent years, years, basically rested their careers on the idea that there is a deep state.
00:38:00.560 Now, not just tell us that, oh, you know, you should just move on, but that there's nothing to release.
00:38:07.040 I'm sorry.
00:38:07.520 I was told by the AG just about a month ago that she had a whole stack of papers on her desk.
00:38:12.540 So I think we need to figure out who is responsible for this bungled messaging, because to me it reeks of someone covering up for someone.
00:38:19.660 But I think there's blame on both sides, and anyone who's not willing to call that out, you're a cultist, you're not an ideologically driven MAGA war room posse member.
00:38:29.020 And like you said, it goes to the intelligence angle, it goes to Israel and all of the Israel first crowd that doesn't want to admit that.
00:38:36.220 You're just making our point when you suddenly take the legacy media's, you know, hook, line, and sinker.
00:38:41.780 Oh, there's nothing to see here.
00:38:42.840 We need to move on.
00:38:43.500 You're anti-Semitic if you want to ask about what Epstein was doing on behalf of foreign countries.
00:38:48.020 Probably wasn't just Israel.
00:38:49.440 But there's a lot of gaslighting going on here.
00:38:51.440 And where there is smoke, there's fire.
00:38:53.200 Where there's the deep state infusion GPS, there's fire, too.
00:38:56.340 So let's just release it all and put it to rest.
00:39:01.220 Natalie G. Winters, you have the deck in the con.
00:39:03.380 Edouardo Bolsonaro is up for you.
00:39:05.140 Horrible news out of Brazil today.
00:39:06.820 I'll turn to you.
00:39:07.360 I will be back for the 5 and 6 o'clock show.
00:39:10.780 I've got some things I've got working on right now.
00:39:13.440 Natalie G. Winters, the deck in the con is yours.
00:39:16.100 See you tonight at 5 o'clock, ma'am.
00:39:20.000 Thank you, sir.
00:39:21.480 Speaking of the deep state and how we mobilize against it, how they mobilize against us,
00:39:26.840 we obviously know this fight is international.
00:39:28.620 And I don't think any country or man that is, of course, Eduardo Bolsonaro of Brazil has been more so on the front lines of that fight.
00:39:36.060 Honored to be joined by his son, Eduardo Bolsonaro, with the breaking news that the Brazilian police,
00:39:42.060 I think it's the request of the rogue Supreme Court, raided your father's home political headquarters,
00:39:49.120 ordered him to wear an ankle tag, also barring him from speaking to foreign officials,
00:39:55.260 talking to embassies and posting on social media, of course, amidst the ongoing tariff dispute between our two countries.
00:40:01.420 We've got a few minutes.
00:40:02.560 Can you just sort of give the audience an update, the latest with what is going on with your father?
00:40:06.500 Yes, everything that you are talking coming right after President Trump sent a letter for my father, for President Jair Bolsonaro.
00:40:16.840 So what Alexandre de Moraes is doing is what we can expect from him, that he is doubling down again.
00:40:24.480 He always does that.
00:40:26.060 And only to make sure that everybody here is on the same page.
00:40:29.960 My father, he fought, he accomplished all of Alexandre de Moraes' orders, even if he was thinking that they were illegal orders.
00:40:41.280 So there is no reason to travel then, Jair Bolsonaro sees his passport or now.
00:40:48.960 What he is doing is basically an humiliation, and he is challenging President Trump in front of everybody.
00:40:56.880 The good aspect of that is because he is showing that he is the dictator, which I'm always saying that Lula is a problem.
00:41:04.060 Lula is a criminal, is a gangster, but Alexandre de Moraes is jumping in front of everybody and getting all this in, all the attention to him doing that.
00:41:15.080 And that's why Jair Bolsonaro cannot use his social media.
00:41:18.860 Just because yesterday he did a video thanking President Trump about the letter that Trump sent to him.
00:41:24.820 Why he has to now use an ankle tag.
00:41:30.720 Why all of that?
