00:01:43.100And I could not believe this when I saw this.
00:01:46.020This is full-on political oppression, it would seem.
00:01:49.800The party political offices of Fiddish, up until April for 16 years, the governing political party,
00:01:59.960the political offices have been raided by the new government.
00:02:03.280And computers, servers have been carted off, including all of the communications that the party has undertaken under the pretext of clamping down on what is said, though the specifics are difficult to find out to do with abuses and corruption.
00:02:23.680We'll see exactly whether that was just a pretext, if any charges develop.
00:02:29.260But tell me what's going on right now in Hungary as a response to this.
00:02:38.860It's a great honor to talk about not so great things.
00:02:43.840You know, in Hungary and everywhere in the Western world,
00:02:48.740Viktor Orban was accused for 16 years being an autocrat or a dictator or something like this.
00:02:56.420But after 16 years, when we lost elections, that was the smoothest transition you can imagine.
00:03:03.540We lost against the Brussels-backed government. Of course, there was election interference,
00:03:08.540but we lost and we accepted the result. And what was their first decision? They started
00:03:14.440to build up an authoritarian liberal state.
00:03:19.080They canceled the mandate of the president.
00:03:23.200They banned Viktor Orban and half of the opposition members
00:03:27.540to be reelected by the people if they want to do so.
00:03:31.100And now that's the latest stage, what you were mentioning,
00:03:35.800that they just created a fake corruption issue.
00:03:40.540It has nothing to do with the party servers and nothing to do with the data of the supporters and members of FIDAS, but they use the authorities to put pressure on the Hungarian right side.
00:03:58.720And there is an actual political purge going on, backed and supported by the authoritarian liberals who are now in charge in Brussels.
00:04:08.640that's that's the situation in a nutshell we're going to talk in the second part of this interview
00:04:15.920about the key offices of state that have already been affected and the silence of the european
00:04:22.980union on this um that's we'll do that in about 10 minutes time first of all i just want to
00:04:28.440dig down on this rating of political of your political offices um because it's an astonishing
00:04:36.100maneuver do we know whether the prime minister the new prime minister peter maggior do we know
00:04:43.180to what extent he was involved or informed about this political raid well actually the
00:04:55.000the chief prosecutor resigned because of the political pressure what he got about this
00:05:03.680issue from the government. So even he himself said that the new prime minister was intervening,
00:05:13.980which shouldn't be the case and should never happen. And of course, now they are trying to
00:05:20.040create fake corruption issues and the entire operation was related to that. But it's so fake
00:07:04.500And as you say, and we'll come on to this shortly, the chief prosecutor himself has resigned in protest over the political interference on this.
00:07:15.280Do we know, Balazs Orban, at this point, when the investigation into the alleged corruption was even started by the state?
00:07:26.980Yes, something started, but it has nothing to do with the party servers and the complete data structure of any party.
00:07:37.040So, you know, in a parliamentarian democracy, you know, protecting the integrity of the parties, it's very important.
00:07:50.180And everybody who is willing to intervene has to be very cautious.
00:07:55.860And we were in power for like 16 years, accused of being dictators, and never ever was anything from the authoritarian side in connection with the opposition parties.
00:08:09.960The prime minister himself, as the leading figures of the party, they introduced the purge.
00:08:15.540So they said that it's going to be a purge, and they are going to orchestrate the purge against the former prime minister and the Fidesz leaders.
00:08:25.860And then these issues came. Of course, now he starts to pretend that it has nothing to do with him, but actually he made a political brand around it. He created that.
00:08:41.020So he is directly responsible for these unacceptable and undemocratic violations.
00:08:48.920I can remember when we won the election in 2010, our first decision was that we gave citizenship those ethnic Hungarians who are living outside the territory of Hungary.
00:09:01.820Now I'm at the beautiful place, Transylvania, that's what you can see behind me, where Viktor
00:09:09.600Orbán is usually speaking about the illiberalism and illiberal democracy.
00:09:16.580And actually what we did in 2010, we integrated the country, we brought in new citizens and
00:09:22.540what was their decisions when they won the election in 2026, they actually terminated
00:09:29.560the mandate of the democratically elected president, and they banned his political opponents
00:09:35.660of being re-elected. And they started to use the law enforcement agencies and the prosecutors
00:09:42.600to purge the political opponents. So this is a real and a huge scandal.
