00:01:17.820 wanted to talk about is my hair. I tried to do hot rollers today. Normally, when I do hot rollers,

00:01:27.900 looks actually good. Today, I don't feel like that worked. I think I turned all of the hot rollers

00:02:09.140 The next thing I want to talk about today is something that's been going crazy in the news,
00:02:12.540 which is Gina Carano. Gina Carano was on The Mandalorian, and I use the word was because
00:02:18.920 she was fired because of something she posted on her Instagram story, which said,
00:02:23.260 Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers, but by their neighbors, even by children.
00:02:27.880 Because history is edited, most people today don't realize that to get to the point where
00:02:31.980 Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own
00:02:36.140 neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for
00:02:40.400 their political views? Because of this Instagram post, which, as a Jew, I will say, not offended by
00:02:46.720 it. I don't love Holocaust comparisons because I just don't think there's enough context. But was
00:02:51.260 this a horrible thing to say? No. Depending on the situation, I just don't think it's useful,
00:02:56.180 but it's not a terrible thing to say, and she's not a bad person for writing it, and she doesn't
00:03:01.600 deserve to lose her job. But she is a Republican. So if you say something that the left can call you
00:03:08.320 out for, even for no reason, then they will, and you'll get canceled. What's interesting is that
00:03:13.900 the main star of The Mandalorian, Pedro Pascal, posted his own Holocaust comparison just two-ish
00:03:21.340 years ago, where he shared a tweet that said, hashtag, this is America, with a picture of Jews in the
00:03:27.640 concentration camps in Germany in 1948. And underneath it, he showed America 2018 with a picture of
00:03:35.020 children in cages. Pedro Pascal still has his job. He made a Holocaust reference. Why was he allowed to
00:03:40.480 do it, and why is Gina Carano not allowed to do it? Well, it's because he's on the left and she's on
00:03:46.100 the right. That's literally what it comes down to. If you're on the right and they can cancel you,
00:03:51.800 they will cancel you. If you're on the left and they can cancel you, why would they? So Carano was fired
00:03:57.360 from her job at The Mandalorian. She was literally let go from her job, and it's unacceptable. If you're
00:04:03.280 on the right and you say absolutely anything that they can pick apart and cancel you for,
00:04:08.820 it will happen. Which is why we shouldn't allow anyone to be canceled, right or left, because
00:04:14.060 once it comes for all of the right, it will come for the left too. It's never going to stop with
00:04:18.780 the person that you want to cancel, because eventually the left will say that people who
00:04:23.020 aren't far enough left will also be able to be canceled, and it comes for everyone. What's ridiculous
00:04:28.340 about this, of course, is that Disney is also the same company that wrote in the credits of Mulan,
00:04:32.560 thank you to the Chinese government that is forcibly sterilizing Uyghur women and putting
00:04:37.660 them in concentration camps. So Disney clearly does not have an issue with creating a holocaust,
00:04:43.300 but they have an issue with anyone on the right saying absolutely anything. So Disney really stands
00:04:48.700 for absolutely nothing, and it's ridiculous to think about. But I'd love to hear your guys' thoughts
00:04:54.520 in the comments. The next thing I want to talk about is something pretty funny. So I don't know if you
00:04:58.160 saw this, but there was a video that was going around of a lawyer in Texas on a Zoom meeting
00:05:05.200 who could not remove the filter that made him look like a cat. It was great. It was hilarious. He was
00:05:13.180 trying to do a Zoom hearing, he's a lawyer, and he accidentally ended up being in a filter that made
00:05:18.840 him look like a cat. And it's amazing. It's so funny. So definitely worth watching if you haven't. I think

00:05:47.140 what I think is fashion, which was a Christian LeBouton heel. And then on the other side, I put what kids
00:05:52.480 think is fashion, and I put a Doc Martens shoe. I don't think people enjoyed this comparison. They
00:05:58.200 said both is fashion. Why would you say that? Here's the thing. I'm actually not opposed to
00:06:03.040 combat boots. I think that combat boots can look pretty nice and depending on the outfit can look
00:06:07.260 good. Doc Martens, they fall into the category of ugly fashion. I'm sorry. Doc Martens are ugly.

00:07:45.800 it's got home decor stuff. And this is the stuff that appeals to me now as a 27-year-old woman. So
00:07:51.180 yes, I feel very grown up. Also, I have a magazine subscription. Who has those anymore? Probably makes
00:07:56.940 me a very old lady, but I like magazines, so it makes me feel very nice. And I'd love to know if any