00:41:31.960 Because this is the persecution that we are facing in Brazil.
00:41:35.300 And I'm always telling my friends from the other countries in Latin America, from Europe, from the U.S., this is what they want to your country.
00:41:43.320 Brazil is just establishing a new model of censorship in social media.
00:41:51.740 Two weeks ago, our Supreme Court, they decided a new way to do censorship, and they are going to export that to the rest of the world.
00:42:00.200 So it's very, very urgent that the United States, the country of the freedom, the home of the brave, to send an answer for this regime, to not let the Brazilian censorship model or the Brazilian lawfare model to be exported to other countries.
00:42:17.900 Because I know that if Morais win this war, this battle, I don't think he will.
00:42:23.760 But if he wins, it's going to be a mess, not only in Brazil, but for sure in other countries around in the West.
00:42:32.320 And Eduardo, I'm just curious.
00:42:33.600 Do you think the reason that they're doing this is because your father, his movement, the sort of global populist movement, is so much on the ascent that the only option they have is to try to silence him?
00:42:43.580 Sure, yes.
00:42:45.640 My father is leading all the polls, and if the election was today, he likely would beat Lula da Silva, the current president, even in the first round.
00:42:54.600 And for sure he's only suffering this persecution because of this.
00:42:58.300 Even the Supreme Court, Alexandre de Moraes let clear for everybody that he wants to convict, to condemn, Jair Bolsonaro to up 43 years in jail is still this year.
00:43:11.500 Because next year is the election of Brazil, is the year of the election.
00:43:16.040 And he already talked with some press, saying that they would never let the mistake that the United States committed, letting Trump run for president, they will not allow this thing to happen in Brazil.
00:43:30.020 So they are speeding up as fast as possible to convict Bolsonaro.
00:43:32.320 And Eduardo, we've got to jump to break.
00:43:33.600 If you can just hang with us for a few more minutes, I'm sure the audience wants to know how they can help, what they can post.
00:43:40.460 Warren Posse will be right back after this short break.
00:43:42.620 Mike, Ben, we've got a packed show coming up.
00:43:44.220 What if he had the brightest mind in the war room, delivering critical financial research every month?
00:43:54.260 Steve Bannon here.
00:43:55.320 War Room listeners know Jim Rickards.
00:43:56.980 I love this guy.
00:43:58.080 He's our wise man, a former CIA, Pentagon and White House advisor with an unmatched grasp of geopolitics and capital markets.
00:44:06.080 Jim predicted Trump's Electoral College victory exactly 312 to 226.
00:44:11.640 Down to the actual number itself.
00:44:15.100 Now he's issuing a dire warning about April 11th, a moment that could define Trump's presidency in your financial future.
00:44:23.060 His latest book, Money GPT, exposes how AI is setting the stage for financial chaos.
00:44:29.180 Bank runs at lightning speeds, algorithm driven crashes and even threats to national security.
00:44:34.520 Right now, War Room members get a free copy of Money GPT when they sign up for Strategic Intelligence.
00:44:41.300 This is Jim's flagship financial newsletter, Strategic Intelligence.
00:44:46.100 I read it.
00:44:47.200 You should read it.
00:44:48.280 Time is running out.
00:44:49.120 Go to RickardsWarRoom.com.
00:44:50.980 That's all one word, Rickards War Room, Rickards with an S.
00:44:54.320 Go now and claim your free book.
00:44:56.760 That's RickardsWarRoom.com.
00:44:59.160 Do it today.
00:44:59.900 Here's your host, Stephen K.
00:45:03.320 Band.
00:45:08.000 Welcome back to the War Room.
00:45:10.000 We still got Eduardo Bolsonaro joining us.
00:45:12.200 Eduardo, I'm sure you've got a bounce, but just leave our audience with sort of a final message,
00:45:18.040 a warning from you, your family, and your father, what the MAGA movement,
00:45:22.520 which certainly has received a lot of the same arrows you guys have, should take from this,
00:45:27.020 and more importantly, how they can help if we can post on social media and try to circumvent
00:45:31.580 Judge Moraes.
