Bannon's War Room - WarRoom Battleground EP 531： The Spending Of Trillions As America Burns

00:00:00.000 this is what you're fighting for I mean every day you're out there what they're doing is blowing

00:00:11.360 people off if you continue to look the other way and shut up then the oppressors the authoritarians

00:00:19.120 get total control and total power because this is just like in Arizona this is just like in Georgia

00:00:24.840 it's another element that backs them into a quarter and shows their lies and misrepresentations

00:00:29.960 this is why this audience is going to have to get engaged as we've told you this is the fight

00:00:33.740 all this nonsense all this spin they can't handle the truth war room battleground here's your host

00:00:40.860 stephen k bannon when you talk about the economy of course it is by far the most important issue

00:00:46.880 for voters it's also true right now mr president that voters by a wide margin trust trump more on

00:00:53.260 the economy they say that in polls and part of the reason for that may be the numbers and and and

00:00:58.820 you're aware of many of these of course the cost of buying a home in the united states is double

00:01:03.020 what it was when you look at your monthly costs from before the pandemic real income when you account

00:01:08.540 for inflation is actually down since you took office economic growth last week far short of

00:01:14.100 expectations consumer confidence maybe no surprise is near a two-year low with less than six months to go

00:01:22.180 to election day are you worried that you're running out of time to turn that around we've already turned

00:01:28.140 around look you look at the michigan survey for 65 percent of american people think they're in good

00:01:33.540 shape economically they think the nation's not in good shape but they're personally in good shape

00:01:37.880 the polling data has been wrong all along you know how many you guys do a poll with cnn

00:01:43.820 how many folks you have to call to get one response the idea that we're in a situation where

00:01:50.100 things are so bad the folks i mean we've created more jobs we've made we're in a situation where

00:01:57.000 people have access to good paying jobs and the last i saw the combination of the inflation

00:02:04.720 the cost of inflation all those things that's really worrisome to people with good reason that's why i'm

00:02:10.620 working very hard to bring the cost of rentals down to increase the number of homes that are available

00:02:15.960 but let me say it this way when i started this administration people were saying there's going

00:02:23.560 to be a collapse of the economy we have the strongest economy in the world let me say it again in the world

00:02:30.240 biden last night touting his economic record and the strength of the u.s economy despite polls

00:02:37.000 that show that voters trust donald trump on the economy more than they trust biden

00:02:42.000 let's bring in the co-anchor of cnbc's squawk box andrew ross sorkin he's also a columnist for the

00:02:48.620 new york times andrew what do you make of the president's message and the persistent push that

00:02:53.820 for some reason donald trump is better on the economy can we think back to four years ago please

00:02:59.080 look he's he's 100 right that we all have the best economy uh in the world there there is no

00:03:05.540 question about that and 15 million jobs were created uh during his presidency the context of

00:03:11.860 course as we were coming off of covid so i'm sure that there will be uh critics uh that will will

00:03:17.620 suggest that that those numbers are different but i think the biggest issue and the reason why there's

00:03:22.900 this feeling but i think you're seeing the feeling changed because the trend lines on inflation are going

00:03:27.420 all in the right direction for the most part for the most part is this idea of cumulative inflation

00:03:32.960 versus wages and just the the cost of of goods and we've talked about this on the air so many times

00:03:40.080 people are looking at you know the price of gas they go to the supermarket and they get sticker

00:03:44.540 shock i think that sticker shock is starting to roll off and you're going to start to see some of

00:03:49.940 that in the polls but i think to the extent that the polls are reflecting that what's reflecting still

00:03:55.520 is the sticker shock inflation issue i seek recognition to give notice of my intent to raise

00:04:01.340 a question of the privileges of the house the form of the resolution is as follows declaring the office

00:04:09.300 of speaker of the house representatives to be vacant

00:04:12.760 this is the uniparty for the american people watching

00:04:22.500 gentlelady will suspend 1.00

00:04:25.160 it's thursday 9 may year of our lord 2024 thank you uh so much for joining us here in the six o'clock

00:04:32.760 hour the second hour late afternoon early evening there you're seeing the desperate spin the biden

00:04:40.120 numbers on the economy uh the people hate what he's done to the economy they don't even use the term

00:04:45.260 bidenomics anymore uh it it irks people so they've dropped that that whole big selling point of bidenomics

00:04:52.480 uh the polling is strongly with president trump on all aspects of the economy you can't get around that

00:04:58.580 the lived experience of the american people is terrible the elites have made out you just saw

00:05:03.040 the uniparty right there booing marjorie taylor green as she tries to bring some order into the 0.97

00:05:08.480 republican side and gets to somebody stand up anybody stand up and try to stop this uh massive fiscal

00:05:15.280 mismanagement this humongous just out of control massive keynesian stimulus even the oracle of

00:05:24.380 omaha warren buffett said this weekend he said hey the uh this model we have this business model we

00:05:30.740 have uh in the united states is unsustainable it's not unsustainable about energy it is unsustainable

00:05:38.020 because of the way it's financed and this is going to have to stop and he said hey the uniparty

