Summary

Trump and his inner circle and his allies have been citing the shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk as a justification to crack down not just on the accused perpetrator, but to bring the full weight of the government down on all their perceived enemies and opponents, the left. Even though there has been, thankfully, a welcome, universal, and unanimous condemnation of the murder and of all political violence.

00:00:00.000 48 hours, Trump's inner circle and his allies and right-wing media have been citing
00:00:03.500 the shooting death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk as a justification to crack down
00:00:08.720 not just on the accused perpetrator, but to bring the full weight of the government down on
00:00:13.940 all their perceived enemies and opponents, the left, even though there has been, thankfully,
00:00:20.300 from the actual elected leaders of the Democratic Party, a welcome, universal,
00:00:24.120 and unanimous condemnation of the murder and of all political violence.
00:00:30.000 Even though researchers with no political axe to grind have, when they have looked into the
00:00:34.040 question, consistently found that most American domestic extremist violence is statistically
00:00:38.220 right-wing violence. The New York Times reports President Trump and his top advisors threatened
00:00:43.160 on Monday to unleash the power of the federal government to punish what they allege was a
00:00:48.320 left-wing network that funds and incites violence, seizing on Charlie Kirk's killing to make broad
00:00:53.520 and unsubstantiated claims about their political opponents.
00:00:56.340 We have to escalate, and it's not towards violence. Have you seen anybody in Charlie Kirk's arena? Have
00:01:03.440 you seen anybody on the right go burn down anything, go threaten anybody? No, but we're going to get to
00:01:08.960 the bottom and destroy this. I gave a talk to the CPI guys last night. That's Senator DeMint and Mark
00:01:15.960 Meadows kind of umbrella organization for conservatives like conservative leaders. And I said, this is an
00:01:21.640 inflection point that those that have just been going along to get along have gotten us here because
00:01:28.340 they haven't stood up. And now you see with what happened at Charlie Kirk. And as bad as is presented
00:01:34.860 in Utah, I'm not buying all of it. I'm particularly not buying those text messages. It just seems too
00:01:42.580 stilted, too much like a script, actually a bad script. So we got to get to the bottom of it. You have to
00:01:49.860 designate these groups. You heard Aaron Sibarium from Free Beacon. He's got this piece that you
00:01:57.520 should read just about all the other tweets that were out there, right, that seem amazingly prescient
00:02:03.180 for Charlie Kirk coming to, quite frankly, a college that not a lot of people know about,
00:02:08.920 a university that not a lot of people know about, although I think it's the largest university,
00:02:12.640 bigger than the University of Utah or Brigham Young in the state of Utah. You've got to get to the
00:02:18.480 bottom of these groups. You've got to get to the bottom of Antifa. You've got to see if there's
00:02:21.440 any connections to Butler. We've got a whole lot of work to do, right? A whole lot of work to do.
00:02:27.060 And no, I am not buying the script that was in the text messages. I think so much more has got to be
00:02:34.180 done about this. I think the parents ought to be brought in. I think everybody in the discourse
00:02:38.280 channel, the roommate, what do you mean? The roommate sounds like their accessory are not
00:02:43.120 turning him in. He sent this text message hours and hours before. Why is that any different than
00:02:48.200 the Boston, the Boston bomber where the four roommates went to prison because they didn't
00:02:52.540 turn him in? I think that no American politician has done more to normalize political violence in
00:03:05.120 this country other than Donald J. Trump. He has used insightful language, dehumanizing language
00:03:17.660 to describe his dissenters or his political opponents. And I would argue that in pardoning
00:03:25.900 at least the 530 some odd insurrectionists who violently assaulted police officers on January 6th,
00:03:34.580 2021, he is advocating for the use of political violence in furtherance of his administration.
00:03:44.100 He has told his supporters that if you commit acts of violence, I've got your back. And this
00:03:52.120 administration will absolve you of any criminal culpability. And that message has resonated with
00:03:58.900 his supporters. This means war. That is where we are. We are at war with these people. These folks
00:04:07.120 are evil. There is an ultra right MAGA contingent in this country that wants to overthrow the U.S.
00:04:14.720 government. It is a danger to our democracy. It is a danger to our way of life. The MAGA movement
00:04:21.220 is a threat. The extremists that we're dealing with every single day, we've got to kill and confront
00:04:25.840 that movement. Clearly, you know, this is a literally call to arms. Obviously, Republicans,
00:04:33.480 I think, are the biggest threat to democracy. We don't separate right-wing extremists and Republican
00:04:37.800 Party anymore. I see this as a part. I mean, Hezbollah, you know, bombed the embassy in Beirut and
00:04:45.840 including many Americans. So I just feel it's quite inappropriate. You are an Islamophobe. And
00:04:51.460 although you live here, I want you to know as mayor, you are not welcome here. And the day you
00:04:55.920 move out of the city will be the day that I launch a parade celebrating the fact that you moved out
00:05:00.140 of the city because you are not somebody who believes in co-existent.
00:05:03.400 You see what the Tillis's of the world want? And it's more than that, right? It's Cox. It's Katie Britt in,
00:05:32.980 in Alabama. It's all of them, virtually, de-escalate. They're telling you to accept the
00:05:39.020 assassination of Charlie Kirk because they think it'll just blow over. They're all worked up now
00:05:44.680 if it'll blow over. Just like all the, just like everything else that you know is wrong with the
00:05:48.680 country, they're just going to tap you along. What they're, they're tapping President Trump along
00:05:52.000 right now. They're tapping President Trump along. They can't wait. They cannot wait for Trump to leave
00:05:59.800 office. It's going to all revert back. Wait for it. You can see it happening right now.
00:06:06.320 They're doing everything to stall.
00:06:07.340 ...
00:06:15.300 ...
00:06:17.860 ...
00:06:18.100 ...
00:06:19.880 ...
00:06:26.920 Thank you.
00:06:56.920 Thank you.
00:07:26.920 Thank you.
