00:30:50.780 ships that that pass uh through that area they when the war first started when the conflict

00:30:57.400 first started between the United States and Iran, the Houthis, like all the other Iran allies,

00:31:12.420 engagements over the last five months, and then they were quiet, actually wrote some pieces on

00:33:21.360 Iranians because they're getting weapons and funding, right, and not being driven off the

00:33:26.560 Arabian Peninsula. But one of the reasons that they're now in the fight, don't they see the

00:33:30.840 fact that we've got two carrier battle groups up there with no support from Europe, no rural

00:33:35.380 Navy support, no French Navy, no Italian Navy. We've got two carrier battle groups that President

00:33:39.900 Trump has said, hey, I'm locked in on that naval blockade. Isn't this going to take us getting

00:33:44.620 another carrier battle group over there to free this up? And they gave as good as they got last

00:33:49.880 summer, sir. Your thoughts? Yeah, no, I agree with everything you said. And the issue with

00:33:56.440 this conflict, both with the Houthis and with Iran, is that it lends itself to asymmetric

00:34:01.240 warfare. You know, it doesn't take many mines to be released or many drone attacks to make a

00:34:08.120 straight impassable. And you can launch these things from, you know, rubber boats or fishing

00:34:13.320 boats or small, you know, tiny, tiny boat, pretty much anything that floats. So this is a real

00:34:18.600 problem. If they had a Navy and they launched their formal Navy against our Navy, obviously

00:34:23.480 they would just get decimated. But the problem is that you would have to stop every single small

00:34:29.340 boat from going out in the ocean and you'd have to recover every mine that they lay, which is also

00:34:34.400 very difficult to do. So that is one reason why they've been successful, why they've been able

00:34:39.080 to survive. And as you said, they're also tough and they're entrenched. And an interesting point

00:34:44.420 you made, though, was about allies. And I totally agree with you that Iran, actually, that whole

00:34:50.240 axis, they're not really allies. It's just that some of their objectives align, particularly when

00:34:56.680 they're opposing the United States and or Israel. Then they align and they kind of work together and

00:35:02.280 support each other. But they're not true allies, which would also explain why the Houthis stayed

00:35:07.560 out of the early part of the war. But you're also right that now that we're spread out thin, a lot

00:35:12.200 of the world believes that we're spread thin and things bad things are going to start happening

00:35:16.060 all over the world because we can't respond to them hang on for one second i'm bringing records

00:35:21.620 uh and by the way the piece is great i want mo and elizabeth grace push it out i want everybody

00:35:31.600 edge analysis um i also want to remind people the first week this is what a tenuous grip the

00:35:38.260 American military and intelligence community have on this area of the world. The very first week of

00:35:43.020 President Trump's or the first two weeks of President Trump's first term. If you remember,

00:35:47.840 the military wanted to go in with this special forces thing with some sort of operation that

00:35:52.580 would help the combat aircraft, I think of the Saudis, get better targeting, etc. And that was

00:35:58.460 where we lost, I think, a couple of the Navy SEALs. President Trump went to Dover. It was

00:36:04.060 I think the father said some terrible things about the president.

00:36:07.820 The president did have members of the family come to that first, not State of the Union,

00:36:13.020 but that first speech they do in the first couple of weeks after the inauguration,

00:36:17.440 which is to the address to update a joint session of Congress.

00:41:51.580 casualties, but you could do it. Now, here's the news. The US has deployed the B-1 bomber.

00:41:57.620 Now, it's interesting. Again, it was there before, but it's come back. Interesting in a couple of

00:42:01.720 respects. B-1 is not a stealth bomber, but it has a huge payload, 24 2,000-pound bombs or dozens of

00:42:14.360 means we're not worried about Iranian anti-aircraft capability. It doesn't exist. But this is not the

00:42:38.280 doing. Okay. So if you're softening up, what's the main strike? What's it going to be? And here's

00:42:43.140 the new news. The US finally, finally deployed a hypersonic missile. It's called the Dark Eagle.

00:42:55.260 There's 2,175 miles or 2,000, well, a little over 2,000 miles.
