Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground 602： Present Danger China

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for I mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:11.280 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the authoritarians

00:00:19.040 get total control and total power because this is just like in Arizona this is just like in Georgia

00:00:24.760 it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and misrepresentations

00:00:29.880 this is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is the fight

00:00:33.660 all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth

00:00:37.800 war room battleground here's your host Stephen K Bannon

00:00:41.960 good afternoon Stephen K Bannon should be here but this is Brad Thayer sitting in for him

00:00:49.360 on August 28th the year of our Lord 2024 we've got a lot to cover on the show we have some excellent

00:00:56.780 guests including Congressman Tim Burchard of course from the great state of Tennessee

00:01:00.860 and we'll be joined later by Jim Fennell and Derek Harvey two of our great national security experts

00:01:08.360 who are going to talk us through key national security threats that are facing the U.S. and its allies

00:01:14.500 now and certainly in the months to come much is happening as we used to say of course lots happening

00:01:22.000 in international politics and business is always good and our enemies always ensure that there's

00:01:27.340 never a shortage of problems or issues really to touch base on but I'd like to toss to Congressman

00:01:34.680 Burchard sir if you're with us there's a lot to discuss

00:01:38.120 great to be on the show with y'all thank you again

00:01:42.900 wonderful to have you sir your your favorite of course of the audience the posse loves you

00:01:48.460 uh Congressman Burchard I'd like to really start off with talking about the vice presidential pick

00:01:54.280 uh Tim Waltz uh who's uh democratic vice presidential pick of course sir

00:01:59.260 uh who's uh spent a lot of time in China it seems maybe too much time in China some would say

00:02:06.200 uh having made over 30 visits since 1989 uh having gone to Macau many many times and have had business

00:02:14.360 interests uh as well with uh uh uh PRC people's republic of China's uh entities uh there so sir what can you tell us about uh this vice presidential pick uh and what are your thoughts uh really on on what he's up to uh in the years that he's had before uh uh obviously Kamala Harris picked him

00:02:36.360 him well if you want somebody with a questionable past questionable past abortion on demand up to

00:02:43.440 up to and maybe even after birth um if you want somebody who wants an open border

00:02:49.180 uh who said that you build that wall I'm gonna be down there selling ladders um then this is your guy

00:02:57.020 uh and of course the communist Chinese influence to me scares the daylights out of me they are the ones 1.00

00:03:03.640 that you know have worked um they're magic with another member of our uh former member I guess of

00:03:10.560 the intelligence committee that speaker Pelosi would not put on the committee all right that would put on

00:03:16.380 the committee would not remove him and um he couldn't get a security briefing to a boy scout

00:03:22.580 meeting um and it was of course had a long-term relationship with a communist Chinese lady so you know

00:03:32.840 they have a long-term plan they get involved in people's lives early I was told by um Mike Pompeo at

00:03:41.620 a breakfast one time he said Tim he said you know they um they're down to the level of PTA meetings

00:03:47.460 I mean in in areas that's their influence and they they cast the net very deep and they're playing

00:03:53.980 the long game and I you know my father I'm saying I was pointing to the excuse me these guns behind me

00:04:00.440 um those were guns my dad took off of uh folks that he killed in in the Pacific and um I got three of

00:04:09.680 them as a matter of fact but he uh um after the war he went to China for a short while and he got in

00:04:15.240 some limited combat against against um some Chinese communists left a group of them in a field as a

00:04:21.360 matter of fact uh that's for another story though another day but you know the thing that he said

00:04:27.300 about the communist Chinese was that they don't value people they don't value anything but the 0.93

00:04:33.660 ruling class and um and they'll do anything to succeed and and that scares that scares the heck

00:04:41.500 out of me you know the Manchurian candidate we know they're involved in these things they are at

00:04:47.520 major colleges major institutions um are research institutions and you know and what they do is

00:04:55.380 a lot of these folks are just are very patriotic Americans of of Chinese descent but they still

00:05:03.040 have kinfolk back in um in China and they'll be contacted about a member or something a member of

00:05:10.440 their family who who could just disappear and they say oh man I don't want that to happen and they

00:05:16.520 said well that's good that's fine why don't you um we just need a little information you know maybe

00:05:21.440 you work in a in a um maybe you're a member of the navy or something have a little influence or in

00:05:27.620 um information on a on a naval um on a missile that we have or something or a sub and that's the way

00:05:34.580 they've operated in the past they got two um democrat excuse me two um that's Freudian they got two um

00:05:42.340 um Chinese members of our navy um of Chinese descent and basically I think one of them's mom was