00:05:43.900 has no ability to stop the spending so what the only way to get around this is you're going to see

00:05:49.640 massive and this was his words massive tax increases on the middle class

00:05:54.160 that is uh that is all all coming uh richard stern joins us from heritage an article up on

00:06:01.740 politico and you have to explain it to people um 1.6 trillion dollars they've they've got this bill

00:06:08.580 they passed a couple years ago they can't even figure about how to spend the money so instead of

00:06:13.100 rescind it and cut it off they're now in some sort of uh panic about how they're going to get it out

00:06:18.240 richard this this is the central question of time i think this is actually bigger than the invasion on

00:06:22.860 the southern border i think it's bigger than the other third crisis the beginning of the kinetic

00:06:26.840 part of the third world war because if we don't get this right this is republic ending and as you

00:06:31.900 can tell yesterday in the house nobody or very few people have the guts to stand up and say this too

00:06:38.580 must end your thoughts sir well this is as the old adage goes going out with a whimper and not a bane

00:06:44.260 you know so i think you hit the nail on the head there which is that what this is about is the slow

00:06:49.580 bleeding dry of the american public over decades of the uniparty quietly and slowly sapping your value

00:06:56.960 like pouring water into the wine of your life savings by simply printing money at the fed

00:07:01.980 by using it to take all of the value out of your savings and transfer it to the government you know

00:07:08.060 the monologues we just watched there they were trying to find every word they possibly could to

00:07:12.760 say you know americans are shocked at how expensive stuff is yeah that's the whole point that's why the

00:07:18.460 economy is so bad because the government steals all of that value of your paycheck makes it impossible

00:07:24.220 for you to afford a good home in a safe neighborhood and to put food on the table and then they're shocked

00:07:30.520 that people hate the uniparty and hate the government about it i mean what is there to be shocked about

00:07:35.360 but this is what they do this is how they've been doing it and you're absolutely right there isn't yet

00:07:40.200 the guts in dc enough to just leave with people the money that they worked hard to earn until we get

00:07:46.240 there we're going to need to keep fighting richard i'm going to get into the budget a minute and what

00:07:51.740 we're into this budget year and i'm hearing already about top line numbers that are going to shock this

00:07:55.780 audience of really no no no no real change in direction but i want to go back to andrew ross sorkin

00:08:01.920 and this kind of mantra you see on msnbc you see on cnbc you're seeing it on cnn our economy is the

00:08:10.140 strongest in the world the economy we just came off a quarter of 1.6 i mean how can he say it's

00:08:16.680 the strongest in the world how can they allow biden to say it's the strongest world without being

00:08:20.680 challenged we just had a quarter and correct me if i'm wrong that had 1.6 growth in gdp but we added

00:08:29.540 i think 800 billion dollars in debt so basically 800 billion dollars in debt we bought 300 billion

00:08:35.860 dollars or so in growth that's so anemic i mean we're in stagflation and it looks like we're going

00:08:41.220 to go through the lost decades of what the japanese did why does his statement that we have the

00:08:47.340 strongest economy in the world go unchallenged because they've got control over the media over

00:08:53.540 congress they've got control over the universities i mean what's been happening recently hamas has taken

00:08:59.280 over most of the universities in this country that's the work of this left-wing unit party we're talking

00:09:05.040 about here but you know i think the important part and i think you make the right point there

00:09:09.500 that what we've been seeing recently is anemic but you know when they say oh the u.s is the wealthiest

00:09:14.900 most advanced country blah blah blah what are they really talking about they're talking about a 200

00:09:20.200 year plus foundation set by the founders of this country produced worked on built on by good moral

00:09:26.880 people in the united states the people that cherish the founders values that represent the way that we do

00:09:32.040 business in america they built a country that is beyond impressive because they were devoted to

00:09:37.680 those traditional values to god's law to a moral society so what they have been doing is bleeding dry

00:09:44.460 like a parasite off of the inertia of what the founders did and the first 200 or so years of our

00:09:50.800 nation's history so is it still a very strong country of course it is but the last 40 60 years have

00:09:57.940 been the left slowly eating away at our institutions our values and the fabric of our economy to the

00:10:03.780 point where i think you're right we're on the precipice of lost decades the way the japanese went through

00:10:08.620 the way the greeks have gone through and it's all a result of this unit party slowly stealing us 0.99

00:10:13.740 strangling our ability to do things you know warren buffett is no friend of trump and no fan of maga

00:10:20.740 but uh and i think this was the first time they had the annual gathering in omaha for uh berkshire

00:10:27.300 hathaway uh without charlie munger but he had some things to say about the economy it's the first time

00:10:33.340 i've heard him come out and actually talk about the unsustainability of the business model and the

00:10:37.960 increases in debt and he was pretty blunt uh he he charged the and remember this guy's a democrat he

00:10:44.080 charged the uniparty on capitol hill with being and he didn't sing a republicans or democrats the

00:10:49.500 uniparty for being not having the political will to basically cut spending the way you need to cut

00:10:55.400 it to get on some sort of sustainable path we didn't have these massive annual deficits and he

