00:01:46.300 reason, that is totally fine. Formula is great too. It's a wonderful thing that we are able to use

00:01:51.980 formula, despite the fact that we are dealing with this horrible formula shortage, which don't get

00:02:30.280 you know that there are a lot of parts and parcels to that process, and one of those things is pumping

00:02:37.100 and collecting milk and building your stash. So Haka has a lot of amazing products that make this whole

00:02:43.280 process so much easier. Pumping in and of itself can be kind of a hassle. There are so many pieces

00:02:48.560 and parts that you have to wash constantly and sterilize, and it's just sitting at a machine

00:02:53.020 while it pumps. Haka's products give you options. So let's talk about the Haka pump first of all.

00:03:00.260 The Haka pump, you just squeeze and the suction of the silicone will attach it to your breast. And when 0.98

00:03:08.680 it does that, it starts to suck out and express the milk for you. You don't have to do anything. It's just

00:03:14.300 the suction, the gentle suction expresses milk. So you put it on one side while you're nursing on the

00:03:20.580 other. You might collect a ton of milk from that other side because that suction is drying it out,

00:03:26.900 and you don't even have to pump. You don't have to do anything. That's what I did super early on in my

00:03:32.080 breastfeeding process. I would put this on one side while I nursed on the other. I would get like two, 0.99

00:03:36.760 three, four ounces just from that side. Now I have an oversupply, so like maybe that's just because I

00:03:43.220 have so much milk, but it was amazing. And I didn't have to pump. I was building my stash using just

00:03:50.540 this. I literally did not pump. Now as my breastfeeding journey got more complicated, I

00:03:54.780 learned that I had a lot of four milk. So again, the Haka came into play. I started using the Haka 0.97

00:04:01.020 to pump off the first ounce on each breast before I fed my son. That would be all four

00:04:06.740 milk. I could either freeze it and donate it or I could toss it and not use it. But he was getting

00:04:12.300 the good stuff. He was getting my hind milk, the fatty milk that's better for babies. Four milk is 0.83

00:04:53.900 Now this is even helpful if you have clogged ducts. I've used this to help with a clogged duct and it

00:05:04.780 tablespoon of Epsom salt, something like that. You can like look up the recipe online and you just

00:05:09.600 put your breast into the Haka. You suction it a little bit because it's going to be filled with 1.00

00:05:14.300 water. You want to make sure that your nipple is in the mixture and the suction from the Haka 0.84

00:05:20.180 plus the Epsom salts will draw out the clog. This thing is incredible. It's a lifesaver.

00:05:25.380 So if you are looking for an easy way to pump, now you may still need to pump for other reasons,

00:05:48.580 the expressing, but it depends on who you are, right? Because it can hurt for some people just to

00:05:52.700 pump. Now it doesn't hurt me to pump. Sometimes the suction of this can be kind of powerful,

00:05:56.560 but you can definitely adjust how powerful you make it by how hard you squeeze. So if you squeeze

00:06:03.140 like this, you're going to get a super powerful suction. If you squeeze just a little bit less,

00:06:07.340 then you will probably have a little bit more comfortable, but it won't draw out as much milk.

00:06:10.800 Now, I don't know if this is accurate, but for me, I do think this also encouraged my supply.

00:06:16.920 So if you're using this all the time and you're constantly kind of using the suction to express

00:06:22.520 milk, it can encourage your breasts to make more. So if you're struggling with low supply,

00:06:27.040 this may help. Okay. So that is the Haka pump. I love this thing. This is the Haka ladybug. Now,

00:06:34.200 the Haka ladybug is another awesome option. If you are somebody who has let down and when you're

00:06:40.120 nursing on one side, the other side is leaking. Yes, I have that problem. This is a really good option

00:06:45.860 because what this does is it does not suction. It does not express. It just catches your milk. So

00:06:51.260 it does suction to the breast. So you just put your finger in like this and it will like suction 0.99

00:06:56.260 to your breast like that. This doesn't pull out the milk though. What it does is it just sticks there

00:07:02.160 into your bra and collects any letdown you have. So this is a great option if you want something that

00:07:09.500 the baby's not going to be like getting in the way of. Sometimes this, the baby's feet can like kick it,

00:07:14.700 but this just goes right into your bra and collects the milk and then you take it and you pour it out.

00:07:20.460 There's like a little thing here, pops this open and you pour out the milk like that. Now you can

00:07:25.440 also keep this in your bra all day. If you are somebody who gets a lot of letdown throughout the

00:07:29.460 day, you can keep it in your bra at night and you just have to collect and pour it out every two hours.

00:07:35.480 It's another great way to just collect your milk in a really non-invasive way. And this comes,

00:07:41.360 I believe in multiple sizes. I got the larger size. I think I probably should have gotten the

00:07:45.400 smaller size actually, because I don't get that much letdown that I would need this whole thing.

00:07:50.640 But I do, depending on the day, maybe sometimes I do, but sometimes I really don't need as much space.
