Classically Abby - 1142 Miles, 18 Hours, And A NEW Home! ｜｜ Moving Day FINALLY Here!

00:00:00.080 didn't end up working out that way we had a bit of a crazy night last night we made it here we did it

00:00:11.200 hello classic crew it is officially moving day and everything is getting packed up we woke up

00:00:18.480 in bed this morning and realized this was our last morning in omaha and nebraska and it's a

00:00:23.200 sad feeling but also we're really excited about what's coming and it's crazy to see the house

00:00:27.920 emptying out that's always a weird feeling but i wanted to bring you guys along with us on our

00:00:33.120 moving journey and then also take you with us because we are going to be driving from here

00:00:38.880 to virginia so i thought i would show you guys what we're up to before we leave i have to show you

00:00:45.920 how fall like is this grass right now with all of these fallen leaves oh my gosh literally i can't

00:00:53.600 get over it i'm gonna miss this big tree in our backyard it is changing colors right now and it is

00:01:01.360 so beautiful oh my gosh fall is so awesome this is what's left of my studio if you remember there were

00:01:09.200 lights in this general space i'll link my youtube studio up above here so you guys can see what it

00:01:16.960 normally looks like but yeah we're getting pretty close to loading this all out so i definitely didn't

00:01:24.080 expect to have time to go for a walk today but i do so i'm outside going for a little walk enjoying it

00:01:32.080 enjoying the beautiful weather right now and just kind of taking in the fact that this is not a very

00:01:40.320 difficult day last moving day was a little bit more stressful this one not so bad so it's kind of

00:01:47.040 nice so a little update we were going to be doing a move all in one day where they were going to take

00:01:54.320 our boxes and all that but didn't end up working out that way so we are actually going to be moving

00:02:01.520 tomorrow which means we're going to be here for an extra day so i guess we get one more morning to wake

00:02:06.080 up in our house and we'll be sleeping on an air mattress so it'll be a little bit different but

00:02:10.720 it's uh it's better than sleeping on the floor so

00:02:28.880 so

00:02:40.720 good morning so we are still in our house our movers have been amazing they actually knew that

00:02:59.360 we were going to have to be staying here overnight so they didn't pack up our bed so we could actually

00:03:03.760 sleep in our bed one more night which was so thoughtful and we didn't have to sleep on the air

00:03:08.160 mattress which i really appreciated and now i'm just kind of walking around the house and taking

00:03:13.520 a look and oh my goodness it is so empty it's such a weird feeling but it's exciting and i'm uh i'm

00:03:21.120 excited because today's going to be a very long driving day so i'll show you guys kind of what we're

00:03:27.040 seeing as we're driving around and we're doing a cross-country move so you'll see cross-country ish and

00:03:34.160 you will see what we're gonna do to kind of entertain ourselves we'll play trivia and we'll

00:03:39.200 listen to podcasts and all that kind of stuff but yeah so i'm feeling pretty good a little bit tired but

00:03:46.000 mostly just because the process of moving even if you're not doing all that much heavy lifting is

00:03:49.760 just stressful so keeping calm about it but let's get into it life hack when you're moving and you don't

00:03:57.600 have any coasters but you have a cup just pull out a drawer and use the inside of the drawer because

00:04:04.240 you're not gonna worry about damaging the inside you'll damage this part definitely if you put your

00:04:09.360 just cold cup on here but inside the drawer you're safe thinking with your head guys thinking with your

00:04:16.320 head okay guys the house is empty we are finally heading out but as you can see there is a crazy echo in

00:04:24.880 here so before we head out i thought i would sing one final note goodbye

00:04:54.880 you

00:05:24.880 Thank you.

00:05:54.880 Well, good morning.

00:06:06.140 We are in a hotel.

00:06:07.880 Jacob is showering and we had a bit of a crazy night last night.

00:06:13.620 We were trying to find a hotel to stay in overnight.

00:06:17.740 We were trying to do this trip in two days.

00:06:19.660 I'm not sure we'll be able to just because we got out pretty late yesterday.

00:06:22.780 So we'll see what ends up happening.

00:06:25.060 But last night we were looking for a hotel to stay overnight at and we stopped at one

00:06:31.420 place and it was just way too crowded.

00:06:34.340 So we didn't go inside.