00:05:50.900 promised a position in the Chinese party I you know I don't know what that entails probably having

00:05:55.960 uh at least one meal a day which is something that a lot of people in China do without but um you know

00:06:02.900 it goes very deep with these folks and they have a long game and you know I uh do they have compromising

00:06:09.820 information on this on him I don't know I would I suspect they don't but they do have some influence

00:06:16.140 and they have a contact with him and that scares the daylights out of me and that should scare every

00:06:21.480 American because currently right now our national media media outside of uh when I say the national

00:06:28.520 media I mean the the historical ABC NBC CBS CNN um they're not doing any research on these folks

00:06:35.640 they are they're coronating them is all they're doing and that should scare the hell out of Americans

00:06:40.360 indeed it should uh and and anybody who's gone to China 30 times so well he wouldn't be coming back

00:06:47.560 if he at least didn't uh get the approval of the Chinese Communist Party uh because he's not allowed

00:06:54.460 to just come and go uh as he wants we should talk to our missionaries we should we should talk to some

00:07:00.780 of our Christian missionaries that go over there and ask them about the um the process to get over there

00:07:07.440 and what they have to do and have they have to be very careful and then to say that this guy just

00:07:12.800 has free reign to walk all over China 30 different times to me and bring young students to me it doesn't

00:07:19.860 make your mind uh doesn't have to wander very far to figure this thing out yes sir and he had a

00:07:26.420 business too which really seems to be opaque uh and what actually was this business doing in China

00:07:32.300 I think there's uh there Congressman Burchett there are going to be a lot of shoes yet to drop I think

00:07:38.320 in Tim Waltz uh and his activities with uh uh the Chinese Communist Party uh the time that he spent in

00:07:46.140 Macau for example uh there's a lot there and it's up to him of course to come clean uh he's very unlikely

00:07:53.180 to so it's up to Congress and other good folks uh to do what they can to get information uh about him

00:08:00.100 I know your committee uh the Chairman Comer's committee has attempted uh to send a recent

00:08:06.080 letter to the FBI Congressman could you talk a little bit about that please uh for the audience

00:08:11.380 yeah um I I guess the letter you reference is is is just how how deep his influence is um and and where

00:08:21.200 it goes and and I don't expect to get anything back um we've we've seen this time and time again that

00:08:29.060 our alphabet agencies uh just do not respond or as we saw with the Secret Service um after

00:08:37.060 President Trump was shot just how they stonewalled and how our FBI's is I mean they allowed the body to

00:08:44.540 be uh cremated and then they washed they couldn't wash off that root fast enough um if these folks all

00:08:52.760 these agencies aren't involved in some sort of conspiracy they sure don't do a heck of a lot

00:08:57.320 to um to bring anything to light to dispel those rumors so I'm I'm very concerned and I do not expect

00:09:04.980 any response uh I expect stonewalling and then and hoping that they will have the majority in the

00:09:11.820 House the Senate and the White House because when they do God help us they will they will destroy this

00:09:18.000 country because what's your these radical radical views and programs and you know our transportation

00:09:24.740 bill or 85 percent of it is it funds non-transportation uh this that will just be the tip of the iceberg

00:09:32.980 and they will wreck this country and they will rebuild it in some sort of woke utopia as my buddy

00:09:38.720 Matt Gates calls it and we um you know we will we will lose our country as we know it I I fear that

00:09:46.360 completely with this and these to think that the the ruling body uh that I serve on um and Chairman

00:09:57.220 Comer does a good job he he goes after him but you know I know I see the frustration every time I see

00:10:02.880 him in the gym every morning uh before seven o'clock usually and he you can tell he's just frustrated

00:10:08.860 because there's there's no um apparatus to back it up you know we don't have we've got a majority but

00:10:15.960 we don't have enough members with the guts to do something we just are well we ought to just say

00:10:19.800 we're going to cut your money off and defund these these agencies and let them fall into something

00:10:25.280 else but and that's what we need to do and I think the American public at least I know the posse would

00:10:29.900 support that and um but we're just being overrun and and the arrogance they just thumbing their nose

00:10:37.000 at this committee and they sure wouldn't do it under the Democrats if the Republicans uh were in

00:10:42.800 in charge and um or in the White House as you saw they over they they ran over our Constitution

00:10:49.260 continuously uh when Trump was in and they had um and they they had the power in the House so um

00:10:57.700 I don't think much is going to come from it brother I guess I should have just said that I saved us a lot

00:11:03.280 of time well it's important to say that uh I think Congressman to I think to convey uh to the audience of