00:09:48.360I'm going to drill down on the authoritarian nature on this in just a moment. But before
00:09:54.440we move on i i i do want to ask you specifically if it is known when this supposed this alleged
00:10:04.120corruption investigation when that was started whether that investigation after the election
00:10:11.160had do we know that and we know that for a fact yes okay um all right okay that that you know
00:10:20.840know that's I think the clearest indication possible then the clearest
00:10:27.140affirmation possible that exactly what Fidesz is saying at this time that this
00:10:31.340is a political persecution so basically within months within weeks of a new
00:10:36.180government taking office they're raiding their their political adversaries
00:10:43.420confiscating their computers and servers and saying oh this is this is a
00:10:47.060corruption investigation um all right okay but listen before we move on let me just ask
00:10:53.240you were for one of the reasons why i heard your name spoken repeatedly over recent years was
00:11:02.380because of the the the work being conducted by the matthias corvinus collegium of which you were
00:11:10.120the um the chairman of the board of that organization a great organization i'm really
00:11:16.680trying to bed in the values that Viktor Orban was promoting in Hungary in the rest of Europe
00:11:23.140and elsewhere. What is the fate of the MCC right now? And for example, another organization that
00:11:31.800will be familiar to a lot of our viewers on the war, the European Conservative, another great
00:11:37.940organization. What is the future of these two entities to name but two? And I know you're very
00:11:46.060closely involved with both of them and helped them grow what's going to happen to them in the future
00:11:52.480well there the new government also launched a purge against them so the entire conservative
00:12:00.960right-wing anti-eu mainstream organizational structure is is also under pressure they knew
00:12:09.660that what they are going to plan it goes against the constitution so therefore they first change
00:12:15.720the constitution to make it seem legal, and they are trying to confiscate the assets of
00:12:35.100And the legal battle and the legal fight is going on.
00:12:38.840We hope that we will be able to save some elements of this ecosystem.
00:12:44.340They are very important ones, not just for us Hungarians, but for the fight about the Europe's soil as well.
00:12:57.600And I hope that we will be able to rescue them, save them and support them.
00:13:05.480But it's going to be a tough fight and they immediately went after the ecosystem.
00:13:09.860So it's a very interesting thing because the opposition during the campaign, they pretend, so during the entire campaign, they were saying that they are actually right-wingers and they agree with all the right-wing policies, which are good of Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
00:13:26.080Now they are elected, they have the power, and they not anymore behave as right-wing Democrats,
00:13:37.840but they purge their opponents, they purge the entire political ecosystem,
00:13:44.180and they get along with the Brussels agenda immediately.
00:13:53.300It was a fake campaign on their side, so people will sooner or later realize.
00:14:04.120Balazs, Orban, stay with me two minutes.
00:14:06.100Give a quick time for you to give a quick shout out to the show's sponsor,
00:14:09.480and then I'll come back with you and explore in further detail
00:14:13.120about the constitutional changes being imposed on Hungary right now.
00:14:17.760America wouldn't be celebrating its 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence
00:14:26.400if it hadn't been for the strongest foundation set by the framers
00:14:31.720and Alexander Hamilton built America's financial foundation on the principle of sound stable money
00:14:39.320a principle later embodied by the gold standard
00:14:43.220However, America abandoned that discipline in 1971 under Richard Nixon and has since
00:14:52.200seen inflation erode the dollar's value.
00:14:55.780It's time to ask, therefore, what is the foundation of your savings?
00:15:00.480Is it gold or something that could be shaken, disrupted, devalued or confiscated as President
00:15:07.760Roosevelt did when he made the private ownership of gold illegal, inventing the new term, never
00:15:15.160heard before in the world since then, calling it hoarding. He said the private ownership
00:15:21.800of gold is hoarding and ordered the government to confiscate it, buying it up at the government's
00:15:28.980set price. Birch Gold Group has been helping Americans solidify their savings with gold

00:16:13.080by to field your calls. Back now with Balazs Orban. Balazs, so we were on this show, on the war,
00:16:21.620we've been following this quite assiduously over recent weeks. The constitutional amendment,
00:16:28.300The new government has its two-thirds majority in Parliament following the April elections, and they are using this majority.
00:16:38.280So they passed this novelty, it was the 17th Amendment, effectively requiring the resignation or dismissal of the President of the Republic and the President of the Constitutional Court as well.
