00:00:00.000 This is the primal scream of a dying regime.
00:00:07.320 Pray for our enemies, because we're going medieval on these people.
00:00:12.560 I got a free shot at all these networks lying about the people.
00:00:16.820 The people have had a belly full of it.
00:00:18.760 I know you don't like hearing that.
00:00:20.180 I know you try to do everything in the world to stop that,
00:00:21.920 but you're not going to stop it.
00:00:22.860 It's going to happen.
00:00:24.120 And where do people like that go to share the big lie?
00:00:27.520 Mega Media.
00:00:28.440 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:00:34.360 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:00:38.060 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:00:44.480 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K. Bannon.
00:00:51.540 Okay, welcome back.
00:00:52.740 Saturday, 16 August, Year of Alert 2025.
00:00:55.380 Jim Rickards, the middle of the night, we're going to let you go,
00:01:00.080 because it's two wee hours of the morning.
00:01:02.560 Just your thoughts.
00:01:03.620 By the way, Rickards War Room is the landing page we got.
00:01:06.480 RickardsWarRoom.com is the landing page.
00:01:08.960 You get strategic intelligence, which is a must-read.
00:01:11.860 It's a C-suite read for chairman and CEOs all throughout the world.
00:01:16.580 Gives you the inside baseball and capital markets, intelligence, geopolitics,
00:01:20.220 and the markets, particularly the equity markets.
00:01:23.900 So go check it out today.
00:01:26.100 Get informed like the leaders of these corporations and governments throughout the world.
00:01:31.060 Also, he throws in a free book, Money GPT, where he warned you.
00:01:34.380 He warned you about AI and fiat currency.
00:01:36.800 Make sure you learn the lesson.
00:01:39.580 Jim Rickards, the middle of the night.
00:01:41.020 Just give me—okay, Zelensky's coming on Monday afternoon.
00:01:44.380 Of course, Real America's Voice, we're going to cover it all wall-to-wall live like we did yesterday.
00:01:49.380 He's already put out a list of demands.
00:01:51.220 In fact, if we can put that up in media, it's done a pretty good summary of it.
00:01:54.480 A list of demands.
00:01:55.440 Your thoughts about the Monday meeting, Jim, before you punch out.
00:01:59.520 Sure.
00:01:59.980 Steve, I said it was easy to know what Putin was going to say in Alaska
00:02:02.900 because he's been saying the same thing for four years.
00:02:04.700 It's easy to know what Zelensky's going to say on Monday
00:02:07.200 because he's been saying the same thing for four years.
00:02:09.400 He's going to want more troops, more money, more weapons, and security guarantees.
00:02:14.000 He should get none of the above.
00:02:16.100 And by the way, one of the dangers, there is pending legislation,
00:02:19.040 of course, in the Senate side, Lindsey Graham, Tom Cotner behind it,
00:02:22.220 and there's a lot of support in the House for exactly that,
00:02:24.940 for at least more money and more weapons for Ukraine.
00:02:28.120 I hope that gets shot down, but it's too early to say.
00:02:31.060 There's a good chance that we'll just keep the war going.
00:02:33.700 Hold on, hang on, hang on.
00:02:36.480 Mikkowski's driving that.
00:02:37.540 It's $38 billion, folks.
00:02:39.780 Trump's trying to downsize.
00:02:41.140 It's $38 billion for more aid, more arms, and more financial support, Jim.
00:02:46.460 And yes, you're right.
00:02:47.200 It's making progress because there's a lot of globalists,
00:02:49.840 and the donors are all globalists.
00:02:51.180 So that's making progress.
00:02:52.200 We're going to have to fight that one too, sir.
00:02:54.580 Steve, I watched this very carefully.
00:02:56.560 To me, the most powerful image that came out of Alaska,
00:02:59.180 Putin went to the grave sites of some Russian pilots who were buried in Alaska.
00:03:03.700 By the way, I spent a lot of time in Alaska.
00:03:05.320 Americans don't know that during World War II,
00:03:07.320 we provided a lot of aircraft to Russia through Alaska.
00:03:11.100 They were basically P-38s.
00:03:12.160 We gave them a paint job, and they flew them over.
00:03:13.580 As a result, there are some crashes and some deceased Russian pilots in Alaska.
00:03:18.680 Putin went to the grave, and he got on his knees.
00:03:22.120 He laid a wreath, and he stood up and made the sign of the cross.
00:03:25.740 Now, read Tolstoy, read Socialists, and watch that clip from Putin.
00:03:30.560 It's about 10 seconds long.
00:03:32.280 It tells you all you need to know.
00:03:33.440 Russia is a deeply religious country, and for the so-called experts like Fiona Hill
00:03:38.040 and the secularists who don't understand that, they'll never understand Russia.
00:03:44.240 Jim of Rickards.
00:03:45.320 Go to RickardsWarRoom.com.
00:03:46.860 It's the landing page.
00:03:47.780 You get strategic intelligence.
00:03:49.460 Sir, I thank you so much for staying up in the middle of the night
00:03:52.160 to join us here on Saturday morning in the Imperial Capitol.
00:03:55.740 We look forward to seeing you early next week after Zelensky's visit.
00:03:59.180 So thank you so much.
00:04:01.500 Incredible.
00:04:02.780 And he nailed it right there at the end.
00:04:04.320 He stuck the landing.
00:04:05.140 Jack Posobiec, somebody gave us a heads-up on this beforehand was Jack Posobiec to say,
00:04:11.620 hey, watch Putin.
00:04:12.780 He's going to do something symbolic that reinforces the Christian faith
00:04:17.040 and reinforces that we were allies.
00:04:19.320 Remember, the mainstream media yesterday mocked the first four or five minutes of his speech, Jack,
00:04:23.440 where he talked about World War II, what we commemorated throughout the day
00:04:27.960 on the 80th anniversary of the surrender of Imperial Japan.
00:04:32.060 Putin started his first four or five minutes, and today in all the assessments,
00:04:35.680 they're mocking that.
00:04:36.460 Oh, he talked about World War II.
00:04:38.040 He didn't talk about things that are current.
00:04:39.680 These people are evil.
00:04:41.700 They are evil, and they do not want the Russian people and the American people to come together
00:04:47.660 and work together like we did in the Second World War to destroy, basically, the fascists
00:04:53.960 and the imperialists and all their collaborators, which are all the leaders, all the nations of
00:04:59.040 NATO and all their leaders in NATO back in the 1940s.
