00:01:03.960 video I am going to be sharing just 10 random Amazon purchases that I think you guys are really going to

00:01:09.740 love because they're really all over the place. They're like homemaking, cooking, clothing, just

00:01:15.740 anything that I've ordered in the last I don't know three or four months that I've really enjoyed

00:01:21.200 because to be honest I think as most of us do we make a lot of purchases on Amazon and it's really

00:01:27.260 really useful. It's just useful okay that we can get things delivered so easily when you have kiddos

00:01:34.000 running around it's nice to have something that can be here in two days. It's a blessing. So I am

00:01:40.320 going to share a few of the things that I've really been enjoying lately. I hope you guys love them too

00:01:45.180 and let's get into it. So number one is this new dress. I bought this dress actually for a photo

00:01:51.980 shoot for my website which is going to be updated. You're going to be seeing it soon-ish and I needed

00:02:00.380 something for the photo shoot that would go with what the website looks like. So I went on Amazon. I

00:02:05.200 was just searching dresses things that I thought looked attractive and pretty and this is what I

00:02:11.240 found and I absolutely love it. It's this wrap dress that's really flattering. For me it comes to

00:02:16.160 about mid-calf but I'm 5'8 so it might be longer on you if you're shorter than I am but it is so pretty

00:02:22.200 so attractive. I really think it would look good on a whole host of body types. The only thing that 0.98

00:02:28.320 I'll mention is that the fabric is not nice fabric. It's that polyester fabric that like cheaper dresses

00:02:34.620 are made of. I ordered it thinking it was cotton. It's not cotton. It's polyester so you know

00:02:40.840 that's not great but it's super flattering and it comes in a million different patterns and I might

00:02:47.380 order it in another color because it is something I feel really really good in. It's modest. It's

00:02:54.100 beautiful. It's feminine. All things we like here at Classically Abby. P.S. if you want to try any of

00:03:01.680 the things I am talking about they will all be linked in the description box below. Okay number two is a

00:03:07.060 cookbook that I ordered actually off of the recommendation of Leanne Says and I have to say

00:03:12.480 I haven't made anything from it yet so that's the caveat but I love the idea of it and I'm really

00:03:18.120 excited about it so I'm going to mention it anyways and it is called Cook Once Eat All Week and this book

00:03:24.040 is how to meal prep in a really effective simple way because I think so many of us including me are

00:03:30.040 like overwhelmed when we have to look at a Sunday and we're supposed to spend all day cooking and then

00:03:35.340 eat leftovers all week. It's just not the best but this book the way that she kind of teaches you how

00:03:41.520 to meal prep is if you prep three things each week then you can incorporate those into three or four

00:03:49.720 different recipes and so you're having all of the stuff that you need in advance and you might have to

00:03:55.540 do a little bit of cooking on the night of but it's a lot less than you would have to otherwise plus

00:04:01.420 you get to eat fresh food instead of leftovers so that was very appealing to me. I ordered it. The book

00:04:07.900 itself is really beautiful and it has a ton of recipes in it so I'm really excited about it. I'm

00:04:12.960 going to try it but if you're interested in trying it too it will be linked in the description box below.

00:04:18.580 Number three is my new vacuum mop thing. It's from Bissell. It's called the Crosswave. I'm looking at it

00:04:27.680 right now. It's in my peripheral vision. It's cordless and it's really awesome. So I ordered a

00:04:34.060 steam mop vacuum from Bissell as well and I liked it initially and I feel bad because I did recommend

00:04:40.700 it and I do think that it is still useful because this mop that I'm talking about now isn't a steam

00:04:46.520 mop so it doesn't steam and then get things off the floor. It's just a wet it's a wet mop but I like

00:04:53.400 this one better because it is cordless and because it doesn't just push the dirt around. So I love

00:05:01.300 this. I think it is great. I really enjoy how easy it is to do vacuuming and mopping at once. I don't

00:05:08.340 have to do one and then the other which takes forever. It's cordless so it doesn't get in your

00:05:13.940 way. It's self-cleaning. I mean there's you still have to clean some of it yourself but the machine

00:05:19.720 itself is self-cleaning so that's a little bit easier. I'm really excited about it. I really

00:05:24.500 enjoy using it. If you're somebody who has a lot of hardwood floor or a lot of tile in your house

00:05:29.500 and you want to be able to cut your cleaning time in half this is a really good option. It's expensive

00:05:36.020 but I think it's worth it. Number four is this winter vest crop vest. It's like a puffer cropped vest

00:05:42.600 so I keep saying the same thing over and over. Now the reason I'm recommending this now in my life

00:05:50.500 at this point in my life is that for many years I didn't understand the point of a puffer vest

00:05:56.500 because I have arms and my arms get cold. So if I was living in a cold environment I was kind of like

00:06:03.560 why am I wearing this vest thing when I can wear a puffer jacket and I don't have to be cold.