00:16:57.680The latter one was via a technical instrument reducing the retirement age to 70.
00:17:10.880Now, normally when these things are brought in, you would grandfather people who are currently in office.
00:17:16.720So these laws would apply to their successors, not to them.
00:17:22.880This seems to me to be specifically targeted.
00:17:25.540As you said in your introduction, the European Union and Ursula von der Leyen had withheld something illegally, billions of euros worth of structural funds against Hungary under the accusation that the Orbán government was eroding democratic safeguards and politicizing the judiciary.
00:17:51.780Well, when we see what's taking place right now, not even to enter into the discussion of another aspect of this constitutional amendment, which is the effectively barring from re-election any member of parliament who has served more than three terms, that is being grandfathered in.
00:18:12.040And that's going to apply at the end of the present parliament.
00:18:14.960What I'd like to know from you is what is Ursula von der Leyen saying to the forced resignation of the president of the republic?
00:18:25.680What is she said to do with the forced resignation of the president of the constitutional court?
00:18:32.840And you said at the beginning, which is absolutely perfect,
00:18:36.880the european union had been suggesting that victor orban was some kind of dictator in all
00:18:45.760but name and yet in april he left office in your own words in the smoothest transfer of power
00:18:54.480imaginable and in has come a government that is actually doing in real life
00:19:02.180what brussels was accusing victor orban of doing in theory what is the european union's response
00:19:10.700right now how many billions of of euros have they withheld from the peter magyar government
00:19:17.300because i can't find any response whatsoever to these authoritarian practices no actually
00:19:25.880So it's the opposite, they get their reward.
00:19:28.760So this is why I'm saying, I'm not just saying, not saying it because it's a political statement,
00:19:33.900but I'm saying it because it's true and the fact that they get their reward.
00:19:39.200So the money which has to come to Hungary is the Hungarians money EU funds.
00:19:47.280It was stopped during the election campaign because Ursula von der Leyen was openly saying
00:19:54.060That until we are not getting in line with the migration policy, the gender ideology, and we don't stop disagreeing with them on the Ukrainian war issue, we will not get our funds.
00:20:08.460And what happened after the election? They started to talk about the restoration of democracy, remember, by trying to exclude your opponents. And the inflow of the people, the inflow of the money started immediately.
00:20:26.140They made an agreement. We don't know anything about the details of the agreement, so we don't know what specifically was discussed. According to our understanding, Hungary had to give up many elements of its sovereignty to Brussels, but the inflow of the money already started, and Ursula von der Leyen and the Commission is in silence.
00:20:51.160balas orban would you say that the conduct of ursula von der leyen the eu politbureau chief
00:21:02.300was tantamount to blackmail against the hungarian people at the last election
00:21:09.580of course of course we were blackmailed like that was another decision by the european court but of
00:21:15.760course, orchestrated by Ursula von der Leyen and the commission, Hungary had to pay 1 million
00:21:21.580euro every day because it was protecting its borders. So they were saying that it's against
00:21:29.100the humanitarian legal standards to close your borders. It's not possible. And until you change
00:21:34.520your regulation, you have to pay 1 million as a fine every day. And of course, like many Americans
00:21:43.380And many of my friends were saying that, well, actually, that's a good deal, because if you let the migrants in, you will have to pay at the end more.
00:21:56.500But still, you know, one million euro per day for a small country like Hungary, this is something significant.
00:22:03.040And the European Union was putting enormous amount of financial pressure, legal pressure, and political pressure on the previous government, and they were 100% supporting the new government.
00:22:22.060Why? Because they wanted a government which is like a puppet government and which is in line with the mainstream policy.
00:22:29.240So the Hungarian rebellion against the mainstream liberal deep state of Europe should be terminated.
00:22:36.800And actually, why they are purging us?
00:22:40.040Because they want to terminate the Hungarian resistance entirely.
00:22:45.200And they don't want anymore a European country which is standing up and talking about still the importance of national sovereignty,
00:22:53.600questioning the crazy decisions of the European leaders
00:22:56.840on migration, on gender, on competitiveness,
00:23:00.540on green transition, on the Russian-Ukrainian war.
00:24:05.060One of the things I most admired about Viktor Orban, in addition to trying to bed down,
00:24:12.200You know, you're talking about the values of Western civilization, and that was something that Matthias Colvinus Collegium was very strong on promoting, is very strong on promoting.