00:45:34.580 Yes.
00:45:34.920 Only following what is happening in Brazil is good for you to prevent future problems
00:45:38.960 and future kind of lawfares and censorship that you can face in the United States.
00:45:43.100 But we are really alerting everybody, because the only hope that we have is coming from President
00:45:49.760 Trump and his team, including Secretary Rubio and some others, to fight back against this
00:45:59.040 lawfare in Brazil.
00:46:00.320 They want to sweep the opposition from the next year's election.
00:46:03.880 It does not include only Jair Bolsonaro, who is leading the polls nowadays.
00:46:07.900 So we really needed to answer to do a response, and the time for that is right now, because
00:46:14.380 in the future, diplomatic actions like sanctions will not work.
00:46:19.480 In the future, that will be the consolidation of this current regime of Brazil that's really
00:46:24.880 going following the Venezuela steps.
00:46:27.500 So do not let something that happen.
00:46:29.480 And also, it will be a problem for the United States, because if 25 percent of the Brazilians
00:46:36.020 leave the country, just like what happened with Venezuela, we are talking about 50 million
00:46:41.300 people leaving Brazil.
00:46:43.100 And we really do not want that.
00:46:45.120 So I appreciate all your support.
00:46:46.980 If you can follow me, I'm tweeting in English a lot right now, mainly on Max.
00:46:52.260 So Bolsonaro SP is my account.
00:46:54.740 And God bless Brazil.
00:46:55.940 God bless America.
00:46:56.780 Thank you so much for joining us, our prayers are with your father.
00:47:01.640 We look forward to having you on soon.
00:47:04.120 Thank you.
00:47:06.380 Of course.
00:47:07.620 That's why we need you guys in the fight.
00:47:09.340 That's why you've got to be checking out Tax Network USA.
00:47:11.440 We love the team over there.
00:47:12.480 That's TNUSA.com slash Bannon, or you can call 1-800-958-1000 for a free consultation.
00:47:20.700 Speak to the team.
00:47:22.500 I think one of the other, shall we say, overlapping or convergent issues that we share with Brazil
00:47:28.160 is, of course, the complete and utter domination of infiltration by the Chinese Communist Party.
00:47:35.020 To that point, I want to bring on Isaac Stonefish, really, I think, a concerning story talking about how a lot of DOD technological apparatus,
00:47:45.240 their systems, which are operating Microsoft systems at that, no conspiracies, no coincidences there,
00:47:50.880 but are actually being run, not administered, by people in China.
00:47:56.520 It's a ProPublica investigation, but I wanted to bring you on to sort of walk us through this bombshell story.
00:48:04.020 Stunning journalism.
00:48:05.460 And basically, five, ten years ago, it was the norm for U.S. companies to subcontract, especially ten years ago,
00:48:13.580 subcontract sensitive work and sensitive technologies to China.
00:48:17.380 And Microsoft reportedly did that, and they just haven't cleaned it up since then.
00:48:22.700 And so what we are facing now is a situation where Microsoft still has pretty high levels of China exposure
00:48:31.080 and appears to be sharing sensitive U.S. personnel secrets with the Chinese Communist Party.
00:48:39.580 And just walk us through how, I mean, we know it's commonplace that a lot of these companies,
00:48:45.320 but how does this get through in terms of DOD contracting, you know, military work,
00:48:50.780 perhaps involving, you know, classified, top secret, secret information that I don't even,
00:48:57.320 that seems like a non-starter.
00:48:59.540 It should be.
00:49:00.920 And hopefully it will be moving forward.
00:49:03.520 But the DOD, like many large bureaucracies, often works very slowly.
00:49:07.540 And so it seems in the story that the DOD had no idea of what this was.
00:49:14.780 And the spokesperson was saying, hey, I've never heard of this program.
00:49:18.760 I couldn't find information on it.
00:49:19.880 What's going on here?
