00:00:11.760I haven't gone all the way up with the paint.
00:00:30.000can you do me one favor right now hit the subscribe button good evening congresswoman
00:00:49.820nancy mace here and we're gonna just get right at it so much going on this week uh we're in the0.95
00:00:55.320midterm election cycle. We're just days away from November 3rd, 13 days away from November 3rd.
00:01:00.340Yesterday, I went down to the polls and voted early. We're two weeks out from November 3rd,
00:01:06.220and in South Carolina, you can vote early, two weeks early in an election. We're in the midterm
00:01:11.740cycle, a lot of stressed out candidates. I have to tell you, this was the first time in a long time
00:01:17.060that I wasn't stressed out of my ever living mind over an election. And you know why? It's
00:01:25.220because I'm not on the ballot for the first time in about nine years. You see, I got my start as a
00:01:31.380state lawmaker. I was a state house rep representative for three years before I went
00:01:36.040to the United States Congress to the U.S. House of Representatives. I'm actually the first
00:01:39.820Republican woman elected to Congress from the state of South Carolina, just like I was the
00:01:45.660first Republican woman elected to my state house seat when I ran in 17 and was sworn in in 18.0.96
00:01:50.780I would then go on to flip a seat in the U.S. House. I beat a guy, a Democrat by the name of Joe Cunningham, by one point in 2020 and was sworn in on January 3rd, 2021, which is when I got my start in politics, in national level politics.
00:02:09.280And a lot of people are asking me, why am I not running again? Why didn't I run for my House seat again? Why did I throw away my candidacy on the governor's race? I got my ass kicked in the governor's race. I placed fifth, by the way.
00:02:23.040And the reason that I ran for governor over the House is because when I ran for the House the first time, I said I would only serve three terms or six years in the House.
00:02:31.460I really do believe in term limits. I believe that we should limit ourselves, or at least if you're going to be in politics long term, it's good to take a break every now and then, too, and get back to reality.
00:02:42.560I'm actually very much looking forward to trying to make ends meet as a private citizen again for the first time again in about nine years.
00:02:50.040I've been an elected official for nine years, and I will retire from the U.S. House January 3rd.
00:02:55.620I'm not retiring retiring. I'm only 48. I'll be 49 in a few weeks, but I'm going to retire from politics, at least in the short term and probably for the long term.
00:03:06.100And the reason I'm doing this podcast and exploring this podcast, and if you smash that like button, hit the subscribe button, you're going to help us get to 100,000 subscribers.
00:03:15.960We're so close. But while I don't want to run for politics right now and probably not again in the
00:03:22.560future, I want to continue to weigh in on the political machine in both parties. I mean, I got
00:03:30.400railroaded multiple times by both Democrats and Republicans. I've defeated Democrats and
00:03:36.580Republicans. I've taken it to people who I thought were wrong for the job and been very vocal about
00:03:43.200that. And I love that part of the job. I love being vocal. I love being in hearings like
00:03:48.980oversight, oversight hearing where I was screaming at Hunter Biden or when I took on Kim Cheadle
00:03:55.380after President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania. Was this a colossal failure?