00:07:56.920 You're not going to stop that, but you're not going to stop it. It's going to happen.
00:07:59.500 And where do people like that go to share the big line? Mega Media.
00:08:04.240 I wish in my soul, I wish that any of these people had a conscience.
00:08:09.640 Ask yourself, what is my task and what is my purpose?
00:08:13.440 If that answer is to save my country, this country will be saved.
00:08:19.620 War Room. Here's your host, Stephen K.
00:08:22.700 Bannon.
00:08:23.060 It's Wednesday, 17th, September in the year of our Lord, 2025.
00:08:32.800 The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, is in England with the King.
00:08:37.580 At Windsor Castle, you saw the very moving reception for President got in last night, but he actually got over to the castle today for a formal reception.
00:08:48.580 They played the Star Spangled Banner.
00:08:50.280 So President Trump is in England for the second state visit, the only president ever to get two.
00:08:54.920 He's there, I guess, through tomorrow night or, yeah, tomorrow night because he's back on Friday.
00:09:03.440 Cash Patel is at the House Judiciary.
00:09:06.500 They're going to do oversight on the FBI.
00:09:08.220 Yesterday you saw fireworks, the most intense fireworks I've ever seen, I think historically, maybe before the Civil War, but I'm not so sure even then.
00:09:16.620 A senior government official blowing back hard on these out-of-control left-wing Democrat senators, and I should say that if we were moving the project along, take apart the deep state, and got subpoenas going, and DOJ, we were on top of things with U.S. attorneys, shifty shift would not be there.
00:09:36.720 He'd already been perp-walked.
00:09:37.880 He would not be there to try to trash Cash Patel.
00:09:40.100 Anyway, we're going to go between Cash at House Judiciary, got Dr. Susan, was it Menardes, the fired CDC director that was only there for 30 days after her confirmation.
00:09:50.360 She's in front of the, I think, the Health and Human Services Committee, chaired by Cassidy.
00:09:56.760 She's there to basically say that Bobby Kennedy's the worst person in the world and that all these anti-vax wingnuts are trying to destroy the United States.
00:10:07.060 So we'll get to all that.
00:10:07.860 And also, in and out what the main threat is going to be today is what's happened on Charlie Kirk's assassination.
00:10:15.140 And as importantly, to get to the bottom of it, the designation of these terrorist groups as, wait for it, terrorist groups, so they can be fully investigated.
00:10:26.840 Caitlin Collins last night trying to blow up Todd Blanche on what President Trump threw out, which is RICO investigations, criminal RICO investigations.
00:10:35.840 They're making a big deal about that, that you can't investigate these groups.
00:10:41.080 Although Grassley put out yesterday stunning information about what we knew about, a government, FBI involvement really in the 2020 election in people that were protesting the election fraud of 2020.
00:10:56.760 In particular, they focused on, wait for a turning point in Charlie Kirk and the team, given that Charlie Kirk and those guys were instrumental in the recount, that a flawed recount in Arizona in early 2021.
00:11:10.240 You remember that?
00:11:10.800 I think this file, Arctic Frost, is from 21 and 22, I believe, or 21 maybe to 23, Arctic Frost.
00:11:20.000 Mark Mitchell is going to join us in a little while because the celebration on the left, he just heard, they're taking, they're looking at Democratic politicians and saying, well, they're united in about political violence.
00:11:33.660 No, they're not.
00:11:34.380 No, no, they're not.
00:11:36.020 They are giving the very basic, oh, it's, you know, it's terrible for Charlie with his family and two children.
00:11:43.960 But they are instigating it of these radical groups because these radical groups are also how they get elected.
00:11:52.120 And that's why you got to get in back of the financing.
00:11:54.520 It's, remember, I told you it's three layers of Antifa-like groups or the armed queers of Salt Lake City and all these revolutionary, really paramilitary groups.
00:12:07.160 Now that are part of this radical transgender movement, uh, transgender movement, uh, and are getting more and more radicalized every day, more and more violent every day.
00:12:17.720 They're actually, I think Ben Shapiro, I'm not sure he formally announced it, but I think he, there's some leak or something about he may be delaying some of his college campus tours.
00:12:27.020 And you have some of the most radical groups on Reddit that are sitting there, you know, saying, hey, we told you direct action.
00:12:34.080 Remember, direct action are things like, uh, firebombing, sabotage, uh, and assassinations.
00:12:40.340 It's a revolutionary technique from, uh, from Europe.
00:12:43.100 And you're seeing, uh, you're seeing right now that, uh, they're saying, hey, direct action works.
00:12:48.140 Because Ben Shapiro is talking about maybe delaying somewhat his, uh, his, his campaign.
00:12:52.840 I don't know if that's true, but this is what they're pushing out in Reddit that is a victory for them.
00:12:57.320 Do we have, uh, do we have cash getting, uh, getting lit up?
00:13:02.520 Bernie Sanders.
00:13:03.320 I tell you what, let's go to break anyway.
00:13:04.740 I don't want to blow the break.
00:13:05.640 Let's get, we've got to get some commercial breaks in it because it's going to be intense.
00:13:09.480 I see right there, it's Bernie Sanders.
00:13:11.440 Bernie Sanders glazing, I'm sure, Dr. Susan Monares, who made it for 31 days as head of CDC.
00:13:19.480 We're juggling a lot of balls here in the world this morning.
00:13:21.720 Plus all the analysis and breakdown of what actually is going on in the world.
00:13:27.180 And there's a lot, including capital markets, finance.
00:13:31.580 Today, I think is the deadline for the pushing of the CR.
00:13:34.460 Get ready to, folks, get ready to, um, to, you know, kind of shrug your shoulders and roll your eyes.
00:13:41.900 But we're going to a CR at least to November.
00:13:43.740 If you look at everything that's got to happen in November before Christmas, uh, it's like, you know, 30 major pieces of legislation are coming.
00:13:51.780 CISA, all of it.