00:11:00.040 gave a warning shot because the people who invest in berkshire hathaway obviously invest in other

00:11:05.180 opportunities he told him he says hey the only way out of here because you can't sustain this the

00:11:09.960 only way out is that you have to have you're going to have to have massive tax increases and he

00:11:15.140 essentially said massive tax increases on the middle class uh your thoughts about warren buffett

00:11:20.740 in his uh in his look at the future well to be fair he's spent decades pushing for tax increases

00:11:27.160 on the middle class you know i think what we're seeing now which is interesting i agree with you

00:11:30.840 that it's it's bizarre it's a canary in the mine shaft that even he is starting to pull back the

00:11:36.620 curtain on this machine of the fed printing dollars that are not representative of real productive

00:11:42.500 capacity that merely add inflation to the economy and try to boil the frog in the pot but you know

00:11:48.420 what's happening though is he and other people like him who have pushed for that spending who

00:11:53.100 have frankly made investments backed on where that government spending goes where the fed prints new

00:11:58.900 money to send your purchasing power to he's made investments and profits on that he and and the group

00:12:04.940 of people like him have been doing that for decades driving the spending the whole time through saying

00:12:10.040 hey why don't we tax and it's never really a tax on him it's a tax on small business owners it's a tax

00:12:16.520 on mid-sized businesses their taxes that would mean that poor americans that middle-income americans

00:12:22.180 can't get new job opportunities can't see rising wages so he's been pushing for that for decades he has

00:12:28.920 been part of this problem and now of course what you're seeing is this breaking apart this

00:12:33.720 fractionalization of the uh the uniparty where their own people like him are starting to recognize that

00:12:39.300 the ship is about to sink are trying to grab the first lifeboats and say i didn't do that

00:12:43.920 i haven't been pushing that for decades listen to me i'll tell you how to bail it out and of course

00:12:48.580 the bailing out is always more taxes so you know what i mean i think this is the racket that we've been

00:12:54.300 seeing so while i'm glad that he's starting to highlight what's going on i would have appreciated

00:12:58.640 him not having spent the last few decades creating this problem in the in the get-go

00:13:02.860 talk about a problem that's come over decades uh i'm hearing i didn't want to know because

00:13:08.360 you're inside baseball on this they're working through now the top line numbers for the budget

00:13:14.860 that we have to have done the appropriations we have to have done by 30 september mtg in the morning

00:13:19.640 show said hey let me tell you because of the and i thought she got tremendous support yesterday but

00:13:26.280 she said by not outing johnson we are basically going to go into a situation you're going to have

00:13:32.180 to have another cr on september 30th one your thoughts on that but two i'm not hearing massive

00:13:38.340 budget cuts that even the republicans are putting forward i'm hearing 60 billion to 100 billion dollars

00:13:42.940 somewhere around that where biden put up 7.3 trillion dollar proposed budget i'm hearing that

00:13:51.280 this thing could come in at seven trillion dollars or north uh any thoughts on this well i think it's

00:13:56.140 definitely going to be and i think she's probably right about that but you know this is again this

00:14:00.320 is the ruse they run here where they tried to do a shell game but it's all the same members of congress

00:14:05.260 who push for the spending who want the earmarks for their district they go home and say hey i know

00:14:10.080 inflation's bad but i got you this grant i got you this thing for you my donor you know my specific

00:14:17.280 special interest so they're going to keep right on doing that and you know i i think that's exactly

00:14:22.140 what's going on here which is the the pennies the republicans in congress talk about cutting

00:14:26.660 pales in comparison to the trillions of dollars of biden's asking for that the left that the

00:14:32.560 democrats just sailed through that 1.6 trillion you were talking about the in the monologue and you

00:14:37.860 know as you were pointing out before they can't even figure out how to spend this money as fast

00:14:41.740 so think of it this way you've got conservatives with air quotes you're pretending to be who say

00:14:47.760 well i'm going to cut a dollar here or a dollar there while biden is out there trying to figure

00:14:52.240 out how to divvy up a 1.6 trillion dollar you know boondoggle to his donors and his friends this is why

00:14:59.520 we're bankrupt until we get real conservatives in congress we're going to keep at this kind of shell

00:15:04.620 game uh walk me through uh president trump we win in november he takes over and we get through

00:15:12.180 mark elias and jamie raskin trying to thwart him from taking office we get there on uh january 20th

00:15:18.800 um talk to me with the tax cuts going away the trump tax cuts another seven trillion dollars

00:15:27.860 republicans will agree to in some sort of cr in the our omnibus bill in the in the lame duck

00:15:33.720 um how's president trump how are we going to make the case that we've got to also have these the tax

00:15:40.880 cuts got to go back in because the democrats are immediately going to flip and go oh my god these

00:15:44.780 deficits are so huge uh even the tax cuts at least in the first couple of years may add to that before

00:15:50.560 they kick in like they did last time to be actually very net positive but you got to take a little bit

00:15:55.180 of uh there's a little bit of gap there walk me through how that's going to happen because everybody's

00:15:59.840 very focused on the trump tax cuts i've been telling people you're you're embedding a situation

