Greg Wycliffe - Carey Price is NOT allowed to have an opinion - Trash Talk 04

00:00:00.000 I'm a Canadian. My name is Greg. This is Trash Talk, where I go over five trash takes in about

00:00:05.180 five minutes. Let's just jump right into it. We have DeAdder Canada, which is a cartoonist for

00:00:11.460 the Washington Post. And he posted this cartoon a few days ago, a book, How to Get Attention by

00:00:17.640 Doing Dumb Shit by Danielle Smith. This is in reference to the Albertan Sovereignty Act, 0.99

00:00:23.740 which Danielle Smith presented. And a lot of Albertans really like because it's essentially

00:00:28.900 telling Ottawa to back off. And I think if you've been following, actually following Canadian

00:00:34.500 politics for any amount of time, you would know that it's just a fact that Ottawa treats Alberta

00:00:40.380 not very well. A lot of their concerns get completely disregarded. Let's hear from Danielle herself.

00:00:46.280 The federal government is actively attempting to landlock our natural resources, penalize our

00:00:51.400 energy and agriculture producers, cut fertilizer use, control the delivery of health, education,

00:00:56.720 childcare and other social programs with strings attached funding and confiscate legally owned

00:01:02.060 firearms. And that's just a few examples. The framework provided under the Act will allow

00:01:06.860 Alberta's Legislative Assembly to identify constitutional concerns with a specific federal

00:01:12.120 program or piece of legislation and then recommend a measured and appropriate response

00:01:16.740 to prevent or frustrate that federal intrusion. A lot of people agree with Danielle here. And I've

00:01:23.000 even heard many Albertans say she is a breath of fresh air. I find it very funny too, that journalists

00:01:28.340 and people who are part of the ruling class will make fun of Danielle for suggesting this, telling

00:01:33.320 Ottawa to back off to have their own sovereignty. These are the same people who complained about the convoy

00:01:39.620 saying, Oh, what do you mean? Uh, uh, mandates are provincial legislation.

00:01:44.240 I guess this journalist class just gets to complain about whoever they want. You know, Oh, these

00:01:53.060 protesters are here. That's provincial legislation. Oh, this province wants to stand up for their own

00:01:57.500 rights. No, screw that. They're not allowed to do that. That's dumb. How convenient. Moving on to the

00:02:02.180 next one. CTV with their trash take most Canadians back infocation of emergency act during freedom 0.95

00:02:09.280 convoy protests. This was a poll from Nanos. Yeah. Is that right? Okay. Well, here are a bunch of other 0.96

00:02:15.760 polls from CPAC, Angus Reed, and then here's another one from CTV that all say no. Majority say no. Uh, no,

00:02:26.120 the, the invocation of the emergencies act was not justified, but, but no, those polls don't matter. It's funny

00:02:32.800 that despite all these other polls being done, even one by CTV, CTV is still like, yep, yep. We're going to put

00:02:39.140 forth this headline. Yep. We're going to put forth this headline. We think this is totally justified

00:02:43.400 to put forth this headline. It's irresponsible journalism. Calling it journalism is kind of an

00:02:48.440 insult, uh, to the word journalism. You know, they're propagandists plain and simple, but like

00:02:53.760 really, would they make up total nonsense? Would CTV make up total nonsense just to confuse us?

00:02:59.120 Would they? Bats aren't safe from new strains of COVID-19 study says. Yeah, that's a very informative

00:03:05.580 headline. Thank you, CTV. And next up, we have another trash take from CTV. Ontario hospital

00:03:11.640 considers hiring unjabbed nurses, healthcare workers to combat staffing shortages. It's about time that

00:03:20.120 you started talking about this. I simply said, if you weren't a mouthpiece for the authoritarian regime

00:03:26.120 in Canada, this would have been suggested months ago. And this individual tinfoil underscore Travis

00:03:31.960 rinsed them saying other provinces have been doing this for months. It is absurd that the

00:03:36.600 unjabbed are treated as though they are a unique danger to those already jabbed. It's baseless and

00:03:41.960 morally inept, especially when these were Ontario's cases per a hundred K when they still reported by

00:03:47.960 back status. And as you can see the graph here, this highest line is people who are jabbed with the 0.55

00:03:52.620 booster. They are getting, uh, the virus most often. Isn't that nice? Do we care about the science?

00:03:59.500 Are we going to look at the science? Let's see what Justin Trudeau is going to do. Oh no. He is

00:04:04.000 going to urge more jabs, more injections amid a rise in kids illnesses, clogging the hospitals in

00:04:11.440 the ER. This young university student, Camille Bacucci, whom I've interviewed on the channel before

00:04:15.940 chimes in saying this emotional blackmail needs to stop using the people's children against them in the

00:04:21.120 name of public safety is as Machiavellian as it gets. It is a disgusting tactic to get people to do

00:04:27.240 what you please. People need to wake up and see what this man is doing time and again.