00:04:02.600It was a failure. Yes or no. Was it a colossal failure is the question. Yes or no. I have
00:04:08.300admitted this is a this is a yes or no series of questions was this a colossal failure yes or no
00:04:14.120yes i believe that my motion my resolution my privileged motion to have a vote to impeach the
00:04:22.540director of the secret service after trump was shot but that's the reason that she one of the
00:04:27.100heavily one of the reasons why she resigned hours later so i know that i've had an impact a great
00:04:33.540impact on our conservative causes, our conservative values. I've been in a fight or two. I mean,
00:04:38.920I started off my career as a Waffle House ratress. So I've seen a fight or two. I've seen drunk
00:04:44.120people at 2 a.m. I've not been one of them, by the way, despite the news reports, which is
00:04:49.320interesting because, you know, one of the reasons I'm getting out of this gig, too, is that I just
00:04:54.200got tired of being smeared in the press. I just got tired of the bullshit. And I got tired of the0.99
00:05:02.780false headlines, the fake news, you know, people calling me an alcoholic or, or what do they call
00:05:09.940it? A functioning alcoholic, which none of those stories were true. And it's interesting because
00:05:15.500the funny thing about that New York mag piece is I can't, I don't think I have yet to find an
00:05:20.000attorney who will sue New York bag because everything was just quote alleged. And there
00:05:24.220are anonymous sources and I'm presuming anonymous sources got on a group chat, decided what the
00:05:28.400story was going to be and then just ran with it, which appears to be what I believe they've been
00:05:33.020doing all along. But like, you know, they said I had tequila delivered at 2 a.m. And I didn't think
00:05:39.860about this after the story ran, but like liquor stores aren't open at 2 a.m. in D.C. You know
00:05:44.080what I mean? And so like I looked at everything and I've just said, you know, this is this worth
00:05:47.960it? Is this worth my life? I love standing up against the hypocrisy. I love standing up against
00:05:53.200machine. I love standing up against politics. I love taking it to the mentally ill people,
00:06:00.960men dressed as women, basically. But I've had a lot of threats along the way. I had to call0.93
00:06:16.040Capitol Police last week about another one. You know, having websites created about you,
00:06:21.540targeting you, social media accounts, you know, all those things, people following you around
00:06:26.860with a camera when you're in the store, just trying to do normal things that normal people do,
00:06:31.760you know, it gets tiring. It's emotionally taxing, and it's tiring. And I'm actually
00:06:36.880looking forward to being a little, getting back to being a normie for a while, but I'm not giving
00:06:43.740up on politics, meaning that I want to continue being a voice online, being a voice on the0.98
00:06:50.640podcast, being a voice on social media, calling out the dumb asses when they need to be called0.99
00:06:57.140out. And I learned how to do that on the House Oversight Committee, for example. I'm the one0.99
00:07:03.580that called out Jasmine Crockett. If you want to take it outside. Mr. Chairman, the committee is
00:07:08.100not in order. I'm the one that tried to have Ilana Mar and her alleged brother or husband's
00:07:14.280immigration record subpoena. Both Republicans and Democrats shut me down at every turn. Roll the
00:07:19.840tape. The remark is always let the process play out, right? That's what they always say. And
00:07:25.160nothing ever never happens. That's just that's Congress for you because both sides protect the
00:07:29.520other. I'm the one that that proved and showed that voter ID is used in everything. I took out
00:07:34.700Democrats from Texas out with stats and data. Roll the tape. Do you know the number or percentage
00:07:41.320of Democrats who support voter ID in this country? I do not, but I don't think it's a whole lot.
00:07:46.90072 percent. That was actually the first time I ever went viral on an oversight committee. I've
00:07:51.900done so many things to embarrass people about the height of hypocrisy, the height of outrageousness
00:07:58.780in the federal government. And it's time just to pass the reins of somebody else. And so I hope
00:08:02.960that you're going to join me on this podcast. I hope that you'll subscribe to Get Mace. Once we
00:08:08.040hit 100,000 subscribers, that's approximately only three to four percent of all YouTube
00:08:12.660podcasts hit that hit that level I still have a I still have a far ways to go for my overall
00:08:19.600goal I want to be at a million subscribers on YouTube and it's going to take me time it's going
00:08:24.900to it's going to take you helping me going to your friends and family and asking them to subscribe so
00:08:30.020that we can have strong conservative voices I'm very worried about the midterms I'm grateful that