00:11:10.760 course what's actually happening but also potential roads ahead uh uh too I think one thing that we

00:11:17.760 could see is that they're also it's not an accident there's so little time to investigate Waltz or

00:11:23.080 Harris uh of course too uh since we only have a few months voting starts in North Carolina and

00:11:29.700 Pennsylvania in September uh so they're doing everything they can to minimize the time that

00:11:35.020 anybody has to look at uh these candidates uh and what they've been up to sir don't you think

00:11:40.040 oh 100 percent they're gonna stonewall us minimize as you said that's a great word and the national 0.60

00:11:47.900 media will be will play a part in it uh I hate to do this but before I go to bed I flipped on the

00:11:54.600 television usually to get over to YouTube to watch some video on how to do something here that I need

00:12:00.580 data hey if you need if you need cataract surgery I'm your guy by the way I saw a video on it I'll

00:12:06.000 probably be working on that later today outside of rebuilding carburetors but but no I was I saw CNN

00:12:14.040 some round table and you know they had the token Republican I guess I didn't know who he was that's

00:12:20.720 thought that's kind of odd that I wouldn't know who the guy was but it's just a round table of far

00:12:26.980 leftists just berating everything we stand for and and making excuses for Kamala Harris and and her 0.62

00:12:35.680 vice president um you know from the you know after it came out that now she's in favor of a border wall 1.00

00:12:42.020 of course she's in favor of a border who wouldn't be you know and it's all of a sudden this talk

00:12:46.840 and she was for defunding the border uh our border police our border patrol excuse me and 0.53

00:12:54.200 and she fought every every ounce of uh of effort to build a wall she is a liar this is a hoax we are 0.84

00:13:03.280 being this is uh being pushed upon us somebody else is pulling the strings I I dare say she is not 0.87

00:13:10.500 gonna be if she were elected God help us but if she were she would not be running anything but I do I

00:13:18.780 do take her serious when she says she's gonna immediately have a have an immediate gun ban and 1.00

00:13:24.660 start and start seizing weapons I believe she'll try to do that with and and I believe that this

00:13:30.920 this gutless Congress will um enough of them will stand you know will compromise some way on our

00:13:38.080 Constitution then it is all over well yes Congressman you'll remember of course that Joe Biden

00:13:44.500 just as he was sworn in right had so many executive orders ready to go so uh there's no doubt that uh

00:13:51.600 if she were elected uh she'll uh be off to the races uh and guns are just the start of it sir as you 1.00

00:13:57.620 uh certainly it's going to be the remaking of a continuation of the remaking of American society

00:14:02.980 uh which is uh the objective here and uh there's so much uh obviously to be done

00:14:10.180 uh but how are we going to be able to get the information about her Congressman I think that

00:14:15.740 the letters are important the interviews to which she's uh going to sit down it's going to be up to

00:14:20.620 President Trump uh certainly at the debate or at least one debate uh potentially more to try to draw

00:14:27.740 this out you referenced the media of course our inner camp aren't going to do anything uh so sadly it

00:14:34.400 falls to uh President Trump at the debate to do his utmost uh to try to draw her out uh on this issue

00:14:42.240 other than that she's just going to be a Biden hiding the basement strategy and the media will 1.00

00:14:47.060 provide top cover for her sir don't you think they're it's a huge problem again 100 percent you

00:14:53.040 ought to be doing the um the press for the Republican caucus or or just or just um Americans that have

00:15:00.240 some common sense and and I want to stress this with Americans because these are the people that

00:15:05.060 are watching this show if I could brother if I could branch out a little bit absolutely absolutely

00:15:10.500 when you're at thank you when you're at lunch or you're at your garden club or you're in your

00:15:15.580 Sunday school class or you're at the you know getting a getting a cold drink at work and people are

00:15:21.440 talking and and they're saying something that you know is not right you should correct them you don't 0.77

00:15:27.200 have to be a jerk about it but you should correct them you should stand up for this country the left 0.91

00:15:32.260 is taking it full advantage of us on Facebook on Twitter or X or whatever for too long and we're too 0.98

00:15:39.600 afraid to take it up take them on um I would direct people to a a Twitter a thing I just posted um

00:15:47.880 somebody that's always attacking me every week in our late in our our daily newspaper here in Knoxville

00:15:54.260 every week and I I ignore it because coming from the source I know what it's about they want to try

00:16:00.640 to control me and they held a fundraiser for me and so now they think they can tell me what to do which

00:16:05.620 they can't and then they write this horrible um opinion piece every week about me well this week