00:05:02.320 Where were they?
00:05:03.380 Here's where they were.
00:05:04.220 They were either side-by-side with the Italians and the Germans, or they were collaborators
00:05:09.880 like in Norway and Ireland and other places.
00:05:12.620 Jack Posobiec, you were there, brother.
00:05:15.140 Take us through the day.
00:05:17.420 Well, Steve, that's exactly right, and it didn't surprise me at all,
00:05:20.340 and it certainly wouldn't surprise the War Room audience that I previewed those grave sites.
00:05:26.420 I said the Russian side has been talking about this, that Russian media has emphasized this,
00:05:30.640 the Kremlin has emphasized this, and, of course, President Putin, one of the very first things
00:05:35.140 he said was to solidify this history.
00:05:38.780 And what's interesting, Steve, is, of course, the media, they don't understand what's going
00:05:42.580 on here.
00:05:43.040 They don't understand the way that two countries can actually effectuate a reset in relations
00:05:49.760 is by reflections on shared history, shared loss, and in this case, shared sacrifice in
00:05:57.060 that fight of World War II.
00:05:59.380 So having fought side-by-side, and there aren't a lot of instances, but you know when it comes
00:06:04.600 up to the Alaskan Air Bridge, the backdoor to the Lend-Lease program to get those American
00:06:11.940 fighter planes and bombers over to the Russians so that they could use them to fight in the
00:06:17.300 East, to fight in Stalingrad, all of that history actually is shared history between the
00:06:22.920 United States and Russia, fighting against fascist Germany and the Third Reich all the
00:06:28.560 way back through the 1940s.
00:06:30.860 And, of course, that's why they're bringing this up.
00:06:33.520 Steve, the media came out of there saying there's no ceasefire.
00:06:36.520 How could President Trump sign a ceasefire for Ukraine when he's not in charge of the
00:06:41.000 Ukrainian military?
00:06:41.840 I look at some of this neocon, neoliberal coverage, and I don't think they understand what's going
00:06:46.800 on.
00:06:47.400 But at a higher level, I think that their owners, the corporate backers, do understand
00:06:52.300 what's going on.
00:06:53.300 They understand that this is rapprochement, that this is a thaw in the relations, you know,
00:06:59.980 ironically enough, a thaw in Alaska in relations between the United States and Russia.
00:07:05.480 And think about the billions of dollars and the time and the deaths and all of which
00:07:11.500 has piled up to prevent the leaders of the United States and Russia simply from sitting
00:07:16.600 down in the back of a limo and hashing some things out.
00:07:19.740 And as President Trump has said again and again and again, it is better for the world
00:07:24.860 that the two largest nuclear superpowers have a good working relationship than to have
00:07:31.100 them at conflict.
00:07:31.760 But of course, this is a direct threat to the Atlanticist access because all of their
00:07:38.060 power goes away if you supersede.
00:07:41.300 And that's what they did.
00:07:42.220 They supersede all of NATO, all of the EU and Zelensky himself.
00:07:50.780 Put us on the plane.
00:07:51.980 OK, we got up to speed with you yesterday.
00:07:54.060 You told it was like going out.
00:07:55.800 We haven't had a chance.
00:07:56.720 You guys got back in the early morning hours, right?
00:08:00.200 Like 2.45 a.m., 3 o'clock is when it landed, when you landed in Andrews Air Force Base.
00:08:07.460 Here's the best part of it, right?
00:08:08.740 We land around 0200, 0230.
00:08:12.820 And we load up, grab all of our gear.
00:08:16.400 We say, OK, we're going to hit the motorcade because those are fast movements.
00:08:19.560 If you miss the movement, you're in big trouble because now you're stuck.
00:08:23.600 Secret Service might get you.
00:08:24.740 The car's leaving when the car's leaving.
00:08:26.540 So you've got to get in.
00:08:27.360 You've got to get it fast.
00:08:28.200 So we all gear up.
00:08:29.020 We're ready to go.
00:08:30.500 And then they say, hold.
00:08:31.700 So what do you mean hold?
00:08:32.740 And then we can see the Secret Service sitting down in the compartment just at Ford from us.
00:08:37.540 And we said, why is the Secret Service sitting down?
00:08:39.060 I thought we were all leaving.
00:08:40.500 Caroline Levitt comes back to us, the press secretary.
00:08:43.280 Incredible job because she's up working at the same time.
00:08:45.300 She comes back and she says, I want to let you know why we're all sitting here.
00:08:48.600 President Trump's in the middle of a phone call.
00:08:50.540 And he doesn't want to hang up to have to be able to go to the motorcade and lose the call.
00:08:54.740 He's on with one of the NATO heads right now, one of the EU leaders.
00:08:58.860 And he doesn't want to leave until he's finished his call.
00:09:02.720 And we said, wait a minute.
00:09:03.840 We've been in the air for six and a half hours.
00:09:06.300 What do you mean he's still on the phone?
00:09:07.880 Steve, he was on the phone the entire time.
00:09:11.020 So even after we had landed at Andrews, President Trump was still in the process of working through these.
00:09:17.340 And as he said, these tough phone calls, these not easy phone calls with the NATO leaders and with Zelensky.
00:09:24.700 And so we held there.
00:09:26.260 Then when he was finished, we got the disembark order.
00:09:29.020 We disembarked, got video of him coming down.
00:09:31.000 No questions again.
00:09:31.980 No gaggle, no spray as he got off the plane, then straight back to the White House.
00:09:36.600 And then from the White House, eventually I was able to get a little rack time, a little MyPillow time.
00:09:40.780 But now I'm here back in the war room.
00:09:42.120 But hang on a second, hang on a second.
00:09:45.580 This is unbelievable.
00:09:46.360 The guy, you guys, it's a pre-dawn launch.
00:09:50.020 So he's up at three or four anyway to get ready.
00:09:53.060 It's 24 hours.
00:09:54.280 He's still working the phones because it's a six hour with the, even with the tailwinds, it's a six hour flight back six and a half hours.
00:10:01.760 He's working the phones and you're telling me you guys land and you have a hold on the tarmac because he wants to finish the phone call.
00:10:08.880 He doesn't want to break continuity because they're in the, they're in the discussion.
00:10:12.800 They're, they're in the, he's, he's making the deal, right.