00:06:35.860 And then we went to another place and they were totally booked.

00:06:39.140 And then we called like nine hotels and they were all booked.

00:06:44.320 So Jacob went on Google and he booked us a hotel and he drove an extra hour.

00:06:50.060 He's such a good husband.

00:06:50.980 I was so tired.

00:06:52.120 I couldn't make it through.

00:06:53.920 And so he drove that last hour and we got to the hotel and they said, I don't know why Google

00:06:58.600 is allowing people to make reservations.

00:07:00.620 We have no openings.

00:07:02.200 But thank goodness there is a hotel across the street that he was able to send us to.

00:07:09.440 They had some openings.

00:07:10.520 And so we were able to sleep there overnight.

00:07:13.120 But that was crazy.

00:07:16.280 That was so much extra driving than we anticipated because we were so exhausted and we just wanted

00:07:23.360 to go to sleep.

00:07:24.440 But it worked out and we went to bed and now I'm going to go grab some breakfast and we

00:07:31.800 will head out.

00:07:32.800 And before anyone asks, I'm wearing my glasses today and very minimal makeup because we're

00:07:37.060 just going to be driving.

00:07:38.240 And I didn't want to wear my contacts because just in case we do end up driving really late,

00:07:43.320 they can start to get dry about 12 hours in.

00:07:46.860 And that's not fun to drive with.

00:07:49.640 So I figured I would just wear my glasses, keep it simple.

00:07:52.500 These are actually blue light glasses and normal glasses.

00:07:55.340 So that's why the reflection on these is blue.

00:08:16.860 So that's why I'm so часто in off the street.

00:08:24.260 And I just keep praying for things.

00:08:27.660 And I found out how long we've been and me, keep it simple.

00:08:31.120 I swear.

00:08:31.800 So I'm gonna get a fancy seat.

00:08:36.520 I'm gonna walk you away.

00:08:39.480 So I'm gonna restrict your glasses,ụNINGampus,

00:08:42.020 which I'm going to contain.

00:08:42.880 Oh, my God.

00:08:44.100 So I just like to be focused,

00:08:45.780 I'm going to take a sec sec and take us afload.

00:08:46.580 Thank you.

00:09:16.580 Thank you.

00:09:46.580 Thank you.

00:10:16.600 So I took the bulk of driving today and he's going to take the driving part tonight.

00:10:20.840 So yeah, we're just taking a little break, relaxing, and we'll be back on the road.

00:10:25.120 As far as what we have done on the road to have fun, we've listened to some comedians.

00:10:31.260 We've listened to just podcasts and some great courses, which I really like.

00:10:38.400 We played a little bit of trivia.

00:10:39.960 We called his parents and we talked to family.

00:10:43.880 And yeah, it's been fine.

00:10:45.680 It's been good.

00:10:46.380 It hasn't been too bad.

00:10:47.520 And getting excited because we're getting closer to our final destination.

00:11:17.520 We'll be right back.

00:11:47.520 Well, it is officially two in the morning.

00:12:03.860 We made it here.

00:12:04.700 We did it.

00:12:06.260 We're exhausted.

00:12:07.460 We're in our new house.

00:12:09.760 It's very exciting.

00:12:11.560 I'm really looking forward to making it a home.

00:12:13.940 We don't have any of our stuff.

00:12:15.060 We just kind of have a few suitcases and all that.

00:12:17.820 But our stuff is arriving in just a few days and then we can unpack and really make it feel

00:12:22.520 homey.

00:12:23.380 But it's just a crazy thing.

00:12:25.600 So we're here.

00:12:26.420 We did it.

00:12:29.620 Good morning.

00:12:31.140 You can probably hear some sort of echo, but we are in the new sunroom and it's a new day.

00:12:37.720 I'm so excited.

00:12:39.020 The house is just beautiful and I'm really excited to start making it feel like a home.

00:12:43.480 So now that we're done with the actual traveling part, we have to get all of our stuff, which

00:12:47.120 isn't happening until a little bit later and then we'll have to unpack everything.

00:12:50.840 But we are in the house.

00:12:52.460 We're staying on an air mattress and we have water and electricity and that's all that we

00:12:57.040 need for the moment.

00:12:57.880 So we are making it work.