00:16:11.600 though or last week they took after they said some unkind things and some downright lies actually about my

00:16:17.580 father who actually fought in this for this country and it was in the Marine Corps went in the Pacific

00:16:22.820 and and I corrected them and I put it out I didn't send it to the paper because you know they limit you

00:16:30.000 to 160 words or something and they edit it out and they make you look like a bigger make me look like a

00:16:35.500 bigger buffoon than I actually am and then they'll post it like in the corner of the obituary page and

00:16:40.520 nobody reads the paper anymore anyway so I posted it to Twitter and as of today I've gotten over 300,000 0.88

00:16:48.260 people that have viewed that thing and that's across the country and granted people a lot of the

00:16:53.900 local they're not all local people but national people have said I'm glad I don't know who this

00:16:59.440 is but I'm glad you stood up to them and we've got to do that and we've got to encourage our preachers

00:17:05.620 in the pulpit to quit being afraid to preach the gospel for goodness sake because a lot of this stuff

00:17:11.060 remember I don't want to be proselytizing I'm trying to win any souls but dadgummit a lot of

00:17:16.860 this stuff is is is basics uh it's it's scripture and it's sound and it and it's like our constitution

00:17:23.280 it's not a a moving document it is a stone put in place for a purpose and and and when we don't back

00:17:32.840 our preachers up and we don't back our community leaders up and you know I dare say I'm the people in

00:17:40.040 the posse are great I'm out knocking on doors in my counties out in the rural areas people are

00:17:45.080 coming up to me I see on the posse I was I was vacationing down in Florida a couple weeks well

00:17:49.920 actually I went down for um for Matt Gates actually and um we took a couple days I took my girls down

00:17:55.680 there with me and the guy who was playing the guitar and the little little honky-tonk we go to

00:18:00.620 every time and um I'll think of his name about the time I hang up here but he um uh I think

00:18:07.220 LaMonica I believe is his name yeah um LaMonica anyway he's a good guitar player I sent him a $10

00:18:12.760 tip on Venmo or whatever and y'all know how cheap I am and but he came off the stage and said hey

00:18:19.300 brother I've seen you on the posse I just saw you today as a matter of fact because I was wearing the

00:18:23.340 same dadgum shirt and he said and and you know and that meant more to me because he he talked about

00:18:30.280 things I was for and he encouraged me but we need to do that of our elected officials take every

00:18:36.440 advantage you can blast them all you want and they need to be blasted but when they do something

00:18:40.480 right dadgummit let them know I've been in this game most of my life I don't need any pats on the

00:18:45.880 back but a lot of these guys and gals do I used to say if you get three phone calls on an issue

00:18:50.580 it was a groundswell I voted against the um the Tennessee Titans stadium I just didn't think

00:18:57.020 government ought to be in that business it's such a great deal for all these billionaires

00:19:00.760 then dadgummit they ought to just pull all their money and not make the taxpayers pay for it and I was

00:19:05.820 one of three people in the house in the senate at that time in Tennessee to vote against it

00:19:10.800 but I had I had three or five or six maybe but I had three people from my district had called me

00:19:19.140 specifically about that said hey I can't even get books in our kids schools and those kind of things

00:19:23.620 and you gotta man we gotta we gotta back these people up but we also gotta encourage people to

00:19:29.120 get out and vote because the left has perpetuated this myth and they've used this because we think the

00:19:34.800 the elections were stolen and they said what what does my vote matter folks we got to put so many

00:19:40.180 dadgum points on the board they can't steal it from us we got to reinforce this thing this man this

00:19:46.180 country is a gift from God if you travel overseas brother you'll see it it is all these countries

00:19:51.980 are oh you got to go here you got to go there man I wouldn't trade any of them any of them for right

00:19:58.560 here in this beautiful country I got a 48 star flag on the wall in my office in Knoxville and that was

00:20:06.460 the flag that was on my uncle's casket too old to go fight died a few days after D-Day he's in his 30s

00:20:12.540 my mama would cry every time they played the national anthem you know and I think about that

00:20:17.420 the sacrifices people have made let's not throw it away let's you know I I'm often I had a preacher

00:20:25.500 one time tell me he was uh there's a story and I love this story because the guy's on his roof and

00:20:31.640 he um um uh and he's falling off and he says lord help me and a nail catches his his overalls you know

00:20:39.200 and and he says never mind lord I got it and you know knowing that God if he knows when a sparrow

00:20:44.960 falls from the sky dadgum he put that nail there so man he's put a lot of things out there we just

00:20:50.680 we cannot we got to quit turning our head to him and swatting his hand away I think when President