00:10:16.440 Or at least pushing things forward.
00:10:18.940 And he doesn't want to, he's been working the entire time.
00:10:22.380 I mean, who does that?
00:10:23.340 This guy's a machine.
00:10:24.540 I've never seen anybody like it.
00:10:26.760 And at his age to see someone like this and you hear, you hear people.
00:10:32.400 Now you go watch the Huberman podcast and all the people are saying, oh, I got trouble with, with, you know, being tired.
00:10:38.140 And I'm tired and I got trouble with energy and this and, and, and to see him to be able to do that and put on a masterclass for everyone.
00:10:44.320 And I want people to understand the entire team is there as well, working and to support all of these calls from Ratcliffe to Susie Wiles to Scott Besant, who I got a chance to see yesterday.
00:10:56.600 Pete Hegseth, Marco Rubio, the whole team, the entire team is there and all the press team that took really good care of us.
00:11:02.680 And so it is very much a working plane.
00:11:06.180 This is not a place where you're going to go and, okay, you're going to nod off.
00:11:09.600 You're on a private jet for a couple hours.
00:11:11.260 Absolutely not.
00:11:12.640 You're working the entire time.
00:11:14.180 It's essentially the airborne White House.
00:11:17.120 And the work absolutely never stops.
00:11:19.820 He's in comms the entire time.
00:11:21.600 And yes.
00:11:22.040 And he mentioned it in his Hannity interview yesterday.
00:11:24.660 You could tell, you know, where he says, I wish I hadn't agreed to this interview.
00:11:29.100 And Sean, of course, is sort of taking it back.
00:11:31.240 Are you saying on live TV that you wish you hadn't done an interview?
00:11:34.440 And, and you can get this sense that he wants to get on the phone because he realizes that what's, what's come here.
00:11:40.320 He realizes what the stakes are and he doesn't want to be spending time with media because he wanted to be able to get to work.
00:11:47.640 And I think that's really what the essential bottom line is because the, the, the outshot, the upshot of all of this is that president Trump was never able.
00:11:55.580 And I saw the, the neocon media saying, oh, well, he didn't get a ceasefire.
00:12:00.120 Well, he can't order a ceasefire unilaterally.
00:12:02.420 You have to get the Russians and the Ukrainians to order a ceasefire because if he says ceasefire, Russia agrees.
00:12:09.240 And then Zelensky does another operation spiderweb or something.
00:12:11.960 Now the entire peace process is blown up.
00:12:14.460 So he's got to get on the phone.
00:12:16.040 He's got to get the EU leaders to buy in.
00:12:18.100 And of course, that's why now, of course, we're seeing this meeting that's on the books locked in on Monday where President Zelensky will be flying, returning, making his return to the Oval Office.
00:12:28.560 And of course, of course, we'll all be watching to see his attire for the second meeting.
00:12:35.380 The, the, the unacceptable behavior of the media yesterday, I think exposed to the people of the world what jackals they are, right?
00:12:45.800 They have no composure, no control, throwing invective at both Putin, really, that was their focus and target, but also at President Trump was the ultimate payback.
00:12:55.280 Because when we're sitting here in the worm, we've just gotten off the air, when he just sits here, Putin's got his six minutes, Trump's like two minutes greater.
00:13:03.220 They grab, shake hands like an alpha male shake and then walk off in the media as a meltdown.
00:13:09.000 It's one of the greatest.
00:13:10.180 I stood up and gave a standing ovation.
00:13:12.880 Yeah, right.
00:13:13.420 Hell yes.
00:13:14.880 Was that, was that a prime moment yesterday when he basically told the media you're not worthy of taking a question from?
00:13:20.280 Well, and, and Steve, you know, you, you gotta put that in context of what happened during the press, what they call the press spray, um, just a few hours earlier.
00:13:29.680 So at the start of the meeting, which was noon local time, uh, in Anchorage, that was when they, they usher us into this small room and were there, president of the United States, president of Russia, the two most powerful people in the world, their entire delegations were brought in for a photo op.
00:13:46.560 They never said that they were going to be taking questions and, you know, I don't know, maybe, maybe I was raised a little differently, but you know, if I'm, if I'm in a room with guys like that and they say, we're not taking questions, I'm going to wait until they tell us it's okay to ask questions.
00:14:01.760 And then all of a sudden they, you know, I hear these, uh, voices screaming, well, why are you killing?
00:14:07.720 Why are you doing the killing?
00:14:09.040 Why are you bombing this?
00:14:10.160 Why are you bombing that?
00:14:11.580 And you know, it's a war that's, that's, we understand what the, what the situation is and what the consequences are.
00:14:16.560 But also we are, we are hopeful that we can stop those things with a peace deal.
00:14:21.720 That's the entire, that's the entire point of the exercise.
00:14:24.800 That's the evolution.
00:14:25.880 That's why we flew all the way here.
00:14:27.580 So it is invective.
00:14:29.360 And it was to my mind, an attempt to try to sabotage all of this and probably why there were no questions later at the press conference.
00:14:39.300 Hang on for one second.
00:14:40.500 Jack Posobik's with us.
00:14:42.380 Captain Jim Fennell's with us.
00:14:44.000 I got the, uh, I got the, the best of Naval intelligence is with us as we break it all down in the war room.
00:14:54.300 You missed the IRS tax deadline.
00:15:03.100 You think it's just going to go away?
00:15:04.540 Well, think again.
00:15:06.360 The IRS doesn't mess around and they're applying pressure like we haven't seen in years.
00:15:10.860 So if you haven't filed in a while, even if you can't pay, don't wait.
00:15:16.260 And don't face the IRS alone.
00:15:19.600 You need the trusted experts by your side.
00:15:21.960 Tax Network USA.
00:15:23.720 Tax Network USA isn't like other tax relief companies.
00:15:27.340 They have an edge, a preferred direct line to the IRS.
00:15:30.780 They know which agents to talk to and which ones to avoid.

00:18:05.340 We've got Posobiec.
00:18:06.080 Let's go over.
00:18:06.540 We're going to play some of the clips from the open of the show and have Jack Posobiec to a pine.
00:18:10.400 Let's roll.
00:18:11.900 And two things I think we have to be very concerned about and offer advice to President Trump is to avoid two things.
00:18:20.600 One, a huge underwriting commitment to the redevelopment of Ukraine.