00:13:53.280 If they kick the can down the road.
00:13:55.620 One thing you can do is get ahead of it personally.
00:13:58.760 Gold is, you know, every couple of days at an all-time high.
00:14:01.940 Why is that?
00:14:03.520 It's like, forget the price.
00:14:05.600 What is the process?
00:14:08.480 Number one, why has gold been a hedge against times of financial turbulence since the earliest recorded history of mankind?
00:14:16.340 Whether it's the Greeks, the Persians, uh, the Jews, the Romans.
00:14:21.820 Check it all.
00:14:22.640 Why has gold always been a hedge?
00:14:24.740 Why?
00:14:25.220 Ask yourself that.
00:14:26.060 Uh, birchgold.com, promo code BANNON, the end of the dollar empire.
00:14:31.480 We tried to get to the bottom of that as a tool for you to use in your personal financial life, about your country, your politics, all of it.

00:14:45.500 Go check it out today.
00:14:46.880 Short commercial break.
00:14:47.920 Mark Mitchell's going to come in.
00:14:50.520 A lot of ugly stuff going on in the internet against conservatives.
00:14:54.840 Be back in a moment.
00:14:56.060 This July, there is a global summit of BRICS nations in Rio de Janeiro.
00:15:04.820 The block of emerging superpowers, including China, Russia, India, and Persia, are meeting with the goal of displacing the United States dollar as the global currency.
00:15:15.560 They're calling this the Rio Reset.
00:15:18.860 As BRICS nations push forward with their plans, global demand for U.S. dollars will decrease, bringing down the value of the dollar.
00:15:25.280 And your savings.
00:15:27.020 While this transition won't not happen overnight, but trust me, it's going to start in Rio.
00:15:32.880 The Rio Reset in July marks a pivotal moment when BRICS objectives move decisively from a theoretical possibility towards inevitable reality.

00:16:20.680 Do it today.
00:16:21.840 That's the Rio Reset.
00:16:23.680 Text Bannon at 989898 and do it today.
00:16:27.040 Thank you very much, Mr. Chairman, and welcome.
00:16:30.280 Director Patel, you and I have not had the opportunity to meet.
00:16:33.900 And alas, you failed to respond to the eight oversight letters I've sent you over the last seven months.
00:16:39.780 So we do have a lot of questions piling up for you.
00:16:42.020 But I want to start with a word of praise.
00:16:44.000 The first FBI director was J. Edgar Hoover, who steadfastly refused to hire women, African-Americans, and other minorities as agents.
00:16:52.720 And although he was a closeted homosexual who lived in domestic partnership for decades with Clyde Tolson, he also participated in anti-gay crusades.
00:17:03.020 He aggressively promoted what we would today call white Christian nationalism.
00:17:07.200 And he would undoubtedly be turning over in his grave to see as one of his successors a first-generation Indian American and a proud Hindu.
00:17:14.920 So I congratulate you on being a breakthrough in this sense and being a beneficiary of the civil rights movement that opened up the FBI and the federal workforce to lots of people who never would have been hired in its first decades.
00:17:27.960 Alas, you share J. Edgar Hoover's dangerous obsession with blind loyalty over professionalism and effective public policy.
00:17:35.500 For Hoover, it was blind loyalty to him in keeping his secrets.
00:17:39.040 For you, it's blind loyalty to Donald Trump in keeping his secrets.
00:17:42.960 During your confirmation, it was widely noted on all sides that your primary qualification was your unwavering loyalty to Trump.
00:17:50.800 Unlike other directors, you had no work experience at the FBI, but you had made over 1,000 media and political appearances in support of Trump's campaign.
00:17:59.860 Your second confirmation vote was 51 to 49, the closest in history, with your opponents warning you were not qualified and had no interest in actually developing the qualifications for the job.
00:18:10.940 I hoped that they were not, while most other new FBI directors drew on their experience as FBI agents, you didn't have that.
00:18:21.460 But you did write a picture book trilogy for children ages 5 and up based on your experience clashing with President Trump's political enemies.
00:18:32.640 In your book, you describe your literary alter ego, Cash the Knight, as a wacky, easily bored wizard carrying out King Donald's vengeance by driving his enemies out of the kingdom.
00:18:45.540 In the books, King Donald is besieged by the evil Hillary Queentown, but saved in the end by Cash.
00:18:51.860 Then Cash goes on to catch mules who are stealing the 2020 election for the great King Donald from Sleepy Joe.
00:18:58.700 And then in the third book, Cash takes down the dragon of the jalapenos, nicknamed the DOJ.
00:19:06.480 Your supporters had hoped that you would graduate from imagining yourself a romantic fairytale knight to actually running America's premier federal law enforcement agency.
00:19:17.400 Alas, just as we've learned how dangerous it is to put a science-denying anti-vaxxer in charge of our public health,
00:19:24.980 we've learned how dangerous it is to name as director of the FBI a man who thinks of himself as a fairytale knight who keeps a fire-breathing dragon named DOJ at home to forcibly drive villains out of the kingdom.
00:19:38.980 When Charlie Kirk was assassinated, while his killer was still on the loose,
00:19:43.260 you decided you didn't need to be at FBI headquarters in Washington to work with your team while the chaotic manhunt unfolded.
00:19:50.120 You spent your evening dining in a swanky midtown Manhattan restaurant and tweeting out false information that the subject of the shooting was in custody,
00:20:00.040 a statement you had to retract one hour later.
00:20:04.040 Your performance was so disturbing that even the mega-bass was alarmed.
00:20:09.560 Culture warrior Christopher Ruffo, who just a few months ago sat in your chair as a Republican witness,
00:20:14.980 observed that you performed terribly and he called for your ouster.
00:20:18.880 The FBI might be able to survive your delusions of grandeur and the explosively volatile temper that was on display yesterday in the Senate,
00:20:27.440 but the intractable problem is that you are running the FBI not as a law enforcement agency charged with keeping the American people safe,
00:20:34.960 but as a political enforcement agency working directly for the president's vengeance campaign.
