Classically Abby - MODEST Fashion Haul...For SUMMER! ⧸⧸ Target, Kohl's, Amazon ＊nursing friendly＊

00:00:00.000 Hello Classic Crew and welcome to today's video where we're going to be doing a modest fashion

00:00:05.300 haul for spring and summer that's nursing friendly. If you are new to my channel, here we talk about

00:00:16.060 traditional values and classic living and I would love if you would consider subscribing and hitting

00:00:19.800 that notification bell. And if you haven't checked out my Substack newsletter where you'll get access

00:00:23.520 to a ton of exclusive content including my discussion threads, our community, my podcast,

00:00:29.140 our book club, make sure to head over to classicallyabbey.substack.com. Now in today's video I'm going to be

00:00:35.640 doing a modest fashion haul and it's all kind of warm weather stuff and everything that I'm trying

00:00:41.400 on for you guys today is currently available. It's either available at Target or at Amazon or at Kohl's.

00:00:47.280 So I bought a bunch of things that I think you guys will love and I wanted to give you options that you

00:00:51.520 could actually buy. In a lot of my videos I've done outfits that are more like inspiration but I wanted

00:00:57.000 you guys to see things that you might want to purchase for yourselves. As you all know I'm a

00:01:00.980 big proponent of modesty so everything that I'm sharing with you guys today is modest but it's

00:01:04.960 also great for spring and summer and I think that you guys will really love them. As well the bonus here

00:01:11.580 is that everything that I'm wearing is nursing friendly so if you're a new mama and you're looking

00:01:15.620 for outfits that are comfortable, cute, but also breastfeeding friendly this will definitely be

00:01:21.040 for you because many of the outfits that I got have buttons. A few of them are like things you

00:01:26.460 can pull up but are easy to do that with. So this should apply to breastfeeding mamas as well as pretty 1.00

00:01:32.380 much anybody else who's interested in wearing pretty feminine modest clothing for spring and summer.

00:01:37.740 So now let's get into today's video. Outfit number one are these adorable overalls jumpsuit. I'm not sure

00:01:45.060 if because they're jean they would be considered overalls but I think they're more of a jumpsuit.

00:01:49.020 I love these. It's so cute. It's so flattering. I really love the length of the pants and the width

00:01:56.080 of the pants and I love that it has a really defined waist. Plus of course I paired it with

00:02:00.680 a shirt underneath so I just took this little white shirt from Target. It's cropped so obviously I would

00:02:05.920 never wear it alone but I would wear it underneath things and in the summertime it's less fabric to make

00:02:11.200 you hot. So I got this cute little cropped white shirt to wear underneath this jumpsuit. I love the look

00:02:18.020 of it and it's pretty affordable because it's from Target so that's nice too. And you can pair this outfit

00:02:23.640 with like a cute baseball cap and some gym shoes or you can wear sandals. I just love the way this looks

00:02:31.420 and I cannot wait to wear it in spring and summer plus those buttons as you all know super convenient

00:02:35.880 when you're breastfeeding. Outfit number two is also from Target. It's this blue gingham dress and I'm wearing

00:02:41.860 that same undershirt. I bought it specifically so I could wear it under both of these outfits. I love

00:02:47.240 this dress. I think it is so pretty. It is so comfortable. I love the colors. I love the print.

00:02:54.040 Gingham is one of my favorites and I like that it has this kind of detail in the front that's a

00:02:58.160 it's like a lace-up detail but there's nothing actually showing. You can definitely wear this

00:03:02.620 without an undershirt. I wore it without an undershirt and wore a cardigan over it and it was still pretty

00:03:07.280 modest. The reason I like this gingham dress for nursing is that you just pull down the strap and you

00:03:11.540 have easy access. I just think that this is really cute. It's not defined waist. You could probably

00:03:17.240 belt it if you wanted to but I wouldn't. I just like that it's flowy. It doesn't kind of cling to

00:03:22.500 your skin so you're sweating and I like the length of it as well because for me this comes to like my

00:03:28.340 mid-calf. For a shorter girl it's going to be a maxi dress and it's just really fun for summertime and 0.60

00:03:35.200 springtime. It makes you feel like you're going on a picnic. If you don't pair this with a straw hat

00:03:40.080 what are you doing? Next up is this yellow dress from Kohl's. Now something I've been noticing this

00:03:46.580 season is that there's been a lot of button-down dresses which is super convenient for me but

00:03:51.540 a lot of these shirt dresses and this is one of them. I love the fabric. The fabric is really soft

00:03:57.280 and very comfortable to be in. I believe this dress comes in a few different patterns. I liked the yellow.