00:04:31.700 Yeah. What he's doing is evil. Uh, I think the pushing of all these shots is just evil. At this

00:04:36.940 point, we were just looking at the studies, looking at the stats. This is about science, right? This is,

00:04:42.100 this is about safety, isn't it? And in Trudeau's recent announcement, you can almost hear him

00:04:46.180 slip up here when he's talking. Listen, there's a lot of people getting sick this year. Uh, perhaps

00:04:51.540 because we all, uh, we're so diligent about being safe, uh, over the past couple of years and wearing

00:04:56.520 masks, uh, that, uh, we need to step up again and make sure that everyone's... This doesn't even make

00:05:01.860 sense. Yeah. A lot of us are getting sick this year, probably because we were so careful to, you

00:05:06.900 know, mask up and do all the distancing. That's why we're getting sick. So let's step up again. Like

00:05:12.000 you didn't even complete your own thought, bro. I think what you meant to say is a lot of us are probably

00:05:16.420 getting sick because our immune systems aren't as strong because we've been living in a sterile

00:05:20.960 environment and that would be a good reason, but this guy, man. And in completely unrelated news,

00:05:29.400 a six-year-old girl passed away, says she had myocarditis caused by the flu, then suffered a

00:05:36.660 massive stroke. There's an article here about it in Richmond News. They go into some detail. Do they

00:05:43.040 mention if she has gotten the shot or not? Of course they don't mention anything about that.

00:05:47.780 But again, if we really cared about the health and safety and the science, we would probably be

00:05:52.340 asking that question. It would be good to get that confirmed if yes or if no, but this article does

00:05:58.100 not mention anything. And to add insult to injury, we have Bonnie Henry saying, get jabbed even if you're

00:06:03.560 pregnant. Pregnant people at all stages in pregnancy, the vaccine protects both you and your child 0.98

00:06:10.200 and gives protection to the baby for the first few months of life where there's no vaccine yet

00:06:14.980 available. So very important if you're pregnant or you're delivering or you haven't, uh, during the

00:06:21.160 influenza season that the vaccine... Can you hear her voice? She sounds terrified. She sounds terrified.

00:06:27.260 I'm scared just listening to her, but it sounds like they are not even just pushing, uh, the COVID jab

00:06:33.520 anymore. They're pushing all the jabs harder. And I'm worried that they're going to take the

00:06:38.460 traditional jabs we've had in the past and make them all MRNA jabs. You know, we did build a big

00:06:43.720 Moderna factory in Montreal, but moving on to the next trash take. This actually isn't a trash take.

00:06:49.680 This is a tweet from the ferryman's toll. Love the ferryman's toll. Give him a follow.

00:06:54.720 Lol. Even their bought and paid for media is admitting what they can't. So he's has a tweet here

00:07:00.780 from CBC news. The latest amendments proposed to the government's gun control bill C21 would prohibit

00:07:06.920 large numbers of many hunting rifles, shotguns, even antique cannons. Okay. And then this liberal MP

00:07:13.340 says facts matter. Fact. We are banning assault style firearms. We are not banning hunting rifles

00:07:19.620 and shotguns. Yeah. So your state run media doesn't even agree. You guys don't even agree with each

00:07:25.260 other. This is pathetic and hilarious all at the same time. And it's very funny when a self-proclaimed 1.00

00:07:30.460 meme terrorist like the ferryman's toll is presenting my reality and the hypocrisy on this

00:07:36.300 issue all at once. So concisely, you know, thank you so much ferryman's toll for getting to the point

00:07:42.720 that these people are hypocrites who are saying we aren't banning hunting rifles. Well, actually we 0.77

00:07:46.960 are banning hunting rifles. These people are schizophrenic and you can get so many, so many 0.97

00:07:52.220 clips from the past of Trudeau saying we're not going to ban hunting rifles. And then here we are, 0.91

00:07:57.320 but big shout out to Carrie price, the Montreal Canadians goaltender. He made a tweet, uh, sorry,

00:08:04.100 an Instagram post where he posted himself holding a rifle saying, I love my family. I love my country

00:08:09.880 and I care for my neighbor. I'm not a criminal or a threat to society. What Justin Trudeau is trying

00:08:14.700 to do is unjust. I support the Canadian coalition for firearms to keep my hunting tools. Thank you for

00:08:20.340 listening to my opinion. Wow. So a athlete said, Hey, I use hunting tools. I'm standing up

00:08:26.860 for what I believe in. And then how did everyone respond? They freaked out. Everybody lost their

00:08:33.860 mind. The Montreal Canadians made a statement saying, Oh my God. Oh, we care. Carrie apologizes.