00:20:56.960 Trump turned his head a quarter of an inch and that bullet grazed him that was a signal we should

00:21:03.960 all be aware and quit swatting God's hand away Trump Trump is not perfect he is a he is a just like

00:21:12.420 the rest of us he's a broken vessel and but that gamut he he's gonna he's gonna straighten this

00:21:19.200 thing out we just got to give him the opportunity to do it that's right sir and we want to keep in

00:21:25.340 mind even Ted Williams didn't get on base every time he came up to bat right so nobody's perfect

00:21:30.440 333 or something yeah yeah but a third you know a third of the time he got on base the rest of the

00:21:36.700 times he just struck out absolutely and so President Trump has a batting average even better than Ted

00:21:43.200 Williams but as Steve always says we can't put it on President Trump's shoulders as you said at the

00:21:48.860 beginning sir that it's up to every one of us to work to make sure that the election obviously goes the

00:21:57.780 right way on November 5th there's so much to be done and again early voting starting in September in

00:22:03.160 North Carolina and Pennsylvania so sir we're off to the races here in just a matter of weeks

00:22:09.840 and that's something that the audience I'm sure will keep in mind sir is there anything just we've

00:22:18.540 got about two minutes left just your final thoughts really on the events of today and on the vice

00:22:25.560 presidential pick well I would just how far to the left they are how far to the left and I think they

00:22:34.980 understand they're in trouble with the left because the they if they got to shore that bunch up then we

00:22:42.240 know they're in trouble with them I think I think victory is within our grasp if we could just we just

00:22:48.640 close our hands and and pull it in and I would encourage people people ask me what can they do for our

00:22:54.320 country pray for our country and vote and please pray for our buddy Steve Bannon yes this ain't no

00:23:00.820 cakewalk where he's at and you know he's a tough guy don't who we we can't go see him and I get that

00:23:06.960 he doesn't want anybody to write him letters but I I'd encourage people to pray for his safety because

00:23:12.320 if this this is just the start of this nonsense this is the start of this nonsense and this is what

00:29:28.180 i want to warn you of a huge change that could be coming to our money in our bank accounts first think

00:29:34.560 back to 9-11 shortly after the government pushed through the patriot act this gave the government power

00:29:39.600 to spy on innocent americans by monitoring our phone and email and tracking our movement across

00:29:45.540 the internet now jim rickards editor of the independent financial newsletter strategic intelligence

00:29:51.400 and new york times best-selling author is warning about a coming event that could elevate this

00:29:57.020 governmental surveillance to a terrifying new level in fact some of the guests i've had on the

00:30:02.280 war room believe that the government will soon expand their powers to track our every move if we say

00:30:08.320 the wrong things on social media donate to the wrong causes buy firearms or even vote maga the

00:30:14.780 government may be able to shut us out of our bank accounts i can't say for sure if this will happen

00:30:20.680 but it's an interesting and dire warning fortunately jim rickards an american patriot and friend of mine

00:30:26.920 has made it his mission to educate us on what he believes is coming and how to protect yourself

00:30:32.540 from the possibility of programmable money watch jim's warning video now before it's censored like

00:30:47.620 all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth

00:30:52.380 war room battleground with stephen k bannon

00:30:55.500 uh welcome back uh war room it's a great pleasure to join you steve bannon should be here but he's

00:31:03.120 not i'm brad there sitting in steve told us next man up and so uh that's uh our motto of course in

00:31:09.900 the war room all of us have got to work together uh to ensure that uh everything stays uh right on the

00:31:17.180 right track in terms of uh while steve is is away i'm very pleased to be joined with uh two regulars

00:31:23.900 on the war room uh colonel derrick harvey and uh u.s navy captain retired uh james finnell uh to

00:31:31.480 give us a review of uh strategic events happening in the middle east and in the indo-pacific

00:31:37.280 so much has been happening of course as a result of biden administration weakness and the fact that

00:31:43.520 nobody really knows who's in charge uh in the united states with crises from ukraine the russia

00:31:49.600 ukraine war the middle east and then of course china's hyper aggressive actions uh against japan 0.51

00:31:56.580 taiwan in the philippines elsewhere in the south china sea and against india and other states uh it's

00:32:03.940 non-stop action of course uh when you have such a hyper aggressive status as china is uh colonel harvey 0.92

00:32:11.600 the audience knows you very well it's a great pleasure to have you join us uh this afternoon

00:32:16.600 i wondered uh derrick if you could take us through um the most recent iteration of course of the struggle

00:32:23.840 that israel's had it's been under attack from iran and iran's proxies uh now for most of the year

