00:03:42.060That's him understanding how common sense and common ground results in the common good for America.
00:03:48.940Fellow Texans, let's do our civic duty and elect Ken Paxton as our next U.S. Senator.
00:03:55.180He is a proven patriot who knows that God is almighty.
00:03:59.440Ken Paxton was at my side more than anybody.0.99
00:04:02.600and I have to always remember that because he could be a pain in the ass sometimes I'll be honest0.97
00:04:08.380is he here by the way oh there he is good I didn't even know if he's here I don't care I just0.97
00:04:14.060I would say the same thing whether the guy is the greatest attorney general in the United States of
00:04:20.080America look at all that look at all the fake news back there I'm really I'm saying because
00:04:29.220We got to get this guy elected. You got a freako. So we all agree that voting is important.
00:04:36.780Number one, we all agree that at the War Department, we serve the best citizens in the
00:04:41.500country, those who wear the uniform. Number two. So how about we make sure those who serve our
00:04:46.800country have every single opportunity to vote? Makes sense to me. Therefore, I'm directing all
00:04:54.020commanders and supervisors at all levels across this department to conduct a one-day stand-down
00:05:01.000during the month of October, beginning this year and continuing every election year. This year
00:05:06.600will execute the stand-down no later than October 15th. You see, there's plenty of precedence for
00:05:13.440this. In fact, in February of 2021, under the Biden administration, then Secretary of Defense
00:05:21.680Lloyd Austin mandated a urgent training standout. He paused training operations and exercises to
00:05:30.140address a vaguely defined but urgent extremism problem. I remember it, patriot extremism.
00:05:37.840Well, as I've stated before, this is a new and apolitical war department with all the right
00:05:45.480priorities. Under the leadership of President Trump, we're upholding things that are central
00:05:51.420to the defense of our republic and our American way of life. And we're doing this because in the
00:05:57.480past, voting for our men and women in uniform has been time-consuming and complex as many warriors
00:06:03.860reside outside of their home state for obvious reasons. They face unnecessary, difficult ways
00:06:09.140of obtaining, completing, and returning absentee ballots while serving far from home. Now, we're
00:06:14.760not telling you who to vote for, but we will give you every opportunity to do so. It's then up to
00:06:21.320you to exercise your right as an American to choose your elected leaders. Voting is the way
00:06:27.380our founding fathers envisioned every citizen's ability to participate in government. We're going
00:06:32.820to take the time to ensure that you can vote and that your voice is heard. You are the best
00:06:38.300citizens of our country, and therefore you should have every opportunity to exercise your right to
00:06:43.880vote. So take that day to fill out your absentee ballot, help your family members do the same or
00:06:49.520go to the polling place yourself and exercise your right to vote. It's about time we prioritize that
00:06:54.380in this department and we're fixing it right here, right now. Welcome Friday to October in the year
00:07:01.200of our Lord, 2026. There's a lot to get to the day and we're going to get to all of it. Natalie
00:07:06.500Winters is going to join us in the second hour and also Chris Leonard from the Lords of Easy
00:07:11.920money will be here uh chris we hopefully uh i think we worked out he'll be in house we've got
00:07:17.000the first hour of the show is going to be lit um i've got the filmmakers that made that tremendous
00:07:22.400spot for uh ken paxton and they're going to tell us they're talking to us about um political uh
00:07:29.280filmmaking what i call it not commercial but that was a film because it's not a 30 second spot it's
00:07:33.760not a 60 second spot i think you're seeing a noticeable shift this is all going to come down
00:07:40.080to what we've been saying for a long time. Can MAGA get the enthusiasm, the energy,
00:07:46.740the stick-to-itiveness, the grit to roll our sleeves up and to finish what we started?
00:07:56.140Understanding that there are a lot of concerns about the direction of certain things.
00:08:03.820Jay Clayton, I think, has been leaked that Jay Clayton is now being tipped for the head of
00:08:08.800artificial intelligence as you know i think jay clayton is a great lawyer i think he's fantastic
00:08:13.360at uh at sullivan and cromwell you know i don't know why how an alibaba uh general counsel that
00:08:21.920got him through an ipo can uh which is a military information network for the chinese communist
00:08:28.440party how alibaba and an and a um uh our surveillance apparatus could be director of
00:08:35.580national intelligence but hey you know i'm just some mick yelling into a microphone uh jay clayton's
00:08:41.780over dni i haven't seen a declassification not one since bill pulte left just saying just saying
00:08:48.880we're gonna have john solomon on next week i think we've got some pretty big developments
00:08:53.440across the board in certain areas john solomon's task force but he doesn't have a wingman right
00:08:58.700now because pulte's not there declassifying now jay clayton's the head of artificial intelligence
00:09:04.140are going to be the czar. My recommendation is, hey, maybe the czar is a full-time gig because
00:09:10.160it is a monumentally important topic. And maybe it's time to bring Pulte, get him up in the
00:09:16.740bullpen. Let's start warming. Let's start loosening up Pulte for maybe a redeployment or another
00:09:22.500assignment. I want to go to Pete Hegseth. We finished there. Mark Lucas is going to join us
00:09:28.000Now, in 18, I think I've got this right.