00:18:24.920 We have more than, over 37 trillion in debt and $2 trillion deficits and no end in sight.
00:18:31.560 And inflation, the inflation that they are driven, not by terrorists, but driven by the Keynesian stimulus we still put in with these deficits.
00:18:39.380 And with Congress refusing to consider rescissions or pocket rescissions or impoundments, that this orgy of spending just continues on and on and on.
00:18:49.620 That we have to avoid us stepping up and being a major commitment and even American financial institutions.
00:18:55.740 Their focus should be the United States of America.
00:18:59.380 We have more than enough need for development in this country, tremendous needs for development in this country.
00:19:05.580 You don't need to look in Europe and particularly Ukraine for the United States to be involved.
00:19:10.760 And not just the development guarantees and the capital guarantees.
00:19:13.880 Even darker are what we call security guarantees.
00:19:17.320 Security guarantees essentially mean American, not just arms, but American troops.
00:19:22.440 Now, maybe it starts off American troops aren't there, but you set up a tripwire like it would be tantamount to including Ukraine and NATO as an Article 5 country.
00:19:34.780 If the Russians would do anything in the future.
00:19:37.280 So a security guarantee and any type of economic guarantees, we really have to fight to make sure that we don't get entrapped further.
00:19:44.820 Remember, the whole purpose of America first is to get out of these entanglements.
00:19:49.480 To let the Europeans and the Russians figure it out.
00:19:53.120 I'm an advocate that after this deal is done, I don't even know why we have any more combat troops in Europe.
00:19:58.700 World War II is over.
00:20:00.120 This is the 80th commemoration.
00:20:02.120 You put this part of the war to bed.
00:20:05.060 It's no need for American combat troops in Germany.
00:20:07.600 The tens of thousands of combat troops we have.
00:20:09.840 We have more than enough needs for hemispheric defense throughout the cities of the United States,
00:20:16.320 the border of the United States, down in Panama, taking back the Panama Canal, in the Pacific, in our territories, not in foreign territories, but in our territories as rapid deployment forces.
00:20:27.080 This should be the focus.
00:20:28.260 We're following several breaking developments on talks to end Russia's war in Ukraine.
00:20:34.000 First, a European official tells CNN that part of their overnight conversations with President Donald Trump included Article 5 type security guarantees for Ukraine with European and U.S. backing in the event of a peace deal.
00:20:48.520 President Donald Trump got back to Joint Base Andrews a few hours ago, fresh off a summit with President Putin in Anchorage.
00:20:56.880 He just posted new details about the summit and his phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky and NATO leaders on the flight home.
00:21:03.460 Here's what we know.
00:21:04.220 Trump says everyone agreed that the best way to end the war would be to go straight to a peace agreement, not a ceasefire deal.
00:21:12.580 He went on to say that Zelensky would come to Washington, D.C. on Monday, and if that works out, they would schedule a meeting with Putin.
00:21:20.700 The hours before, Zelensky said on X that Ukraine is ready to go full tilt to achieve peace.
00:21:27.200 And he supports President Trump's proposal for a trilateral meeting.
00:21:30.960 After Friday's summit, both Trump and Putin claimed progress.
00:21:34.880 Yeah, the key development today appears to be the nature of the security guarantees that appear to be the sweetener for any deal for Ukraine here.
00:21:44.720 Now, we don't have a full readout of the U.S. position on this, but we've just heard from European leaders a statement with the EU head, Ursula von der Leyen,
00:21:55.580 and eight other nations referring to the need for concrete security guarantees, something that's been added to by French President Emmanuel Macron just now in a social media post referring to the U.S. willingness to contribute to those security guarantees.
00:22:10.640 Okay, Jack Possova, you got it right there, what we warned about.
00:22:16.420 It's a massive financial commitment on reconstruction.
00:22:19.600 Larry Fink's just taken over the World Economic Forum last night.
00:22:25.200 They got rid of Klaus Schwab, but they're not going to charge him with any crimes for stealing or embezzlement.
00:22:30.700 And Fink's already said he's going to put American capital, American pension workers' capital to work over there.
00:22:37.000 Then you've got this issue of security guarantees we warned about.
00:22:39.980 This is Article 5.
00:22:40.980 So in essence, the globalists in the EU and NATO, what they want is the objectives of the war, to have Ukraine in the EU and to have Ukraine in NATO.
00:22:51.460 Now with the Article 5 security guarantee by the Americans and with some hotheads still in Ukraine, and I'm not saying they shouldn't be hotheads.
00:23:02.140 There's a million people dead and wounded over there, and these cities have been leveled.
00:23:06.100 There's a lot of animosity.
00:23:07.180 There's more animosity, more hatred there than there is in the West Bank because there's been more destruction.
00:23:12.580 And you know how they hate each other in the West Bank.
00:23:14.500 Jack Possovic, your observations on this, brother.
00:23:17.480 Well, Steve, this, of course, strikes to the heart of it.
00:23:22.080 When Putin talks about, and Lavrov has spoken at length about this, and I've seen his interviews as well,
00:23:28.040 they all talk about how it is a complete red line for them for Ukraine to be in NATO.
00:23:34.640 And, yes, that would include a de facto NATO protection because, of course, if Ukraine is given Article 5 security guarantee,
00:23:44.340 that's essentially a de facto NATO membership in and of itself.
00:23:48.180 What they're looking for is neutrality on Ukraine so that neither side has Ukraine,
00:23:55.240 neither the CIS framework that, of course, you're seeing from between Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan,
00:24:01.900 some of the other states over there, as well as the post-Soviet sphere, but or the NATO nation.
00:24:07.220 So no Warsaw Pact and no NATO for Ukraine is essentially what their starting position is.
00:24:12.940 And, of course, President Trump realizing that if he can't overcome that challenge,
00:24:18.220 then that's exactly the same position that we were in at the start of the war.
00:24:22.820 These are the preconditions and the root causes that the Russian side is talking about.
00:24:28.420 So the trick here is how do you get – and President Trump's the only one who can take – who can figure this out because this is a triple bank shot.
00:24:36.020 The triple bank shot is you've got to get the war to stop.
00:24:40.340 You've got to get some kind of recognition for the territories as it currently constituted and a security guarantee so that you can pull out.