00:08:40.920 I, he doesn't know what he's doing. And then all of the news media just came smashing down on

00:08:46.000 Carrie. Carrie price said he didn't want to be a distraction. Then his tone deafness made him one.

00:08:51.940 Carrie price has revealed where his loyalties lie and it's not pretty. And then I think this

00:08:56.680 one sums it up. Canadians apologize for discourse after Carrie price comments on gun control

00:09:02.580 legislation. So the argument that they're making here is that Carrie's post happened three days

00:09:08.640 before the Ecole Polytechnique massacre anniversary. How dare, how dare he stand up to a time,

00:09:17.060 time sensitive bill having to do with gun control? How dare he talk about that three days before the

00:09:24.140 Polytechnique anniversary? Could he have said this three days after the Polytechnique anniversary?

00:09:29.880 What if it was four days? What about five days? How long away from this date is a Carrie price

00:09:36.480 allowed to have an opinion on bill C 21? It's so silly, but I don't even think it's so much about this

00:09:42.780 specific opinion on this specific bill. I think it's the fact that someone with the platform and 0.61

00:09:47.040 athlete is opposing the Trudeau regime. They are saying, Hey, I don't like your legislation.

00:09:52.360 And then all the news media all at once is coming down on him and saying, no, you don't have that

00:09:57.680 opinion. How dare you have an opinion? No opinion for you, sir. And they just happen to use this

00:10:02.660 connection to the Polytechnique to crap all over him essentially. And the point is to discourage

00:10:08.780 any amount of dissent, any amount of opinion having that disagrees with the Trudeau regime.

00:10:14.640 That's what I think it comes down to is every other athlete actor and popular person in Canada

00:10:18.940 is going to see how Carrie was treated for having an opinion and be like, Oh, well, I don't want to

00:10:23.000 get, I don't, I don't want to get steamrolled like Carrie price did. And of course we could connect it

00:10:26.840 with what happened to Kyrie Irving down in the States for having an opinion, but what the hell

00:10:30.960 can people have opinions anymore? Can we have an opinion? Can we have discourse? No, no discourse allowed.

00:10:36.680 It's ridiculous. Where is the intellectual honesty at all today? I mean, some psychopath 33 years ago 0.93

00:10:43.780 went on a massacre. Obviously it was tragic. Obviously it was terrible, but what does that have

00:10:48.840 to do with changing the laws in Canada to take away firearms for hunting from lawful gun owners in

00:10:57.260 Canada? How do these two connect? And the answer to that question is these dots only connect if you

00:11:02.600 have a childlike understanding of guns and gun control. I made a few tweets about it here. It's

00:11:09.260 obvious that the ruling liberal class caters their policies to the massive voting block of city

00:11:14.100 dwellers that get them elected. Do you think city dwellers understand the necessity of firearms for

00:11:19.580 rural Canadians? No. So they lean into that ignorance in their messaging. Messaging as simple as guns are bad, 0.99

00:11:26.640 all guns bad. If you own a gun, you are bad. They do the same thing with the carbon tax and climate 0.96

00:11:32.520 change. If you have an SUV, you're bad. If you don't want to reduce oil, you're bad. That's simple.

00:11:39.120 And it's ironic because it's actually the sophisticated city dwellers that are the ignorant 1.00

00:11:44.760 bigots. They enjoy a sheltered city life, miraculously convincing themselves that oil and gas 0.98

00:11:50.700 isn't necessary for life in Canada during a Canadian winter. And if you live in rural Canada,

00:11:56.020 you know that that's completely silly to even suggest. Finally, dividing Canada into backwards rural 0.77

00:12:02.000 hicks versus sophisticated city dwellers is a very effective frame for the ruling class. 0.90

00:12:07.720 They get to justify their contempt for millions of rural Canadians by encouraging city people to

00:12:13.420 embrace their hatred, ignorance, and false virtue. That's been Trash Talk. I hope you enjoyed this 0.94

00:12:29.320 more videos like this. Thank you for watching, and we'll talk to you soon. And really, I think it

00:12:34.360 speaks to how stupid this country is becoming. I said, the unique brand of cancel culture in Canada 1.00

00:12:41.160 is extremely cringe as it belligerently encourages stupidity, insecurity, and insincerity, 1.00

00:12:48.300 and an unfounded hypersensitivity to every possible dimension of how something might be construed 1.00

00:12:56.760 as offensive.

00:12:57.640 as offensive.