00:16:05.020 that we're not going to be able to get to it because of where we're going to be financially sir

00:16:10.080 well and that's what they're trying to do actually right they want to try to kill this as much as

00:16:13.740 possible and give that money to their friends so i think the simple way that i'd say this to people is

00:16:18.600 whether it's deficits or tax increases that's the way the government steals from you and so at some

00:16:25.640 level it doesn't really matter if the government steals from you for there are more deficits or by

00:16:31.340 raising taxes or keeping taxes high and in fact an enormous amount of both fall ultimately on those

00:16:37.760 small and mid-sized businesses that employ most people that drive new innovative technology so for

00:16:43.160 the democrats to say oh my god you know if we cut taxes again for most americans or for small businesses

00:16:48.800 the debt will be bigger sure but it means we're cutting taxes the problem with the left is

00:16:54.140 they raise the deficit or raise taxes or both to fund more government spending i.e. more government

00:17:01.840 control and intrusion into our lives you know the quiet socialism of the government just simply owning

00:17:08.300 everything in the country so that's why it's still important to do the tax cuts because you're right even

00:17:14.320 if there's a little bit of a delayed impact it frees the economy it counters the socialism and gives

00:17:20.140 people back the money they earn the control over their businesses the control over their futures

00:17:24.640 and so that's why it's good to cut the taxes actually independent of the deficit impact because

00:17:30.100 ultimately deficits and taxes are just two different sides of the same coin of the government stealing

00:17:35.920 from you it's unbelievable uh richard where can everybody go to get your analysis over at heritage

00:17:41.400 and to follow you guys are putting up updates you're you're very active on social media

00:17:45.500 where do folks go i appreciate you can find me at rich a stern on twitter and of course you can find

00:17:51.580 the the stuff i write on heritage.org as well along with that of all my colleagues and everything we're

00:17:56.140 doing to try to fight this good fight and as always thanks for having me on to highlight these sites

00:18:00.260 thanks richard it's another long tough fight um i keep telling people you got to look at the you got

00:18:06.820 to look at president trump right now it's one year we got to look at it in a one year component

00:18:10.580 breaking down to three pieces one piece is between now and november and we're going to have a ton of

00:18:15.740 speed bumps as you saw in the five o'clock hour with the stormy dangerous situation all of their

00:18:20.980 lawfare falling apart but trust me they have not given up on that you got mark elias after we win

00:18:25.760 with massive turnout in november you got mark elias and those demons have set all these traps

00:18:31.300 that somehow they're going to try to reverse this thing and try to not allow president trump to close

00:18:37.260 on the victory just like they didn't close in the victory in 2020 you watch it's all coming

00:18:41.460 then once we get it then you know jamie were asking still particularly if they take the house even with

00:18:46.640 one vote they're going to try to sit there and not see him because he's an insurrectionist all of that

00:18:51.980 is coming you can see that very clearly what they're doing after we blow through all that and actually get

00:18:58.000 to the inauguration day the first hundred days which would basically end around this time the first

00:19:03.000 hundred days of president trump's uh second term is going to be a firefight and remember his tax cuts

00:19:11.380 go away right then he's going to be in a massive fiscal crisis an economic crisis an invasion on the

00:19:18.520 southern border crisis we got to seal the border and then start the mass deportations and you've got

00:19:23.680 the kinetic part of the third world war from ukraine uh to to the to israel to the red sea to the south

00:19:30.900 china see all of those coming together and one thing and at the time he's got to then make the case

00:19:36.640 to put these tax cuts back in and the tax you just do the math at least even in i think the first or

00:19:41.840 second year there's a little bit increase to the deficit of my math if i remember my math correctly

00:19:46.780 this is we're all building up this fight that's why this budget right here should be one where you

00:19:53.460 start you start down low a 400 a four to 500 billion dollar cut right out of the box you can do it

00:19:58.680 we can go back to the pre-pandemic days which i think in president trump's last budget i think

00:20:04.600 was five trillion dollars just over five trillion dollars right there you cut a trillion and a half

00:20:07.960 dollars off by just going back to the pre-pandemic and we had plenty of government then they're going

00:20:12.620 to argue oh you don't have the military you don't have the military increases well we have to be

00:20:17.580 convinced these military increases are smart we have to be convinced that we're not uh looking the

00:20:22.880 other way on on economic warfare on using our capital markets and using cutoff to technology which

00:20:28.560 people are not we're not playing smash mouth we're not playing hardball one thing about these

00:20:34.620 taxes and look that if you think that fight for the trump tax cut originally was tough and it was

00:20:41.100 very tough and took a long time it took us the entire first year wasn't approved i think to right

00:20:45.060 before christmas uh this is nothing like what the second to to reinstall those tax cuts after they go away

00:20:52.160 is going to be an absolutely brutal fight this is why one of the because we only take sponsors that

00:20:57.740 really tie in to our our content tax network usa this is what you keep saying go to tnusa.com

00:21:05.740 slash bannon but go there today figure talk about these tax experts particularly if you haven't filed

00:21:12.160 or if you've gotten a letter from the irs it's all a process you just have to engage in the process you

