00:38:32.980 talk about is the fact that uh right now for the first time in basically 23 years the united states

00:38:40.060 does not have a carrier strike group or a u.s aircraft carrier operating uh in the indo-pacific region

00:38:47.260 the biden harris regime and i use the word regime on purpose uh ordered the uss abraham lincoln to make

00:38:55.600 best speed across the pacific through the south china sea and out into the central command area of

00:39:01.960 responsibility and it is there now along with the other west coast carrier the teddy roosevelt

00:39:06.780 operating in the gulf of oman or the goo as we used to call it and maybe they still do so we have all

00:39:12.560 of our carriers 11 aircraft carriers we've got about half of them at sea right now on the on the east

00:39:50.440 percent of the south china sea and so what they are doing now is essentially telling the republic of

00:39:56.280 the philippines who's being led by their president marcos who's more uh pro-america restoring the

00:40:02.620 philippines back to its kind of historic uh security alliance with america after the the darte regime

00:40:09.460 with president dutarte uh and beijing doesn't like that and so they are now pressurizing the philippines

00:40:16.540 uh specifically this on monday the 26th of august at sabina shoal where they prevented the filipinos

00:40:23.760 from resupplying one of their coast guard cutters that was at anchorage at sabina shoal with two other

00:40:29.560 smaller uh rapid response vehicles uh vessels mrrvs and these two mrrvs or rapid response vessels went

00:40:39.960 out there to bring them food water and even some ice cream that the local coast guard commander wanted

00:40:45.520 to provide to the sailors on that ship and the chinese block this with three pla navy warships six

00:40:53.680 coast guard cutters and at least 31 people's armed forces maritime militia vessels along with a fishing

00:41:07.280 other areas where the philippines have outposts in the south china sea over the last two months

00:42:00.460 flew a y-9 maritime reconnaissance aircraft intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft

00:42:06.500 through the banjo islands the danjo islands which is at the entrance of the southern entrance of the

00:42:11.700 tsushima strait in the east china sea that goes up into the sea of japan they flew through that area for

00:42:17.360 the first time ever it's the first time ever that pla aircraft had flown through the territorial waters

00:42:23.580 of the of japan that means within 12 nautical miles of their land mass it's not a it wasn't a mistake by

00:43:58.500 november 5th election so we're seeing a general uh dismantlement of america's interest in the

00:44:04.280 indo-pacific in favor or relinquishing this to the people's republic of china and specifically the

00:44:10.120 chinese communist party and it's really really uh disheartening to see this uh especially at the

00:44:16.180 time when our navy is under such duress there was a report this week that said that up to 17 of our 80

00:44:23.160 military sea lift command vessels were going to be taken offline because a lack of personnel

00:44:29.640 experienced mariners that could be put on these ships and this is having cascading effects on other

00:44:36.260 u.s navy operations like our carriers or other areas like special warfare and other things of that

00:44:42.740 nature so yes uh our general national security capabilities uh colonel harvey it seems captain finnell

00:44:53.260 just illuminated of course how the united states is is not living up to its obligations with the

00:44:58.340 philippines and you observed of course that against israel we're facing the same uh situation what would

00:45:06.320 you see uh colonel harvey in the in the weeks ahead uh iran has not yet retaliated if we recall in april

00:45:13.760 when israel um i believe uh killed two generals iranian generals so iran waited about two weeks to

00:45:21.080 retaliate do you see something uh along those lines uh in this instance colonel harvey or or what are your

00:45:27.740 thoughts well i believe that tehran sees real advantages in stringing this out and creating

00:45:35.260 tension and uncertainty for israel but also for the region and that puts additional pressure and stress