00:20:40.260 Seven months in, it's impossible to overstate the destruction, chaos, and demoralization you've brought to the FBI and its workforce
00:20:48.680 and the resulting danger your actions have caused to our country.
00:20:52.940 You've been systematically purging the FBI of its most experienced and qualified agents, division leaders,
00:20:59.660 and experts in counter-terror, counterintelligence, and cybersecurity,
00:21:04.160 precisely the people who have the expertise you lack and which the FBI and the country need.
00:21:10.560 They've been expelled from the ranks of the Bureau simply because they did their duty investigating crimes,
00:21:16.080 including those committed by the mob that attacked the Capitol on January 6th, 2021,
00:21:21.620 and beat the hell out of more than 140 police officers,
00:21:25.180 or simply because you suspected them of being insufficiently loyal to Donald Trump.
00:21:30.580 You illegally sacked Brian Driscoll, the former acting director of the Bureau
00:21:34.900 and a decorated counter-terrorism expert who worked at the FBI for nearly 20 years.
00:21:40.140 According to Driscoll, you told him your own job, quote,
00:21:44.060 depended on the removal of agents who worked on the cases against the president,
00:21:48.500 regardless of whether the agents chose to work on those cases or not.
00:21:52.780 You added, quote, the FBI tried to put the president in jail, and he hasn't forgotten it.
00:21:58.460 He forced out the leader of the Salt Lake City field office, Mehtab Saeed,
00:22:02.380 just weeks before Charlie Kirk's assassination,
00:22:05.380 depriving the FBI of an experienced counter-terrorism expert
00:22:08.980 described by her colleagues as absolutely the best and legendary.
00:22:14.040 She would have led the FBI's manhunt had she not been fired.
00:22:18.280 When Trump decided that rounding up immigrants with no criminal records
00:22:21.580 was more important than preventing crimes,
00:22:24.580 like human trafficking of women and girls, drug dealing, terrorism, and fraud,
00:22:29.300 you ordered the 25 largest field offices to divert thousands of agents away
00:22:34.600 from chasing down violent criminals, sex traffickers, fraudsters, and scammers
00:22:39.700 to carry out this immigration crackdown.
00:22:42.380 Director Patel, you treated the men and women at the FBI with disrespect and paranoia.
00:22:48.740 You've assembled a roving band of freelancing henchmen within your office
00:22:53.180 and charged them with conducting unauthorized investigations,
00:22:57.240 targeting and harassing career FBI employees.
00:23:00.960 Amazingly, you've forced senior leadership to repeatedly take polygraph tests
00:23:05.240 to prove their political loyalty and pushed out leaders who refused these demeaning exercises.
00:23:11.480 And now we're seeing one very clear reason why you want to build a political FBI.
00:23:15.880 The Epstein files, you want an FBI blindly loyal to Trump and to you as his enforcer
00:23:22.280 so you can continue your cover-up of a massive international sex trafficking ring
00:23:28.680 with more than 1,000 victims betraying all of the survivors of the sexual violence.
00:23:35.560 Before you got into this job, you called for full release of Epstein files,
00:23:40.420 telling podcaster Benny Johnson that the only reason the list was not released
00:23:44.440 by DOJ and FBI was, quote, because of who's on that list.
00:23:50.800 Upon your confirmation, you promised that, quote,
00:23:53.520 there will be no cover-ups, no missing documents, no stone left unturned.
00:23:58.040 And anyone from the prior current Bureau who undermines this will be swiftly pursued.
00:24:02.700 This spring, you ordered hundreds of agents to pour over all the Epstein files,
00:24:07.360 but not to look for more clues about the money network or the network of human traffickers.
00:24:12.460 You pulled these agents from their regular counterterrorism or drug trafficking duties
00:24:17.440 to work around the clock, some of them sleeping at their desks to conduct a frantic search
00:24:23.020 to make sure Donald Trump's name and image were flagged and redacted wherever they appeared,
00:24:30.420 whether an email, a text, a letter, an interview, a photograph, or a video.
00:24:34.280 In May, Attorney General Bondi reportedly told Trump that his name had indeed appeared multiple times
00:24:40.740 throughout the Epstein files.
00:24:42.340 And not long thereafter, in July, you and the Attorney General released a memo claiming that, quote,
00:24:47.640 no further disclosure would be appropriate or warranted.
00:24:51.700 In a few short months, how did you go from being a crusader for accountability and transparency
00:24:57.480 for the Epstein files to being a part of the conspiracy and cover-up?
00:25:02.100 The answer is simple. You said it yourself, because of who's on that list.
00:25:07.540 Donald Trump's relationship with Epstein over the years is well documented.
00:25:11.340 A week ago, the Oversight Committee released Trump's disturbing birthday book,
00:25:15.980 Note to Epstein, written over a drawing of a woman's naked body referring to a, quote,
00:25:21.160 wonderful secret.
00:25:22.860 The Oversight Committee obtained the note from the Epstein estate, not from the FBI,
00:25:27.260 raising questions again of whether the FBI has been withholding documents.
00:25:32.280 While you're unleashing the FBI to cater to Trump's desire to shut down the Epstein inquiry,
00:25:38.120 the first nine months of the Trump presidency have seen a spate of political violence
00:25:42.120 and domestic terror events.
00:25:44.160 We saw deadly attacks on political figures on both the left and the right,
00:25:48.480 the brutal assassination of Minnesota Democratic House Speaker Melissa Hortman
00:25:52.580 and her husband in the attempted murder of Democratic State Senator John Hoffman
00:25:56.840 and his wife, who miraculously survived a combined 17 gunshots.
00:26:01.860 We saw an arsonist set Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro's residence on fire.
00:26:06.580 And of course, last week, we saw the horrific, cold-blooded assassination of Charlie Kirk in Utah
00:26:12.340 that has shaken the nation.