00:09:31.980I haven't checked here, but because this just came up with Pete announcing a stand down, a full day, I think October 15th, for the entire military to get focused on, if they so desire, to make sure they have the time to do it right, to fill out their applications and make sure they vote.
00:09:50.260I look back in American history, and let's give you a little history.
00:09:53.820i think it was in mid-august of 1864 people don't realize that uh abraham lincoln did not run the
00:10:04.420second time really as a republican uh they dumped uh the governor of maine who was republican off
00:10:10.380the ticket from the from the first time they dumped him lincoln ran with a um with a union
00:10:16.940democrat from east tennessee andrew johnson and because he was running against his former
00:10:23.160field commander of the Union Army, George McClellan. And McClellan was saying, hey, we've got to bring
00:10:29.760this war to an end. We're not going to be able to see this through. Lincoln's mismanaged this war
00:10:34.480and we've got to bring it to an end. And in the summer of 1864, even post Gettysburg or Antietam
00:10:43.780in Gettysburg, and particularly the Overland campaign that was with Grant in charge, which
00:10:50.240was so bloody and the casualties were so high in fact a cold harbor where it ended outside of
00:10:56.340richmond uh they would not they suppressed the information i think they lost 7 000 men in 30
00:11:02.080minutes one of the great slaughters of the american army they suppressed that information
00:11:07.280from the new york uh what herald tribune in the new york times all of it because they knew that
00:11:12.800grant would probably be relieved for cause the siege of richmond was there it looked like the
00:11:18.020war, is that a stalemate? And Lincoln wrote a, with Seward, his great, you know, secretary of
00:11:24.400state and really his wingman, the guy that, you know, a team of rivals that thought he was going
00:11:29.220to get the nomination in 1860, did not enter the cabinet. It's thinking Lincoln is a buffoon0.98
00:11:35.340from Illinois, some low-life railroad lawyer, and Seward being one of the smartest lawyers in the0.91
00:11:40.840country, he and Stanton, secretary of war. They wrote a memo, Lincoln drafted a memo that he
00:11:47.000presented to the cabinet and the memo said we've engaged in a great undertaking here
00:11:55.660and it is our responsibility and our duty to finish this and mcclellan can say anything he
00:12:03.120wants but we're going to finish this and it implied and scholars it implied that in march
00:12:09.100of the following year if he was to lose it was left uncertain they talk about trump on january
00:12:14.440Lincoln left it quite uncertain of whether he was going to turn over power or not if the war
00:12:20.760was not brought to a successful conclusion. This is why he was a warlord. And Seward and how did
00:12:27.800they do that? Ask Mike Davis. Seward and Lincoln, how did they run the war as a warlord? The inherent
00:12:34.060powers of Article II, particularly as commander-in-chief. Well, a couple weeks later,
00:12:42.220William Tecumseh Sherman took Atlanta, I think on September 4th. And with the fall of Atlanta
00:12:50.960and the way that was greeted by the northern press and the way there's greeted by the northern
00:12:56.140people, it was overwhelming that now you could see the Confederacy could be brought. And that's
00:13:04.260where Sherman got ready to do the march to the sea, to break the Confederacy. With Atlanta in
00:13:13.560Sherman's hands, the mood changed dramatically. But Lincoln said, you know what? Here's what we're
00:13:23.400going to do with the postmaster general and with the secretary of war. I want to make sure the
00:13:28.280troops who are in the field, their vote, all votes are equal, but their votes are most important.
00:13:33.280And I want to make sure every person gets a chance to vote because at the end of the day, a spiritual connection existed not really with McClellan somewhat, but really with Lincoln overall, particularly since McClellan had gone.
00:13:46.940And guess what? The troops voted overwhelmingly, I think like 90 percent or higher, to keep Abraham Lincoln as president of the United States.
00:13:57.000At the end, it was not a close race, and it looked like in mid-August0.99
00:14:00.320that Blinken was not just going to lose, he was going to get his ass whooped.0.99
00:14:05.100Pete Hegseth threw down and threw down hard today.0.99
00:14:09.280Expect Mark Elias and Norm Eisen and that entire click, that cabal, to lose it today.
