So the first thing I want to talk about is that it is 85 degrees out today.

Now I know that for so many people that sounds absolutely horrible, but to me that is the

It is just my favorite thing, and now that summer is officially on its way, I am so stoked

I also wanted to chat a little bit about a conversation I had with a friend of mine.

And she had been watching a PragerU video just because someone else that she knew was

And she was shocked to learn that even though the Derek Chauvin trial has been hailed as finally

getting justice for George Floyd, it wasn't brought into court as a hate crime, there was

And it reminded me how the media narrative, if you are not going out of your way to find

alternative news sources that will show you both sides, you're not going to recognize

You're not going to know that even though everyone is saying that George Floyd has finally

gotten justice for this racist hate crime, Derek Chauvin's trial was really not about

And it was interesting to hear her thoughts on that because as somebody who is not on the

right, she was kind of shocked to learn this herself.

Next up, I wanted to talk about the new CDC guidelines.

So the CDC just announced that if you are vaccinated, you are allowed to go outside in

You are allowed to go outside in the outdoors without a mask, even if you weren't vaccinated.

That was something everyone agreed on by scientific standards, that COVID was not spread outdoors.

So why is this just now being allowed by the CDC for people who are vaccinated?

When literally everyone could go outside outdoors if you were six feet apart from someone else.

As long as you're socially distanced, then it wasn't an issue.

If the CDC guidelines are making it so unattractive to actually get a vaccination, where it doesn't

actually change your life all that much, why would anyone get it?

Now, if you're pro or against the vaccine, that's, you know, its own argument.

I truly do, but if you want to make the vaccine attractive to people, you have to give them

And if the reason you're giving them is that they can go outdoors without a mask, which

was allowed before this, why would anyone want to get the vaccine?

And what's crazy about it is that the vaccine has actually been proven to be super effective

at not spreading COVID and not allowing you to be a vector for COVID.

So really, if you get the vaccine, life should be able to return to normal for you.

Last but not least, I wanted to talk about the Oscars.

I woke up the next morning and saw that there were reports about the Oscars, and I had no

idea that they had happened in the first place, which was fascinating to me.

So I'm wondering if anyone else watched them or if you cared about any of the things that

won this year, since I had not seen barely any of the movies that had been nominated.

Because the people who get up are just going to talk about politics and make you feel bad