00:26:13.520 One minute after Charlie Kirk was shot in the neck, a 16-year-old shooter in Evergreen, Colorado,
00:26:20.680 radicalized by white supremacist ideology online, opened fire and critically wounded two other students
00:26:27.080 at Evergreen High School.
00:26:29.000 We've seen lethal anti-Semitic violence, including the murder of two young Israeli embassy staffers
00:26:34.160 just blocks from the Capitol, and then in the attack on a gathering of Jewish people
00:26:38.420 in support of hostages held in Gaza in Boulder in June.
00:26:42.200 We've seen continued mass shootings at schools, like the domestic terror incident at a Catholic school
00:26:47.440 in Minneapolis last month, which killed two children and wounded 18 others.
00:26:52.180 And in August, the man fired more than 500 bullets at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention,
00:26:57.600 killing a police officer who was a Marine veteran and a father.
00:27:01.420 People like Melissa Hortman and Charlie Kirk should be able to participate in politics
00:27:06.260 as elected officials or active citizens without being shot down in cold blood in the United States of America.
00:27:13.820 People should also be able to go to elementary school, to middle school, to high school, to work,
00:27:19.500 to the mall and to church without being shot down in explosions of gun violence.
00:27:25.840 The important position at the FBI requires a leader who puts public safety and national security
00:27:32.640 and the rule of law first.
00:27:35.020 I'm afraid, Director Patel, you've given us reason to believe you've used the powers of the FBI
00:27:39.340 to serve Donald Trump and his agenda of partisan retribution.
00:27:44.460 You've broken your promise not to do that.
00:27:46.720 You've betrayed Jeffrey Epstein's victims and survivors.
00:27:49.920 You've turned your back on the career law enforcement officers of the FBI.
00:27:53.580 And as a result, you've left all of us less safe than before.
00:28:00.160 Mr. Chairman, I yield back.
00:28:02.240 Chairman yields back.
00:28:03.180 That opening statement may have been longer than you.
00:28:04.640 Okay.
00:28:05.580 Okay, we're going to go to a short commercial break right there.
00:28:07.840 You saw it.
00:28:09.240 Raskin is the ranking member of the committee.
00:28:11.860 He's framing this that cash is the enforcer, the political enforcer for President Trump.
00:28:17.080 Nothing can be farther from the truce.
00:28:18.500 Expect fireworks in the House.
00:28:20.000 We're going to cover it all.
00:28:20.760 Also, we've got an opening statement over at the fire director of CDC.
00:28:25.160 It's on fire this morning on Capitol.
00:28:27.320 If you're a homeowner, you need to listen to this.

00:28:55.380 You won't even know it's happened until you get a collection or foreclosure notice.
00:29:01.880 So let me ask you, when was the last time you personally checked your home title?

00:30:42.260 Let's go to the Senate because the fired CDC director of 31 days is going off on Bobby Kennedy.
00:30:49.720 Let's hit it.
00:30:50.260 Is your microphone on?
00:31:04.360 Is this on?
00:31:08.620 I believe it's on.
00:31:09.520 Can you hear me?
00:31:10.940 Yeah.
00:31:11.360 Close to the mic.
00:31:11.940 Chairman Cassidy, Ranking Member Sanders, and distinguished members of this committee.
00:31:26.320 Thank you for the opportunity to testify before you again.
00:31:29.500 My name is Susan Monares, and I am a microbiologist and immunologist.
00:31:36.820 Exactly 12 weeks ago, in this same room, I testified that if confirmed, I would lead the CDC to restore public trust,
00:31:48.780 modernize public health infrastructure, and strengthen the agency's core mission of protecting Americans
00:31:55.720 from infectious diseases and emerging threats.
00:32:01.000 I was honored to be nominated by President Trump and confirmed with the Senate support.
00:32:09.240 Secretary Kennedy himself swore me in on July 31st, calling me a public health expert with unimpeachable scientific credentials.
00:32:20.240 My tenure as CDC director lasted 29 days.
00:32:23.800 Since my removal, several explanations have been offered, that I told the secretary I would resign,
00:32:32.920 that I was not aligned with the administration priorities, or that I was untrustworthy.
00:32:42.060 None of those reflect what actually happened.
00:32:46.120 I will share the details, but I want to be clear.
00:32:50.400 Today should not be about me.
00:32:55.080 Today should be about the future of trust in public health.
00:33:05.680 The events leading to my dismissal began weeks before August 25th.
00:33:10.600 On August 2nd, I learned from media reports that experts serving as liaison representatives
00:33:19.320 to the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, the ACIP,
00:33:24.520 including those from major medical societies, had been removed from its working groups.
00:33:30.180 The following week, I heard concerns that the ACIP might alter childhood vaccine schedule at its September meeting,
00:33:39.560 potentially without credible supporting data.
00:33:43.060 On August 8th, a gunman, driven by vaccine distrust,
00:33:49.580 fired 180 rounds into CDC headquarters in Atlanta,
00:33:56.040 killing Officer David Rose.
00:34:01.880 In the days after the attack, I focused on security,
00:34:08.260 staff, and ensuring the CDC could continue its mission.
00:34:13.140 On August 19th, I received a directive from the Secretary's office
00:34:19.480 that I now required prior approval from my political staff
00:34:23.760 for CDC policy and personnel decisions.
00:34:27.880 On August 21st, I was told to return to Washington from Atlanta immediately,
00:34:33.900 which would have meant missing Officer Rose's memorial,
00:34:38.600 something I was not willing to do.
00:34:41.200 When I did return, I was concerned about my ability to continue to lead the CDC
00:34:47.960 while preserving evidence-based decision-making,
00:34:51.580 commitments I had made to this committee during my confirmation hearing.
00:34:58.340 On the morning of August 25th, Secretary Kennedy demanded two things of me
00:35:03.520 that were inconsistent with my oath of office
00:35:06.400 and the ethics required of a public official.