00:06:08.040 I liked the idea of it as a fashion accessory as a fashion item but like from a practical perspective

00:06:13.700 it didn't make sense to me. Then I moved to Florida and I was like oh I can just wear it as a fashion

00:06:19.840 accessory because it doesn't really get cold here or if it's cold it's like 65 degrees and it's 65

00:06:25.040 degrees I can wear something that's that doesn't cover my arms and I won't be freezing. So I ordered

00:06:31.040 this cropped vest. I really like it a lot. It's flattering because it's cropped and it has a thing you

00:06:37.920 can cinch at the bottom to make it a little bit more flattering even because when it's not cinched

00:06:42.920 it's kind of boxy but if you cinch the bottom then it looks really nice and you can wear it over some

00:06:48.360 really cute outfits. So I was pairing it with kind of a longer shirt underneath and then leggings and

00:06:54.960 then this just defined my waist and added just a little extra flair. I really think you will like it

00:07:00.300 too. Check it out. It comes in a lot of different colors and yeah just a good addition to your wardrobe.

00:07:05.660 Number five. Remington hot rollers. I'm obsessed with them. Okay here we go. I'm obsessed. Hot

00:07:14.480 rollers are the best thing that ever happened to my hair regimen because curling your hair with a

00:07:21.700 curling iron takes too long when you're a mom. You just don't have the time. At least I don't. Some 0.99

00:07:26.960 women do. I don't. So I have found that using the hair rollers these ones particularly have been great 1.00

00:07:33.720 is it's such a time saver because you can just put them in your hair in about 10 minutes and then you

00:07:38.560 just wear them until you want to take them out and then when you take them out your hair is so voluminous

00:07:43.660 it's kind of crazy looking but it will hold for me for at least two days maybe longer and it the initial

00:07:51.620 input was so much less time and also less dangerous. It's very hard to burn yourself with them and

00:07:59.180 especially when you have a baby around it's kind of scary to have something like a hot iron just

00:08:04.120 there. I find it a little worrisome whereas with this I don't worry that he's going to get hurt.

00:08:10.380 It just doesn't get that hot. So I really like the ones that I ordered. I used to have a different set

00:08:16.020 that were a travel set and I thought they were good but then when I tried this new set I realized that

00:08:21.320 the ones that I had were actually not very good at all because my hair would be very voluminous

00:08:26.180 initially and then it would hold the curl for like three hours and then fall out. These my hair

00:08:31.720 will hold a curl for a few days which is awesome. So really love these. If you're looking for a new

00:08:38.920 way to curl your hair that's faster and easier I recommend them. You can look up tutorials on

00:08:44.940 on YouTube. Maybe I can make a tutorial showing you how to do it. Mary Orton who's a woman that I 1.00

00:08:50.080 follow on Instagram has a whole tutorial. She does hers a little differently because she likes her waves 0.82

00:08:54.280 a lot bigger and more bouncy. I like mine tighter just because my hair doesn't hold a curl very well

00:09:00.440 so if I go for a loose wave initially it won't hold long at all. So I really love these. Try them

00:09:08.600 out. Number six are these soap dispensers. Random right? So my one of my goals when I moved into this

00:09:16.340 house when we bought a house was that I wanted to have like even the little things around our house

00:09:22.260 be intentional and look nice. And one of those things was soap dispensers because it's so easy

00:09:26.760 to buy you know a two dollar soap dispenser from the store and it says soft soap on it or something

00:09:30.760 and it's not ugly it's just not intentional. So I wanted to get glass ones that we could refill and

00:09:36.400 so I ordered these off Amazon. I love the way they look. I think they are so classy so pretty and really

00:09:42.860 add something special to your bathroom. They're not expensive either. I want to I need another one and

00:09:48.840 they come in sets of two so I'm trying to figure out what to do. But if you're looking for something

