Classically Abby - AMAZON Modest SWIMSUIT Haul!! 🩱 ｜｜ Trying on 7 different swimsuits that are modest AND affordable!

00:00:00.000 Hello, Classic Crew, and welcome to today's video where we're going to be doing a modest swimsuit haul from Amazon.

00:00:09.880 I get a lot of questions on my channel about how to dress modestly when you're wearing a swimsuit,

00:00:16.420 and I thought it would be a fun idea to do a modest swimsuit haul on my channel,

00:00:21.380 and what better place to order than from Amazon?

00:00:24.060 Because it is so easy to get their stuff in the mail, to order it, get two-day shipping,

00:00:28.280 and most of their stuff is pretty affordable, and I was really excited to kind of take a look at what they actually had.

00:00:34.780 So basically what I did was I went onto Amazon, and I searched high-necked bathing suits, one-pieces,

00:00:40.720 and I searched rash guards, and I searched swimsuits with sleeves,

00:00:44.900 and I just kind of wanted to see what kind of results I would get.

00:00:48.420 And I actually did find a good number of swimsuits to try.

00:00:51.980 So I ordered them, and I got them here, and I tried them all on for you to tell you how well they were made,

00:00:57.360 if they were still cute, and how I liked them, if they were modest enough for me,

00:01:02.660 and tell you if I could recommend them to you.

00:01:04.680 So I tried on seven bathing suits for you guys today, and I'm really excited to share what I found,

00:01:09.640 because they are all modest, most of them are super well-made, and I think that they all are pretty affordable.

00:01:15.240 So I'm really excited to share them with you, and I hope you guys enjoyed today's video.

00:01:18.740 So let's get into it.

00:01:19.940 So the first swimsuit I tried on is this little pineapple number,

00:01:23.580 and the reason I chose it was because it has this really high neck.

00:01:27.020 I actually really love the bathing suits that have a zipper down the front.

00:01:30.780 I think they look really sporty, and if you don't want it to be completely up at the top,

00:01:34.980 you can take it down just a little bit, and you'll have a little bit more breathing room around the neck.

00:01:39.940 And I think that the print on this is super cute.

00:01:43.240 I also really like that the back is a racerback.

00:01:46.080 I don't think that that's really inappropriate,

00:01:47.560 and of course it does offer quite a bit of coverage in the butt area, which, hey, I love that.

00:01:53.940 So my only issue with this bathing suit was this seam along the front.

00:01:58.440 As you can see, it kind of dips down like this, and I didn't think it was that flattering.

00:02:03.280 My husband, on the other hand, he didn't think it looked bad.

00:02:06.060 He thought I looked really nice in this bathing suit,

00:02:07.820 so he didn't think that this made me look less attractive than I am.

00:02:11.480 I just didn't think it was that flattering, but that may have been my personal preference.

00:02:16.080 The pattern is so cute.

00:02:18.380 I love the black with the pineapples.

00:02:20.060 I think that's adorable, and I like that it looks so sporty,

00:02:23.460 and it really does provide just really modest coverage along the leg, along the front.

00:02:29.720 The only skin you're really showing is the racerback,

00:02:32.340 which I think is totally fine, and I actually think it's really cute.

00:02:36.380 So would I recommend this?

00:02:38.240 Yes.

00:02:39.100 I think the question is whether or not the seam is going to be flattering on you,

00:02:43.280 but the quality is great.

00:02:45.120 The zipper seems really strong, and I think this is a great bathing suit.

00:02:50.380 Next up, let's talk about this little purple number.

00:02:53.080 I think this is a super cool bathing suit, and it is so modest.

00:02:57.580 I can't get over it.

00:02:58.800 It has these adorable flutter sleeves, this ruching in the front,

00:03:02.980 this really covered up bottom. 0.72

00:03:04.660 The back is ruched as well, and it's just really adorable,

00:03:08.180 and it has this zipper along the front just like that other one you can see here,

00:03:12.000 and it allows you to get into it.

00:03:15.100 They all come with cups in the front that are removable,

00:03:18.460 which I think is super important because I don't like cups in my bathing suits.

00:03:22.120 I think they look kind of funny.

00:03:23.240 They're not really comfortable, and so I remove them.

00:03:25.860 But if you're somebody who wants cups, they are there.

00:03:28.560 The only issue with this bathing suit is that it did run a little large.

00:03:32.440 So in all of these bathing suits, I ordered a medium.

00:03:35.560 This was the only bathing suit that felt a little bit too big on me.

00:03:39.240 I think I might order it, though, in a small because I love the way this looks.

00:03:43.740 I love how feminine it is.

00:03:45.620 I love how covered up it is.

00:03:47.540 I love how unique it looks.

00:03:49.400 This is just a really cool bathing suit, not something that you would see every day.