00:35:11.200 He directed me to commit in advance to approving every ACIP recommendation,
00:35:17.960 regardless of the scientific evidence.
00:35:23.200 He also directed me to dismiss career officials responsible for vaccine policy without cause.
00:35:30.580 He said if I was unwilling to do both, I should resign.
00:35:36.340 I responded that I could not pre-approve recommendations without reviewing the evidence,
00:35:42.420 and I had no basis to fire scientific experts.
00:35:45.720 He told me he had already spoken with the White House several times about having me removed.
00:35:52.740 For three decades, I have worked at the intersection of public health, science, and technology innovation,
00:36:01.300 always challenging the status quo and welcoming the changes that come from research and discovery.
00:36:07.260 Even under pressure, I could not replace evidence with ideology or compromise my integrity.
00:36:16.020 Dr. Morniz, you're almost out of time.
00:36:18.420 I'll be generous, but if you could speed up just a little.
00:36:21.980 Vaccine policy must be guided by credible data, not predetermined outcomes.
00:36:25.940 As I wrote in my September 4th Wall Street Journal op-ed, I agree with President Trump.
00:36:31.340 We should not hesitate to ask for proof about our vaccines,
00:36:34.920 and I also agree with his most recent comments that vaccines are not controversial because they work.
00:36:41.060 Demanding evidence is exactly what I was doing when I insisted CDC recommendations be based on credible science.
00:36:48.060 I was never misaligned with the administration priorities.
00:36:50.860 The goals Secretary Kennedy recently cited publicly, protecting the public from threats, building infrastructure,
00:36:57.400 modernizing systems, investing in the workforce, and enhancing scientific rigor were the same priorities
00:37:02.780 I articulated at my confirmation hearing and began advancing during my short tenure.
00:37:09.040 I remain supportive of those priorities.
00:37:11.140 The question is whether they can be achieved without the expertise required at CDC.
00:37:15.580 Regarding trustworthiness, I cannot define that word for Secretary Kennedy.
00:37:21.840 I made commitments to this committee that I would lead with integrity, transparency, purpose,
00:37:27.320 and work with Congress to maximize health outcomes and protect the American people.
00:37:32.300 Secretary Kennedy told me he could not trust me.
00:37:35.920 I had refused to commit to approving vaccine recommendations without evidence,
00:37:39.780 fire career officials without cause, or resign,
00:37:43.180 and I had shared my concerns with this committee.
00:37:46.360 I told the Secretary that if he believed he could not trust me, he could fire me.
00:37:52.040 The next day I was told I still had my job, but the Secretary's expectations remained,
00:37:57.640 approval of ACIP recommendations and dismissal of career scientists.
00:38:02.020 I would not commit to that, and I believe it is the true reason I was fired.
00:38:06.880 Tomorrow the reconstituted ACIP will meet.
00:38:09.420 Its composition has already raised concerns from the medical community.
00:38:13.560 Based on what I observed during my tenure, there is a real risk that recommendations could be made
00:38:18.320 restricting access to vaccines for children and others in need without rigorous scientific review.
00:38:24.440 With no permanent CDC director in place, those recommendations could be adopted.
00:38:29.760 The stakes are not theoretical.
00:38:31.880 We already have seen the largest measles outbreak in more than 30 years,
00:38:35.860 which claimed the lives of two children.
00:38:37.520 If vaccine protections are weakened, preventable diseases will return.
00:38:42.840 I was fired for holding the line on scientific integrity, but that line does not disappear with me.
00:38:48.260 It now runs through every parent deciding whether to vaccinate a child,
00:38:51.900 every physician counseling a patient, and every American who demands accountability.
00:38:57.500 I want to end where I began with my confirmation hearing.
00:39:00.520 I spoke then about the value of hard work, paying my own way through college,
00:39:06.240 and my lifelong dedication to science and public health.
00:39:10.140 On August 25th, I could have stayed silent, agreed to the demands, and no one would have known.
00:39:18.340 What the public would have seen were scientists dismissed without cause,
00:39:22.400 and vaccine protections quietly eroded,
00:39:24.760 all under the authority of a Senate-confirmed director with unimpeachable credentials.
00:39:31.040 I could have kept the office, the title,
00:39:33.660 but I would have lost the one thing that cannot be replaced, my integrity.
00:39:39.320 Some may question my motives or mischaracterize my words that that is part of public life,
00:39:44.580 but I am not here as a politician.
00:39:46.700 I am here as a scientist, a public servant, and a parent,
00:39:50.220 committed to protecting the health of future generations.
00:39:54.680 The question before us is whether we will keep faith with our children and grandchildren,
00:40:00.180 ensuring they remain safe from the diseases we fought so hard to defeat,
00:40:04.700 polio, measles, diphtheria, whooping cough, and many others.
00:40:09.000 Undoing that progress would not only be reckless,
00:40:11.320 it would betray every family that trusts us to protect their health.
00:40:14.840 Thank you, and I look forward to your questions.
00:40:17.100 Thank you.
00:40:17.600 Dr. Howard?
00:40:17.980 Okay, okay.
00:40:19.840 It's very simple.
00:40:20.740 Let me bring in Mark Mitchell, because you've done polling on this.
00:40:23.120 I had you here for the Charlie Kirk assassination,
00:40:25.880 the dark underbelly of it, and we're going to get to that in a moment,
00:40:28.300 but let me be blunt.
00:40:29.340 She called Bobby Kennedy, and Bobby Kennedy's narrative of what happened,
00:40:34.300 she's calling him a stone-cold liar.
00:40:36.120 Am I missing that, Mark Mitchell?
00:40:40.200 I don't want to listen to the tears and whinging of somebody that went and did a job,
00:40:44.840 got fired because they were found wanting.
00:40:46.640 She's a nobody, and whoever invited her to Congress really needs to reconsider what they're doing.
00:40:51.460 You know what I heard?
00:40:52.320 I heard an alternative set of information.