00:24:49.340 President Trump's the only one, along with his team, Secretary Besant, they are coming in on the economic side,
00:24:55.160 the only way that they can ever get through this because any other president, you just have more war.
00:25:01.880 Hang on for one second.
00:25:02.980 Let's play Swalwell.
00:25:03.720 I want your observations on this.
00:25:05.360 The thing that galled me the most yesterday of all the hatred dumped on President Trump came from this guy.
00:25:09.660 Let's play it.
00:25:10.720 Well, if you're Europe, you're quite worried now because you just saw the president of the United States achieve zero.
00:25:18.060 And they will have to ask themselves what more are they willing to do,
00:25:21.380 knowing that they too could be thrown under the bus if Russia ever moved farther west.
00:25:26.900 But as far as objectives, I was hoping to hear that there would be a trilateral meeting.
00:25:32.400 That didn't come out of this.
00:25:33.420 I was hoping to hear there'd be a ceasefire.
00:25:34.640 That didn't come out of this.
00:25:35.320 And I was hoping to at least hear about the territory that would be proposed or exchanged by both sides.
00:25:42.600 That didn't come out of this.
00:25:44.060 Look, Alicia, I don't know if Donald Trump is or is not a Russian asset.
00:25:48.900 But I do know that at press conferences like this and like at Helsinki, he certainly acts like one.
00:25:55.760 And that is cold comfort for anyone in the United States, particularly in our military,
00:25:59.760 that the commander in chief would be so flattering of and so charming to a ruthless dictator like Vladimir Putin.
00:26:08.700 Okay, Jack Posobiec, knowing now what we know about Helsinki and have Swalwell, who slept with a Chinese spy, your observation, sir.
00:26:21.000 I mean, Steve, it couldn't be more further from the truth.
00:26:24.140 I was at the Helsinki summit as well in 2019 there at the presidential palace in Finland.
00:26:30.200 That coming four years.
00:26:31.620 So that think of it.
00:26:32.560 U.S. Russian relations were at a point in 2018 where there was a potential thaw.
00:26:37.120 There was a potential for a framework of an agreement.
00:26:40.680 By the way, it doesn't mean friendship.
00:26:42.240 It doesn't mean alliance.
00:26:43.300 It means rapprochement.
00:26:44.560 So if you achieve that rapprochement, that was already well in the works.
00:26:49.220 And remember, this is one year prior, the Helsinki summit one year prior to the first impeachment of President Trump,
00:26:55.100 which was all about what?
00:26:56.800 Ukraine and a phone call with who?
00:26:58.960 Vladimir Zelensky.
00:27:00.460 The exact same.
00:27:01.960 So all of this has been tied together.
00:27:03.780 And intrinsically, look, Steve, what President Trump is doing by releasing the Russiagate documents,
00:27:09.420 which Swalwell played a huge role in in the dissemination and the role of that of that hoax, as well as Adam Schiff.
00:27:17.000 The entire goal of Russiagate wasn't just to, quote unquote, get Trump.
00:27:21.180 It was to affect this conflict.
00:27:23.900 So the reason that President Trump and DNI Gabbard are declassifying and releasing everything now
00:27:29.360 is to set the preconditions for a new rapprochement with Russia by resetting the context.
00:27:36.820 The rapprochement with Russia is vitally important, just like Nixon did it with the Chinese Communist Party in the early 70s.
00:27:47.300 The rapprochement to do the reverse Nixon is to make sure that we keep the main thing, the main thing,
00:27:53.380 the existential threat of the Chinese Communist Party has infiltrated every aspect of our nation.
00:27:59.740 We're going to take a short commercial break.
00:28:01.180 We're going to get into that when we return.
00:28:03.480 We've got Captain Jim Fennell.
00:28:05.140 We have the Jack Posobiec.
00:28:08.200 The Carolyn Levitt just put out a great tweet thanking Jack as a major influencer for going on the trip.
00:28:13.320 Good job.
00:28:13.940 Bravo, Zulu.
00:28:14.900 Jack Posobiec.
00:28:16.620 Short break.
00:28:17.260 Back in a moment.
00:28:20.520 According to the Department of Energy, blackouts could increase by 10,000 percent over the next few years.
00:28:25.960 It's because of massive energy demand from artificial intelligence data centers.
00:28:30.580 We talk about that all the time here in the War Room.
00:28:33.480 And we have a fragile power grid.
00:28:35.600 It just cannot keep up with that demand.
00:28:38.020 I don't know about you, but I don't like the idea of being without power, even for a day.
00:28:42.160 That's why I got the Grid Doctor 3300 from my patron supply.
00:28:47.000 It's a powerful solar generator that runs refrigerators, AC units, medical devices, power tools, anything you need to write out a blackout.

00:32:04.260 Thank you, Steve.
00:32:05.480 We got a clip.
00:32:06.780 We're going to keep the main thing the main thing.
00:32:08.440 Let's go and play the clip for Captain Fennell and Jack Posovic.
00:32:12.920 Hi, John.
00:32:13.740 I will tell you this.
00:32:14.400 Anyone who lives in this part of the world,
00:32:16.220 we all know that the South China Sea is a very volatile part of real estate.
00:32:21.520 And what happened here certainly had the potential to be much worse.
00:32:25.640 Let's watch this video together.
00:32:27.620 And you will see this Chinese warship colliding with a Chinese Coast Guard ship.
00:32:33.340 As you mentioned, they were chasing some boats from the Philippines.
00:32:36.380 The Coast Guard ship, the Chinese Coast Guard ship, was so damaged,
00:32:40.060 it took off part of its bow.
00:32:42.800 And as you can see there, the water is very choppy.
00:32:45.800 At the time of this whole incident, three Chinese Coast Guard members were actually on the bow of the boat when the impact happened.
00:32:57.040 I think you can see that in the video.
00:32:59.480 This video, I should point out, was all captured by the...
00:33:02.800 Okay, I want to keep playing that as B-roll.
00:33:06.260 Captain Fennell, what in the hell happened?
00:33:08.340 Is this an accident of seamanship or is this...
00:33:10.360 Folks, this is how aggressive the Chinese Communist Party...
00:33:13.880 They think that South China Sea, which is one of the major interlinking maritime bodies in the world,
00:33:21.500 they think it's an internal sea of China.
00:33:23.580 And they're prepared to defend it.
00:33:24.840 Captain Fennell, why is this so important when we're trying to get peace in Ukraine, sir?