00:24:24.640We pray for its future. Tell me, now that you are out of power, these relationships that you were building up, what have your European allies done in the face of this authoritarian crackdown?
00:24:40.240Has there been anything from the United States, for example, any intervention from the Trump administration?
00:24:48.220What is the nature of your international political support at this moment in time?
00:24:55.800Well, I'm really optimistic on that regard because I see I'm following what President Trump is saying about Europe,
00:25:04.840what Vice President J.D. Wenz is saying about Europe,
00:25:08.080how they are trying to help the European patriots
00:25:10.820to fight for their own continent and countries.
00:25:55.440And therefore, the anti-mainstream parties everywhere in Europe are growing.
00:25:59.860We will have election in France next year.
00:26:04.560We will have election in Poland and we will have elections in some of the smaller member states
00:26:10.580and everywhere the patriotic parties who are opposing the mainstream, they are against it.
00:26:17.760So they are against it and they are ready to fight.
00:26:21.780Balazs Orban, very, very grateful for you joining us today from Transylvania.
00:26:26.980Just know this, the warring posse, they love Viktor Orban, they love Fidesz, they love you, and they will give you every support possible as you continue to fight.
00:26:37.400Very, very quick, where do people go on social media, on X, to keep up with your analysis?
00:26:45.480My social media profile is Balazs Orban. You will find it easily. I will promote that show as well on that.

00:28:55.580again with our leaders fighting to restore common sense in america first but we've seen this before
00:29:02.760conservatives get comfortable and the left starts taking background inch by inch. We cannot let that
00:29:08.740happen in these midterms. America needs every one of us in the fight and a big part of that means
00:29:14.700supporting companies that actually stand for our values. That's why I'm proud to partner with

00:33:48.660And the only pretext that is necessary is doubts over such and such a person's loyalty to the Constitution.
00:33:59.800And Martin Siegert there, as I say, a present-serving member of Parliament, has been blocked for standing for some local office in his home state.
00:34:14.840Yeah, it's Lower Saxony. It's one of the biggest states in Germany.
00:34:20.660So just bring us up to date on this, because we have other stuff we need to discuss as well.
00:34:27.780But how exactly is the momentum now going on that, the actual blocking of AFD candidates simply on the doubts over loyalty to the Constitution?
00:34:41.380tell me as a as a long-standing both member of parliament and member of the european parliament
00:34:49.020what what is the the reaction there amongst the afd to these developments the event not only among
00:34:58.620the afd the scandal is getting bigger and bigger uh across all germany because uh this is a total
00:35:06.520farce. It's really a joke. There are five or six candidates of AFD in Lower Saxony,
00:35:17.120which are bad from election. And Martin Sichert, my old friend, is just the most famous one
00:35:24.420because he is a member of the German parliament. He mentioned in his video, I don't know if
00:35:31.700Somebody understood that it was in German, but he mentioned that Reinhild Goeys.
00:35:37.140She is also a candidate for a major, and there are Jessica Schulke, other woman, and two
00:35:44.040other guys, Robert Preuss, Stefan Bote.
00:35:47.600And the point is, you know, I wouldn't even mention that they should not be loyal to the
00:35:56.320constitution because this is a total total fake you know it's it's um violence of every laws
00:36:04.260they are just bad from election just because they are members of the ifd that's all and one of those
00:36:12.520election uh committees which was deciding on it uh they they admitted it more or less so this is
00:36:21.360absolutely unconstitutional unprecedented and this is really a big scandal
00:36:31.040um all right by the way what i what i haven't been able to find out is is what is the due process
00:36:39.040involved in this and the ability of candidates once they've been suppressed from standing
00:36:45.040to repeal this how does that work this is also very different there is always a committee which
00:36:53.120is deciding uh if uh candidates uh are um um eligible for elections but normally it's a
00:37:03.120formality everybody gets in and now uh they are even bearing the those afd candidates uh martin
00:37:11.680Sikert had at least the chance that they were confronting him with their accusations and
00:37:19.280it was public, so he was able to film it. And I just recommend it. Go to his X account and watch
00:37:27.280it. He provides the video even in English so you can see what the farce it is. But the other
00:37:36.000candidates. They even were not given the chance to say anything to the accusations. They were just
00:37:42.780excluded from the election. This is really hilarious. I think in America, just imagine
00:37:49.180that you would have a democratic government, and therefore there would be a majority of Democrats
00:38:26.500One of the sources of evidence cited to exclude Martin Siegert's candidature was that he had been caught putting out on Twitter the extreme anti-German constitution, anti-basic law material of Lord of the Rings.