00:40:55.760 I heard her say, no, we need to use evidence-based, but they want their evidence.
00:40:59.880 There's a $1.5 trillion industry, and they are going to resist changes to the status quo with every fiber of their being.
00:41:06.840 And I trust RFK, since he's spent his entire life fighting people like this,
00:41:12.360 to spot the ideological rot the instant they see it, and I suspect that that's what's happened.
00:41:17.180 Now, she cried big crocodile tears about the two children that died from this measles outbreak that had less than 1,500 people.
00:41:25.060 What about the vaccine?
00:41:26.360 That's my question.
00:41:27.920 I didn't hear anything about that, an evidence-based science, because Americans are super freaking concerned about the vaccine.
00:41:36.580 And as you all, your audience knows this, Steve, because you're the only one that had us on, except for a few others, to talk about COVID vaccine polling.
00:41:44.340 But this is not going away.
00:41:46.360 The last time we asked it was just a week ago.
00:41:49.480 How likely is it that side effects of COVID-19 vaccines have caused a significant number of unexplained deaths?
00:41:55.800 32% vary, 24% somewhat.
00:41:58.360 That's 56% of the electorate.
00:42:01.000 Only 35% say not likely.
00:42:02.880 Only 17% say not at all likely.
00:42:05.620 46% of Democrats think that the COVID vaccine is killing people.
00:42:09.640 And we saw all the videos, young people dropping dead on soccer fields and people presenting the news, keeling over.
00:42:15.460 So don't tell us about these two kids that died of measles.
00:42:18.340 What about all of the kids that have this massive childhood vaccine schedule?
00:42:22.840 And so fine, like, sign R, get the hell out.
00:42:25.400 I hope RFK hires somebody that's a little bit more aggressive about this.
00:42:29.600 I mean, because we even polled specifically on this lady getting fired.
00:42:34.660 RFK Jr. is the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
00:42:37.120 He has been highly critical about how government health officials handled the COVID-19 pandemic, which is closer to your opinion.
00:42:45.300 His criticism is unfair, only 37%.
00:42:50.860 Government health officials deserve criticism for how they handled the pandemic, 50%.
00:42:55.620 And then do some CDC officials involved in government COVID-19 response deserve to be fired?
00:43:01.420 Now, I guess she wasn't involved in the response.
00:43:03.480 But, you know, sometimes you just got to be the scapegoat.
00:43:05.980 So 42% yes, 41% no, 67% of Republicans, only 20% Republicans no.
00:43:11.820 If they can't, sitting there in their comfortable establishment, understand the concerns of the voters and align themselves to the new direction of the country, I don't think the people are going to tolerate crap like this much more.
00:43:23.560 And you saw the same thing out of Jamie Raskin.
00:43:25.760 That was a beautiful work of gaslighting.
00:43:27.940 I do not believe he wrote that himself.
00:43:29.560 Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on.
00:43:33.120 I'm going to get to Raskin in a minute because it's too good to pass up on.
00:43:36.480 A $1.5 trillion industry is not going to go down without a fight, folks.
00:43:40.660 Short break.
00:43:41.700 Mark Mitchell on the other side.
00:43:42.820 What if he had the brightest mind in the war room delivering critical financial research every month?
00:43:54.940 Steve Bannon here.
00:43:56.080 War Room listeners know Jim Rickards.
00:43:57.740 I love this guy.
00:43:59.160 He's our wise man.
00:44:00.120 A former CIA, Pentagon, and White House advisor with an unmatched grasp of geopolitics and capital markets, Jim predicted Trump's Electoral College victory exactly 312 to 226, down to the actual number itself.
00:44:16.180 Now he's issuing a dire warning about April 11th, a moment that could define Trump's presidency in your financial future.
00:44:23.240 His latest book, Money GPT, exposes how AI is setting the stage for financial chaos, bank runs at lightning speeds, algorithm-driven crashes, and even threats to national security.
00:44:35.460 Right now, War Room members get a free copy of Money GPT when they sign up for Strategic Intelligence.
00:44:42.040 This is Jim's flagship financial newsletter, Strategic Intelligence.
00:44:46.860 I read it.
00:44:47.960 You should read it.
00:44:48.960 Time is running out.
00:44:49.880 Go to RickardsWarRoom.com.
00:44:51.660 That's all one word, Rickards War Room, Rickards with an S.
00:44:54.940 Go now and claim your free book.
00:44:57.500 That's RickardsWarRoom.com.
00:44:59.880 Do it today.
00:45:02.160 Look, this is the debate over changing the childhood schedule.
00:45:06.920 The hepatitis B vaccine on the schedule is given to newborns.
00:45:10.500 What is the medical scientific reason and proof for giving a newborn a hepatitis B vaccine if the mom is hep B negative?
00:45:21.660 I want to go back to the assertion associated.
00:45:24.280 What is the medical reason for giving a hepatitis B vaccine to a newborn?
00:45:28.520 See, everybody's like blithely going along.
00:45:30.640 We can't change the childhood.
00:45:32.420 You're somehow terrible if you want to change the childhood.
00:45:34.860 We should be discussing what is the childhood vaccine schedule.
00:45:39.060 And you should be, the burden should be on you.
00:45:41.980 You want to make all the kids take this?
00:45:43.540 The burden is upon you and the people you wouldn't fire to prove to us that we need to give our six-month-old a COVID vaccine and that we need to give our one-day-old a hepatitis B vaccine.
00:45:54.080 That's what the debate ought to be about, not whether all vaccines are good or whether we live in Alice in the Wonderland.
00:45:59.420 I actually agree with you.
00:46:01.180 And I was open to the science.
00:46:02.980 I just would not pre-commit to approving all the ACIP recommendations without the science.
00:46:09.360 Untrue.
00:46:15.080 Is the witness allowed to answer that question or do I have to use my time?
00:46:21.420 Did you answer the question?
00:46:23.680 Do you have more to say, Dr. Moneris?