00:33:28.800 Well, Steve, just to kind of wrap up or tell you what happened there,
00:33:34.220 this is on Monday, 8 o'clock in the morning in the South China Sea.
00:33:38.540 And for over an hour, Chinese Navy destroyer, 7,500 tons, 500-foot-long warship,
00:33:46.380 was chasing, along with the Chinese Coast Guard vessel, that vessel right there, the white vessel, 3104,
00:33:52.760 a former Navy vessel, a Type 056 Corvette, which is about 1,500 tons,
00:33:59.800 was chasing a Filipino Coast Guard cutter.
00:34:02.460 They were trying to chase it off and away from Scarborough Shoal,
00:34:06.720 which is a shoal about 140 miles northwest of Manila,
00:34:12.140 well within the Filipino's exclusive economic zone.
00:34:15.840 And these two vessels chased that Filipino Coast Guard cutter
00:34:18.920 and were trying to ram it for over an hour.
00:34:21.440 And then there at the last minute, because you basically have this,
00:34:26.080 what I would say, this large destroyer, which is like an 18-wheeler,
00:34:30.280 working with a U-Haul box truck, trying to attack a little small Mini Cooper, if you will,
00:34:37.860 to put it in car language that maybe people can better understand.
00:34:42.480 And this ship, this destroyer, ran across, as it says,
00:34:46.540 and cut the bow off and killed maybe up to four sailors, maybe more.
00:34:50.280 We don't know who was damaged aboard, because they were going 20 to 25 knots,
00:34:54.980 and that Corvette, that cutter, went from 20 to 25 knots to zero in a split second.
00:35:01.200 And what's really telling us is that the destroyer, once the collision occurred,
00:35:06.460 did not stop to render aid and assistance to its Chinese sailors aboard that Chinese Coast Guard cutter
00:35:12.240 and continued to pursue the Philippine Coast Guard cutter.
00:35:15.700 The reason this happened is because the cutter, the Filipino Coast Guard cutter,
00:35:20.600 crossed within 10 and a half miles, nautical miles, of the shoal.
00:35:25.700 And they had been trying to drive it away when it had been at 30 miles,
00:35:29.800 and they ended up driving it into the shoal area.
00:35:32.520 And it really, they agitated once across 12,
00:35:35.620 because the Chinese illegally claim a 12-nautical-mile territorial sea around this shoal,
00:35:41.380 which is absurd.
00:35:42.700 It was shot down in 2016.
00:35:44.440 Why do we make...
00:35:45.040 Hang on.
00:35:46.780 Why do we make the case that the eastern Russian-speaking border of Ukraine
00:35:52.020 is not in the vital national security interest of the United States?
00:35:54.640 Why is this?
00:35:55.640 Why do we make the case that the South China Sea,
00:35:57.640 what you're seeing here, the Chinese trying to defend it or dominate it,
00:36:01.100 why is that in the vital national security interest of the United States, sir?
00:36:05.980 A couple of reasons.
00:36:07.180 First and foremost is because we have been, since World War II,
00:36:11.500 patrolling those waters and keeping this kind of activity from happening.
00:36:15.640 And when this starts to happen, wars start.
00:36:18.520 And so we've been trying to not let that happen.
00:36:20.760 That's the first reason.
00:36:21.920 Second reason is that the Philippines is actually a treaty ally, unlike Ukraine.
00:36:27.720 So we have a mutual defense treaty in an Article 4.
00:36:31.040 It's the same as the Article 5 with the Philippines,
00:36:34.140 that we said that we would defend them,
00:36:36.020 which they have worked with us and fought with us alongside of us in many wars.
00:36:40.280 And then thirdly, there's trillions and trillions of dollars,
00:36:44.140 maybe $5 trillion of American goods and services that go through the South China Sea in any given year.
00:36:51.600 And essentially, the reason this is happening is because in 2012,
00:36:56.460 the Chinese took this shoal from the Philippines under Obama's administration.
00:37:03.180 Hillary Clinton was the Secretary of State,
00:37:04.760 and Kirk Campbell was in charge of these Pacific affairs, East Asian Pacific affairs.
00:37:11.220 And he failed to protect our treaty ally.
00:37:15.800 And the Chinese, through hook and crook,
00:37:18.200 stole Scarborough Shoal from the Republic of the Philippines from April 2012 to June 15.
00:37:24.580 And since June 16, 2012, China has had de facto sovereignty over that shoal.
00:37:30.600 And they have allowed, over the last decade at times,
00:37:34.160 to allow Filipino fishermen on banca boats to go there.
00:37:37.440 But since Marcos, the new president of the Philippines, has come in and been much more pro-America,
00:37:42.660 the Chinese have really ramped up and set up what you could call their own kind of maritime exclusion zone
00:37:48.580 around the shoal at 20 to 30 miles.
00:37:52.200 And this, the reason...
00:37:53.500 Jim, hang on for a second.
00:37:54.380 Because...
00:37:54.980 Go ahead.
00:37:56.040 Yep.
00:37:57.380 No, go ahead, finish it.
00:37:58.720 Yeah, the reason this is important is because, one, this is how a war can start.
00:38:04.240 I mean, this could have easily been the Filipino cutter that would have been swamped and sunk.
00:38:10.140 And we already know that President Marcos has said, he said it in this year,
00:38:14.840 if we lose the life of the sailor, that'll be a declaration of war for us.
00:38:19.400 So that's one issue that makes us be very concerned.
00:38:22.600 Secondly, it's because the Chinese intent is to be able to control the South China Sea and say who can come in and come out.
00:38:31.940 They have been for 10 years harassing American naval vessels that just steam through there.
00:38:38.220 This week on Wednesday, the USS Higgins and the USS Cincinnati steamed by Scarborough Shoal,
00:38:44.440 and the Chinese said, we violated their territorial waters.
00:38:47.320 That's absurd.
00:38:48.720 We can go anywhere in international water, and we do not need the PRC's permission.
00:38:53.640 And if they're allowed to change the international order and what we fought for for hundreds of years of naval,
00:39:00.940 from the Americans, the British, and the Spanish, and whatever, to allow us to have freedom of navigation,
00:39:06.860 then that means that we can't buy and sell and trade, and small nations will be crushed,
00:39:11.560 and China will then advance towards America.