00:49:20.500 And so there's so many nooks and crannies in a bureaucracy of that size.
00:49:24.720 And so they let this happen.
00:49:27.560 And really, I hope this is a wake-up call.
00:49:29.560 And there's been so many wake-up calls.
00:49:31.060 But the U.S. government, U.S. companies need constant wake-up calls about the risks of subcontracting
00:49:39.380 or exposing sensitive technologies to the Chinese Communist Party.
00:49:44.120 Well, there's a lot of layers to this, too.
00:49:46.220 I think if you sort of invoke the H-1B STEM debate, I think it was about just last week
00:49:50.280 that it was reported that Microsoft had applied for sort of a new overwhelming tranche of H-1B
00:49:55.080 visas just before letting go of a lot of American-born engineers.
00:49:59.240 So it's interesting to me that they're outsourcing to, I don't know, only our largest sworn adversary,
00:50:04.040 the Chinese Communist Party, DOD work.
00:50:06.340 But is this something that America has the technological infrastructure to facilitate?
00:50:11.160 I mean, I would think there's no real necessity to need to be outsourcing this to our enemy.
00:50:17.340 It's a question of cost.
00:50:19.100 And I think Microsoft and so many companies just say, hey, I can do this in China.
00:50:24.000 I can do this in India.
00:50:24.740 It's a lot cheaper.
00:50:25.780 India is far less of a security threat than China is.
00:50:29.240 And what it was is, you know, these companies were, in some cases, still living in the 2010s
00:50:35.740 where U.S. policy from Republicans and Democrats, especially early in the decade, was, hey,
00:50:42.300 let's partner with China and let's strengthen the Chinese Communist Party.
00:50:45.080 But the world has changed drastically since then, and companies really need to catch up.
00:50:50.200 And, Isaac, I want to hold you through the break because I want to pivot to this sort of new idea
00:50:56.260 that the reason why we need to give even more IP in the form of, you know, semiconductors of these NVIDIA AI chips to China
00:51:03.240 is how we're going to somehow stay dominant in the tech space while the same tech bros are also telling us
00:51:08.640 that the only way we can defeat China is by prevailing over them.
00:51:12.600 In the AI space, can you just sort of, we've got about a minute, bring our audience up to speed on where we sort of stand
00:51:19.700 with this AI chip debate, the sort of export list, the entity restrictions on exporting these to China?
00:51:26.680 NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang was in China this week receiving rock star treatment from Chinese fans
00:51:33.840 of the Chinese Communist Party, and he has successfully convinced the Trump administration
00:51:38.240 that strengthening Chinese AI companies and the Chinese Communist Party by selling chips to China
00:51:45.520 allows for American companies to be the victor.
00:51:51.020 And so that's the argument, and that's what David Sachs and others have said.
00:51:54.300 Frankly, I don't understand it, but that's one side of the debate.
00:51:59.180 They are such clowns, Isaac.
00:52:00.740 If you can hang with us through the break, we're going to unpack that.
00:52:04.700 Like I've always said, the same people who are saying the only way we can surpass the Chinese Communist Party
00:52:09.960 is by having an edge in technology and AI while simultaneously lobbying you to want to import even more H-1B visa workers,
00:52:17.540 by which the second country that receives the highest number of them is China,
00:52:21.500 a country that essentially acts like a company, a state-owned industry,
00:52:25.420 where they can basically requisition any individual company to advance the interests of said Chinese Communist Party
00:52:32.380 for any reason whatsoever.
00:52:34.140 Probably not the best approach to national security,
00:52:37.060 and I certainly won't be lectured by people like David Sachs
00:52:39.820 and that clownish, freakish, beta male, weird podcast that they put out
00:52:45.180 that is truly awful to watch.
00:52:49.060 Not for censorship, but that one I might maybe take off air.
00:52:52.960 We'll be right back.
00:52:53.980 We're going to dive into that some more after this short break.
00:52:56.580 We'll be right back.