00:46:26.640 I just, the last thing I wanted to say about those scientists, we had never discussed any of their thoughts, considerations.
00:46:34.480 We being we, who is we?
00:46:35.920 Me and the scientists that I was being asked to dismiss.
00:46:39.300 As far as I know, they had never said that they are pre-committed to maintaining any of the decisions that had been made.
00:46:47.840 All of us had agreed that the science evolves and we need to see the data and the evidence to ensure that we are protecting our children.
00:46:55.860 Okay.
00:46:57.000 Senator Murray.
00:46:57.800 Thank you, Mr. Chairman.
00:46:59.820 In May, Secretary Clinton.
00:47:00.720 Let me have it.
00:47:01.100 Right there, Rand Paul, and this is what it's about.
00:47:03.700 He narrows it down to what we got to get our arms around because if he changed that, you can change everything.
00:47:09.200 And Senator Paul knows about leverage given his medical thing.
00:47:13.040 He called her a bald-faced liar.
00:47:15.680 Mark Mitchell, right there.
00:47:17.800 That's the drama, but they're trying to tap dance around it.
00:47:21.040 He gets right to the bottom line and ask her about the science.
00:47:23.980 She's touting, oh, it's all science.
00:47:25.600 We got the science and I just support scientists.
00:47:27.600 She won't answer a basic question because Mark Mitchell tells us it's a $1.5 trillion industry that the populist movement right there,
00:47:40.360 the movement that has changed American history, is demanding that this stop.
00:47:47.820 And I'm telling you, this is one of the most important battles going on.
00:47:51.460 Mark Mitchell.
00:47:53.480 Health care is going to be the death of our republic.
00:47:56.400 That's essentially where we're at.
00:47:57.820 We already spent 21% of our GDP on this, highly taxpayer-funded because of Medicare and Medicaid promises.
00:48:03.840 And I did a little bit of research with AI and went back and said, you know what, if they had capped those programs back in 1970 at the percent of GDP they were then,
00:48:13.540 what would our government, total government debt be right now?
00:48:16.060 It would be $11 trillion, not $30 whatever the frick trillion it is now.
00:48:20.440 And what we haven't even been through, a population collapse.
00:48:23.700 How is this current generation that can't even get started in life?
00:48:26.920 How are they going to support all of the failing boomers?
00:48:30.220 It's not going to happen.
00:48:31.020 We are going to die and there needs to be really hard choices for that to happen.
00:48:35.180 And we can't even have a hard choice about childhood vaccines.
00:48:38.180 The U.S. vaccine market is $33 billion and they're going to fight tooth and nail to defend it.
00:48:43.540 And you and I both know that the way science works, I'm not an immunologist, but they find the thinnest proof they can that, oh, well, there's nothing to see here.
00:48:52.260 And then all of a sudden all these kids are shot full of thomiscerol.
00:48:54.860 And RFK Jr. is the only person, as far as I know, who is really putting effort and money behind asking those questions.
00:49:02.040 So I applaud him and I think Americans would, too.
00:49:04.540 Here are two horrifying numbers, again, that that woman, the doctor, could have referred to from our polling if she had wanted to.
00:49:12.520 So 28 percent of Americans think it's at least somewhat likely that somebody they know personally died from the side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine.
00:49:22.480 And then we ask another question set.
00:49:24.480 Has somebody in your family died from the COVID-19 vaccine?
00:49:28.180 And has somebody in your family, you suspect, died of side effects of the COVID-19 vaccine?
00:49:33.060 11 percent say someone in their household died of the virus.
00:49:37.360 10 percent say somebody died from side effects of the vaccine.
00:49:41.160 So now you can't draw – it's not apples to apples.
00:49:43.580 We can't come down to an exact number of deaths.
00:49:45.820 But the implication is Americans think that there are hundreds of thousands of deaths in America from this vaccine that was forced on Americans as a experimental therapeutic that Bill Gates was slobbering over himself to put into the arms of American children.
00:50:03.920 They wanted pregnant women shot with this.
00:50:06.680 And now they're rolling it back bit by bit.
00:50:09.460 If this isn't the number one thing that there are torches and pitchforks for, I don't know what.
00:50:14.440 And if the government, if the Republicans, if the people now at the head of these organizations do not have the resolve to stand on the line over this thing that now 56 percent of Americans agree that the vaccine is likely killing a significant number of people in America, then I don't know what we're doing as a republic because the voters are never going to get what they want.
00:50:35.140 And that brings us to a dark place.
00:50:38.880 Mark, hang on.
00:50:40.040 I'm going to hold you through the – I'm going to hold you through the topic.
00:50:42.220 We've got a lot to go through on this assassination.
00:50:44.440 Jamie Raskin is also hitting cash again with the blowtorch.
00:50:47.800 We're going to get back to that.
00:50:49.540 Mark Mitchell is going to talk about what nobody else is talking about is Reddit.
00:50:53.320 So today we're talking about the structure of these Internet companies and the depths and darkness that abides there for – how do I say this?
00:51:03.560 Capturing our youth and turning them into demons.
00:51:07.060 The stuff you're going to see and hear.
00:51:08.620 And right now it's revolutionary.
00:51:09.980 It can be taken away without stopping free speech.
00:51:15.200 What you can do is designate these groups as terrorist organizations, get into it, see who's driving these messages, see who – not just the frontline grundoons, the hoplites, which they have in droves and they're recruiting more every day, but the people financing it, the people making money off it.
00:51:31.420 The true power in the country and the world.
00:51:34.200 We're going to get to all that.
00:51:34.920 Two things.
00:51:36.620 Mark Mitchell talking about $32 trillion in debt and not $11 trillion.
00:51:40.800 That means the IRS, whatever the administration is, needs every penny they can get and they're coming looking at you.
00:51:47.740 If you have failed to file a late filing, if you've got a letter from the IRS, don't let it sit in the drawer and metastasize.