00:39:14.200 So, Jack Posobiec, CNN is reporting now that we've deployed the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group
00:39:22.780 and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit to attach them to SOUTHCOM to start to patrol the Caribbean and off Latin America
00:39:32.920 for interdiction, potential interdiction, and to counter the narco-terror operations in Central America and Mexico.
00:39:41.020 Isn't that more in keeping with America first than steaming in the South China Sea, sir, as you and Captain Fennell and myself did, sir?
00:39:51.640 Well, Steve, certainly, you know, the United States military and the United States Navy has the ability to walk and chew gum.
00:39:59.960 These are different types of operations.
00:40:01.380 When you're talking about freedom of navigation operations, that's what we're looking at in terms of the shipping lanes
00:40:06.280 that travel through the South China Sea.
00:40:09.280 This is all about what you could say that the Chinese are playing smash-mouth Mahanianism
00:40:15.020 because they're trying to push everyone out of the shipping lanes through the South China Sea
00:40:19.760 because what does that do?
00:40:21.060 That connects the Taiwan Strait with the Strait of Malacca and then all the way up to South Korea and Japan.
00:40:27.360 That's what this is all about.
00:40:28.620 But when it comes to the United States, aggressive, any type of interdiction operations,
00:40:35.520 any type of counter-narco, counter-terror, counter-cartel,
00:40:38.980 that's what we should be looking at the Caribbean for from the Gulf of America down south.
00:40:43.540 In fact, that's why Guantanamo Bay, which I was stationed at for about a year,
00:40:48.860 that was and is our oldest overseas base.
00:40:52.720 We've maintained it since the Spanish-American War, as we're just talking about.
00:40:56.520 It also pertained to the Philippines.
00:40:58.300 And in fact, what was it used for?
00:41:00.060 It was a coaling station for patrol of the Caribbean, for control of these areas,
00:41:05.520 all the way back even during the 1800s and the time of Teddy Roosevelt and the Great White Fleet.
00:41:10.880 So it was always about keeping foreign empires, and in this case, transnational bad actors,
00:41:17.660 out of our backyard.
00:41:19.080 We are the big dog in the Caribbean, and we're going to keep it that way.
00:41:22.720 By the way, folks, we've talked to you about this interdiction into the cartels,
00:41:29.820 the human trafficking cartels, the drug cartels, all of it.
00:41:32.440 Hey, wait, Pete Hegseth, one of the first steps of our hemispheric defense
00:41:36.460 is cleaning out the Caribbean of the Chinese Communist Party and the narco-terrorists.
00:41:40.240 Now they've got an amphibious ready group now been attached to Southcom and the 22nd Marines.
00:41:47.680 So a standby for heavy rolls, as we call it.
00:41:51.060 Captain Fennell, you're putting stuff up on American Greatness.
00:41:53.520 Where can people get your writing, sir?
00:41:56.120 I have pieces up on American Greatness, and I just had a piece published by U.S. Naval Institute
00:42:01.700 proceedings on this event.
00:42:03.440 And I'll just say one last thing.
00:42:04.800 If we had taken care of business in 2012 and defended our ally then, we wouldn't be facing
00:42:09.840 the crisis that's emerging right now in the South and East China Seas and threatening
00:42:14.600 the stability of Asia and causing the Third World War.
00:42:18.420 By the way, we're going to link to your Naval Institute article.
00:42:24.560 Make sure you get up.
00:42:25.220 As a young officer, I was actually on the Board of Control of the Naval Institute back in the 1980s
00:42:29.280 when I was still a naval officer.
00:42:30.960 Captain Fennell, always honored to have you on here.
00:42:33.500 Jack Posobiec, honored to have you on today.
00:42:36.960 The White House honored you by putting you on as a major influencer and voice and podcaster.
00:42:41.340 Where do people go this weekend to get all your content, sir?
00:42:46.480 Well, thanks so much, Steve.
00:42:47.700 Of course, the homepage is always going to be on X at Human Events, but then we've also
00:42:52.700 got the podcast up, Human Events Daily, where we're going to be sharing some of the behind
00:42:57.560 the scenes about what went on, what's it like riding on Air Force One, what are the logistics
00:43:02.820 that go into, obviously, certain things I can't talk about for security purposes, but
00:43:06.600 we're going to try to give our listeners, our viewers, what it's like to be behind the
00:43:10.240 scenes, not only of Riding Air Force One, but also of these negotiations.
00:43:14.800 I was in Kiev, I was in Anchorage, peace is the prize.
00:43:20.180 In Helsinki, also, it's going to take place during Jack's thing, we're going to try to
00:43:25.200 get Jack on the morning show.
00:43:26.240 Thank you, brother.
00:43:26.940 Go back to the family.
00:43:30.340 There's a lot of talk about government debt, but after four years of inflation, the real
00:43:34.700 crisis is personal debt.
00:43:36.340 Seriously, you're working harder than ever, and you're still drowning in credit card debt
00:43:41.920 and overdue bills.
00:43:44.120 You need done with debt, and here's why you need it.
00:43:47.300 The credit system is rigged to keep you trapped.
00:43:50.980 Done with debt has unique and, frankly, brilliant escape strategies to help end your debt fast,
00:43:57.360 so you keep more of your hard-earned money.
00:44:00.580 Done with debt doesn't try to sell you a loan, and they don't try to sell you a bankruptcy.
00:44:05.120 They're tough negotiators that go one-on-one with your credit card and loan companies with
00:44:10.640 one goal, to drastically reduce your bills and eliminate interest and erase penalties.
00:44:16.720 Most clients end up with more money in their pocket month one, and they don't stop until
00:44:22.100 they break you free from debt permanently.
00:44:27.000 Look, take a couple of minutes and visit donewithdebt.com.
00:44:30.940 Talk with one of their strategists.
00:44:32.580 It's free.
00:44:33.060 But listen up.
00:44:34.940 Some of their solutions are time-sensitive, so you'll need to move quickly.
00:44:39.560 Go to donewithdebt.com.
00:44:41.160 That's donewithdebt.com.
00:44:42.780 Stop the anxiety.
00:44:44.420 Stop the angst.
00:44:45.620 Go to donewithdebt.com and do it today.
00:44:49.280 Here's your host, Stephen K. Mann.
00:44:51.620 Okay, I'm going to be up on Getter throughout the weekend with all types of analysis, commentary,
00:44:58.200 putting stories up.