00:03:53.700 And again, it feels well made.

00:03:55.460 It feels like it's not going to break down.

00:03:58.140 The zipper is great, and I really like this bathing suit.

00:04:02.360 I think this is a really nice one.

00:04:03.760 If you're looking for something that's more on the feminine side, 0.95

00:04:06.520 a little bit more girly, could go with like a little swim skirt perfectly 0.99

00:04:10.300 because of these flutter sleeves, this might fit the bill for you

00:04:12.960 because it is really cute, and it does all of that for you.

00:04:16.280 This seam underneath the bust is super flattering. 0.94

00:04:19.120 It almost looks like a dress.

00:04:20.440 It's just a dress that's been turned into a bathing suit,

00:04:22.580 which I think is pretty cool and different.

00:04:25.340 It's not something you see every day.

00:04:26.520 So as far as this bathing suit, I would definitely recommend it.

00:04:30.180 Just maybe figure out your sizing before you order it

00:04:33.500 because this was a little bit big on me.

00:04:35.980 I think I would size down to a small.

00:04:37.700 Next up, let's talk about this bathing suit.

00:04:40.560 I think this is such a cool print.

00:04:42.880 So I own another bathing suit that is similar to this,

00:04:45.440 but this one is way more flattering.

00:04:47.400 The cut on here is so flattering.

00:04:49.940 It hits you right at the smallest part of you where the print is,

00:04:52.540 and then the rest of it just is blue and plain.

00:04:55.060 It almost kind of gives the impression of a two-piece

00:04:57.620 because you've got this kind of seam here.

00:05:00.000 It's not really a seam, but the pattern stops here,

00:05:03.020 and then the bottom looks like a high-waisted bathing suit.

00:05:05.500 It's obviously incredibly modest.

00:05:07.600 It's got that zipper front.

00:05:08.760 It's got the really long sleeves,

00:05:10.420 and the back is covered up very, very nicely.

00:05:13.720 This is just a really flattering bathing suit.

00:05:16.720 Is it as well-made as the others?

00:05:19.240 Questionable.

00:05:19.680 I think it might be slightly thinner,

00:05:22.020 but I really like this bathing suit,

00:05:24.380 and I think it is so modest, so cute.

00:05:27.220 It really has some flair to it.

00:05:29.100 Of course, whenever you have this kind of raglan sleeve,

00:05:31.720 it makes your waist look smaller,

00:05:33.740 and so this works really well

00:05:35.380 when you want to wear something that is more flattering

00:05:37.620 but is also more covered up.

00:05:39.360 It's going to give you great sun protection

00:05:41.180 because you're covering your arms,

00:05:43.080 you're covering your shoulders,

00:05:44.080 and it just is really cute.

00:05:46.800 Apparently, I ordered this in a small.

00:05:50.180 Surprising.

00:05:50.780 I thought I ordered this in a medium,

00:05:51.940 but it does fit me,

00:05:53.080 so if you are looking for sizing questions,

00:05:56.020 I got this in a small.

00:05:57.160 Maybe if I'd gotten it in a medium,

00:05:58.840 I would feel a little bit less like it was stretching,

00:06:01.800 but I'm not totally sure.

00:06:03.180 So I do like this a lot.

00:06:05.260 I think the print is super pretty,

00:06:06.800 and I just really think that this is a good thing

00:06:09.460 to have in your collection,

00:06:10.760 especially if you're a sporty kind of person,

00:06:12.660 if you're going to be rafting or canoeing or something,

00:06:16.200 this is going to protect your shoulders,

00:06:17.460 and that's going to be the first thing

00:06:18.740 you get a sunburn on.

00:06:19.680 So this is really cute,

00:06:21.340 and I think that it's worth having in your collection.

00:06:23.780 All right, guys,

00:06:24.720 so now let's talk about this little bathing suit.

00:06:27.680 How cute is this?

00:06:28.840 I love the print.

00:06:30.220 I love that this looks like a high-waisted bathing suit,

00:06:32.860 and then you've got this really cute kind of short sleeve,

00:06:35.920 the blue and white.

00:06:37.320 I love it.

00:06:38.020 I love the pattern,

00:06:39.220 and I just think this is such a cute bathing suit,

00:06:41.740 and again, it is so flattering.

00:06:44.180 You've got a good amount of coverage on the bottom.

00:06:46.780 I just think this is adorable.

00:06:48.700 I do have one issue.

00:06:50.320 This bathing suit's zipper is a little bit more fragile

00:06:54.120 than the other zippers on those bathing suits.

00:06:56.540 This is like this zipper you might find on a dress

00:07:00.000 or like on a skirt.

00:07:01.860 It doesn't feel like it's waterproof

00:07:03.460 in the same way as those others.

