00:01:41.740 college uh i wasn't overly politically inclined yet i wasn't really keeping up with what was going on

00:01:54.960 family went through um and so i could not be more grateful for you for your voice for your bold and

00:02:01.260 unapologetic stand uh but i wanted to give you the opportunity to just uh refresh a lot of us i'm sure a lot

00:02:08.140 of people already know but refresh a lot of us about what you went through uh what's been going

00:02:51.240 ku klux klan law of 1871 for exercising free speech which was in support of president trump that offended

00:03:01.720 these individuals so the biden harris campaign staffers were driving in a campaign bus during

00:03:08.600 the 2020 election early election time we drove next to them on the road with a trump flag in a

00:03:15.080 trump train formation we made viral news trump tweeted about it he talked about how awesome it was we

00:03:20.060 thought it was an awesome way to show our support in texas like you i wasn't really political it was

00:03:25.060 just fun for me and then getting sued for that zero criminal charges just learning that they were

00:03:33.420 infringing on a constitutional right to free speech that we had to exercise the same way they did

00:03:37.860 just rocked my socks and i thought i gotta do something about this and so four years later we

00:03:43.260 have been battling this in federal court oh my gosh so you mentioned this this this i guess um

00:03:51.860 law however you want to word it that that you're being sued under but the reports i have read are

00:03:58.020 are basically they're suing for like emotional distress yeah so what's crazy to me riley is law

00:04:04.500 fair was not a term i knew a few years ago uh and i didn't even understand it was happening to me until

00:04:10.720 we started reaching out to law firms to help represent us and attorneys and first amendment rights

00:04:15.740 nonprofits were saying oh we don't want to represent you or get involved because this is law fair and the

00:04:21.180 intent is to punish you with the process and to drag it out as long as possible and make it cost all

00:04:25.560 this money and so when we were looking at the law they were using this kupla plan law it's archaic it

00:04:31.440 from 150 years ago republicans actually put this law into place to protect people of color who were at the

00:04:37.500 time recently emancipated from slavery and seeking to work go to school and vote and so we're like why is

00:04:46.060 this the law that they're using against us this is really curious that this of all laws would be the

00:04:50.840 law that they would pick and now in the past four years we've seen them use the same law against

00:04:56.040 president trump for january 6th brandon stratka with the walkaway campaign it's the same law that was

00:05:01.920 used against doug mackie who was facing 10 years prison time for the hillary clinton meme they are suing

00:05:07.780 dinesh d'souza and true the vote for their 2000 mules documentary so the same individuals have

00:05:14.760 concocted this little blueprint or recipe to infringe on free speech rights that they don't

00:05:19.800 like and to try to squash it and so when we realize that this is a test balloon they're trying to push

00:05:25.820 out to silence free speech in america we're like oh no not on our watch somebody has to fight this so

00:06:37.340 knocked on my door that i realized i had to figure out what was important to me i had to start taking

00:06:48.840 our child and i had to get ahead of it i wanted to be the one to set the pace in our household and to

00:06:54.240 be the one to decide what our child learned and that those values would come from the bible

00:06:58.920 and so i had to start going in reverse and learning things backwards and then try to recover ground

00:07:04.140 with my child unschool him homeschool him uh you know now i drink my own milk um like i had milked my

00:07:12.280 own goat and had raw milk in my own latte like that is how far backwards i've gone um making my own bread

00:07:19.160 and all that and so there's there's no denying that i'm voting for trump a third time the upcoming

00:07:26.340 election there's i mean nothing like getting sued by one party to push you into the other so all the

00:07:31.440 time i thank them for helping me find a voice to express myself and to teach others how to do the

00:15:56.760 next to the biden bus that broke the internet it was viral news for two weeks i think there was an

00:16:01.500 ethical news station or social media channel it was not on people were like this awesome some of our

00:16:06.700 favorite influencers and the biggest platforms i can only wish to tell our story on

00:16:10.420 were sharing it and then it wasn't until eight months later that they slipped it in under the

00:16:16.720 radar that they were suing us for that they waited till they got in the white house then they decided

00:16:20.580 they had emotional damage and then you know they sued us and then i'm reaching out to all these news

00:16:24.520 outlets and influencers saying remember that video you shared that was me i was there now i'm getting

00:16:28.340 sued for it and i was getting zero response or if i was getting a response it was like that's not

00:16:34.420 really the kind of story we're looking for or we don't really want to get involved with that

00:16:38.080 and so it was really disheartening that the left used mainstream media to announce the lawsuit

00:16:43.580 that's how i found out i was getting sued well before i was ever served paperwork i had somebody

00:16:48.120 sending me a cnn video talking about it and so then i'm trying to reach out to right media and then

00:16:55.160 nobody's picking up the story and we don't have a voice to counter these lies and i don't know if you

00:16:59.520 remember this but the biggest lie was that we ran the biden bus off the road that was like their

00:17:04.220 favorite that biden bumbled it on a podium right he said did you see all those trump supporters run

00:17:09.400 my bus off the road it never happened but then everybody took it and ran with it and in fact

00:17:16.440 what happened that day riley is there was a biden staffer in a white car following the bus and it

00:17:21.560 hit a truck with the trump flag it wasn't a bad accident it was just kind of like they kind of

00:17:26.140 sideswiped each other the car exited its lane hit a truck with the trump flag and bounced back and they

00:17:30.140 kept driving down the road but mainstream media took that clip on a loop and only showed the truck

00:17:34.700 the car back and said we were playing bumper cars and ramming people off the road i wasn't even there

00:17:39.940 i didn't see that i didn't find out about that till later that was not my truck but being in litigation

00:17:45.820 we have the witness that took that video the man in the truck the man in the car the fbi investigated

00:17:51.340 the biden staffer caused the accident but mainstream media is not walking that back and saying oopsies

00:20:12.960 culture in my local town and it's broken our city council is not doing their job our library boards

00:20:31.460 shelves and then so i'm fighting to defend free speech at the federal level while also fighting to say

00:22:25.040 yourself to be uh co-opted in that way uh so fighting at the local level so important uh what's

00:22:32.760 your message to the everyday people like yourself who think naively that this could never happen to them

00:22:50.160 some far off concept it's been happening to me for four years i was actually experiencing some of this