00:32:30.440 obviously going back to october 7th of 2023 and the horrific terrorist attacks at that time

00:32:35.720 and then iran's attacks in april and then of course it's gotten a lot hotter uh with hezbollah

00:32:42.260 so colonel harvey uh i'll toss it to you sir for uh your reflections on what uh israel and hezbollah

00:32:49.100 are doing with iran operating in the background over to you sir yeah thank you paul and it's great to

00:32:55.360 be on a panel here with jim jim's uh you know a stellar scholar on china and one of our best national

00:33:01.480 security experts in the country so it's great to be on here with him too um first of all about the

00:33:07.180 hezbollah uh attacks and the violence over the weekend i think i want to put that in context

00:33:11.860 you know israel you know responded preemptively to good intelligence knowing exactly what was going to

00:33:19.220 be developing with a uh a strike by hezbollah guided directed supported and financed by iran

00:33:26.980 as and you know this is a real challenge in the north because you're dealing with a basically a

00:33:34.160 minor military power there with you know upwards of 150 000 missiles rockets and other capabilities

00:33:41.540 that can impact the north and i want to step back you know that happened and we're in a little bit of a

00:33:47.540 pause but in context this is part of a larger uh i call it a strangulation strategy by by uh iran

00:33:56.700 being orchestrated through its proxies in yemen with the houthis in gaza with palestinian islamic

00:34:03.740 jihad and hamas and hezbollah and of course support from other you know groups you know be they shia

00:34:11.100 militias that come over from iraq or elsewhere so this war hasn't gone on for much longer than

00:34:18.420 than israel is used to and that's part of a prolongation strategy to wear down 1.00

00:34:24.100 the israeli population and their economy and to foster further isolation of of israel you know

00:34:32.500 in the international community and so that military campaign is succeeding and unfortunately our

00:34:39.080 administration has done everything in its power to ensure that israel is restrained while doing very 0.99

00:34:46.880 little in fact actually providing more financial support and not enforcing sanctions and being as hard

00:34:53.380 as they could on iran and hamas and others and in fact we offered nine billion dollars in

00:34:59.280 reconstruction aid in the that big 95 billion dollar package and you know many of us believe that you

00:35:07.040 know an israeli strategic victory serving israeli's interests will rebound to the favor of u.s broader

00:35:13.540 strategic and economic interests in the region set that aside the larger strategy you know internationally

00:35:20.580 they are they are they are the iranians and the others are working in the world health organization the u.n

00:35:26.820 unra um eu capitals etc to support you know isolating and undermining uh israel you know the um the 0.58

00:35:39.220 international court at the hague has indicted uh leaders there the administration here has put sanctions on

00:35:47.940 elected israeli leaders and is considering more so that's not a friend and an ally and we're doing

00:35:54.240 more against israel than they are than against iran in many ways thirdly you know there's the political

00:36:01.280 warfare that's going on that's financed by the left by marxists and you know the muslim brotherhood

00:36:08.220 community on our universities in our capitals uh you know targeting you know israeli support trying to

00:36:17.000 undermine the you know support for israel and jews in western and american capitals in brazil and

00:36:23.800 elsewhere and unfortunately that has had a great deal of success and not a lot of pushback and then

00:36:29.740 economically the this all these things impact the ability of the israeli economy to support the war

00:36:38.000 effort the northern part of the country is you know had 200 250 000 refugees move farther in the country it

00:36:45.440 impacts their economy there the war effort costs them a great deal and then the lack of investment

00:36:52.120 and continued economic activity you know in normal business trade investment etc because of you know

00:36:58.720 these pressures the united states and elsewhere which undermines israel and so there's a lot of forces

00:37:05.340 at play that are hindering israel at this point and i think i'll leave it certainly

00:37:12.700 well thank you derrick that's excellent and thank you for that uh tour of the horizon of the pressures that are

00:37:18.820 operating on them and and that allows the audience to understand uh really what they're facing right now

00:37:24.860 captain finnell uh you and i uh write together weekly for the american greatness and and uh uh published a few

00:37:33.480 books and maybe we'll have some more up our sleeves but uh jim finnell could you uh give us a really a review

00:37:39.980 of uh the actions that are taking right now to place now in the indo-pacific as a result of uh the

00:37:47.000 people's republic of china's aggression against the philippines uh taiwan and and uh japan

00:37:52.380 jim over to you well first of all brad it's uh you know i'm glad that you referenced steve bannon

00:37:58.940 he's in prison right now so we are the next men up and we will continue to have next men up no matter