00:07:05.160 It's not thick,

00:07:06.240 and so this makes me a little bit nervous.

00:07:09.000 Now, I don't know that it's not going to work in water.

00:07:11.640 I'm sure that they thought about that,

00:07:14.200 but this zipper really doesn't give me a ton of confidence,

00:07:17.860 but this is adorable,

00:07:20.700 and if this bathing suit could survive

00:07:23.480 with this zipper situation,

00:07:24.860 I would own like three of them.

00:07:27.180 They're so cute.

00:07:28.500 I just really like this seam here.

00:07:30.740 I really like the pattern.

00:07:32.420 I really like the colors,

00:07:34.160 the short sleeve,

00:07:35.340 the neckline.

00:07:35.640 I just think this is so cute.

00:07:38.300 So if this was just slightly better quality in the zipper,

00:07:43.200 I would be like 100% recommend,

00:07:45.140 but I'm going to let you guys decide

00:07:46.720 whether or not you want to purchase this

00:07:48.180 because it is really, really cute.

00:07:50.180 All of these bathing suits were not very expensive,

00:07:52.360 so it's not like you're pouring in $100 into a bathing suit,

00:07:55.580 but yeah, this is really cute.

00:07:57.440 Zipper is questionable.

00:07:58.800 Next up, let's talk about this bathing suit.

00:08:02.380 So cute.

00:08:03.800 I posted a picture of actually the other version

00:08:06.900 of this bathing suit,

00:08:07.740 so I ordered this bathing suit in two different colors

00:08:09.800 because I liked it so much,

00:08:11.160 and I really wanted it to work,

00:08:13.220 so it is adorable.

00:08:15.440 I posted a picture of it on Instagram,

00:08:17.520 and this to me is like the most bathing suit,

00:08:20.160 bathing suit of the lot.

00:08:21.820 This looks very much like a bathing suit.

00:08:23.420 It's just a more modest bathing suit.

00:08:24.980 It's not like a rash guard like those other ones are.

00:08:27.240 This is a really well-made suit.

00:08:30.940 It's well thought out, well put together.

00:08:33.300 As far as the back, if you look here,

00:08:35.340 it has the string attached so you can zip yourself,

00:08:37.740 which is great,

00:08:38.600 and it goes all the way down like this,

00:08:40.840 and then you can pull it all the way up by yourself,

00:08:43.300 no help needed,

00:08:44.220 and then it has even like a little flap here

00:08:46.720 for you to pull over the top,

00:08:48.720 which I just love.

00:08:49.880 It's so well thought out,

00:08:51.480 and I love the high neckline.

00:08:53.920 The bottom is pretty covered,

00:08:55.440 but I do have a few caveats as regards this bathing suit.

00:08:59.260 So I do think it would be better

00:09:01.360 for somebody who has a little bit of a smaller chest.

00:09:03.600 For me, I found that I didn't have enough space

00:09:06.260 around the front.

00:09:07.420 I can make it work,

00:09:08.860 and I will make it work because it's really cute,

00:09:11.140 but it does have a little bit less room here

00:09:15.960 than I would like personally.

00:09:17.600 So if you have a smaller chest,

00:09:19.420 this would probably be perfect for you.

00:09:21.180 If you have a little bit of a bigger chest,

00:09:22.820 it will still work,

00:09:23.920 but it just takes a little bit more finagling.

00:09:26.080 Another issue that I have

00:09:27.700 is that there's actually a kind of see-through section

00:09:30.440 on the side that has like lacing,

00:09:33.640 and I don't think that's super modest.

00:09:35.600 That's not my absolute favorite thing.

00:09:38.340 I don't know whether I'll wear shorts

00:09:40.560 or something over the top of this because of this,

00:09:43.520 or if I'll sew a piece in,

00:09:45.600 or if it's not that big of a deal,

00:09:48.220 but I don't think it's that modest,

00:09:50.540 and I can't say with full confidence

00:09:52.660 that I think this is just fine.

00:09:54.840 It does come up a little bit high,

00:09:56.860 and it can stretch a little bit

00:09:58.620 and show a little bit too much skin for me.

00:10:01.460 So I do want to figure out a way to keep this

00:10:04.320 because I do love this bathing suit.

00:10:06.140 I think it is super pretty, super cute,

00:10:09.160 but I would have to deal with this side area.

00:10:12.720 So I'm gonna think about some solutions,

00:10:15.460 but I do love the top here.

00:10:17.700 It is really flattering,

00:10:19.160 and it doesn't show off a lot of skin in the front.

00:10:21.620 So I guess they kind of felt like,

00:10:22.880 well, there's no skin here,

00:10:23.720 so we have to show skin here.

00:10:25.200 But I think that it is really well-made.

00:10:27.420 I would feel very confident wearing this at the beach.