00:04:02.920 It's very summery. It's very bright and the cut on the side is very flattering because it does come

00:04:09.240 up a little bit higher on the side. If you're uncomfortable with that you can sew up the sides

00:04:13.620 and not have as high of a slit but it is very flattering for that reason. You can wear it with

00:04:19.160 the belt it comes with. It's just a fabric belt or you can pair it with a different belt. It's got

00:04:23.580 the short sleeves. It does wrinkle when you wash it so you're going to have to steam it. I've steamed it

00:04:28.240 with a steamer. I've also steamed it just by hanging it up in the bathroom while I shower and then I get

00:04:33.480 out and I just kind of take my hands and straighten things out but I think this is an adorable dress.

00:04:38.480 It is perfect for breastfeeding and it's really great. Now let's get into the clothes I got from

00:04:44.140 Amazon. So starting off with this green dress. Now what I'll say about this green dress is that

00:04:49.540 the fabric does not feel expensive. It feels pretty cheap but I love the cut of this dress. I love the

00:04:55.620 print and I love the buttons. I think that this dress is very pretty, very flattering. It's not something

00:05:01.260 that feels expensive but it looks really nice on and it looks like you put in an effort. I love the length

00:05:08.040 and the sleeves are really cute. So if you are looking for something that's more on the inexpensive

00:05:12.200 side, this is a really nice dress for that and it's got those buttons which we love and it comes

00:05:17.600 in a bunch of different colors and patterns. Next up we have this gray dress. This gray dress with the

00:05:22.920 knot in the front is very form-fitting. I think you could probably size up if you don't want it to fit

00:05:28.260 so tight but I love this dress. I think it is really flattering on. It only unbuttons to the waist so it

00:05:34.720 doesn't button all the way down but it is still nursing friendly and you can wear it in a few

00:05:40.220 different ways which I think is really cool. You can definitely dress it up or you can dress it down.

00:05:44.500 I honestly think you may even be able to wear it to work if you put a blazer on top of it because it

00:05:49.040 does have that collar. So this dress is really kind of versatile and I like that it does have that pretty

00:05:54.780 interesting front with the knot. So I really like this dress. I think it's really cute and it does feel

00:06:00.660 high quality. Last but not least is this black shirt and these jeans. I wanted to put in one pair

00:06:07.240 of jeans for you guys. I think these are great. They are Levi jeans. They're really comfortable. I

00:06:12.760 love where they hit. They're high-waisted and they have it in a bunch of different colors. I got these.

00:06:17.980 I like this color. Now I'm a huge fan of tears in jeans, not generally, but it's very hard to find a

00:06:23.880 pair of jeans that's not in like a fuddy-duddy color that doesn't have tears. So I preferred the tearing

00:06:29.900 and the ripping with this color jean. So this is what I chose, but I like that they're a little

00:06:34.180 bit more of a straight leg, not totally wide or anything, but they're less of a skinny jean

00:06:39.380 than other jeans I've seen. They're high-waisted, which is great postpartum because it makes

00:06:43.680 everything get hold in and I just think they're really flattering. Now this top, I love because

00:06:49.280 the sleeves are so cool. They're so interesting and really, really feminine. I think tucked into

00:06:55.680 these jeans, it's just perfect and all you have to do when you're nursing is pull up the top

00:06:59.640 done. Easy stuff. And I like that the collar is also like kind of ruffly and high, really just

00:07:05.700 such a pretty top to wear with jeans, dresses them up. And if you pair this with like a strappy

00:07:10.260 sandal in the summertime, chef's kiss. Beautiful. Love it. So those are my modest outfits. I hope you

00:07:17.080 guys liked them. Let me know in the comments below and make sure to check out the description box.