00:38:04.520 what they throw at us so that's first second congratulations to you for being recognized to be

00:38:09.580 able to lead the war room here tonight this is your inaugural night and so thank you uh to you and

00:38:15.700 congratulations and then third it's always a pleasure to work with derrick uh he is uh really uh

00:38:22.000 an expert in the middle east and uh somebody that i greatly respect and i'm honored to be on the

00:38:27.140 show with him regarding the events in the pacific and the indo-pacific i think the biggest news uh to

00:38:32.980 talk about is the fact that uh right now for the first time in basically 23 years the united states

00:38:40.060 does not have a carrier strike group or a u.s aircraft carrier operating uh in the indo-pacific region

00:38:47.260 the biden harris regime and i use the word regime on purpose uh ordered the uss abraham lincoln to make

00:38:55.600 best speed across the pacific through the south china sea and out into the central command area of

00:39:01.960 responsibility and it is there now along with the other west coast carrier the teddy roosevelt

00:39:06.780 operating in the gulf of oman or the goo as we used to call it and maybe they still do so we have all

00:39:12.560 of our carriers 11 aircraft carriers we've got about half of them at sea right now on the on the east

00:39:17.660 coast and uh uh and the the two in the gulf of oman but we don't have any in uh the indo-pacific

00:39:25.340 right at a time that china as you mentioned is bullying and threatening our treaty allies the first 0.99

00:39:31.200 treaty ally is the republic of the philippines and there's been about a six-month surge in effort by

00:39:37.140 the people's republic of china to basically take control of the nine dash line which is that

00:39:43.420 nine dashes that they instituted uh back in the 50s and updated in the 70s that basically claims 80

00:39:50.440 percent of the south china sea and so what they are doing now is essentially telling the republic of

00:39:56.280 the philippines who's being led by their president marcos who's more uh pro-america restoring the

00:40:02.620 philippines back to its kind of historic uh security alliance with america after the the darte regime

00:40:09.460 with president dutarte uh and beijing doesn't like that and so they are now pressurizing the philippines

00:40:16.540 uh specifically this on monday the 26th of august at sabina shoal where they prevented the filipinos

00:40:23.760 from resupplying one of their coast guard cutters that was at anchorage at sabina shoal with two other

00:40:29.560 smaller uh rapid response vehicles uh vessels mrrvs and these two mrrvs or rapid response vessels went

00:40:39.960 out there to bring them food water and even some ice cream that the local coast guard commander wanted

00:40:45.520 to provide to the sailors on that ship and the chinese block this with three pla navy warships six

00:40:53.680 coast guard cutters and at least 31 people's armed forces maritime militia vessels along with a fishing

00:41:00.240 fleet so they essentially block this resupply and china has been doing this at second thomas shoal and

00:41:07.280 other areas where the philippines have outposts in the south china sea over the last two months

00:41:12.600 specifically and the chinese have told them you will not be allowed to resupply any of your outposts

00:41:18.960 in our waters the chinese waters of the south china sea unless you first tell us what you're

00:41:23.920 going to do and request our permission obviously the republic of the philippines that has no intention

00:41:29.300 of doing that that would be giving up their sovereignty so we're in a bad situation with this happening

00:41:34.600 and uh the united states is i in my opinion we've been lagging and now sending the carrier away sends

00:41:41.800 another signal to beijing that we're really not interested as the the indo-pacific and specifically the

00:41:47.960 south china sea and other areas is our top priority or as equally as concerning as what's happening in

00:41:53.860 the middle east as derek described concurrently also on the 26th monday the 26th of august the chinese

00:42:00.460 flew a y-9 maritime reconnaissance aircraft intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft

00:42:06.500 through the banjo islands the danjo islands which is at the entrance of the southern entrance of the

00:42:11.700 tsushima strait in the east china sea that goes up into the sea of japan they flew through that area for

00:42:17.360 the first time ever it's the first time ever that pla aircraft had flown through the territorial waters

00:42:23.580 of the of japan that means within 12 nautical miles of their land mass it's not a it wasn't a mistake by

00:42:30.800 the the pilots they're they're very good they know what they're doing and this is another signal uh

00:42:36.420 essentially telling japan that we're not going to put up with anything from you either and the third

00:42:42.840 signal was to the u.s who had the next day uh our national security advisor uh jake sullivan traveling

00:42:50.520 to china who is there right now as we're talking conducting another one of his series of quote-unquote

00:42:56.720 clandestine meetings that they the financial times talked about this week between wang yi the foreign

