00:01:03.760 So my first thing I want to talk about is three things that are all kind of in the same section,
00:01:08.240 and that has to do with my calendar, with my schedule.
00:01:12.100 So if you saw my last video, I talked about how important it is to have a schedule as a homemaker

00:01:20.800 So one of the ways that I do that is I use a paper calendar,
00:01:23.340 and I wanted to share the calendar that I use, the pens that I use, and one additional bonus item.

00:01:42.680 I personally like having my monthly view, and then I have a weekly calendar.
00:01:47.420 And in this calendar that I have, in this schedule, it separates it by to-do list,
00:01:51.820 and then it kind of gives you space to create a schedule.

00:01:57.060 Every day I need to have a to-do list of things I need to get done,
00:01:59.820 and then I have next to it how I'm going to organize that over the course of the day.
00:02:03.560 So this brings me to the next thing I think is really necessary, which is erasable pens.

00:02:10.700 I saw these recommended by another YouTuber named Shea Whitney, and they are the Friction brand.

00:02:19.100 Now, the reason they are important to me is because my schedule will change 10 times over the course of the day,
00:02:24.720 and I need to be able to write an initial schedule, erase when things change, and rewrite.

00:02:31.800 They come in 0.7 millimeters and 0.5 millimeters.
00:02:34.760 I am a fine-tipped pen girl, so I like the 0.5 millimeter one.
00:02:38.740 And they come in a bunch of different colors.
00:02:41.240 I think they work super well, and they give me flexibility when I'm writing out my schedule.
00:02:45.440 So the last thing I'm going to mention here that I think makes it even better,
00:02:48.780 and I haven't actually put this in my most recent calendar, but I should, is a pen loop holder.
00:02:54.600 So what you can do is this has a sticky back.
00:02:56.720 You put it on the back page of your calendar, and then on the side of your calendar,

00:03:17.440 The next item I want to talk about is this paper towel holder.
00:03:21.220 So I used to have a paper towel holder just right on the countertop,
00:03:24.740 and it would get pretty gross on the bottom because it was next to the sink,
00:03:28.160 and then when water would come out of the sink, it would stain the area on the countertop.
00:03:32.820 And I like also having cleaner countertops if possible because that gives me more room to work.
00:03:37.540 So I found this amazing paper towel holder that you can just stick onto your cabinet,
00:03:42.580 whether it be underneath or on the side.
00:03:44.440 For us, it's better on the side.
00:03:46.240 And we can put our paper towels on it, and it saves us room on the countertop
00:03:50.780 as well as gives us a really pretty addition to our kitchen.
00:03:54.620 Another addition to my kitchen, which I've been loving, is a vegetable chopper.
00:03:59.300 For a long time, I thought these were overhyped. I didn't really get the point.
00:04:03.280 And then I was thinking to myself, because I was chopping a lot of vegetables for vegetable soup,
00:04:07.160 you know, it would save me time, especially with something like onions,

00:04:26.860 It's a lot faster, and we can do a ton of different vegetables really quickly.

00:04:34.000 I've used it for chopping up herbs, and I've even used it to make, like, thin french fries.
00:04:39.360 So I really recommend checking something like this out if you do a lot of chopping in your kitchen.

00:04:45.360 I know some people think it's harder to clean than a knife,
00:04:47.660 but I think it's still much faster than chopping a bunch of vegetables.

00:04:55.200 So there's a couple of different things I've gotten from Amazon that I love.
00:04:59.160 One is the Swiffer WetJet.
00:05:01.040 Now, I keep the Swiffer WetJet not to do my entire house or my entire floor,
00:05:04.820 but this kind of crosses over into mom life category, into my mom life category.
00:05:10.060 But I use it for smaller messes around the house, especially around my son's high chair.
00:05:14.840 I like having a little mop that I can use really quickly to mop up any wet messes
00:05:19.860 and keep the floor clean in between major cleanups.
00:05:24.700 I will say, do not get the lavender-scented cleaning solution.
00:05:28.160 We tried that because it was highly recommended by the internet,
00:05:31.800 and it smelled like dirty diapers.

00:05:35.320 Once I switched over to the Gain scent, we've had no issues,
00:05:37.840 but we like having the Swiffer WetJet on hand.
00:05:40.980 It's just a nice, easy thing for quick cleanups.
00:05:43.540 For bigger cleanups and something that I use every week,
00:05:46.620 I recommend the Bissell CrossWave, and we have the cordless version.
00:05:50.460 This is a pricey investment, but I love it because it is a mop and a vacuum in one.
00:05:55.480 So I can do my entire house in one go.
00:05:58.140 The only thing I'll recommend with something like this is that it can be gross to clean up.
00:06:02.220 So I recommend using a pair of plastic gloves,
00:06:05.580 just disposable plastic gloves while you're doing the process of cleaning it