00:21:18.040 have to engage with the folks from tax network usa don't do just put the letter in the drawer you can't

00:21:24.360 do that that's not going to work and here's why they hire 10 000 new irs agents for one reason to

00:21:31.040 come after the middle class and working class people they're not going to go after the wealthy

00:21:35.180 the wealthy have battalions of uh tax lawyers tax accountants i mean people that just specialize not

00:21:41.800 just lawyers people specialize in tax laws not just accountants and auditors but people that specialize

00:21:47.560 in the tax aspects of that so they're coming after you and they've got to get blood from the stone

00:21:53.280 it's just it's obvious it's obvious what they're going to try to do to pay for this apparatus they

00:21:58.960 want you to pay for it we had uh we had uh brody mullins on today earlier from the wall street journal

00:22:05.380 talking about the wolves of k street they're not coming after the wolves of k street because that's

00:22:10.060 dialed into the system they feel that you're just a support function for the system and it's a support

00:22:15.880 function what you're supposed to do is pay and pay up and so they're going to be all over that tax

00:22:20.580 network usa go check it out today other the other thing i'm gonna try to get records on tomorrow it's

00:22:26.480 a bunch of stuff i gotta get him if not it'll be monday or tuesday he's become a new contributor

00:22:30.000 but make sure and people love him when he comes on go check out strategic intelligence

00:22:35.100 that's his newsletter you do it by going to records war room that's all one word records war room

00:22:41.380 he's thrown in the free book he's just redone a book they did a couple years ago but it's it's a

00:22:46.780 it's an analysis of uh uh ron paul's uh the new gold standard uh or returning to the gold standard

00:22:55.960 returning to gold called the case for gold ron paul put it out i think back even in the 80s uh with

00:23:03.280 president reagan to make an argument they had a commission to decide not to go to the gold standard

00:23:07.600 he put the case out why they should make sure you go read it remember here's the interesting thing

00:23:11.980 he's not a gold bug he's never been a guy said we should go to a gold standard but he writes the

00:23:16.040 new case for gold and you should get it also see if you can't get him to give you a currency wars

00:23:20.400 because currency wars are very important particularly as you're seeing everything about the chinese 0.95

00:23:25.340 communist party now not just hoarding gold but hoarding other resources like oil and natural gas

00:23:30.440 people think that they may be on the verge of a massive devaluation uh to kind of reset their economy

00:23:36.160 so make sure also when you go to gym see if you can't kick in currency wars also it's an absolutely

00:23:41.560 incredible book uh ben harnwell is going to join me right after the break um another incredible day

00:23:48.300 both and this is what my biggest problem is with johnson and this is why we continue on this

00:23:53.380 okay from the morning shows the afternoon shows we're not seeing the action we clearly have his

00:23:59.600 attention because now he's running around saying all this different stuff he's talking about uh you

00:24:04.320 know mass deportations he's talking about uh you know the committees about uh they they're

00:24:09.660 they're violating uh with lawfare they're violating the rule of law we've heard all the talk

00:24:14.500 it's time now beyond talk because you're on the clock that vote yesterday was a terrible vote for you

00:24:20.500 that was much tougher than the original vote for uh for um mccarthy if the democrats had sided with

00:24:28.940 hakeem jeffries today uh mike johnson be gone he absolutely gone everybody gone as of last night

00:24:36.360 hakeem jeffries and the democrats saved him why he's essentially been uh submissive to hakeem jeffries

00:24:43.280 and passed everything biden wanted everything hakeem jeffries wanted hasn't made any cuts anywhere

00:24:48.820 you've got this horrific uh spending he didn't use any of the leverage to shut down the government

00:24:54.740 and bring biden to the negotiating table in washington dc the only thing they respond to

00:25:01.160 is power it's a spiritual war at the end of the day when you look at the parties and you look at the

00:25:06.400 groups and you look at what's in back of them it's a spiritual war but it manifests itself

00:25:10.000 in the physical sphere and this is what the problem is is that we're not using leverage we're not being

00:25:17.220 fighters and i can tell you from eli crane saying patient and pace in arizona they gave him a standing

00:25:23.760 ovation and we're booing johnson when he says which way should i vote the same thing happened

00:25:29.340 last night in palm beach florida which is a totally different crowd totally different but exactly the

00:25:35.160 same you know why they're american patriots and they're american patriots who not just love this

00:25:40.980 country they're american patriots to say let's get it on it's time for a fight and a fight we have

00:25:47.400 and this is why obviously getting president trump through this but johnson right now first order of

00:25:54.120 business has got to be impaneled get judiciary committee off the dime get judiciary committee

00:25:59.620 with a formal formal formal investigation let the subpoenas fly the democrats are not going to

00:26:06.360 stop coming after you're not going to stop coming after president trump not trying to destroy they will

00:26:10.540 not uh stop in their their path of destroying the america we know and love until they're braced up

00:26:18.240 the first step of bracing up preserve your documents send the subpoenas let's get in front of congress

00:26:23.680 with those tape depositions like you saw pomerantz you saw pomerantz take the fifth across the board okay we