00:44:58.900 But this thing about there's 4,000 troops heading to the Caribbean, the Iwo Jima Amphibious
00:45:04.680 Readiness Group and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit attached now to the SOUTHCOM.
00:45:10.260 Folks, the party is on.
00:45:13.540 Pete Hex at the last second went on the plane with President Trump.
00:45:16.360 I'm sure part of this was not just updating on Ukraine, but updating on what's happening here.
00:45:20.600 And you've got to clean out.
00:45:22.280 Hemispheric defense starts in the hemisphere.
00:45:26.040 Clean out the Caribbean of the Chinese Communist Party.
00:45:28.900 First off, their Navy, the People's Liberation Navy, got to go.
00:45:31.900 All the big listening stations got to go.
00:45:33.660 You got to clean up this mess in the Bahamas.
00:45:35.600 All of it.
00:45:36.800 And man, get to the narco-terrorists in Central America and Mexico.
00:45:41.340 And if they're not going to clean it up, we're going to clean it up.
00:45:44.420 That's how you start defending the United States of America.
00:45:47.140 This is in the vital national security interests of these United States, as is the South China Sea.
00:45:54.160 More on that during the week.
00:45:55.400 Of course, Monday is going to be huge.
00:45:56.800 We'll be up all weekend, and we're going to have a bunch of special guests to analyze all this on Monday morning.
00:46:01.600 Before, Zelensky shows up, I think, right now in the afternoon.
00:46:04.160 I want to thank Birch Gold.
00:46:05.880 As you know, economic warfare is as big a part as kinetic warfare, as the guns and the troops.
00:46:11.880 You're seeing this happen in the Ukraine right now as they try to get us into these massive commitments financially.
00:46:16.980 Hello.
00:46:18.160 Not going to help that Larry Fink, the ultimate globalist, is now running the World Economic Forum.
00:46:22.640 You thought Klaus Schwab was a problem?
00:46:24.220 You ain't seen nothing yet with that guy.
00:46:25.780 Make sure you go to Birch Gold, end of the dollar empire, birchgold.com, promo code Bannon, seven free installments, number eight and nine coming.
00:46:33.540 We're also going to do a print edition, much more of that after Labor Day.
00:46:38.120 Also, on a bunch of events we're going to do with Birch Gold, there's so much going to happen in the fall and winter this year.
00:46:44.380 We'll walk you all into that, birchgold.com, slash Bannon, end of the dollar empire.
00:46:48.360 But make contact with Philip Patrick and his team and talk to them about the benefits of owning physical gold.
00:46:55.960 So I'll be up all weekend.
00:46:57.360 This is a work weekend, a lot going on, and this audience is at the tip of it.
00:47:01.140 And folks, come Monday, you're going to fire off the football on the redistricting because it's not just Texas.
00:47:08.380 We need a Texas nine, not a Texas five anymore.
00:47:11.440 Abbott, you had your shot.
00:47:13.520 You showed the total complete fecklessness and incompetence.
00:47:17.020 Now you've got to give us nine.
00:47:18.540 Okay?
00:47:18.920 And we have to crush Gavin Newsom's bid for the presidency.
00:47:22.380 It starts in November when he's trying to get this resolution passed.
00:47:26.980 They can then throw away their commission and go and take, I think, 48 of 52 seats in their delegation.
00:47:33.400 Not that they were gerrymander.
00:47:34.560 He said he got to fight fire with fire.
00:47:36.580 Right now, Trevor Kompsock got a couple of minutes.
00:47:38.660 Where do people go?
00:47:39.480 You're on fire.
00:47:40.380 Every one of your products is a hit because of kind of the discernment you have and the judgment and the care and tender care that you give them.
00:47:48.660 What do you got for us, sir?
00:47:50.320 Yeah, I appreciate you, Steve.
00:47:51.340 So I'm happy to report that people are just now getting their first jars of the Nutella moisturizer and have already been giving us amazing feedback through the email as well as reviews.
00:48:01.540 So I'm very pleased about that and just want to say thank you for all the positive messages and support.
00:48:07.460 You know, it has been flying off the shelf still, but our team's been doing a great job of keeping up with demand.
00:48:12.560 So we still don't have to list it as out of stock, which is great.
00:48:16.160 And again, for anyone that isn't aware, just a little background on it.
00:48:19.560 The moisturizer is made with the two ingredients, which is the 100% American grass-fed and finished beef tallow and then the raw manuka honey.
00:48:27.840 That's it.
00:48:28.420 There's no preservatives, no synthetic ingredients, no fillers or anything like that.
00:48:32.200 And again, every jar is handmade.
00:48:33.600 And then for people that don't know, tallow, it's really amazing because it essentially mirrors the natural oils that your skin produces.
00:48:42.320 And then it's filled with a ton of nutrients like vitamin A, D, E, K.
00:48:46.860 They're all essential for natural skin hydration.
00:48:49.920 And then, of course, like I mentioned, we pair it with the raw manuka honey, which is a natural occurring antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and healing property.
00:48:57.640 So that's great for doing things like helping out with eczema or reducing redness or anything like that.
00:49:03.480 And, you know, the towel is amazing, too, because it doesn't clog your pores.
00:49:06.880 It doesn't have a smell or anything like that.
00:49:08.680 So it goes on really nicely.
00:49:10.060 You can use it on your hands.
00:49:11.220 You can use it on your face, your neck or anywhere on your body that you prefer.
00:49:15.620 And again, it's great for things like dry skin, eczema, as well as daily skin hydration.
00:49:20.480 So, again, it's been selling like crazy.
00:49:23.460 I'm super happy about it.
00:49:24.680 And I just wanted to come on and say thank you for all the support so far.
00:49:28.220 Thank you.
00:49:28.820 Where do people go?
00:49:30.680 I want to find out about all the products are hits.
00:49:33.260 The feedback's amazing.
00:49:34.360 Where do they go right now?
00:49:35.360 I want them to go to the site, look at the great reviews, look at the products, get to know you.
00:49:39.760 Where do they go?
00:49:41.240 Yeah.
00:49:41.640 So you can go to sacredhumanhealth.com.
00:49:44.360 Also use code WARMOOM for 10% off any one-time order.

00:49:55.640 Thank you, brother.
00:49:56.540 Appreciate you doing this on our Saturday.

00:49:59.200 Thank you.