00:08:35.120I'm on the ballot right now but I think it's going to be a bloodbath and I think that we're going to
00:08:40.120have. We're going to suffer some losses we should not have. We've had to move money into South
00:08:44.360Carolina for Darlene Graham's race because she hasn't raised any money. We had to move money0.99
00:08:48.740out of North Carolina and put it elsewhere, like in Texas, like in South Carolina. We just had
00:08:54.880Vivek Ramaswamy, who did not need to go after Amy Acton the way that he did. He's going after a
00:09:01.920woman whose stepfather was arrested for molesting her, for raping her at the age of 12, at the
00:09:06.440pre-pubescent age of 12. And so we're going to have some of, I think, political suicide that
00:09:12.120could have run and won without that nasty story trotting out Amy Acton's mother on a TV ad.0.56
00:09:20.140It's disgusting and it's offensive. And it's one of the reasons we're losing when we're bleeding
00:09:24.720women voters because of that kind of behavior towards women. Even I struggle as a woman,1.00
00:09:32.040struggled getting female voters. Most of my voters and supporters are men. Well, men, I need your
00:09:37.540wives to support the podcast Get Maced. I need your wives to support conservative women.0.91
00:09:43.020But we can't behave that way. You can't go after the wife of the stepfather, your mother,0.99
00:09:51.440a woman's a candidate's mom, the wife of the man that allegedly raped her when she was 12.0.92
00:09:59.040who why are we politicizing pedophilia i don't understand so i think we're gonna get wiped out
00:10:05.440is what i think and i think i'm grateful that i'm not on the ballot i'm worried about my seat
00:10:09.360flipping again to a democrat if it's not this election cycle it could be the next one
00:10:13.440the amount of money that is being spent here in south carolina i worry about my state and
00:10:19.920we need people who are conservative like you like me using their voices using their microphones and
00:10:26.080And I have to tell you, I have more of a following now than I did when I was running for office.
00:10:29.080We're getting over 100,000 new followers every single month right now.
00:10:32.700That's more than any other time that I'd ever run for office ever.
00:10:37.520And so I'm grateful that come January 3rd, I'm going to have the time to be able to dedicate
00:10:44.300to being more of a voice, more of a hammer, more of a weapon.
00:10:51.480Mace is a weapon, by the way, such a weapon.
00:10:53.880to be able to take some of these people on. Do it with my puppies by my side. My puppies are
00:10:59.600somewhere. Millie and Libby. Millie. Libby. I'm going to see if they'll, if the puppies will come
00:11:07.980to us. Come here. Come say hi. Libby, just come here. Come say hi. I have two puppies here. This
00:11:16.300is my home studio. I built my own studio, which is kind of funny. I started painting it. I started
00:11:22.720painting the studio and I haven't I haven't gone all the way up with the paint it's it's one of my
00:11:31.840bedrooms in my home come here come say hi come here come here but I have two puppies they're
00:11:40.140Havanese puppies this is Liberty and I say that she loves freedom the constitution say hi and
00:11:46.500bacon um but I'm gonna take my two puppies you know take care of my two puppies take care of
00:11:51.960myself for a while, something I haven't done in a long time because I've been so busy politicking
00:11:57.780and running for office and traveling to DC. I'm going to be grateful not to be on a plane every
00:12:01.500week or every three days. It's been painful. I'm grateful to be able to see my children more often
00:12:06.080after this, but also I get to do podcasts with the puppies and with the dogs. I just
00:12:11.680hit my lipstick on the microphone, but I built the studio in my home. I'll be able to work from home
00:12:19.560a little bit and still be that voice. But I need your help. I need you to subscribe.
00:12:24.840Help me get to 100,000. We're almost there. I want to thank you for following me on X,
00:12:29.520on TikTok, on Instagram, on Facebook. We're about to hit a million followers on
00:12:34.200my two Facebook accounts. I have two accounts, one for the job and one's my personal.
00:12:39.360But we're about to hit a million on both, which is another big milestone for us.
00:12:44.160But I couldn't do it without you. I wouldn't be where I am today being the voice that I am.
00:12:48.640if I hadn't had voters and donors like you for the last several years helping me get to where
00:12:53.980I am today. So I'm not going to be going anywhere necessarily. I'll be with you online. We'll be
00:12:59.640fighting the good fight together. And I'm just, I'm doing this podcast tonight just to say thank
00:13:04.680you because I am very grateful for where I am, for who I am, for the things that I have endured,
00:13:11.660the trauma and troubles I have endured being in office. I'm a better person because of it.