00:32:15.900 and making it part of your financial thing then you got to talk to experts they got all kind of

00:32:19.860 instruments of how to do it they know you know they they know this market uh very very well so go to

00:32:25.640 birchgold.com slash bannon ben hardwell i started the speech in palm beach last night talking about

00:32:31.700 victory in europe day i don't remember capitol hill i gotta check this out i don't remember capitol

00:32:37.320 having any commemoration yesterday for ve day the 79th anniversary and just uh commemoration

00:32:45.200 incredible but the russians do it the following day this is victory day normally where they roll out

00:32:51.740 the tanks and the missiles and and really commemorate uh and and they take it as their

00:32:56.600 victory over the german army uh give me your assessment of that particularly as you look

00:33:00.960 european-wide where we are today and with this ukraine war on the 79th anniversary of the russians uh

00:33:07.740 claiming their stake in the victory over the nazis that's right steve well and they simply put the

00:33:13.760 reason that the russians celebrate this victory in europe day on the ninth um it's simply because

00:33:19.100 they're a couple of hours ahead um moscow's a couple of hours ahead so when the official ceasefire

00:33:24.880 kicked in i think it was 11 p.m or something on london time um uh on on may the 8th that was that was

00:33:32.220 that that had already started as one in the morning on on may the 9th so that's why they have a slightly

00:33:37.740 different day um of course it fits in perfectly dovetails perfectly for for the russians for for

00:33:44.100 for vladimir putin uh who started his war in ukraine but we do call it a war we don't call

00:33:49.480 it a special military operation we call it a war um he invaded ukraine because um he said he wanted

00:33:57.140 to denazify the country and of course the biden regime the ursula von der leyen the presidents of 0.99

00:34:03.860 the european commission the world's mainstream media basically everybody piled in saying everyone

00:34:10.260 apart from of course the war room piled in um saying this is absolutely ridiculous there are no nazis

00:34:15.760 in in ukraine this is just a pretext um and of course what we've seen what even now the mainstream

00:34:23.180 media itself the more honest elements of it um are starting to demonstrate is there are nazis

00:34:29.680 neo-nazis pro-nazi movements very very powerful positions um in ukraine and of course that sort of

00:34:36.960 that double dovetails nicely for putin right now um to to remind his own people the russian people

00:34:44.000 as to why they went in so what denver's very kindly popped up here on the screen now is an article in

00:34:49.340 the times murdoch press um and this basically says now steve look i follow ukraine probably more closely

00:34:56.880 than i've over the last two and a half years more closely than i've ever followed any political foreign

00:35:02.840 affairs event um in my life i've pretty much read every single article i've spoken to people journalists

00:35:08.580 who've been out there to ukrainians who are here um i like to think i'm informed on what's going on in

00:35:14.060 the country um there was something emerged uh a factoid a factoid in in in the times and i have to say i

00:35:21.880 didn't know this um since 2017 there'd been a ban on in the united states on u.s arms going to the

00:35:32.180 the azov brigade the azov battalion because of its um since 2017 okay uh because of its uh decade-old

00:35:41.360 accusations uh of nazi links that's all the time steve that the white house um was coming out and

00:35:49.680 saying you know it's absolutely ridiculous there are no nazi elements in ukraine well they were 0.98

00:35:55.980 very well they were saying that they themselves knew that they had and it didn't originate with

00:36:01.000 it with the biden white house um since 2017 there had been an export embargo of arms manufactured by

00:36:10.880 the united states to go in into ukraine to this specific brigade the azov brigade um so that was a

00:36:17.320 buried uh fact in this article um which i think just sort of illustrates everything and of course

00:36:23.020 it goes on to the other it sort of follows this story that we found that we hit a couple of weeks

00:36:27.940 ago on the war room about this russian nationalist who who who who left russia um um this uh this is a

00:36:38.360 guy who left russia because of his open pro-nazi pro-nationalist sympathies spent a couple couple of

00:36:45.780 years in germany where the german uh security services said this guy's a guy to watch he's a

00:36:51.680 nationalist this guy then went to ukraine um and was helping fight against his own ethnic russians

00:36:59.680 helping zelensky fight them why because russia under putin wasn't nationalist enough for him and

00:37:05.640 ukraine was so all these things are starting to emerge now and i think it does feed in to um to 0.67

00:37:13.040 putin's narrative and though the parallels with the 79 years ago and and the the huge fights that are

00:37:20.280 then allies obviously that the soviet union had made the huge massive sacrifices that they'd made

00:37:25.360 fighting nazism these things will all go together for them steve but one thing it doesn't seem like

00:37:34.900 the um the ultra-nationalist russians that are nazis and the azov brigade which i think are ukrainians

00:37:45.900 that are nazis they're also ultra-nationalist uh correct me if i'm wrong as i've kept up with those

00:37:52.240 two and followed them they don't seem like they have a recruiting problem the recruiting problem he

00:37:57.980 seems to have is with the general overall ukrainian army remember he had the two generals

00:38:02.400 two the most revered guys in ukraine stood up to uh stood up to zelensky and uh and said look at an