00:10:30.560 Next up, we've got the same suit,

00:10:32.540 but in a different print.

00:10:33.600 I did want to order a couple, like I said,

00:10:35.420 because I just think that this is so adorable.

00:10:37.800 I think I like this print even better than the blue one.

00:10:40.220 It's very on trend, I feel like.

00:10:43.120 And again, it's really well-made.

00:10:45.120 It's got that same string that you can pull for yourself.

00:10:48.260 It's got the same flap along the top of the zipper,

00:10:50.720 and it does have those same cutouts on the side,

00:10:53.620 which I'm not a huge fan of,

00:10:54.980 but it does have that high neckline, which is great.

00:10:57.880 And this is just so cute, so well-made.

00:11:00.820 It really feels like a bathing suit, and it's sturdy.

00:11:03.940 It feels like it would last a long time,

00:11:06.380 especially if you took good care of it.

00:11:07.960 So I really highly recommend this suit.

00:11:12.060 We'll just all have to discuss in the comments

00:11:14.380 ideas for this side thing,

00:11:17.280 because I would like to hear your guys' thoughts about it.

00:11:19.680 I don't really know how to solve it,

00:11:21.600 maybe getting some fabric and putting it underneath.

00:11:23.700 I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts,

00:11:25.140 so leave that in the comments,

00:11:26.520 because I'm not totally sure exactly how to solve that.

00:11:29.180 But very cute, and for the most part,

00:11:32.340 the top area for sure, very modest.

00:11:35.480 Last but not least, I did want to offer

00:11:37.660 a two-piece option that could be more modest.

00:11:40.120 In the shots of me that I took,

00:11:42.420 I didn't show any skin,

00:11:43.740 because I'm not comfortable putting myself on YouTube

00:11:46.640 with a little bit of skin showing around my belly,

00:11:49.120 so I did try and keep it kind of

00:11:50.960 almost looking like a one-piece.

00:11:52.360 If I were to wear it at the beach,

00:11:53.600 they probably would show just a little bit of

00:11:55.400 kind of my torso, just a tiny, tiny sliver,

00:11:58.800 because this is super high-waisted.

00:12:00.580 So essentially, we've got this piece here.

00:12:02.760 So this is the top.

00:12:03.400 It's kind of like a cropped rash guard.

00:12:05.560 Very cute.

00:12:06.940 I like the fabric.

00:12:08.340 My issue is a little bit with the bust.

00:12:10.840 So you've got these sewn-in cups that you can't remove,

00:12:14.240 and it doesn't offer that much support.

00:12:17.360 So for my girls with a little bit of a smaller chest,

00:12:19.680 this might be perfect for you.

00:12:21.320 For me, it's a little bit less stable,

00:12:23.420 a little bit less comfortable,

00:12:24.520 but I do think it is very, very cute on.

00:12:28.000 And you can kind of make it work.

00:12:29.660 I think I could probably make it work,

00:12:31.380 but it's not my ideal version of this suit.

00:12:34.800 And then you've got the bottoms,

00:12:36.480 which are very high-waisted.

00:12:38.360 They're ruched, pretty good coverage in the back.

00:12:40.940 And so basically, all you'd be showing

00:12:42.340 is like a little bit of area around your ribs.

00:12:44.640 And if you're interested in having a two-piece,

00:12:47.040 I mean, this is kind of gonna be

00:12:48.120 the most modest version of one.

00:12:49.840 It's got sleeves, and it barely shows anything.

00:12:52.260 So I do like the combo.

00:12:54.220 It feels very vintage to me,

00:12:55.940 and I really like that.

00:12:57.020 I don't think this is the most high-quality.

00:12:59.640 This does feel a little bit cheaper,

00:13:01.680 but it is fun and cute,

00:13:03.540 and it does feel really cute and vintage

00:13:05.820 without feeling old-fashioned.

00:13:07.620 I think it's kind of fun,

00:13:08.720 and it does kind of give you that two-piece vibe.

00:13:11.500 So if you are looking for something

00:13:13.180 that is more of a rash guard,

00:13:14.560 but still has the kind of feeling of a two-piece,

00:13:17.620 this is what I would wear,

00:13:18.840 and I like the idea of it.

00:13:20.460 I guess I just don't feel like it's as well-made

00:13:22.200 as the other pieces that I'm showing,

00:13:23.560 but if you're looking for something that's inexpensive

00:13:25.760 and this kind of fits what you're interested in,

00:13:28.880 go for it.

00:13:29.660 And that's everything for my modest swimsuit haul

00:13:32.240 from Amazon.

00:13:33.260 I'd love to hear which of these was your favorite,

00:13:35.640 if one of these is something that you would order,

00:13:37.900 what you like to wear at the beach.