00:38:56.500And that is, that was considered legitimate evidence of his, of his unacceptability for office. You're absolutely right, it is a violation of every norm of democracy.
00:39:10.160Peter Bison, I want to ask you something else. This just came out today. I think it's an important development, but I want to have your take on this. Staying with the eastern state of Saxony and the prime minister, the premier, Michael Kretschmer.
00:43:40.840I'll come back and we'll finish this off in just a minute's time.
00:43:44.040First of all, time for me to give once again a shout out to the show sponsor, Birch Gold.
00:43:48.960Pick up the phone, text Bannon, B-A-N-N-O-N to 989898, speak to Philip Patrick, speak to his team, ask them about the particularly competitive spot price of gold right now.
00:44:06.360down from the heights of $4,500 per ounce to about $4,000.
00:44:12.400And every serious gold analyst is expecting the climb back up to start at some point.
00:44:19.080So you might want to just check that out and get yourself on that escalator before it leaves.
00:44:31.820Philip Patrick and his team, world experts here in giving advice on gold to investors, both retail investors, corporate investors, standing by waiting to field your calls back with Peter Bistron.
00:44:45.440Peter, now you say that the AFD is doing well right now, and it is.
00:44:53.460Specifically, this poll came out in Die Welt yesterday, I think it was, that puts the AFD on around 29%.
00:45:04.000I think this is in Berlin, and the CDU is down to 20.5%.
00:45:12.600This is an astonishingly low result now for a party that won an election.
00:45:19.520I'm sorry, but this is not astonishingly if you see what the politics they are doing in the last two weeks and months.
00:46:50.300more dramatical and we have been talking before about saxony why why what is michael krechma
00:46:57.580proposing a coalition with the afd because afd in saxony is around 40 42 percent and the cdu is
00:47:05.740just half 2021 and if if you go to the next state where we will have the elections as as uh saxony
00:47:14.220anhalt uh maybe we will have an absolute majority we will win like the winner takes a goal you know
00:47:21.260and and then uh the next elections are going to be in mecklenburg west and pomerania on september 20
00:47:31.420and there the cdu fell down even under the mark of 10 so the cdu in that state is by nine percent
00:47:42.300just imagine this you know this is such a disruption of of the formerly party of the
00:47:49.500chancellors the the ruling party they are they are falling down so fast you even can follow it when
00:47:57.900you are watching but apart from certain voices saying that the the firewall is causing more harm
00:48:08.600than good. It seems to me that a lot of people in CDU leadership seem to, it's full steam ahead,
00:48:16.860right? There's no real introspection as to how they've collapsed to 20%. In fact, it would only
00:48:23.480take, I think, a half a percent tick in either direction for the CDU to fall down to 20% and
00:48:29.220the AFD to go up to 30%, which, as I say, these are psychologically important thresholds.
00:48:37.280I mean, it's not your job to explain what the CDU's thinking is, but I can't understand how a party can win an election and take over from Olaf Scholz, the socialist, just almost this time last year.
00:48:53.300And in the space of a year, just totally implode. It seems unusual, even by the relatively normal standards of incompetence for the establishment center-right. It's pretty exceptional, I think, the incompetence in Germany's center-right party right now.
00:49:13.500But it's not only about the incompetence, it's about the betrayal.
00:49:19.740And this is really, the fall is the result of the blatant lies before the election.
00:49:26.820This is the bill for the betrayal on the voters.
00:49:32.000Again, Merz and the CDU, they promised left is over.
00:49:37.460They promised right-wing policy, which includes like lowering taxes, making the country free
00:51:23.380I've got about 20 seconds left to wrap this up. Just give me a yes or no. When you're talking about betrayal, has the government, the centre-right-led government, done anything about the third world illegal invasion in the past? Yeah, yes or no? Has it done anything?
00:51:42.580nothing zero zero zero zero no that was like i knew the answer before asking you peter byston
00:51:51.140as always very very grateful that you're coming on the um the war room and explaining the view
00:51:57.060from germany very quickly where do people go on x to keep up with your analysis and commentary