00:38:11.580 average age of 42 years old uh and since these now tactics are very much like the uh the western front

00:38:19.960 of what in world war one essentially trench warfare where you're giving up lives for inches every day

00:38:27.220 uh we need a massive infusion 500 000 this year of kids give me an update on that because

00:38:35.480 it seems like it appears like two of the most robust fighting elements in the ukrainian army

00:38:43.160 happen to be nazis now we were told by msmec and cnn that that was all a lie that was all

00:38:49.680 misrepresentation not to go back to the commemoration of the great victory and to bring up

00:38:54.520 you know unpleasant uh times but when the vermark came across uh ukraine in uh you know in 19 uh

00:39:03.540 1941 uh they had at least half the country of the ukrainians at least half the country was on the

00:39:11.160 site now stalin and the bolsheviks had starved five million ukrainians and many jewish people i would 0.92

00:39:19.380 actually argue that this is just one level down or two levels down from the holocaust itself they had 0.82

00:39:26.040 starved uh being and they were it's kansas it is one of the most fertile places in the world that grain

00:39:33.260 was all shipped back to to russia because russia was turning the their peasants and serfs into a mass 0.97

00:39:39.760 industrialization movement they wanted all the all the uh all the agriculture come from ukraine

00:39:44.860 so i could see why uh ukrainians had a uh were not big fans of the red army not big fans of of

00:39:52.700 stalin but this history of world war ii which is also predicated by vendettas to go back centuries

00:40:00.020 and centuries is the lived experience of that area today and that's why americans who by the way

00:40:06.640 don't really think much about world war ii today unless they're seeing a movie uh you know of steven

00:40:11.520 spielberg or you know like i said last night in the speech the world war ii for americans is pearl

00:40:16.940 harbor uh normandy the holocaust and uh hiroshima and that's it over there it's a lived experience

00:40:24.720 even today and it seems like we've been financing uh and maybe we had an embargo on asa but we've been

00:40:31.860 financing uh something that at least putin said denazification he may not be that wrong but it

00:40:39.220 looks like two of the most robust fighting units they've got are the ultra-nationalist russians

00:40:44.280 who thinks putin's a wimp and uh the azov were just flat out nazis including the insignias on their

00:40:51.460 uniform sir that's right steven you mentioned you touched there uh an important point to understand

00:40:58.440 the internal political dynamics obviously this is the time when uh yesterday uh when putin was just

00:41:04.860 inaugurated for his fifth term uh as president but um within the dynamic of russia he you know

00:41:12.540 he's obviously cast by the world's the western mainstream media as being some kind of ultra

00:41:19.080 nationalist exponent within the the cast out from from the russian political system he's actually

00:41:25.700 got different factions himself that he has to balance and to his own right flank if one can use

00:41:31.320 like there are people who are a lot more um nationalist uh than he is and bombarding him on social

00:41:37.820 media for for his moderation in ukraine so he he does have that right flank um and it's not an

00:41:44.520 insignificant one i'd say i'd put it personally at about between 10 and 15 percent of the pop of the

00:41:50.120 russian population actually think that um that putin is too moderate that's a non-insignificant

00:41:57.320 proportion um so he does have his own factions like as any you know even dictators have their

00:42:03.680 have factions even even dictators without elections have factions that they have to balance um and that's

00:42:09.600 definitely the case in russia as well um now with regards to the manpower issue um there's something

00:42:15.720 that emerged today uh which which i think you'll find interesting uh this is from a uh an mp a

00:42:23.000 parliamentarian from zelensky's servants uh of the people party elena shulia who put out on social

00:42:30.720 media a new measure that hasn't yet been confirmed by president zelensky but it's something that they're

00:42:36.220 working on this is this is basically an illustration steve of how professor uh meersheimer's uh prophecy

00:42:43.360 sad tragic prophecy that the west was going to fight russia down to the last ukraine how how fighting

00:42:49.940 ukraine down to the last ukraine that actually looks in practice you remember that we touched

00:42:54.920 a couple of weeks ago on the show how and this is unheard of in modern combat when someone loses a

00:43:01.060 limb um and they have a prosthetic put on those people you know they're they're never sent back to

00:43:06.840 the front line in any theater of war they are being um in ukraine people who've lost like two limbs

00:43:13.280 are being strapped together and sent back that's fighting that's fighting russia down to the last

00:43:19.940 ukrainian there's this story today and what they're doing now is they're trying to mobilize uh prisoners

00:43:26.180 um to try to boost their ranks and you can see that the problem that they have here is that not everyone

00:43:33.600 is going to be eligible for this uh call up the mo the mobilization for example steve will not apply

00:43:40.240 to prisoners um convicted of the willful killing of more than two people so if you've killed one

00:43:47.160 person that's fine um you you can you can you can go to the front line if you killed more uh if you

00:43:53.780 killed both and two people obviously they have their standards they're not going uh hold on hang on

00:43:59.080 hang on it's not it's not hang on it's not if you killed one person you're fine if you killed two 0.76

00:44:03.260 people you're fine you killed a couple not a problem you kill a couple plus one you got a problem