00:14:17.840Pete Hegseth said, hey, we're going to do a stand-down,
00:14:20.540and we're going to let the troops in the field have a say-so in this,
00:14:24.620And we're going to make sure they get a shot to have their voices heard.
00:26:00.320Hey, Steve. How are you doing? Thank you for having me on.
00:26:02.520Typically, we know that more people look at their phones than answer the door, especially when it comes to talking about politics and other things that affect us as a citizenry.
00:26:11.080And what I've noticed is that when people use their phones and look at information, they're more inclined to share it with their networks.
00:26:16.980So we want to create just a video, a series of videos that help people understand, you know, about these different candidates.
00:26:23.760Case in point for Ken Paxton, I think that most people would see him as someone who's
00:26:28.080a protector of Texas, a protector of babies, of the border, and also our businesses.
00:26:32.720And we want to kind of convey that in our messaging and make it where they can receive
00:26:36.420on their phones and share it with their network of friends and family.
00:26:39.780And we call that process digital doorknock.
00:26:41.860So it cuts out a lot of the legwork and just some of the different types of things that
00:26:45.700are a bit tedious for actually canvassing neighborhoods and giving people where they
00:29:44.460In Texas, we work hard to protect and provide for our families,
00:29:49.240and we demand that our political representatives have the backbone
00:29:53.060to stand up to radical leftists who want to destroy everything we hold sacred.
00:29:58.760Ken Paxton's track record as both a legislator and litigator earned him President Trump's endorsement for the U.S. Senate.
00:30:06.360So, Texas, you must get out and elect Ken Paxton, an unbelievable guy, the best attorney general in the United States.
00:30:14.400In his previous role as a state legislator, Ken earned repeated A-plus ratings and can be best described as a doge crusader
00:30:23.640who gutted bills that were riddled with waste,
00:30:27.260bloated spending, and hidden tax hikes.
00:30:30.420It's been my philosophy for a long time,
00:30:32.480whether I was in the House or the Senate,
00:30:33.720that people do more good with their own money
00:30:35.420than they do by giving it to the government.
00:30:37.780As Attorney General, Ken has been relentless1.00
00:30:40.460in protecting kids from transgender predators1.00
00:30:43.140who promote mental molestation and medical mutilation.0.95
00:30:47.180he sued the ncaa to keep males out of women's sports and his battles with the biden administration
00:30:57.500to restore remain in mexico policies and safeguard you guys know ken is the guy that
00:31:04.960was our first guest on right after biden took the oath of office for his illegitimate presidency
00:31:10.920Why? Because he stole the 2020 election.
00:31:15.340Of course, Ken Paxton sued for that, too.
00:31:17.820So Ken Paxton Central, I don't need to tell you about the virtues of Ken Paxton.
00:31:21.460Hell, you've been the this audience been the backbone of his primary win to stop his impeachment by the the Bush faction and the left, the crazy left in the in the Texas Senate.
00:31:31.640All of it. Just remember Dan Patrick, a real warrior, quote unquote, took him about 72 hours.
00:31:40.920of us being relentless in that trial to him to kind of flip put his oh let me see which one's
00:31:47.520okay that's right they're here for paxton so i can't do that that's the problem with the bush
00:31:52.880junta down in texas that's where they turn that state into kind of a mess that the mega base is
00:32:00.300going to uh have to sort out gerard where do people go obviously the distribution of this
00:32:06.860This is not a 30-second spot you put up on TV or even cable.
00:32:09.920This is going to be distributed digitally.
00:33:31.560So if you send us a contact form there or subscribe to our newsletter, biweekly newsletter, you can reach us there and we're always available and we'll get back to you.
00:33:43.400But, you know, common sense plus common ground equals the common good.
00:33:47.220And that's what we're trying to do, trying to bring back, you know, the Constitution and the basis of what built this great country, which is believing in the Constitution, family, fidelity and freedom.