00:43:02.520 minister of china and jake sullivan our national security advisor essentially as we've discussed in

00:43:08.540 our book and on our articles this is a rest a neat a form of neo engagement of return to the engagement

00:43:14.620 policies that our governments followed for 40 plus years that were have been disastrous for american

00:43:20.720 national security and jake sullivan went to china and the day before he arrived the chinese made sure to

00:43:26.680 poke our ally in the philippines and poke our ally uh in uh in japan so this is all yeah in japan so this is

00:43:36.940 all happening at the same time while uh you know sullivan's there and they're talking about they're

00:43:42.720 really interested in the next six months of america and what our national security will be and

00:43:47.680 and where we're at so essentially sullivan is going over there to essentially like mark milley did to

00:43:53.520 tell his chinese counterparts oh here's we'll let you know if anything untoward happens with the

00:43:58.500 november 5th election so we're seeing a general uh dismantlement of america's interest in the

00:44:04.280 indo-pacific in favor or relinquishing this to the people's republic of china and specifically the

00:44:10.120 chinese communist party and it's really really uh disheartening to see this uh especially at the

00:44:16.180 time when our navy is under such duress there was a report this week that said that up to 17 of our 80

00:44:23.160 military sea lift command vessels were going to be taken offline because a lack of personnel

00:44:29.640 experienced mariners that could be put on these ships and this is having cascading effects on other

00:44:36.260 u.s navy operations like our carriers or other areas like special warfare and other things of that

00:44:42.740 nature so yes uh our general national security capabilities uh colonel harvey it seems captain finnell

00:44:53.260 just illuminated of course how the united states is is not living up to its obligations with the

00:44:58.340 philippines and you observed of course that against israel we're facing the same uh situation what would

00:45:06.320 you see uh colonel harvey in the in the weeks ahead uh iran has not yet retaliated if we recall in april

00:45:13.760 when israel um i believe uh killed two generals iranian generals so iran waited about two weeks to

00:45:21.080 retaliate do you see something uh along those lines uh in this instance colonel harvey or or what are your

00:45:27.740 thoughts well i believe that tehran sees real advantages in stringing this out and creating

00:45:35.260 tension and uncertainty for israel but also for the region and that puts additional pressure and stress

00:45:44.060 not just on the israeli defense forces but you know as jim pointed out look at how the u.s has

00:45:50.840 repostured to the region and we've got you know the aircraft carriers there um and the question would be

00:45:57.900 what are they doing you know we we see the houthis um setting aflame an oil tanker you know coming up 0.99

00:46:05.480 towards the uh the suez canal um there's been very little done in actuality to uh for for consequences

00:46:15.680 against the huzis or iran for what they are doing to interfere with international shipping for example

00:46:23.100 and you know if we're going to redeploy these forces um my question is what are they doing and you know

00:46:30.800 what instructions do they have how long are they going to be committed there because i see tehran

00:46:36.360 wanting to string this out for some time you know and they're going to put their proxies first

00:46:41.620 and they're fine with letting arabs die for their ideological cause anyway um but at some point

00:46:48.980 you know and to get to the the nub of your question you know i think they are going to strike

00:46:53.980 um and it will be a coordinated strike uh on multiple fronts huzis hezbollah from gaza whatever

00:47:04.640 they can muster um and then from iran itself and perhaps some international strike

00:47:10.960 also um you know whether it's going to be a targeting of an embassy um or american shipping

00:47:18.820 or some other allied shipping uh coordinated event the question is you know what are we communicating

00:47:25.800 are we can have we communicated any red lines is this administration believable in any way

00:47:32.280 because they continue to talk down the unity government of israel they continue to restrict

00:47:39.980 and you know resupply the purchase of equipment they continue to restrict the flow of intelligence

00:47:47.100 that israel could use for its purposes um and they continue to hesitate uh about using action

00:47:55.960 against those that are striking international shipping for example so who's running it as jim mentioned

00:48:02.840 you know if jake sullivan is in china we have an incapacitated non-present president who's sitting

00:48:11.960 on the beach most of the time doesn't even come to afghan uh milita afghanistan uh ceremonies at the

00:48:21.320 arlington cemetery um who's running the show clearly not the secretary of defense uh clearly it doesn't

00:48:30.900 indeed colonel yeah harvey it's uh american leadership is key for stability in international

00:48:38.280 politics and to honor our commitments worldwide as well as for security for the american people

00:48:43.320 and when nobody knows who the president is uh and who's in charge uh our allies take notice of that as

00:48:51.000 our our adversaries our enemies do as well well gentlemen thank you very much indeed for your sharing