00:44:09.000 right you can't serve yeah yeah basically steve this is fight this is what it looks like in

00:44:15.760 practice when you are when one country is being used to fight another country down to its last 0.82

00:44:20.740 citizen this is exactly you know it sounds ridiculous it sounds like you know it's just a 0.98

00:44:24.960 joke on the onion no it's it's absolutely true this is what is happening in a country that is finding 0.97

00:44:29.800 it's it's it's fight available fighting force depleted every day because the russians are 0.99

00:44:35.680 accelerating they're they're they're not they're not pausing but hang on they're increasing their

00:44:40.820 drone bombardments don't don't don't don't bury the lead the lead is there is a rational actor in this

00:44:47.020 that's the parents of the young men remember the whole reason for the call for volunteers that failed

00:44:53.240 and then going and taking a year it took them a year to get passage on this uh on this draft because

00:45:00.480 they knew that could bring down the zelinski government in an overthrow it took them a year

00:45:05.040 to get through and it's not even really being implemented is that the parents were paying up to

00:45:10.880 ten thousand dollars i think these are people who make nine fifty uh nine hundred fifty dollars a month

00:45:15.540 they're paying up to five and ten thousand dollars to get their kids out of there and get them into the 0.99

00:45:20.700 rest of europe why they understand that this is not really fighting for ukraine anymore the whole

00:45:26.760 situation with the eastern provinces russian speaking province of the boss and crimea we have

00:45:32.520 said on the show has been settled for a while right unless you go unless the the west goes tactical nuke

00:45:38.860 uh and then he'll hit you back you're not going to get those territories back because the entire

00:45:44.420 momentum has been on the been on the other side and zelinski's thrown so much so much not just money

00:45:50.900 and firepower into this or at least half of what we sent over there but he's turned this into a

00:45:56.520 charnel house for young people the the parents understand what's going on they don't want their

00:46:00.980 kids involved in this and they don't care what general steps up they don't care what uh zelinski

00:46:05.400 has to say they don't care all the speeches or all victoria newland going over there they're adamant

00:46:10.680 their kids their most precious asset are not going to get thrown into the into the fire pit of war

00:46:16.840 over there sir steve that's right um but it's not only kids um that are being that are being

00:46:23.880 removed from the fire firing line because of their concerned parents to come back to this bill if i

00:46:30.600 may just to finish this um this bill that's just had its second reading in in the um in the ukrainian

00:46:36.440 parliament um also exempted are um people convicted this is exempted from mobilization mobilization

00:46:46.600 steve people convicted while holding important political positions won't be sent to the front

00:46:53.800 oh my god that's disgusting that's revolting that's revolting no that's revolting that that's why this 0.98

00:47:02.680 whole thing's sick and us funding it is sick these people these people are the worst zelinski in that 1.00

00:47:07.960 crowd they're gonna they're driving this every day they're taking from america taxpayers and they exempt

00:47:14.120 themselves their buddies and their friends children because they're important political positions 0.58

00:47:20.120 that's exempt i i i i don't know why the parents in ukraine do not overthrow this crowd it's sick

00:47:27.400 it's twisted and it's sick and it's led to everything we said it was going to lead to we've been dead spot

00:47:32.280 on in this in over the two years that we covered this fiasco and for the people that funded it the

00:47:37.640 victorian newlands of the world they'll burn in a deep pit of hell for what they did to the ukrainian 0.99

00:47:42.600 people on this ben harnwell we got to bounce any any closing observations

00:47:49.080 the war is going badly for ukraine i've got a couple of articles we don't have time to hit them

00:47:54.360 now but this is for example i just mentioned these things i'll post them perhaps um on our rumble

00:47:59.800 channel where there's more space uh to do these things an article in the washington post that refers

00:48:06.120 to the meat grinder of the war uh talking about how russian and ukrainian casualties are rising

00:48:12.440 that's on the the the headline steve that the war they're the meat grinder you know it's it's almost

00:48:17.400 now to see sort of terminology that we've been using on the war room it's now filtering through to the

00:48:23.160 mainstream media and that's of course the langley bugle itself um and i think that's of a certain

00:48:28.520 interest an article in nick similar story in the economist ukraine's draft judges are living in

00:48:34.280 fair hold no hold those back i want to go into those tomorrow because the ukraine thing they're

00:48:40.680 about to drop on the american people which they lied about they're about to drop on the american

00:48:45.160 people they are they are working on a 10-year financing plan for the war 10 years which is

00:48:52.040 going to lead into this budget more importantly they are handcuffing president trump every day as they

00:48:56.840 try to de-trumpify uh the budget going forward so when president trump would come back and take

00:49:02.680 office there's certain limitations on the sanctions against the russians certain limitations on nato

00:49:07.560 what he can do there and big limitations on what he can do for this 10-year funding plan they want to get

00:49:13.160 in place before election day so this is all we've been on this from the beginning this is a complete and

00:49:18.360 total scam and the people that are on our side are the parents of the kids uh in ukraine and you're

00:49:25.160 seeing they're doing everything possible to get their kids out of there make sure they try to have