00:33:58.680so thank you guys appreciate your work got a big old fight down in texas and thank you appreciate
00:34:04.800you thank you thank you steve mark halperin who you know has got many many many many sources
00:34:12.220ahead this video it's about nine minutes i'll make sure that everybody gets access to it but
00:34:16.520let me play a clip uh from it again before i bring in caroline wren let's go and play it
00:34:21.740strategist who is close to the president uh but uh but but he's very clear-eyed a very clear-eyed
00:34:34.760person and and it's someone i know well does what doesn't lie to me and we went through the senate
00:34:39.460map and he gave republicans nearly every contested race it was so interesting he didn't give them
00:34:46.020kansas but he gave them maine michigan new hampshire maybe minnesota iowa alaska and texas
00:34:54.780now if republicans win all those races ladies and gentlemen uh they might even expand their
00:35:00.580majority we didn't talk about ohio oh no we did talk about ohio he thought they'd win ohio too
00:35:05.300so he thought they'd basically win everything except kansas maybe michigan uh and uh and
00:35:13.040obviously north carolina uh i believe if that happens the republicans would gain seats so
00:35:17.620it just it just this is not a spinning person this is just that's his view and i have to tell
00:35:23.400you i could make that case unless there's a tsunami the size of connecticut a tsunami the
00:35:30.700size of connecticut are we going to have a tsunami or even a blue wave or is it a red undertow
00:35:36.240as i've said over and over and over and over again nothing is written our destiny and our
00:35:45.160future is for us to decide and it's going to be quite simple if we turn out the mega vote and
00:35:51.080some mega plus which is the lower propensity voters you throw in some maha the maha movement
00:35:59.420the Maha moms. I like our odds. It's long. It's a narrow gate. It's a tough struggle.0.95
00:36:07.700But I tell people when we we see this tough, but doable. Caroline Wren, you kind of laid the
00:36:15.620predict for this earlier in the week as as the week develops. And I realize I think there's just
00:36:21.240an announcement and they're pulling out of North Carolina with Watley. I understand there's a lot
00:36:26.320turbulence in ohio obviously georgia is not georgia's i don't think going to be in play
00:36:30.840but these do matter for down market races down ticket races what do you think of halpern's
00:36:36.700assessment on the northern tier maine new hampshire michigan minnesota alaska ma'am
00:36:43.800yeah i think what he said was similar to what i said on your show last week look we have 53
00:36:50.300republican centers they need to win four seats that we hold to be able to take a majority and
00:36:55.120And, like, I could make a pretty credible argument right now that, you know, maybe we lose one.
00:36:59.660If I had to pick one, it'd probably be North Carolina, although I still think we could pull it out.
00:37:04.880Every, you know, Hillis was on the ballot six years ago.
00:37:09.640And I was looking back at the real clear polling average in September, and it was like Hillis down by an average of eight points in every poll.
00:37:17.140And some polls had him down as much as 12, and he went on to win by several points.
00:37:21.620And so this is why just these September polls are meant to suppress the vote.
00:37:26.120But let's say if you want to go to the camp of North Carolina is gone.
00:37:41.840And again, so I would be surprised if we lose that.
00:37:45.560But even if you do, then you go into all the states that Trump has won three times by 10 points or more.
00:37:52.100And that is Ohio, Alaska, Iowa, Texas, Kansas, Nebraska, South Carolina, Florida.
00:37:58.220Like, I just, when Halpern said it'd have to be a, you know, blue tsunami the size of Connecticut, that's what he's talking about.
00:38:05.120So there's really, there's two that are kind of, you know, iffy.
00:38:08.820Again, I don't really put Maine as iffy.
00:38:10.500Then when you go to the pickups, you really only have Michigan, New Hampshire, Georgia, or Minnesota.
00:38:15.560And Michigan has, you know, all the polls show that tide.
00:38:18.720And I think we have a real shot at being able to win Michigan.
00:38:21.640They put up, the Democrats put up a horrible candidate that you're, if you really look at these polls, a lot of independents are breaking towards Rogers.
00:38:30.200And, you know, El Saeed is not really able to consolidate the base there.
00:51:35.520that none of the other networks stepped in to do pool coverage today when it was CNN's turn.
00:51:42.340Because if there's one thing we've learned, and we're going to talk about this at the Supreme
00:51:47.160Court, where I think there's evidence Trump is talking about the Insurrection Act because he's
00:51:52.760scared of the voters, but he's not reading his own Supreme Court, which has shut him down.
00:51:59.440This is a classic First Amendment battle. It's viewpoint discrimination.
00:52:03.360That is Constitution 101. You can't say I'll let Fox News in because I like them, but I'm going to keep out MS Now and CNN and Politico.
00:52:14.360So I think that you and your colleagues have the upper hand.
00:52:18.480And I just would implore the other networks, solidarity, stick with each other, hold a firm line, because if he can separate you, that's his victory.
00:52:29.600Me and Michael, as you said that, Michael still looked at me and I looked at Michael still like this.
00:52:33.840Because reality is, Norm, you're correct.
00:52:36.020And I do, you know, we got to give credit where credit is due.
00:52:38.380I think it is amazing that the other networks today were like, no, we're not going to step in on CNN's pool coverage.
00:52:43.940I think it's despicable that they're going to do the pool coverage though tomorrow.
00:52:49.520By the way, we never need them to do the pool coverage again.