00:09:54.520 to just spruce your bathroom up but it's a really easy change this is what I recommend because I

00:09:59.340 really love these. I think they're very attractive and they work really well. Number seven are these

00:10:04.420 Amazon basic chairs. It's kind of random. I know it's the middle of winter or maybe we're nearing into

00:10:10.340 spring now. Yeah we are. We're coming into spring sort of. We're like still we're still in winter but

00:10:17.000 we're moving into spring soon. But I live in Florida so these are relevant to me and maybe if

00:10:22.880 you buy them now they'll be on sale. These Amazon basic chairs are awesome. They are so nice for your

00:10:28.500 backyard. They are really well made I think. I mean they're not heavy. They're not metal. I believe

00:10:34.640 they're plastic but they're pretty sturdy and they're fun to lean back in. I have taken such great

00:10:42.120 naps in these chairs and I think you would too because they are comfortable. They recline. They're

00:10:48.220 just really nice and a nice addition to your backyard and not very expensive given that you get

00:10:53.640 two of them plus a table in between. So if you're looking for something for your backyard maybe near

00:10:59.060 your pool if you have one check these out. Number eight are these high-waisted jeans. So I think these

00:11:06.400 were recommended to me by Jessica Braun here on on YouTube. I really like these. I think that they

00:11:14.160 are comfortable. I think they're flattering. I like the cut of them. They're kind of more of a wide leg

00:11:20.500 or a straight leg but they're very high-waisted. So they're comfortable. They're easy to wear. They

00:11:26.420 hit you in a nice place and I just like that they're a little bit more trendy but they're not trendy

00:11:32.180 in a way that I think go out of style quickly. I think that they'll actually last a good amount

00:11:37.860 of time and you know look nice too. So I really like them. I think they're flattering. I think

00:11:44.600 they're fun. I wore these with my cropped vest the other day that I mentioned earlier. That was cute

00:11:50.860 and I got the lighter wash just because again that's more trendy but these are trendy but I also

00:11:55.980 think that they could stand the test of time. That's my feeling. I just I like them a lot and they make

00:12:00.760 me feel really good. Number nine is a popcorn maker. Okay Jacob and I have tried like 15 different

00:12:07.720 popcorn makers and I recommended one but that one fell apart you know a couple I don't know maybe a

00:12:13.560 year after I recommended it and so we tried something new and it's this Dash popcorn maker.

00:12:19.520 It's awesome. We love it. It's kind of annoying to store. It's kind of annoying to wash but it's not

00:12:25.960 terrible to wash like some other ones that we've had and it's not terrible to store. It's just kind

00:12:31.680 of bulky but it makes great popcorn every single time and you can melt butter in it which I love.

00:12:38.200 That's my issue with a lot of the air the air popcorn makers is that you can't put any like oil

00:12:43.760 or butter on them. So I really like this one. I don't think it was very expensive and it's just if

00:12:51.740 you eat popcorn the way that we do so maybe at least once a week then I think it's worth having

00:12:57.120 because making popcorn any other way is it's just not as good or it's annoying so this is this is the

00:13:03.980 way to go. Last but not least is maybe my most random suggestion but it is this acrylic eyeglasses

00:13:12.240 holder. So we live in Florida. We have like three sets of sunglasses each. We love this. I

00:13:21.640 ordered it. I didn't ask my husband in advance. I just was like oh this is cool and I think I could

00:13:26.120 use it to display our sunglasses and it could be nice for us. So I ordered it and I got it and he

00:13:31.060 loved it. I loved it. It's so fun. It makes you feel like you're in a department store and it also

00:13:37.940 displays your sunglasses really easily and one of the nice things about having your sunglasses

00:13:42.300 displayed is that it reminds you to take them with you. So when we don't have them out we'll forget

00:13:47.500 to take them and get annoyed with ourselves that we forgot to take them. Because they're on display

00:13:51.620 now now it's a lot easier to remember to to wear them and also to switch them out. Wear different

00:13:56.440 ones for different outfits because we see them and we can like decide which one goes with what we're

00:14:02.860 wearing. So I think this is a lot of fun. It takes a few minutes to put together because you have to

00:14:08.760 screw it together but who cares that didn't bother me at all. So I'm a big fan and I think that

00:14:15.040 it's just like a really random but fun useful item. So those are my 10 random Amazon purchases.
